If The Hermits Found Hermittpad (TDOQ Day 1)
Thirty Days of Quarantine challenge, go!!! Try to guess the Hermittpadders if you want
----------
False, X and Keralis stood in the shopping district. A large, orange portal stood there, swirling and bright.
"I say we go through it," False said, drawing her sword from her green belt.
"Me too, Shashwammy. Maybe we could find some friends, or something like that!"
X sighed. "Guess I'll go in first," and with that he stepped in, the other two close in tow.
----------
Keralis opened his eyes to a bright field with a few people dotted around, next to a town, a few hundred people running around there. His eyes brightened. "HELLO, M-MPPH!" False slapped her hand over his mouth.
"Keralis, be quiet. Let's not really acknowledge our presence and just quietly walk in, ask whe-"
"HELLO!" A short girl with red hair and a white dress ran up to them. "You must be some new roleplayers!"
X frowned. "Roleplayers?"
"Yeah roleplayers!" the girl laughed. "That's why you're here!"
Quickly, a short man ran up to them. He had a brown robe on and a chicken mask covering his eyes. "Sally, don't just-" he stopped. "Hello, there. Newbies, right?" he extended his hand towards X. "Nice to meet you, I'm Poultry Man. Call me PM."
X took his hand lightly. "We're... not roleplaying." He said.
The girl's- Sally, apparently, eyes widened. "You're the real hermits?" she exclaimed loudly.
A girl with black hair and glasses glanced up frantically from a laptop. "CRAP." She quickly ran off towards the village.
"ADRI, NO!" PM yelled, running quickly after her.
Sally smiled, grabbing False's hand. "C'mon, let's go! I know the others will be glad you're here!"
----------
The four ran down a cobble road past shops and small houses, some larger towers in the distance. They quickly found themselves in front of a larger building with the sign, "WRITING AND READING" on it. "Here's where lots of writers stay," Sally whispered before opening the door.
It opened to a small room with a desk and some chairs, many doors on each wall. A girl with brown hair with teal tips was sleeping, a large computer sat in front of her. She looked up warily as a little bell jingled as the quartet walked in. Her eyes widened. "Oh my god," she said. "Roleplayers aren't allowed, but..." She looked into each hermit's eyes. "You guys are real, up to date, and not dead or insane."
Keralis wore a worried look, quietly hiding behind X.
"Now, don't be shy, my dear cinnamon roll. Let's bring you to the fluff room?" She walked over to a pink door. "Or do you want angst, or shipping, or flangst, or comedy, or AU land, or Bike AU world, or, god forbid..." She glanced at a black door with Caution tape covering it. "S-World."
False frowned. "S- World?"
The girl frowned, moving some tape lightly to show a sign. It read, Smut World, go away it's cursed close your eyes hide and go to the fluff room and grab some bleach ASAP.
X frowned. "So it's bad? Okay, let's just go in there," he pointed to the pink door.
The girl smiled. "Fluff, good choice. Sally, you can go to Magic Maker's place, I guess? Roleplayers don't usually stay here." Sally nodded, running out the door and down the road to a small path out of town.
"I'm Kittie, by the way," the girl said. "Now, to candy and cuteness we go," and with that, she opened the door.
A small group sat at a table, screaming at each other. Colored strings sat in the middle of them. "WORMITS! WORMITS! WORMITS! WORMITS! WORMITS! WORMITS! WORMITS! WORMITS!"
Kittie's eyes widened as she slammed the door shut. "Nothing to see there-"
She opened another door, purple this time, shoving the trio in before shutting it behind them.
Two tables sat in the middle of the room. At one, a person jammed into their keyboard, an evil grin across their face. At the other, 2 people sat reading on their laptops.
A girl with brown hair and a black robe sat tearing up, a dirty blonde woman sat behind her, eyes wide. A person with long black hair sat smiling at their computer, typing away.
The person looked up. "Heck. Heckity heckity heck. Uhm, welcome to angst central, where tissues are a common occurrence," they pointed to some shelves on the wall nearest them, hundreds of tissue boxes piled atop each other. "I'd rather you don't stay here."
"Okay, then," X grabbed False and Keralis, running out of the room. He turned on his heels towards a green door.
"WAIT!" Kittie yelled from behind her desk, but the trio had already ran into the dreaded room.
The Shipper's Area.
----------
X stopped as the lime door closed behind him.
A girl with black hair pulled into a ponytail wearing a navy blue uniform had two dolls resembling certain hermits. "Now kiss," she put their faces against each other.
An elf with long brown hair and a gray robe smiled, drawing a picture with some crayons in a corner.
A woman with blonde hair with teal tips was quietly singing as she typed. "Just a spoonful of Scarian makes the day go by~"
A girl with brown hair with blue tips looked up. Her eyes widened from behind her blue rimmed glasses. She looked down at her laptop, and slammed it closed. "Out. Out out out. You guys are not allowed in here," she grabbed Keralis's arm, dragging him and the others outside. "You all are not allowed in this room." And with that, she closed the door.
-----------
The trio walked up a small path to a cottage just out of town. Three people were sitting on the front porch.
The first, a short woman with red hair, was scolding a small cactus for pricking her. A dirty blonde with large wings was laughing, holding some UNO cards on one hand, a cup of lemonade in his other. A tall man with red hair sat next to him on the porch swing, laughing with his cards and lemonade.
"Hello!" the red haired man called. "Good to see some new mystery accounts around! Like there aren't enough already,"
X sighed, immediately turning the other way. "Nice to see you, too!" Keralis called cheerfully, waving as they went back down the path.
They soon came across a small hut, three people standing in front of it. PM, Sally, and a woman in a maroon robe over a fancier outfit.
The woman had Sally next to her, hands gleaming with magic. Poultry Man held a carton of mangoes. "Magic Maker, just give me back Sally, and I'll hand over your mangoes-"
"No! You'll just give me mengoes!" Magic Maker yelled, backing Sally away from him.
"I swear I won't! Now give me back my Sal-" Magic Maker had already left, along with Sally. In her place sat a purple portal.
Poultry Man looked over. "Go on, I think she left that for you."
Keralis hesitated for a moment, but False and X practically threw themselves into the portal.
