Linc didn't know what his problem was but he avoided Grayson. He knew he was being childish. He thought they were good since their talk but Linc was actively avoiding Grayson now. He didn't want to talk about it. They weren't even practicing and the whole house noticed.

Linc went to the gym to hit a bag. He couldn't sleep and he wasn't sure if he wanted the dreams to stop. This last one was intense. He kept seeing his dream as he hit the bag.

Grayson pulled him close and they were naked. He kissed Linc and they both moaned and touched each other. Linc loved touching Grayson. The dream was very realistic and Linc could still feel everything.

Linc knew that Grayson was coming so he started to leave the gym. He was too late. Grayson cornered Linc in the gym. "What in the hell is your problem?" Grayson glared.

Linc glared back. "Let me pass." There was going to be a fight.

"Talk to me, Linc." Grayson would beg. "It's been two weeks of this weirdness. Talk to me!"

Linc glared. "Fuck you." He tried to shove past Grayson but he pushed back. They wrestled and Linc started swinging. He was pissed. No, he was scared. Grayson finally pinned Linc to the floor. "Get off!"

Grayson held him down and looked at his face. He saw the fear. "Talk to me. Linc. We are friends." He hoped they were.

Linc shocked Grayson when he saw tears in Linc's eyes. Linc shook his head and tried to turn his head to hide the tears. "Let me go."

"Not until you talk to me." Grayson demand. "You are not just entitled to treat me like shit because I'm gay. I won't stand for it and you will not just throw away seven years because of it. Fuck you, Linc. I won't allow it."

"I'm in love with you!" Linc said it really fast and then was shocked that he said it. What did he just do? No! No way he just said that. "Shit!" He laid his head on the floor and stopped fighting.

Grayson froze and just stared. "What?" He stared at Linc. No way he just said that. "What? Linc?"

Linc shook his head. "I'm sorry. I can put in for a transfer. I'm sorry. I'm sure it won't take long to find a replacement, Gray." Linc was a mess.

They heard the alarm. They were getting a call. "We are talking about this, later." Grayson stood and pulled Linc up. "Now, let's go get a vampire." He smiled as they rushed out and got in their car. It was already ready. Tyler kept it ready and they appreciated him.

Grayson was driving this time because Linc wasn't in the shape to drive. "We are talking when we get done. Are you okay?"

Linc nodded. "Yes. Hopefully, I get to kill something!" He cleared his throat.

He was freaking out. Did he just say that he was in love with Gray? That just came out. He wasn't even planning on saying it.

Where had that come from? Was it even true? He wasn't sure. He loved Gray like a brother. He always had. But he said he was in love with him?

He covered his face and sighed. He rubbed it and dropped his hands.

Linc was keeping his mouth shut for the rest of this trip. He had just done enough damage. His words just kept echoing in his head. He was in love with Gray? Really? He closed his eyes and almost groaned out loud. He just fucked up.

Grayson was quiet. Was Linc in love with him? Really? He just said he was in love with him? Grayson heard it and almost died.

Linc was in love with him. He smiled and couldn't help it. "We are talking later." That was a demand.

Linc sighed. "We don't have to."

"Uh, yes, we do. Linc? We have to." Grayson almost laughed. He was in the best mood. "Later. Let's just get this done. Catch this jackass."

Linc nodded. "I'm ready to kill something. I'm sorry about what I said."

"No! We are not talking about that until later, Linc. Later." Grayson had to think about this. "I have to think for a while."

Linc knew him. "I know." He closed his eyes and those words were on repeat.

'I'm in love with you!'

Linc cringed every time he heard it.

Linc was expecting this to be a disaster but the vampire was new and actually gave up. He knew he made a mistake and he accidentally tried to bite someone and they called it in. He surrendered. He would be in rehab and take classes. He was very cool, actually. Linc was disappointed.
