From 3.05 "Frayed", in the warehouse, the floor was crumbling.

Stiles: (voice over) "Previously on Worlds Colliding (Teen Wolf)"

Ennis and Derek fell over the edge of the falling floor.

Scott: (voice over from 3.05 Frayed) "I can't believe Derek's dead."

From 3.05 "Frayed", in the study of the Argent Apartment, Chris and Allison were talking.

"We stay out of it," Chris told her.

From 3.05 "Frayed", in the warehouse, everyone was fighting.

Allison: (voice over from 3.05 Frayed) "They're trying to kill my friends."

From 3.05 "Frayed", in the study of the Argent Apartment, Chris and Allison were talking.

"How do I stay out of that?" Allison asked.

From 3.05 "Frayed", in the hallway of the Argent Apartment, Allison walked out into the hall.

Stacie was leaning against the wall. "I take it he said no."

"Yep," Allison answered, walking past her.

"But you're not gonna listen, are you?" Stacie asked, following her.

"Nope," Allison answered, turning toward her. "And you're gonna help me."

Allison smiled, grabbing the crossbow from the table next to her, tossing it to Stacie.

Stacie smiled, catching it.

Allison picked up her bow, smiling.

Stacie smiled.

From 3.05 "Frayed", in the warehouse, Allison aimed her bow toward the Alphas, letting the arrow loose. The flashbolt landed in the concrete of the floor, exploding.

Everyone looked toward Allison, with her bow held toward them, her hair in a bun.

Stacie stood next to her, biting her lip, having her crossbow, her hair in a braid.

Scott and Ari stood a few feet apart, looking at them in absolute shock. "Stacie?"

Derek looked up, looking at Stacie in shock.

Stacie smirked.

Ennis looked at Tara below him, raising his left arm to slash toward her, to kill her.

Stacie raised her crossbow, shooting a flashbolt into Ennis' right shoulder.

The flashbolt exploded in his shoulder, causing him to stop.

From 2.02 "Shape Shifted", in the kitchen of the Lahey House, Isaac knelt over Natalie, acting as a shield for the glass showering over their heads.

Tara: (voice over from 2.09 Party Guessed)"Your father locked both of you in a freezer to punish you."

From 3.01 "Tattoos", in the freezer, Natalie screamed, trying to get out.

From 3.04 "Unleashed", in the freezer, Isaac screamed, trying to get out.

From 3.03 "Fireflies", in Lydia's room, Lydia and Stiles were talking.

Lydia looked at Stiles. "I have no clue how I ended up finding that body."

"So, you literally just showed up there," Stiles told her.

"Yeah," Lydia answered.

From 3.05 "Frayed", in the warehouse, Tara and Cora were standing on the escalators where Ennis and Derek had fallen.

Cora looked at Tara. "You don't really believe he's dead."

"You'd be surprised how many times we've both cheated death," Tara told her.

From 3.05 "Frayed", in the parking lot of the high school, Jennifer was in her car. Derek put his blood-stained hand on the window, making her gasp.

Derek fell to the ground outside.

Jennifer got out of the car, standing over him.

Flashback - 1977

Day - Motel - Outside

A man drove down the road in his truck, pulling into the Motel Glen Capri, the tires screeching as he pulled to a stop. He opened the door, stepping out side, limping on his right leg, blood stained on his hand as he reached into the bed of the truck, grabbing a black duffel bag, walking around his truck to walk toward the motel, walking past a newspaper machine.

The date on the newspaper read: March 5th, 1977

Upstairs, in the breeze way, the man unlocked the door, walking inside. The number on the door was 217.

¤

Later - Outside

Night

The moon was full in the sky, clouds rolling out of the way.

¤

Man's Motel Room - Bathroom

The man pulled his shirt above his side, revealing an Alpha bite. He lowered his shirt, looking into the mirror in front of him with a sigh.

  ¤

Main Room

The man looked toward the window, walking toward it, grabbing his bag, dropping it to the floor underneath the window. He pushed the curtains aside to see the full moon outside, turning around, sitting down on the floor, unzipping his bag, pulling out his shotgun. He pulled out his ID from his pocket, putting it on the floor. He pulled out a wolfsbane bullet, putting it into the shot gun, cocking it. He exhaled, raising the barrel to his chin. His eyes started to glow gold. "Nous chassons ceux qui nous chassent. [We hunt those who hunt us.]"

The man pulled the trigger.

The gunshot sounding as he ended his own life.

The man's ID read: Alexander Argent.

Outside, the parking lot was bare, deserted.

Now

Night - Glen Capri - Outside

(Song:) Your Man - Guards

The parking lot was bare, deserted.

The bus pulled in, letting each of the students outside.

Isaac, Boyd, Natalie, Allison, Lydia, Ari, Stacie, Scott and Stiles stood together in the crowd of the other students.

"Oh, my God," Stacie told them.

"I've seen worse," Scott told them.

"Where have you seen worse?" Stiles asked.

Coach blew the whistle, getting everyone's attention. "Listen up. The meet's been pushed until tomorrow. This is the closest motel with most vacancies and least amount of good judgement when it comes to accepting a bunch of degenerates like yourselves. You'll be pairing up. Choose wisely." Students walked forward, taking the keys from his hand. Coach turned to face them. "And I'll have no sexual perversions perpetrated by you little deviants. Got that? Keep your dirty little hands to your dirty little selves!" Natalie held Boyd's hand, smirking, walking past Coach. Coach noticed. "That means you, too, Natalie."

"Got it, Coach," Natalie told him. Natalie and Boyd continued on.  "That's what he thinks."

Boyd chuckled, both walking up the stairs. "Nice, Natalie."

Allison, Lydia, Ari and Stacie stood in front of the bus.

The bus drove away.

"Great," Ari told them.

Stacie swung a key around her finger. "Why so down, people?" She looked at Ari. "Oh, Ari, Scott and Stiles wanna discuss Killer Problems 3.0."

"Can't wait, Stacie," Ari told her sarcastically.

Allison smiled.

(Song Ends)

Allison, Ari and Stacie walked forward.

Lydia stood behind them, looking toward the motel hesitantly.

"Lydia?" Allison asked.

"I don't like this place," Lydia told them.

"No one likes this place," Ari told her.

Allison looked around. "I don't think the people who own this place like this place."

"No one in their right, stable, sane mind would like this place," Stacie agreed.

Ari looked toward Lydia. "It's just for tonight."

Lydia stared forward nervously. "A lot can happen in one night."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Scott looked up. He blinked. When he opened his eyes, they were glowing gold.

Scott levitated above the ground. Tyler Posey.

Allison was facing the side. She pulled up her bow, her face echoing, releasing the bow. Crystal Reed.

Hands reached up from the soil, reaching toward each other

Stiles stood next to his Jeep, walking forward. Dylan O'Brien

Stacie looked up, facing the right, a slow smile spreading across her face, in the track pose, her face echoing. She ran forward. Zoey Deutch

Ari and Adriana stood back to back. Ari looked to the left, holding her motorcycle helmet in her hands, her eyes glowing blue. Adriana looked to the right, tracing her double infinity tattoo on her wrist, her eyes glowing completely red. There was water sprinkles everywhere as they both looked up. Katherine McNamara.

Tara stood with her back toward you, looking over her shoulder, black blood covering her skin, her body reflecting each other. Victoria Justice.

On the back of Tara's hand, a triskele appeared. The spirals were black. The tip of one spiral was Beta blue. The tip of one spiral was Beta gold. The tip of one spiral was Alpha red. The intersection point was purple.

A black wolf howled.

Derek looked up, shirtless, his eyes closed, shifted, roaring, dust falling off of his body. Tyler Hoechlin.

A triskele appeared on Derek's back.

Lydia's hair covered her face, her hands held in front of her. She tossed her head back to get it to fall behind her head. Holland Roden

A double infinity sign tattoo appeared on Adriana's wrist.

Lydia's reflecting heads turned away from each other, screaming.

Two bands appeared over Scott's arm, the top band thicker than the other.

Tara's black blood covered body, her face hidden, reflected itself. She clawed a design into it across her stomach.

Scott stared ahead. His eyes glowed gold. He tilted his head down toward his chest.

Glen Capri - Scott and Stiles' Motel Room

Scott laid down on his bed, sighing.

Stiles was lying on his own bed. "All right, so I have four."

Stacie was standing nearby.

Ari was sitting in the chair closest to the window. "Four? You have four suspects?"

"Yeah," Stiles answered. "Seriously, like, ten. Well, six, technically, I guess. I added Derek on there twice. I have Tara on there, like, four times."

"Why do you have Tara on there four times?" Scott asked.

"Seriously?" Stiles asked. "Have you met Tara? Little girl has some serious anger and aggression issues to work on, and it wouldn't surprise me if she used murder as a way to do it."

Scott glared at him halfheartedly. "It's not Tara."

"Why are you defending a girl that hates us?" Stiles asked.

"Tara doesn't hate us," Scott told him. "She just... gets really angry and really annoyed very fast."

"That's not making Tara look any less like she's a murderer," Stiles told them.

"Who's really number one?" Ari asked. "Harris?"

"Just 'cause he's missing doesn't mean he's dead," Stiles told them.

"So, if he's not dead, our chemistry teacher is out secretly committing human sacrifices?" Ari asked.

"Yeah, I guess that sounded way better in my head," Stiles told them.

"Well, what if it's somebody at the school?" Scott asked. "Remember Matt? We didn't know that he was killing people."

Stacie was sitting in the chair closest to the door, standing. "Excuse me? Sorry, what? Uh, yes, we did. I called that from day one, actually."

"That, Stacie did," Ari agreed.

"Yeah, but we never seriously thought that it was him, Stacie," Scott told her.

"Oh, I was serious," Stacie told them. "I was quite serious, actually. Deadly serious. No one listened to me."

"And that's why they're here now," Stiles told them. "Stacie's always the one that guesses it right, and Ari's the one that applies the logic."

Ari looked at Stiles. "Who're the other three?"

"Derek and Tara's sister, Cora," Stiles answered. "No one knows anything about her, and she's Tara and Derek's sister." He looked at Scott. "Next, your boss."

"My boss?" Scott repeated.

"Yeah, your boss," Stiles told him. "I don't really like the whole Obi Wan thing he's got going on. You know, it freaks me out." Stacie, Ari and Scott stared blankly at him. Stiles sat up in surprise. "Oh, my God. Have you guys still not seen Star Wars?"

"I swear, if we make it back alive, I will watch the movie," Scott told them.

"I won't," Ari told them.

"It just makes me crazy--" Stiles started.

"Who's the last one?" Ari asked.

Stiles sighed. "Lydia."

"Lydia?" Ari repeated.

"She was totally controlled by Peter, and she had no idea, remember?" Stiles asked.

Stacie, Ari, Scott and Stiles sighed.

Scott and Stiles fell back onto their beds.

Stacie and Ari stood, walking toward the door.

"Wait," Scott told them. "Who do you think it is?"

Stacie sighed, turning to face him. "Are you really serious with the whole 'Stacie always guesses the right killer' thing?"

Ari, Scott and Stiles nodded. "Yes."

"Unless you want me to go back to being mad at you," Stiles told her.

Stacie hesitated, looking to the side. "Good point. Okay, uh..." She sat down in the chair next to the door, sighing, thinking. "None of the people on the list. Harris is definitely dead. Cora's sketchy but doesn't seem to be a killer since the full moon. Tara... I can see Tara killing someone, but I don't think it's Tara, mainly because when someone's killed, Tara's been with an alibi for more than a few hours. Then again, we all know how fast Tara can be and she'd definitely have the ability to do it, and all we'd need is a motive..."

"It's not Tara," Scott stressed.

"Okay, then, it's not Tara," Stacie told them. "Uh, Lydia?" She shook head. "Yeah, she's always finding the bodies, but... Think of it like we're in a horror movie. We've done that one, it's used and done for."

"And Cora and Tara would be too obvious killers," Ari pointed out.

Stacie gestured to her. "Exactly. We need to have someone no one would expect." She gave Stiles a weird look. "And why did you have Derek on there twice?"

"Well, uh--" Stiles cut himself off. "I have no idea. And why are you defending a dead guy?"

Stacie didn't answer, looking down. She stood, standing next to Ari. "That's all I got. You just had an episode of the 'Stacie and Ari: Human Detective and Werewolf Super Agent Special'. I'm Nancy Drew, she's Kim Possible. We don't know who, but no one on the list."

"Keep trying," Ari told them. "See you."

Ari opened the door, walking out of the room.

Stacie followed her, closing the door behind them.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Breeze Way

Ari and Stacie walked through the breeze way.

"What are you gonna do?" Stacie asked.

Ari unlocked their motel room, walking inside. "Sleep. I'm exhausted."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Stacie and Ari's Motel Room

Stacie walked inside, closing the door. "Having a fight with your psycho twin sister Adriana and her pack, not being able to heal afterward because of guilt will do that to you."

Ari looked at her. "Hey, Stace?"

"Yeah?" Stacie asked.

"Shut up, Stacie," Ari told her.

Stacie nodded awkwardly. "Yeah. Got it."

Ari shrugged out of her jacket, throwing it onto a chair.

Stacie walked toward the bathroom.

Ari laid on her bed, sighing, looking at the ceiling, closing her eyes.

Beacon Hills

Hale Loft - Living Room

Jennifer slid open the door, helping Derek inside. "Oh, God. This is a bad, very bad idea. I should be taking you to a hospital."

"No, no hospital," Derek told her.

"Derek, I can't..." Jennifer trailed off. "I can't hold you anymore. I'm losing you." Derek fell to the floor. "Derek?" Jennifer knelt next to him, her voice a whisper. "Derek. Derek... No, no, no."

Derek turned his head to the side weakly.

Glen Capri - Natalie and Boyd's Motel Room

(Song:) Like I'm Gonna Lose You - Meghan Trainer ft. John Legend

Boyd was sitting on the bed, gazing off unsteadily.

Natalie walked closer. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, Natalie," Boyd told her unconvincingly. Natalie tilted her head, obviously not believing him. Boyd exhaled. "I might have been thinking about Alicia."

Natalie looked at him sympathetically, sitting next to him on the bed. "Boyd, you know that what happened to her, it's not your fault."

"Natalie, how do you know that?" Boyd asked.

"Well, you're forgetting who you're talking to," Natalie told him. "Stacie, Ari, Heather and I blamed ourselves for years about what happened to Adriana. And then we all had to realize that it wasn't our fault. Well, most of us did."

Boyd nodded absentmindedly. "I just don't want to think about it, Natalie."

"You want to be properly distracted?" Natalie asked, leaning closer, kissing him slowly.

Boyd deepened the kiss, sliding his hand down to her waist, pushing her jacket off one arm at a time smoothly. Natalie pulled away, gripping his shirt, pulling it over his head, letting it fall to the side, wrapping her arms around his neck, kissing him. Boyd pulled her shirt over her head, letting it fall to the side. Natalie smiled, kissing him. Boyd leaned her further onto the bed, kissing along her neck, trailing down to her shoulder, holding her hand above her head. His other ran hand along her leg. Natalie sighed, turning her head to kiss him again, rolling over him, still kissing him passionately.

Natalie and Boyd's Motel Room

Natalie had her shirt on, lying with Boyd, her back to him, smiling slightly, her eyes closed as she tried to go to sleep.

Boyd's arm was around her.

He heard a little girl's voice. "Boyd?"

Boyd sat up a little, looking around in confusion, seemingly not himself anymore.

"What?" Natalie asked.

"Natalie, did you hear that?" Boyd asked.

"Hear what?" Natalie asked.

Boyd heard the little girl's voice. "You weren't supposed to leave me."

Boyd unwrapped his arm from around Natalie, sitting up, looking around the room. "That."

"Boyd, I don't hear anything," Natalie told him, shaking her head. Boyd looked around, his stomach rumbling. Natalie chucked, smiling. "Okay, I heard that. Go get something from the vending machine."

"Yeah," Boyd agreed. Natalie handed him his shirt. "Okay. I'll get some ice too, Natalie."

"Okay," Natalie told him.

Boyd stood, pulling the shirt on, kissing Natalie, pulling away, walking toward the door.

Natalie smiled, waving.

Boyd opened the door, walking out of the room, letting it close behind him.

Natalie looked at the door, seeming to notice something was wrong.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Outside

Boyd stood in front of the vending machine, looking down, his expression turning cold.

Stiles walked down the stairs, walking toward him. "Yo."

Boyd slowly hit the buttons 2, 0, 1.

"Hey," Stiles told him. "That was the same thing I was gonna get." The wire for the peanut butter crackers was slowly backing away, letting the first package slide forward. The wire stopped moving. "Oh, hang on. You know what? I got a patented method for this. Don't worry."

Stiles grabbed the top of the vending machine.

Boyd punched through the glass, shattering it.

Stiles let go of the machine, looking at Boyd nervously.

Boyd pulled out the peanut butter crackers, walking away.

Stiles watched him go, pulling his own snacks out of the vending machine, walking away.

Office

Lydia stood on the front desk with towels in her hands. "Excuse me? The card on the dresser says we have a non-smoking room, but somehow, all of our towels reek of nicotine."

The old woman behind the desk turned to her, a pipe inserted into her neck for help of breathing. "Sorry about that, sweetheart."

Lydia looked at the number on the wall. 198.

"What's that?" Lydia asked. "That number?"

"It's a kind of inside thing for the motel," the old woman told her. "My husband insists on keeping it up."

"What do you mean?" Lydia asked.

"It's a little bit morbid, to be honest," the old woman told her. "You sure you want to know?"

"Tell me," Lydia told her.

"We're not gonna make the top of anyone's list when it comes to customer satisfaction," the woman told her.

"Obviously," Lydia told her.

"But we are number one in California when it comes to one disturbing little detail," the woman told her. "Since opening, more than any other motel in California, we have the most guest suicides."

Lydia looked at the number nervously. "198?"

"And counting," the woman answered, laughing.

Lydia was profoundly disturbed.

Isaac kept turning the channels anyway, all of them the same. He looked at the screen in absolute numb, unmoving, unlike himself.

Beacon Hills, California

Street

Tara was walking along the street, in hopes that she could find a trail scent that would tell her that Derek was alive. She was losing hope to anger and sadness, though she tried not to feel anything until she knew for sure, one way or the other. She had to come to a stop, breathing deeply, leaning against a nearby light pole with her arm, leaning her head forward, clearly wanting to feel anger more than she wanted to feel sadness, finally letting her feelings show by letting out a scream of anger and frustration, pain and denial. She let herself feel those things for a moment until she pulled herself back together, pushing herself away from the light pole to stand straight, nodding to herself, gazing off, setting off again in an attempt to find her brother, not knowing that all she had to do was go home.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Warehouse

Chris was on his phone. "Do you want me to come pick you up? I don't mind a late night drive."

Allison's voice was on the other line."No, no, it's okay. We're at a motel."

"The school paid for that?" Chris asked.

"Yeah, yeah," Allison answered. "It's not great, but it's just for a night."

"What's it called?" Chris asked.

At the Glen Capri, Allison was standing in a breeze way, leaning against the wall, looking down the way. "The Glen Capri. Do you know it?"

"Yeah, it..." Chris trailed off. "It sounds familiar. Listen, sweetheart, I'm gonna hop in the car and come and get you guys."

"No, Dad," Allison told him. "Seriously, it's okay."

"If there's something you feel like you can't tell me, I just want you to know you can talk to me," Chris told her. "We don't have to keep anything from each other."

Allison leaned her head against the wall. "I know."

Chris rubbed a hole in the wall, where black surrounded it, no longer on the phone, looking toward the second story.

Flashback - 3.05 "Frayed"

Stacie aimed toward the twins, shooting, the arrow landing in the floor, the flash bolt exploding, making them let go of Isaac and Scott, falling to the floor as just Ethan and Aiden.

Stacie smirked, lowering her crossbow, looking at Allison.

Now

Night - Hale Loft - Derek's Room

Jennifer had taken Derek to his room, lying him on the bed. She pulled Derek's shirt up to reveal his wounds, gasping. "Oh, my God."

"How bad?" Derek asked.

"To be honest, the 'oh, my God' would be for you unbelievable physique if it weren't for the fact that you're bleeding black blood," Jennifer told him. Derek closed his eyes weakly. "Derek... Oh, God, you're not dying, are you? Derek, please don't die. Derek!" Jennifer leaned her head against Derek's chest, listening to his steady heart beat, sighing. "Not exactly how I imagined our first date."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Glen Capri - Allison and Lydia's Motel Room

Lydia was sitting on one of the beds.

Allison was standing in the bathroom. "198?"

"Yes, and we're talking 40 years," Lydia told her. "On average, that's... 4.95 a year, which is..." Allison walked into the room, pulling her shirt on. "Actually expected. But who commemorates that with a framed number? Who does that? Who?"

"All suicides?" Allison asked.

"Yes," Lydia answered. "Hanging, throat-cutting, pill-popping, both-barrels-of-a-shotgun-in-the-mouth suicides. I don't know about you, but me, I..."

Lydia heard a man's voice. "Which... which one do you want?"

Lydia turned her head to the side in confusion. "Did you hear that?"

"Hear what?" Allison asked.

Lydia heard a woman's voice. "I don't know. The smaller one, I guess."

Lydia turned her head toward the air conditioning vent behind her.

She heard the man's voice. "It's okay. Smaller's better. There's less kick."  Lydia stood, turning to face the vent completely, stepping onto the bed, slowly walking toward it. "I'll chamber the round. All right, so..."

"Wait, wait," the woman told him. "When do I... I mean, do you count?"

"Yeah, yeah, I'll--I'll--I'll count to three," the man told her.

"So after three or on three?" the woman asked.

"You tell me," the man told her.

Lydia shuddered in fear.

Allison looked at her in worry, walking closer. "Lydia?"

"Oh, my God, oh, my God," Lydia whispered.

"One, two..." the woman trailed off. "Then pull the trigger."

"Oh, my God," Lydia whispered.

"I love you," the man told her.

"I love you, too," the woman told him.

"One, two..." the man trailed off.

The gunshots fired, one after the other.

Lydia gasped, backing away, covering her mouth in horror.

"What is it, Lydia?" Allison asked. "What happened?"

Lydia turned to face her. "Did you hear that?"

"Hear what?" Allison asked.

Lydia stepped onto the floor. "The two people in the other room... they shot each other."

Lydia ran toward the door, opening it, running out into the breeze way.

Allison looked after her in absolute confusion.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Breeze Way

Lydia felt along the windows and the walls as she made her way to the next door.

Allison followed her. "Lydia."

Lydia stopped at room 216, opening it. "Hello?"

Allison stood next to her.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Room 216

Lydia flipped the light switch, but no lights came on. She slowly walked inside.

"Lydia, what are you doing?" Allison asked.

"Hello?" Lydia asked, walking further into the room, feeling toward the large flashlight, turning it on.  The room was under remodeling, but no bodies or guns were in sight. "It had to be right here." She turned to face Allison. "It was a guy and a girl, and I mean, they sounded younger, but... They were here."

Allison walked closer to her, nodding. "I believe you. After everything we've been through, I believe you."

Lydia sighed, turning away in confusion and annoyance. She looked at a design on the wood paneling of the wall, walking closer.

There were faces, screaming.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Outside - Parking Lot

Boyd walked toward the ice bin with a bucket in his hands. He opened the door to the ice bin, taking the lid off of the bucket, placing it on top of the bin, shuffling ice into the bucket.

He heard the little girl's voice. "Don't." Boyd stopped in confusion. "Don't leave me." Boyd slowly started to pull the ice to the side. "You weren't supposed to leave me."

"Alicia?" Boyd asked.

Boyd continued to push the ice away.

"Why did you leave me?" Alicia asked.

Boyd pushed the ice away faster. "Alicia?"

Boyd pushed the ice away, revealing a younger girl beneath the ice.

Alicia opened her eyes.

Boyd gasped, backing away, dropping the bucket of ice, the ice falling over the pavement.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Allison and Lydia's Motel Room

Lydia was packing her things, talking to Allison. "You know, there is something seriously wrong with this place. Hey, Allison, we need to leave."

"But they were suicides, not murders," Allison told her. "And it's not like this place is haunted, right?"

Lydia looked at her, shaking her head. "Maybe it is. You know, I bet that couple made their suicide pact in that very room. Maybe that's why they're renovating. Maybe they've been scraping brain matter off the wood paneling."

"Maybe we should find out," Allison told her.

Lydia looked at her in confusion.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Natalie and Boyd's Motel Room

Natalie was alone, pulling on her jacket, pulling her hair out of her collar, starting to stand.

She heard Lahey's voice."I knew you were a little slut."

Natalie froze. "Dad?"

"You think you could--" Lahey started.

The Kanima screeched inside Natalie's head.

Natalie: (voice over from 2.02 Shape Shifted)"No, Dad, no, please. Dad, please, just--"

Natalie closed her eyes, shaking her head.

Lahey: (voice over from 2.02 Shape Shifted)"Shut up."

Natalie: (voice over from 2.02 Shape Shifted)"Dad, please, if you--"

There was the sound of Lahey hitting Natalie. "I said shut up."

Natalie touched her cheek as if she could feel it, looking up at the ceiling as she heard the thunder and pouring rain.

Natalie shook her head, standing, walking toward the door, opening it, walking outside, letting the door swing closed behind her.

Isaac's Motel Room

Isaac was lying on his bed in the dark, his eyes closed.

He heard metal clanging, opening his eyes, looking around. He closed his eyes.

Isaac heard footsteps approaching, opening his eyes, looking at the ceiling fan above him, hearing a clatter.

Isaac sat up in confusion, looking around.

He heard Lahey's voice. "Hand me the 7/16 wrench. What the hell? This is the 9/16, you moron. You know what the difference between a seven and a nine, dumbass?"

"You know what the difference between a seven and a nine is?" Isaac asked. "It's a stripped bolt."

"A stripped bolt," Lahey told him.

"I'm sorry, I didn't..." Isaac trailed off. "What do you want me to do?"

"I want you to shut up," Lahey told him.

"I want you to shut up," Isaac told him. "Shut up, shut up. What can I do? I can't fix this now. I can't fix this now. I can't fix it. I can't fix it."

"I can't even keep it closed," Lahey told him. "Grab the chains."

"What?" Isaac asked. "Grab the chains. Get in. I said, get in."

"Are you not hearing me, son?" Lahey asked. "Get in the damn freezer! Get in!"

"You can't do this to him!" Natalie told him.

"Natalie, shut up," Lahey told her. "Isaac, get in!"

Isaac crawled back onto his bed, covering his head with his pillow.

When Isaac looked up, he was in the freezer, screaming.

The lid slammed closed above him.

"Isaac!" Natalie screamed.

Isaac was still screaming.

Office

Allison and Lydia walked to the front desk.

"Well, there goes that," Lydia told her.

Allison looked from the number on the wall to Lydia. "Didn't you say the sign said 198?"

Lydia nodded, turning her head to look at the number.

The new number read: 201.

"It was 198," Lydia told her, looking at her, shaking her head. "I swear to God, it was 198."

"Okay, what does that mean, that there's been three more suicides?" Allison asked.

"Or three more are about to happen," Lydia told her.

Allison and Lydia looked at the number on the wall.

Scott and Stiles' Room

Scott's phone rang. Scott picked it up and answered. "Hey, Tara, what's up? Tara?"

"I found Derek," Tara told him.

Scott was in shock. "What? Are you kidding me? Is he okay?"

"No, he's not," Tara told him. "He's dead, Scott. And I'm about to be, too."

"What?" Scott asked. "Tara, what are you talking about? Where are you?"

"Outside," Tara answered. "Look outside."

Scott ran to the window, looking outside.

He heard Deucalion's voice over the phone. "Scott..."  Outside, Tara was on the phone. Deucalion was standing next to her without his glasses, having his claws to her throat. "Can you hear me?"

Scott looked at them worriedly. "What do you want?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Deucalion asked. "You're an Alpha now, Scott."

"I'm not," Scott told him. "I'm not. Tara... Derek could still be alive. You've said it yourself. You both have a long history of cheating death. He could..."

"He's dead," Tara told him. "I know he is, and now you do, too."

"So now, I'm coming for you," Deucalion told him. "You and everyone you love. I'm coming for all of them. Starting with reuniting Tara here with her dead family."

Deucalion slashed Tara's throat open, making her drop the phone.

Tara gasped in pain and shock.

Scott looked outside in horror, gasping, breathing heavily. "Tara!"

Stiles was standing behind him. "Hey, Scott, you okay?"

Scott turned to look at him. He looked outside.

Deucalion and Tara were nowhere in sight.

Stiles brushed his teeth as he looked at the text on his phone from Lydia.

Need to talk. Just you.

Stiles looked at Scott, placing down his toothbrush, walking away.

Stacie and Ari's Motel Room

Ari was still lying on her bed, her eyes closed as she tried to sleep.

She was dreaming a memory.

¤

Flashback - Five Years Ago

Day - Woods

Young Stacie, Young Ari, Young Natalie, Young Adriana and Young Heather were running through the woods.

"Can't catch me, guys!" Young Adriana told them.

"Yeah-huh!" Young Stacie called back, running after her.

"Nuh-uh!" Young Adriana told them.

"Guys, wait!" Young Natalie laughed.

Young Ari and Young Natalie laughed, chasing after Young Stacie and Young Adriana.

Young Heather was following them.

¤

Now

Night - Glen Capri - Stacie and Ari's Motel Room

Ari gasped, waking up.

Stacie was standing in the door way to the bathroom. "Ari? You okay?"

"Perfect," Ari told her in an emotionless monotone, standing, walking around the bed slowly.

Stacie chuckled nervously. "'Cause you've got that murder-y look like you get from the full moons."

¤

Flashback - Five Years Ago

Day - Woods

The Young versions of the girls ran through the woods.

Young Ari turned to look at Young Natalie and Young Heather. "Come on, guys!"

Young Ari smiled, running backwards.

"Ari, look out!" Young Natalie told her.

Young Ari's foot caught in a vine from a tree, making her fall down, rolling down the hill next to them, bouncing painfully toward the bottom, screaming.

¤

Now

Night - Glen Capri - Stacie and Ari's Room

Ari tripped to the floor, looking under the bed, seeing the never-ending darkness.

¤

Flashback - Five Years Ago

Day - Woods

Young Stacie stopped running, turning back to face her, looking down the hill. "Ari?"

Young Ari's voice was bouncing as she rolled toward the bottom. "H--e--l--p!"

Young Natalie, Young Heather and Young Stacie ran down the hill toward Young Ari, helping her stand.

Young Ari was shaking and shivering, scratched and bleeding.

"You okay?" Young Heather asked.

Young Adriana turned back toward them, walking toward the top of the hill. "Guys!"

Young Stacie, Young Ari, Young Heather and Young Natalie looked up the hill toward Young Adriana.

A person in black, their face and hair unseen, grabbed Young Adriana.

Young Stacie, Young Ari, Young Heather and Young Natalie started to run up the hill in front of them.

"Adri!" Young Ari screamed. "Adriana, no!"

"Ari!" Young Adriana screamed, desperate and scared.

The man disappeared with Young Adriana.

Young Ari reached the top of the hill, falling to her knees, crying. "Adriana!"

Young Stacie, Young Heather and Young Natalie each stopped behind her, each numb, scared and confused with fear and sadness. "Adriana?"

¤

Now

Night - Glen Capri - Stacie and Ari's Motel Room

Ari was still on the floor, looking underneath the bed.

She replayed Young Adriana's scream in her head. "Ari!"

Ari closed her eyes, letting a tear fall, opening her eyes.

Present day Adriana was underneath the bed, inside the darkness. Her eyes were glowing completely red, canines grown. There was a look of hate and anger on her face. She roared, launching forward as if to rip Ari's throat out with her teeth.

Ari threw herself back into the wall, sitting on the floor in fear, looking under the bed.

Stacie was still in the door way. "Ari? What is wrong?"

Ari looked at Stacie as if she had forgotten she had been there. She looked under the bed.

Adriana was gone.

Stacie looked at Ari worriedly, looking at the text on her phone from Lydia.

Need to talk. Just you.

Ari was still looking under the bed.

Stacie looked at her, walking toward the door.

Ethan and Danny's Motel Room

(Song:) Hush Now - Fink feat. Tina Grace

Clothes were laid on the floor, books on the bed.

Ethan laid over Danny, kissing him, accidentally kicking the books off of the bed. "Sorry."

"It's just books," Danny told him.

Ethan looked at Danny, chuckling. "You brought homework? Well, should I let you get back to it?"

"Hell, no," Danny answered, kissing him.

Ethan laid over Danny, kissing down his chest, trailing to his stomach. His hand laid over a scar on Danny's side. "What's that?"

"I have two of them, from a surgery I had to correct misshapen cartilage I was born with," Danny explained. "I had a bar put in when I was 14. It stayed there for two years to support my sternum, so my heart and lungs wouldn't be crushed."

"Well, what if there was a way you could make them disappear?" Ethan asked.

Danny shook his head. "I don't really want them to. They make me feel like a survivor."

Ethan smiled a small smile. "I really hope you are."

Ethan kissed Danny deeply. Danny trailed his hand over his waist.

(Song Ends)

Ethan's skin started to come apart, cracking, like he was becoming the Alpha monster with Aiden. He pulled back, breathing heavily, sitting up.

"What?" Danny asked. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing," Ethan told him.

"What?" Danny asked.

"Just give me a second," Ethan told him, standing, walking toward the bathroom, opening the door, walking in, closing the door behind him.

Danny looked after him in confusion.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Bathroom

Ethan leaned against the sink, breathing heavily, looking into the mirror. He turned his back toward the mirror, but nothing happened.

A hand from inside of Ethan's stomach tried to claw its way out. A person's head tried to push its way through.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Main Room

Ethan ran toward the door, opening it, getting out quickly.

"Ethan, you okay?" Danny asked.

Ethan pulled on his shirt. "I'll be back in a minute."

Ethan walked out of the room.

Allison and Lydia's Room

Allison, Lydia, Stacie and Stiles were talking about what was happening.

"Wait, Stacie, what happened?" Allison asked.

"Last time I saw Ari act like that was during the full moon," Stacie told them. "She acted as if she saw something under the bed, jumped back and threw herself against the wall. Said it was her fault Adriana disappeared. It was like she was seeing things, and I think she saw Adriana try to attack her."

"Yeah, I know," Stiles told them. "Scott was definitely a little off with me too. He was looking out of the window, yelling Tara's name, like he saw something bad happening to her. Whatever he saw, I think he saw Tara die. But actually, it was Boyd who was really off. I watched him put his fist through the vending machine."

"See, it is the motel," Lydia told them. "Either we need to get out of here right now, or..." She opened a drawer  pulling out a Bible and walking back toward them, holding it up. "Someone needs to learn how to do an exorcism ASAP, before the Werewolves go crazy and kill us."

"Okay, just hold on, all right?" Stacie asked. "What if it's not just the motel? The number in the office went up by three, right?"

"You mean, like, three sacrifices?" Allison asked.

Stacie nodded. "What if this time it's three Werewolves?"

"Scott, Ari and Isaac or Natalie, Boyd and Ethan," Allison told them.

"Maybe we were meant to come here," Stacie told them.

"Exactly!" Lydia told them. "So can we get the hell out of here now? Please?"

"Wait, hang on," Stiles told them, grabbing the Bible. "Let me see this."

Stiles opened the Bible, revealing several articles inside.

Stacie stepped forward, grabbing one. "What is this?"

Stiles read aloud. "'28-year-old man hangs himself at the infamous Glen Capri'."

Stiles put the article down, shaking out the Bible, several other articles spilling onto the bed.

"Oh, no, look at these two," Lydia told them. "They both mention room 217. These are probably all the suicides that happened in this room."

"So if every room has a Bible..." Allison trailed off.

"There could be articles in all the rooms," Lydia finished.

"That's a beautiful thing," Stacie told them sarcastically. "Most places leave a mint under the pillow. This one leaves a record of all the horrible deaths that occurred."

"What if the room next door has the one about the couple?" Lydia asked.

Stiles ran toward the door, opening it, walking out.

Lydia, Stacie and Allison turned to follow him.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Breeze Way

Stiles tried to open the door, but it wouldn't open.

Lydia, Allison and Stacie stood next to him.

"No, that was not locked before," Lydia told them.

"Forget it," Stacie told them. "We need to get Scott, Natalie, Isaac, Boyd and Ari out of here."

Stiles and Stacie walked forward.

Electric whirring made everyone stop what they were doing, the noise coming from inside the room.

"I'm not the only one that heard that, am I?" Lydia asked.

"It sounds like someone turned the handsaw on," Allison told them.

Stiles and Stacie stood behind them. "Handsaw?"

¤•¤°¤•¤

Inside

Stiles had to break through the door.

Ethan had his shirt open, trying to use the handsaw to cut himself in half to kill himself.

"Hey, no, Ethan, don't!" Stiles told him, running forward.

Stiles tried to take the handsaw away from Ethan.

Ethan pulled the handsaw back toward him.

Lydia looked around.

Stiles pulled the handsaw away from Ethan, falling to the floor, his face nearly being sliced by the blades.

Lydia unplugged the handsaw, making the whirring and the twirling of the handsaw stop.

Stacie ran to Stiles, pulling him away from the handsaw.

They were both sitting on the floor, breathing heavily, looking toward Ethan.

Ethan lowered his hands to his sides, a claw on each finger, trying to claw himself, trying to slash into his stomach to kill himself.

Stacie and Stiles stood, running toward him., grabbing each of his arms, trying to pull them away.

Ethan pushed them away, falling forward, into the heater, his skin sizzling, falling to the floor. "Ah!" He looked around Lydia, Allison, Stacie and Stiles, standing, completely normal. "What just happened?"

Everyone watched him warily.

Ethan ran toward the door.

"Ethan!" Stacie called, running after him.

Lydia, Allison and Stiles followed them.

Natalie ran down the motel stairs outside, into the parking lot, slowing to a stop.

Natalie looked hesitantly over to the car to the right.

Flashback - 2.02 "Shape Shifted"

Night - Alley

The Kanima ripped the car door off the hinges, throwing it into the alley behind it, toward Natalie.

Natalie tried to push herself up off the ground.

The car door bounced off the ground, bouncing toward Natalie, slicing along her back fatally.

Natalie screamed in pain as it slid down the rest of the alley.

Natalie was too weak to even move, but she managed to slowly, painfully turn her head to see her father's dead body. She choked a pained gasp, knowing she was going to die, slowly bleeding out. The rain filling the wound. She looked around weakly, looking at the deep red seeping around her, her own blood, the rain making irregular dots in it before disappearing.

Natalie hopelessly, weakly, painfully tried to stay awake. She laid her head on the ground, falling unconscious, waiting to die.

Now

Night - Glen Capri - Outside

Natalie slowly sank to the pavement, sitting down, hearing the rain and the thunder from the storm that day as if it were happening now, hearing her father's scream as he died, tears streaming down her cheeks silently.

She heard Lahey's voice. "Your fault. Your fault, Natalie. You were supposed to die too, you little slut."

Natalie stopped crying, standing, turning around in realization. She looked to the roof of the motel, knowing what she had to do, walking away.

Beacon Hills High School - Parking Lot

Tara came jogging up to the parking lot with renewed hope because she had caught Derek's scent. She saw a pool of blood left by Derek where Jennifer's car had been the previous episode. She walked closer, kneeling next to the pool of blood. She ran her hand through the blood, looking at it, incredibly relieved, looking up. "He's alive."

Tara knew that she wouldn't be able to easily catch his scent again because Jennifer had drove him away with her car, so Tara focused on the car exhaust to follow the trail, walking quickly away.

Hale Loft - Derek's Room

Derek sat up from his bed, groaning, breathing heavily in pain, trying to stand.

Jennifer turned toward him. "Are you sure you want to do that?"

"I have to find the others," Derek told her. "They think I'm dead."

"Well, maybe that's a good thing," Jennifer told him. Derek looked at her in confusion. "You know how many characters in literature use a false death to their advantage? You ever read Les MisTale of Two CitiesRomeo and Juliet?"

"They need to know," Derek told her.

"Do you have any idea how bad you look?" Jennifer asked. "You're like one giant open wound. I'm not entirely sure you aren't really dead."

Derek didn't answer, looking down.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Glen Capri - Outside

Ethan was walking downstairs with him being followed by Stacie, Stiles, Allison and Lydia. "Didn't you hear what I just said? I don't know how I got there or what I was doing."

"Okay, you could be a little bit more helpful, you know?" Stacie asked. "We did just save your life."

Ethan turned to face them. "And you probably shouldn't have."

Ethan turned around, walking away.

"What now?" Lydia asked.

Allison turned to Stacie, Lydia and Stiles. "I'll find Scott and Ari. You guys grab Isaac, Natalie and Boyd. The best thing we can do is get them out of this place."

Allison turned around, walking upstairs.

Stiles looked at Lydia.

"What?" Lydia asked. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Oh, no, I w--" Stiles started.

"Stiles," Lydia cut him off in annoyance.

"All right, Lydia," Stiles told her, sighing. "I didn't want to say anything, but this... everything we're going through... we've kind of been through something like this before, a lot like this."

"What do you mean?" Lydia asked. "When?"

"Your birthday, the night you poisoned everyone with wolfsbane," Stiles answered.

Lydia looked down with realization.

Boyd was sitting alone in the room, facing forward.

The radio clicked on by itself, static buzzing.

Boyd turned the radio off.

The radio clicked on by itself, static buzzing.

Man: (on radio)"Do you remember what time it was when you last saw her?"

Young Boyd: (on radio)"I don't know. I can't remember."

Man: (on radio)"Sometimes it helps to put yourself right back in the moment. Imagine you're seeing Alicia skating on the ice rink. Plenty of other people around, and then what?"

Young Boyd: (on radio)"And then she was just--she was just gone."

Boyd turned the radio off.

The radio clicked on by itself, static buzzing,

Young Boyd: (on radio) "I told you, I was watching her. I didn't want to skate anymore." Boyd closed his eyes in pain. "I was tired, and I swear, I was watching her."

Man: (on radio)"It's all right, Vernon. We're just trying to piece together what happened."

Boyd grabbed the radio, pulling it toward him, making it unplug itself.

The radio clicked on by itself, static buzzing.

Young Boyd: (on radio)"Is she dead? Is it my fault? Is she dead?"

"Is she dead?" Boyd repeated sadly. "Is it my fault? Is she dead?"

Boyd threw the radio across the room, making it bounce off of the wall and land on the floor. He stood, walking forward, stomping on it to shatter it.

Stacie and Ari's Motel Room

Ari was still sitting against the wall, looking under the bed.

The hallucination of Adriana from before knelt in front of Ari. "I'm not anywhere. The Adriana you know is dead. Your sister is dead. Because of you. It's your fault."

Ari shook her head. "No."

"Why was I taken?" Adriana asked. "You weren't there. Our friends came to help you."

Ari hear the scared, desperate scream of Adriana the day she had been taken. "Ari!"

Adriana looked at her with guilt and resignation and disbelief and respect. "You're really gonna do it." Ari took a deep breath. "Go ahead. Do it. Taking my place? Kinda poetic. Do it." Adriana lowered her voice, sounding weak for the first time. "I want you to."

"But you were so close to doing it, weren't you?" Adriana asked. Ari put a hand on the wall behind her, starting to push herself up, rising from the floor. "Do it. I want you to."

Ari slid further up the wall. "No."

"Our father's dead," Adriana told her. "Heather's dead. The real Adriana hates you and wants you dead. Our mother and cousin couldn't care less. Your best friends Stacie and Natalie wouldn't. Maybe you should do the thing they all want."

Ari breathed heavily, so close to breaking.

Hale Loft - Derek's Room

Derek was still sitting on his bed.

Jennifer was kneeling in front of him. "You don't have any bandages or any kind of first aid anywhere. I looked."

"I usually don't need them," Derek told her.

"How do we fix you up?" Jennifer asked.

"Time," Derek answered. "You shouldn't be here."

"Why's that?" Jennifer asked.

"Because you don't know me," Derek answered. "You don't know anything about me."

"Maybe I have a feeling about you," Jennifer told him.

"It shouldn't be a good one," Derek told her. "Everyone around me... everyone gets hurt."

"I've been hurt before," Jennifer told him.

"Not like this," Derek told her.

Jennifer slowly leaned closer to Derek, kissing him slowly.

Derek pulled away from her.

Jennifer kissed him again.

The scratches on Derek's forehead were starting to heal.

Lydia walked away from Stiles and Stacie.

Stacie hit Stiles on the back of his head. "Apologize."

Stiles looked at Lydia, following her. "Fine, Stacie. Lydia, I'm sorry, okay? Look I didn't mean that you're trying to kill people, okay? I just--I just thought that maybe... maybe you're somehow involved in getting people to kill themselves, you know?" Lydia turned her head to glare at him. Stacie used the back of her hand to hit Stiles' chest. "Ow. Stacie, stop hitting me. Which now that I say that out loud, it sounds really terrible, so I'm just going to stop talking."

"That's a really good idea," Stacie told him.

"Shut up, Stacie," Stiles told her.

Lydia heard a baby crying in the distance, slowing to a stop in confusion. "Guys... Do you hear that?"

"What?" Stacie asked.

The baby continued to cry.

Lydia heard a woman's voice."Stop. Please, just stop." Lydia knelt to the drain in front of her. "What do you want? I don't know what you want."

"Lydia, what do you hear?" Stiles asked.

"A baby crying," Lydia answered.

"Quiet!" the woman told the baby.

Water started to run.

"I hear..." Lydia trailed off. "I hear water running."

Stacie, Stiles and Lydia ran inside.

Stacie reached into the water behind Boyd's head, trying to unplug the drain, but a white block was wedged deeply inside. "He blocked it. He blocked the drain with something. I can't get to it."

"What do we do?" Lydia asked.

"Here, help me," Stiles told them, nodding to the safe.

Lydia, Stiles and Stacie tried to move the safe. The safe didn't move.

Lydia looked at Boyd. "Is he dead? How long can a Werewolf stay underwater?"

"You think we know that?" Stacie asked, trying to push the safe.

Stiles backed into the heater. "Ow!" He breathed heavily, looking from the heater to Boyd in realization. "Wait a sec, the heater. Heater... Ethan came out of it when he touched the heater."

"What?" Lydia asked.

"It's heat, heat, fire," Stiles told them. "Heat does it, all right? We need something... we need fire."

"He's underwater," Stacie stressed.

"Yeah, I'm aware of that, Stacie," Stiles told her.

"Wait, wait," Lydia told them. "The bus. On the bus, they'll have emergency road flares. They have their own oxidizers. They can burn underwater."

"Are you serious?" Stiles asked.

"Yes!" Lydia answered.

"Go!" Stacie told him. Stiles ran out of the room. Stacie looked at Lydia. "Go to Isaac's room, see if he's there."

Lydia nodded, standing, turning around, running out of the room.

Stacie turned to the safe, grunting in exertion as she tried to push it away.

Boyd was looking toward the ceiling.

Stiles ran into the bathroom. "I got 'em. What do I do? How do I do this?"

"The cap, it's like a match," Lydia answered. "The cap's a match."

Stiles tried to lit the flare.

Stacie stood, looking at Boyd. "Stiles!"

"Yeah, Stacie, I'm trying," Stiles told her.

Stacie took the flare, turning toward the tub, putting the flare under the water, touching Boyd's skin, burning him.

Boyd was completely normal, pushing the safe off of him.

Stacie back away instantly toward Lydia and Stiles.

The flare landed on the floor, still burning.

The safe still toward the hall.

Boyd sat up from the water, completely shifted, his eyes glowing gold, roaring.

Lydia, Stiles and Stacie watched him nervously.

Boyd stood, looking down, catching his breath. "Natalie. Where's Natalie?"

"We'll find her, loverboy," Stacie promised, tossing him a towel. Boyd caught it. "We'll find Natalie. First, get dried off and a shirt on."

Natalie was on the roof. She walked toward the edge slowly, calmly.

Natalie looked at the ground below, taking a deep breath, turning away from the edge, closing her eyes, exhaling, raising her arms on either side of her, letting herself fall off the roof toward the ground below.

The ground appeared to be getting closer as Natalie fell toward it.

Natalie landed in Boyd's arms in a cradle.

Natalie opened her eyes, looking at Boyd.

Boyd breathed heavily, looking at her in relief.

Stacie, Lydia, Stiles and Isaac stood a few feet away from them, giving them some space.

Boyd set Natalie onto her feet, holding her shoulders.

Natalie breathed heavily, looking at him in confusion.

Lydia reached forward with a flare, burning her skin.

Natalie gasped, turning to face the rest, backing away in pain and surprise. "What the hell was that?"

"Us snapping you out of your severely suicidal state of mind," Stacie answered.

"You're welcome, Natalie," Stiles added sarcastically.

Isaac looked behind Boyd and Natalie, toward the motel, on the second story with worry. "Someone needs to get to her now."

"Oh, my God, Ari," Lydia told them, running toward the motel.

Boyd and Natalie turned around to follow their gazes.

Ari was on the second story of the breeze way, tying a rope into a noose.

"Is that a noose?" Stiles asked incredulously.

Stacie pushed him forward. "Of course it is, dumbass."

Stiles looked at the flare. "If I burn her, she'll jump, won't she?"

"Yeah," Stacie answered, sighing.

Isaac started toward the motel to help them save Ari.

Boyd held him back. "No, they've got it. We need to get the bus so we don't get effected again."

Boyd pulled Natalie and Isaac toward the bus.

Breeze Way

Stiles, Lydia and Stacie stood behind Ari.

Ari stood past the railing, pulling the noose toward her, over her head, having a broken, dead soul look.

Stacie took a step toward her. "Ari, don't do this."

Ari looked toward the night. "They're dead. Erica. Derek. Heather."

"It's in your head," Lydia told her gently and carefully. "It's all in your head it's okay."

Ari opened her eyes, shaking her head. "No. It's not. The Alphas and Adriana are here for Derek and me. He's dead. So if I'm dead too, they won't have a reason to be here. They won't kill anyone else. They'll leave. Derek, the Alphas, Adri... they're my fault."

"No," Stacie told her quietly, careful. "Adriana's not your fault. None of it is your fault. You know that."

"Ari, don't do this," Stiles told her. "It isn't you. Please, Ari, it isn't."

"I shouldn't be here," Ari told them sadly, quietly. She took a deep breath, speaking louder, stronger. "I shouldn't be here."

Ari started to take a step into the air.

"Ari, don't," Lydia told her. "You're my cousin. My family."

"You're my best friend," Stacie told her, trying to buy some time.

"Our sister," Lydia finished. "Don't leave. Please." Ari turned her head away again, looking forward, letting go of the railing, stepping forward, starting to fall. Lydia screamed. "Ari, no!"

Stiles, Lydia and Stacie ran forward. Stiles caught her right arm. Stacie caught her left arm. They pulled her back toward the railing into safety. Lydia pulled the rope from over her head, letting it fall to the landing. Stiles and Stacie pulled Ari back over the railing, all of them falling to the landing.

Lydia took the flare, pressing it against Ari's arm.

Ari pulled her arm away instantly, completely normal. "Son of a bitch!"

"Yeah, she's back," Stiles told them with a relieved sigh.

Ari sighed, leaning her head against Lydia's shoulder, breathing heavily.

Lydia held onto Ari tightly, kissing her hair in relief, looking up, tears in her eyes as if she was thanking everything she believed in.

Later

Ari, Allison, Stiles, Stacie, and Lydia walked downstairs.

"I can't find Scott anywhere," Allison told them.

"It's happening to him too, isn't it?" Stiles asked.

"It has to be," Lydia answered.

"Didn't you say there was another flare on the bus?" Stacie asked.

"Yeah," Stiles asked. "I'll get it."

Ari stopped walking, looking further into the parking lot with a wary expression.  "You don't have to."

Allison, Stiles, Stacie and Lydia followed her gaze, all of them slowly walking forward.

Scott was drenched, holding the last remaining flare in his hand.

"Scott..." Allison trailed off, walking closer. Everyone circled around him, standing in front of him. "Scott."

Scott had the look for a broken, dead soul.

There was a bottle of gasoline on the ground.

The liquid drenching Scott was gasoline, having the flare in his hand, burning brightly.

Scott looked at his friends sadly, gasoline dripping from every part of him.

Scott looked toward his friends.

Allison, Stacie, Stiles, Ari and Lydia looked toward him in worry.

"There's no hope," Scott told them.

"What do you mean, Scott?" Allison asked. "There's always hope."

"Not for me," Scott told them. "Not for Derek."

Stacie looked down.

Hale Loft - Derek's Room

Derek sat with his back toward Jennifer, still wounded and weak.

Jennifer carefully, lightly put her hand on his shoulder, pulling him toward her, kissing him.

The wounds all over Derek's body started to disappear, finally healing.

Glen Capri - Outside

Stiles, Stacie, Ari, Allison and Lydia stood around Scott.

Allison looked at Scott. "Derek wasn't you're fault. You know Derek wasn't your fault."

"Every time I try to fight, it just gets worse," Scott told them. "People keep getting hurt, people keep getting killed."

"Scott, listen to me, okay?" Stacie asked. "This is someone inside your head telling you to do this."

"They pulled me out of it, too, okay?" Ari asked. "This isn't you. Okay? Now--"

"What if it is?" Scott cut her off, looking from Stacie to Ari. "What if it is just me? What if doing this is actually the best thing that I could do for everyone else?"

Tara was following the exhaust trail from Jennifer's car through the streets, running as fast as she could to follow it.

Glen Capri - Outside

Stiles, Stacie, Ari, Allison and Lydia stood around Scott.

Scott looked at Stiles. "It all started that night, the night I got bitten. Do you remember the way it was before that? You and me?" Stiles barely nodded. "We were--we were nothing. We weren't popular. We weren't good at lacrosse. We weren't important. We were no one. Maybe I should just be no one again. No one at all."

Scott started to shift his hold on the flare, about to let it fall.

Stiles took a step forward. "Scott, just listen to me, okay? You're not no one. You're--" He looked toward Stacie, Ari and Lydia. Stiles looked at Scott. "Scott, you're my best friend. Okay, and I need you." He took another step forward. "Scott, you're my brother." Ari looked from Stacie to Lydia on either side of her. Stacie and Lydia looked at Ari. Stacie, Ari and Lydia looked at Stiles and Scott. "All right, so..." Stiles stepped onto the pool of gasoline.  "So if you're gonna do this... I think you're just gonna have to take me with you, then."

Scott looked hesitantly toward Stacie and Ari. "Stacie would never let you do this alone. And Ari would never let Stacie."

Stacie took a deep breath. Stacie and Ari looked at each other.

Ari barely nodded.

Stacie looked at Stiles and Scott, slowly walking forward, standing to Stiles' right, Scott's left, facing the motel.

Ari slowly walked forward, standing to Scott's right, Stiles' left, across from Stacie, her back facing the motel.

"You're right," Stacie said, stepping into the pool of gasoline.

Ari looked at her. "We'd do it together."

Ari stepped onto the gasoline.

Allison and Lydia watched them worriedly, fearing of what might have happened.

Stiles looked from Stacie to Ari, nodding, slowly taking the flare from Scott. "All right?"

Stiles threw the flare behind Stacie and him.

Stiles, Ari, Scott and Stacie exhaled in relief.

A breeze made the flare roll toward the pool of gasoline.

"No!" Lydia screamed.

Allison and Lydia ran forward.

Stacie pushed Stiles and Scott toward Ari. Ari pulled all three of them out of the pool of gasoline with her, all of them falling to the ground.

The pool of gasoline was set ablaze, almost as if exploding.

Lydia knelt over Stiles and Ari, holding an arm over either of them.

Stacie and Ari looked at Stiles, Scott and each other, making sure everyone was okay.

Lydia looked into the flames behind them.

A creature in a black cloak and a monstrous, gray, slashed face with blue eyes glared toward her, disappearing entirely.

Lydia was still looking into the flames.

Hale Loft - Living Room

Tara slid the door open, walking quickly inside. "Derek? Derek!"

Derek slowly walked down the spiral staircase at the back of the room, healed and doing better, but not completely okay. "Tara." He looked at his little sister. "I came here thinking that you would be here."

"I was out there, looking for you," Tara told him.

Derek sighed, nodding. "I figured as much. Hey, Tara." Tara looked at him in relief, walking closer. "It's okay, Tara."

The two siblings embraced for a long moment of relief, glad that Derek was okay.

Day Two

Glen Capri - Outside - School Bus

Coach and the rest of the students walked to the bus, opening the door and walking inside.

Coach looked at the aisle.

Stacie, Scott and Stiles sat on the left side of the aisle, in a row. Allison, Ari and Lydia sat on the right side of the aisle, in a row.

Isaac sat in the back of the bus on the left side of the aisle. Natalie and Boyd sat in the back of the bus on the right side of the aisle, sitting in the same seat. Natalie's head was on Boyd's chest.

All of them were asleep.

Coach's voice made them all wake up. "I don't want to know. I really don't want to know, but in case you missed the announcement, the meet's cancelled, so we're heading home. Pack it in. Pack it in!"

The students walked down the aisle, finding seats of their own.

Ethan sat behind Stacie, next to Scott, across from Ari. "I don't know what happened last night, but I'm pretty sure you saved my life."

"Actually, Stacie and I saved your life," Stiles told him, pointing from him to Stacie. "But not that it matters that much. It's just--it's minor detail."

Ethan ignored him, looking from Scott to Ari on either side of him. "So I'm gonna give you something. We're pretty sure Derek's still alive." Stacie looked up immediately. Ethan looked at her. "But he killed one of us. That means one of three things can happen." He looked from Scott to Ari. "Either he joins our pack..."

"And kills his own," Scott finished.

Ari looked behind her to look at Isaac, Natalie and Boyd at the back of the bus.

Ethan looked at Ari. "Or you kill him to become an Alpha and join our pack..."

"Which is never gonna happen," Ari told him.

"Don't be so sure," Ethan told her.

Stacie looked at him in confusion.

"What's the third?" Ari asked.

"Kali forces the pack to go after him," Ethan answered. "Including Adriana. That's the way it works."

Ethan stood, starting to walk away.

Stacie watched him go. "You know, your little code of ethics there is sort of barbaric, just FYI."

Ethan ignored her, walking toward Danny, sitting down.

Stacie leaned against the wall of the bus, looking thoughtful and relieved by the news she had just received.

Stiles stood, sitting next to Scott.

Lydia looked toward Coach, looking at the whistle around his neck in realization.

Coach started to walk past them. "Hey, Ethan, I wanted to--"

Lydia stood, grabbing his whistle. "Coach, can I see your whistle for a second?"

"What's that?" Coach asked. Lydia started to take off the whistle without waiting for an answer. "Hey, Ethan--" Coach looked at Lydia. "I'm gonna need that back." He turned to Ethan. "Ethan..."

Lydia hit Ari's knee for her to move her legs.

Ari crossed her legs, sitting up, still facing the others.

Lydia sat down next to her.

Lydia covered the top of the whistle, blowing, turning her hand for Ari, Allison, Scott, Stiles and Stacie to see. Purple powder covered it. "Wolfsbane."

"So every time the coach blew the whistle on the bus, Scott, Ari, Isaac, Natalie, Boyd--" Stiles started.

"And Ethan," Lydia added.

"We all inhaled it," Scott told them.

"You were all poisoned by it," Allison told them.

"So that's how the Darach got into our heads," Ari told them. "That's how he did it."

Stacie eyed the whistle, standing, reaching for it, pulling it away, turning toward the window, opening it.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey!" Coach told her. Stacie tossed the whistle outside.  "Stacie!" Outside, the whistle landed on the pavement. The bus started to drive away. "Stacie!" Inside, Stacie turned back forward, leaning against the wall of the bus, sliding into her seat. "Seriously, again?"

Stacie shrugged nonchalantly.

Lydia and Ari leaned back against their seat the same time, both sighing relieve sighs.

The bus drove down the unknown road, leaving the Glen Capri forever.

Elderly Home

Chris walked toward a door at the end of the hall, opening it, looking inside.

Gerard Argent sat in a wheelchair facing away from him, slowly turning his head over his shoulder to look at Chris. "Twice in a month." He turned the wheelchair to face Chris, black blood dripping down from his nose and mouth. "Should I be flattered?"

Chris walked into the room. "In 1977, my uncle Alexander Argent checked into the Glen Capri motel for a one-night stay. In room 217, he used a shot gun to blow out the back of his skull." Gerard used a tissue stained in black blood to wipe away the blood from his nose and mouth. "The autopsy report noted an unusual animal bite in his side."

"If you already have all the information, what do you want from me?" Gerard asked.

"I want to know the Alpha that bit him," Chris answered. "I want his name."

Gerard smirked. "Deucalion."
