Weapons. I often end up just throwing a weapon into my characters' hands/paws and assume the rest of the population has similar weapons. The most common I use is a knife/dagger or sword. For some reason, I never consider archery or even no weapons like physical combat. Heck, maybe my character is a wrestler lol

Weapons don't only reflect the culture or beliefs of your world (such as perhaps having a weapon goes against a religion etc.), but they also reflect the extent of technological advancement and the political stance of either your character or their species.
