CherryBlossomSky: There are many types of writing outside narrative or creative stories of which Wattpad is known for. Each of them, of course, are meant for different reasons.

Why do we bother writing:

Because... we are told to

»the teacher makes us

»to get our ideas out of our heads

»to prove what we know

»it is fun

»so we don't have to take another multiple choice test (I honestly see no problem in this option but some people hate multiple choice)

Important Note:

As my amazing teacher would say, "Writing is the externalization of a student's internal thoughts"

Therefore, writing shows THINKING. If the writing is unclear or confusing, it is likely that the thought are as well!

I personally experienced this thousands of times! The first draft isn't going to be perfect! If you get the ideas out of your head and onto that paper you can fix and add details you want to express in your writing.
