Evan was caressing my hair and calling me beautiful. His eyes sparkled as he laughed. He was leaning in to kiss me, when I woke up with a jolt. I'm not with Evan. I'm here at Talent Academy in my dorm room.

It's February now, and we are back in school again. I've been keeping Evan and my recording contract a secret for over two months now. I think Grace suspects something. Or maybe she doesn't? I'm not sure. My mind feels so conflicted.

"You okay?" Grace makes her way over to my bed. "You were calling out a name in your sleep." Concern shines in her eyes. My conscience burns in me that I'm living half of my life as a hidden lie.

"Sure. Why wouldn't I be?" I shove my hair back into a rough ponytail.

"You've been acting weird ever since I got back. What happened over break? You know if you met someone you can tell me. That's what girls are supposed to do." Grace gives me a "mac-cheesy" grin that always makes me smile, despite my troubles.

What do I do? She would freak out if she knew. Before I can respond, her phone dings. "What was that?"

"Newsfeed update...." She says scrolling down the screen of her phone, then immediately starts jumping up and down. "Joey proposed to Susanna!!! Look!" She shoves the screen in my face and we squeal and chatter then get ready for our first official day back in class.

We are already sitting in class when I realize I still hadn't told her the truth.

For that matter, Evan or my label doesn't know the whole truth either. They think I'm a college girl.
