Aaron woke up a few moments later; he couldn't feel most of the pieces in his body. He rubbed the side of his head and looked over to see if Cameron was anywhere nearby. Sure enough, she was, not too far away from where he was laying down. "Ugh....what happened?" He asked rubbing the side of his head.

"You used too much of your light in one go Aaron, you knocked yourself out," Cameron replied putting the ship on autopilot.

"What do you mean used too much of it?" Aaron asked curiously. "I've seen James use his for long periods of time without any problems." He said with his body still aching from his fight earlier.

"Easy Aaron, you just unlocked it, relax." She said to him trying to get him to sit still. "Now, listen, James can control it easier because he's trained with it the longest. He explained that to me when I nearly passed out when we were training together. We use too much energy that's just being blown out all over the place. It's a fury based thing."

"Fury based?" Aaron asked.

"Yeah, emotions affect how much light you emit in a given moment when you're using it. You know how when you activated your transformation you broke a hole in the Hellmouth?" She asked him.

"Yeah, why?"

"That's all light that exists inside of you. You used a ton of it when you were just transforming, then after a few moments of fighting not controlling your light, you knocked yourself out."

"So how can James do it for longer?" Aaron asked leaning up.

"He's trained longer with it. He knows what it can do and what it can't. How long he can use it and how long he can't." She replied honestly. "Even I can't do it for very long; I can do it for six minutes at the most."

"So you're saying that it's an emergency thing only?" Aaron asked her.

"Yeah, ever notice how when we travel for only a few moments before we deactivate it, or why we use our ships to get to the other planets in the Sol System?" She asked him.

"Yeah, I noticed that." He sighed. "So...I got this thing, and I can't use it for too long, or I could kill myself?" Aaron asked her.

"Yeah, that's the jist of it." She replied.

"How long can James use it for?" Aaron asked.

"Not long, about ten minutes at the very least, twenty at the most." She replied.

"Okay....I think I'm gonna pass out again." He said tiredly.

"Go ahead, get some rest buddy." She replied as her Exo friend fell down back onto the comfort of where he was laying down before. Cameron moved up toward the front of the ship and started trying to contact the Tower.

"Tower, do you come in over?" She asked over the open radio.

"Rodger that, this is Cayde-6 reading you loud and clear." The Hunter Vanguard replied. "You guys alright? You went dark on the rock a few moments ago."

"Yeah, we're alright, Oryx nearly walked us up to Hell's door." She replied honestly.

"What about my best Hunter? How's he doing?" Cayde asked her. Cameron looked over her shoulder at Aaron as he groggily tumbled around on the cushions he was laying on top of.

"He's out cold." She replied.

"Man, Thrall hit him too hard again?" Cayde joked.

"No, more like he conquered his fear of them, and in doing so, he got his Invictus form unleashed."

"And, he went all willy-nilly, right?" He asked.

"Exactly, you want me to transmat him to his apartment?" She asked the Hunter.

"Uh....yeah, that'd be best." He replied quickly as Cameron's ship touched down on the Tower Hangar. She sent the Exo to his room to recover as she stepped outside of the ship. The Titan walked out across the massive hangar floor and headed toward the stairwell toward the Hall of Guardians. After leading through the stairway, she approached the center of the room. She looked around to find Sidriks and Vel speaking with each other not too far away from the Nerve Center of the War. The Titan walked up to the two of them and wondered what they were talking about.

"Cameron, you okay?" Vel asked her.

"Yes. I'm fine; I think I should be asking you that question. Your the one whose home was destroyed." She replied sitting down on a chair across from them.

"We've been trying to figure out what to do from here." She replied. "I mean, that was where we lived, we're probably going to move back in once this is all over and done."

"That sounds like a plan to me." She replied. "Sid, what are you thinking? We're working on trying to figure out how to take out Oryx for good. Will you be coming with us?" She asked him.

"I will do what I can, for now, my people are in disarray and are attempting to get settled. In their current state, I can't leave. Not yet." The Eliksni replied honestly. Cameron looked into his four silver eyes; she could see why his people liked him so much. He cared about their well-being and was willing to lay down his own life for them.

"Anyway, what are you going to do? We may need your help." Cameron told him.

"I am aware of that." He said taking two of the three rings he had around his fingers and handing them to Cameron. She held the white and gold bonds in her hands curiously. Unsure of what these things were or even what they were for. In the center of them was an inscription written in Elik, she wasn't sure what these meant.

"Sidriks, what are these?" She asked him.

"A prized possession of my people, ancient artifacts that allow the body and soul of the users to form into one being, becoming stronger and more powerful for as long as the rings are worn." He remarked. "I believe that it will be necessary when you go to face Oryx." He told her.

Cameron looked down at the artifacts, and her tactical mind started to think about how they could use them. While the rings would lower the amount of people that they would have, it would double the strength of two of them. What could these do if Invictus charged them? Would it make the transformation last longer? Or would it somehow make it so that the light from the two guardians was nearly limitless? Cameron grimaced at the thought and placed the rings in her pocket, locking them into place.

"Thank you Sidriks," Cameron replied before standing up from the couch. "I'm sure we'll find a good use for them."

"Be careful; I don't know what Invictus will do to the rings," Sidriks remarked.

"Understood." Cameron nodded before walking toward the hangar and walking up to look at the Traveler. She thought about what happened through all these years and what Aaron said to her earlier today. How much things had changed, she sighed and walked off toward the apartment that she and her family shared. They did their part. Now, it was up to the others to bring Emily back.

On the Dreadnought James, Nova, Will, and David arrived on the colossal Hive ship through the landing zone that Caesar had secured. The Half Exo boy looked around the area; he'd not expected there to be this much darkness in this place. Then again, it was a Hive ship.

"So, this is the place where this Toland guy is supposed to be?" David asked through the comms in his helmet.

"Exactly," James replied pulling the Paragon Shift off his back. "We need to get moving; I think the cell block isn't too far from where we are now." He said breaking out into a sprint. The three others followed close behind, David clutching the pulse rifle his Uncle gave him. The boy still distrusted the weapon, only because of who'd created it. The red and black gun would glow red each time he would fire it, he was worried that it would start speaking to him at some point. The group moved as a unit through the corridors of the Dreadnought. James lead the charge until they approached a large central chamber.

"Alright," Will remarked as they stopped. "Where do we go from here?"

James looked from the left to the right thinking on which way that they needed to go. He came in here through the right door; it just looped around toward the central chamber with another Hive portal. "Left." He said sprinting off toward another large doorway. He could feel his heart start to race, what could they do to save Emily? And if Toland couldn't, what would they do? He feared, that it may come to that and nobody would like what would come next.
