Karen Locksmith is a young adult. She wants to become a famous singer, but she feels like the world is trying to stop her.

Things keep on getting in the way. It starts out small, with a little cousins birthday party the day of her first recital, but things grown increasingly worse as she finds out her mother has cancer... And that she does too.

With only a year to live at most, Karen is growing desperate to sing to the world. To be remembered.

But then when a horrible car crash happens, and Karen accidentally kills a man, Karen is stuck in prison, singing to the metal bars, that are clamped around her soul. She passed away two days after being in jail, from a heart attack.

In heaven she finds the man she killed, and wants to make it up to him. She convinces God to let him come back to life in his old body, and as a spirit only the man can see, she leads him to be able to sing amazing songs.

Her singing talent comes out... from a used-to-be-dead man.
