Somebody (maybe Aristotle) one said there are no new story plot lines. And in a way, it's true.  The plot line is something happens, someone reacts to it and someone moves on in their new circumstances.  

But there are variations on a theme.  And variations upon variations upon variations.  Romeo and Juliet is a variation of Pyramus and Thisbe.  West Side Story is a variation of Romeo and Juliet. Twilight is a variation of West Side Story. 50 Shades of Grey is a variation of Twilight.
