Linc followed the rules and it was fun. Grayson took him to the drive-in and they had sex in the backseat. This felt like old times. Linc took Grayson shopping; they stayed close to the Rehab. It was mostly older and experienced vampires at this mall and they mostly just walked around and talked.

They found a bathroom and had sex there too. Grayson wasn't letting go of his vampire. They spent two weeks seeing each other and dating. Linc was at the house every night for dinner and he was happy. He was almost home. Grayson brought Linc to the house to practice, it was his idea of a date. He wanted to fight with a vampire and they had to get used to fighting with a vampire.

The first practice, Linc wasn't sure. They started slow and Nathan sat and watched. He was armed with a taser, just in case. He didn't mind tasing any vampire, but he was starting to really like Linc and he was surprised. He liked these two together. Grayson looked happy for the first time in the year he knew him.

"I'm not sure about this, Grayson." Linc was worried.

Grayson glared. "If you call me Grayson one more time, I will tackle you and not give you a choice, Lincoln."

Linc smiled. "Grayson."

Grayson laughed and charged Linc. Linc felt the tackle and flipped Gray. They wrestled and grunted. They stopped and started a few times.

Nichole walked in and sat by Nathan and watched. She had been coming by to check up after his visits. She wanted their input when he wasn't there. The whole team seemed happy that he was visiting and at the prospect of him coming back. They loved Linc. Nathan was on the fence but he didn't know Linc before he was a vampire.

Grayson and Link fell to the mat and Linc was on Grayson. He leaned in and kissed him. They melted into each other. Grayson chuckled. "You know how to win!" He kissed his man.

Linc nodded. "A kiss takes the sting of losing away." He kissed him.

Grayson laughed. "This time. I am learning and can only get better!"

Linc laughed. He inhaled. "I never thought that we would be here again!"

Grayson rubbed Linc's back. "Me either and I couldn't be happier."

"Me either. We should get married!" Linc just said it. He stopped and sat up. "What is it about this room that makes me say things!"

Grayson sat up. "Really?"

"Well, yeah, it's a curse. This is where I told you I was in love with you! I can't seem to shut up in this room!" Linc smiled.

Grayson shook his head. "No, you want to marry me?"

Linc laughed. "I didn't mean to say it!"

Grayson held his face. "Linc. Will you marry me?" He studied his eyes.

Linc nodded. "Are you serious!"

"Hell yes. Marry me." Grayson smiled. "And you asked me first!"

Nichole's jaw probably hit the floor as she heard the conversation. "You know, I was here to advise you against fighting each other. I was afraid that it would be too much. Did you just propose?"

Linc laughed. "Yes. I believe I did! Nicki, I love this Ukase and could never hurt him. I am in love with him down to my vampire soul. I loved him as a human and I love him more as a vampire. I want to make him my husband and my parents are definitely disowning me!" Linc laughed and kissed Grayson. "You know that I could never hurt you."

Grayson smiled. "I know that, Lincoln." He smirked.

"Grayson." Linc glared.

"You better find me a big ring! I mean shiny and diamonds everywhere." Grayson smiled.

"Big ass wedding." Linc smiled.

"Oh yeah! Let's hire a wedding planner and invite everyone!" Grayson smiled. This would be a very high profile wedding.

Linc laughed. "Everyone will want to see this!" He touched Grayson's face. "You will be my husband! Do we have time?"

Nichole smiled. "Yes. You have an hour until dinner."

The men were gone. Nichole laughed and smiled at Nathan.

"They are getting married?" Nathan smiled. "Linc is interesting."

"He is. When a vampire first wakes, do you know what their main concern is? Their only thought?" Nichole asked.

Nathan shook his head. "No?" What did this have to do with anything?

"Food. Blood. They only think about food for months, usually. We have had a few that didn't but it's rare. Linc's first sentence was asking if Grayson was okay. He was concerned about the hunter." Nichole was just informing Nathan of what kind of person Linc was.

Nathan nodded.

"When he was in practice, learning to move and not hurt someone, his drive was Grayson. He said that Grayson would be worried and he didn't want that. Two days after he was turned, he asked to call Grayson so he didn't worry. That man was his number one concern. He even broke up with Grayson so that he could move on and be happy. I have never seen a vampire love like that, Nathan." Nichole sighed.

"He's different from the ones we hunt. I know that but I am trained to think vampires are bad. I know that they all aren't. Like you, Nichole. I know that but it's tough." Nathan sighed. "You seem to have a handle on everything."

Nichole laughed. "Nathan. I have been a vampire for almost fifty years. It took me two years to get to where Linc is in one year and even then I wouldn't choose to fight a hunter. I told you it's rare. I have seen it. Our boss, Jeff Knowles, was like Linc. He has been watching his progress. He's the only other that I know of but even Jeff doesn't want to live with humans, especially hunters. Linc is weird!" She smiled.

Nathan smiled. "I like him." Nichole nodded. She did too.

Linc was laying in Grayson's arms. Grayson smiled. "Linc. That was amazing." He sighed.

Linc nodded. "I am inviting my parents to dinner tomorrow night. I am telling them everything."

Grayson smiled. "Good. About time you grew up!" He chuckled.

Linc laughed. "Sure. I don't know why they have such a hold on me. Even now! I want their blessing and that's stupid. I know that they won't even come. I know that but...I need to hear it from them, I guess." He sighed. "I'm foolish, Gray. I just wanted them to love me."

Grayson held him tighter. "I know. I'm sorry they are like that. I'm sure deep down, they love you."

Linc sighed. "Sure. They're not going to come, Gray." He sat up and wiped tears. "I'm so foolish." He covered his face and cried. Grayson just held him. It took a minute but he got back in control. "Sorry, Gray. I'm sorry about that."

Grayson smiled. "No need, Linc. I got to hold you, it's my job. I will hold you anytime you need me to. I'm yours, Linc."

Linc looked at him and smiled. "I'm yours, Gray." He nodded. They kissed and Grayson made love to Linc very slowly until someone knocked.

Emmett sighed and knocked. "Uh, dinner. If you can pry yourselves apart." He chuckled.

Linc laughed. "Coming. We should get you fed."

Grayson smiled and got his pants on. "I am starving. This vampire raped me for an hour!"

Linc smiled. "Expect that tomorrow night too!"

Grayson nodded. "I am. You are calling me when you get home?"

"Always." They walked down to dinner. Linc always called when he got home and they talked for a couple of hours. Grayson couldn't wait until he lived with them. Until they slept in the same bed.
