paragraphs, yes. paragraphs are weird, and that's exactly why i'm here to help.

when writing paragraphs, make sure that they aren't too long.
paragraphs get to be too long after 250 words, and often why i click off of a story because my little brain can't keep up.

when you're going to switch to a different, yet similar topic, space it like this:

"He turned to me, holding the cup of tea in his hands. "Fancy a sip, dear?" His emerald eyes glittered, awaiting an answer. You nodded, giving him a warm as he passed the mug to you. You took a sip, as he awaited your reaction. As you sipped it, your cheeks flushed, and your eyes sparkled. "Like it?" He chuckled. You nodded frantically, as you handed the warm mug back into his rosy hands.
"Same time, afterschool tomorrow?" He asked. You nodded, giving him that same warm smile."

when you are going on a completely different topic, space your paragraphs like this:

"Her mint dress swayed as she walked out of the cafe. All she yearned for was to go home and nap. That tea may have had caffeine in it, but boy, did it make her sleepy.

She approached her doorstep, and stumbled a few times due to fatigue, yet she finally made it, opened the door, and passed out on her love seat."
