From 6.19 "Broken Glass", in the clinic, Lydia, Malia and Peter were talking.

"I saw everyone," Lydia told them. "All of you turned to stone."

From 6.18 "Genotype", in the morgue, Gerard had his back to the Anuk-ite. "You want your freedom. That means getting rid of people like Angel Fain, and Angel's parents, Amelia and Isaiah."

From 6.19 "Broken Glass", outside the Hale Vault, Kate had confronted Scott, Tara, Stacie and Derek.

"This poison is going in a couple bullets," Kate told them. "Bullets for Angel Fain and her family."

From 6.19 "Broken Glass", in the warehouse district, Adriana and Deucalion were teaching Ari, Isaac, Angel, Chayton and Theo.

"I'm pretty sure if I can get in touch with my alter ego, she can fight blind for me," Angel told them.

From 6.19 "Broken Glass", in the hospital room, Cory looked at Mason. "We're bait."

From 6.19 "Broken Glass", in the morgue, Natalie and Liam realized what was happening.

"We're trapped," Natalie told him.

From 6.19 "Broken Glass", in the warehouse district, Lydia, Malia and Peter joined the others.

"They're coming, Monroe and more," Peter told them. "And they have heavy firepower."

Angel looked around worriedly in realization, sensing what was coming before they did. "No."

The hunters from all around were firing toward the pack. Angel and Chayton stood together, holding hands, using their combined roars to make a shield of sound to make the bullets fly away from the pack. Deucalion, while he was standing in front of Angel and Chayton and not behind them like the others were, was shot down repeatedly, falling to the ground.

Angel: (voice over from 6.19 Broken Glass) "They're already here."

Adriana was horrified that her former Alpha could be dying in front of her. "Deuc! No!"

Adriana tried to run for Deucalion, but with the heavy firepower coming from the hunters, she would have been shot and killed with him. Theo pulled Adriana back into cover before they could be shot. Ari, Isaac, Angel, Chayton, Lydia Malia and Peter all ran away into cover.

Flashforward

Los Angeles, California

Day - House - Bedroom

At some unknown point in the future, Scott and Tara were awakened in bed by the nose of a knock on the door, looking at each other, smiling, kissing slowly, softly and passionately for a long moment, pulling away. Tara was seen to have an engagement ring on her hand that rested on Scott's chest.

Living Room

Dressed, Scott and Tara made their way downstairs toward where Ari and Isaac were waiting.

"Let's go," Isaac told them.

Ari smiled.

Scott: (voice over) "We're gonna tell you a story."

Outside

Scott and Tara got into Tara's Camaro. Ari and Isaac got onto Ari's bike, pulling on their helmets. They drove away together. The skyline of Los Angeles could be clearly seen in the background.

Scott: (voice over) "Maybe it will sound familiar."

Alley

A young teenager was running through back allies, away from two hunters that were chasing him with guns and crossbows, trying to duck the shots they fired at him.

Scott: (voice over) "There was this kid, 16, alone, and running for his life. He couldn't see them, but he could hear them getting closer. They had guns, crossbows. They were hunting him."

The hunters continued to chase the boy, firing at him with guns and crossbows, making an arrow hit his thigh.

Warehouse

A blood trail led into the abandoned warehouse. The boy was limping badly.

Scott: (voice over) "It started on the night of a full moon. Something bit him and it changed his life. It changed everything."

The boy heard a roar, the sounds of gunfire and fighting behind plastic sheeting hanging from the warehouse ceiling. He could go no further, sinking to the floor.

Scott and Ari made their way around the corner with Tara and Isaac following. Scott and Ari let their eyes glow red; Tara let her eyes glow a deep blue; and Isaac let his eyes glow gold to show the boy that they were like him. The boy let his eyes glow gold in return. The four walked closer to help. Tara knelt next to the boy, pulling the arrow out of his leg quickly as to not draw out the pain, although it was still painful enough to make the boy scream.

Outside

Scott, Tara, Ari, Isaac and the boy made their way outside.

"What's your name?" Tara asked.

"Alec," the boy answered.

"Sound familiar, Alec?" Tara asked.

"Is that what happened to you?" Alec asked.

"We've all got our own stories," Ari told him. "Isaac, Scott and I? We were bitten, like you. Pretty young, too. Tara here..." Scott and Tara looked at each other, smiling small smiles as Ari went on. "Tara was born a Werewolf. There are parts of our stories... that we didn't expect... people that we thought would be with us forever, are the ones that we've lost." Scott, Tara, Ari and Isaac looked at each other somberly for the mention of Boyd, Erica, Allison, even Brett and Lori. "Some people we thought we could never trust have ended up saving our lives, more than once."

Tara nodded in agreement, thinking about Chris, Theo, Peter, and even Derek, Tara, Natalie, Isaac, Erica and Boyd when they had been against them.

Isaac looked at Alec. "We've all got stories."

"Everyone in my story is dead," Alec told them sadly.

"Yeah, but you're not," Tara told him. "And now you're with us."

"So what happens next?" Alec asked. "Your stories, how do they end?"

Scott and Tara; and Ari and Isaac looked at each other, knowing that their stories weren't even finished yet.

Same Night - Same Scene

Night - Warehouse District

The scene picked back up from last chapter, where the hunters had shot Deucalion down, and were trying to shoot Ari, Isaac, Adriana, Theo, Angel, Chayton, Lydia, Malia and Peter, who were all in hiding and cover to avoid being shot.

Isaac looked around worriedly. "Ari!"

Ari was getting to Lydia to pull her into cover, as she was the only one without the accelerated healing ability. A hunter walked up behind Ari and Lydia to get a clear shot.

Stiles drove closer, using the Jeep to run down the hunter before he could shoot Ari and Lydia, looking at the others. "You didn't think you were doing this without me, did you?"

Derek walked up next to the Jeep. "Without us?"

Stacie, Scott and Tara ran up next to Stiles and Derek.

Everyone looked at them in relief.

Chayton took advantage of the distraction, growing his wings from his back smoothly to fly through the air toward a group of hunters, using his screech roar to deflect their bullets and tackle them all to the ground.

Derek and Scott shifted, roaring, Derek with blue eyes, Scott with red. Tara let her eyes glow a deep, intense blue, growling. Stacie raised her gun and crossbow, firing.

From 1.12 "Code Breaker", outside the Hale House, Peter in his Alpha form was burning alive, roaring up at the sky.

From 6.02 "Superposition", in the school hallway, a powerful breeze blew open the double doors, blowing a swirl of leaves inside.

From 5.10 "Status Asthmaticus", in the school library, Scott looked at the supermoon through the wall of windows. He gave in only enough to let himself transform, but not enough to let himself lose control, turning to face Ari. Tyler Posey.

From 2.09 "Party Guessed", outside Lydia's House, Matt stood in the middle of the street. The Kanima was standing next to him, wrapping his tail around his legs.

From 3.10 "The Overlooked", in the loft, surrounded by Mistletoe, the Darach screeched in pain, transforming back into Jennifer.

From 4.12 "Smoke and Mirrors", in Stacie's Bardo, Stacie was in a black dress on the Nemeton, lying down. She had vines, tethers, wrapping around her arms, trailing toward two doors on either side of the big room, and had one trailing from her head to a door behind her across the room. Zoey Deutch.

From 3.01 "Tattoos", in the locker room, Deucalion, Kali, Ennis, Ethan, Aiden and Adriana stood together, facing Braedan.

From 5.10 "Status Asthmaticus", in the school library, Ari let the irises of her eyes glow purple. The purple faded away into red.

From 3.12 "Lunar Eclipse", in the clinic, Adriana was giving power to Ethan and Aiden. The blue and the red glowing in her eyes swirled and changed, intertwining into one solid color that overruled. Her eyes were glowing completely purple.

From 5.13 "Codominance", in the desert, while fighting an Oni, Kira was engulfed in Kitsune aura, letting her eyes glow a deep gold, yelling in fury.

From 2.12 "Master Plan", in the warehouse, Jackson looked up, shifted into a Werewolf, letting his eyes glow blue, roaring.

From 3.22 "De-Void", in the loft, Sheriff was aiming his gun at Chris, who was aiming his gun at Void!Stiles. Linden Ashby.

On the back of Tara's hand, a triskele appeared. The spirals were black. The tip of one spiral was Beta blue. The tip of one spiral was Beta gold. The tip of one spiral was Alpha red. The intersection point was half-breed purple.

On Scott's arm, two bands appeared, the top band thicker than the other.

From 5.16 "Lie Ability", outside Eichen House, Macey looked from the taser in her hand to the pack in front of her. Denise Richards.

From 5.11 "The Last Chimera", in the warehouse, Scott let his claws grow, letting Tara circle his arm so that he could claw two bands into the wall, like his tattoo. Scott carved a triskele into the wall, intersecting with the two bands already there perfectly.

5.02 "Parasomnia", in the Preserve, Theo noticed that Adriana was tracing her tattoo for one of the infinity signs, finishing by tracing the other on her wrist. They looked up at each other.  

From 5.11 "The Last Chimera", in the tunnels, Chris fired his automatic gun at the Dread Doctors. JR Bourne.

From 2.12 "Master Plan", in the warehouse, Gerard crushed the Mountain Ash-laced pills in his hand.

From 3.23 "Insatiable", outside Oak Creek, Allison fired the silver arrow into the Oni's chest, killing him.

From 6.03 "Sundowning", in flashback to the dark laboratory, in the tube, Douglas/Hauptman punched against the glass.

From 6.04 "Relics", on the lacrosse field, Ghost Riders surrounded the field in the pouring rain.

From 5.20 "Apotheosis", in the tunnels, Theo was dragged away into the hole by his sister.

Warehouse District

The hunters were still firing up the pack.

A hunter tried to shoot Theo. Adriana grabbed him, slamming him down, knocking him out. Theo noted that she had saved his life again.

Adriana looked at Theo, nodding for him to help her get Deucalion to cover, asking for help from Angel and Chayton. "Theo, help me with Deuc. Angel! Chayton!"

Angel and Chayton nodded in understanding, stepping out of cover to face the hunters, using their screech roars to deflect the bullets long enough for Adriana and Theo to run out to Deucalion and pull him into cover behind a concrete column, sitting him up.

Derek ran up to a hunter, taking his gun from him, hitting him in the face with it, knocking him unconscious. A hunter tried to shoot Derek from behind, but Stacie shot him in the legs with a bullet and an arrow from her gun and crossbow, punching him in the face, making him fall unconscious. Derek and Stacie looked at each other, smirking slightly.

Tara took the gun from another hunter, spinning the gun around to hit him in the chest, spinning around to kick him in the head, making him fall unconscious, growling. A hunter tried to shoot Tara from behind. Scott grabbed him, lifting him up, slamming him down, knocking him out. Scott and Tara looked at each other, chuckling lightly.

Malia pushed a hunter into the wall, kneeing him in the chest, punching him in the face, slamming his head against the wall to knock him out, pushing him down.

Ari caught a gun that a hunter tried to shoot her with, punching him in the face twice, making him fall, holding the gun in her hand. The hunter tried to get up. Ari used the gun to hit him in the head hard enough to knock him out. Isaac ran up to a hunter that tried to shoot Ari from behind, flipping up to kick him in the head, knocking him out, landing on his feet next to Ari. They looked at each other and smiled.

Peter ran toward another hunter, pushing him against a stone column, punching him in the face twice, elbowing him in the head, kicking him down. He turned around, shifting, growling, running off.

Stacie flipped another hunter to the ground, kicking him away.

Angel, Chayton and Lydia stood together, using Angel and Chayton's screech roars and Lydia's Banshee scream to send all of the hunters running to their cars in retreat, including Monroe.

Stiles turned to Lydia. "I can't believe you didn't tell me about any of this. Not a word. Not a single word."

Lydia sighed, tilting her head. "We had reasons. Really good reasons."

"See, at least Stacie told me, after way too long of a hesitation," Stiles told them. "Right, Stacie?"

Stacie gave Stiles a defensive look. "How long did it take you to tell me or Tara that Derek was wanted by the FBI?"

Stiles didn't have a reply to that.

Adriana was kneeling next to Deucalion as he seemed to be in the process of dying, taking his hand to take his pain so he wouldn't be in agony as he was dying.

Theo watched curiously in concern.

Adriana looked up at her twin sister. "Ari..."

Ari nodded understandingly, kneeling on the other side of Deucalion so that she could try to help Adriana give Deucalion power so that he could heal.

Deucalion shook his head, struggling to speak. "Adriana... no." Ari and Adriana, and the others, were only slightly surprised that he didn't want them to try to save him, because he had already said no to fighting because of the body count. "Gerard... the thing he fears most... he can't beat you." He looked at Adriana, managing a smile. "And he knows it."

Deucalion slowly died in front of them, to the shock of all of them.

Adriana was in disbelief, more shock than all of them, to see her former Alpha die in front of her after everything that had happened, quickly getting angry, to the nervousness and concern of everyone else.

Stacie, Ari and Lydia looked at her worriedly. "Adriana..."

"Adri..." Theo trailed off.

Adriana slowly stood, looking at Theo, Ari and Lydia next to her. "Somebody's gonna pay for this."

"It's really started, hasn't it?" Malia asked.

"What's started?" Stiles asked.

"It's an all out war," Ari told them.

Ari looked at Derek, walking closer. Derek and Ari embraced for a moment, pulling away.

Adriana couldn't look away from Deucalion's dead body, in utter shock, though she was very angry, trying to control it. Theo rested his hand on Adriana's shoulder to keep her calm. Adriana held the hand that he held on her shoulder, reaching her other hand toward Deucalion to slowly close his eyes.

Peter looked at Derek. "As much as I enjoy the impromptu family reunion, what are you doing here?"

Derek crossed his arms over his chest. "I found a pack slaughtered in Brazil. There were two words written in blood on the wall. Beacon Hills."

"Scott, Stacie and I went to get Derek from North Carolina," Tara explained. "So that we could have a fighting chance."

Chayton looked at Derek. "You came back for Beacon Hills?"

Derek looked over all of them, as the pack, minus Natalie and Liam, finishing with looking at Stacie and Tara. "No. I came back for you."

Stacie managed a small smile. Tara nodded.

They heard Gerard's voice come over the police radio in the Jeep. "Blood and destruction, dreadful objects so familiar. All pity choked with custom of fell deeds. Caesar's spirit, ranging for revenge, with Ate by his side come hot from Hell, shall in these confines with a monarch's voice." The radio signal futzed out. They all walked closer to hear better, and to speak if necessary. "Do you know the rest, Scott? Do you know your Shakespeare?"

Ari motioned to Scott that she knew. Scott held up the radio handset.

Ari spoke into the radio. "'Cry 'Havoc' and let slip the dogs of war.'"

"War indeed," Gerard told her. "Very good, Arielle. You must all be feeling rather nostalgic. Are you pleased with the little family reunion I've gathered around you?"

Adriana angrily took the handset to talk to Gerard, threatening him. "Then why don't you come out and join us so I can thank you in person?"

"Sounds like you're upset with the death of your former Alpha, Adriana," Gerard told her. "I would only expect this after the death of former flame Brett and your former friend Lori. You have a lot of formers, Adriana. Including former Alpha Pack member Ethan."

They all looked at each other in confusion, worried.

"What about Ethan?" Adriana asked tensely.

"I have a few visitors for you," Gerard told them. "From London." In the Armory, Gerard walked toward Jackson, who was dangling from a pipe with his hands chained over his head with a stun baton. "Even someone like Jackson Whittemore. Couldn't resist coming back to Beacon Hills. Say hello, Jackson."

Gerard shoved the stun baton into Jackson's chest, making him groan a scream of pain so that they could hear. Lydia winced and looked away, while the rest of them looked at each other worriedly.

Jackson was mocking Gerard. "Do it again, old man. Come a little closer. I'm gonna shove that thing so far up your ass."

"He's lost none of his charm, has he?" Gerard asked mockingly. "You can find him here with us at the armory. In fact, I'm going to tell you where to find all of them. Like your uncle, Angel."

Angel looked worried by the thought of her uncle Jordan being in danger. Chayton was confused and concerned.

Eichen House - Hallway

Jordan was walking down the corridor of Eichen, ready to draw his gun when he needed. He was cornered by three Deputies and Gerard.

Gerard: (voice over) "Angel's uncle met some friends of his while responding to a call at Eichen House."

Sheriff's Station - Cells

Deputies were putting Raphael into a cell, locking him in.

Gerard: (voice over) "Scott's father was on his way back from San Francisco with the goal of entering the fight. But he didn't get far."

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - ICU

Natalie and Liam were still trapped in the ICU with the people on the hospital beds, being injected with wolfsbane.

Gerard: (voice over) "Scott, Arielle, Adriana, Angel, you might want to tell your mothers, Melissa, Macey and Amelia, to skip their shifts at the hospital tonight. Natalie and Liam and their friends are there now. Optimistic of them, but woefully ill-advised."

Natalie and Liam looked at each other worriedly.

Gerard: (voice over) "This is how you wage war."

Warehouse District

They were all still listening to Gerard's threat over the police radio.

"The strategic positioning of your army against theirs," Gerard told them. "Which is why you will come to me. You will try to save as many as you can. And you might even save a few. But your limited resources will be spread thin, and ultimately, you will fail." Adriana was getting angrier and angrier, clenching her fist around the radio. "The dogs of war, Adriana. They're coming for you."

Adriana became so angry that she crushed the radio in her hand, destroying it, throwing it down. The others looked at her worriedly while Ari, Lydia and Theo tried to calm her down.

The Loft - Living Room

Scott, Tara, Stacie, Derek, Stiles, Lydia, Ari, Isaac, Adriana, Theo, Angel, Chayton and Malia were meeting up in the loft, gathered around the table.

"So literally day one of my internship, up comes this slide about this guy they've been chasing in the woods in North Carolina," Stiles told them.

Malia looked at Derek. "I thought you were in South America."

"I was," Derek explained. "The bodies of the Werewolves I told you about? They blamed me."

"So, I learned the FBI's feral mass murdering unsub was once again saved by Scott, Tara and Stacie," Stiles told them.

"We followed a group of hunters gathering in a meeting place, and we were trying to get information," Scott explained.

"Well, the FBI found out about it, too, and they were planning a SWAT assault, to take Derek down, dead or alive," Stiles explained. "And as all we all know, though, with Derek, it was preferably dead."

Derek nodded in acknowledgement. "Preferably."

"So I convinced them to bring me in on the field op," Stiles told them.

"You convinced the FBI to bring an intern into an extremely dangerous field operation?" Lydia asked.

"I'm surprised he didn't convince them he could lead it," Isaac admitted.

"I tried, didn't work," Stiles told them. "Anyway, long story short, I basically, you know, had to save Scott, Tara, Stacie and Derek's lives."

Stiles seemed to be practically carrying an injured Stacie, Derek, Scott and Tara in tow.

Night - The Loft - Living Room

Scott, Tara, Stacie, Derek, Stiles, Lydia, Ari, Isaac, Adriana, Theo, Angel, Chayton and Malia were gathered around the table.

Scott, Tara, Stacie and Derek gave Stiles a look.

"That's not how it happened," Tara told them.

"Yeah, I may have left out a detail, but that's the gist of what happened," Stiles told them. "That was the essential essence of it."

"You couldn't walk," Tara told him.

"I was limping," Stiles told them.

"You couldn't walk, and I know that, because while Stacie was helping Derek, Tara and I were carrying you," Scott told him.

Stiles looked down.

Night - Warehouse - Outside

Stacie was helping an injured Derek along while he was healing. Scott and Tara had Stiles between them, an arm over each of their shoulders, carrying him by the arms down the way. Stiles had his feet up above the ground, missing a shoe, crying and screaming.

Night - The Loft - Living Room

Scott, Tara, Stacie, Derek, Stiles, Lydia, Ari, Isaac, Adriana, Theo, Angel, Chayton and Malia were gathered around the table.

"They shot my toe," Stiles told them defensively. "You want to see it?" Derek rolled his eyes in annoyance, looking at Stacie. Stacie shook her head, not knowing what to tell him. "My toe was caught in the crossfire. It was obliterated."

Adriana and Theo rolled their eyes.

"Okay, forget your toe," Theo told him.

"Obliterated," Stiles repeated.

"Stiles, I've been shot in the stomach, shoulder and arm, and I've never made that big of a deal because of it," Stacie told him.

Stiles gave Stacie a confused look, acting like the protective twin brother. "I'm sorry, what? When did you get shot in the arm? Last time I checked, you only got shot in the stomach and shoulder. Stacie, when did you get shot in the arm?" He looked at Scott, Tara and Derek. "Did you know she got shot in the arm?"

Scott and Tara exchanged a look. Derek sighed, looking down. "Uh..."

Stiles looked at Ari. "Ari, did you know that Stace got shot again? Stace is your best friend, Ari."

Ari shook her head. "Don't look at me. I didn't know she got shot a third time. It must've happened when they left to get you guys."

"Yeah, by Kate," Scott answered.

"Kate?" Stiles repeated. He looked at Stacie. "Are you freaking kidding me, Stace? You almost got killed by Kate again?"

"Stiles, shut up, please," Stacie told him. "It was a graze, not life-threatening."

"Guys, it's not just the hunters," Angel told them. "We've got another problem."

Chayton nodded. "It's called the Anuk-ite."

Liam and Natalie were still trapped in the ICU with the rest of the hunters out there.

Liam was looking out of the doors. "They're everywhere, Natalie."

Natalie was looking at her phone. "My phone's not working, and I think they're using a cell jammer."

"So what do we do?" Liam asked.

Natalie sighed, shaking her head. "We can't leave without Mason and Cory, and we can't wait around for help, Liam."

"So it's just you and me?" Liam asked.

Natalie nodded nervously. "Against them."

"Natalie, we can't get out of here without them seeing us," Liam told her. Natalie sighed, nodding knowingly. "The Anuk-ite is increasing your fear of losing someone else, of losing me. But we got this. You're not gonna lose me. And I'm not gonna lose you."

Natalie sighed shakily in relief, nodding. "I know, you're right. I love you, Liam."

"I love you, too, Natalie," Liam told her.

"We might die tonight," Natalie told him.

Liam shook his head, placing his hand on her cheek. "We're not dying tonight."

Liam and Natalie kissed slowly but passionately for a long moment, pulling away, smiling small smiles.

"Are you ready?" Natalie asked.

"I am if you are," Liam answered.

They both smiled.

Cory was making sure the coast was clear.

"Is it a weird time to tell you that I love you?" Mason asked.

Cory and Mason smiled, kissing passionately for a long moment. Cory pulled away, taking Mason by the hand so that he could turn them invisible and make their way through the hospital without being seen.

Nolan was still unconscious in the morgue. Melissa and Macey were with him.

Melissa cracked a package of ammonium carbonate under Nolan's nose to wake him up. "You all right?"

Nolan nodded. "I--I think so."

Macey was dabbing the blood on his head away. "Who knocked you out? One of our friends, or one of yours?"

"I'm not sure if I have any friends right now," Nolan admitted.

"Not sure I blame them," Melissa told him. "You okay to stand? We're gonna need your help."

Melissa and Macey stood.

"With what?" Nolan asked.

"Taking back the hospital," Macey answered, handing her stun baton to Melissa so she could use it.

"What are you gonna use?" Melissa asked. Macey pulled out a gun, cocking it. Melissa looked amused. "Let me guess, Macey. Argent gave you that?"

Macey nodded. Melissa and Macey smirked.

Armory - Basement

Gerard was showing the poison that Kate had stolen from Scott, Stacie, Tara and Derek to Monroe. "This is all that we could find." Monroe looked into the case that held three bullets fashioned with the poison. "Extremely rare. But enough to make four bullets."

"And more than powerful enough to kill a Valkyrie, two Hellhounds and a Raven," Monroe stated. "Where's the fourth bullet?"

"In Eichen House with one of the Hellhounds," Gerard answered. "He needs to be frozen before the bullet can work to kill him. Amelia and Isaiah Fain will come for Jordan Parrish on the request of their daughter Angel Fain. You just need to get a bullet into Angel."

Monroe smirked. "I will."

The Loft - Living Room

Scott, Tara, Stacie, Derek, Stiles, Lydia, Ari, Isaac, Adriana, Theo, Angel, Chayton and Malia were gathered around the table.

"It can get into your head, make you see things," Adriana explained.

"What does it look like?" Derek asked.

"It used to look like two ordinary people," Ari answered. "But somehow they merged. All we know is that it's made up of two faces. One human, the other supernatural."

"It's a shapeshifter, just like us," Chayton told them. "But it knows what you're afraid of, what you fear most."

"And now it can kill you just by looking at you," Malia told them.

Ari was thinking. "If it's a shapeshifter just like us, I think I know how to catch it."

"Of course, Ari comes up with the plan to save everyone," Adriana told them sarcastically. "Who couldn't see that coming?"

Ari gave her twin a look. "Shut up, Adriana."

Adriana rolled her eyes, sighing, as if to say 'Fine'. "Sorry, Ari."

Theo chuckled.

"Okay, so you're telling me we gotta go up against this thing blind and face our deepest fear?" Stiles asked.

"Yeah," Angel answered. "Why? What do you fear most?"

Stiles scoffed. "Blindness."

"Becoming blind?" Isaac asked.

Stiles nodded. "Yeah, terrified of it. Always have been. This just seems to be a situation of unfortunate overlap."

"Stacie, you, Lydia and Stiles need to find Chris," Ari told her. "Get to the armory, rescue Jackson."

"I don't think we have time to wait for him," Lydia told her. "Ari, you and I've gotten through those doors once, anyway. I can do it again."

"Can we slow down just for one second?" Theo asked. "Make sure I'm grasping this. So, we're actually talking about doing this? We're gonna do exactly what Gerard wants us to? Is that right?"

"Theo, we think that if we stop the Anuk-ite, we stop it all," Adriana explained.

"Stopping this thing can stop Gerard and the hunters?" Derek asked.

"Not all of them are hunters," Stacie told them.

"Stacie's right," Angel told them. "Most of them are ordinary people acting out of fear."

"Monroe's not gonna change," Tara told them. "But I think that we can reach the others. Most of them, actually."

"The Anuk-ite is causing them to come from a place of fear," Chayton explained.

"Chayton, fear is pretty motivating, especially when it leads to anger," Adriana told him.

"Adriana, I think that if we take out the fear, we can take out the fight in them, too," Scott told her. "They're afraid of us, but they don't have to be. They just have to change their minds."

"We have to change their minds, Adriana," Ari told her.

Malia sighed. "We can face the Anuk-ite, we can try to fight it blind, we can try to face our fears. But, we still need to know how to catch it."

"Well, we'll figure that out," Stacie told them. "We always do."

"Stacie, it's nice to see that somebody hasn't lost their optimism," Derek told her.

Stacie smiled. "Not yet."

"Stacie might not have, but I have, Adriana," Theo told her. Adriana looked at Theo. Theo shook his head. "Don't blame me."

"Not blaming you, Theo," Adriana told him. "I'm losing optimism, too."

"Adriana, we will buy you time," Lydia told her. "So don't lose your optimism just yet. Who knows? Maybe Jackson has the answer."

"Maybe Chris will come back with one," Adriana told them.

"All right, Ari, Adriana, next order of business," Stacie told them.

Isaac, Ari, Adriana and Stacie spoke together, saying either "Nattie, Natalie, or Liam" at the same time.

"Right," Adriana agreed.

Ari looked between Adriana, Isaac and Theo. "Yep, Stacie's right. Adriana, Isaac, Theo, we're going to the hospital. All we need to do is buy them more time."

Isaac nodded in agreement. "Wherever Natalie and Liam and the others are, we get them out of there."

"Are we buying you time to come up with a way to kill the Anuk-ite, or get more help?" Theo asked.

"Both," Malia answered. "Oh, and Adriana..."

Adriana sighed, rolling her eyes. "Yeah, I know. No killing, no maiming, no hurting more than we need to. Take all the fun out of it, why don't you?"

They all, except Theo, gave Adriana a look.

Theo tilted his head, a little amused. "Adri."

Adriana hesitated, not wanting to let anyone get away with killing Brett, Lori, and Deucalion, or trying to kill everyone else.

Stacie, Ari and Lydia all gave her a look, saying either"Adri or Adriana."

Adriana sighed, rolling her eyes. "All right, Stacie. Fine, Lydia. Ari, I'll be good."

Scott looked at Malia, Tara, Derek, Angel and Chayton. "Tara, Derek, Angel, Chayton, Malia, you're with me. Tara, we need Peter. Anyone who can help us stop this thing, slow it down."

"Tara, where are we headed?" Chayton asked.

"The high school," Tara answered.

"That's where we're gonna find this thing?" Derek asked.

Angel shook her head. "No. It'll find us."

Peter was examining the two hunters that had been turned into stone by the Anuk-ite in 6.18 Genotype, on the phone. "Two bodies. No blood, no wounds."

Malia's voice was on the other line. "What do they look like?"

"Statues, Greek," Peter answered.

Malia sounded worried. "Peter, close your eyes. Close them now."

Peter could no longer hear Malia's voice on the phone as the call dropped. He looked around the hallway in confusion.

He heard a hallucination version of Malia's voice. "Dad?"

He heard a hallucination version of Tara's voice. "Peter? Peter?"

Peter felt something coming up behind him, turning to look, seeing the Anuk-ite behind him. The Anuk-ite glared at Peter, turning him to stone.

Armory - Basement

Jackson was still cuffed and chained to a pipe with his hands over his head, his claws out. He started to taunt the hunter guarding him. "You're afraid of me, aren't you? Did they tell you why you should be afraid of me? If you're not afraid, why don't you come a little closer?"

"Shut up," the hunter told him.

Jackson smirked. "It's because I'm still part-Kanima. Do you know what that is?" He chuckled, looking up at the claws on his hands. "Look at these claws. Come on. Come take a look." The hunter slowly, hesitantly walked closer. "These claws produce a venom that can paralyze you. I even have different eyes. Watch this." Jackson closed his eyes, concentrating with quite a bit of effort. When he opened them, he had yellow, black slitted Kanima eyes. He let his eyes go back to normal. "I can't change completely, but... it's kinda like having a tiptronic transmission. I can switch from automatic to manual. Do you like cars? I used to drive a Porsche, but, uh, I can't drive sports cars anymore. There's no room for my tail."

With visible effort, Jackson flipped his tail out, wrapping it around the guard's neck, slamming him into the wall, making him fall unconscious. He used the tip of his tail to grab the keys from his unconscious body, smirking.

Beacon Hills High School - Hallway

Scott, Tara, Malia, Derek, Angel and Chayton arrived to the high school, seeing that Peter was already turned to stone.

"He's not dead," Malia told them. "He can't be."

Chayton focused his hearing. "He has a heartbeat, but it's faint."

They heard running footsteps.

"We're not alone," Derek told them.

"Scott, Tara?" Angel asked. "You think Ari's right, about her idea to catch the Anuk-ite?"

"Ari's always right," Tara answered. "We just need something from Stiles and Stacie and Lydia first."

Scott nodded in agreement. "Tara's right. Ari's logic has never failed before. It won't fail now."

Armory - Hallway

Stacie was in the armory hallway, taking out the guards so that Lydia could scream at the armory door to free Jackson. Stacie punched a hunter in the face, kicking him in the chest, making him fall. Another hunter grabbed Stacie's shoulder. Stacie broke the hold he had on her, twisting his arm down to hurt him, grabbing his head, slamming it against the wall, turning to see another hunter approaching her from behind, kicking back into his leg to make him fall, letting the hunter in her arms fall unconscious.

Other hunters walked closer to try to shoot Lydia. Stiles and Lydia ducked, with Stiles covering Lydia for safety.

Stacie ducked, using her gun and crossbow to shoot the hunters that were shooting at them in the arms and legs to make them stop and fall. Another hunter came up from next to Stacie, trying to punch her. Stacie ducked, punching him in the face, kicking him in the chest, hitting her gun against his head to knock him out, turning to see another hunter walking up behind her, spinning to kick him in the chest, grabbing him, slamming him into the wall head first, letting him fall unconscious.

Basement

Jackson was making his way toward the basement door when he heard the fighting and gunfire from the hallway, preparing for a fight. He also heard Lydia's Banshee scream from right outside the door, as the door was being torn down by Lydia's scream.

Stiles burst the door down the rest of the way. "Jackson."

"Stiles?" Jackson asked in surprise. He saw Stacie in the hallway, punching out a guard, and that she was surrounded by the unconscious guards she had knocked out, in shock. "Stacie?"

Lydia walked closer. "Jackson?"

"Already covered that," Stiles told them.

Lydia ran into the room, full force into Jackson's arms, squealing. "Oh, my God, it's you!" Jackson smiled, embracing her. "It's really you. I can't believe it's you."

Stacie walked closer, chuckling in amusement.

Stiles found this a bit awkward. "Okay, that's nice. Okay, not too close. Watch the, uh, watch the hands. Okay." He pried Jackson and Lydia apart. "Okay, all right, let's break that up."

Jackson looked from the unconscious bodies in the hallway to Stacie in surprise, impressed. "Stacie, you did that?"

Stacie smiled. "Yeah, I did that."

Stiles nodded. "Stacie's gotten a lot more badass since the last time you were here." Stacie smiled. "Lydia and I took down the door. I got involved, contributed." Lydia and Stacie both patted Stiles on the shoulders. "Let's get the hell out of here, huh?"

"Not without Ethan," Jackson told them, walking past them toward the door.

Stiles, Lydia and Stacie turned to face him.

"Ethan?" Stacie repeated. "What's Ethan doing here?"

Jackson turned to face them. "He's with me."

"He's with you?" Stacie repeated.

"Yes, me," Jackson answered.

"Ethan?" Stiles asked.

"Yes, Ethan," Jackson answered.

"And you..." Lydia trailed off in realization.

"Ethan?" Stiles repeated.

"Yeah," Jackson answered.

Stacie realized, in shock. "Oh, my God."

Lydia sighed, shaking her head. "I thought you would never figure it out."

Stiles and Stacie smiled.

Jackson chuckled, smiling, shaking his head. "Can we go find him now?"

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - ICU

Natalie and Liam were still in hiding in the ICU with the four patients on the wolfsbane IVs. The man in the last bed was only pretending to be a Werewolf and pretending to be unconscious, retrieving a gun from his bedding, standing. Natalie and Liam saw him, ducking before he could shoot them. Liam ran toward the hunter, pushing him against the wall, turning around, throwing him to the floor in front of Natalie. Natalie picked the hunter up, punching him in the face, turning around, throwing him through the doors of the room, out into the hallway, making him hit his head and fall to the floor, unconscious.

Hallway

Natalie and Liam knew they couldn't stay in the ICU anymore now that they were found, running out into the hallway to get away, but were stopped when several hunters, one of them being Gabe, aimed their guns at them to stop them from running down the hall.

Gabe stopped the other hunters from firing. "Wait. Let me do it." Natalie took Liam's hand, pulling him with her back toward the elevators behind them. "Go ahead, Natalie. Run, Liam. It'll be more fun that way."

Just as Natalie and Liam got back to the elevator, the doors opened, and Isaac and Ari pulled Natalie and Liam inside to safety as the hunters opened fire. Adriana and Theo were also inside, kicking two hunters back into the hallway as they tried to get into the elevator, taking cover from the gunfire until the doors closed. The doors to the elevator were bulletproof. Natalie and Liam looked at Isaac, Ari, Theo and Adriana in surprise, while Natalie and Isaac embraced in relief.

"Izzy?" Natalie asked.

"It's okay, Nattie," Isaac told her.

Natalie and Isaac remained in their embrace for a moment longer in relief, pulling away.

"How did you guys know?" Liam asked.

"Gerard wanted us to know," Ari answered. "After they killed Deucalion, he wanted us all to be split up."

"Deucalion's dead?" Natalie asked in shock.

"Yeah," Adriana answered. "Long story short, Natalie, these hunters are severely pissing me off."

Natalie looked around the elevator in frustration. "God, why does it always have to be elevators? I've been stuck in this damn hospital elevator four times now." She gestured to Theo, Adriana and Liam. "Second time was because of the three of you, too, and Stacie, Angel and Chayton."

"Sorry for sticking you in a confined space to save your life again, Natalie," Theo told her sarcastically.

"Yeah, if Natalie loses control in an elevator and kills you, you won't be saying that," Isaac replied. "You're talking to a Werewolf with claustrophobia, here. And with hunters out to kill us all, and the fact that she was already trapped and freaking out before getting stuck in an elevator, it's looking like Adriana might not be the only one losing control, if Natalie does."

Liam worriedly stepped closer to Natalie to help her calm down. "Natalie, hey." Natallie sighed, nodding, trying to calm down, hanging her head, leaning it against Liam's shoulder, as he put his arms around her to stay in control, holding onto him to anchor herself to control. "It's okay, Nattie."

Adriana and Theo looked at each other, the sight of Liam helping Natalie stay calm and in control obviously reminding them about themselves.

Knowing that Adriana was still angry about what happened earlier, and that she needed to be calm before the fight, Theo took her wrist, tracing the double infinity sign tattoo to keep her anchored to control. Adriana finished the trace by tracing the other infinity mark.

Scott, Tara, Malia, Angel, Chayton and Derek were in hiding as hunters ran past.

"We can't just hide," Malia told them. "They're not gonna last long like that."

"Well, neither will we, if that thing finds us, too," Derek told them.

"We've got to wait for Stiles and Stacie," Scott told them.

"But we don't have to wait here," Angel told them, walking down the hallway.

The others followed her.

"Wait, Angel, hold on," Chayton told her. They stopped when they sensed someone behind them, thinking that it would be the Anuk-ite, so they didn't turn around because they thought they would turn into stone. It was really Monroe standing there with a gun, shooting  Angel in the shoulder with one of the bullets with the poison to kill her, making her fall to the floor. Chayton knelt next to her worriedly. "Angel?"

"Chayton, I'm okay," Angel told him, holding her shoulder in pain. "I'm okay."

"We can't let her go," Scott told them.

Derek and Malia looked at Monroe, shifting, letting their eyes glow blue, running down the hallway after Monroe, chasing her away.

Chayton helped Angel sit up, holding her.

Scott and Tara knelt next to them to check on Angel's wound.

"No, you're not okay, Angel," Tara told her.

"What do you mean, Tara?" Chayton asked.

Tara didn't answer right away.

Angel gave her a look. "Tara, what do you mean?"

Tara sighed. "It's the poison that Kate stole from us. It's strong enough to kill Hellhounds, Ravens... even Valkyries."

Scott shook his head worriedly. "I think what Tara means to say... It's gonna kill you."

Angel and Chayton looked at Scott and Tara in surprise and worry.

Two hunters were making their way down the hallway, guns held ready. Hunter 1 seemed to be hit by an invisible force, doubling over, falling to the floor. Hunter 2 also seemed to be hit by something invisible, his head slammed against the wall, both falling unconscious.

Mason and Cory became visible, both looking exhilarated from being able to help. Mason was holding a partially filled bedpan.

"Are you okay?" Cory asked.

"Yeah," Mason answered. "Except I think that this bedpan was still being used."

They both shuddered. Mason tossed the bedpan down on the unconscious guards, making liquid leak out of it to the floor.

Lydia and Jackson finally found Ethan chained up alone in a room, running to his side.

Ethan looked at Jackson. "How did you get out before me?"

Jackson chuckled. "Well, I talked my way out of it."

"You used the tail, didn't you?" Ethan asked.

Lydia looked at Jackson in surprise. "You still have a tail?"

"It's so gross," Ethan told her.

Jackson broke through Ethan's restraints. "Can you just get up? Let's go."

Jackson helped Ethan up. They both smiled.

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Elevator

Ari, Isaac, Adriana, Theo, Natalie and Liam were still in the elevator, getting ready for a fight. Natalie was still trying not to lose control, with Liam's help to stay calm. They were listening to heartbeats in the hallway.

"Are they still out there?" Theo asked. Ari and Isaac nodded. "Look, I'm not dying in a hospital."

"No one's gonna die tonight," Ari told them. "Period."

"We fight together," Natalie told them. She looked at Liam. "Like you said. We're not dying."

Liam nodded in agreement.

"You guys ready for a fight?" Isaac asked.

"I'm always ready for a fight," Adriana answered. "Let's fight."

Hallway

The elevator doors opened. Adriana and Theo ran out first, with Adriana's eyes glowing completely purple, and Theo's eyes glowing gold. They jumped along the walls to get past bullets, turning to throw their hunters into the walls, making them fall unconscious.

Natalie and Liam ran out of the elevator, letting their eyes glow gold. Liam punched a hunter in the face, pushing the gun up to make him shoot the ceiling, kicking him in the stomach, tossing him down, kicking him in the head, knocking him out.

Natalie slid over the floor to avoid being shot, grabbing a hunter, standing, flipping him to the floor, punching him in the head, knocking him out.

Ari and Isaac ran out of the elevator, with Ari's eyes glowing red, and Isaac's eyes glowing gold. Isaac punched a hunter in the face, turning to throw him into the wall, making him fall unconscious.

Ari grabbed a hunter by his shirt, lifting him up, slamming him onto the floor. Isaac was about to get shot by another hunter. Ari ran closer, rolling over Isaac's back to kick the hunter that was about to shoot him, making him fall unconscious. Ari and Isaac both stood, looking at each other in relief.

Liam and Natalie grabbed another hunter, throwing him against the wall, making him fall unconscious. They looked at each other, smiling small smiles.

As another hunter was about to shoot Theo, Adriana caught his gun, twisting the gun out of his arms, punching him in the chest, using the gun to hit him hard in the head, knocking him out, making him fall. Theo kicked down another hunter, knocking him out, turning to look at Adriana. Adriana gave him a smug look for saving his life again. Theo smirked in amusement, shaking his head.

Liam, Natalie, Isaac, Ari, Adriana and Theo all turned to look down the hallway, to see another hunter setting up a shot. Before he could shoot, Melissa used a stun baton to shock him into unconsciousness.

Natalie smiled. "Melissa." Macey walked closer with the gun that Chris had given her. "Macey."

Macey used the gun to shoot a hunter behind them that was about to shoot them, hitting him in the arm, making him fall to the floor and drop his gun. Natalie turned to punch him hard in the head to knock him out.

Ari and Adriana were in shock to see their mother use a gun like that, smiling, impressed. "Mom."

Theo looked at Ari and Adriana. "See? Told you your mom can be just as scary as the two of you."

Ari and Adriana smirked.

Nolan ran closer to help, grabbing a hunter's gun, using it to hit him in the head, making him fall unconscious, much to the shock of Liam, Natalie, Isaac, Ari, Adriana and Theo. He looked behind them. "Get down!"

Nolan, Macey and Melissa ran for cover. Liam, Natalie, Isaac, Ari, Adriana and Theo turned to see Gabe standing behind them with two automatic guns aimed at them, starting to run as he started to shoot, ducking down to avoid getting shot, running for cover. Liam, Isaac and Theo each pulled Natalie, Ari and Adriana into safety.

Derek and Malia were keeping a watch out for the Anuk-ite or hunters, splitting up.

Chayton carried the weakening Angel into the empty chemistry room, placing her down by a desk. "Sit down, sit down."

Angel sighed painfully. "Chayton..." Scott and Tara were looking through the cabinets of the chemistry room. "Scott, Tara, just go. Find Derek and Malia."

"They're not the ones I'm worried about, Angel," Chayton told her.

"We gotta get rid of this," Scott told them. Tara found a lighter, walking toward them. "You get rid of wolfsbane by burning it out. Maybe it'll work for this, too."

Angel was trying to get up.

Tara stopped her. "You're not gonna be able to do much until you heal."

"If Ari's right, we just need Stiles and Stacie to get here," Angel told them.

"Like Tara said, Ari's always right," Scott told them. "But we are doing this."

Angel sighed, nodding. "Okay."

Scott and Chayton held Angel still so that Tara could put the flame against Angel's skin to burn the poison out of her wound, making her groan and scream in pain and struggle within their grasp, not hurt by the fire, but hurt by the poison being forced out of her body, until she eventually lost consciousness momentarily.

Chayton held Angel sitting up against his chest, trying to wake her up. "Angel? Angel."

"She's okay, Chayton," Tara told him. "She just needs a moment to heal."

"Chayton, she's gonna be okay," Scott reassured. "Tara knows what she's doing, and when Tara cures a wound, it's cured, trust me."

Chayton nodded.

Chayton, Scott and Tara could feel the fear of the Anuk-ite coming.

"It's here," Chayton told them.

"Chayton, stay with Angel," Tara told him. "We'll be fine."

"Tara..." Scott trailed off worriedly. "Let's go."

Tara nodded.

Scott and Tara slowly made their way out of the classroom. Scott let his eyes glow red. Tara let her eyes glow a deep, intense blue.

Hallway

Jackson, Lydia and Ethan slowly walked into the school.

"Remember, you can't look at it," Lydia told them. "You have to fight it blind."

"How about we don't fight it?" Ethan asked. "Just get our friends and get the hell out of here?"

"That works for me," Jackson told them.

They were all suddenly overwhelmed by fear, nearly paralyzed by it, but fought their way through it.

"It's here," Lydia told them. "Shut your eyes."

"Lydia..." Jackson trailed off.

Lydia closed her eyes, panicking. "Shut your eyes."

Eichen House - Hallway

Three deputies had Jordan inside Halwyn's cell, having turned on the freezer to freeze Jordan alive.

One of the deputies was the one that had talked to Noah in 6.19 Broken Glass, Deputy Farrell.

"Look at him," a deputy told them. "Gerard said that he would have to be nearly frozen before we shot him with one of these bullets. You think he's close enough?"

Amelia and Isaiah walked closer.

"Not likely," Isaiah answered. "Not that easy to kill a Hellhound. Or a Raven. Or a Valkyrie. You know that's what we're called, right? I mean, if you're gonna wander into this world, you might as well have all the information."

Amelia nodded in agreement. "But our daughter Angel... the niece to Jordan in there... she warns us that you have a couple of bullets that might even kill us. Right, Isaiah?"

"It's not so easy to kill us when we have fair warning," Isaiah told them.

The Deputies drew their guns, aiming them at Amelia and Isaiah.

"Nobody here wants to get hurt," Farrell told them.

"Well, then, put your guns down, deputies," Amelia told them. "You're trying to kill my brother. Tried to kill my daughter. Trying to kill me and my husband? You're gonna get hurt."

"Do you really want to shoot us?" Isaiah asked. "You don't, do you?"

"We're not gonna let you take him out of here, either," Farrell told them.

Isaiah smirked. "I don't know about that. There's only three of you."

As the deputies tried to shoot them, Isaiah used his screech to deflect the bullets. Amelia used bursts of fire from her hands to burn the guns out of their hands and make them drop them. Isaiah and Amelia slammed all three of their heads against the walls, making them fall unconscious, opening the door to Hawlyn's cell to free Jordan, walking toward him to get him out of there.

"Where's Angel?" Jordan asked.

"Healing," Amelia answered. "She told us to come save you. Said that she had things under control. She just wanted us to save her uncle JP."

Jordan smiled knowingly.

Lydia had become separated from Jackson and Ethan. She closed the door, taking a moment to gather herself, turning to find Malia turned to stone, gasping.

Jackson was trying to make his way through the locker room with his eyes closed. "Ethan? Ethan?"

"I'm here," Ethan told him.

Jackson nodded, turning his head. "Where's Lydia?"

"I don't know," Ethan told him. "I closed my eyes and I couldn't see which way she went."

"Where are you?" Jackson asked.

Ethan's voice sounded echoy. "Right in front of you."

Jackson opened his eyes to see the Anuk-ite in front of him instead of Ethan, gasping as he was turned to stone.

The Anuk-ite walked toward the door, passing by a turned to stone Ethan on its way.

Amelia, Isaiah and Jordan met up with Noah and Raphael in the cells.

Noah used his key card to release Raphael from the cell.

Raphael stood, walking closer. "What's the plan?"

"City wide disarmament," Noah answered. "Anyone with a weapon issued by Gerard is gonna relinquish it."

Jordan handed Raphael's guns to him. "And we're gonna use force if necessary."

Beacon Hills High School - Hallway

Derek was making his way through the hallway, with his eyes glowing blue.

He heard the creepy, hysterical giggle of Void!Stacie. "Derek, is that you?" Derek saw the shadow of Void!Stacie walking toward the hallway he was in, turning away, closing his eyes. "Derek? Derek, it's me."

"You're not Stacie," Derek told her.

"Not the real Stacie, no," Void!Stacie agreed, walking closer smugly. "But then, I always did love to play little mind games with you when I was her." Derek flicked out his claws, keeping his eyes closed as he turned to face her. Void!Stacie smirked in amusement. "Don't you wanna look at me? Are you gonna let your poor, precious Stacie die... again? You saw her die, after you evolved. You left to go chase her would-be killer, to make her pay for what she did to your beloved. Well, that and to make her pay for what she did to Tara, making her lover nearly kill her while he was a Berserker. You couldn't let Kate get away with what she did to your sister and your sweetheart. You taught Stacie how to defend herself, but it wasn't enough. She was able to survive an attack from a Chimera, but only after she killed. She turned into me. And you can't stand the thought that you were a million miles away when she was breaking. Did you know that she would eventually take that fall? Darken her soul like mine? Like yours?"

Derek was trying not to look at her, keep his eyes closed. "Shut up."

"That's what you all used to love to say to me every time I spoke too much, went too far," Void!Stacie told him tauntingly, laughing. "You knew that if you let yourself get caught up with Stacie, that she would get hurt in the end. Too bad the reason that she got hurt this time is because you weren't there to protect her. You know she never stood a chance with you, Derek, and you know it. You should've kept watching poor, delicate Stacie from behind glass." Derek angrily slashed toward Void!Stacie, but she easily caught his arm. "Derek, look at me. Open your eyes. Please? Don't you want to look at your love? You've always wanted Stacie, Derek. Go ahead. Take what you want." Void!Stacie trailed Derek's hand down her cheek, neck, chest and stomach seductively. "Please look at me." Derek took his hand away. Void!Stacie stepped closer, placing a hand on either of his cheeks, sounding gentler and kinder, more like the real Stacie to trick him into opening his eyes by making him think the real Stacie was here now. "Hey, it's me. It's not real. I'm real. I'm here."

Derek opened his eyes only to see the Anuk-ite in front of him, turned to stone.

Scott and Tara were making their way through the hallway, feeling the fear of whenever the Anuk-ite was around, closing their eyes, continuing on their way.

Kate was searching the armory, growing ever more frustrated that she couldn't find what she was looking for. "Come on. Come on. Come on! Where is it?"

Gerard walked closer. "You actually think I would trust you with the last few ounces of the poison?"

"I'm your daughter," Kate told him. "I'm an Argent."

"But still one of them," Gerard replied, walking closer.

"So you gave it all to her?" Kate asked skeptically. "You gave it to Monroe?"

"Well, I kept enough for one last bullet," Gerard told her, drawing a gun, shooting Kate in the stomach, making her fall to the floor. "That bullet."

Monroe walked up to the statue of Peter, reaching out to touch him.

Hunters walked up to the statue of Derek. "We got another one here. I don't know if he's dead, but he definitely looks vulnerable."

Kate was still writhing on the floor, bleeding from the gut.

Gerard smirked, walking closer. "It's over now, Kate. Everything fell into place."

Chris walked in. "Not everything." Kate and Gerard were both surprised to see him. Gerard aimed his gun at Chris. "It's time to put the guns down."

Gerard frowned. "What are you talking about?"

Chris walked closer. "Ari knows how to save them, all of them."

Beacon Hills High School - Hallway

Scott and Tara still had their eyes closed.

They could hear whispers of Void!Stiles. "Trying to find Angel and Chayton, are you, Scott? Tara? Trying to find the others? They're all stone, aside from the Valkyrie and the Chimera. Scott, they're next to go. Open your eyes, Tara. Your friends, your family are gone. They're gone because of you. You failed them."

Allison took the place of Void!Stiles, walking toward Scott and Tara. "You failed everyone. And especially her. Especially Allison. Especially your family, Tara. They're all dead, but you're the one left standing."

Scott was incredibly upset at hearing Allison like this. Tara was somber but angry that the Anuk-ite was doing this to them.

Void!Stacie took the place of Allison, walking toward Scott and Tara. "I know what you're thinking, Tara. You should've died with them. All you have to do is open your eyes. I can reunite you with your dead family."

Tara kept her eyes closed, angrily slashing toward Void!Stacie, but she disappeared. Scott sensed that an Oni was trying to hit him, pushing what was really the Anuk-ite back. The Oni disappeared.

Scott opened his eyes to grab Tara's wrist. "Tara, come on."

Scott and Tara turned to go, only to see the Anuk-ite standing in front of them, turning to stone.

Angel and Chayton had made their way to the library, having their eyes closed.

"Angel?" Chayton asked.

"Chayton, it's coming," Angel told him.

The Anuk-ite, in Amelia's form, walked closer. "Hiding in the library, Angel? Hiding from me?"

"We're not hiding," Angel told her angrily.

Isaiah appeared in the place of Amelia. "Are you trying to find your friends, Chayton?"

Jordan appeared. "They're all gone."

Malia appeared. "They're all dead."

Lydia appeared. "They saw my face, and it drove them insane."

Stiles appeared. "You think you can fight me, but you can't."

Scott appeared. "No one can fight me."

Ari appeared, walking closer. "No one can stand a chance against me."

Tara appeared, standing in front of Angel. "Not even you."

Liam appeared, standing in front of Chayton. "And not you."

Derek appeared, slashing toward Angel. "Open your eyes."

Angel ducked the blow with her eyes still closed.

Natalie appeared, walking closer. "Maybe the Valkyrie inside you can keep your eyes closed, Angel..."

Adriana appeared, turning to face them. "But Chayton can't keep his eyes closed forever."

Theo appeared, slashing toward Chayton. "Open your eyes, Chayton."

Chayton ducked, backing away.

Angel and Chayton could hear Lydia's Banshee scream in their heads, holding their hands over their ears. Angel screamed in frustration.

Stacie appeared, walking closer. "Chayton. Open them, Angel."

Stiles appeared. "All you have to do is open your eyes."

Scott appeared. "Your fear is different, Angel."

Ari appeared, reaching toward Angel. "There's power underneath it."

Isaac appeared. "Your power."

Liam appeared, chuckling. "The power of a Valkyrie."

Angel circled around the Anuk-ite, with her eyes still closed.

Natalie appeared, laughing. "Your fear brings me freedom!"

Malia appeared, walking closer. "I won't be trapped again."

Adriana appeared. "I won't be caught or caged ever again." She gripped Angel by her throat. "Not ever!"

The Anuk-ite, still gripping Angel's throat, took form of Ari. "Open your eyes, Angel."

"We know how to fight you," Chayton told her. "And we know how to catch you."

Angel used her screech roar to send the Anuk-ite, still in Ari's form, flying off of her to the floor.

Chayton couldn't resist temptation of opening his eyes much longer, knowing that he had to stab his talons into his own eyes, clawing into them, screaming, blinding himself.

Angel knew what he was doing, wincing, keeping her eyes closed, flinching at the sound of his pain. "Chayton!"

Chayton let his bloodstained hands fall to his sides, looking up with bleeding, blinded eyes.

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Hallway

The hunters were still attacking.

Natalie grabbed a hunter, slamming him down, slamming his head against the wall, turning to see Gabe behind her and aiming a gun at her. Liam ran closer to tackle Gabe away, wrestling with him for the gun.

A hunter was trying to shoot Liam but Gabe was in the way, radioing Monroe. "I can't get a shot. What do you want me to do?"

"Just shoot him," Monroe answered. "Shoot both of them."

Ari ran toward Gabe and Liam to separate them. Natalie, Liam and Ari ducked into cover as Gabe tried to shoot them. The hunter shot toward them repeatedly, only managing to hit Gabe in the chest over and over. The hunter tried to shoot Theo when he had been distracted with taking out another hunter.

Adriana ran toward the hunter from behind, punching him in the back, kicking him in the knee, making him fall to his knees, hitting him head forcefully against the wall, making him fall unconscious.

Macey, Melissa, Nolan, Theo and Isaac stepped out of cover from behind walls, along with Ari, Natalie and Liam, to join Adriana. They all looked at Gabe in shock as he fell to the floor.

Beacon Hills High School - Library

The Valkyrie inside Angel allowed her to keep her eyes closed without difficulty. She was in full Valkyrie form, with her wings, talons and canines out, and starting to blaze with fire.

Chayton was blind, using his other senses like hearing, touch, and his ability to sense heat, to survey the area around him. He was in full falcon/wolf form, with has wings, talons and canines out.

The Anuk-ite appeared as a Berserker, attempting to take Angel out with its boney armor. Angel sensed it coming, flying above the hallucination to make it miss, spinning through the air to kick the Anuk-ite in the face, making him fall, screech roaring a burst of fire toward the Anuk-ite, burning a lot of things around them, but the Anuk-ite seemed unharmed by the fire.

The Anuk-ite appeared as a Dread Doctor to try to punch Chayton. Chayton caught its arm, using his screech roar to send it back into a table.

"You can't beat me," Angel told him. "You can't beat us."

"I'm not afraid of you," Chayton told him. "Not anymore."

Hallway

Hunters were gathered around the statues of Scott, Tara, Derek, Malia and Peter, radioing Monroe.

"One in the head, and one in the heart," Monroe told them.

All of the hunters aimed their guns ready for the kill.

Kate was still writhing in pain on the ground.

Gerard was still aiming his gun at Chris.

Chris walked closer. "Ari figured it out, like she always does."

Gerard frowned. "The Anuk-ite?"

Angel and Chayton were still facing the Anuk-ite, with Angel's eyes closed, and Chayton blinded.

"You only wanted enough power so that you can never be trapped again," Chayton told him. "You wanted the power of a shapeshifter like us."

"But that comes with all of the rules of being a shapeshifter," Angel told him. "We have weaknesses, and we have lines we can't cross."

Kate was still writhing in pain on the ground. Gerard was still aiming his gun at Chris. Chris walked closer.

Gerard realized what Ari already had. "Mountain Ash."

Angel and Chayton were still facing the Anuk-ite, with Angel's eyes closed, and Chayton blinded.

Stiles and Stacie ran into the library.

Stacie had her gun and crossbow ready, firing at the Anuk-ite repeatedly to distract him long enough for Stiles to throw a jar of Mountain Ash on the floor. The powder spread out from the impact point, enveloping the Anuk-ite in a cloud. Once the creature was coated with the Mountain Ash, he started to turn to stone.

Hallway

The stone covering Scott and Tara began to crack, allowing them to break free. They realized that they were about to be shot by hunters. Scott pushed the gun out of the first hunters' hand, making him drop it. Tara punched the other hunter in the face, shoving his gun to the side, elbowing him in the face, making him fall unconscious. Scott headbutted the first hunter in the face, knocking him out. They looked at each other, breathing heavily.

The stone covering Derek began to crack, allowing him to break free. Monroe started to run away. Derek saw that he was about to get shot, punching the hunter in the face, lifting him up by his chest, slamming him onto the floor, punching him in the head, knocking him out.

The stone covering Peter began to crack, allowing him to break free. He noticed he was about to get shot, catching the hunter's arm, aiming the gun at the ceiling to make the bullets miss, gripping his throat, bashing his head against the wall, growling.

The stone covering Malia began to crack, allowing her to break free.

Boys' Locker Room

Jackson and Ethan were free, helping each other stand.

"Jackson?" Ethan asked worriedly.

"Is it over?" Jackson asked.

A hunter ran into the room to try to shoot Jackson and Ethan.

Coach appeared screaming from the lockers, beating the hunter senseless with a lacrosse stick until he was unconscious, looking at Jackson and Ethan. "Now it's over."

Coach turned around, heading for his office.

Jackson smirked. "Good to see you, Coach."

"You, too, Jackson," Coach told him.

Jackson and Ethan exchanged an amused look.

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Hallway

Macey was embracing Ari and Adriana in relief now that they were all okay after the battle.

Gabe, bleeding out, crawled across the hospital floor toward a bank of lighted storage containers. He managed to sit up, facing Melissa, Liam, Natalie, Isaac, Ari, Macey, Adriana, Theo and Nolan, crying, coughing up blood. "It hurts." He sobbed. "It hurts. It hurts, it hurts."

Theo slowly walked toward Gabe, actually looking pained by the pain that Gabe was in, kneeling in front of him, grabbing his arm.

Mason and Cory walked toward the group to see this.

Theo started to take Gabe's pain, making black veins trail from Gabe's arm to his, shocking all of them, except for Adriana, who only looked a little surprised. Gabe slowly started to calm down.

"Does it hurt anymore?" Theo asked.

Gabe weakly shook his head. "No."

"Good," Theo told him.

Gabe slowly started to drift off, dying. Theo let go of his arm.

Melissa, Liam, Natalie, Isaac, Ari, Macey, Nolan, Mason and Cory were in shock from the act of kindness from Theo to who used to be an enemy.

Adriana slowly approached Theo, not shocked, very little surprised, placing a hand on his shoulder. Theo looked up at Adriana. They both managed a small smile.

Macey, Ari and Natalie exchanged a look. They hadn't liked Theo before obviously, but were understanding of Adriana's relationship with him. They were all at least a little moved by the fact that Adriana was also making Theo a better person while he was her anchor for control, and even if they didn't like Theo completely, they were glad that Adriana could start to be happy again.

Armory - Basement

Kate was still writhing on the floor.

Gerard was no longer aiming his gun at Chris, furious. "You let this happen."

Kate chuckled weakly. "You let this happen, you stupid old man. All you saw was them. Scott, Ari, Tara, Derek."

"They destroyed our family," Gerard told them.

"Your 'family' is right in front of you," Chris told him, glaring at Gerard, shaking his head, turning around, walking out of the room.

Kate transformed into her Werejaguar, attacking Gerard ferociously.

Chris walked down the hallway of the armory, listening to the screams of Gerard as Kate attacked and most likely killed their father.

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Hallway

A group of hunters were trying to leave the hospital, stopping when they saw Noah, Raphael, Amelia, Isaiah and Jordan down the hallway, trying to shoot them. Isaiah used his screech  to deflect the bullets. Noah and Raphael aimed their guns.

"Drop your weapons!" Noah told them.

"Amelia, Jordan, drop their weapons," Isaiah told them.

"All right, Isaiah," Amelia told him.

Amelia and Jordan shifted partially to Hellhound form, without burning everything around them. A wave of heat rose off of them, enveloping the hunters, the metal of their guns heating up until they could no longer hold them, and they were forced to drop them to the floor.

Raphael looked at Amelia and Jordan. "I'm gonna need you to teach me how to do that."

They heard Monroe's voice on radio. "This is Monroe. Someone report with a status, now."

Beacon Hills High School - Hallway

Monroe was walking frantically down the hallway, past unconscious hunters, speaking over radio. "Someone respond. Someone talk to me." From the hospital, Natalie knelt next to an unconscious hunter to pick up a radio. "What's happening?" Liam walked up from behind Natalie. Ari, Isaac, Adriana and Theo walked closer to see what Natalie was going to say. "Someone pick up the radio and tell me what's happening."

"You lost," Natalie answered, dropping the radio in her hand to the floor nonchalantly, standing, turning to face Liam, Ari, Isaac, Adriana and Theo, who all smirked.

Monroe recognized Natalie's voice, angrily throwing the radio down the hallway.

Library

Chayton was laying weakly on the library steps, still bleeding and blinded. Angel was kneeling next to him worriedly.

Lydia, Stiles, Stacie, Derek, Malia, Tara and Scott stood behind Angel.

Angel was trying to get Chayton to heal, worried that it could be more than just blindness. "Chayton?"

"Why isn't he healing?" Malia asked. "Chayton, what happened to your eyes?"

Chayton was in incredible pain, shaking his head. "I had to. Angel, I'm sorry."

"Chayton, you have to heal," Scott told him.

"If your eyes stay like this much longer, the damage is gonna be permanent," Tara told him.

"But Chayton's a Chimera," Angel told them worriedly. "Can he even heal from something like this?"

None of them knew the answer to that, all of them worried.

"Come on, Chayton, concentrate," Stiles told him.

"I'm trying," Chayton told them. "It's not working. I can't focus."

Angel placed a hand on either of Chayton's cheeks to turn his head to her. "Hey. Hey, listen to me. Yes, you can. Just concentrate."

Chayton shook his head. "I can't. I can't do it."

"Yes, you can," Derek told him. "Chayton, focus. Heal."

"Come on, Chayton," Stacie told him worriedly.

Stiles and Lydia held each other.

Stacie turned to Derek in shock. Derek held his arm around her.

Scott and Tara looked at each other in shock, holding hands.

Lydia looked at Stiles, getting an idea. "Angel..." Angel looked back at them. Lydia looked at Angel, nodding to Chayton. "Kiss him."

"What?" Angel asked.

"Kiss him," Lydia repeated. "Valkyrie blood heals, right, it brings back the dead. You also heal with your touch. Didn't you once do that for your uncle after he was attacked by Belasko?"

"One time, forever ago," Angel answered. "I forgot all about that."

"Kiss him," Stacie told her.

Angel nodded, looking at Chayton, letting her eyes glow a deep, fiery gold, leaning closer to kiss him slowly and sweetly. They pulled away. Light green lit up the vacant sockets as Chayton's eyes grew back. They were glowing green.

Everyone sighed in relief as they all looked at each other.

Angel and Chayton looked at each other in relief, letting the glow fade from their eyes, managing small smiles, kissing passionately.

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Outside

Natalie and Liam walked out of the hospital together, toward Natalie's car, turning to face each other.

"That is hopefully the last time I'm ever trapped in that hospital," Natalie told him.

"You get trapped in hospitals a lot," Liam pointed out.

Natalie nodded. "Yeah."

"I told you we weren't gonna die tonight," Liam told her. "Told you that you weren't gonna lose me, and I wasn't gonna lose you."

Natalie smiled. "You were also right about the Anuk-ite enhancing my fear of losing someone else I love."

Liam stepped closer. "Are you still scared?"

Natalie shook her head, more relieved than she had been about anything in a long time, at peace and ease. "No. I'm okay. And it's because of you."

Natalie and Liam smiled, kissing slowly, sweetly and passionately.

Elsewhere, Ari and Isaac were walking toward Ari's bike, seeing that Natalie and Liam were happy, smiling. They got onto Ari's bike, looking at each other, smiling again, kissing slowly, deeply and passionately, very much like the time that they had first kissed in 3.04 Unleashed.

Adriana and Theo were making their way to Adriana's car.

Adriana stopped walking. "Theo? What you did... for Gabe in there." Theo turned to face her, looking at her curiously. "Taking his pain away so he didn't have to die in agony... that was the boy from the cell next door." Theo chuckled. "The one that we both knew I was hoping was still inside you somewhere. The one I knew was still there."

Theo slowly nodded. "Yeah. I thought he was gone for good. Just like you thought that the little girl from the cell next door was gone, Adri. She's not, you know."

Adriana chuckled lightly. "I guess we're both still them... way deep down."

Theo nodded in agreement. "Way, way deep down. But they're still there, Adri."

Adriana and Theo looked at each other for a moment, smiling, leaning closer to kiss slowly but passionately. They pulled away, chuckling, turning to get into the car.

With Natalie and Liam in Natalie's car, Adriana and Theo in Adriana's car, and Ari and Isaac on Ari's bike, they all drove away.

Jordan, Raphael, Amelia, Isaiah and Noah were getting rid of all the weapons.

Angel and Chayton walked in. Jordan, Amelia and Isaiah looked at them in relief.

Angel walked closer to embrace Jordan after both their close calls with death. "JP."

Jordan smiled, returning the embrace. They pulled away so that Amelia and Isaiah could embrace Angel. They smiled, pulling away. Amelia looked at Chayton, obviously knowing about what happened with his eyes, walking closer to give Chayton a hug as well. Chayton smiled.

Ari: (voice over) "Gerard put guns in people's hands, but a lot less than what he thought were actually willing to use them."

Students were walking through the hallways, smiling happily.

Ari: (voice over) "More people know our secret now. But more of them are on our side."

Nolan and Liam were in their lacrosse gear, talking to Coach.

"Co-captains?" Coach asked. "You want to be co-captains now?"

Nolan smiled. "We've, uh, gotten past our differences."

"That doesn't sound very competitive," Coach told them. "Who taught you that crap?"

"You did," Liam answered. "Because you're a great Coach."

Liam patted Coach on the shoulder, walking away. Nolan followed.

Coach watched them go, smiling. "You're right. I am a great coach."

Coach chuckled. Natalie was watching them from the hallway in her soccer uniform, smiling. Liam joined Natalie in the hallway. They looked at each other happily, walking away together.

Ari: (voice over) "They weren't afraid of us anymore."

Flashforward

Day - Woods

Adriana was fully able to control her monster form now, with Theo's help as he was watching her shift back and forth almost effortlessly. Adriana smiled excitedly when she learned she could do so now with little difficulty, without being exhausted from controlling it, laughing happily.

Theo smiled at her reaction, happy to see her happy again, extremely proud of her for what she was able to do now.

"What?" Adriana asked. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Just not used to seeing you happy, Adri," Theo answered.

Adriana smiled. "Well, I am happy." Theo smiled. "Now that I have this... mostly... under control. And I know that you're happy because of it. And it's all thanks to you. Thank you, Theo."

They smiled at each other at how far they had both come, laughing, embracing, kissing passionately.

Ari: (voice over) "Now we have protectors."

Chris and Macey were in the kitchen. Macey took his hands to pull him closer. Chris brought her hands to his lips to kiss, placing a hand on either of her cheeks. They smiled at each other, kissing slowly and passionately.

Stacie and Derek were standing together, smiling, embracing. They pulled away, looking at each other for a moment, kissing slowly, sweetly and passionately.

Night - Parking Lot

Scott, Tara, Ari, Isaac and Alec arrived at an inner-city parking lot.

Scott and Tara were holding hands, while Ari and Isaac held an arm around each other.

"Okay, Alec, the people who are hunting you, they've got a leader," Tara explained. "Her name's Monroe. And she's got a lot of followers."

"Like what, hundreds?" Alec asked.

"Thousands, all over the world," Isaac answered.

"So what are we doing here?" Alec asked.

"We're meeting up with some people that can help us," Tara answered. "Some of them are always with us, and others come when we need them. But tonight, we need everyone we can get."

Stiles' Jeep pulled up, along with Derek's Camaro he had taken from Brazil, Chayton's sports car, Adriana's car, and Natalie's car. Stiles and Lydia got out of Stiles' Jeep. Stacie and Derek got out of Derek's Camaro. Angel and Chayton got out of Chayton's car. Adriana and Theo got out of Adriana's car. Natalie, Liam and Malia got out of Natalie's car. They nodded to each other with smiles or smirks.

"Are they all... different?" Alec asked.

"Some of them are," Ari answered. She nodded to Angel, Chayton and Adriana. "Some can do things you'd never believe." Angel and Chayton looked at each other, smiling. Adriana and Theo exchanged a look, smirking. Ari looked at Stiles and Stacie. "And others might only be human." She looked at Stiles. "But they make up for it by being really smart." Stiles smiled. Ari looked at Stacie. "Or really good in a fight."

Stacie looked at Derek because he was the one who taught her how to fight, winking, smiling. Derek smiled.

"Who are they?" Alec asked.

"Our friends," Scott answered. "Our pack. And you can be with us if you want to. But you're gonna have to fight."

"Against Monroe?" Alec asked.

"And everyone that followers her," Tara answered.

"She said she'd find me," Alec told them. "That she would hunt me down and kill me. She didn't care how old I was. She said I was a monster."

Scott used his line that he had once said to Natalie and Liam in 4.04 The Benefactor. "You're not a monster. You're a Werewolf." He let his eyes glow red. "Like me."

Scott let his eyes return normal, looking toward Natalie and Liam. Natalie and Liam recognized the line, smiling, looking at each other.

Malia, Derek, Stacie, Stiles, Lydia, Ari, Isaac, Tara, Scott, Natalie, Liam, Adriana, Theo, Angel and Chayton all walked away together. Alec followed them, standing at the end next to Malia. They all walked together under the light of a full moon.
