Kiku walked into his classroom early. As usual. He took his seat and read through his science notes, muttering answers to questions as he studied.
Once the class was full and the teacher took attendance, she clapped her hands "we have a transfer student!" She says cheerfully "Alfred Jones from America!" She says happily

A boy with blonde hair and a strange strand of hair sticking up, comes in, waving happily "hey dudes!" He says

The teacher smiles "how about you sit next to Kiku?" She says, motioning to the seat next to Kiku, who was still studying.

Alfred did as told but didn't really listen to the lecture. Mostly doodling on his paper and humming.

Kiku was getting annoyed by Alfred's ignorance but kept quiet, continuing his notes.

Alfred smirks and looks at Kiku "hey."

Kiku doesn't look at him "hello" he says

"What's your name?"

"Honda Kiku."

"Cool name! I'm Alfred F. Jones!"

"Pleasure"
