chapter 12 - Lunar Eclipse

Outfits in the external link

From 3.11 "Alpha Pact", in the vault, Allison and Ari were standing together.

Scott: (voice over) "Previously on Worlds Colliding (Teen Wolf)"

Allison looked up. "They're all gonna die. Aren't they?"

From 3.11 "Alpha Pact", in the loft, Tara, Derek and Peter were talking.

"The full moon is tomorrow night," Peter told them.

Cora was on the couch, unconscious.

"It's a lunar eclipse," Tara told them. "We'll all be powerless."

From 3.07 "Currents", in Allison's room, Stacie, Allison and Adriana were talking.

"If I give her a little power, she'll be half-Alpha, half-Beta, and so will I," Adriana answered. "But it can only happen once."

"When?" Stacie asked.

"The lunar eclipse," Adriana answered.

From 3.11 "Alpha Pact", in the school hallway, Lydia and Stiles were talking.

"Jennifer, she's got all of them now," Stiles told her.

From 3.11 "Alpha Pact", in the Nemeton, Sheriff, Melissa, Macey and Chris were tied to posts, facing each other.

Morrell: (voice over from 3.11 Alpha Pact) "Find the Nemeton."

From 3.11 "Alpha Pact", in the back of the clinic, Stacie was still standing at the end of the two tubs in the middle of the four.

Allison, Ari, Stiles and Scott slowly climbed into the waters of frozen ice. They were submerged into the water by Adriana, Isaac, Lydia and Deaton.

Deaton: (voice over from 3.11 Alpha Pact) "Scott, Arielle, Allison and Stiles need to be surrogate sacrifices for your parents. Stacie is their tie to this world."

From 3.11 "Alpha Pact", on the street, Scott, Stiles, Stacie, Ari, Adriana and Deaton were talking.

"It'll also have an effect on the five of you," Deaton told them. "Not just the ones acting as the sacrifices, but their central anchor." He looked at Stacie. "It'll have as much effect on you as it does them. Sort of like... a guide to show them what to do." He looked between Scott, Stiles, Ari and Stacie. "You won't be able to see it, but you'll feel it everyday for the rest of your lives. It'll be kind of darkness around your heart."

Big White Room

Allison, Ari, Stiles and Scott woke up from underneath the water, launching up from beneath the surface to gasp for air. They looked at each other, climbing out of the water. They looked around the big white room, wondering where they were, because they knew that they weren't alive at the moment. They slowly turned around.

Stacie was standing in front of them, looking soaked herself, flickering in and out of focus, like a bad TV reception or a ghost. The more she flickered, the further back she got from them, closer to the Nemeton behind them. Like she was telling them to follow her without words.

Allison, Ari, Stiles and Scott remembered that Deaton had said that Stacie would be like a guide to them for being their central anchor. They followed Stacie across the room toward the Nemeton.

Stacie reappeared, reaching toward the surface of the Nemeton, resting her hand over the circular pattern. She disappeared, then reappeared again.

Scott lifted one of his sleeves to reveal his tattoo.

Tara: (voice over from 3.01 Tattoos) "What does it mean?"

Scott: (voice over from 3.01 Tattoos) "I don't know. Something I trace with my fingers."

Stacie reappeared, touching the Nemeton, disappearing once again.

Scott slowly walked toward the Nemeton, reaching down to touch the rings on of the cut-down tree. He disappeared.

Flashback - 1.01 "Wolf Moon"

Night - Beacon Hills Preserve

Present-Day Scott appeared. He heard groaning, looking toward where Past-Scott was looking for his inhaler.

Past-Scott used his phone as a flashlight. Instead, he found the upper half of Laura Hale's body, frightened enough to scream, fall back and roll down the hill behind him.

Present-Day Scott watched in curiosity.

Past-Scott used a fallen down tree to help him stand, crawling over it, starting to walk away when he heard the growls behind him, slowing to a stop. He slowly turned around to see the Alpha as it leaped toward him, making him fall to the forest floor.

Present-Day Scott watched as the Alpha bit Past-Scott in shock.

Past-Scott looked up, screaming in pain, rolling over the ground, standing up, running away.

Guide!Stacie appeared in front of Scott, flickering in and out of focus, turning around, disappearing.

Present-Day Scott followed her to the Nemeton, in shock.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Elsewhere

Present-Day Stiles was looking around. He turned around, seeing Past-Scott, Past-Stiles, and Past-Stacie walking through the woods.

"We're seriously doing this?" Past-Scott asked.

"You're the one that's always bitching that nothing happens in this town," Past-Stacie told him.

"I was trying to get a good night's sleep before practice tomorrow," Past-Scott told them. Past-Stiles and Past-Stacie ran through the woods. "Stiles! Wait up. Stacie!"

Past-Stacie and Past-Stiles turned back to face him with arms raised in the air.

A guard dog was barking in Past-Stiles' face.

Past-Stiles fell down the ground.

Past-Stacie jumped back, hiding behind a tree before anyone saw her.

Sheriff walked closer. "Hang on, hang on. This little delinquent belongs to me."

Present-Day Stiles was watching curiously.

"Dad, how are you doing?" Past-Stiles asked rhetorically.

"Now, where's your usual partner in crime?" Sheriff asked.

"Stacie?" Past-Stiles asked. "Oh, yeah, she's here."

"Stacie," Sheriff called.

Past-Stacie sighed, stepping out from behind the tree. "Hey, Dad."

Guide!Stacie appeared next to Present-Day Stiles, making him jump.

Sheriff looked at Past-Stiles and Past-Stacie. "Well, you two, I'm gonna walk you back to his car."

Guide!Stacie flickered in and out of focus, signaling Present-Day Stiles to follow them.

Present-Day Stiles followed his Past-Family, coming across the Nemeton.

On the Road - Argent SUV

Victoria was driving.

Past-Allison was in the passenger seat.

"Your father is a highly respected private security consultant and a federally licensed firearms dealer," Victoria told her. "It's not exactly a 9:00 to 5:00 office job."

Past-Allison sighed. "I--"

"The hours are always going to be like that," Victoria told her.

"I get it," Past-Allison told her. "It's just... it's kind of weird, when he takes off in the middle of the night, rushing out with duffel bags full of automatic weapons." She looked out, gasping. "Mom, look out!" The SUV nearly hit Past-Scott in the middle of the road, swerving out of the way, making the tires squeal. "Oh! You almost killed him."

"He ran out into the middle of the road," Victoria told her.

"Okay, well, we have to go back," Past-Allison told her.

"Go back?" Victoria repeated.

"What if he's hurt?" Past-Allison asked. "Mom, turn around. Mom!"

Victoria sighed, turning around, driving back the way they had came.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Outside - Preserve

Past-Allison got out of the car, closing the door. She saw footprints in the mud, following them.

Victoria got out of the car. "Allison!"

Present-Day Allison was watching.

Guide!Stacie flickered in and out of focus, signaling for her to follow her past self.

Past-Allison came across Scott's inhaler, kneeling down to pick it up, looking around in confusion.

She heard a wolf howling in the distance.

Present-Day Allison was watching.

Past-Allison tossed down the inhaler, turning around, walking away.

Present-Day Allison turned around to look at the inhaler on the ground, but instead found the Nemeton to be behind her instead.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Elsewhere

Past-Ari was standing at the tree with the carving, next to her old blue motorcycle that Peter had destroyed in 1.07 Night School.

Present-Day Ari was standing by the treeline, watching her.

Past-Ari was tracing the carving on the tree.

Guide!Stacie flickered in and out of focus.

Present-Day Ari turned to Guide!Stacie.

Guide!Stacie disappeared, allowing Present-Day Ari to see the glowing red eyes watching Past-Ari.

Present-Day Ari frowned in confusion, stepping forward to take a closer look.

Adriana had been watching Past-Ari.

Past-Ari looked paranoid as if she knew that she was being watched, walking toward her old bike, getting on, starting the engine.

Adriana ran away, leaving.

Guide!Stacie flickered in and out of focus, signaling to Present-Day Ari to follow Adriana.

Present-Day Ari followed Adriana, pushing through the trees and leaves and branches, pushing through the trees and shrubbery. She ended up losing Adriana, looking around in confusion.

Guide!Stacie was no longer flickering, standing on the Nemeton in front of Present-Day Ari.

Reality

Day One

Night - Beacon Hills Animal Clinic - Backroom

Ari was still in the ice water. She came back from the dead, looking directly up, gasping for breath. (slow motion)

¤•¤°¤•¤

Scott looked up. He blinked. When he opened his eyes, they were glowing gold.

Scott levitated above the ground. Tyler Posey.

Allison was facing the side. She pulled up her bow, her face echoing, releasing the bow. Crystal Reed.

Hands reached up from the soil, reaching toward each other

Stiles stood next to his Jeep, walking forward. Dylan O'Brien

Stacie looked up, facing the right, a slow smile spreading across her face, in the track pose, her face echoing. She ran forward. Zoey Deutch

Ari and Adriana stood back to back. Ari looked to the left, holding her motorcycle helmet in her hands, her eyes glowing blue. Adriana looked to the right, tracing her double infinity tattoo on her wrist, her eyes glowing completely red. There was water sprinkles everywhere as they both looked up. Katherine McNamara.

Tara stood with her back toward you, looking over her shoulder, black blood covering her skin, her body reflecting each other. Victoria Justice.

On the back of Tara's hand, a triskele appeared. The spirals were black. The tip of one spiral was Beta blue. The tip of one spiral was Beta gold. The tip of one spiral was Alpha red. The intersection point was purple.

A black wolf howled.

Derek looked up, shirtless, his eyes closed, shifted, roaring, dust falling off of his body. Tyler Hoechlin.

A triskele appeared on Derek's back.

Lydia's hair covered her face, her hands held in front of her. She tossed her head back to get it to fall behind her head. Holland Roden

A double infinity sign tattoo appeared on Adriana's wrist.

Lydia's reflecting heads turned away from each other, screaming.

Two bands appeared over Scott's arm, the top band thicker than the other.

Tara's black blood covered body, her face hidden, reflected itself. She clawed a design into it across her stomach.

Scott stared ahead. His eyes glowed gold. He tilted his head down toward his chest.

Beacon Hills Animal Clinic - Backroom

Allison, Ari, Stiles and Scott gasped for breath, pushing themselves out of the waters. (slow motion)

Stacie was still standing in the middle of the tubs.

Lydia, Deaton and Adriana stood.

"I saw it," Scott told them. "I know where it is."

"There was this passage," Stiles told them, climbing out, pointing at Stacie. "You were like this freaky, flickering ghost guide." Stacie looked at them in confusion. "There's a huge tree. Well, it's not huge anymore, it was cut down. It was still big, though. Very big."

"It was the night we were looking for the body," Scott told them, pointing at Stacie and Stiles.

"The same night you were bit by Peter," Stiles agreed.

"I was there too," Allison told them. "I was in the car with my mother. We almost hit somebody."

"That was me," Scott told her. "You almost hit me."

Ari looked at Adriana. "The tree, I was at our tree. You were there, Adriana. I saw you. You were watching me. I followed you." Ari took in a deep breath. Adriana looked away. Ari looked at the rest of them. "We can find it."

Stacie looked down.

No one answered.

"What?" Allison asked.

Stacie looked up. "You guys were out a long time."

"How long's a long time?" Stiles asked.

"16 hours," Deaton answered.

Allison, Ari, Stiles and Scott looked at them in shock.

"We were in the water for 16 hours?" Ari asked.

Adriana nodded. "And the full moon rises in less than four."

Hale Loft - Living Room

Derek was sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall by the windows, unconscious.

Tara and Cora were kneeling next to him.

Tara poured water into Derek's slightly open mouth.

Derek gasped softly, waking up to see Tara and Cora side by side. "You're okay."

"I'm doing much better than you are right now," Cora answered. "And all because of you."

Derek, Tara and Cora all smiled real, actual smiles for the first time in what was literally six years. Cora wrapped her arm around Tara's shoulders in a hug, holding  Derek's hand.

Peter's bitterness almost killed the good mood. "Hopefully not all for nothing. The moon is rising, Derek. You drained your battery all the way to the red, and there is a fully charged Alpha on her way to rip you limb from limb."

"He'll be fine in a few hours," Tara told him in annoyance.

Peter sighed. "I sincerely hope so, Tara, because a few hours is all that he has."

Beacon Hills Animal Clinic - Backroom

Scott, Stiles, Ari and Allison were drying themselves off.

Stacie was sitting down.

Isaac wrapped a towel around Ari to warm her up from the freezing cold. Ari looked at him thankfully, managing a small smile.

Deaton, Lydia and Adriana stood nearby.

Ari looked at Stacie, Allison and Adriana. "Okay, is anyone gonna explain in more detail on what the hell is going on?"

"We've already told you everything," Allison told them.

"Uh, that's not entirely true," Adriana told them.

Everyone looked at her.

"What're you hiding?" Ari asked.

"You remember, at the tree, when we were saving Mom, you almost got tossed back by the barrier?" Adriana asked. Ari nodded. "You remember slowly feeling stronger, and afterward, I felt weaker?" Ari nodded again. "That was me giving you power, to forge the bond."

"And Adriana isn't the only one who can do so," Deaton told her. "You can too, although not an Alpha, you're stronger than a natural Beta. And you can give a small amount of your power. Not a lot, and it'll only last a few seconds, but those seconds could amount to more than you think."

Ari nodded, listening to and taking Deaton's words seriously.

"Anything else?" Isaac asked.

"Yeah," Scott answered. "Adriana and I have to go back to Deucalion, Kali, Ethan and Aiden."

"No, dude, you're not going back with them," Stiles told him. He pointed at Adriana. "I don't know if you're for real about being one of the good ones, but, uh, going back with them isn't the way to go, Adriana."

"I made a deal with Deucalion," Scott told them.

"And I have to convince them I'm still on their side until all of this is over," Adriana told them. "And I owe him."

Stacie raised her hand. "Does anyone else think that sounds like a deal or a favor owed to the devil?"

Adriana tilted her head. "Well, maybe because it is."

Stiles gestured to Adriana. "See, even the she-devil Adriana herself agrees with us."

Adriana smirked, letting the comment go.

"Why does it matter anyway?" Isaac asked.

"Because I still don't think we can beat Jennifer without their help," Scott answered, looking to Adriana.

Adriana nodded.

Allison looked at Ari and Deaton. "They trust you two more than anyone. Tell them they're wrong."

Ari opened her mouth to agree.

Deaton overrode her voice. "I'm not sure they are. Circumstances like this sometimes require that you align yourself with people you'd normally consider enemies."

"So we're gonna trust him?" Isaac asked. "The guy that calls himself Death, Destroyer of World? I wouldn't trust that guy."

"No," Adriana told them. "Do not trust him. If you trust Deucalion, you might as well be on his side, or worse, dead."

"I wouldn't trust him, no," Deaton agreed. "But you can use him to your advantage. Deucalion may be the enemy, but he could also be the bait."

Adriana smirked again, nodding.

Ari narrowed her eyes at Adriana. "That was your guys' plan the entire time, wasn't it?"

"Uh..." Stacie trailed off awkwardly.

Allison nodded. "Yeah."

"Nice," Ari told them sarcastically, looking away.

Stiles looked down at Stacie. "You know you're insane, right, Stacie?"

Stacie looked at them innocently. "Wha--" She looked at Deaton. "It started when Adriana technically saved me from Kali at Allison's place when Jennifer took you, and they did what they did to Boyd and Natalie."

"Okay, then, are you gonna get up anytime soon?" Stiles asked.

"I stood up for 16 hours straight, and if it hadn't been for Lydia and Adri, I would've passed out by now," Stacie replied, looking up at him. "You're lucky I'm just sitting down and not sleeping."

"Adri?" Ari repeated, like she was surprised Stacie would use the nickname.

Adriana smiled a little.

Stacie pressed her lips together.

The tiny bell to the door dinged.

Deaton went out to see who it was.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Waiting Room

Ethan was standing by the door.

Deaton walked up to the desk.

Ethan sighed. "I'm looking for Lydia and Stacie."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Backroom

Everyone in the backroom recognized his voice.

Adriana looked at the others, whispering. "Ethan."

Lydia and Stacie looked at each other in confusion, wondering why Ethan would need them.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Waiting Room

Lydia, Stacie and Ari walked out into the room to face Ethan.

"What do you want?" Lydia asked.

"I need your help," Ethan answered.

Adriana was curious, walking toward the door.

Ari pushed Adriana back so she didn't get her cover blown.

Stiles leaned in around Adriana, in front of Lydia and Stacie, protective of his crush and his fraternal twin sister. "With what?"

Ethan looked at Lydia. "Stopping my brother and Kali." He looked at Stacie. "From killing Derek, Tara and their sister."

Everyone looked at Stacie.

Stacie looked at them innocently. "Why are you all looking at me when he said that?"

Ari stopped from keeping Adriana back in surprise.

Adriana stepped out into the open. "Ethan."

Ethan was surprised to see her there, but not shocked. "Adriana."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Nemeton

Sheriff, Melissa, Macey and Chris were tied to their posts, facing each other.

Macey looked at the ultrasonic emitter that Chris had put on the floor, looking up at Chris. "Still working?"

"Yeah, but not for much longer," Chris answered.

"Anyone else feeling an unbearable itch they can't scratch?" Melissa asked.

"Well, not before you said something, but now, yes, I do," Sheriff answered.

Melissa smiled. She let it fade, swallowing. "Is she actually gonna come down here and slash all of our throats?"

"Nah," Sheriff answered. "She'll come down and strangle us with a garrote and then slash our throats."

"How comforting," Macey told him sarcastically.

"Ah, that's right, I forgot where Ari learned her sarcastic humor," Sheriff told her.

Macey smiled a little, shrugging. She looked toward Chris in confusion. "I thought there were only three per sacrifice."

"There is," Chris answered. "Though, I'm supposing that she either has to have two of each parents, or it's the same reason she tried to kill Lydia."

"Or maybe both," Macey told them, sighing, sitting back.

The wind blew above them, shaking the ground, causing dust to spill over them.

"Just the wind," Chris told them.

They looked at each other cautiously.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Hale Loft - Living Room

Stacie, Tara, Derek, Lydia, Adriana, Ethan, Cora and Peter were talking.

"We know about the lunar eclipse, so don't think Kali's gonna sit around waiting for it to level the playing field," Adriana told them.

"She's coming, and my brother's coming with her," Ethan agreed.

Adriana and Ethan both looked to Stacie, silently telling her to say something.

Stacie looked at Derek. "Good enough for me. Derek?"

"You want me to run?" Derek asked.

"No," Stacie told him sarcastically, stepping closer to him. "I want you to stay and get slaughtered by an Alpha with a psychotic foot fetish. Of course I want you to run. Sprint, gallop, leap your way the hell out of this town."

"Stacie, Kali wants you dead too," Derek reminded her. "Why aren't you running, Stacie?"

"Because I have way too many people that need me," Stacie answered. "You can take your family. I can't." She gestured an innocent, expressive hand toward Adriana. "And Adriana's already saved me from Kali on more than one occasion. She can do it again."

"Listen to her," Peter told him in annoyance, as if he knew that in the end Derek would listen to Stacie anyway.

Tara sighed. "If you want to fight and die for something, that's fine with me, but do it for something meaningful."

Cora nodded, agreeing with her little sister. "What Tara said."

Derek didn't look away from Stacie.

Stacie looked back at him.

"How do you know I'm gonna lose?" Derek asked.

"We don't, but I'll bet she has an idea," Peter told them, stalking toward Lydia. "Don't you, Lydia?"

"I don't know anything," Lydia told them.

"But you feel something, don't you?" Peter asked.

"What do you feel?" Adriana asked.

"I feel like..." Lydia trailed off. "I'm standing in a graveyard."

Argent/Alpha Apartment Building - Elevator

Scott was on the phone.

Isaac, Ari and Allison stood with him.

Ari looked at Allison. "Why didn't you, Stacie or Natalie ever tell me that you guys were helping Adri?"

"Well, Adriana thought that if other people knew, everyone else would too," Allison answered. "I just..." She looked at Ari. "I wanted you to have your sister back, and yeah, we sorta became friends too."

Ari shook her head. "How long?"

"Since Adriana technically saved Stacie from being used as bait for Derek when Boyd..." Allison trailed off. "You know, everything after that with Natalie."

Ari nodded. "Ah. That would explain the whiplash."

"The what?" Isaac asked.

"Never mind," Ari told them.

"So, are you mad about it?" Allison asked hesitantly.

"Mad about what?" Ari asked.

"Well, you're just being... a little bit..." Allison trailed off, sighing. "You look like you're a little jealous about it."

"Jealous?" Ari repeated. "You, my best friend Stacie and Adri's ex-best friend and Natalie and Adri forming a secret plan that makes her go against the Alphas, risking her life and turn to the side of good, making you three know her better than I do at the moment and giving me serious whiplash?"

Isaac tried not to smile in amusement. "Yeah, more than a little jealous."

Ari sighed. "I know."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Hallway

Scott, Isaac, Ari and Allison walked off the elevator toward the door.

Scott spoke into his phone. "Just grab anything. Stiles, I'm not smelling your dad's boxers." Allison was unlocking her door. "Socks? Okay, I'll smell his socks."

"What about me?" Isaac asked.

"You can find anything in my dad's closet," Allison answered. "Anything with a strong scent."

"And see if you can get Natalie here," Ari added. "We're gonna need help."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Argent Apartment - Living Room

The four of them walked inside.

Isaac was already dialing Natalie's number, putting the phone to his ear.

They heard Natalie's phone ringer from inside the study.

Scott, Isaac, Ari and Allison exchanged a confused look. "Natalie?"

¤•¤°¤•¤

Study

Natalie was sitting at the desk.

Her phone was in front of her.

Natalie reached for the phone.

Agent McCall stood in front of her, taking the phone away. "No, Natalie."

Natalie glared at him, sitting back in her chair. She looked at the two deputies standing on either side of him on the other side of the desk full of hunter weapons.

Allison opened the door behind Natalie, freezing when she saw all of them.

"Quite an arsenal your father's got here, young lady," McCall told her. Scott stood behind Allison. McCall stood. "Scott."

"Scott, I don't like your dad, just to let you know," Natalie told him. "He took my phone so I wouldn't tell you guys not to come here."

Scott looked at McCall. "What are you doing here?"

"Following one of the only leads I have," McCall answered. "Now, since I don't know where you've been, why don't you have a seat next to Natalie? We can talk. You too, Isaac, Arielle."

Isaac and Ari appeared from behind the corner of the wall, looking at them.

"How do you know our names?" Isaac asked.

"Your names are one of the few things I know," McCall told them. "To be honest, the rest of what's going on around here has me... stumbling in the dark. Even over the smallest clue."

"If you're trying to tell me you don't have a clue, I learned that a long time ago," Scott told him, walking closer.

"I'm really hoping to avoid the embarrassment of dragging my own son into an interrogation room," McCall told him. "Really hoping."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Hale Loft - Living Room

Derek, Peter, Tara and Cora were not in the loft, but Stacie, Lydia, Adriana and Ethan were.

Stacie looked at Adriana and Ethan. "How'd you guys know Derek would listen to me? He wasn't even gonna listen to Tara, Peter and Cora."

Adriana rolled her eyes. "Are you people of Beacon Hills seriously this blind to love?" Stacie blinked. Adriana held out one hand. "Scott and Tara." She held out the other. "Ari and Isaac." She gestured to Stacie. "You and Derek."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait, Adriana," Stacie told her. "Scott and Tara? Since when?"

Adriana put a hand to her head. "Oh, my God, that's not the point. Unrequited love, those three couples. You guys really do need me on your side after all."

Stacie scoffed defensively. "Wow."

"Don't pretend like you don't feel something for him, Stacie," Adriana told her. "You know that you like him just as much as he likes you. And it's obvious that it's more than just 'like'."

Stacie didn't answer, looking away.

The alarm started to blare.

Stacie backed away toward the others.

Adriana pulled Lydia and Stacie behind her, standing in front of them protectively, next to Ethan.

Kali and Aiden walked in.

Kali looked at Stacie angrily. "Where's Derek?"

"Why are you looking at me when you ask that?" Stacie asked.

"'Cause she's not blind, like you," Adriana told her.

Stacie gave Adriana a look. "Shut up, Adriana."

Adriana shrugged.

The alarm was still blaring.

Kali kicked down the alarm box to destroy it to stop the noise and call for attention. She looked at Stacie. "Where is he and Tara? I would like to tear his sisters apart, including Tara, in front of him before I kill him."

Stacie snapped her fingers, swinging her arms, pointing at Lydia, Adriana and Ethan. "I think that they were heading out to do some shopping. Run a few errands. Usual..." She cleared her throat. "Werewolf afternoon."

"Who do you think you're talking to?" Kali asked threateningly, walking closer, barefoot to use her toe claws in combat, glaring at Stacie. "I already want you dead. You'll be just making it easier for me to tear you apart."

"Yeah, that's a little graphic from someone in a desperate need of a pedicure," Stacie told her. She looked at Lydia. "Hey, I bet Lydia can give you a referral."

"I'll be happy to give her a referral," Lydia answered.

Kali glared at them, stepping forward like she was going to hurt them.

Adriana stepped in front of Stacie and Lydia, glaring at Kali.

Kali gave Adriana a look. "Oh, really, Adriana?"

¤•¤°¤•¤

Outside

Derek, Tara and Cora were getting ready to leave, in the car.

Derek was in the driver's seat.

Tara was in the passenger seat.

Cora was in the backseat.

Peter stood outside the car.  "Don't call until you're at least 100 miles away." They didn't answer. Peter looked at them impatiently. "Go."

Derek drove them away, leaving.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Argent Apartment - Study

Ari, Allison and Natalie sat across the desk from McCall and the two deputies.

Scott and Isaac stood behind them.

Natalie took out a container of Icebreakers.

"I'm not going to lie," McCall told them. "I'm more than a little disturbed. Not only by the number of missing parents, but the fact that it's Stiles and Stacie's father..." He looked at Allison. "Your father..." He looked at Ari. "Your mother..." He looked at Scott. "And your mother."

Natalie raised her hand, pointing from herself to Isaac. "Ours are both dead."

Natalie popped an Icebreaker into her mouth.

McCall nodded. "Mm-hmm." He looked at Natalie. "And while all of your friends were MIA, you were at the house. Why is that, Natalie?"

Isaac was the one to answer. "Natalie's boyfriend died, and when Natalie grieves, Natalie gets cloudy-judgement and really aggressive and makes insane plans that Natalie would never normally do." That last part was obviously a message to Natalie that they knew and that he thought she was insane for it. Natalie looked over them in confusion and shock, knowing they knew about them and Adriana. "So I told Natalie to take it easy."

"I mean, how would you feel if your boyfriend died?" Natalie asked. She said in a hidden message to Isaac, "And wouldn't you do things you wouldn't normally do if you were desperate?"

"Natalie, save the cliched teenage apathy for your high school teachers," McCall told her. "The five of you know more than you're saying, and I'm fully willing to keep you here all night if I have to."

Natalie sighed, looking at her phone on the desk.

Hale Loft - Living Room

Kali and Adriana were circling around each other while Aiden, Ethan, Lydia and Stacie watched.

"I told Deucalion that this would happen, Adriana," Kali told her. "That you would get soft. That you would want out and back with your family and friends."

"The problem, Kali, is that I was never meant for you, for any of this," Adriana told her.

"Maybe the problem is where your loyalties lie, Adriana," Kali told her.

Lydia looked at Ethan and Stacie. "Oh, God. Is this about to get really violent?"

"Probably," Ethan told them.

"Definitely," Stacie answered.

Jennifer shattered through the sky light above them, falling to the floor.

Lydia screamed once in surprise.

Ethan grabbed Lydia and Stacie, covering both of them to make sure they were okay, and that they didn't get hurt.

Jennifer had landed in a crouched position, flinging back her hair. (slow motion)

Adriana circled around Jennifer.

Jennifer stood slowly, looking at Kali and Aiden. "So. Who wants to go first?"

(Song:) Burn the Obedient - Korn feat. Noisia

Kali tried to kick Jennifer. Jennifer pivoted back so she missed. Kali tried to kick her in the head. Jennifer ducked, making Kali spin around. Kali spun to try to kick her again. Jennifer ducked, smirking, punching her in the face, pushing Kali back with what seemed like magic, making her fall to the floor.

Aiden and Adriana circled around Jennifer.

Aiden lunged toward Jennifer to attack.

Jennifer pushed him back with what seemed like magic, making him fall to the floor.

Adriana let her eyes glow completely red and her canines grow, roaring at Jennifer angrily. Jennifer tried to punch her. Adriana flipped over her, landing on the other side of her with hand on the floor and her back facing her, turning around, standing, trying to kick Jennifer. Jennifer ducked. Adriana jumped up, slashing into Jennifer's sides with both hands. Jennifer groaned in pain and anger, pushing Adriana away with what seemed like magic, making her fall.

Stacie was looking at the bag she had brought with her.

Kali glared toward her.

Ethan stood, removing his jacket to where he was topless.

Aiden tore his shirt open, shifting, letting his eyes glow red, growling.

Ethan and Aiden started to merge.

Kali stalked toward Stacie from behind.

Stacie sensed that she was getting closer, reaching into her bag to pull out a crossbow, still kneeling to the floor, swinging around, aiming at Kali with it. (slow motion)

Kali tried to kick her.

Stacie shot an arrow into her foot,  making her back away.

Kali growled.

Stacie slid back away from Kali over the floor, still having the crossbow ready to shoot.

The twins had their arms merged together.

Jennifer walked closer, tearing the twins apart, throwing them to the sides, making them fall.

Adriana aerialed closer to Kali and Stacie.

(Song Ends)

Kali pulled the arrow out of her foot, spinning to kick the crossbow out of Stacie's hands. She realized that Jennifer was watching her, turning away from Stacie, turning to face Jennifer, gazing uneasily.

"That's right, Kali, look at me," Jennifer told her. "Look at my face. Do you know what it takes to be able to look like this? To be able to look normal?"

"I don't care," Kali replied.

Jennifer answered anyway. "It takes power. Power like this."

Jennifer held her hands above the floor.

The loft started to shake.

Glass slivers from the broken skylight rose up from the floor around her.

A storm was brewing outside. Wind was blowing in through the skylight, blowing through the girls's hair.

Kali looked dangerously at Jennifer. "I--I should've--" The glass shards were being pointed directly at Kali and Stacie behind her. "I should've ripped your head off!"

Jennifer screamed a loud, angry scream in rage.

Kali turned and grabbed Stacie from the floor, planning to use her a shield, to where Stacie would die instead of Kali.

The shards were flying toward Stacie.

"No!" Adriana told them angrily. "Stacie!"

Stacie cringed back. "Oh, my God."

Adriana ran closer, grabbing Stacie, rolling them away into safety.

Stacie was breathing heavily, looking at the two shards of glass in her left shoulder.

They watched Jennifer and Kali.

Every other piece of glass embedded themselves into Kali's body. Her skull, her brain, her neck, her heart, her stomach. She was dying, gasping for breath painfully, slowly falling to the floor, dead.

Adriana looked down at the shards in Stacie's shoulder. "You're okay. Stacie, you're okay."

Adriana reached closer to take the glass out.

"Adriana, wait," Stacie told her.

Adriana looked at her in confusion.

Stacie nodded to Jennifer behind her.

Jennifer turned to Adriana, Stacie and Lydia.

Adriana slowly helped Stacie stand.

The Twins walked closer, trying to punch Jennifer. Jennifer ducked, spinning around behind them, grabbing them by their shoulder, pulling them down, breaking their spine. (slow motion)

Adriana was in shock, having been closer to the twins than she had ever been to any of the others.

The twins fell to the floor. Blood spilled from their mouth.

Lydia and Stacie were horrified and in shock.

"What's the line that Coach like to say?" Jennifer asked. "The bigger they are..."

Stacie picked up her crossbow from the floor, tilting her head. "The bigger they are."

Stacie shot an arrow into Jennifer's shoulder.

Jennifer smirked in amusement, pulling the arrow out, tossing it down, flicking her hand to the side, using magic to throw the crossbow out of Stacie's grasp, making it hit against the wall across the room and fall to the floor. She walked closer.

Adriana let her eyes glow completely red angrily, growling, running closer. Jennifer tried to push Adriana away. Adriana spun out of the way, punching Jennifer in the head, trying to punch her again. Jennifer caught her arm, breaking it, forcing her to her knees.

Adriana headbutted Jennifer in the stomach, making her let go, spinning to face her, standing. "I know why you have to kill my mother, the same reason you tried to kill Lydia. They are the only family ties that keep Ari and me together. You kill them, bond breaks, and no one except Deucalion can defeat you."

"Smart girl, Adriana," Jennifer complimented. "And if Arielle were here with you now, with you both fighting against me, I know you could. But I think I have a better idea than breaking your bond now, Adriana."

Jennifer tried to punch her. Adriana ducked, kicking Jennifer in the face, slashing into her chest, making her groan in pain. Jennifer spun around to punch Adriana with the force that had been magnified by ten just to send her away from her.

Adriana was thrown into the wall, back-first. The wall started to crumble behind her. The pieces fell with Adriana to the floor, keeping her weak and pinned to the floor. (slow motion)

Stacie was in complete shock and denial. "Oh, my God."

"Adri," Lydia cried in a whisper. "No."

"You know what they say," Jennifer told them, turning to face the girls. "The most powerful goes down last. And Adriana's very powerful. Adriana might not even be dead. I never thought that I could kill Adriana. Maybe I didn't."

Jennifer looked at Stacie murderously, walking closer.

Stacie drew a gun with her right hand, as her left shoulder was still punctured by the glass. She shot Jennifer in the chest, making her take a step back.

Jennifer smirked, taking the next step forward.

Allison, Ari and Natalie were still sitting across from McCall and the two deputies.

Scott and Isaac stood behind them.

Ari held her head in pain as if it severely hurt.

The others looked at her in concern.

Ari shook her head.

Allison, Ari and Natalie sat across from McCall and the two deputies.

Scott and Isaac stood behind them.

"You can't keep us here," Scott told him.

"Not without a warrant," Ari agreed, ignoring the pain.

"I've got a deskfull of probable cause," McCall told them.

Allison stood. "My dad is a highly respected security consultant and federally licensed firearms dealer. That means he has to own a few weapons." She pointed at one of them. "Like this 175 pound draud tactical crossbow." She looked back at Scott, Isaac, Ari and Natalie. "Stacie's favorite." She pointed at another weapon. "Or this carbon steeled Marine combat knife. .50 A.E Desert Eagle. Hmm." She reached down to one of the cans on the desk. "Smoke grenade with pull ring igniter." She tore off the top, throwing it down, starting to run around Natalie. "Go."

Natalie stood, grabbing her phone from the desk, following after Allison.

Scott, Ari and Isaac followed.

The deputies and McCall were coughing at the smoke grenade.

"Scott, wait!" McCall told him.

They ran out, leaving.

Hale Loft - Living Room

Jennifer advanced on Stacie and Lydia.

Stacie continued to shoot Jennifer.

Jennifer rushed closer, taking the gun, pushing the glass further into Stacie's left shoulder, making her groan in pain, turning Stacie's left wrist painfully, twisting it so far the bones were protesting, twisting even more, breaking it, making Stacie gasp in pain. She continued to twist the broken wrist, breaking it more, making Stacie groan a scream of pain.

Lydia breathed heavily. "Stacie!"

Jennifer looked toward Lydia, gripping Stacie by her throat tightly, finally letting go of her wrist. "Now I know why he loves you, Stacie. You fight back."

Jennifer threw the gun behind her head, making it fall, pushing Stacie to the other side of the loft, making her fall to the floor.

Stacie landed badly on her already broken wrist, groaning in pain, gasping, holding her wrist to her chest.

Jennifer cornered Lydia against the wall.

"What do you want from me?" Lydia asked desperately.

Stacie looked up worriedly.

"I want you to do what you do best, Lydia," Jennifer answered. "I want you to scream."

Jennifer morphed into the Darach, screeching.

Lydia screamed as loud as she could.

Stacie put her hand to her ears in pain.

On the Road - Derek's Car

Derek was driving.

Tara was in the passenger seat.

Cora was in the backseat.

They were almost out of Beacon Hills when they heard Lydia's scream.

Derek pulled over.

"Tara, what the hell was that?" Cora asked.

"Lydia," Tara answered. "She, Adriana and Stacie are in trouble."

"Tara, are you sure that's who that was and that's what that means?" Cora asked.

"Yeah," Tara answered.

"We have to go back," Derek told them, turning them around to drive back the way they had came.

Tara sighed worriedly.

Hale Loft - Living Room

Stacie pushed herself up from the floor bravely.

Jennifer walked closer, chuckling in amusement. "Too bad your wolfsbane bullets don't have an effect on me. You have a good shot. You could stand a chance, Stacie."

Jennifer took a threatening step closer, looking as if she wanted to kill Stacie.

Stacie tilted her head. "Wolfsbane doesn't work on you. But I know what does."

Stacie drew another gun, shooting Jennifer in the chest.

Unlike the wolfsbane, this had an effect, causing her to hiss in pain and anger.

Jennifer composed herself, looking at Stacie. "Mistletoe bullets. Can't say that I'm not impressed."

Jennifer walked closer to Stacie angrily.

Stacie glared at her, clearly in pain, though she fired her gun at her.

Natalie, Allison and Isaac drove up in Allison's car.

Scott and Ari drove up on their bikes.

They all got out or off.

Allison looked at Scott. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah," Scott answered. "I didn't know what to say to him. I couldn't come up with anything. But what you did was awesome."

"No kidding," Natalie told them. "And while you guys were doing whatever the hell it was that found the parents, I was sitting there, trying to tell you not to come but he took my phone. It looks like I missed all of the fun."

"Natalie, what's what you get when you can't think clearly enough that you attack the twins and make a deal with Adriana," Isaac told her.

"A, the twins deserved it," Natalie told them. "B, how the hell did you guys find out about the deal with Adriana?"

"Adriana fessed up because tonight's the night Adriana said it's all supposed to go down, Natalie," Ari answered.

"Thank God," Natalie told them. She looked at her phone. "I still haven't gotten anything from Adriana, Stiles or Stacie. Have you?"

"No, Natalie," Ari answered, shaking her head.

"I don't get it," Scott admitted.

"Well, we can't wait for them," Isaac told them. "Come on."

Ari started to walk in the direction of the beacon.

The others followed.

Beacon of Beacon Hills

Scott, Ari, Natalie, Allison and Isaac stood on the beacon, looking over the town.

Deucalion walked closer. "Cutting it a little close, aren't we, Scott?"

Natalie glared at him.

Isaac put a hand on her shoulder to keep her calm. "Natalie..."

"Got a little delayed," Scott told him. "Where're Adriana and the others?"

"Occupying themselves with other pursuits," Deucalion answered.

"So it's just you and me against her?" Scott asked.

"Well, I would very much like it if Arielle would join us tonight," Deucalion told them. "It would perhaps spare Adriana from punishment for her betrayal."

"So you're saying if I don't help you, you'll kill Adriana?" Ari asked guardedly.

"I wouldn't say that," Deucalion told them, but they knew it was a lie. "I think you'd both be surprised at what a good team we'd make."

Scott and Ari looked at Natalie, Isaac and Allison.

"Okay, get Stiles," Scott told them. "Stacie and Adriana will get here soon. And then get to the root cellar. Okay, we'll keep Jennifer away long enough for you to get them out of there."

"How are you gonna do that?" Isaac asked.

"We have a plan," Ari told them.

Scott and Ari left with Deucalion.

Natalie, Isaac and Allison watched them go worriedly.

Hale Loft - Living Room

Lydia was taking cover behind the table, wincing at every gunshot she heard.

Stacie backed away from Jennifer as much as she could, shooting her with the mistletoe bullets, making her hiss in pain. She shot Jennifer in the head. The bullet wedged in her skin and bone on her forehead, but already trying to heal, the bullet was pushed back out.

Jennifer was starting to change out of anger, morphing into the Darach, screeching in anger and pain, whipping Stacie's arm to the side, making her drop her gun, driving the two shards of glass into her shoulder even more deeply, making her cry out in pain, gripping her throat, lifting her off the floor.

Stacie couldn't breathe, gasping for breathe.

Lydia stood, looking at the Darach, begging. "Let her go. Let her go, please."

Lydia took a few steps closer.

Stacie shook her head as much as she could to stop her. "Lydia, no." The Darach morphed into Jennifer, tightening her grip on Stacie's throat. Stacie struggled to breathe. "Let... me... go."

Derek appeared to their side. "Let her go." Cora walked in toward Lydia, kneeling next to her. Tara walked in, watching warily. Derek glared at Jennifer. "I said, let. Her. Go."

Jennifer hesitated, letting Stacie go.

Stacie fell to her knees, holding her throat gently, coughing, gasping for air.

Derek knelt next to her, placing a hand on her back gently, wrapping the other around the shards of glass in her shoulder, slowly, steadily pulling them out, making her groan in pain, dropping them to the floor.

Tara looked around the room. She looked from Derek and Stacie to Jennifer, to the wolfsbane bullet-filled gun by the wall of windows, to the mistletoe bullet-filled gun a few feet in front of her, to the crossbow a few feet to her left, to a dead Kali with glass entering every part of her, to the Alpha Twins with a broken spine, to where Adriana was lying face down on the floor with wall plaster and stone lying around and on her, to the huge hole in the wall above her, to Cora and Lydia.

Derek looked around.

Stacie was holding her shoulder and broken wrist in pain.

Tara looked at Jennifer incredulously. "What are you doing?"

Jennifer looked at Derek. "I'm doing this for him, Tara."

"You did this for me?" Derek repeated.

"For us," Jennifer told him. "For anyone who's ever been their victim."

Derek stood, glaring at her. "Stop talking to me like a politician. Stop trying to convince me of your cause."

"Fine," Jennifer told him. "I'll convince you of someone else's. Scott, Arielle, Adriana." She paused, looking down to Stacie, then up to Derek again. "Stacie. You can save their mothers, her and Stiles' father."

"How?" Derek asked angrily.

"I need a guardian," Jennifer told him. "That's a role that could either be filled by the parents I was forced to take." Stacie scoffed painfully at the word 'forced'. Jennifer ignored her completely. "Or by you."

"I can't help you," Derek told her. "I'm not even an Alpha anymore."

"All I need is for you to help me get Deucalion at the right place at the right time," Jennifer told him.

"You just killed four of them on your own," Derek told her. "What do you need me for?"

"I killed three," Jennifer told them. "Adriana's a lot stronger than the others are. Adriana's nearly as strong as Deucalion, she's just not at her strongest unless she's bounded with her sister. Adriana's not dead, she's unconscious. And you haven't seen Deucalion at his strongest. I have. And if he's got Scott and Arielle with him, I don't stand a chance. Unless I have you."

"No, don't trust her," Cora told him.

Jennifer went on. "I have the eclipse in my favor, but the moon's only gonna be in the earth's amberal shadow for 15 minutes. That's the extent of my window. There's no decision to struggle with. Help me kill him, and the others live. Just help me."

Derek didn't answer for the longest time, looking to Stacie.

Stacie looked up at him, knowing the split decision.

Tara walked closer. "Derek, are you forgetting that you're not at full strength yet, even for a Beta?" Derek, Jennifer and Stacie looked at her. "Out of all of us, I am the only who is. You'll get hurt or get yourself killed."

"That's why I'm asking you, too, Tara," Jennifer told her.

Tara looked at her in confusion. "What are you talking about?"

"I'm asking for your help too, Tara," Jennifer repeated. "With you on our side, Scott won't be very inclined to fight you."

"We've fought before," Tara told her.

"Tara, he wouldn't ever really hurt you, just like I know you wouldn't ever really hurt him," Jennifer told her. "You both care too much."

Tara didn't like being called out like that. "I don't care about anyone but my family."

"That's a lie, and we all know it," Jennifer told her. "Just help me, Tara."

"Why would I?" Tara asked incredulously.

"Tara, it will save them all," Jennifer answered.

Tara glared at her.

The storm was wild.

Allison led the way with Isaac and Natalie following.

"Are you sure we're going in the right direction?" Isaac asked.

"I know we're near it," Allison answered. "Natalie, do you think you can pick up a scent?"

"No, I'm trying," Natalie told them. "But I can't..." She stopped, hearing the ultrasonic emitter. She grabbed Allison's arm. "I hear something."

"It's an emitter," Isaac told her, looking at Allison. "One of your dad's."

"Are you sure?" Allison asked.

"It has to be," Isaac told them.

They ran toward the sound, around a brush, coming upon the Nemeton.

Natalie saw the door in the ground across the way. "Guys."

Allison ran toward the doors, opening them, walking downstairs.

Natalie and Isaac walked downstairs.

The wind picked up outside behind them.

The ground started to cave in.

Sheriff, Melissa, Macey and Chris were tied to their posts, facing each other.

Allison, Natalie and Isaac ran downstairs.

Allison ran toward her father. "Thank God."

"You found us," Chris told them.

"Where's Stiles?" Sheriff asked.=. "Where's Stacie? Where're my kids?"

"And Scott?" Melissa asked.

"And Ari and Adri?" Macey finished.

"They're coming, all right?" Isaac asked.

Natalie nodded. "They're on their way to help."

Natalie knelt next to Macey, using her claws to slice through the ropes tying her, freeing her.

Macey looked at her in relief. "Thank you, Natalie."

Natalie managed a small smile. "It's okay, Macey."

The ground continued to cave.

They watched in horrified shock.

Cora and Lydia stood alone among the Alphas on the floor.

"We have to get going," Cora told her. "Lydia, we can get help."

"But who?" Lydia asked.

"I don't know, but we can't stay here," Cora told her.

Adriana was starting to wake up. She steadied herself to push herself up from the floor, still weak but healing. She pushed herself up. The wall crumbles fell off of her slowly at first.

Lydia and Cora turned to face her, looking at her in disbelief.

Adriana pushed herself up. The rest of the wall pieces fell off of her to the floor. The dust and dirt clung to various places in her hair, on her skin and clothes. (slow motion)

Lydia looked at Adriana in complete relief, running into her arms. "Adri. I didn't know if she was telling the truth when she said you were still alive, Adriana, but I should've."

Adriana held onto Lydia, smiling a small smile, chuckling weakly. "I'm tougher than I look."

They heard the splitting of Aiden and Ethan. Aiden rolled onto the floor.

Adriana, Lydia and Cora turned toward them, walking toward them, kneeling next to them.

Cora sighed. "They're alive, too."

Jennifer, Derek and Tara stood together.

Jennifer was looking at her phone to keep track of how long the lunar eclipse was away.

Less than 30 minutes.

There was a new MMS from "Arielle Martin".

Jennifer frowned in confusion, opening the message.

The video call showed the spiral Ennis had made in the distillery.

Scott was standing in front of the spiral."You see this symbol? It's a symbol of revenge."

The video turned to look at Ari. "You talk about balance, about saving people. We know what you really want. And now you know where to find us."

Allison was untying her father.

Isaac slashed his claws through Sheriff's ropes, freeing him.

Natalie slashed her claws through Melissa's ropes, freeing her.

 "Hurry!" Isaac told them.

One of the many tables in the root cellar was toppling over, nearly hitting Sheriff.

Sheriff ducked out of the way.

Everything was toppling now.

Melissa screamed.

Natalie grabbed Melissa and Macey. "Come on, let's get out of here!"

The stairs that led them down here, the only way up and down, only way in and out, were falling apart.

Now they didn't have a way out.

Stacie was running down the road, slowing to a stop when she saw the Jeep crashed against the Jeep. "Oh, my God. No. Stiles!" She ran toward the Jeep, to the driver's seat, pulling the door open. Stiles was still unconscious. "No." Stacie grabbed his shoulder, trying to wake him. "Stiles, wake up. You have to wake up." She had tears in her eyes. "Stiles, not you, too. Please wake up. Stiles." She started to cry. "Stiles!"

Lydia and Deaton looked at Adriana knowingly.

Deucalion, Scott and Ari were waiting.

A silhouette walked toward them. The form divided into three. Jennifer, Derek and Tara walked in.

Scott and Ari looked from each other to Deucalion in disbelief, looking at Derek and Tara.

"What are you doing?" Scott asked.

"This might be hard to believe, but we're actually trying to help you," Tara told them.

"Ooh, like brother against brother, sister against sister," Deucalion mused. "The potential True Alpha and the youngest Hale already having unresolved feelings to begin with." Tara tilted her head toward the floor to avoid all of the stares. Ari looked at Scott, who was looking only at Tara. "How very American this is." Deucalion turned his attention away from them. "Are you ready, Jennifer? Hmm?" He removed his glasses, folding his cane, placing it aside, taking off his jacket. "Did you gather your herbs, pray to your ancient gods and your oak trees, slit a baby's throat, perhaps?" He started to change. Hair was growing on his cheeks. His eyes were glowing red. His ears were pointed. He walked closer to Jennifer. "Should we show them why you needed to sacrifice nine innocent people... just to face me? Or is it 13 now?"

Deucalion had changed entirely, his skin completely black.

The others stared in utter shock and surprise.

Deucalion ran forward with a growl.

"It's blocked," Chris told them. He looked at Isaac and Natalie. "What do you see? Anything?"

Isaac and Natalie shook their heads.

One of the walls started to cave in.

"Get down!" Natalie told them. Everyone was leaning, laying on the ground. Isaac was about to be crushed. Natalie looked at him worriedly. "Isaac!"

Natalie pulled Isaac down next to the others.

"Natalie, I'm okay," Isaac told her.

The ground was completely sinking down now.

"Melissa, go, go, go," Sheriff told her, ushering her away.

Chris led Allison and Macey out of the way of the sinking ground into safety.

Natalie looked at Isaac. "Help me."

Natalie stood, placing two hands on the pillar above them to keep it up, trying to with everything that she had.

Isaac stood, helping Natalie keep it above their heads so no one would get crushed. "Natalie..."

Derek was completely shifted, letting his eyes glow blue, growling. He ran toward Deucalion, slashing toward him. Deucalion caught his arm. Derek tried to slash into him. Deucalion caught his other arm.

Jennifer walked closer, sending her hand into his chest in an attempt to use magic to throw him, but nothing happened. She was in disbelief.

Deucalion gripped both Derek and Jennifer by their throats, raising them from the floor.

Tara stood behind Derek and Jennifer, between them, jumping up to kick both legs into Deucalion's chest, making him let them go and making them fall to the floor, twirling through the air toward the floor, landing in a crouch, standing. Deucalion stood. Tara slashed toward him. Deucalion threw Tara back into a pile of tire. Tara rolled off onto the floor. Deucalion pushed Derek across the room, making him fall. Jennifer stood to face Deucalion. Deucalion backhand punched her in the face, pushing her to the floor.

Scott and Ari looked from Tara next to the ties, to Derek across the room, to Deucalion and Jennifer.

Deucalion pulled Jennifer up from the floor, walking closer to Scott and Ari, pushing Jennifer to her knees. "Kill her." They didn't move. "Do it." They didn't move. Deucalion roared loudly. Scott and Ari fell to the their knees, groaning in pain. They looked up, shifting. Scott's eyes were glowing gold. Ari's eyes were glowing blue. "Now kill her. Your parents are dying. That storm you hear? She's burying them alive. It's her connection to the terrluric currents. Kill her, and it ends."

"It won't end," Jennifer told them. "Not with me. He'll have you both kill everyone you love. It's what he does."

"They're dying," Deucalion told him. "Your mothers, and the parents of your best friends. Kill her now and it's over. Become the Alphas you're meant to be. Become killers. Like Adriana."

"They're not dead yet," Ari told him, rising to her feet. "Adriana only became a killer because you and the darkness inside Adriana made her to be one. Adriana and our friends and family can still be saved."

"And who's going to save them?" Deucalion asked in mock. "Your friends?"

Scott glared at him. "Our pack."

Deaton was putting breathing masks on either Ethan and Aiden's faces, taking a syringe, injecting either of them with a liquid. He turned to face Adriana. "You can help save their lives, Adriana. Just do the same thing you did with Arielle before you saved your mother. Give them just a little of your power."

Adriana nodded, taking both Ethan and Aiden by the hand. She took a deep breath, giving them power. Dark gold veins trailed from her hands into theirs. Her eyes were glowing completely red. Beta blue was trying to push its way into the Alpha red.

Deucalion rushed toward Scott and Ari. "Maybe you need a little guidance." Ari could feel Adriana giving her power away, gasping in pain. Deucalion realized what was happening, smirking. "It's happening."

Deucalion took Ari by either of her arms, breaking them, making her groan in pain. It was almost like he was taking pain, although the veins that passed between them were gold, suggesting he was taking her power, making her grow weaker.

Ari's eyes were still glowing blue. Alpha red tried to push its way into her Beta blue.

Ari's eyes were still glowing. The blue and the red intertwined.

Scott looked at them worriedly. He stepped closer, looking at Deucalion. "I forgot to tell you something. Something that Gerard told me."

"'Deucalion... isn't always blind'," Ari told him weakly.

Scott threw a flare onto the floor.

Scott and Ari closed and covered their eyes.

The flare sparked wildly.

Derek and Tara closed and covered their eyes.

Deucalion had to let go of Ari.

Ari fell to the floor on her knees. The blue and the red were still swirling in her eyes.

Deucalion looked around wildly, trying to see.

Ari was still kneeling on the floor. The blue and the red in her eyes caved in on themselves, forming another color. The irises of her eyes glowed purple. She exhaled in a gust, weak.

Then they were all normal. No one was shifted.

"The eclipse," Deucalion told them. "It's started."

They looked toward Jennifer.

She was gone.

"Oh, no," Scott told them.

They looked at each other worriedly.

Nemeton

Natalie and Isaac were still trying to hold the Nemeton over the others The lunar eclipse took their powers. They had to lower with the Nemeton.

"We can't do it," Natalie told them. "We can't hold it, we can't hold it."

"Help," Isaac told them.

Allison, Chris, Macey, Sheriff and Melissa were all trying to hold it up too.

Allison groaned in pain. "It's too heavy."

Stiles and Stacie slid inside.

Stacie put a cinder block on the ground.

Stiles put an aluminum bat over the cinder block and up to the top of the Nemeton.

The cinder block and the bat held the ground up from them.

"I always said aluminum was better than wood," Sheriff told them.

Stacie and Stiles embraced Sheriff in relief, holding their father close to them.

Everyone sighed in relief.

Distillery

Ari, Scott, Deucalion, Tara and Derek were powerless.

The Darach walked inside. She pushed Scott into the wall, making him fall, throwing Ari across the room, making her fall. She easily took Deucalion down, repeatedly beating his head against the floor.

Derek ran closer. "Jennifer! He doesn't know."

"Know what?" the Darach asked incredulously.

"What you really look like," Derek answered. "He knows the cost of bringing Kali into into his pack, but he's never seen the price you paid."

The Darach hesitated. "No. No, he hasn't." He put her hand over his eyes, healing him, making him scream before he was completely healed. "Turn to me." Deucalion didn't move. "Turn to me!"

Deucalion turned to the Darach.

The Darach morphed back into Jennifer. She fell to the floor.

Derek walked closer.

"What is this?" Jennifer asked.

"Healing him made you weak, just like healing Cora did to me," Derek answered. "You won't have your strength for at least a few minutes."

"Then you do it," Jennifer told him. "Kill him."

"No," Derek told her.

"What?" Jennifer asked.

"Like my mother used to say, I'm a predator," Derek told her. "I don't have to be a killer." He gripped Jennifer by her throat. "Let them go."

Jennifer glared at him, backhand punching him in the face, slamming him against the ground.

Tara stood.

Ari was still weak from Deucalion taking her power.

Jennifer punched Derek repeatedly in the face.

Tara walked closer, pulling Jennifer away from Derek, pushing her away. Jennifer gripped Tara by her shirt, pushing her against the wall, slamming her against it repeatedly, trying to use the magic force to hurt her, but she was too weak to.

The lunar eclipse ended.

Tara felt her power surging through her again, letting her eyes glow blue. "Your 15 minutes are up."

Tara pushed Jennifer off of her to the ground, kicking her in the stomach, punching her in the face.

Derek and Ari stood.

Jennifer looked around them, standing, throwing a circle of Mountain Ash around her, to keep them out. "Like I told you, Derek, either you and Tara or the parents. Tara, I guess I'll just have to take them now. In a few minutes, they'll be dead, and I won't need a lunar eclipse, even to kill a demon wolf." Scott stood levelly outside of the barrier, starting to push, making it glow. "You've tried this before, Scott." Jennifer looked at Ari. "As have you, Arielle. I don't remember either of you having much success."

"Do you remember Adriana almost pushing through?" Ari asked breathlessly.

Jennifer showed actual fear.

Scott pushed harder against the barrier. The potential deaths of everyone they loved and cared about was motivation enough for the glowing gold in his eyes to turn red. He pushed through the Mountain Ash, breaking through the seal.

The force of Scott breaking the seal made Jennifer fall to the floor.

Jennifer, Deucalion, Derek and Tara looked at Scott in disbelief.

"How did you do that?" Jennifer asked.

Ari used the words Adriana had once explained on how she broke through when they had to save their mother. "Like Adriana said. Find a weakness..."

"And push through," Scott finished. He took a deep breath. "I'm an Alpha now. Whatever you're doing to cause the storm, make it stop, or I'll kill you myself. I don't care what it does to the color of my eyes."

"It won't change the color of mine, so allow me," Deucalion told them, walking past them to slash Jennifer's throat.

Jennifer gasped, choking for air. She transformed repeatedly between the Darach and Jennifer, but as she died, she looked like the monster that she truly was.

Nemeton

Everyone was still inside. They heard the storm outside stop.

Natalie looked around.

"Is it over?" Allison asked.

Natalie and Isaac embraced.

"It's okay, Natalie," Isaac told her.

Stiles, Stacie and Sheriff laughed.

Macey and Melissa sighed in relief.

Chris held Allison. Chris and Macey looked at each other in relief, sharing small smiles.

They looked at each other in relief.

Beacon Hills Animal Clinic - Backroom

Adriana was still, weak after fighting Jennifer, almost dying and then loaning her power to the twins. She had to sit, leaning against the wall.

Cora was helping Ethan.

Lydia was standing next to Aiden.

"I knew," Aiden told her.

"What?" Lydia asked.

"I knew you liked me," Aiden told her.

Adriana smiled a small smile, sighing, leaning her head against the wall.

Lydia looked at Adriana, waking closer, sitting down next to her. "Are you okay, Adri?"

"I will be," Adriana answered.

Lydia hesitated. "I thought you died, Adriana. Don't ever scare me like that again, Adri."

Adriana gave her a small smile, leaning her head against Lydia's shoulder.

Nemeton

Everyone was still trapped.

Stiles's phone rang. He answered. "Scott?"

"Hey," Scott told him. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, we're okay," Stiles answered. "We're all okay. How about you and Ari? You guys okay?"

Scott was still in the distillery, looking toward Ari.

Ari was listening to the phone conversation, shrugging, looking away.

Scott chuckled. "Sort of."

Stacie took the phone from Stiles, causing Sheriff and Melissa to chuckle. "You think you guys could come get us?"

"Yeah, Stace, of course," Scott answered.

"Great, okay, uh..." Stacie trailed off. "Um, bring a latter." All of the parents were laughing. Allison, Isaac and Natalie smiled a little. Stiles wrapped one arm around Stacie's shoulders in a hug. "Oh, and, uh, does Deaton have casts?"

Ari was still listening, frowning in confusion, holding her hand out for the phone.

Scott handed it to Ari.

Ari put the phone to her ear to speak to Stacie in confusion. "Why, Stace?"

"Oh, hey, Ari, nice to hear from you too," Stacie told her. "And you'll see."

Distillery

Derek, Scott, Ari and Tara turned to Deucalion.

"Our mother told me you were a man of vision once," Derek told him.

"We're letting you go because we hope you can be that man again," Scott told him.

"But if you're not, then having your eyesight back won't matter," Ari told him.

"Because you'll never see us coming," Tara told him.

They turned away, walking out, leaving.

Outside

(Song:) Invincible - Ruelle

Tara walked outside toward her car.

Scott watched Derek and Ari head another way, hesitating, walking toward Tara. "Tara..."

Tara sighed. "Don't wanna talk about it."

"Why?" Scott asked.

Tara turned to face him. "What do you want from me?"

"To do what you do best, Tara," Scott answered. "Being so painfully honest, not caring about who it hurts."

"Why is it suddenly so important for everyone to know that I do in fact care about something instead of not giving a damn?" Tara asked.

"Tara, if you're not caring, you're not living," Scott answered. That brought Tara to silence. Scott stepped closer. "And it's not as sudden as you make it seem, Tara, and you know that. I've felt it before now, and I know you have too. You try to push it away. And if that's what you want to do, that's fine with me."

"Love is just another weakness neither of us really need right now," Tara told him.

Scott stopped in front of her. "Tara, is that what you really believe?"

Tara looked up to him, not knowing how to answer. "What I believe is that I've never felt anything like this before. And that's why it scares the hell out of me."

Scott slowly nodded. "I get it. I'll leave you alone, if that's what you want. But you should know that there's more to life than what you're living, Tara."

Scott looked at her for a moment, turning around, walking away.

Tara watched him go, not knowing how to take this.

Day Two

Morning - Hale Loft - Living Room

The door was open.

Stacie walked in. Her left arm was in a rainbow colored cast with tiger print drawn onto it.

Derek was in the middle of the living room, packing a bag. He had his back to the door, and therefore Stacie, but he knew she was there. "What are you doing here?"

Stacie walked down the steps, closer to him. "Just came to say goodbye." Derek turned to face her. "Mainly, because I heard a few things from Ethan, Jennifer and Adriana."

"Kind of figured," Derek told her. Stacie looked down. "You know what I heard about you, Adriana, Natalie and Allison?"

"Oh, can everyone just get over that?" Stacie asked. "If we hadn't done the things we had done, we'd still have psycho Alphas and..."

"My psycho ex?" Derek guessed. "You've spoken your mind for the last few months, out bursting. Why stop now?" Stacie didn't answer, looking down. "But about what they said... You just wanted to know if it's true."

"Is it?" Stacie asked, looking up.

Derek looked at her for a moment, nodding. "Yes. It is. I love you." Stacie took a deep breath. "You're not surprised by the fact. You're just surprised to hear me say it."

"Yeah," Stacie agreed.

"I've tried not to for... who knows how long," Derek told her.

"Why?" Stacie asked.

Derek blinked. "What? What do you mean?"

"Why do you love me?" Stacie asked. "Why did you hide it? Porque?" Derek hid a smile at the word in Spanish. "I mean, 'why'. I know the word in three other languages other than English and Spanish, too. Do you wanna hear it?" Derek smirked at her nervous sarcasm. Stacie slowly shook her head, lowering her gaze, sighing. "I'm inappropriate, I always say the wrong thing at the worst times imaginable. Rude. Sarcastic doesn't even begin to describe my humor. I'm weak and..." She looked up to his wondering eyes, willing her to go on. "Human."

"That's why," Derek told her. "And as for the weak part..." He shook his head. "You're one of the strongest people I've met."

Stacie sighed. "Then why hide it?"

Derek sighed, shaking his head. "Everyone I get close to, or who I care about, or everyone that gets close to me, or whoever cares about me, they either get hurt or worse. And it's always my fault." He reached down, grabbing Stacie's thin casted wrist, moving her jean jacket to show the sixteen stitches in her shoulder from the glass the night before, lying his thumb over them, touching them so gently. "These? These were nothing."

"Weren't your fault," Stacie told him, pulling her arm away, but his hand still rested on her shoulder.

"Kali tried to use you as a shield because you helped kill Ennis, and she's tried to use you as leverage against me multiple times," Derek told her. "Jennifer went after you to get to me. It's completely my fault."

"I don't see it that way," Stacie told him.

"I do," Derek told her. "I don't want this for you."

"Don't I get a choice?" Stacie asked.

Derek shook his head. "Not if this way keeps you safe."

"I'll be safe," Stacie told him.

"You don't know that," Derek stressed.

Stacie tilted her head. "I know what you're trying to do. You're trying to get me to hate you."

"Is it working?" Derek asked.

Stacie shook her head. "No."

"It's better if you do," Derek told her.

Stacie scoffed. "After everything, I've never hated you. And I didn't get why. I thought I was just mentally insane. I think I might be. But not everything is your fault. 'Cause even when you leave this town, and if you don't come back, we'll both know the truth. After everything that's happened, everyone could use a break. You need a break from the guilt. Reconnect with Cora. Maybe Tara could break through her cold, ice barrier. Go swimming with the fishes or singing to the stars. I don't care. Even if you never come back..."

Stacie couldn't finish, sighing.

They heard something from upstairs, looking toward the ceiling.

Derek sighed. "I should go."

Stacie sighed, nodding, looking down. "Yeah." Derek looked as if he didn't want to move, turning to the bag on the floor, picking it up by its strap, looking at her for a moment, walking past her. Stacie was debating something, acting on an impulse she couldn't ignore, turning after him, grabbing his arm that didn't have the bag, pulling him back. Derek let the bag fall, turning to face her, placing a hand on her cheek, the other on her waist. They kissed slowly and passionately for a long moment that didn't seem to end. They finally pulled away, just a little, remaining close, breathing slightly heavily. They slowly opened their eyes to look at each other. "You might not come back. So, what the hell?" Derek chuckled. "That proves it."

"Proves what?" Derek asked.

"I'm not the only one wanting this," Stacie answered.

Derek and Stacie looked at each other for a moment, pulling away from the touch. His hand slowly let go of hers. They smiled small smiles.

Stacie walked past him toward the door, stopping just as she was about to leave, looking over her shoulder toward Derek.

Derek turned to look at her, nodding, understanding the silence.

They both sighed.

Stacie turned back to the door, taking a deep breath, walking out, leaving.

Argent Apartment - Study

Chris was packing up the weapons.

Allison stood in the doorway. "Back to storage?"

"That's the plan," Chris told her.

Allison walked closer. "What if I've got a different plan?" Chris turned to face her curiously. "Deaton said that what we did in order to find you, he said that it might draw thing here. Make Beacon Hills kind of a beacon again."

"I hope not," Chris told her.

"I was thinking that maybe I should be prepared," Allison told him. "Learn to be a better fighter, and learn all the things that you can still teach me."

"And maybe a few things more," Chris told her.

"But we're going to have a new code," Allison told him. She spoke in French. "Nous protegeons ceux qui ne peuvent pas se proteger eux-memes."

Chris translated the French into English, smiling proudly. "'We protect those who cannot protect themselves'."

Hale Loft - Living Room

Derek, Tara and Cora walked toward the door. They each had a bag over their shoulders.

Scott: (voice over) "I honestly don't know if Tara's ever coming back, and a part of me hopes so."

Derek, Tara and Cora stopped at the door, looking over the loft.

Scott: (voice over) "But another part hopes that maybe Tara'll be okay somewhere else."

Derek, Tara and Cora walked out, leaving.

Ari/Adriana/Macey's House - Kitchen

(Song:) Kids - Mikky Ekko

Ari, Adriana and Macey were standing together.

Ari and Macey were welcoming her back home, embracing Adriana. Adriana smiled, returning the embrace.

Scott: (voice over) "Adriana? Adriana's already working for her forgiveness and redemption. After saving Lydia and Stacie, she's already on her way."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Beacon Hills High School - Hallway

Adriana, Ari, Stacie, Allison, Lydia and Natalie walked in.

Everyone was shocked to see Adriana there with the other girls.

Adriana smirked, walking through the hallway.

Scott: (voice over) "Adriana's getting back to a halfway normal life. Although, it's not that easy."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Empty Classroom

McCall was questioning Adriana about her disappearance.

Adriana looked at him in boredom.

Scott: (voice over) "Especially when all everyone wants to know is what happened and how Adriana's back. My dad doesn't look like he's gonna be leaving for a while. But just because he's staying..."

Adriana forced a smile, standing, walking out, leaving.

Scott: (voice over) "Doesn't mean he's welcome."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Hallway

Natalie was walking alone.

Scott walked in, seeing Natalie. "Hey, Natalie. How are you doing, Natalie?"

Natalie nodded. "I'm fine."

Scott tilted his head. "Natalie..."

Natalie sighed. "I'll be fine."

Natalie walked along.

Scott: (voice over) "Natalie's still healing from what happened to Boyd. It'll take a little while, but we think Natalie will be okay."

Stiles and Stacie walked into the hallway.

Scott: (voice over) "We feel it every day, just like you said we would, and it makes me think about the quote Jennifer used to start our first class."

Scott looked around the hallway.

Scott: (voice over) "Because when I feel it, yeah, it's like... I'm looking into the heart of an immense darkness."

Scott saw Lydia and Aiden standing at the side of the hallway, leaning against a locker.

Deaton: (voice over) "So what do you do instead?"

Ethan and Danny walked out of a classroom.

Scott: (voice over) "I look for my friends."

Isaac and Ari walked down the stairs, smiling, laughing. They looked at each other for a moment, leaning closer to kiss slowly and passionately and sweetly.

Allison, Adriana and Natalie were talking at Natalie's locker.

Stiles, Stacie and Ari walked up next to Scott. They looked at each other, smiling, walking away. (Slow motion)

Beacon Hills Animal Clinic - Backroom

Deaton and Scott were talking.

"But what about Ms. Blake?" Deaton asked.

"I don't know," Scott told him. "When we went back inside the distillery, her body was gone."

Deaton looked at him in confusion.

Night - Preserve

Jennifer crawled weakly toward the Nemeton. "Oh, please. Please. You saved me once before." She tried to put a hand on the rings of the stump. A clawed hand gripped her wrist to stop her. The figure kicked her in the stomach, making her roll over onto her back. Jennifer looked up. "Of course it's you." Peter was the one standing over her. "Everyone else suffers, but somehow, you come out on top. And now that Scott's an Alpha, now that Arielle and Adriana are half-breeds, you'll be able to steal it from them. You'll be an Alpha again."

Peter looked at her incredulously in anger. "Again? Again?" He raised his arm over his head, a claw on each finger. Jennifer gasped. Peter slashed into her throat, killing her. "I... am... the Alpha." He looked into the sky, screaming. "I've always been the Alpha!"
