Why I am talking about this? Because some metals conduct electricity better than others. This is something of help when it comes to Science Fiction stories.

Conductive metals are used in making robots, cyborgs, machines, and possibly Artificial Intelligence. Without it, computers, television, and a few other things doesn't exist. Inventions based on electricity needs conductive metals to deliver the power to it.

And one more thing: Silicon based chips. Research it. Some have rare Earth elements.

This is all I can share at the moment about this subject. I am sure there is more about it. But this is all that I know.
