chapter 4 - Relics
Outfits in the external link
From 6.03 "Sundowning", in the day room, Scott, Stacie, Ari, Tara, Lydia, Adriana and Malia were talking to Elias.
Natalie: (voice over) "Previously on Worlds Colliding (Teen Wolf)"
Ari looked at Elias. "We're looking for somebody named Stiles. You went by that name in the army, right?"
From 6.03 "Sundowning", in the loft, Natalie, Liam, Angel and Chayton were fighting with the Ghost Rider.
Natalie: (voice over from 6.03 Sundowning) "He's called a Ghost Rider."
From 6.03 "Sundowning", in the library, Natalie looked at Gwen. "They take people, and erase your memories. You're next."
From 6.03 "Sundowning", in the nursing home, Adriana grabbed the nurse by the head, slamming his head on the counter, letting him fall unconscious.
Macey: (voice over from 6.03 Sundowning) "Adriana..."
From 6.03 "Sundowning", in the day room, Adriana's eyes started to glow completely purple without her trying to make them glow.
Chris: (voice over from 6.03 Sundowning) "You're worried that she could lose control."
Adriana couldn't control it when her claws grew on their own accord.
Chris: (voice over from 6.03 Sundowning) "That she could accidentally slip back into old ways."
Adriana was trying to calm down, looking completely shaken by this part of her that came to the surface whenever she was angry or annoyed.
Macey: (voice over from 6.03 Sundowning) "She's fighting hard, with everything she's got."
From 6.03 "Sundowning", in the kitchen of Ari, Adriana and Macey's house, Macey and Chris were talking.
Chris sighed. "There's only so much you can do with fighting a force inside of you. But she can be helped, if she allows someone to."
"She thinks this is what she deserves," Macey told him. "So she won't let anyone help her, because she wants to suffer."
From 6.03 "Sundowning", in the loft, Angel, in Valkyrie form, stayed as still as possible for a moment. The Ghost Rider stood in front of Angel, staring at her in what seemed to be fear or curiosity once he saw that she was a Valkyrie.
"It's scared of you," Natalie told her.
Angel let out her loudest screech roar, making the entire loft shake around them, causing Natalie, Liam, Mason, Cory, Hayden, Chayton and Gwen intense pain, even causing the Ghost Rider pain, throwing it against the wall at the far side of the loft, making it fall. The Ghost Rider slowly stood, disappearing in a swirl of leaves, leaving the others completely shocked.
Angel: (voice over from 6.03 Sundowning) "I'm scared of me."
From 6.03 "Sundowning", in the morgue, Macey and Chris were investigating Mazzara's body.
Macey: (voice over from 6.03 Sundowning) "Someone is biting open heads."
From 6.03 "Sundowning", in the physics room, Douglas killed the janitor for his pineal gland.
Chris: (voice over from 6.03 Sundowning) "The real question is..."
From 6.03 "Sundowning", in the morgue, Chris looked up at Macey. "Why?"

Day One
Night - Woods
Chris seemed to be hunting something with his large automatic. He heard twigs breaking nearby, turning to aim his gun at whoever it was, only to see Macey walking closer. "You might want to think twice before you sneak up on a man holding a loaded M-24."
"I wasn't sneaking up on you," Macey told him. "I was catching up with you."
"I know," Chris told her. "I heard you a mile back."
Macey was catching her breath. "I found a low branch with my face. How do you even see anything out here?"
"Practice," Chris answered. "What are you doing, Macey?"
"I thought maybe you could use some backup," Macey told him. "I'm sick of seeing people that I care about wheeled into the emergency room where I have to operate on them. All of you are out here, risking your lives, and it's about time that I do something, too. Not for me. For Ari and Adriana. They have a lot going on, and Ari and Adriana won't let me be there for them in person, so why shouldn't I help out with what Ari and Adri do every day? So... Which way?" Chris looked around, not sure about letting her help because of how dangerous it could be. Macey gave him a knowing, amused look. "You can leave me out here alone with a stun gun and a box of band-aids, or we can just keep going. It's up to you."
Macey held up her stun gun, making electricity crackle along it.
Chris gave her an amused look, giving in. "In my experience, when tracking homicidal supernaturals, it's best to be quiet. Stay close to me. Okay?"
Macey nodded in agreement. "Okay." They walked through the woods, coming along a sound that they couldn't determine. Macey whispered to Chris. "What is it?" They walked closer to find a couple of bicyclers with their heads caved in. Macey knelt down to a body that seemed to be moving to try and help with medical expertise, but couldn't do anything to help as he was already dying in front of them. Macey checked his pulse, looking up at Chris, sighing, shaking her head. Chris knelt next to Macey. "He's dead." They saw blood dripping down on the body in front of him. "Oh, no." Chris took Macey's hand to turn her flashlight up toward the tree above them, showing a girl's body in the tree. They both stood. "It's okay. You're gonna be okay."
The girl coughed up blood, falling to the ground. Macey knelt next to her to check her pulse, looking up at Chris, shaking her head.
"How long could she survive like that?" Chris asked.
"One, maybe two minutes," Macey answered.
Chris looked around the forest with his gun ready. "It's still here."
Macey stood, seeing that Chris found something with his gunsight. "It's a Werewolf?"
"Werecoyote," Chris answered.
"Malia?" Macey asked.
Chris nodded. "And she's coming right at us."
They saw Malia running closer.
"You're not gonna shoot her, are you?" Macey asked.
"No, I'm going to wing her," Chris answered, shooting at Malia, making her fall.
Chris and Macey walked toward Malia to check on her.
Malia was shifted, with her eyes glowing and her canines out, growling angrily at Macey and Chris.

Day Two
Morning - The Loft - Living Room
Scott, Tara, Ari, Adriana, Natalie, Liam, Angel and Chayton were talking in the loft, looking at the black mark on the ceiling.
"That's how he got it?" Scott asked. "What is it?"
"It's a point of impact from a lightning strike," Chayton answered. "Usually, you'd find charred spots like that on the ground after a violent thunderstorm."
"That's how the Ghost Rider got in," Adriana told them. "He rode the lightning."
"If they can use lightning to get past the Mountain Ash..." Liam trailed off.
"No place is safe," Natalie finished.
"What about the others?" Angel asked. "I stopped the Ghost Rider before, but what happens if more show up to take the kids from the party?"
"We'll find a way to protect them," Ari answered. "All of them."
Adriana nodded in agreement.
Tara got a text, looking at her phone in confusion.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Morgue
Tara walked into the morgue of the hospital to see that Chris and Macey were waking up an unconscious Malia by Macey trying to pull the bullet out of Malia's leg. "What the hell? The morgue? She's not dead yet."
"Tara, your cousin's a Werecoyote," Macey told her. "It's private down here, and this is going to hurt. Tara, come here. Keep her still." Malia growled in pain and thrashed about. Tara walked closer to help Chris hold Malia still. "Try not to roar."
Malia grabbed Chris' arm tightly with her claws, making him groan in pain.
"You got anything for the pain?" Chris asked.
"No, I can take it," Malia told them.
"It's for me," Chris told them.
Tara looked at Malia. "What were you doing in the woods?"
"Running, Tara," Malia answered.
"At 2:00 AM?" Macey asked.
"Coyotes are nocturnal," Malia told them. "I heard screams. Like someone being murdered type screams."
"Did you see anything?" Chris asked. "Catch a scent?"
Malia shook her head. "Just blood." She gave Chris a sarcastic, bitter look. "And that's all I remember, until someone shot me."
"You were about to tear us apart," Macey told her.
"It's not her fault," Tara told them. "When a coyote smells a fresh kill, its senses are overcome. The blood drives it crazy."
Macey continued to dig into Malia's wound for the bullet with a pair of surgical tweezers, making her groan in pain. "Sorry. It's pretty deep. I'm trying not to damage... Tara--"
Tara walked closer to reach into Malia's wound herself, making her groan in pain, pulling out the bullet faster and easier than with the tweezers. She tossed the bullet to Chris. "Here's your bullet back."

Beacon Hills High School - Hallway
Gwen was at her school locker, putting her things in the locker. She was tripping out a little bit, looking around, overwhelmed with the truth that she now knew. She closed her locker, revealing Hayden behind it. Hayden smiled.
(Song:) Be Someone - Fialta
Gwen gave Hayden a look. "You don't have to follow me around everywhere."
"I'm just trying to keep you safe," Hayden told her.
They walked down the hallway.
"What, you're gonna sit through all my classes?" Gwen asked. "What about after school? What about all night?"
They stopped outside a door.
"Wherever you go, I'll be there," Hayden told her. They looked at the girls' bathroom door next to them. Hayden looked at Gwen awkwardly. "I'll just stay here."
Gwen nodded sarcastically, walking into the bathroom.
Hayden closed her eyes, shaking her head.

Library
Natalie, Ari, Adriana and Stacie were talking at a table in the school library. Ari was on her laptop.
Stacie read from Ari's laptop. "'The K-index quantifies disturbance in the horizontal component of earth's magnetic field.'"
"Ari, what's a 'K-index'?" Natalie asked.
"It's a scale that meteorologists use to measure thunderstorm activity, Natalie," Ari answered. "So, a K-index value less than 20 means no activity, and above 35 is severe."
"Ari, how bad's 'severe'?" Adriana asked.
"Adriana, your average storm has about 1,000 lighting strikes," Ari explained. "In the past three months, the average storm in Beacon Hills had 5,000."
"Ari, what's it reading now?" Natalie asked.
"Natalie, 14," Ari answered. "We're clear."
"Okay, so if a spike in the K-index means more lightning, then we can tell if they're coming," Stacie told them.
"Right, Stacie," Adriana agreed.
"This is good, Adriana," Natalie told he.
Adriana smiled. "Right, Natalie."
(Song Ends)
They heard the monitor beeping, looking at the K-index as it rose from 14 to 25, realizing that they were going to come frequently and soon.
Stacie was worried. "Actually, Natalie, this is really bad."

The Loft - Living Room
Scott, Stacie, Ari, Tara, Lydia, Adriana and Malia were talking in the living room of the loft.
Lydia was holding the library card that Natalie, Liam, Mason, Cory, Angel and Chayton had found that belonged to Jake Sullivan. "It's a relic."
"What's a relic?" Malia asked.
"An object with a fixed association to the past," Lydia answered. "Jake's ID was left behind after he was taken. And Gwen found her sister's bracelet on her bedroom floor."
"How can someone be erased, and still leave something behind?" Scott asked.
"A conservation of mass," Lydia answered. "The total mass of any isolated system remains constant."
"So, even the Ghost Riders have a weakness," Tara told them. "A relic would be proof that Stiles existed."
Scott took the library card from Lydia. "And maybe we can bring him back."
Natalie, Liam, Chayton and Angel walked in, bickering.
"We need to hide them," Chayton told them.
"We need to fight them," Liam told them.
"We need to hide them," Chayton told them.
"Who's 'them'?" Malia asked.
"The Ghost Riders," Liam answered.
"The kids at the party," Angel answered.
Tara nodded sarcastically. "Got it."
"We could get a lightning rod," Angel told them. "Attract the Ghost Riders and catch them off guard."
"But since everyone from the party is in danger, all we need to do is find a safe place to hide them until the storm passes," Chayton told them.
"The Ghost Riders ride the lightning," Liam told them. "Nowhere is safe."
"It is, if we're underground," Angel told them. "The Earth can ground the lightning's electrical charge. Everyone would be safe."
"Okay, here's what we're gonna do," Scott told them. "We take everyone into the Argent bunker. It's underground. It's lined with Mountain Ash."
"We stopped the Ghost Riders last night," Natalie told them. "We can do it again."
"Natalie, you mean that Angel stopped them," Tara told her. "And Angel stopped only one."
"What if there are more wherever they appear tonight?" Malia asked. "What if Angel can't stop them all?"
"Okay, how do we get everyone inside the bunker?" Adriana asked.
They all exchanged a look, knowing that they had to go to the school and convince everyone who was at the party to go to the bunker.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Beacon Hills High School - Outside
Angel, Chayton, Liam and Natalie were showing a picture of the Ghost Riders to Nathan and a few other lacrosse players that had been at the party.
"Is this a joke, Angel?" Nathan asked.
"No," Angel answered. "And you got to take this seriously."
Liam nodded in agreement. "Once we're all in the bunker, we'll be fine."
"I'm not gonna miss the first game of the year so that you can make captain, Dunbar," Nathan told him.
"There are supernatural forces of nature coming to erase your soul," Chayton told him.
"It was a man in a hat with a gun, Chayton," Nathan told him, turning to leave.
"And he's coming back to shoot you in the head," Natalie told him.
Nathan stopped, now looking more convinced. "What, Natalie?"
¤•¤°¤•¤
Sheriff's Station - Office
Stacie went to talk to Noah at the station, showing him the ID card.
"You want me to help you search the house?" Noah asked.
"People are leaving things behind," Stacie told him. "So if Stiles left anything..."
"Why would it be there?" Noah asked.
"You can't just erase people," Stacie told him. "They leave things behind. I know that you don't believe me, but I need to prove this myself."
Noah sighed. "I couldn't sleep last night. So, um, I got up, figured I'd do some paperwork. The files were in the back of my car. So, I--I go outside, and some junk fell out of the truck, and I--I stubbed my toe on an old baseball bat. Without thinking, I yelled a name."
Stacie knew what name that Noah had yelled, knowing that some part of him did believe her, relieved. "Stiles."
¤•¤°¤•¤
Tunnels
Scott, Ari, Tara, Natalie, Liam, Angel, Chayton, Hayden, Cory and Mason were leading the students from the party to the bunker through the tunnels.
"Why are we underground?" a girl asked.
"This is the way to the bunker," Tara answered.
"You guys have a bunker?" Nathan asked. "Who are you people?"
"We're the people who know things about the things that most people don't know about," Liam answered.
"What?" Nathan asked.
"Just keep moving," Ari told them.
The others led everyone to the bunker down the tunnel.
Natalie stopped Hayden when she realized that Gwen was gone. "Hayden, where's Gwen?"
Hayden and Natalie walked toward the ladder to the tunnels to look up. They exchanged a look, leaving the tunnels to go to the school and get Gwen here.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Argent Bunker
The others had brought the students to the bunker.
Nathan picked up a taser.
Chris walked closer. "I wouldn't touch that."
Nathan shot the taser, jumping in surprise. "What's all this for?"
Chris walked closer to take the taser away from him, putting it down. "Your protection."
Scott closed the door.
"Hey, we're missing three plus Gwen," Chayton told them.
Angel looked from the list to the people in the room to see who was missing. "They're all lacrosse players."
"They were at the party, so they know what's coming," Cory told them.
"People see what they want to see," Chris told them.
Ari showed them that the K-index on her phone was getting higher to a number of 31. "Guys, we're running out of time."
"Scott, we have to get them," Tara told him.
"I'll go," Scott told them. "The rest of you stay."
"It took all of us to fight off one Ghost Rider," Angel told him. "Who knows how many are gonna be there tonight? We're going with you."
"You're marked, Angel," Chayton told her.
"So are you, Chayton," Angel replied.
"So am I," Mason told them.
"And Natalie and me," Liam told them.
"Yeah, me, too, but at least I can see them coming," Cory told them.
Tara sighed. "All right, but if you see them coming, run."
Scott looked at her. "Tara, stay here with them. Argent needs the backup to protect these guys. Call Malia and Adriana for help. They're both restless and they need something to do, something to help with."
Tara nodded in agreement.
"Good," Ari told her. "Tara, you've read everything there is to know on the Ghost Riders, and you knew about them before any of us. Tara, you're the only one of us who's figured anything out. Have you come across anything that could stop them, Tara?"
"Not yet," Tara answered. "But I can try, Ari."
"Yeah, do that, Tara," Angel told her.
"Go," Tara told them.
Angel, Chayton, Ari, Liam, Scott, Cory and Mason nodded in agreement, running out of the bunker to go to the game to protect the others that weren't here. Tara watched them go worriedly.

Stilinski House - Living Room
Stacie was looking through the living room of her home, seeing pictures of Stacie, Noah and Claudia above the fireplace.
Claudia walked closer. "Stacie, is there anything I can do to help?"
"No," Stacie answered. "But thank you, Mom."
"Well, good luck," Claudia told her. "I'll leave you to it."
Stacie watched her go, still thinking about what Elias had said about Noah's "dead wife and loser son".
¤•¤°¤•¤
Hallway
Stacie walked into the hallway, walking toward her room. She stopped by the unbroken wall again, knowing that something should have been there, but she didn't know what. She reached out to touch the wall, starting to peel back the wallpaper.
Claudia was suddenly next to Stacie, gripping her wrist tightly to make her stop. "What are you doing?"
Stacie looked at Claudia nervously. "You're hurting me." She pulled her arm away from her. Claudia smoothed the wallpaper back up. "I'm sorry. I don't know why I did that."
"It's time to let this go, Stacie," Claudia told her. "Let it go."
Stacie was uncomfortable and confused and upset as to why she didn't want to know if she had a son or not. "Listen, I have a lacrosse game tonight. I have to go. Uh, don't bother coming. It might end up getting dangerously deadly again."
Stacie walked away quickly without looking back.
¤•¤°¤•¤
Beacon Hills High School - Hallway
Angel was walking down the hallway quickly to catch up with the lacrosse team, stopping when she saw a teenager at the end of the hallway, looking at him in confusion, looking around to see if anyone else saw him, but seeing that no one else did, she walked toward the boy.
"You didn't see it, did you?" the boy asked.
"See what?" Angel asked.
"It's right in front of your face," the boy told her.
Angel stepped closer. The boy opened his mouth to release the screech and the roar in two separate sounds, just like Angel's visions before. Angel was rattled and disoriented from the sound, but she could stand it without covering her ears again.
Chayton ran up behind Angel. "Angel, the players are trying to go on the field. Angel, if we can't stop them..." Angel jumped slightly, turning to look at Chayton. Chayton saw the look on her face. "Another vision, Angel?"
Angel nodded. "Yes, Chayton, another vision. I don't get it, Chayton. It's just random people saying random things but making the same noises. What the hell are these visions, Chayton?"
Chayton looked worried and concerned as to how confused and shaken up Angel seemed to be by all of this.

Tunnels
Tara was in the tunnels, waiting for Adriana and Malia.
Chris was standing in the door to the bunker to watch the others and help Tara keep an eye out for the Ghost Riders.
Adriana and Malia walked toward them.
"Thanks for coming," Tara told them.
"Tara, you need our help?" Adriana asked.
"I need a babysitter," Tara answered. "Malia, come with me."
Malia and Tara walked into the bunker. Tara exchanged a knowing look with Chris as she did.
Adriana was about to follow when she noticed Chris's expression, stopping, sighing. "Let me guess. Tara, Mom or Ari have been gossiping to you about me."
"What makes you say that?" Chris asked.
"Your worried expression and scent, and the fact that you and Tara just exchanged a knowing look about me, which leads me to believe that you and Tara set me up for another intervention," Adriana answered. "So, who was it, huh? Who talked to you, other than Tara, I mean? Mom or Ari?" Chris sighed. Adriana nodded knowingly. "All right, Mom did. Of course she did."
"Your mother's just worried about you, Adriana," Chris told her.
"She asked you to talk to me?" Adriana asked.
"No," Chris answered. "This is coming from me. We can help you, Adriana."
"I don't need help," Adriana told him, starting to walk toward the bunker.
Chris put out his gun to stop her, correcting her. "You don't want to be helped, Adriana. There's a difference." Adriana stopped, sighing. "You think that going through what you're going through is what you deserve."
"Isn't it?" Adriana asked. "Why do you care so much?"
"Because I care about your mother, Adriana," Chris answered. "And I care about you and Ari. The two of you were Allison's friends. You were more like sisters. And I believe that she would want me to help you in any way that I can, considering the fact that she's one of the major reasons why you got free from the Alpha Pack."
Adriana looked down sadly. "Yeah."
"I think that whatever happened to you, it wasn't because of you," Chris told her. "There were a thousand extenuating circumstances. The Dread Doctors, the Alphas, brainwashing you, manipulating you. And this dark force inside you that makes it hard for you to control yourself. Experiencing what happened three months ago with the Doctors, the bond with Ari breaking, Theo... it made everything that much worse." Adriana gazed off, looking down, resisting the urge to trace her tattoo, tapping her fingers against the tattoo instead. "I come from a family of hunters. It's our job to deal with situations that an ordinary person--"
Adriana looked up, trying to use sarcasm and humor to get out of the conversation as usual. "Job stress?"
Chris gave her a look. "You know the bloodlust you feel? The anger, the darkness? Oh, I've seen that look before. When I was your age, I saw someone lose control and slaughter an innocent. And I did nothing."
"I'm not that Werewolf," Adriana told him.
"No, it wasn't a Werewolf," Chris told her. "It was a hunter. And she made excuses. Made a very convincing case that lethal force was necessary. But it wasn't. And if I had done something that night, then maybe my sister wouldn't be the monster that she is today."
Adriana sighed. "Kate."
Chris nodded. "I know that the darkness inside of you is pushing you to act out on your darkest impulses and thoughts. You are good, Adriana, and you have been good for a long time. You stay that way by getting involved. By helping people, and letting them help you. Help us, and let us help you. Please, Adriana."
Adriana looked impressed and touched that he was wanting to help her for Allison, for Ari and for Macey, nodding.

Argent Bunker
Chris and Adriana walked into the bunker to join the others, seeing that Nathan was messing with a sonic emitter.
Malia took the emitter away from him.
Nathan looked from Malia to Adriana. "What are you doing here?"
"I asked them to come," Tara answered.
"And I asked you not to touch anything else," Chris told him, annoyed.
Nathan looked at Tara, nodding to Adriana and Malia, skeptic. "You know them, Tara?"
"Yes, I do know them," Tara answered. "Malia's my cousin. Adriana's my friend. And you need to shut up before Adriana decides she wants to shut you up."
Adriana smirked, as if thinking you know me so well.
"Look, how much longer do we have to be down here?" Nathan asked.
"As long as it takes," Chris answered, cocking his gun.
"Okay, I'll stay," Adriana told him. "You've shot enough people for one day."
Chris gave Adriana a look. Tara and Malia chuckled lightly.

Beacon Hills High School - Hallway
Lydia and Stacie were walking through the school hallway when Stacie was on the way to the girls' locker room to get dressed for the game.
"Stacie, you were tearing your wallpaper off the wall?" Lydia asked.
Stacie hesitated. "No. Maybe. Yes. How did you find this out?"
"Your mom called Natalie, Ari and me, asking about you, Stacie," Lydia answered. "She's worried about your mental health. After what happened with being the anchor, losing Allison, the Nogitsunes, targeted by professional assassins and Kate and Mexico, what happened with Donovan and Theo and everything else."
"I'm not losing my mind," Stacie told her. "I was just trying to find something Stiles left behind. A relic."
"Did you?" Lydia asked.
"No," Stacie answered. "My mom told me to let it go."
"Probably because you were tearing the wallpaper," Lydia told her. Stacie sighed worriedly. "Stacie, do you know what a confirmation bias is? It's the tendency to interpret information in a way that confirms an existing preconception."
"You're using more than three syllables per word again," Stacie told her. "I might be smart, Lydia, but I'm not a genius. Not everyone can be geniuses like Ari and you."
"It's a biased perspective," Lydia told her. "Stacie, you're looking for proof to support what you already believe is true. Because you want it to be true."
Stacie stopped walking, hurt but knowing this was true. "Stiles is real. I know it."
Lydia sighed worriedly. "Stacie, there might be a possibility that he's not."
"You're starting to sound like Tara, Adriana and Malia," Stacie told her. "And I can't talk about this right now. I have a game to play."
Lydia knew that Stacie was more upset, but not directly at her, sighing in regret. "Stacie..."
Stacie walked away.

Girls' Locker Room
Hayden and Natalie found Gwen in the girls' locker room at the school to find that she was getting ready for the lacrosse game, because she was on the team for the game that night.
"I'm not waiting in a bunker to get taken," Gwen told them.
Hayden sighed. "You have no idea what you're up against. Last night, it took all of us to stop one of them. If you go out there, they'll take you, too."
"They'll find me wherever I am," Gwen told them. "Just like Phoebe."
"I'm sorry we couldn't protect her," Natalie told her. "But we can protect you."
"Don't worry, Natalie," Gwen told her. "When it happens, you won't remember me."
"It doesn't have to happen," Natalie told her. Gwen didn't answer, turning to leave. Natalie looked at her in realization. "You want them to take you."
Gwen looked at them, walking out of the locker room.
Hayden and Natalie exchanged a look, running after her.

Hallway
Natalie and Hayden ran into Scott, Stacie, Ari, Liam, Angel, Chayton, Mason and Cory out in the hallway before they could find Gwen.
"What's the plan?" Liam asked.
"Convince Okafur, Steinbach, and Wallace that playing tonight is a bad idea," Scott answered.
Coach walked toward them. "You're late, all of you. Why aren't you people dressed? Get your asses moving. Everyone on the field! Hustle, hustle, hustle!"
Coach and the team ran out to the field.
"We'll never get them back into the bunker now," Angel told them.
Ari turned to Scott, Stacie and Liam. "Get dressed."
Stacie knew what she meant, nodding. "Because there's only one way to keep them safe."
Chayton nodded in agreement. "Play the game."

Night - Lacrosse Field
(Song:) Rebels - Wiwek feat. Audio Bullys
The players were out on the field in uniform.
Scott, Stacie, Ari, Liam, Cory, Mason, Angel, Chayton, Natalie and Hayden were standing at the side of the field before the game started by the bleachers.
"Stacie, you take Gwen," Scott told her. "Liam, you take Wallace. I'll take Steinbach." He looked at Ari. "You're on Okafur, Ari."
Stacie nodded in agreement. "Just to let you know, guns and crossbows are in my lacrosse bag."
"Good, Stacie, because we might need them," Liam told her. "Though not sure what they can do to those things."
"What if I see Ghost Riders?" Cory asked.
"Yell," Liam answered.
"Then get ready to fight," Ari told him.
The whistle blew.
The game started.
Natalie looked at Angel and Chayton. "Angel, Chayton, keep an eye on the Ghost Riders. If there's more than one, then we'll all have to be ready."
Angel and Chayton nodded in agreement. "Got it, Natalie."
Liam was keeping a close eye on Wallace.
Wallace pushed Liam down. "Find your own space."
The other team scored.
Gwen rammed into Stacie, making them both fall. "You wanna back off, Stacie?"
The other team scored again.
Okafur and Steinbach took Scott and Ari down.
"Come on, Ari," Okafur told her.
"There's no ghosts out here, McCall," Steinbach told him.
The other team scored again.
Coach was angry, looking at Scott, Stacie, Ari and Liam. "What are you doing out there? I'm gonna kill the four of you."
Mason, Cory, Hayden, Natalie, Angel and Chayton were sitting in the front row of the bleachers, in front of Sydney and Lori.
"Do these guys ever practice?" Lori asked.
"Not enough," Sydney answered. Angel sighed, rolling her eyes, trying to figure out how to stop the Ghost Riders while watching the game. Sydney mistook Angel's anxiety for the game, patting Angel on the shoulder. "It's just the first quarter."
"They could still win," Lori told them.
Chayton nodded awkwardly, giving a little chuckle.
Mason and Cory exchanged an awkward look.
Hayden and Natalie sighed worriedly, leaning forward to watch the game.

Argent Bunker
Tara, Adriana, Malia and Chris were still watching the others in the bunker.
"How do you know that they can't get in and shoot all of us?" the girl from before asked, starting to freak out. "I'll never graduate. I'll never do anything. This is it!"
Adriana looked at Tara. "Tara, can you give me a stun gun?"
"Can you think of a better, less-seizure inducing way, Adriana?" Tara replied.
Adriana sighed, rolling her eyes. "Fine, Tara."
"Good Adriana," Tara told her.
"Don't any of you get it?" the girl asked. "We are never leaving this place."
Tara walked toward her. "Jayden. It's okay. Before they get in here, they got to go through us."
"What if that's not enough?" Jayden asked.
"No one is getting through that door," Malia told them.
Jayden started to calm down, nodding, sitting down.
Adriana turned to look around, noticing someone gone, turning to face Tara, Malia and Chris. "Nathan's missing."

Beacon Hills High School - Lacrosse Field
The game continued. Three players from the opposing teams jumped at each other like the painting of the Valkyrie, the Hellhound and the Beast.
Angel saw this, realizing what could help them, realizing that her uncle could help stop the Ghost Riders. "Yes. Yes." The other team scored again. "Yes." Angel stood. "Yes."
Mason, Cory and Hayden gave Angel a look. "Angel, wrong team."
"Sorry," Angel told them. "I just realized something."
Mason, Cory, Hayden, Natalie and Chayton looked at Angel in confusion. "What is it, Angel?"

Beacon Hills High School - Lacrosse Field
(Song:) Pressure - Cyanotic
Some of the players were beginning to fight each other, including Liam and a player from the opposing team.
"Yes, Dunbar!" Coach told him. "That's the kind of passion I want to see. Unleash hell!"
Liam walked toward Scott, Stacie and Ari. "What's gotten into everyone?"
"What if it's the Wild Hunt?" Ari asked. "What if it's affecting everyone?"
Mason, Cory, Hayden, Natalie, Angel and Chayton were talking in the stands.
"It took a screech roar to fight off one Ghost Rider," Angel told them. "If there's gonna be more tonight, then we need a lot more backup."
"Like who?" Hayden asked.
Chayton looked at Angel in realization. "Like your uncle."
"Yeah," Angel answered. "I need to call Uncle Jordan and have him meet us here right now."
"Angel, what about Gwen?" Natalie asked. "What about the other players, Chayton? We have to keep them safe."
"Parrish and Angel could keep everyone safe, Natalie," Chayton told her.
(Song Ends)
They looked toward the field as a storm appeared overhead and it started to pour.
"They're here," Mason told them.
"Liam!" Stacie called. "Scott! Ari! Natalie!"
The teams took off their helmets.
"Natalie, I see them!" Liam told her.
Cory, Hayden and Natalie stood, running onto the field to join the others.
Mason stayed on the bleachers worriedly.
Angel and Chayton stood, exchanging a look.
"Chayton, let's go," Angel told him.
Angel and Chayton ran toward the school.

Tunnels
Chris stayed with the students in the bunker to keep an eye on him. Tara, Adriana and Malia were running through the tunnels to look for Nathan.
"Tara, Adriana, what happens if he gets out?" Malia asked.
"He'll break the seal," Tara answered. They stopped for a moment to catch Nathan's scent. "This way."
Tara led Adriana and Malia down the tunnel at a run so they could try and find Nathan.

Beacon Hills High School - Lacrosse Field
Scott, Stacie, Ari, Liam, Natalie, Cory and Hayden all stood together around the marked players in the pouring rain.
The referee blew his whistle to call off the game.
"Oh, come on, ref!" Coach told him. "This is barely a thunderstorm."
"Okay, we've got all three, right?" Scott asked.
"Scott, there were four," Ari told him.
Scott, Stacie and Ari all grabbed Cory's arms so that they could see what was happening, their vision tinted in green.
A Ghost Rider had one of the students, dragging him across the ground by horse through the storm, making him disappear in a cloud of green smoke.

Inside - Hallway
Jordan walked in, in his uniform.
Angel and Chayton ran up to him.
"Hey, JP," Angel told him.
"Chayton, why did you call me?" Jordan asked.
"The Ghost Riders are afraid of Angel," Chayton told him.
"What?" Jordan asked. "How do you know?"
"I'm the reason he left Gwen," Angel answered. "It took all of us to stop one Ghost Rider, and yeah, I got him to run, but I can't take them all on myself."
"Angel means to say that she needs your help to stop them," Chayton told him. "We need you." Jordan reached for his gun. "The other you."
Jordan knew they were talking about the Hellhound, sighing.

Tunnels
Adriana, Tara and Malia were still looking.
Tara looked at Malia. "You were good back there with helping me calm down Jayden."
"Thanks, Tara," Malia told her.
"I still want to kill Nathan," Adriana told them.
"At this point, so do I, Adriana," Malia told her. "Which way?"
Adriana caught Nathan's scent. "This way."
They ran down the tunnel to find him.

Beacon Hills High School - Lacrosse Field
Scott, Stacie, Ari, Natalie, Liam, Cory and Hayden were surrounding the marked players on the field in the pouring rain, while Ghost Riders came to surround them.
Some of the people in the bleachers were starting to see the Ghost Riders. The ones who did started to run.
"Oh, my God, they're real," Wallace told them.
"We gotta get out of here," Steinbach told them.
"Stay together," Scott told them. "We'll protect you."
"How?" Gwen asked.
Stacie already had her bag with them, drawing two guns and the crossbow, tossing one to Cory so that he could have some kind of defense, since the only ability she knew he had was turning invisible. They both started to fire at the Ghost Riders. While it did give the Ghost Riders pause, it didn't make them stop.
"Run!" Ari told them.
They all turned to run, but them were all quickly surrounded by Ghost Riders on all sides.
"Stay close," Natalie told them.
The spectators that were running, they were caught by a Ghost Rider from behind the buses. He fired a single shot at each, making them disappear in a puff of green smoke.
One of the Ghost Riders shot Steinbach, making him disappear.
Scott, Stacie and Ari realized they could now see the Riders when they were not holding onto Cory, meaning they were now marked as well.
"I can still see them," Scott told them.
Ari shifted, letting her eyes glow red, roaring, running toward a Ghost Rider, tackling him off his horse, getting in a few punches.
"Ari!" Stacie told her worriedly.
The Ghost Rider threw Ari off of him, standing.
Stacie continued to fire at the Ghost Riders with her own guns while Cory fired at them with the crossbow.
A Ghost Rider tried to shoot Stacie. Scott ran closer to pull Stacie out of the way, shifting with eyes glowing red.
A Ghost Rider shot Wallace, making him disappear in a puff of green smoke.
"Natalie, we can't stop them," Liam told her.
"Protect Gwen," Natalie told them, letting her eyes glow gold, roaring at the Ghost Riders.
Stacie continued to fire.

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Waiting Room
Lydia had come to talk to Melissa and Macey about everything.
"You want what?" Melissa asked in surprise, noticing that she had spoken too loudly. Lydia and Macey gave her a look. Melissa lowered her voice. "You want what?"
"Claudia's medical records," Lydia answered. "Just for a minute. I know it's a lot to ask."
"It's up there," Melissa told her. "It's way up there."
"Just trust me," Lydia told them. "There are lives at stake. Aunt Macey, please. This is for Ari and Adriana, and Stacie, and everyone else."
"Letting you look at private medical records is completely and utterly against hospital regulations," Macey told her. Lydia sighed, giving Macey a look, knowing that she wasn't finished. "But this is for Stacie, Ari and Adriana. And if it's for Stacie, Ari and Adri, we better make this fast."
Lydia smiled in relief.

Tunnels
Tara, Adriana and Malia stopped running because the trail was ending, or getting close.
"You lost it?" Malia asked.
"No," Adriana answered. "I don't know. Maybe. It's like he was right here."
"But no Nathan," Malia told them.
"He's still here," Tara told them. "I know it." She heard Nathan breathing heavily from the other side of the wall in a hidden room, pressing her ear against the wall to make sure it was him. "Nathan, I know you're there."
"How?" Nathan asked.
"Stay put," Malia told him. "We're coming to get you."
"No, you're not," Nathan told them.
Tara heard him start to run through the tunnels, looking at Adriana and Malia. "He's moving." Tara and Malia ran after him. "You need to stop running."
Adriana ran after them. "You're gonna lead them right to us! Nathan!"
Malia growled in frustration.

Beacon Hills High School - Hallway
One of the spectators from the game ran into the school hallway. The Ghost Rider shot her with his gun, making her disappear in a cloud of green smoke.
Angel, Chayton and Jordan walked around the corner.
Jordan looked at Angel and Chayton. "Stay back."
Jordan started to burn brightly, letting his eyes glow with fire as his Hellhound side emerged, burning away his uniform. He ran toward the Ghost Rider, roaring angrily. The Ghost Rider shot Jordan, making him glow green, and revert back to human, but didn't make him disappear or kill him.
Chayton let his wings, canines and talons grow, letting his eyes glow green, letting out a roaring screech, flying down the hallway toward the Ghost Rider to kick his gun out of his hands, slashing his talons into the Ghost Rider's chest, making him back away. The Ghost Rider pulled out his whip, trying to slash it into Chayton. Chayton flipped back, flying back through the air to make him miss, flying closer to flip the Ghost Rider to the ground.
Angel let her eyes glow dark, fiery gold, canines, talons and wings come out in full Valkyrie form, running down the hallway toward the Ghost Rider, flying up to the Ghost Rider straight on, using her screech roar to make the hallway shake and cause them all pain, the force to the screech roar able to push the Ghost Rider through the hallway to the floor.
The Ghost Rider disappeared in a bolt of lightning, leaving before they could fight anymore, leaving a trace of leaves all over the floor.
Angel landed on her feet, letting herself return to normal. Chayton stood, letting himself return to normal. They exchanged a look, turning to check on Jordan.

Scott, Stacie, Ari, Natalie, Liam, Cory and Hayden were standing around Gwen in the pouring rain, surrounded by Ghost Riders.
Stacie was running out of ammo, quickly reloading with either hand, flipping the magazines into the guns simultaneously, continuing to fire. (slow motion)
Scott, Ari, Natalie, Liam and Hayden were all shifted with glowing eyes (red for Scott and Ari, gold for Natalie, Liam and Hayden), keeping the Ghost Riders back.
Gwen stepped in front of them to stop the fight and save the others so she could be taken to her sister. "Come on!"
Ari ran closer. "No!"
A Ghost Rider shot Gwen. Ari caught her as she fell, before she disappeared into green smoke.
The Ghost Riders all disappeared. The rainstorm vanished as they did.
Scott, Stacie, Ari, Natalie, Liam, Hayden and Cory looked at each other in disbelief and defeat.

Tara, Adriana and Malia saw Nathan run toward the ladder at the end of the tunnel leading up to the street, running toward him.
"Nathan!" Malia told him. "Nathan, we can keep you safe!"
Nathan climbed up the ladder. "Bull. I'm out of here."
Nathan lifted the grate to reach the surface. A Ghost Rider was waiting outside the grate, grabbing Nathan, pulling him up with a whip. He disappeared in a cloud of green smoke. The Ghost Riders jumped down into the tunnel, a lot of them, drawing guns or whips.
"Tara..." Malia trailed off.
Malia, Tara and Adriana stopped running when they saw them. Malia and Tara let their eyes glow blue. Adriana let her eyes glow completely purple. They all roared in preparation for the fight.

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Records Room
Melissa and Macey were showing Lydia records of Claudia.
"Sorry, guys," Melissa told them. "According to her medical records, Claudia only had one child. Stacie."
Lydia pointed at Claudia's illness on the record. "Well, Stacie said that she had had a form of dementia that she beat. What kind was it?"
"Frontotemporal dementia," Macey answered. "There must be a mistake."
"How long ago?" Melissa asked. "She seems fine now."
"Ten years," Macey answered. "I'm surprised she's still alive, honestly. It's a miracle."

Beacon Hills High School - Hallway
Ari was on the phone in the hallway, standing with Scott, Stacie, Angel and Chayton. Liam, Natalie, Hayden, Mason and Cory walked down the hallway toward them. Ari hung up.
"Everyone from the bunker has been taken," Chayton told them.
"Everyone?" Mason asked. "How?"
"It doesn't matter how," Angel told them.
"Adriana, Malia and Tara are at the hospital," Ari told them. "Chris's been hurt. My mom's with them."
"Do you need to go?" Scott asked.
"Yeah," Ari answered.
"We'll go with you," Stacie told her.
Stacie, Ari and Scott turned to leave.
Natalie took a step closer. "Guys..." Stacie, Ari and Scott turned back. Natalie shook her head in despair, defeat. "Tonight..."
"Natalie, hey, it's not your fault," Scott told her. "It's mine. We should have done both. Defend the bunker and use the lightning rod. It would've given us a better chance."
Stacie, Ari and Scott walked out of the school to head to the hospital.
Angel and Chayton gave Natalie, Liam, Hayden, Mason and Cory a sympathetic look, walking out of the school.
Natalie turned to face Liam, Hayden, Mason and Cory, not the least beat reassured.
Liam walked toward Natalie in concern. "Natalie, you okay?"
Natalie shook her head. "No."
Liam walked into the boys' locker room to get changed back to his normal clothes, while Natalie, Mason, Cory and Hayden waited in the hallway.
Coach left the door open so they could see and hear what was going on, looking at Liam. "There he is. Look at that. The humility. The grace. Sure, that wasn't lacrosse we played out there tonight. That was la-crap!" He pointed at Liam. "But you... you stayed on the field while the rest of these losers ran inside."
"Coach, we lost," Liam told him. "We lost everything."
"Listen to the despair," Coach told them. "The rage simmering underneath it." He sighed. "See that, people? He thinks he can win. That's why next time, he will win. Because he will find a way. Now, show your new captain some love, you pukes." The team started to clap halfheartedly. "I said show him some love!"
The team applauded, chanting his name. "Liam, Liam, Liam!"
Natalie, Liam, Mason, Cory and Hayden were only a little uplifted to learn that Liam got lacrosse captain.

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Hallway
Chris was unconscious on a hospital bed. Macey and Melissa were wheeling him into a hospital room. Ari and Adriana were standing next to Macey, looking at Chris worriedly.
"Is he okay?" Ari asked.
"He has blunt force trauma to his temporal bone, three broken ribs, and multiple surface lacerations which seem to be from a whip," Macey told them. "Whip marks. What he needs is a lot of rest."
Macey took Chris into the hospital room.
Scott, Stacie, Tara, Lydia and Malia walked toward Ari and Adriana.
"What happened?" Lydia asked.
"The Ghost Riders took everyone," Tara answered. "We barely even slowed them down."
Scott looked between Lydia and Stacie. "Tell me you two found something. A relic, anything."
Stacie shook her head, looking down sadly.
"I found out that the only child Noah and Claudia Stilinski ever had is Stacie Stilinski," Lydia told them. She looked at Stacie. "So, Stiles can't be their son. And he can't be your brother, Stacie."
"There never was a Stiles, was there?" Malia asked.
"It doesn't even sound like a real name," Adriana told them.
"We have to keep looking," Stacie told them. "Check the school records again. Or call Scott's dad..."
"We're fighting the wrong battle," Tara told them.
"We're trying to bring Stiles back," Stacie told them.
"The Ghost Riders came back," Malia told her. "We still have no way of stopping them."
"And whatever they are, they're real," Adriana told her. "We can't keep chasing someone who isn't."
Scott looked hesitant, shaking his head in regret. "He didn't leave anything behind."
"Just us," Ari told them.
Stacie was upset that no one seemed to believe her, or those who did were conflicted on the thought, tears in her eyes that she found back. She knew that Stiles had to be out there somewhere, and she knew that he was her brother. She didn't have any memory of him, but it hurt like hell to feel so alone like this.

Natalie walked outside to head to her car, and Cory, Mason, Liam and Hayden still followed. When Natalie stopped walking to face them, they stopped walking. When Natalie continued walking, they continued following. Natalie stopped, giving them a look to again tell them go home.
"We're not going anywhere," Mason told her.
"We're not leaving you," Liam told her.
"We all knew that Liam was gonna get lacrosse captain, but we also already knew that you would be ours, Natalie," Cory told her.
Natalie managed a small smile, chuckling a little. "Yeah. Guess we did. Guess we all did."
"Then what do we do?" Hayden asked.
Natalie took a moment to think, nodding. "We catch a Ghost Rider."
Liam smiled proudly.
In slow motion, Cory, Mason, Natalie, Liam and Hayden walked across the parking lot together, past Stiles' blue Jeep.
Natalie seemed to recognize the Jeep, but she didn't know why.
