I've always thought writing was a form of magic.  

Writers create worlds, take us around the globe, into other realms and across time.  

Writers weave a tapestry full of characters we grow to love, instantly hate, can never forget and need to know more about. 

Writers pull emotions from us, making us laugh, cry, scream, fall in love, take up arms and generally feel.

And us readers can have a connection to the writers of the past and present, bringing those writers to life every time we read their works.

All by the seemingly simple act of stringing words together. It's magic.
