Over the Hills and Far Away is an EP recorded by Finnish metal band Nightwish in 2001. The title track is a cover of a song by Irish singer Gary Moore. The EP also features to original songs, "10th Man Down" and "Away", as well as a re-recording of the song "Astral Romance" from the band's first album Angels Fall First, with guest vocals from Tony Kakko, the lead singer of the Finnish power metal band Sonata Arctica.
Over the Hills and Far Away was the band's last release to feature bassist Sami Vanska, as he was fired that same year over creative differences with Tuomas Holopainen.
