I could feel myself slowly falling a sleep in glynda's combat class. Even though Jaune was fighting Cardin I didn't request to go. I wanted to wait and see what she chose.

The fight ended with jaune beat and Cardin smiling cockily. I get up and smile evily.

Glynda: Who do you want to fight next?

Cardin: Him

He points his mace at me and I get up and kiss Blake on the cheek, kiss Nora on the forehead, and give the rest of the girls a hug.

Y/n: *whisper* I'll be back

Phoenix: I'm going with you!!

Rias: me too!!

Y/n: but I said I would take care of it!!

They quickly give me puppy dog eyes and plead with all their hearts.

Y/n: fine, but just this once!!

They cheer and cardin's teammates get ready while I prep my sword.

(timeskip after humiliating CRDL)

Rias: so boring!! I wanted it to last longer!!!

Phoenix: c'mon sis!! at least we had a workout!!

I nod at the two of them.

Y/n: well i might as well choose someone else.

"I don't think so"

I look and see the familiar red hair and armor with sword and shield.

pyrrha: I was wondering if I could have a chance.

I pull my sword out and step forward.

Y/n: Phoenix, rias. head back to the stands, I wanna do this alone.

They hesitate but nod and go back to their spots. Me and pyrrha charge at each other, swords raised. Here weapon and mine clash with sparks flying. She charges with her shield as I use my sword and she runs past me. Quickly regaining balance she slashes at me and I jump back. Her weapon morphs to a gun and she fires away as I block the shots.

Pyrrha: This was rather fun!

Y/n: exactly my thoughts. But the thing is.....

I charge in the blink of an eye and her shield blocks my sword.

"I don't like hurting pretty faces"

her face turns red and I kick her back, putting her aura in the yellow while mine was still a little green.

Murmurs from the crowd begun to pile in.

Y/n: c'mon pyrrha!! let's give these people a show!!

pyrrha: By all means!!

she charges and our swords cross. She leaps back as her sword morphs into a spear. She charges again and I block the attack only to be knocked by her shield.

I stumble again and she thrust her weapon at me. Spinning sidways I swing my sword. as expected she blocks with her shield. I drop my sword and leap at her.

she ducks and I spin out of the way. Landing next to my sword we leap again and our weapons cross, sparks flying everywhere.

We leap back and I lift my sword into my stance. She charges first and I swing downward as she jabs into my side, putting my aura in the yellow.
She cockily smirks at me and I give the same smile.

I land away from her and already in my stance.

Y/n: how about we ending right here?

I begin channeling energy from my body and into the blade as it glows.

Pyrrha: why not?

Her stance gains another burst as me and her leap one last time.

(timeskip)

I groan as Phoenix pats down my arm front the blow I took.

Phoenix: honestly, you could've done better.

Y/n: *grunt* yeah I know *wince*

Vegeta: you idiot. you were fighting a warrior known worldwide. of course you would've lost.

Y/n: real comforting vegeta *wince*

Trunks: well, in any case we should get going, next class is going to start.

I begin to get up bit wince a bit.

Y/n: who do we got next?

"Oobleck"

I nod.

Y/n: alright. let's go.

(timeskip)

I was already confused. The dude zipped across the room explaining everything like his life depended on it.

Oobleck: Now are there faunus in here who have been made fun of?

Most of them raise their hands and I immediately feel bad for all of them, especially velvet. my thoughts where interrupted when I hear someone yell "hey", and just like that, I felt worse for the poor schmuck.

Oobleck: mr. Arc! finally contributing to class!! splendid!! what is the answer?!

He looks horrified and frightened. He stutters and looks at everyone who is trying to help him.

Jaune: uhh.... it was.....ummm.... binoculars!!!

Cardin snickers and my anger bubbles.

Oobleck: I assume you know the Answer mr. Winchester??

cardin: I know it's easier to train an animal than a soldier.

Y/n: *sigh* I suppose you would know huh cardin?

he gets up and looks at me and I easily shoot him a look from the corner of my eyes.

Y/n: unless you want to get embarrassed again I suggest you sit.

He hesitates then sits back down. I hated the concept of class as Blake starts explaining everything. I didn't listen much due to the fact my mind was somewhere else.

After class I get up yawning like hell, only to be stopped by Pyrrha.

Pyrrha: can you help with jaune?

Y/n: sure

The three of us head to the roof where I look out at the sky.

Jaune: I know I'm depressed but not this depressed Pyrrha.

Pyrrha: what? no!! I just brought you up here to talk.

I mean against the wall.

Y/n: jaune, listen, I can tell your going through tough things with cardin, but you need to be the bigger person when the time comes. If you let it, he'll be beating on you and forcing you to do thing you don't want.

Jaune: listen guys, I want to do this on my own! all the people in my family were heroes!! and I want to just be like them.....

Pyrrha: just because they were heroes doesn't mean they didn't reach out.

Y/n: *gets off the wall* jaune, everyone here has their weaknesses, but don't let them be the thing they can pick at. Your stronger than them. the question is, when are you going to show it?

I turn away and begin heading down the stairs.

Y/n: goodnight guys.

I stop in front of my dorm room and lean against it for a second.

"Ah jeez. what did I just do?"
