An Old Friend (RolePlay)

Snake stood on his porch, cleaning the windows. He had stopped for a moment to adjust a strap on his overalls when a call came from the forest nearby.

"LEOOOOOO!" Snake picked up his cleaning rag, starting to clean again when the cry continued, louder this time. "LEOOOOOOOOO!"

Snake scrubbed a dark speck on the right of the window.

"LEONARDOOOOOOO!" Snake stopped, eyes wide. He turned around to face their melon patch.

There, a tall girl with dark-tan skin and long, black hair with small horns was trudging around, waving her hand wildly. "Jemma?" Snake called out. The girl nodded, running up to the house and onto the porch.

She hugged Snake tightly, then pulled away with her arms on his shoulders for a good look at them. "Leo, what's with your eyes?"

Snake fake-smiled. "I'm fine, just a small incident 2 months ago. I'm fine now, it was worse before." Before the girl could say another word, Snake put a hand up to her lips. "Jemma, I'm fine. Come inside, we can talk in there."

Jemma nodded, devil tail flicking as she walked through the threshold. As the two sat down in some old chairs in the sitting room, Snake called, "Smol!" Jemma tilted her head, shuffling in her chair when a new person came out of another room.

"Snake, what is I-" Smol muttered, then saw Jemma. Both person's eyes widened, then Smol smiled. "Oh, hello!" She said, taking Jemma's hand and shaking it. The budgie on her shoulder fluttered around Jemma, landing on her head. The demon lifted her shoulders in discomfort. Snake chuckled, picking up the small bird from their friend's head. They placed the it back on Smol's shoulder, making her chuckle. "Oh, its okay!" Smol laughed more to her bird than Jemma. "Anyways, let me go make cookies!" She ran across the hall into the kitchen.

"Leo, who the heck was that?" Jemma asked. "And why did she call you "Snake"? Isn't that kinda offensive?" She rubbed her lime-green beanie.

"That was my flat mate, Smol. She's really nice." Snake frowned. "And anyways, 'Leonardo'? The name kinda sucks."

Jemma looked sternly at Snake, nodding slightly. At that moment, the fire alarm went off, startling the heck of both friends. The demon jumped up, yelling for Snake to get up and RUN. But he just sat there, smiling as Smol came running out of the kitchen, covered in sugar. "I'M SORRY, I'M SORRY!" She yelled. "I BURNED THE COOKIES!"
