I have been uploading too much now...

But if you read one of my unfinished works and you really liked it, let me know and I might get on another chapter even if it's discontinued.

Mostly though, I just update what I feel like updating.

So... writers' block.

We've all dealt with it before. Broadly speaking, it's a mental wall that prevents a writer from continuing their story.

How to stop writers' block before it sets in:
Map out your story. List down events you know you want to write. List down your characters and their plot significance. Make a schedule for writing, such as "I'll write this much on this day for a certain period of time". Make sure to brainstorm ideas every chance you get.

How to stop writers' block when it sets in:
Take a break. Brainstorm some more. Reread your old chapters to get the feel of the plot again. Take a walk, listen to some music, read some more to hopefully get more inspiration. Remind yourself of what you want to make happen in your story and try to build up to there from where you're stuck.

Hopefully these tips worked, but ultimately, don't drive yourself crazy trying to finish something. It's okay to discontinue a book if you've genuinely lost interest in it. Putting something on hold is easy if you're really stuck.
