This topic is about those people who claim everything they see is plagiarized. 

Let me give you a quick example on "Copying a Famous Book" with Twilight and Obsidian. 

Here's Twilight's Summary:

Now, THIS IS PLAGIARISM OF A FAMOUS BOOK. 

I had one girl message me the other day and say, that I "Completely ripped off Divergent with the whole disrupts thing".

First, I don't see how Divergents and disrupts are all alike. I know that disrupt cause problems with the legend, while Divergents cause problem with the government and they both don't follow the common (Disrupts don't follow the legend), but that doesn't mean I copied off of Divergent! Most of the time disrupts are just people that don't fall in love with their bound or save someone that was supposed to die. I don't see how it resembles Divergents so much that I "COMPLETELY ripped off Divergent." Secondly, disrupts were created in 2011 when I was eleven. I read Divergent last year, 2013, so there was no intention in similarities. Thirdly, I don't even like Divergent! Why would I rip off a book I don't really like! 

Look, guys, it doesn't mean that two concepts are familiar that it means that this (or any book out there) COMPLETELY ripped off another book. I know, there are a LOT of casses where they do. And I will admit, I do rip off the Infernal Devices a LOT in my book, and I am trying my hard to remove those differences, but there are some things that just aren't rip offs unless they are COMPLETELY alike. Like Obsidian and Twilight, where it is the same thing but with names switched around. 

Okay? Okay. 

"GIRL YOU RIPPED OFF tfios BECAUSE BOTH YOUR CHARACTERS SAY OKAY!!!!! OH MY GOD, YOU ARE SUCH A COPIER! IT ISN'T EVEN FUNNY YOU PLAGIARIZER!"
