I Love plot twists.

It makes the story more intense, and I love it, buut, some people may think they wrote are plot twists, but it is not.

For example.

If Asuka tried to go back to her home, but no one night she saw an unusual being. Plot twist? Nope.

If you are making a plot twist, make sure to stay with the topic. Do not change the topic.
