Chapter 6: TimeVerse
Of course, he immediately gets to work on mitigating the pain, knowing everyone is in shock.
The Fells and Geno immediately yell that Error is lying and Ink is brainwashed, to which Error flinches violently, opening some cuts that Ink had just healed.
Ink sends a fearsome glare towards the Fells and Geno.
Classic and Sci wander over, but Error just flinches away from them as well, trying to pick at the marks. Ink grabs Error's wrists, catching the hyper-vigilant and scared Destroyer.
"Calm down. If anyone tries to attack or hurt you, I'll send them to the Void." Error's eyelights shift for the first time to small clock symbols before forcefully going back to normal.
"0-0k4y...p-pr0m!s3?" (O-okay...p-promise?)
"I solemnly swear that if anyone tries to harm or attack you, Error Sans, I'll personally yeet them into the Void." Error's trembling and picking lessens or stops respectively as he nods in response, allowing Classic to use green magic on the marks. Sci pulls out a tablet and Error winces away but doesn't flinch as Sci slowly runs a scan on Error's soul, gasping at what he reads.
"We've been wrong about him this entire time."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE GOOD SANSES HAVE CAPTURED ERROR?!"
"Sire, do not yell. I mean what I say. Ink took Error from OuterTale, and current location indicates he's in their meeting room."
"I knew it was a bad idea letting him live. Shoulda killed him sooner."
"I agree. Error shouldn't have been allowed to teleport away, he should have had an anti-magic collar."
"He was strapped to an anti-magic table by anti-magic cuffs. He really shouldn't have even been able to get free." Cross raises a brow.
"He was able to get free from that? Wow. I'm impressed."
"It felt strange, like there was something else the magic cuffs didn't catch that he was able to tap into. Because any attempt to repair the cuffs or table was met with them reverting back to a broken state. It's like Error forced them into a time of disrepair and his residual effect forced them to remain in that state."
"Then we really need to hurt him, don't we?"
"Indeed."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"What do you mean we've been wrong? He's the destroyer, multiple people have seen him destroying AUs and called for us."
"Not like that. Dream, Ink. You both know about other multiverses, right?"
"Yes. We're called the UnBalancedVerse. Why?"
"If Error were really our Error, and thus a member of one of our timelines, his Multiverse would be ours, right?"
"That makes sense."
"But that's not the case." Sci zooms in on Error's Multiverse, which reads simply TimeVerse.
Ink taps his chin, recalling the small time gear shift.
"Could it be...I thought...hmmm...he really did get pulled here...huh. Strange."
"Ink, spill it."
"Not yet. I need to confirm my suspicion with some alternate me's, but I won't be leaving Error alone with any of you. You all want to hurt him or have hurt him. He only barely trusts me." Everyone in the room shivers as a chill covers the room, Dream and Error going pale from the new visitor.
"Error." Error trembles, stumbling back to a wall, shaking his head as tears well up.
"N0t y0#..." (Not you...) Ink instinctively steps between Error and Nightmare, his brush instantly in his hold.
"You'll leave him alone."
"Look at this. The Creator defending the Destroyer. What an interesting situation. Could it be you're doing this so he'll trust you and love you? So you'll be able to hurt him better. Honestly, if that's your plan, I won't mess it up. I'd love that kind of negativity." Ink narrows his gaze, splashing red paint towards Nightmare.
"One, I'm defending a victim of abuse and maltreatment. Two, I don't care if he trusts me or not. If I were him, I wouldn't trust me. I'm doing this because it's the right thing to do. He's afraid of you, so keeping you away from him is simply the right course of action to do. And I honestly don't feel any attraction towards him or anyone beyond platonic. You're sick if you want someone to be hurt for your amusement."
"Haven't we established I'm the Icon of Negativity? I'm supposed to be sick, Inky pal." Error shoves Ink to the ground, a giant red knife just missing the two. The two slowly get to their knees, Error pulling out his strings.
"Error was it? How'd you get free from those anti-magic cuffs?" Cross summons his red knife again, pointing it at Error, who glitches worse for a second.
Error.
He freezes completely, glitches covering his eyesockets.
You've made a Fatal Error.
Tears begin to drip down Error's cheeks, everyone in the meeting room trying to find the source of the voices.
You know what you need to do to earn our respect again. End the original Outer. Destroy all OuterTales.
Error shakes as his body stands up, clearly against his will, and his mouth responds.
"Y35 D3!7y." (Yes Deity.) Error snaps his strings around Outer's soul, pulling the Sans close. Outer frowns, smiling sadly.
"Don't apologize, just fight them, please. You can choose. You're not their puppet anymore." Outer says to Error, who is shaking hard. Ink paints a giant barrier around Outer and Error, jumping in.
"Error." Error snaps his gaze to Ink.
"Calm down. I'll never let them control you again." Error tears up, tears running down his tear tracks as he turns to Ink, hesitant yet desiring affection.
"Y-y0# *hic* p-pr0m!53?" (Y-you *hic* p-promise?)
"Yes. I promise you'll be safe and free." Error practically crumples to the ground, his soul appearing as the paint barrier drops. The soul has yellow and red strings covering it. Ink glares at the strings, concentrating on the destruction magic he has learned, focusing it onto the strings.
The two string types rebuke the destruction, but Ink presses harder against the magic of the strings.
"You won't control him any longer!" Ink pushes all his strength into the strings, both of the string types shattering instantly and unraveling off Error's soul. Ink sighs, sitting on the floor beside Error's slumped body as the soul hovers, flickering between all the colors before settling on Light Blue and Yellow as the brightest with the others all dimming to accommodate. The soul returns to Error's chest as everyone processes what they saw. Error blinks his eyelights, subconsciously moving closer to Ink, who is 'relaxing' but all the Sanses recognize this pose. If anyone does anything Ink doesn't like, he can instantly hit them with a bone attack and be out in less than a second. He is a predator waiting to strike any unsuspecting Sanses.
"Error~" Error freezes, Ink turning his closed-eyed 'relaxed' posture toward Nightmare.
"Don't tell me you trust these Sanses over me? I've never intended you any harm. I knew you'd be fine." Error trembles, tears welling up as he hides in Ink's scarf.
"Do you want to leave now?" Error mumbles softly to Ink, who stands, pulling the small and child-like Sans up with him. Ink opens his eyes revealing white emotionless eyelights.
"Don't follow us, kay?" Ink shoots a barrier of bones up around the two, teleporting the two to a private and well-hidden area of the multiverse, leading Error to a house in the woods.
"This..." Ink says as he enters a clearing with a cozy little house.
"This is my home." Error's eyelights shift into stars, the child-like wonder coming out in full force.
