The Writer

In the realm of ink and paper, a writer's heart does dwell,
Crafting characters with care, their stories she does tell.

But amidst her prose and pages, a longing does ignite,
For a love beyond the words, in the depth of starry night.

She dreams of one who sees her, as the muse of their desire,
A soul who understands her, sets her heart on fire.

With laughter as their melody, and passion as their guide,
She writes them into being, in the quiet of the tide.

Yet as she delves much deeper, into her tale's embrace,
She finds herself enchanted, in a wistful, haunting space.

For the character she conjured, begins to feel so real,
Drawing her ever closer, with an irresistible appeal.

She yearns to step inside the pages, where his presence reigns supreme,
To feel his touch, hear his voice, in a world where they both gleam.

And as she surrenders to the magic, losing herself within,
She finds that love she longed for, in the story she did spin.
With every stroke of pen, she weaves their destinies,

Until she's but a phantom, in her own realities.
For in the arms of her creation, she finds her heart's release,
As the writer and the written, finally find their peace.
