Honestly, my first prom will be this year or next year which is why I don't really know what happens in a prom so I just wrote based from what I know.

Prom night. It is an event when all can bring their dates and have fun, also a romantic time to confess. In addition, a night that the four girls-Ino,Tenten, Sakura, Hinata-has been waiting ever since they were in elementary school. Sakura has been looking forward to it and the feeling of nervousness was pumping up inside of her.

She was preparing for the night. She already had the perfect outfit, special thanks to Ino and her friends.

The event starts at 7 PM until 10 PM at the school grounds. Even though Konoha High is a wealthy school, they use the school's gym as tradition.

Sakura had a last check of herself at the mirror before going down to the door as soon as she heard the door bell. "Hey." She smiled sweetly as her sight dropped at Sasuke who was at the door.

Sasuke was wearing his tuxedo with a red tie. Ebony suit as his jet-black hair was spiky like usual, hands in his pockets of course.

He looked her from head to toe and gave his signature smirk then back to Sakura's eyes.

He may not say it but that was the way of how he say 'You look amazing.' They have been friends for more than 7 years,it's obvious that Sakura would understand his movements.

Sakura wore her crimson dress that ends up at her knees and matched up with pitch-black heels. She wore light make up on her face, leaving her short hair down as a few strands of hair cover the sides her forehead. She suited up with her black necklace paired up with black earrings. She had a small dark sling bag to match her pitch-black heels.

"Let's go." He reached out his hand for Sakura to hold.

When Sakura took his hand a voice came rushing to them. "Wait!"

Sakura turned back and grinned. "Misa-san!" She hugged Misa as she returned.

Then they let go. "I'm going to take a picture of you two before you leave."

They both positioned a smile. In Sasuke's case, it was almost a smile.

Snap!

"Aww! You two look astonishing! Okay, you may go now. Enjoy!" Misa waved as Sakura got in Sasuke's car and Sasuke, being a gentleman, opened and shut it close for her. Once it was closed Misa shouted for Sasuke to hear. "Sasuke-san, I told her already and take good care of her."

Sasuke nodded affirmingly as a 'thank you' motion. She was talking about the last time that he brought Sakura home. "I will."

With that, he closed the door as they made their way to the school.

As they entered the school grounds, the two amazed at the scenery in front of them. They were greeted with dozens of shimmering lights, random designs and music blasting through the speakers when they met the school's gym.

They walked, side by side, to the main entrance with couple of balloons on both left and right.

Red carpet was placed on the floor as gold tridents on the sides, snowy white color mixed with cerulean blue cloths up the ceiling while shiny stars hanging from it. Round tables were scattered in the area and covered with pure white cloth then the chairs surrounded the table plus they were decorated as thrones. The theme is 'Gods and Godesses' after all.

At the center of the stage inside the gym, four expensive-looking thrones were placed for the God which pertained to the Prom King, Godess that is the Prom Queen as two Demi-gods, representing the Prom Prince and Prom Princess of the night.

"Hey can you put this at your pocket?" Sakura showed a normal pen.

Sasuke gave a questioning look.

Sakura sighed and pleaded. "Just please put it."

Without another word, he just took it and shoved it inside his pocket, still doesn't know why though he ignored the thought. They both found their friends standing near the food buffet tables.

In a little while, Sasuke made a gesture for Sakura to rest her hand over at his arm to which Sakura giggled before gladly accepting as they made their way to their friends.

"Well well, the Uchiha did ask 'her' after all." Neji put up his smirk triumphantly as the others switch their gazes to the two.

"Sakura-chan, you look beautiful!"

"You look good, Sakura!"

"Woah Sakura you look pretty!"

"Oh my gosh forehead! I knew that dress would suit you!"

The four girls simultaneously complimented their friend though a certain Platinum blonde was the first to hug her, making Sakura let go from Sasuke's grasp.

Sasuke tilted his head to the direction of the boys as Sakura gave a curt nod at her date before chuckling at her friend's responses, leaving Sasuke to the boys. "I could say the same to you girls."

Temari was wearing a dark green dress that has a spaghetti strap and ends below her knees with glimmering sandals paired up with shiny accessories while her wavy hair was down.

Hinata wore a strapless dark blue dress though she covered her arms with a cardigan that has long sleeves, being a conservative woman she was. She also had a purse to match her dark heels and jewelries as she left her long straight hair into a braid. Elsa (Frozen) style.

Tenten's appearance was the most unexpected. Being the ungirly type, you would expect that she would wear a long dress and closed-shoes. What she was wearing is the exact opposite. She wore a coal-black sleeveless dress and heels with the same color as her brown hair was down with curly ends. Her make-up was light but she was unknown to be Tenten.

Ino was wearing her purple strapless dress paired up with her violet heels though her long straight hair was down to her waist while her bangs were clipped up to the back of her head, wearing make-up and jewelries of course. Her dress was not that long so it was showing off her creamy legs. She also had a purse to put her belongings. Ino really knows how to handle her beauty.

Sakura shifted to Ino and Tenten. "It's been a long time since I saw you two leaving your hair down. Well, except for Tenten when we were back at the sleepover."

Tenten shook her head knowingly. "Don't get your hopes up, this will probably the last time that I'll be leaving my hair down."

Ino, Sakura, Temari and Hinata all exchanged looks.

"Oh, that wouldn't be a problem." Ino finished her drink.

Hinata grinned mischievously. "We can always work on that."

Tenten gulped at the fact that these girls have stored a plan in the future to which they laughed at her expression.

Sakura decided to change the subject since scaring Tenten was probably enough. "Hinata, it's the first time I saw your hair braided, it's cute." She stroke Hinata's hair as she smiled.

"Thank you Sakura-chan. It was quite hard to fix your own hair." The shy Hyuga stated as she felt a little uncomfortable since she wasn't used to her hair braided.

"Don't be concious about it. It actually looks good on you." Temari remarked.

"I could say the same with your hair down." Hinata smiled as the girls chuckled.

"Our Hinata is all grown up! First the fangirl plan and now the backfiring?" Ino said as she pulled Hinata to a hug and placed her hand at her chest. "I am one proud blonde."

The girls laughed and continued their girl conversation.

"You should be thank me for making your dresses and matching your outfits." Ino flipped her hair jokingly.

"You are the fashion queen, after all." Tenten took a sip of her refreshment. "Even though I have to wear these sick heels."

Tenten scoffed at her feet that was hurt as Ino held her shoulder. "Admit it, you look hot in that clothes."

She just flushed into the tint of red as her reply.

"Since when did you start making dresses and outfits anyway?" Temari questioned.

"Ever since I was little and whenever summer comes, boredom would hit me and I just ended up drawing and designing clothes." Ino answered with a shrug.

"So were there any fangirls while I was gone?" Sakura asked.

Gaara and Kankuro were both somewhere in the gym and Kiba hasn't come yet.

Temari shook her head.

The brunette shrugged. "They were scared since we were with them a while ago plus their 'presidents' aren't here yet." She put air quotations at the word presidents.

"Oh lookie here, the fanclub just arrived." Temari said with disgust as she signaled that it was time to go since the fangirls spotted their gods.

"Come on." Tenten muttered while they took a step closer to the boys. Sakura cleared that she will talk to Ino about the bet later. The boys comes first.

Back to the boys...

Sasuke glared at Neji based from his previous remark which the Hyuuga returned.

The boys were all wearing tuxedos with the same inky-black color though their difference is the color of their ties or bow-ties.

Naruto broke their electricity trance by yelling. "Teme! Never knew you asked Sakura-chan to be your date." The sun-kissed haired man wiggled his eyebrows teasingly.

"Never knew you'd suit up dobe." Sasuke replied, emotionless.

"Do you think Sasori-senpai would actually bring a date?" Shikamaru joined the boys' talk while Naruto let Sasuke's point aside.

"He is the bad boy of Konoha High including Deidara-senpai." Neji stated the fact.

"Hi Naruto-kun!"

"You're so cute Neji-kun!"

"Sasuke-kun come with me!"

There were at least fifteen fangirls that charged at the three boys by helding their arms and stick their chest and legs towards the four poor men, even Shikamaru got included in the victims of the fangirl's wrath.

That's when the fuming girls showed up.

Sakura got furious and it was a little obvious at her face though she was able to grabbed Sasuke away and took the pen out of his pocket. "Look!" The fangirls faced to Sakura. "It's Sasuke's pen, go and get it!" She threw the pen as hard as she can to the point that the pen went out of the gym and reached the field.

From a far, a man with white hair walked in the prom event and he waved towards the Hinata and the girls as signal. Hinata nudged Ino so that she would start.

"OMG is that the hot celebrity singer?!" Ino screamed to the top of her lungs as the fangirls forgot who they were ogling at and ran to the man with white spiky hair then the 'hot celebrity' rushed off for his life.

As the gossip queen, they easily believed in whatever she says.

"We owe Suijetsu big time." Temari muttered at Sakura who was now beside them and both looking at the man getting jumped at then the pinkette sighed but nodded.

There were still other fangirls that stayed in which Sakura, Tenten, Temari and Hinata secretly clipped something to them while they were distracted.

"Woah, that's a cute clip you got there girls." Temari acted as she stared at each of the fangirl's hair.

"And you're all matchie." Sakura winked at them as the fangirls screamed and went out of the gym, realizing that they have insects and bugs at their hair.

With that sight, the girls did a 'high five' in success.

The boys went to their dates and thanked the girls, admitting that they're plan or maybe prank was funny.

"Nice job." Neji said, heading towards Tenten.

Naruto went beside Hinata. "Yeah thanks you really saved us, dattebayo."

"Even I got affected." Shikamaru sighed.

"Pretty clever." Sasuke whispered over Sakura who just grinned with a shrug.

"Guess Sasori did ask Kira." Neji stated, looking at the school's entrance.

They all switched their visions and saw Sasori with a girl named Kira at the entryway.

Naruto was the first to walk to their direction. "Hey Sasori-senpai! I guess you did brought a date."

He averted his sight to Kira who has her dark brown hair down into wavy ends. She wore a snowy-white strapless dress. She was known to be one of the pretty yet smart girls in the senior batch. Even a couple of boys even developed crushes at her though Sasori took care of that.

Sasori nodded at Naruto as Sakura and the others came to them. "Kira, I suppose you've met them before during club time, right?"

Kira gave them a slight nod then grinned. "Let's see, the sun-kissed hair is Naruto, jet-black is Sasuke, long brown hair guy is Neji, pineapple head is Shikamaru-they laughed at this-Ino is the platinum blonde, the other blonde is Temari from the volleyball game, the braided hair is Hinata, pink hair is Sakura and holy sh*t are you Tenten?!"

They were amazed that she remembered all their names though Tenten chuckled at Kira's reaction. "Yup that's me!"

"How come you don't leave your hair down? It looks good on you!" Kira questioned, still quite shocked that it was Tenten.

"She said fanboys would increase." Temari answered for Tenten.

"You are one smart-ass girl." Kira added as they laughed. "Better prepare for monday though."

Curiosity defeated Sakura. "By the way, how did you know our names?"

"I pretty much knew because you guys and my friends are the only fun people I know in Konoha High. The others are just fans, b*tches or average students with no fun."

Ino agreed at her perspective. "True."

"I also met Temari because we were temmates at the volleyball game during field trip. I met the boys during football games and I met some of the girls during clubs." Kira mentioned as she glanced towards a different direction. "Catch you guys later! Sasori I'll head to Kikara and the others."

Sasori nodded as permission and  Kira went off to her friends.

"She seems cool." Ino commented.

"Kira and her friend, Kikara, are the only fun girls I know in our batch."

"Yeah because the rest are your stalkers." Naruto laughed as hard as his lungs could managed.

Which earned him a whack from Sasori.

"Oi Sasori!" A voice of a girl called.

"Been a long time since I saw your hair down, Kikara." Sasori stated and the girl stopped walking once she was in front of them.

"Yeah. We have a small problem."

"And what would that be?" Sasori arched an eyebrow as the others listened to their talk.

Kikara explained as she pointed at her back. "Your best friend Deidara has been scaring off people with his small explosion pranks and mouths painted at the palm of his hands though it was kinda funny with their reactions."

"Not to be mean or anything but why did you come here instead of Kira?" Ino asked and received a pinch from Sakura and gave her an expression that says 'Be nice.'

"She was suppose to but then she got her hands full." Kikara repositioned her gaze to the other direction in which Kira was holding Deidara off through his upper arms.

They could hear their voices from a far.

"Let me go Kira-chan!" Deidara protested.

"Not unless you stop scaring people." She warned with a glare.

"But Kira-chaaaan!"

"Well that's my cue." Sasori had enough of hearing his friend's protests then spoke before turning his back to leave. "This is Kikara by the way, Kira's friend."

"Hey!" Kikara waved her hand at the sight of the group. "I suppose we've all met before during club times right?"

"Oh yeah you were the one who helped us out, thanks for that." Naruto replied with his famous huge smile as he shook Kikara's hand. "I'm Naruto!"

Then they all met properly until Deidara whined while his bag full of explosives and firecrackers was being dragged out. Kira and Sasori was both having a hard time taking it out of the place. "This is unfair, un!"

A sweat dropped at Kikara's forehead and a sigh left her lips. "I guess I'll have to help them restrain Deidara and hide the explosives."

"You and Kira should hang out with us some time." Sakura suggested with joy.

"Yeah!" Ino added.

"It'll be fun!" Tenten supported.

"Sure, just contact us or just tell Sasori and we'll be there. Nice meeting you guys! Ja!" With that she ran off to help her friends.

"Tenten didn't tie her hair, pay up Ino-pig." Sakura's lips formed into an evil grin.

"Damnit. I thought you forgot about that." Ino passed her money to Sakura reluctantly.

Naruto overheard their talk and gasped actingly so that he would catch Sakura's and Ino's attention. "How dare you bet over your friend? That's rude!" He placed his hands at his waist as Sakura and Ino cocked an eyebrow at him.

He folded his arms as he clicked his tongue. "Tsk tsk tsk. And I thought you girls were-" Naruto averted his gaze to the main entrance, only to see Kiba with a girl."-HOLY CRAP KIBA HAS A DATE! PAY UP UCHIHA AND NARA!"

Naruto skipped happily to the two boys with Neji next to them. Sasuke carelessly give out his money and so did Shikamaru.

Once Naruto received his money, he laughed at Sasuke-who rolled his eyes-then went back to the girls.

"And you said betting on your friends is rude." Ino placed her hands at her hips and and raised an eyebrow at Naruto.

Naruto scratched the back of his head. "Hehe. Yeah about that-"

Naruto wasn't able to finish his sentence since Sakura already smacked him at the head, muttering a 'Baka.'

Then Sakura came towards Kiba who was wearing a tuxedo with black tie and left his chestnut hair a little messy. "Who are you and what have you done with Kiba? Kiba hates wearing formal stuff."

"Very funny Sakura."

"Well I have to admit, it suits you and I see you have a date." She waved and grinned once she caught sight of his 'friend.'

"You look dazzling in your dress." Kiba chuckled then showed the girl next to him. "Yeah, I want you to meet Ramaki Misa. She's my childhood friend but she goes to a different school."

(( No, she's a different Misa. She is NOT Sakura's maid. ))

The girl was wearing a gray sleeveless dress paired up with heels. She was wearing light make-up, silver earrings with the same silver style necklace. She also left her dark straight hair down.

"So this is Kiba's best friend?" Misa questioned as she shook Sakura's hand. "Nice meeting you Sakura, just call me Misa."

"Just call me Sakura then." Sakura smiled as she went near  Kiba. "Kiba can I let her meet the other girls? The boys are already on their way here."

Kiba, who understood her point that Misa might get out of place, agreed. "Misa, stay with Sakura first. You'll meet our other friends."

Misa just nodded and Sakura grabbed her wrist. "Come on, I'll introduce you to our friends."

When Sakura was about to show Misa to her friends, Gaara came in front of her with a girl.

"Woah are you sure you're Gaara?" Sakura replied, staring at the red head who wore a black suit.

She has to admit, all of her guy friends look more than good in their tuxedos.

"Are you sure you're Sakura?"

Sakura stuck her tongue out. "Touché."

Gaara sent a simper at his expression. "This is Tsukishima Ai, she's my best friend from Suna."

Ai was wearing a white sleeveless dress with blue cardigan as her black hair was left down too. She wore blue pair of closed-shoes as she held her sling bag at the side.

"Hi Sakura-chan! Thank you for keeping my friend company here at Konoha." Ai smiled, nudging Gaara at the shoulder and if you have a microscope, you could see a hint of red at Gaara's cheeks.

"Hey and it's no problem. Nice to meet you, Ai-chan. This is Ramaki Misa, Kiba's date." Sakura pointed at Misa who was beside her as they all shook hands.

"Hello you may address me as Misa."

"Ah Nice meeting you, Misa-chan!" Ai sent a smile and so did Misa.

"Sakura, can you let Ai meet Ino and the others? Naruto has been calling me to go to the boys for a while now."

"Sure! I was about to introduce Misa to them anyways. Let's go!"

Gaara left to the boys as Misa and Ai were with Sakura.

"Our friends are mixed up with boys and girls also with different styles."

"Different styles?" Misa questioned Sakura as she continued to drag the two girls, not that literally.

"Why? Are some of the boys gay?" Ai had her eyes wide open in the thought of it.

Sakura burst laughing then stopped in a little while. "Nope, you'll understand ones you meet them."

Tenten shifted her head to Sakura. "Hey! Who they?" She tilted her head towards Sakura's back, revealing Ai and Misa.

Sakura went next to the two girls. "Girls, I am proud to introduce Kiba's date, Ramaki Misa." The pinketter continued while she point at her friends. "She is Sabaku Temari, the brunette is Tenten, just Tenten. The one with braided hair is Hyuuga Hinata and lastly, the one who designed our dresses and my best friend, Yamanaka Ino."

Misa gasped. "You design dresses?"

Ino nodded with a proud smile. "Omg! Did you match those heels with that dress? Girl, you are born with good fashion sense."

Misa thanked Ino as the others shook hands in greeting.

"I am also proud to introduce Gaara's date, Tsukishima Ai."

"Ai?"

"Tema-chan!" Ai glomped Temari into a hug.

Temari stepped back to catch her balance due to sudden weight. "Haven't seen you in a while. How are you?"

"I've been doing good. I just came here with Ki-nii san!" Ai released her grip on Temari's body.

Temari was bewildered at what she heard. "Ki is here?!"

"I sense a crush coming on." Sakura whispered to the other girls, careful not to let Temari hear.

"Observant as ever forehead." Ino smiled deviously.

"Matchmake?" Tenten moved over a bit to them.

Hinata nodded, to which the girls consented.

"I don't mean to be 'feeling close' but can I join?" Misa shyly asked with a lot of hesitations.

"Feeling close? why would you be feeling close?" Tenten lifted an eyebrow.

Hinata supported Tenten's sentence. "I agree with Tenten-chan."

"You and Ai are practically a part of the group now." Ino stated as a matter-of-a-fact tone.

Sakura patted her shoulder lightly. "If you're Kiba's friend, you are also our friend."

With all those replies, Misa grinned widely as thanks.

"Yeah! Ki-nii san is right over there with Kankuro." Ai pointed over the boys side at a certain boy who has the same dark hair as Ai's and was wearing a tuxedo like the other boys.

The other girls also looked at the direction and gaped.

"Woah Temari, didn't know you have a guy in mind."

Temari blushed though tried to hide it but failed miserably. "That's a lie!"

"She likes Ki-nii san ever since they got close due to our fanily ties."Ai whispered to them.

Tsukishima clan were like a family to the Sabaku due to their friendship.

"I guess there's no point in hiding." Temari shrugged sadly as she glanced to Ki.

"Why do you look gloomy, Temari-chan?" Hinata asked helding her shoulder.

"Because you probably don't like Ki..."

"You kidding?" Tenten questioned in disbelief.

"Why would we not like him?" Sakura added to Temari's opinion.

Ino pin-pointed the fact much to Temari's surprise. "Girl, he's hot! And from the looks of it he seems to be happy along with Naruto and the others so he's alright."

"Thanks." She beamed.

"Well aren't you girls beautiful." A fanboy slung his arms around Tenten and Ino.

A bunch of fanboys came to them and flirted with their arms hangung around the girls' shoulders including Ai and Misa.

"Hey hot shot wanna go out with me?"

"Well well look who we have here. A couple of angels I suppose."

"Did it hurt when you girlss fell from heaven?"

"Is it hot in here or is it just me?"

"You guys obviously suck at flirting and your cheesy lines are sooo fifty years ago." Ino said with a sicken tone as she looked to the last guy who hasn't said anything. "Do you have anything to add?"

The boy placed his hands on his pockets, elevated his shoulders and tilted his head with a cute pout.

That was supposed to be his action but it ended up like this: hands in pockets, shoulders slumped up making his posture like a hunchback, his pout looked more of a straight line and instead of winking, his eyes twitched.

(( If you watch/ed HIMYM then you probably know that part from season 1 or 2 when Marshall was asking the girl at the coffee place and he failed the flirting/asking her out part lol ))

Ino just rolled her eyes mentally as more flirts came up to them.

Then a fanboy managed to get Sakura and held her at her waist as he pulled her closer to him and their face inches only apart. "Baby let's go somewhere quiet." He winked seductively which made Sakura pissed and pushed him off.

"Hey!"

Sakura's friends shouted but they were being blocked by other fanboys who proceeded to flirt even though their charms doesn't work on them.

Sakura was about to ditch and give the man a slap but he snatched her wrist to avoid from leaving. "Get away from me you pervert!"

"Come on you know you want me."

Then Sakura slapped him hard at his left cheek, causing him to smile in satisfaction.

"Feisty. I like it." The fanboy locked Sakura so it was hard for her to break through even though she was squirming to get out.

"Back off." An unknown voice came from his back.

Over at the Boys...

After Sasori successfully hid Deidara's explosives, he and Deidara went to the boys side and saw that Kiba was already there along with the others so was Gaara and Kankuro. The other boys were Sasuke, Neji, Naruto, Shikamaru and Ki-who is unknown to the two seniors.

"Hey who's this?" Sasori scooted over the group with Deidara trailing behind.

"Our friend from Suna." Gaara answered.

"Tsukishima Ki, nice to meet you." The boy with dark hair, the same as Ai's, released his hand for a hand shake greeting.

Deidara quickly accepted hia hand shake before Sasori could even move his hand. "Same here. Call me Deidara, un!" Then he let go of his grip.

"Sasori." He nodded as they shook hands.

"So you finally had the guts to ask her to prom?" Neji reffered to Misa in asking Kiba.

"Yeah thanks for the motivation."

Neji gave a slight nod as 'Welcome.'

"Wait, who are we talking about here, un?"

"Her." Shikamaru pointed at Misa who was at the girl's area.

"She's hot." Kankuro acknowledged who earned a glare from Kiba but he just lifted his hands innocently.

"Who's the girl next to Temari? I haven't seen her before." Naruto childishly questioned

"Gaara's date." A simper crossed Sasuke's lips sort of a teasing mannner.

"Nice pick." Sasori commented.

"Hey that's my sister!" Ki taunted with an overprotective expression.

"Don't worry Gaara she's all yours." Sasori responded which made Gaara flinch and Ki calm a little at least she's with a person he trusted. "Most of us has another girl in mind or taken, like me."

"By who? Your stalkers?" The said-soon-to-be-hokage joked as he laughed, annoying Sasori once again.

Then once again, he received a hurtful punch along with a glare so he just rubbed his cheek sheepishly to where he had hit him and nervously shut his mouth.

"Does this mean you asked Kira-senpai to be your girlfriend?" Neji questioned to which Sasori nodded.

"How did you ask her?" The lazy genius became interested.

>>FLASHBACK<<

Sasori and Kira were both at the cherry blosson pathways. School classes ended a while ago and the sun began to set. They were the only students left.

Being seniors, they were both assigned at the prom preparations along with their friends though their friends left earlier than them due to parent's orders.

Dashes of crimson was mixed with yellow streaks forming an orange sky as the clouds roam. Cherry blossom petals flew down to the ground while the branches sway.

"Damn, I'm tired." Kira sighed as she sat down at one of the benches next to a Sakura tree, dropping her bag beside her.

Sasori removed his backpack from his shoulders and lend it down. "You've been organizing the arrangements and decorations for more than a week. Of course you will be tired."

"I don't even know if I had everything finished." She covered her eyes using her right arm as her back leaned at the chair.

"Do you have a dress?"

"Well sh*t."

Sasori chuckled at his friend's response. "Just ask Kikara to come with you tomorrow. The prom is three days away."

"Yeah."

After a while Sasori dug into his bag though Kira ignored the ruffling sounds and continued resting.

"Here."

Kira sat up quickly and blinked to adjust her eyesight. Once her vision was cleared, she saw a box wrapped in a cloth and the only way to open it was through unbuttoning. "What's this?"

"Advance Happy Birthday." He smiled as Kira held the gift from him. "Open it."

Kira grinned before unbuttoning the cloth, revealing a box of Macadamia chocolate which was her favorite. "You really know me, huh?"

Sasori shrugged with his lips curved up.

"Thank you, Sasori." She replied and felt a rough part at the other side of the cloth. She turned the cloth and gasped mentally.

The red thread shows the word 'PROM?' marked at the white cloth.

Kira nodded. "Yes, I'll go to prom with you." She hugged Sasori and he just patted her back which Kira was kind of disappointed at the movement.

"Eat the chocolate." Sasori said or commanded, Kira gladly did so. It was her favorite after all.

She took off the lid and she claimed two chocolates, she noticed a mysterious writing below the chocolates so she removed all the chocolate bars and read the writing which she was caught surprised.

'Will you be my girlfriend?

"Hitting two birds with one stone?" Kira looked up to a smirking Sasori who nodded.

She just pinched the bridge of his nose and wrapped her arms around him as he snaked his around Kira's waist then she placed a peck on his cheek. "You already know my answer."

"You're mine and I'm yours." He whispered near her ear as she tightened her hug.

"Definitely."

"Nice one, dattebayo!"

"Creative." Sasuke muttered.

"Speaking of which, Sasuke how did you ask Sakura to prom?" Gaara asked, backfiring Sasuke about what he said earlier pertaining to Ai as his date.

Also since Sakura did have a close bond with him, more of a brother-sister relationship though, like Naruto.

So they were quite protective towards Sakura, but no one can beat Neji's overprotectiveness towards his cousin Hinata.

All of the boys-in there spot- were interested in the topic since the Uchiha was rarely up to romance.

"Yeah how did you ask Sakura Sasuke?" Kiba, being the best bud, also has protectiveness towards Sakura.

Guess Sakura has body  guards even though she doesn't know.

"Sasuke code 10."

"So Sakura's the girl you had in mind since you were young but kept in denial?" Sasori asked with a hint of experience.

Sasuke shot a glare and cocked an eyebrow at the same time. "How the hell did-"

"You said before that you were going to use the codes to only one girl and that's the girl you're going to marry in the future." Sasori stated like he was the smartest man in the world that won an oscar.

The boys mumbled an 'ooo' sound since Sasuke caught red-handed by a red-head.

"Clever."

"Uhh sorry to interrupt but what's Sasuke code 10 exactly?" Ki questioned, he was just new to the group so of course he has no idea.

Gaara explained to Ki silently then Ki chuckled. "Wise choice Sasuke."

He just simply nodded as thanks.

"How about Sasuke code 38? That seems kinda cool." Kankuro added his perspective.

"Well at least someone agrees." Shikamaru commented.

Then Gaara told Ki what Sasuke code 38 is.

Neji covered up for Sasuke. "The Uchiha said he'll save it for the future." He hifted his eyebrows teasingly as the other boys got his message.

According to Neji's body language, Sasuke was going to do Sasuke code 38 to Sakura in one of the following days.

Ki, who now knows the code 38, answered. "Code 38 seems romantic."

"Good luck on that then Sasuke." Kiba patted his shoulder.

"So Naruto how did you ask Hinata un?" Deidara joined.

"How did you know Hinata's my date?"

"It's obvious you like her dobe."

"Really?!"

They all nodded or mumbled a 'Yeah' even Ki noticed, who just met them on that day.

Naruto sulked at the other direction.

"He asked her out at ramen stand then..." Neji was the one who told the story. He may be protective over Hinata but he trusts Naruto though if he hurts her, he will have some SERIOUS business to take care of.

Gaara admitted that it was somehow originative.

"Yeah." Ki consented and so did the others.

"That was smart..."

"Aww thanks Kiba!" Naruto smiled widely.

"...for a moron." Kiba laughed as he bumped fists wih Sasuke.

Anime veins popped at Naruto's head. "Well at least I didn't ask her out to cloud-gazing!" Naruto defended with his arms filded and a pout.

"You asked Ino through cloud-gazing?!" Kankuro questioned as Shikamaru rolled his eyes.

He exhaled heavily. "What a drag."

"I guess you better get going, your dates got their hands full, un." Deidara warned as he pointed to the boys who were walking towards the girls.

The guys had their clenched fists and angry expressions on while they move to the other side where their dates were even Ki joined since his sister was one of the victims.

The fanboys were using lame cheesy lines as they crowded Ino, Hinata, Tenten, Temari, Ai and Misa.

Talk about fangirls.

From afar, they could hear their voices. Hinata, Temari, Ai and Misa shoving off the fanboys. Ino muttering on how stupid their flirt was and if you look closely, you could see Tenten tempting to grab her kunai or shuriken so that she could give a good trip to the hospital for the fanboys.

"Baby let's go somewhere quiet."

Sasuke was on the lead when he heard the man who said that and he was also ready for a fight.

"Hey!" The other girls were ordering the fanboy with Sakura to stop since his 'flirting' is getting out of hand. Even though it was prom, the other people didn't seem to mind them due to the loud music and they thought that they were just playing.

"Get away from me you pervert!" Sakura grimaced.

"Come on you know you want me."

Then Sakura slapped him hard at his left cheek.

"Feisty. I like it." The fanboy said, trapping Sakura.

"Back off."

With just two words, the fanboys and the girls looked to the owner of that voice excluding Sakura since she was locked plus her back was facing to the one who spoke.

Although she could see the girls mouth gaped in surprise so she could take a wild guess on who it was.

"And who are you to tell me what to do?" The fanboy asked rather harshly as he turned Sakura.

Now she knows who it was.

"Dude don't you know who that is?!"

"That's Uchiha Sasuke!"

"Move if you still wanna live!"

The other fanboys stepped back once their gaze met a mad Shikamaru, a glaring Neji, Naruto with an evil smile, Kiba cracking his knuckles, Ki fists ready to punch, Gaara itching to kill and Sasuke looking ticked off, having glint of fury in his eyes.

"I said back off." Sasuke stated in a deeper tone.

The scaredy-cats ran off like their life depended on it. Well their life could be in jeopardy if they stayed.

The fanboy felt challenging since Uchihas are the top clan in Konoha. "So what, if you're an Uchiha? That doesn't automati-"

He wasn't able to finish what he was going to say because he lost consciousness due to Sasuke's attack.

Well that was easy. The fanboy was knocked out by just one punch. How fun.

The fanboy's friends dragged him out of the place. He didn't know Sasuke so he was 100% am outsider.

"Thanks." Sakura grinned slightly at Sasuke who just nodded.

"Are you girls okay?" Kiba questioned as Sasuke and Sakura walked over to them.

The girls mumbled a 'Yeah.'

And to add, all of them are jealousy types.

"Except the fact that they suck at flirting." Ino rolled her baby blue orbs.

"I think we should take our seats now. Gai-sensei's coming up." Naruto stated, breaking the awkward silence.

In an instant, they sat at one of the biggest tables due to their number.

The people who were scattered before were now at their assigned seats.

Gai, who was wearing his usual orange leg warmers and green tight suit added a bowtie to his outfit, went up the stage and proceeded after checking the microphone. "Welcome my youthful students, teachers and visitors to the this year's youthful annual prom with the theme Gods and Godesses!"

Claps and cheers were released after Gai had spoken.

"It is indeed a youthful nig-" He paused when his vision turned to his favorite student, Rock Lee, who came in from the entrance. "Lee!"

He dropped the microphone, erupting an ear-defeaning sound as the noise halted after a few seconds but that didn't stop the two knuckleheads.

"Gai-sensei!"

"Lee!"

Gai and Rock Lee were both in slow motion as they ran unhurriedly to each other with wide-open arms.

"Gai-sensei!"

"Lee!"

"Gai-sensei!"

"Lee!"

"Gai-sensei!"

Did I mention that they were crying? By this point, all of the student body had their palms at their foreheads. If not, their heads are banged at the table in front of them.

"Lee!"

"Gai-sensei!"

"Lee!"

"Gai-sensei!"

Wait is that sparkles?

"Lee!"

"Gai-sensei!"

"CUT IT OUT!" An irritated voice shouted from the stage to which frightened the two men, knowing who the voice came from and startled the people though was thankful that someone finally stepped up and it was over.

Gai and Lee stopped and continued whatever it was outside.

The principal rubbed her temples before a grin swelled up her face. "Good evening to all, I apologize for the disturbance a while ago. After this announcement we will all be voting for the Prom King, Prom Queen, Prom Prince and Prom Princess. You may vote whoever you wish and whoever has the highest rate will be crowned as God, Goddess or Demi-gods. The God and Goddess are both for the senior batch while the two demi-gods are for the junior batch. You will all vote through the school's website. Just go to the certain Prom Royals and choose the name of your choice from the nominees then enter it to be count as vote. One rule, the person should be a Konoha High student. Clear?"

After Tsunade's speech, everyone agreed to her rules and decisions as they all nodded or said a 'Yes.' in unison as response.

How did they get the nominees? With the help of the students' opinions and the teachers needs to approve.

"Very well, you may now vote as the buffet area will be opened. Have a good evening everyone!" Tsunade turned off the microphone as they opened the silver lids, revealing the yummy-looking food with the scent of it filling up the extended room. The people rushed for the food as they made a straight line and voices echoed the room while people talk.

When they all sat back down and eat, Sakura was sitting next to Sasuke and Kiba on the other side. Hinata was still talking to Misa about random things and the others were chatting.

As soon as Ino was done eating her food, she was stuck on her phone while Tenten, Temari and Hinata would glance at their phones from time to time. Little did Sakura know that Ino already has a plan prepared for later or sooner.

Ki was now Temari's date and she explained who were the 'couples' in the group.

Sakura finished her salad and poked Kiba lightly to catch his attention. "Kiba."

Kiba swallowed the food in his mouth before answering as he snatch his glass of water. "Yeah?"

"How did you ask Misa to the prom?"

Upon hearing that question, Kiba almost sputtered his drink. "Why?" He coughed to prevent himself from choking.

Sakura shrugged. "Just wanna know."

"Well..." Kiba rubbed the nape of his neck as he started story-telling.

Misa was inside her house, typing at her laptop for her project when suddenly, she heard the doorbell.

She looked through the window and saw four balloons tied at the fence. She immediately went out of the house and opened the door. She was just wearing a simple t-shirt and dark shorts. She was just at home after all.

Her vision met a young man, now holding the balloons.

"K-Kiba?? What brings you here? Wait, come in." Misa stepped aside, enough space for Kiba to come in.

Kiba walked inside the house and Misa closed the door shut.

"Where's your parents?"

"Work." Misa mumbled as she sat beside Kiba on the couch. He just nodded in understanding and gave the balloons to her.

She took the strings out of Kiba's hands as she asked and grinned with a confused expression. "What are these for? Woah is that paper inside the balloons?"

"Just pop it and read what's inside." Kiba smiled.

"Aww but it's such a waste if I'll pop it."

"Either you pop those balloons and know what's inside or wait for the air to go out and curiosity will kill you. Your choice." He winked at her since she was trapped in a decision. It made her blush though she was lucky that Kiba didn't notice.

Misa sighed and grabbed her scissors. "Alright." She popped the balloons and caught all four papers.

She unfolded the papers and read the first to the last.

1st- 'Will you'
2nd- 'go to'
3rd- 'the prom'
4th- 'with me?'

She looked up to Kiba. "You know you just could've wrote 'PROM.'"

"Then there will be no originality."

Misa averted her gaze back to the papers then to Kiba as her beam widen. "This is so sweet Kiba!" She locked him into an embrace. "Of course I'll go to the prom with you, but why me? You have many girls at your school."

"Because I want only you to be my date." With that Kiba wrapped his arms around his beloved one.

"Never knew you have an intelligent mind." Sakura commented as she giggled, making Kiba chuckle then continue eating his food.

Sakura playfully pinched his nose. "By the way, I approve."

This is where Kiba nearly choked his food, literally.

Sakura mentally laughed though it was broke by Ino "Hey guys, who are you going to vote as Prom King and Queen?"

Naruto answered first. "I'll vote for Sasori and Kira." He mouthed the names so that only the ones on the table would know.

"Are they nominated?" Tenten questioned.

Kiba answered. "Most likely. Sasori has loads of fangirls."

"And a bunch of boys has crushes on Kira." Ino leaned back to her chair.

"W-Where did you get that information?" Hinata turned to her the blonde Yamanaka.

"I'm the gossip queen, duh."

Temari just raised an eyebrow.

"Okay okay, I got it from Kikara when we were lined up at the buffet and she told me that she secretly nominated Kira so I guess I'll be voting for the seniors."

"Well that's my choice too then." Sakura replied as they all came into an agreement. They were the only seniors that they have a close friendship anyways.

"What about Prom Prince and Prom Princess? Temari backed up Ino's question.

Tenten quaffed her water. "Well of course we all know who those will be." She said with a smug smile, making everyone understand except for Sakura, Naruto and the new members. Kiba explained to Misa, Gaara told to Ai, Temari answered to Ki and Hinata just whispered to Naruto. Sakura just ignored whatever it is and drank her refreshment.

They all grabbed their phones and chose the names of whoever they wanted to be the Prom royals. Even the guests were allowed to vote.

When they saw the names of the nominees, excluding Sakura, they all had smug expressions plastered on their faces as they understand what Ino, Tenten, Hinata and Temari were talking about a while ago.

Sakura just voted for Sasori and Kira. She didn't bother to vote for her batch. She already knows that Ino and Sasuke would be the winners. Heck, even Tenten or Kiba could win. So once she was done voting with the seniors, she shut her phone back to her bag.

Once they were done and the dessert stall was now open, the dance floor was also open for the people.

Just as the girls' song played, Ino quickly jumped up and called her friends. "Let's dance girls!" She didn't bother to ask the boys since their answer would obviously be a 'No.'

Ai excused herself because she needs to go to the ladies' room and Temari kept her company then they will join them afterwards. Misa said that she'll check over the desserts area and will go to them once she's done.

"Let's go!" Sakura stood up while Ino pulled her hand as Sakura snatched Hinata's hand who took Tenten's hand and they scooted over to the center of the floor tiles that has flickering lights.

They danced first with their  friends ever since childhood.

"First prom, first dance with my first and only best friends!" Ino grabbed the three girls into a squeezing hug.

"Who knew the school could be a party place?" Hinata commented as she giggled.

"This is so weird! I don't even know how to dance!" Tenten shouted so that her friends could hear her through the party music.

"Just play along!" Sakura yelled back and kept on dancing like she was a party girl.

The three girls followed her hyper mood and soon the other girls with the boys came to them.

They danced into the beat of the music randomly, like they were crazy lunatics but hey it's prom right? Forget about popularity ranks and everything. Just enjoy.

About an hour has passed and they got worn out. Just as they got tired of dancing, they all retreated back to their table because Tsunade went up to the stage.

"Having fun?"

"Yeah!" The students and guests replied happily

"Good. Well, as you all know you've already voted for the Prom royals and now I am going to announce who has the most votes." Tsunade brought out a gadget. "First, the Prom Prince for this year's prom as demi-god...Uchiha Sasuke!"

Fangirls' squeals echoed the gym as Sasuke-with no emotion-went up to the stage. He was given a silver crown and gave a sash 'Prom Prince' written on it.

He sat on one of the thrones at the center of the stage as Tsunade continued. "The partner of Uchiha Sasuke as the prom princess and the other demi-god, Haru...

...Shikume!"

All of the students were speechless. Especially Ino, Tenten, Temari, Hinata, Neji, Shikamaru, Naruto and Kiba who secretly created a plan and their jaws were dropped.

Haru Shikume, also known as Sasuke's new fanclub president when Karin backed out, screamed in happiness and Sasuke grunted but also somewhat surprised.

Just as Tsunade was about to crown her as prom princess and give her the sash, Kakashi went up to the stage and whispered something to Tsunade. He tilted his head to the side, making Tsunade and the people look towards the entrance where Gai and Yamato were holding a nerd with a computer.

Tsunade nodded and spoke through the microphone. "It seems that the Haru Shikume cheated through the votes."

Gasps were heard as Haru Shikume complained. "How dare you tell them?!"

"Sucks for you." The nerd shouted back as Kakashi brought the two out of the premises.

Tsunade cleared her throat.  "Don't worry, Shou ((the nerd)) knew who was the rightful prom princess before he hacked into the votes. So, Uchiha Sasuke's partner as demi-god and this year's prom princess is...

...Haruno Sakura!"

Whistles and claps surrounded Sakura as she had a confused expression. "I didn't nomina-"

"Just go have fun forehead!" Ino winked at her best friend.

Then Sakura just smiled and proceeded to the stage.

Her mentor proudly placed a silver tiara above her head as she wore the sash with 'Prom Princess' written around her and sat beside Sasuke's throne.

"You're my prince, huh?" Sakura joked as she chuckled.

Sasuke just gave a simper. "And you're my princess."

Upon hearing his response and realization came, Sakura flushed into deep shades of crimson.

"...and this year's Prom King or God of the night, Masashi Sasori!"

The girls screamed and the boys clapped as Sasori made his way to the stage. Tsunade gave him a gold crown and a sash that says 'Prom King' also known as God of the night as he sat at a bigger throne next to Sakura.

"Congrats." Sakura sent her sweet grin.

"Likewise." Sasori replied. A couple of seconds passed when Sasori decided to continue the conversation. "You and Sasuke seem to be a nice couple."

That caught Sakura off guard.

"...I'm proud to announce this year's Prom Queen or Goddess of the night, Yukomo Kira!"

The crowd cheered with claps, whistles and compliments.

"Wait what? How did I get-" Kira stopped in realization. "Kikara!"

"Enjoy!" Kikara pushed Kira's back a little as Kira walked up the stage.

Kira moved to Tsunade and gave her a gold crown with a sash. She congratulated her before she goes to her throne, like what Tsunade did to the others.

"Same with you and Kira." Sakura whispered back, making Sasori grin.

"Well played." He remarked before talking to Kira and Sakura chose to talk to her date.

"So, did you know that I was nominated?"

"Not until I voted." Sasuke honestly answered.

"Give a round of applause for the Prom Royals!" The people clapped along with whistles while Tsunade carried on. "Uchiha Sasuke and Haruno Sakura as the Demi-gods of the night, Masashi Sasori as the God of the night and Yukomo Kira as the Goddess of the night!"

The four winners stood up and bowed.

"Any message?" Tsunade handed the microphone to the God of the night.

Sasori accepted the offer. "I suppose I should say thank you for voting and I would like you all to meet my girlfriend, Yukomo Kira also, the Goddess of the night." With that he grabbed Kira and crashed his lips with hers.

The students took pictures and cheered louder.

When they let go of each other, Tsunade spoke. "Alright Sasori, you're forgiven for that since it's a special occasion but just this once. Now, make room for the Prom royal's dance though couples may join."

"SASOKIRA!"

"It's the seniors' best couple!"

"WAY TO GO SASORI!"

"No way this has got to be a dream!"

"Look, the juniors' famous lovebirds!"

"SASUSAKUUU!"

The crowd cheered for them as four walked down the stage, heading to the dance floor which the song started to play.

Sasori placed his hands at her waist and Kira hung her hands over Sasori's neck.

Suddenly, curiosity hit Kira. "Well that was unexpecting. First time you kissed a girl?"

"You have no idea."

"That's why I'm asking, you jerk." She playfully punch his cheek.

Sasori pouted. "Too bad."

Kira then stumped his foot while stucking her tongue out as Sasori just smirked at his girlfriend's action. This is why he has interest in her. She's different.

"Can I just enjoy this dance with my girlfriend?"

Kira smiled and nodded.

They just proceeded dancing along with the music, being happy with their partner.

Just as the song started, Sakura propped her palms at the back of her partner's neck as he guided his hands to her waist.

Other people began coupling up too and Ki was the first to drag Temari to the dance floor.

Without an answer, Neji grabbed Tenten to the dance floor as they swift to the melody of the music.

Naruto also snatched Hinata as they vanished into the crowd, still holding hands until they found a perfect spot then they slow danced.

Kiba asked Misa to dance as she gladly accepted, they moved their body slowly and enjoyed the moment of their own. It probably was a good thing to ask his crush to prom that Neji was talking about.

Ai pulled Gaara to the dance floor as they stare at each other. It ended up pretty sweet since he did enjoy hanging out with his best friend.

Sasuke and Sakura both stared at each other, mesmerized by their partner's looks.

"What is the reason that you chose me? I only caused you trouble. Do you know you're my miracle?" Sakura thought as the two were stuck in their gaze, staring each other just like a statue.

Their souls were frozen inside, lost for words, body swaying slowly as their hearts jumped in speed.

It was a slow dance and Sakura thought it would be awkward if she would ask why did he pick her as a date so she left it aside as they swayed together in the beat of the music, still looking straight into each other's eyes.

Sakura gave her warm smile. "Since when did Uchiha Sasuke learned how to dance?"

"My mother."

"To be honest, I've never danced with a guy like this before." Sakura said truthfully, red tint covering up her cheeks.

Sasuke was somehow glad to hear that he was her first partner to a dance. And so was his. "Same."

Sakura's cheeks darkened into crimson as Sasuke smirked.

Asuma and Kakashi, both wearing their formal attire, talked as they glanced at the couples dancing at the dance floor.

"Young love, eh?" Asuma smiled at his students.

Kakashi just nodded in seeing most of his homeroom class with partners. He happily grinned at the sight.

Asuma chuckled. "Reminds me the good old days."

Then two women came up to them. Kurenai snatched Asuma's wrist to the dance floor. "Just like the old times, ne?"

The second girl just stayed with Kakashi.

"Care to dance, Hanare?" Kakashi asked at the girl accepted his hand, walking to the dance floor.

Not only students can enjoy the prom.

But this is definitely the night that they will all treasure.

Silence echoed but Sasuke and Sakura didn't mind. Their foreheads lean on each other, tips of their nose touching, eyes shut and of course with grins on their faces, still hanging Sakura's hands on Sasuke's neck and Sasuke shielding Sakura's waist protectively or maybe possessively.

Realization came to Sasuke. This was his chance. He can finally tell her.

With this thought, his lips curved up. "Sakura, I-"

BOOM!

All were startled at the sudden noise though were amazed once they went out of the gym and looked up. Different sparks of light erupted the sky. The fireworks were being blown and once again,...

"Deidara! I told you too keep away from the explosives!"

"But it's so much fun, un!"

...Uchiha Sasuke's moment was interrupted-again.

Sasuke's hand never left Sakura's waist when they watched the fireworks from above which made her heat up.

When the fireworks were gone and the show was over, the song played again and more couples crowded the dance floor as they all went back to the gym.

Starting from that, they never spoke. They just let their body sway as their hands stay at place to where it was before. The only difference is that Sakura's head was resting at Sasuke's chest, eyes closed with a grin. Sasuke simpered, eyes sealed.

Ino secretly took a picture of them at her camera then to her other friends who were with their dates. Guess she did have a reason to bring that thing after all. Then, she forced Shikamaru to dance with her while he muttered a 'Troublesome.' but did so.
