Jakey was staring down at Bryan, a worried expression on his face. Bryan looked up, swallowing a scream from the nightmare. "Bryan, are you okay? You look scared. Did you have a nightmare again?" Jakey asked, looking at Bryan, clearly trying to get a gauge on the Fire Mage's emotions. Bryan smiled brightly, after all, there was NO WAY he would ever DARE to make his small bit of sunlight sad over his issues. "Yep! But it's fine, it wasn't that bad!" Bryan said, keeping up his smile the entire time, even though he didn't want to. Jakey brightened up almost immediately, and Bryan chuckled inwardly, giving an amused simile for Jakey's sudden change in mood. Jakey laughed in his quiet, stuttery way, seeing his expression. Bryan looks around his surroundings, and sees that he is in the same field he and Jakey had star watched in the night before.  Bryan stretches, smiling once more at his friend. "We should probably be heading back now..." Jakey said, sounding somewhat sullen. Bryan notices this, and smiles brightly at him, trying to get him to smile too. "It's okay! We can always come back, and besides, we can just hang out in my house! Or yours, if you would prefer." Bryan offers, making Jakey laugh at his enthusiasm. "True, true." He responds, still chuckling. "Come on! Let's go! We can tell stories, or sing along the way!" Bryan calls over his shoulder as he runs in the direction of the Guild Hall. Jakey, laughing at Bryan's antics, races to catch up the speedy Fire Mage as they run home.

(Author's Note: I KNOW, I KNOW, ITS SHORT, BUT WE NEEDED SOME FLUFF!!! Also, would you guys prefer me to write in first person, or how I write now? I'm thinking of first person, but I want your guys' opinions! Farewell, My Pups!)
