After Ralph discarded his Medal of Heroes, the Out Of Order Sign slipped causing him to see the Sugar Rush Game Console. Feeling even more terrible, Ralph took off the Sugar Cookie Medal that Vanellope had given to him moments before he destroyed the Kart that they made together.

"Okay, open 'em up!"

"To Stinkbrain? Gee, thanks!"

"Turn it over: (THE OTHER SIDE SAYS YOU'RE MY HERO.) I made it for you. Just in case we don't win. Not that I think there's even a remote chance we're not gonna win!"

"Thanks, kid..."

As Ralph gripped the Medal tightly but tenderly, he noticed something strange that got his attention. Vanellope's picture was on the side of the Game Console! Ralph looked confused at his best friend's picture... If King Candy always told him and the people of Sugar Rush that Vanellope was always a Glitch; never meant to exist or to Race in Sugar Rush, then why is her picture on the Game Console? Suspecting that something foul was at play, Ralph dashed out of the Nicelander Building to Game Central Station! Gene, Mary, and the others were shocked by the speed Ralph was rushing at! "Whoa! Hey, hey, Ralph where are you going?!"

"To do the Right Thing, Mary! I may not be a part of Fix-it Feilx Jr. for much longer, but Felix and Vanellope can still count me to be there for them, even when they don't want me to be!"

"Isn't going back to Sugar Rush to help this Vanellope and find Felix when the arcade is about to open in less than 2 Hours to Unplug our Game especially when it's too late really, really unsafe?!"

"Tried playing it safe, old friend! Didn't work! It's never too late to change, Gene!"

And with that, Ralph hurries back into Sugar Rush! He needed answers and needed them now! Luckily, he knew where to start looking... Pretty soon, Ralph found himself at the last place that he saw Vanellope. Although he couldn't find Vanellope or King Candy anyway, he did find Sour Bill sweeping the last remains of Vanellope's Broken Kart outside of Diet Cola Mountain, and boy was he mad! "Hey, Cough Drop!"

"Huh?"

"Explain something to me; If Vanellope was never meant to exist, then why is her Picture on the side of the Game Console?"

"Uh... (DROPS HIS ROYAL HAT AND CLEANING TOOLS AND STARTS TO RUN FOR IT, BUT RALPH GRABS HIM!)"

"What's going on in this Candy-coated Heart of Darkness?"

"Nothing..."

"Talk!"

"No!"

"I'll lick you!"

"You wouldn't!"

"Oh yeah? (LICKS THE SMALL SOUR BALL, TO PROVE THAT HE WASN'T BLUFFING!)"

"Oh! That's like sandpaper!"

"Mmm... I wonder how many licks it will take to get to your center?"

"I'll take it to my grave!"

"Fair enough! (THROWS HIM INTO HIS MOUTH, CAUSING SOUR BILL TO SCREAM IN HORROR! RALPH EVEN FELT HIS MOUTH BEING SOUR A BIT!) Oh! (EXCLAIMS) They call you Sour Bill for a reason! (SPITS HIM OUT, CAUSING HIM TO GASP FOR AIR!) Had enough yet?"

"Okay, okay, I'll talk, I'll talk! Vanellope was a Racer until King Candy tried to delete her Code!"

Ralph was angered and horrified by that last remark! That's why Vanellope was always glitching so much ever since he met her and could never leave the Game! King Candy had purposely made her a Glitch to keep her from Racing! "Tried to delete her Code? So that's why she's a Glitch! Why is he doing this to her?"

"I don't know!"

Ralph shrugged, before preparing to put him in his mouth again. "Suit yourself!"

However; before he could, Sour Bill tried to convince him that he was telling the truth! "No, no, no! I swear I don't know! He literally locked up our Memories, and I cannot remember! Nobody can!"

Ralph realized that's why the Racers and the Citizens were always so mean to Vanellope; King Candy was hiding something from everybody and why he wanted to lock him and the kid in the Fungeon earlier! "But I do know this: He'll do anything to keep her from Racing... Because if she crosses the Finish Line, the Game will Reset and she won't be a Glitch anymore!"

Ralph knew that he had to find Vanellope and apologize for what happened earlier, so they could get her to the Race before the Arcade opens! "Where is she now?"

"In the Fungeon with Fix-It Felix!"

Ralph was shocked by that; he knew that Felix came looking for him like Gene told him, but he didn't know that he had been locked up like Vanellope! "Felix?!

"I'm sorry, that's all I know! That's all I know, I swear! Now, please, don't put me back in your filthy mouth again! (SOBBING)"

Ralph may not be able to take his Anger out on King Candy for hurting him, Vanellope, and Felix, but he was happy to take it out on Sour Bill. Sighing, he stuck the Sour Ball to a Lollipop Tree! "Stick around!"

"Yes, okay, I will. I will, thank you!"

And with that; Ralph grabbed the can of Vanellope's Broken Kart pieces, and took off! But when he was about to arrive at the Castle, he found one of the Racers rushing towards him! It was Gloyd OrangeBoar! "Wait, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be getting ready for the Race like everyone else?"

"Not without Vanellope, big guy! I know where the Fungeon is, come on!"

Confused, Ralph followed the young boy to the Castle. "I don't get it, I thought everyone in this Kingdom didn't remember who Vanellope was?"

"Oh! Believe me, King Candy did lock up all my and the other's Memories! But... In my heart, something tells me that Vanellope isn't a Glitch. However; if I did speak up for her, King Candy and all the Racers would've treated me like an outcast as she was, and then I wouldn't be able to help her... But when she threw your Medal in the entry Pod, I was so excited that she would get her chance to finally Race like the rest of us... But when Taffyta ordered us to destroy her homemade Kart, I hated every second of it!"

Ralph remembered the horror he felt when he saw Gloyd and the other Racers destroying Vanellope's Homemade Kart earlier right before he scared them off. 

"Hey! Leave her alone! Scram, you rotten little cavities! Before I throw you in the mud!"

"Yeah, I know the feeling..."

"I was really grateful when you scared us off. After that, I was ready to back out of the Race for the first time! But before I could, I heard Vanellope had broken into the Bakery and had made her very own Real Racing Kart! I was so excited that my Pixels were about to start Glitching!"

Ralph couldn't help but laugh before they arrived at the Trapdoor in front of the Castle. "Anyway; the point is, I couldn't live with myself if I didn't do something before helping you, Felix, and Vanellope first, after not standing up for her after 15 Years! (BREAKS THE TRAP DOOR OPEN WITH HIS FOOT.) There we go! Good luck!"

Ralph smiles, knowing there's a chance for him to fix things with Vanellope, Felix, as well as his Game! "I may not be a part of Felix's Game or his and the kid's life for much longer, but the both of them can still count on me to get them where they're going!

Gloyd seems a bit worried at the risk of Ralph getting captured as his friends did! "Isn't that really, really unsafe!"

"Tried playing it safe Orange kid, didn't work!"

And with that, Ralph dropped into the the trapdoor! After looking around the Cells for a bit, Ralph couldn't seem to find Feilx anywhere! "Man, this is freaking me out! If I don't find Feilx soon, I'm gonna lose it!"

Suddenly, he heard a familiar voice! "Hello? Hello? Somebody! Anybody! Please let me out!"

Ralph knew that was Feilx's voice and ran closer to where the Cell was! "Hello? Anybody here? Feilx? It's me, Ralph! Where are you?!"

Suddenly, he finally the wall of where the source was coming from! "Oh! Why do I Fix everything I touch?! (CRIES WITH A SOB OF DESPAIR.)"

Ralph put down the can that had the Broken pieces of Vanellope's Kart, and punched through the Wall of Feilx's Cell! "Bam! (BREAKS THROUGH THE WALL OF THE CELL, AND FINDS FEILX ON JAIL BED!) "Feilx!"
