The sound of gunshots scare most people. To me, they're a sense of comfort. I grew up around guns. My parents were illegal gun smugglers, moving in and out of North Korea with their weapons until they were caught and excuted when I was sixteen.

I hated them for never being there. They left me alone for days at a time while they went on illegal sprees across the border.

I was going hungry while they were laughing on top of piles of money, none of which they left to me.

Nothing was left for me to lose, so I decided to go into war. Who cares if I'm dead? Nobody.

That is, until I met Wonho during boot camp. He quickly became the only person in my life who I gave a damn about, and who gave a damn about me.

The only person I would willingly take a bullet for.
