You love me?

After speaking with Lyle I went to the room with his words still running in my mind, I must have fallen asleep because I waked up to Valentino cuddled to me also asleep I get up. Going to the bathroom to pee and wash my hands when I come back he is awake and just looking at the tv, watching someone painting the road. By painting I mean adding those white stripes on the road. That's the thing with Valentino "he loves how mute his day can be" he once said to me and I have also notice that he resides in silence. He has a very weird but unique personality he is stand offish and awkward sometimes but some days he can be your entertainment. He is a crazy soul, he once told me that he cut his hair off because a girl he did not like complimented it and said she likes a dread head guy. He says he loves how mute his day can be at the place he works at

As if he can sense me staring at him he turns my way smiling, "come here" I crawl to the far end of the bed where he is laying. I enter his embrace with my head on his chest as he plays with my hair. He leans down placing a kiss on my forehead before saying, "I love you" I still, shocked. Wait did he really say that or am I hallucinating? "thank you" I say shocked. "forget it he says" I get up and say, "can you please take me home" he looks at me face full of hurt and regret but he nods his head getting up and picking the keys he heads for the door leaving me behind. He opens the door for me but faces the other side so I don't make eye contact with him.

On the way to my house it is quiet because I am thinking, We arrive and he unlocks the car and looks out the window, he is mad. I step out of the car and head straight to my room. My reason for reacting this way is because I have not thought about what I feel for Valentino and him saying he loves me was putting me under pressure to say I love him too, and I did not want to say something I am not sure of.

Before bed I take a quick shower and come out drying myself, apply some lotion and wear my pjs as I am halfway through my assignment I get a call from Valentino. "Hey" he replies saying hello, I ask, " are you still mad at me?" he sighs and says, "I mean not anymore but its kinda painful when you open your heart and confess your feelings to someone and they say thank you. " ohhh so its about my response, "Look Valentino I was not intending to hurt you or anything I was just in shock." He sucks in a sharp breath, "Look serenity if we're to continue with this, I need you to be completely honest with me and I need you to communicate with me. You cant just say thank you, tell me what you really think, tell me the truth even if you think I will not like it. Rather hurt me with the truth." 

Okay this is heading to the wrong direction, "Look I freaked out when you confessed your feelings I just don't want to be pressured into saying something I am not ready to say. What I feel for you is more than liking you, I genuinely care for you and I am sorry for saying thank you that was not very nice of me." He lets out a low chuckle , "yeah thank you is pretty fucked up but I am also sorry for making you feel pressured into saying something you are not comfortable with saying. I just need you to be honest with me that's all. Me confessing my feelings for you does not mean you must say you love me back, take your time princess." I let out a long breath, whispering an okay, " anyways what are you busy with ma?" I reply, " I am finishing up my assignment" he then says, "oh sorry for disturbing let me let you finish up then mhh?" I nod forgetting he cant see me, "yeah I'll text you when I'm done" he replies saying, "okay baby good luck , I love you bye. I whisper a bye before I drop the call.
