From 6.01 "I'll Remember", in the woods, Eliza stood at the shrines of tree stumps that everyone had made when Bonnie and Lindsey were on the Other Side, for their funeral. She sat done on the edge of the tree, taking a drink.

Caroline stood in the edge of the tree line, watching her sadly but keeping her distance.

Alex: (voice over from 6.01 I'll Remember) "We just lost three of our closest friends."

From 6.01 "I'll Remember", in her car, Elena was on the phone. "I need you to give me hope."

Stefan was standing in the kitchen of a house. "Damon's gone. You need to say goodbye, too."

WHEN ALL IS LOST

From 6.01 "I'll Remember", in a house, Nicola sat a dining room table sadly, looking at a picture of her, Stefan, Damon and Kaylin on her phone, crying silently.

From 6.01 "I'll Remember", in a street, Kaylin was looking at the same picture that Nicola was looking at on her phone, looking down sadly.

Alex: (voice over from 6.01 I'll Remember) "We need each other."

From 6.01 "I'll Remember", just outside of Mystic Falls, Tory and Lindsey were standing together, having their eyes closed in concentration, trying a spell on the border.

Liv, Cristian, Ryan and Luke sat back, watching them.

Alex: (voice over from 6.01 I'll Remember) "We need to be together."

From 6.01 "I'll Remember", in the study of the Lockwood Mansion, Matt noticed some of the herbs that Bonnie, Lindsey and Tory had given to Kacie when she had been sired to Klaus for momentary freedom. He picked the pouch up, holding it to his chest, remembering the first time they had tried them together in that very room. He started to cry.

Jeremy stood in the doorway of the room, looking at Matt in sympathy.

Alex: (voice over from 6.01 I'll Remember) "Because I am not going to give up on us."

From 6.01 "I'll Remember", in the girls' dorm room, Elena pushed Lucas against the wall. "I need to see Damon."

BITE BACK

From 6.01 "I'll Remember", in a road, Elena bit a girl on the neck. 

From 6.01 "I'll Remember", in Town Square, Matt was fighting in a crowd, defending against his opponent.

Elena: (voice over from 6.01 I'll Remember) "Mystic Falls is still off-limits to anyone with fangs."

From 6.01 "I'll Remember", in the study of Cristian's House, Liv and Cristian were talking.

"The only people who are working on the anti-magic counter-spell are you, me, Tory and Lindsey, so we can go home," Liv told him.

Cristian handed her a drink. "And we will. I want our town back just as much as you do."

From 6.01 "I'll Remember", in a town square, Kaylin was on the phone with Nicola.

"You said that you had someone helping you?" Nicola asked.

Kaylin looked across the square. "Yep. You won't like who, baby vamp."

They hung up.

Enzo had his hands on Kaylin's waist.

Kaylin grabbed his wrists, taking his hands away, turning to face him. "And I told you that this..." She leaned closer, kissing him slowly. After a moment, she pulled away, opening her eyes to look up at him with a smirk. "Has no strings attached."

From 6.01 "I'll Remember", in Alaric's classroom, Alaric and Alex were talking.

Alex sighed, turning toward Alaric. "How's Stefan? He didn't say goodbye."

From 6.01 "I'll Remember", on campus, Ryan wrapped an arm around Lindsey's waist.

Lindsey looked at Ryan, smiling, pulling a glow necklace around her neck. They kissed.

Tyler was standing with them, looking behind them toward Alex and Nicola.

Alex was talking distinctly.

Nicola was only half paying attention, looking toward Ryan, Lindsey and Tyler.

Nicola looked at Tyler, realizing he was looking at her, standing, turning around, giving her beer to Alex, walking away, leaving. 

From 6.01 "I'll Remember", in the dorm building, Tyler and Nicola were talking.

"Every time that somebody mentions Kacie, you just close off, like you're guilty for something that you didn't do," Tyler told her. "It was my fault that she died. Julian killed her while he was inside of my body. I killed her." 

"It was my fault she went after you," Nicola told him. She had tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry."

From 6.01 "I'll Remember", in the Lockwood Mansion, Jeremy and Eliza were sitting on the couch, making out.

From 6.01 "I'll Remember", in a basement, Luke and Tory stood together, kissing slowly and passionately. Luke pulled her into his arms. Tory sighed, leaning her head against his chest.

From 6.01 "I'll Remember", in a road, Liv was standing on the road, on the phone. "Do you know Elena has some witchy drug problem?"

From 6.01 "I'll Remember", in the Salvatore Mausoleum, Elena pulled out a small pouch containing spices and herbs from her pocket, pouring them into a small bowl, starting to crush them.

Liv: (voice over from 6.01 I'll Remember) "That allows her to hallucinate Damon."

Damon appeared. "Elena... move on."
