chapter 17 - Werewolves of London

PS: Due to many requests from certain followers, I am bringing back a fan favorite character for this version of the story, even though the actor for the show couldn't make it back to the show due to scheduling problems, because of his close connection to two characters in the book. Hope you enjoy :)
From 6.16 "Triggers", in the zoo, Adriana had lost control on Nolan, nearly killing him. Theo kissed her slowly and passionately to bring her back from the darkness and her hallucination, giving her back control.
Malia: (voice over) "Previously on Worlds Colliding (Teen Wolf)"
From 6.14 "Face to Faceless", in the principal's office, Stacie and Monroe were talking. Monroe tried to leave.
Stacie stood to block her way. "No one else has to die. On either side. If I can see their side and yours, why can't you?"
From 6.16 "Triggers", in the Armory's basement, Scott and Tara were locked away, out of oxygen, when Tara had been able to evolve into the white wolf.
Tara: (voice over from 6.16 Triggers) "I didn't just get that ability to turn into a wolf."
From 6.16 "Triggers", in Tara's room, Scott and Tara were talking.
"I'm evolved now," Tara told him. "I'm stronger. I'm faster."
From 6.16 "Triggers", in the zoo, Monroe and Gerard were talking.
"Make Adriana lose control," Gerard told her.
"So, if we break Adriana, then she'll break them," Monroe realized.
Gerard smirked, nodding. "If killing Natalie Lahey doesn't make Adriana Martin lose control, then we'll try something a little closer to home. How do you think she'll react if she loses someone from her family? Lydia, Arielle, Macey Martin?"
From 6.16 "Triggers", in the hallucination in the cells, Adriana was losing control and turning into her monster form.
Adriana: (voice over from 6.16 Triggers) "Deucalion used to say that I could have turned into a monster wolf like he did, but he let me believe that he was lying."
From 6.16 "Triggers", in Adriana's room, Adriana and Theo were talking.
"You need him," Theo told her. "He might know how to control the monster form because he has one of his own. If I'm the guy that's behind the reason why you went dark the first time, then maybe I can help you control it the second time."
"All I know is that fighting for too long has made me lose my mind," Adriana told him.
"I will help you fight the darkness," Theo told her. "If you're talking about the other thing that you're fighting, about me..."
Adriana and Theo started to kiss, making out.
Theo: (voice over from 6.16 Triggers) "If that's what you want to stop fighting... I'm good with that."
From 6.16 "Triggers", in the loft, the pack, Theo, Chris, Macey, Melissa, Amelia and Isaiah were all gathered around the loft to talk about the map.
"They're Nemetons," Chris told them.
Natalie nodded in agreement. "If you wanted to kill every supernatural creature in the world, these are where you would start."
Amelia knew what was coming before they did, looking toward the wall of windows. "Get down!"
The loft was attacked in a sea of bullets, making everyone duck. The gunfire stopped. Everyone looked around as a widening pool of blood was spreading across the floor, signaling that someone, or more than one someone, was badly injured in the gunfire.

London, England
Same Night - Day One
Apartment - Living Room
(Song:) String Quartet No. 62 in C major ("Emperor"), op. 76/3, H.3/77 - Franz Joseph Haydn
Ethan was pacing in his flat, overlooking the Thames River, attempting to call someone repeatedly, but getting an automated voicemail message. "Me again. You promised you wouldn't be late. You know how long I've been trying to get tickets to the show? Exactly as long as we've been together. Because I'm that guy. So, please, don't be the guy who shows up late to your anniversary, okay? Just get here before the car arrives." He was becoming increasingly impatient and frustrated with each voicemail he left. "Me again. The car's here, but you're not. You know what happens if we're late? They close the doors. Please, get here. They closed the doors. We're 10 minutes late, and they close the doors after 10 minutes. Which means we're not gonna see the show. It also means, you forgot our anniversary. Which also means, I'm gonna kill you."
Jackson Whittemore was thrown through the door of the flat, apparently unconscious, tied up, and lightly scraped up and bleeding.
A woman and man dressed in black followed. The woman shot Ethan in the chest with a dart of wolfsbane, causing him to gasp in pain and exhale a purple cloud of wolfsbane from his lungs and collapse to the floor.
The female hunter walked over to Ethan, kneeing him in the face, making him bleed from the corner of the mouth, grabbing his hair to pull his head up. "Hmm, now he's just as cute as the other one."
The female hunter slammed Ethan's head on the piano, making him fall.
"You know we're supposed to ask them questions before we kill them," the male hunter told her.
"Is that from him or from you?" the female hunter asked.
"You know who it's from," the male hunter told her.
The female hunter sighed, kneeling in front of Ethan. "So, we hear you and your boyfriend have been tracking other Werewolves. We'd like to know their names."
The male hunter took out rope, tossing it to the female hunter. "Tie him up."
Ethan saw that Jackson was waking up and flicking out his claws, chuckling in amusement. "Should've used the yellow wolfsbane."
"What?" the male hunter asked.
Ethan nodded to Jackson. "Regular wolfsbane won't work on him, because he's not just part Werewolf, he's part Kanima."
Jackson broke the rope tying his hands, standing, grabbing a silver ice bucket, slamming it against the male hunter's head, making him fall unconscious. "And both parts are pissed."
Ethan smiled.
The female hunter drew her gun, trying to shoot Jackson with another wolfsbane dart, but Jackson caught the dart before it hit his chest, letting his eyes glow blue, walking toward the female hunter. They exchanged a few punches and blows. The female hunter kicked him back through a window, nearly making Jackson fall outside, but he caught the window frame, kicking the female hunter back away from him and making her flip over a desk, pulling himself back inside. The female hunter rolled off the desk into a standing position, facing Jackson. Jackson jumped over the desk to get to her. The female hunter tried to punch him. Jackson ducked, pushing her over the furniture to the floor, climbing over the chair to continue the fight. The female hunter picked up a bowl.
"No, no," Ethan told her. "That--that's an antique." The female hunter used the antique bowl to slam over Jackson's head, shattering it. Jackson grabbed her by the head, slamming it against the wall, throwing her into a table, knocking over a lamp in the process. "Not the lamp." Ethan was wincing with everything they broke. Jackson jumped over the couch to get to the female hunter, punching her in the face. The female hunter locked her legs around his arm in a leg lock, trying to choke him out with her legs around his neck. Jackson lifted the woman up. "Watch out for the..." Jackson slammed the female hunter against framed pictures of Jackson and Ethan, knocking the woman out. "Pictures." Jackson walked over to Ethan, kneeling next to him. Ethan gave him a look. "I just got those framed."
Jackson returned the look with a look of his own. "I can't believe you actually thought I forgot our anniversary."
Jackson flicked the dart wound in Ethan's chest for payback.
Ethan scoffed playfully. "Ow."
Jackson smirked, leaning closer to kiss Ethan slowly.

Beacon Hills, California
Day Two
Morning - Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Waiting Room
Scott, Natalie, Ari and Adriana were sitting in the waiting room of the hospital, listening to the doctors as they performed surgery on Melissa, Macey and Lydia. They had their hearing honed to the point where they could hear every word, the beeping monitors, and their heartbeats.
Tara walked toward Scott, while Liam walked toward Natalie, sitting next to them. Theo and Stacie were nearby as well.
They heard Amelia's voice as she worked over Melissa. "I think she's coagulopathic. I need another suture. The bullet missed the ascending aorta. Brachiocephalic is intact. Hemodynamics are stable." Tara worriedly placed her hand over Scott's clenched hands, trying to comfort him, while Liam took Natalie by the hand to try and comfort her, but they all knew that they weren't going to be okay until they knew for sure that everyone else was. Natalie looked at Liam nervously, afraid of losing someone else that she cared about. Liam nodded reassuringly. "She's gonna be okay."
Scott relaxed, unclenching his hands to take both of Tara's in his. They looked at each other in relief, sighing gratefully.

Melissa's Hospital Room
Scott and Natalie went to talk to Melissa while she was in her hospital bed, watching as a doctor was giving her anesthetic.
"You have about a minute before the sedative kicks in," the doctor told them. "And let her rest."
The doctor walked out, leaving Scott and Natalie to talk to Melissa.
"Hey, kids," Melissa told them.
Natalie looked between Scott and Melissa worriedly, wanting to give them a minute alone to talk. "I'm gonna wait outside, okay?"
"No, wait, Natalie," Melissa told her. Natalie stopped at the door, looking at Melissa. "Wait. Listen to me, Natalie. Both of you. You didn't do this."
"But I'm responsible," Scott told her. "You need to sleep."
Melissa was weakly trying to stay awake so she could tell them this. "I just need to... tell you..."
"It can wait," Natalie told her.
"It can't wait, Natalie," Melissa disagreed.
Scott sighed worriedly. "Mom..."
"Don't run," Melissa told them. "You fight."
Melissa slowly fell asleep, leaving Scott and Natalie to worry about her condition, both of them nearly crying. Scott leaned closer to kiss Melissa on the head.

Macey/Lydia's Joined Hospital Room
Chris, Ari and Adriana were standing with Lydia and Macey, where they were in a joined hospital room so that the niece and aunt could recover together and keep an eye on each other. Chris, Ari and Adriana were emotional, and Adri was trying very hard to keep calm. Chris was holding Macey by the hand to make sure she was okay, calming her down.
"It's going to be okay," Lydia told them.
"No, it's not," Ari told them. "None of this is okay."
"I'm not letting them get away with this," Adriana told them. "Both of you, Raphael, Melissa... I swear to God, I--"
"Adriana," Macey told her weakly. "Adri... Ari..." Ari put an arm around Adriana to calm her down, both of the twins nearly crying from anger and sadness. "Raphael was transferred to San Francisco Memorial. We're all going to be fine. Bullets missed everything that matters. Ari, Adriana... we got lucky."
Ari shook her head. "All of you almost died."
"But we're gonna live, Ari," Lydia told her.
"They're going to be okay, girls," Chris told them.
"How do you know that?" Ari asked.
"Because I will stay here with them to make sure that they will stay okay," Chris answered.
Ari and Adriana were only slightly reassured by that, while Macey and Lydia were touched.
They stopped talking when they heard someone walk in, turning to see Theo standing in the doorway.
Theo looked a little nervous to see the four Martins with Chris like this. "Sorry. Sheriff just wanted me to tell you that he's going to have two deputies posted here around the clock. Nobody sets foot on this floor without his authorization."
Ari sighed worriedly. "I need to call Isaac." They looked at her. "Gerard tried to have Natalie killed twice. And he needs to know what's happening to Natalie... and me. I need to call him."
Chris, Macey and Lydia nodded in understanding. Ari looked between them nervously, walking out of the room to call Isaac.
Adriana looked between them, following Ari out of the room, but she headed a different direction.
Theo turned to leave.
"Theo," Lydia told him. Theo stopped in surprise. "Don't ask me why I'm asking you of this, because I don't trust you on anything, except if it comes to helping Adriana, or keeping Adri safe. I know that she's the only one that you care about out of all of us. That you hurt the rest of us in an attempt to keep her safe. And we know that you're the only reason she didn't kill someone."
Macey took a deep breath. "Adri's not going to let this go. She's going to lose control. And she could kill someone because of what happened last night. You can't let that happen. You can't let her lose herself. Whatever I think of you, Theo... I know that you love my daughter."
Theo looked surprised by the conversation.
"And we know you don't want to lose her, either," Chris told him. "Whatever happens... just promise me that you won't let anything happen to her. Don't let her lose herself."
Theo slowly nodded. "I promise."
Lydia and Macey nodded, reassured, but still weak and fading out of consciousness as the sedative kicked in and put them to sleep. Chris stayed by Macey's side while she was in the hospital, holding her hand to make sure that she would be fine, leaning closer to kiss her on the lips, and then the forehead.
Theo was even worried about them because he knew what would happen if they died, knowing that Adriana would go completely ballistic, walking out of the room to find her.

Hallway
(Song:) Immortalized - Hidden Citizens
Ari was standing in the hallway, on her phone, looking emotional and nearly a mess, trying to keep herself calm and collected. "Gerard's tried to have Natalie killed twice to make Adriana lose control. And he just had us all under attack at the loft... where Melissa, Raphael, Lydia and my mom all got hurt. They were shot, and they're in the hospital. It's bad, Isaac."
Isaac was in a hotel room, pacing worriedly. "Ari, you need me to come home. I only left because this huge school thing that you and Natalie pushed me to go to."
"Because it was a huge opportunity that Natalie and I didn't want you to miss out on," Ari told him. She was fighting back tears, shaking her head brokenly, sighing shakily. "Isaac... I don't know what to do. Adri was barely hanging onto control as it was, and now with our cousin and mother in the hospital... near the anniversary of when our dad died two years ago, before he ever got to see Adri again..."
"It's making everything worse," Isaac finished. "Not just for Adriana, but for you, and Natalie, and everyone else. It's okay. I'm coming home, Ari, to you and Nattie. I'll be on the first plane out." Ari managed a small smile, tears in her eyes, looking down. Isaac was incredibly worried and concerned, sympathetic. "Ari... it's gonna be okay."
Ari sighed, shaking her head. "I don't know what is or what not is anymore. All I know is that it'll be better when you're here."
Isaac nodded understandingly. "I'll be there soon. Ari, I love you."
Ari sniffled, nodding. "I love you, too. I'll see you soon."
They hung up. Ari was more relieved and reassured, taking a shaky deep breath that made it easier for her to push the tears back, closing her eyes, sighing deeply.

Another Hallway
Adriana was walking angrily down the hallway, trying to open a door.
Theo caught up to Adriana, grabbing her arm to stop her from leaving. "You can't leave like this, Adriana."
"The hell I can't," Adriana told him.
"Tell me this," Theo told her. "Tell me that you don't feel a murderous rage that is begging you to kill someone to release that darkness, and I'll let you go." Adriana didn't answer, sighing shakily, because he was right, and knew that she could very well have killed someone if she left. "Adri, I got a pretty good idea how you're feeling right now, and right now is not the time for you to go off by yourself trying to seek revenge."
"Theo, my mother and my cousin are in a hospital room together because they can't be alone, or they're in danger of dying all over again," Adriana told him. "The same hospital room that my dad was in when he died two years ago of cancer, before I had even been able to reunite with him, before I got free from the Alpha Pack. How the hell would you react to what I'm feeling right now? Are you going to use the promise that you just made Lydia and my mom as an excuse to try to control me?"
"I'm not letting you lose yourself over this," Theo told her.
"What are you gonna do, push me into another elevator to make sure that I don't leave?" Adriana asked, trying to walk past Theo.
Theo put his hand against the wall in front of Adriana to block her path, making her stop, as usual trying to take her mind off the darkness so that it wouldn't control her, tracing the double infinity sign tattoo on her wrist to bring her back to herself. "Don't give me any ideas. Although, I can find better uses for elevators."
Adriana barely managed a chuckle, but was too hysterical and upset to do much else, starting to calm down a little, looking more devastated and shaken than angry and full of rage, starting to shake, trying to fight back tears, trying her hardest not to lash out, her claws grown and her eyes glowing purple on their own accord. She was trying to make the glow fade and the claws retreat by digging them into her palms so she didn't lash out at anything, drawing blood, trying not to cry. Theo was worried and concerned, taking her hand to hide the claws to help her calm down, holding her so that she would stop shaking and calm down before she lost control. They looked at each other, sighing in relief as she started to calm down and stop shaking.
(Song Ends)
Theo led Adriana down the hallway toward the rest of the pack. They all looked at Theo and Adriana worriedly, silently asking if Adri was in control, to which they nodded in answer.
"Hey," Chayton told them worriedly. "What do we do?"
"No more peace summits," Scott told them. "No more running. No more half measures."
"Tara, what's the plan?" Malia asked.
"We fight back," Tara answered.
"I'm good with that plan," Angel told them.
"Natalie, what about Gerard?" Liam asked. "Monroe? The hunters?"
"We take them all on," Natalie answered.
"Then we're gonna need more firepower," Stacie told them.
Ari nodded in agreement. "Not just firepower, Stacie. We're gonna need an army."

Sheriff's Station - Office
Stacie and Noah were in the Sheriff's office, talking to Monroe.
Stacie was placing down each of the bullets that had been fired into Lydia, Macey, Melissa and Raphael on the desk.
"You don't really think I shot up Tara Hale's loft, do you, Stacie?" Monroe asked. Deputy DeWitte placed a coffee mug on the desk for Monroe. "Thank you." DeWitte left the room. Monroe looked at Stacie and Noah. "I think I want a lawyer. Although, I have no idea why I need one, since I didn't shoot up Tara Hale's loft."
"You don't need a lawyer," Noah told her, placing out a file with a picture of Monroe. "You got an alibi. That's security camera footage from the school on the night of the attack."
"Then why am I here?" Monroe asked. "What do you want, Stacie?"
"We got four people in the hospital with gunshot wounds," Stacie told her. "One teenager like me. Three of them are ordinarily human like you and us, which means that you and your people are willing to kill even innocents just to get what you want, and what you want is to make Adriana Martin lose any and all control to turn her against all of us, not caring who dies in the process. Innocents, supernaturals, you. It's not what we want."
"It's who," Noah finished.
Monroe smirked smugly. Stacie glared at her.

The Loft - Living Room
Adriana, Theo, Natalie, Liam, Angel and Chayton were gathered in the loft.
Deucalion had come, surveying the damage of the shootout, with broken glass and bullets everywhere. He looked at Theo. "Why am I not surprised that you were brought back?"
Deucalion looked at Adriana knowingly.
Adriana shook her head innocently. "I'm not the one that brought Theo back, though I should have." Theo smiled a little. Adriana pointed at Natalie, Liam, Angel and Chayton. "Natalie, Liam, Angel and Chayton are the ones that brought Theo back, so don't look at me like that."
Deucalion chuckled. "Adriana, you know my fighting days are over."
"That's hard to believe," Theo told him. "Aren't you the guy that once said you'd kill any living thing that got in your way? Take their pain, life and power, in that order and only that order? Didn't you even threaten to kill Adri for betraying your pack, using her life against Ari to make Ari work with you to try to kill a Darach?"
"I said a lot of things," Deucalion told them. "But, eventually, the bodies pile up so high, that even a blind man can't ignore them."
"So, what?" Chayton asked. "You moved into a cave and took a vow of uselessness?"
"I changed," Deucalion answered. "We should all try it." He looked at Chayton. "And, Chayton, I live in a condo."
"I liked the old Deucalion better," Adriana told him.
"Is that the darkness inside you talking?" Deucalion asked knowingly.
Adriana hesitated, sighing. "Maybe."
Theo chuckled a little.
Deucalion nodded, looking away.
"Well, maybe you've changed, but Gerard hasn't," Natalie told him. "And he's not gonna stop with Beacon Hills. He's got a map with places circled. Toulouse, Brasilia..."
"Logashkino, Zhengzhou," Deucalion finished. "Nemetons of the world."
"You know him," Angel told him. "You can outthink him, you can read him."
"You've beaten him before," Deucalion told them.
"He's got a lot of help now," Liam told him. "Actually, he's got pretty much everyone."
"You think Gerard's turned you into pariahs?" Deucalion asked. "Your power does that. You'll always be outsiders because of your abilities. Gerard wasn't the first person to capitalize on the general public's fear of the other, and he won't be the last."
"So help us stop him," Chayton told him.
"Chayton, I think you've realized that stopping Gerard now means killing him," Deucalion told him.
"I think I speak for both Adriana and me that we're both okay with that," Theo told him. "Right, Adri? As long as you're not the one that kills him."
Adriana chuckled sarcastically.
"Deucalion, can you help Adriana or not?" Natalie asked.
"I'm sorry, Natalie," Deucalion told her. "That chapter in my life's over."
"So that's it?" Angel asked. "You're just a pacifist now? What about everyone else? They're just gonna get their eyes stabbed out?"
Deucalion sighed in regret. "Angel, look what that war turned me into. I'm not afraid to lose my eyes again, Angel. I'm afraid to lose my soul."
"You know who else is afraid of losing her soul?" Liam asked. "Adriana. We didn't call you here to help us fight. We called you here because Adriana's losing control."
"Of more than just instincts," Adriana told him, holding out her hand, showing Deucalion that she was starting to shift with her skin blackening like fur as her hand started to take on the monster form. Deucalion was surprised that she had come this far but not shocked that it was happening. "You once told me that this could happen, but you let me believe that you were lying to me so that I wouldn't leave the pack. You knew more about me than I did. I'm guessing it's 'cause of the Dread Doctors. They knew that I would be able to turn into this one day, didn't they? That's really why they wanted to kill me, because they knew that if I evolved into the monster form of me, that I could easily stop them."
"Yes," Deucalion answered.
"You knew more about me than I did because they told you," Adriana told him. "And they knew everything about me, so I know you do, too. And I think you can help me now. I don't need you to fight, Deuc. I just need your help with this. Can you teach me how to control this or not?"
"I can," Deucalion answered. "And I can offer you guidance. And my first piece of advice? I will help you with control, but I will not fight unless I have to. You might need to lower your standards for allies."
"I thought we were," Chayton told him sarcastically.
Deucalion chuckled in amusement. "Lower than me, Chayton." He turned to his former protege. "Are you ready, Adriana?"
Adriana sighed, not knowing what to expect but knowing that she had to learn how to control this or all of it would be for nothing, nodding.

London, England
Jackson/Ethan's Apartment - Living Room
Jackson and Ethan were bickering playfully as they were tying up the hunters who attacked them.
"I didn't forget," Jackson told him.
"I didn't say you forgot," Ethan told him. "I said you forgot and you were late."
"Oh, so I guess this whole getting abducted thing doesn't earn me any sympathy?" Jackson asked.
"You can make it up to me next year," Ethan told him.
"Yeah, that is if any of us are still alive," Jackson told him.
"You found the Omegas?" Ethan asked.
Jackson nodded. "Well, I tracked them to the Epping Forest, but these two found them first."
"And?" Ethan asked.
Jackson pulled out a bag of Werewolf canines, showing them to Ethan. "They were taking souvenirs. One for each Werewolf. It's proof that they were killed." He looked at the hunters. "Who told you where to find us? Hmm? 'Cause there is no way in hell that two random amateurs would take down that many wolves without getting torn apart. Where did you get the wolfsbane? And who sent you?"
"We work alone," the female hunter told them. "And we're better than you think."
Jackson was unconvinced, nodding sarcastically. "Does the name Gerard mean anything to you?"
"We don't have to tell you anything," the male hunter told them.
Ethan was listening to the hunters' quickening heartbeats. "You already have. He talks, and I listen. So we know when you're lying."
"Yeah, we're getting pretty good at it," Jackson told them smugly. "So, Gerard armed you and sent you here. Where is he? Is he in London?"
"You know where he is," the female hunter told them.
Jackson nodded in agreement, looking at Ethan. "Beacon Hills."

Beacon Hills, California
Beacon Hills High School - Boys' Locker Room
Liam and Natalie pushed Gabe to the floor of the locker room. Angel and Chayton were standing behind them. Adriana and Theo walked in behind them.
"I don't know anything, I swear," Gabe told them fearfully. "I don't know what happened at Tara Hale's loft."
Natalie picked Gabe up from the floor. "There were innocent people in there. Humans. Melissa and Raphael McCall, who are like adoptive parents to me, and Macey Martin, my best friends' mother. Did you know they were in there?"
Gabe shook his head frantically. "No, Natalie, I didn't know anything." Natalie didn't believe him, shaking him once to intimidate him. Gabe held his hands up in a harmless gesture. "Natalie, I don't know anything. I swear, Angel."
They were listening to his racing heartbeat.
"You're lying," Angel told him.
"No, Angel, I'm not," Gabe told her. "I'm not."
Adriana walked closer to grab Gabe from Natalie, slamming his head furiously into the mirror above the sink, cracking the mirror, making the broken glass cut into his face, making him bleed. "Maybe you haven't noticed lately, but I've been having trouble controlling myself because of you hunters. When things happen to my family and friends, I just can't seem to help it."
"No, Adriana," Liam told her. "Wait, stop."
"Shut up, Liam," Adriana told him. She looked at Gabe. "My mother and my cousin were in there. They're in the hospital, they nearly died, because of you." She pushed Gabe's head against the glass more forcefully in pure anger. "So you can see now why I'm so angry."
Angel walked closer worriedly. "Adriana..."
"Angel, stay back," Chayton told her. "Gabe, you think we're going to kill you? You think we're all killers? We're not."
Adriana wouldn't let go of Gabe. "Maybe we should be."
"Angel?" Chayton asked.
Angel and Chayton prepared to get through to Adriana if they had to, exchanging a look of understanding, knowing they could do it with their screech roars, taking in deep breaths to do so.
Theo held out his hand to stop them. "Angel, Chayton, wait." Angel and Chayton stopped, looking at Theo. "Chayton, trying to force her to stop is just gonna make things worse."
"You got a better idea?" Liam asked skeptically.
"As a matter of fact, Liam, yes, I do," Theo answered, signaling to Natalie, Angel, Liam and Chayton to play along so that they could talk Adriana out of doing this without trying to force her to stop. "Adri, you're really gonna kill him? I mean, I don't care if he dies."
Natalie got the hint, playing along. "Have you thought this through? Any idea where you're gonna dump the body?"
"But no one saw us grab him, did they?" Liam asked. "'Cause that could be a problem."
"I don't care," Adriana told them.
Theo shrugged. "I don't care either. But at least let me help. But you're the one with the most experience with this kind of stuff, Adri. You're the one that said you would rather die than go back to that."
"If we kill him, you know that we'll have to find the witnesses and kill them, too," Chayton told her. "Which means we're gonna need shovels, some plastic bags, maybe a chainsaw."
Adriana sighed, faltering in her hold, Theo's plan to get the others to play along actually starting to work, but she was still angry enough to not let go of Gabe.
"Adri, remember what we said about you needing an anchor?" Theo asked. "You want to control it? Think about the other day."
"You mean at the zoo where she nearly killed Nolan, or at Tara's loft where everyone human we care about got hurt?" Chayton asked.
Liam was just as confused as Chayton was about this line of thinking from Theo. "How is that going to help her with control?"
"No, I'm talking about when I took Adriana home, and I found a better way to calm her down," Theo answered. Adriana knew what Theo was going to tell them, but was too surprised to react. "Making out, pretty hardcore brought her back from the darkness better than trying to talk through the darkness to get to her."
Angel, Chayton, Natalie and Liam looked at Adriana in shock, so she wasn't looking at them, blushing.
Natalie and Angel spoke together in surprise. "What?"
"Are you joking?" Angel asked.
"No, Angel, I'm being dead serious," Theo answered.
Adriana was embarrassed and came back mostly from the darkness almost instantly, turning her head to look at Theo. "Oh, my God, Theo. Seriously?"
"Yeah, really," Theo answered. "Had to get your attention away from the darkness somehow, and telling Natalie, Liam, Angel and Chayton, the four people that brought me back from the ground in the first place was a good way to get your attention." He looked at Natalie, Liam, Angel and Chayton. "The four of you might as well have brought me back to save her and all of you from her, so congratulations." He looked at Adriana. "And it looks like I embarrassed you. That's adorable. Now that I have your attention..."
Adriana gave him a look, incredibly sheepish about all of this, trying not to be embarrassed, turning to hide a blush. "Please shut up."
Theo smiled in amusement from her reaction, nodding for her to let go of Gabe. Adriana hesitated, as if thinking 'Do I have to?' Theo tilted his head at her. Adriana sighed, letting go of Gabe, pushing him to the floor, turning to face the others, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Theo, you're suddenly acting as Adri's anchor to help her, and you somehow used that as an excuse to get closer to her," Natalie told him. "Why does that not surprise me?"
"I'm not using anything as an excuse, Natalie, and you know it," Theo told her. "Ask Adriana. Right, Adri?"
Adriana was blushing, pressing her lips together.
"Looks like you're not ashamed of Theo telling us or the fact that it happened," Angel told her. "Just embarrassed by the way he told us."
Adriana didn't answer. "Please, shut up, Angel." She sighed, looking at Theo with a 'seriously' look. "Was that really necessary?"
Theo smirked, shrugging.
"Well, it got you to let go of Gabe, didn't it?" Chayton replied.
"You made your point, Theo," Liam told him. "And you never get tired of trying to save Adriana, do you?"
Theo chuckled. Adriana turned away, pacing, sighing anxiously.
"Adri, you didn't kill him," Natalie told her. "You let him go. That's progress."
Adriana turned to face them. "Natalie, I'm not glass. Please stop treating me like I'm gonna break. And I know that what you said about him using this as an excuse to get closer to me was just your way of trying to protect me from getting hurt, and I thank you for that, Nattie, I really do. But it's not what you think. But thank you for looking out for me." Natalie nodded. Adriana sighed, looking at Theo. "And while having control and letting someone go is a nice feeling, I am pretty sure that I told you to stop saving me, Theo."
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure I don't care," Theo replied. "It's a habit that I'm not gonna drop any time soon."
Adriana gave him a sarcastic smirk, sighing.
"You might wanna remember what our goal has been all along," Chayton told her. "Keep people alive."
"You should try harder," Gabe told them.
They looked at Gabe in confusion and suspicion.
"What are you talking about?" Liam asked.
"You don't know, do you?" Gabe asked.
"Know what?" Angel asked.
When Gabe didn't answer, Adriana walked closer angrily, but was promptly stopped by Angel and Natalie, and pulled back by Liam and Chayton, annoying and frustrating her enough to where she looked as if she would push her way through them to get to Gabe. Theo grabbed Gabe before Adriana could so that she wouldn't lose control, crushing his head back into the mirror, making the side of his face bleed against the broken glass again. Adriana smirked slightly.
Gabe had to relent. "About the other bodies."
"What other bodies?" Angel asked.
Natalie, Adriana, Angel, Liam, Chayton and Theo all exchanged a look.

Sheriff's Station - Office
Stacie and Noah were still talking to Monroe, showing Monroe the graphic details of Gerard's past by photos from old cases.
"The body in that photo was a teenager named Matt Daehler," Noah told her. "Your mentor, Gerard, killed him, because he believed it would give him control over a supernatural creature called a Kanima. And by killed, I mean he held that 16 year old boy's bleeding head under water until he drowned."
Stacie showed her another picture. "I remember this one very well. See how the victims are outfitted here? They're hunters. Specifically, Gerard's hunters. He killed them all to frame a man named Deucalion. His hope was it, uh, it would start a war between supernaturals and hunters. This sound familiar. Hmm? Oh, and by killed, I mean gassed into unconsciousness and then bludgeoned to death with a club embedded with claws. Not to mention that he was disapproving of his son's high school sweetheart named Macey Martin, and had three Werewolves kidnap her and turn her against his own son so that he couldn't find happiness in someone that he thought was too weak for the supernatural. And he turned the Kanima against me and everyone involved so that he could force Tara Hale's brother, Derek Hale, when he was an Alpha, to bite him and try to turn into a Werewolf, which didn't work because he had Mountain Ash inside his body and he was sick with cancer. Nearly killed everyone in the process. Maybe you'll be his next victim."
"You were attacked by something called the Beast," Noah told her. "Gerard withheld vital information from us so that he and he alone would be the one to kill this creature. Bring a little clout back to his name. If we had known sooner the weapon needed to kill this thing, then maybe we could have prevented all this bloodshed. All this, this pain, could have been avoided. All of you your pain. This here... what happened out there the other night, what's gonna happen if we don't somehow start understanding each other... it is avoidable."
"Understand each other?" Monroe repeated. "Do you wanna know what I understand, Stacie? Do you know what I see in your little show and tell?" She stood, pacing. "I see a Sheriff and his daughter Stacie unable to control the violence in their own county. A county you're sworn to protect. I see the same family in way over their heads. And not ready to believe the truth that's been staring them in the face for years. I was told I was the victim of a wild animal attack. A bear. I was lied to. You lied to protect them over us. You're an ineffective Sheriff and teenager, Stacie, making wrong choices. Stacie, don't try and tell me that Gerard puts his own interests first when you only choose them over us. And by ineffective? I mean ineffective."
Stacie glared at Monroe in annoyance, getting more and more tired of her meddling in their lives and terrorizing her friends.

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Hallway
Amelia was making sure that Lydia, Macey and Melissa were okay in their weakened, shot states, seeing that Chris was keeping an eye on them. She seemed to be pulled into a Hellhound premonition, looking around to see that the hallway of the hospital was frozen over, with a thin layer of snow on the floor, her breath escaping in little puffs of condensation. She walked down the ice covered hallway, finding that it was deserted, making her way down the hall, following what appeared to be a wide path in the ice leading her to the morgue.

Eichen House - Hallway
Scott, Tara, Ari and Malia were walking down the closed unit of Eichen to meet up with Peter.
"Why did he agree to meet here?" Tara asked.
"Why did he agree to meet at all?" Ari replied.
Peter was standing down the hallway. "Curiosity. Mostly."
"Okay," Scott told him. "We need your help."
"With what?" Peter asked. "Another suicide mission? Not interested." He looked at Tara and Malia. "Or do you need my help?"
Malia shook her head. "I'm here for moral support."
"For Scott, Ari and Tara or for me?" Peter asked.
"You'd need to have morals," Tara replied.
Peter tilted his head at his niece sarcastically. "Hilarious, Tara."
"You helped us fight the Ghost Riders," Ari told him.
"Self-preservation," Peter told them.
Scott sighed. "But we couldn't have won without you. You're stronger than all of us. You were the real reason the Wild Hunt--"
Peter smirked in amusement. "Stop. A solid effort. You don't need to appeal to my ego. It's quite healthy. You're gonna need to work a lot harder than that if you want my help."
Malia rolled her eyes. "What do you want?"
Peter walked closer. "Everything pretty much is the way I want it. My penthouse apartment is filled with mid-century furniture. My passport has more stamps than the post office. And did you see the car parked out front? That's a Shelby 1000 Cobra. There are only 100 in the entire world. I have two. Two."
"But Gerard has an army, and every single one of them want you dead," Tara told him.
"And you think that means I'm going to enlist in your little endeavor?" Peter asked. "Because you're going to defeat Gerard? You're not going to beat him, Tara. And let me show you why." He turned on a light of a cell nearby, showing them that there was a hunter locked in one of the cells with an unloaded automatic rifle. "When I found him, that was pointed at my face. That is a G36, which fires 750 rounds per minute. And it's empty, for the moment."
Peter passed a full clip of bullets into the cell through a slot in the door to give to the hunter so he could load the gun, causing Scott, Tara, Ari and Malia to give him an incredulous look.
"Peter, wait," Ari told him.
"What the hell are you doing?" Malia asked.
"That homicidal guinea pig is going to kill all of us unless you do what's necessary, and I don't feel like dying today," Peter told them.
The hunter started to fire the gun at the glass separating them from him.
"There's something wrong with him," Scott told them.
Peter was covering his ears. "Yes, he's shooting at us. If you can't even kill him, how do you expect to win this war?" The gun stopped firing. "Don't worry, it's just jammed. It tends to happen with automatic weapons that haven't been serviced regularly. Just slide the bolt back."
Scott and Ari looked from Peter to Tara and Malia incredulously. Tara and Malia weren't surprised by Peter in the least, sighing, shaking their heads, rolling their eyes.
The hunter slid the bolt back. "Thanks."
"We're not gonna hurt you," Ari told him in annoyance.
The hunter continued to fire at the glass.
Peter went back to covering his ears. "He can't be reasoned with, Ari. He's not only shooting at us because he's afraid. He's trying to kill us because he hates us."
The bullets continued to crack the glass but it didn't break until the hunter threw himself through it, making the glass shatter. He stood, trying to shoot.
Scott caught the gun, pointing it away. "Why are you doing this?"
"Because she wants you dead," the hunter answered.
"See?" Peter asked. "Blind obedience." Scott let out a roar of frustration, throwing the hunter against the wall, knocking him out, letting him fall to the floor. "Hmm. He never gave up. I would fight with him. I like him. That's how you win a war."
"You were never going to help us, were you?" Malia asked.
"One day, you'll learn you can't save everyone," Peter told them.
"Yeah, and you can't kill everyone, either," Ari countered.
"Peter, look, you can fight with us, or fight alone," Tara told him in annoyance. "But one way or another, you'll end up fighting."
"I'm guessing it's going to be alone," Malia told him.
Scott, Tara, Ari and Malia started to walk away.
"You made it this far without getting your hands dirty, Scott," Peter told him. "No one makes it through a war with clean hands. If you won't start killing, you better find someone who will."
They headed their separate ways.

Sheriff's Station
Stacie and Noah were leading Monroe out of the office into the bullpen where the other deputies were waiting.
"DeWitte, escort this woman out of my station," Noah told him.
"Your station?" Monroe repeated.
The deputies were crossing their arms in defiance.
"DeWitte, do you hear me?" Noah asked. "I just gave you an order." Stacie realized that the hunters had all been able to turn the entire station against them. DeWitte stood, walking toward them. All of the deputies had their hands on their guns if they had to use them against Stacie and Noah. "Deputy, think long and hard about what you do next."
Stacie reached behind her to grab her gun if she had to.
"Let's just say, you might want to reconsider, Stacie," Monroe told her. "This is my station now."
Stacie glared at her in annoyance. "You're a dumbass to trust him. Gerard only cares about himself."
"Stacie, I don't trust him," Monroe told her. "But, I know one thing. He's going to win. And that's what I care about. You said it yourself, Stacie. Nothing is more important to Gerard than this fight. Not the life of a young man, not the lives of his allies, not the lives of his own men, and not the lives of innocents. That's how strong his belief is. He won't stop. And that's why he'll beat you." She looked at DeWitte. "Deputy, please relieve the Sheriff of his badge and gun, and escort him and Stacie out of this station. If they resist, use force."
DeWitte walked toward Stacie and Noah, reaching for Stacie.
Stacie twisted DeWitte's arm behind his back, making him let go and face away from her, pushing him toward the other deputies before they could step closer to help. "Touch me or my dad, and you'll be feeling the pain of a whole hell of a lot more than just jail time."
Monroe smirked in amusement. "You're starting to sound like the darker version of Adriana, Stacie. How is your friend, anyway? Her downward spiral, especially after Lydia and Macey's visit to the hospital? And the near death experience from your friend Natalie, not once, but twice? How are your friends doing with that, Stacie?"
Stacie glared at Monroe, punching her in the face, making her spit out blood. "I've been waiting to wipe that smug smirk off your face for a while now. If you think that doing what you're doing makes you any better than a monster, you're wrong. In fact, trying to make someone lose control and kill someone by terrorizing her and everyone around her makes you worse than she is. You're more of a monster than us."
Noah placed a hand on his daughter's shoulder. "Stacie, let's go."
Stacie and Noah walked toward the door.
Stacie stopped in the doorway, looking back at Monroe. "I never said Gerard wouldn't beat me. I said he wouldn't beat Scott and Ari. And all of us working together, he's not gonna beat us."
Stacie and Noah walked out of the station.

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Morgue
While still in her Hellhound premonition in the frozen hospital, Amelia made her way into the morgue, seeing the ice had melted off one of the cadaver drawers, walking closer. The Loft - Living Room
Tara and Malia were picking up the mess left by the hunters' shooting.
Peter walked in, looking around. "I'm almost getting tired of rejecting you. Almost. I honestly have no idea where you get your obstinacy from."
"It's a Hale family thing," Malia told him. "So we partially get it from you."
"You certainly do not," Peter told them. Tara and Malia gave him a look. "What do you want?"
"We want to give you all the facts," Malia answered. "Something else is going on here. Something even you can't outrun."
"There is nothing I can't outrun," Peter told them. "Running runs in the family."
"You haven't felt it, have you?" Tara asked.
"Tara, you need to tell me what you're talking about, right now," Peter told her.
Tara scoffed. "Well, it's nothing that I can tell you. But I can show you."
Tara grabbed Peter's wrist, breaking it, making him groan in pain as she forced his claws to grow, plunging them into the back of her neck so that he could see her memories of the Anuk-ite when it confronted the pack in the tunnels (6.14 Face to Faceless) and at the Sheriff's station (6.15 Pressure Test), knowing the risk of someone doing this was dangerous if it was by choice, and even more dangerous if it was forced like it was now, but Tara knew that she wasn't going to get hurt because of being evolved now. After she was sure that Peter had seen what he needed to see, she broke the connection.
Peter seemed truly shaken. "What was that?"
"That's the Anuk-ite," Tara answered. "It creates and feeds off of fear and it's affecting the hunters. And it'll make them come for everyone, even you."
Peter scoffed. "And the incorruptible Scott and Ari still think they can keep their hands clean." He looked at Tara and Malia in realization. "That's why you wanted to meet, isn't it?"
"What are you talking about?" Malia asked.
"Tara, lying to someone who's just been in your head?" Peter asked. "I wouldn't recommend it. You know that your only chance is to surround your delicate Scott and Ari with killers. Killers like me. Like Adriana, but they can't let her kill without her turning against all of us because of the darkness inside of her would take control. She takes all of the darkness inside of Ari and has it inside herself, which is why Ari is so pure and incorruptible. Ari can't help being pure just as much as Adriana can't help being dark. But killers like both of you."
Tara scoffed. "The only person I've killed was a mercy killing, and Malia's killings were accident. We're not killers like you."
"Will you fight with us, or not?" Malia asked.
"You can't fight that thing," Peter told them, turning to leave.
"That's right," Malia told him. "Go running back to your cars and things you care about more than anything else."
Peter looked hurt by that, handing a pair of keys to Malia. "One of the cars was for you."
Peter turned to leave.
"Peter," Malia told him, tossing the keys to him. "I don't want your stupid car."
Peter caught the keys, walking out of the loft.
Tara and Malia exchanged a look, sighing.

Night - Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Outside
Scott, Stacie and Ari had come here to check up on Lydia, Macey and Melissa while they were in the hospital. Tara and Malia pulled up in Tara's Camaro, getting out of the car, walking toward Scott, Stacie and Ari.
"There's something else we can try," Malia told them. "But you're not gonna like it."
"Tara, what?" Stacie asked.
"Stacie, there's another pack of Werewolves I know about," Tara answered. "They gave up everything that makes them human. Rules, morals, electricity. They call themselves The Primal. Their pack symbol is a circle with a crescent on top. They're strong. But they're not only strong, they'll kill anything that crosses their path."
"Are they any worse than Deucalion and Peter?" Stacie asked.
Ari sighed worriedly. "I mean, at least we know Deucalion and Peter. This pack, I--I don't know anything about them."
"Does it matter if they can help us beat Gerard?" Malia asked.
"It matters if they're murderers," Scott answered.
Stacie nodded, sighing. "So we should forget about it."
"Probably," Ari told them.
"There's got to be someone else who can help us," Stacie told them.
Scott tilted his head. "Stacie, we're not that desperate."
"And going to them would be really desperate, right?" Tara asked.
They all knew that they were really that desperate, and that they didn't have much of a choice, sighing, knowing they had to go.

Beacon Hills High School - Empty Classroom
Gabe led Natalie, Liam, Adriana, Theo, Angel and Chayton to a freezer chest, revealing three bodies inside, one teacher and two students. Their eyes were gaping holes, similar to how victims of the Anuk-ite's spider hoard looked once the arachnids left their bodies.
"Does the teacher know about this?" Theo asked.
Gabe pointed to a body. "That's the teacher."
"Unless there's a gun in there, too, this isn't helping us find the shooter," Adriana pointed out.
Natalie looked at Gabe in confusion. "Why'd you hide these bodies?"
"We didn't wanna get caught," Gabe answered.
"Caught doing what?" Chayton asked.
"Testing them," Gabe answered. "To see if they were Werewolves. And they were."
"Just like you tested Cory?" Liam asked.
Gabe nodded. "But we didn't kill them. Look at their faces. Something else did that."
Adriana sighed, nodding. "The Anuk-ite."
"The what?" Gabe asked.
"Why would it want to kill anyone?" Liam asked. "It feeds off fear. Dead people aren't afraid."
Theo shrugged. "Maybe the killing is just a by-product."
"Of what?" Chayton asked.
"Of it looking for its other half," Angel answered. "Which means it's looking for a supernatural creature. Someone like us."
"So these three could have been Werewolves, just not the ones that the Anuk-ite's looking for," Natalie concluded.
Adriana looked at Gabe in annoyance. "Which means you've been helping it." She closed the freezer chest. "Idiot."
"I don't even know what you guys are talking about," Gabe told them defensively. "I was just helping Aaron. It was his idea to test everyone."
"Who's Aaron?" Theo asked.
"He's on the lacrosse team," Liam answered.
"He's just a freshman," Natalie told them.
Angel looked at them in realization. "Aaron didn't want to find more of us."
Chayton nodded in agreement. "He wanted to find his other half."
Adriana sighed worriedly. "He's the Anuk-ite."

Primal Pack Compound - Outside
Scott, Tara, Ari, Stacie and Malia arrived at the Primal Pack compound in the woods, soon overcome with fear.
"Whoa," Stacie said. "What's wrong with this place?"
"I feel it, too," Scott told them.
Tara sighed heavily. "It's the Anuk-ite."
Stacie looked faint from the feeling of fear.
Ari took Stacie's hand to help calm her down. "Stacie, we came for the pack." Stacie tried to catch her breath, nodding in agreement. "It'll be okay, Stacie."
"Come on, Ari, let's just get this over with," Stacie told her.
Malia nodded in agreement. "Okay."
Stacie sighed. "Let's go."
Scott nodded in agreement. "Yeah."

Beacon Hills High School - Outside
Angel and Chayton made their way outside toward Chayton's car, stopping when they heard something, turning around.
Amelia and Isaiah walked closer.
"Angel," Isaiah told her. "Chayton."
"Mom?" Angel asked. "Dad? What are you doing here?"
"I had a premonition," Amelia answered. "Angel, he led me to Isaiah and us to find you."
"He wants us to find it," Isaiah explained.
"Who?" Chayton asked. "Who wants us to find what?"
Isaiah sighed. "Hawlyn, Chayton."

Woods
Amelia and Isaiah led Angel and Chayton through the woods.
"Why would a dead Hellhound bring you here?" Chayton asked. "Also, isn't he dead?"
"I guess the connection between two Hellhounds..." Isaiah trailed off.
"One alive Hellhound and one dead Hellhound," Chayton told them.
"Is stronger than we thought," Isaiah finished.
"Angel, Hawlyn knew how to find this creature and capture it, because he helped the Wild Hunt do so before we were taken by it," Amelia explained. "As for the why of what we are doing now, I'm hoping if we find the body, we'll figure that part out."
"You know, Scott, Ari, Stacie, Tara and Malia found a pile of dead bodies in a Werewolf camp," Angel told them.
"It's a different body, Angel," Isaiah told her.
"Are you sure there's another body out here?" Angel asked.
Amelia nodded. "I can see him leading me to it. Trust me."

Beacon Hills High School - Boys' Locker Room
Gabe and Nolan walked in, talking about the pack's activities today.
"They wanted to know who shot up Tara Hale's loft?" Nolan asked.
"Yeah, but I didn't tell them," Gabe answered.
"Well, how do you know who did it?" Nolan asked. Gabe didn't answer. Nolan realized. "Gabe? What did you do?"
Gabe gave him a look. "I did it for you."
"You shot up Tara Hale's loft for me?" Nolan asked skeptically. "What are you trying to do, get me killed?"
"I'm trying to keep you alive," Gabe answered. "I told Monroe it was you. So try being a little grateful."
"You told her it was me?" Nolan repeated.
"Why do you think you're still alive?" Gabe replied.
Nolan was looking at the broken, bloodstained mirror where Adriana and Theo had both pushed Gabe's head against the class and cut his skin, clearly freaking out.

Woods
Amelia led Isaiah, Angel and Chayton to a skinless bloody lump of a body partially covered in leaves.
"How is this possible?" Chayton asked. "Angel, we saw you kill it."
"This one's different from the one Angel burned, Chayton," Amelia told him.
"Yeah, I think Amelia's right, Chayton," Isaiah told him, showing them that the primal pack symbol was on the body. "I think this is part of the pack the others found dead."
"How do you know?" Angel asked.
"This is their pack symbol," Isaiah answered.
"Its skin is gone," Angel told them.
"Wolves have to burn tattoos into their skin," Amelia explained. "Adriana, Scott and Tara's are scarred into their muscles, too."
"Okay, Angel, but why are there two of these bodies?" Chayton asked.
"Because the Anuk-ite has two faces, Chayton," Angel answered.
Isaiah nodded in agreement. "Amelia, that's why Hawlyn sent you here."
Amelia nodded in agreement. "Angel... Isaiah... he wanted us to find the Anuk-ite's other face."
The four of them exchanged a look, sighing deeply.

Beacon Hills High School - Outside
Angel and Chayton met back up with Malia, Tara, Scott, Liam, Natalie, Stacie, Ari, Adriana and Theo so that they could all talk about what they had found out that day.
"So did you find anything out other than one half of the Anuk-ite?" Scott asked.
"Well, Natalie, Angel, Chayton and I found out that Theo and Adriana kissed," Liam told them. Malia, Tara, Scott, Liam, Stacie and Ari all looked at Theo and Adriana, and though they weren't surprised about how they felt because they all could tell before, they were surprised about the kiss. Embarrassed and frustrated once again, Adriana turned away, blushing slightly, but she hid it well from the pack with her hair, giving Theo a look because he was the one that told Liam in the first place. Theo smirked slightly in amusement, chuckling quietly. "Apparently it was pretty intense."
"Liam, shut up," Adriana told him.
Tara, Malia, Stacie and Ari spoke together. "What?"
"That was Natalie's and my reaction," Angel told them.
"Yep, Angel's right about that," Natalie told them.
They were all still looking at Adriana and Theo, to his amusement.
Adriana gave them all a sarcastic look, smirking sarcastically, changing the subject. "It's a bad day for finding bodies. Can we get back to that?"
Everyone hesitated for a second as they let the news set in and they moved on from it for the time being.
"There's gonna be a lot more if we don't find Aaron's other half," Scott told them.
"Which we know nothing about," Theo told them.
"We know one thing," Ari told them. "We know it's a Werewolf."
"We need to find this other Werewolf right now," Angel told them.
"Preferably before they merge," Chayton told them.
"What happens if they merge?" Malia asked.
"I don't know, but I got a feeling that it's not going to be good," Stacie told them with honest sarcasm.
"Any chance you got to put together that army?" Liam asked.
"You're looking at it," Tara told them.
They heard Peter behind them, turning to look at his black-stained appearance as if he had been in an explosion. "Let's hope this thing doesn't feed off desperation, because this place reeks of it."
"What happened?" Scott asked.
Peter held up a steering wheel. "The hunters destroyed my perfect automobile. So, if this thing had anything to do with it, I'd like to see its demise is appropriately painful."
"I thought you had two cars," Stacie told him.
Peter held up another piece of broken car, dropping it. "There's going to be hell to pay."

The Loft - Living Room
Tara, Malia and Peter had come back to the loft, watching it start raining through the broken wall of windows that they were trying to fix, watching the downpour outside.
Peter had gotten a shower and change of clothing. "What's the hold up? I have a lot of revenge to plan."
"No revenge until you tell us why you came back," Malia told him.
Peter gave them a look. "Gerard and his hunters blew up my cars, hoping that I would be inside one of them."
Tara rolled her eyes. "You're lying."
Peter sighed. "Well, that goes without saying, Tara."
"Something in my head convinced you that we have a winning shot," Tara told him. "And I'm betting that you saw what happened at the armory."
"Obviously," Peter answered. "It was obvious that you were willing to risk your life by impaling my claws into your neck when you know that has a high death risk, when you know that it's not going to hurt you because you've evolved. It's about time little Tara Hale got the gene to turn into an evolved wolf with the power to turn into an animal like her family. You're stronger now. Faster. Better in every way. You've always been a survivor, Tara, but I'm betting that you can win this battle, even if most of us lose. And I'm sure you're just dying to test out your new abilities."
"I'd be happy to test them out on you," Tara replied.
Peter chuckled, acting as if he was going to lunge toward Tara. Tara easily avoided him, moving smoothly and as quickly as a ghost, making them back to back now.
Malia was awed, smiling. "Tara, how did you do that?"
Tara shrugged. "I don't know. It's kind of just happening."
Peter and Tara circled as they were back to back, making Peter closer to Malia. Malia was eager to find out what Tara could do now, pointing for Peter to try an attack from the other direction, mouthing silently. Peter nodded understanding, flicking out his claws, turning to try to attack, but Tara easily avoided, turning to face him, punching him in the face, kicking him in the stomach. Peter lunged forward. Tara stepped aside, slamming her arm into Peter's back with so much strength she sent him flying to the floor. Malia smiled in amusement.
Tara turned to face Peter, smirking smugly, crossing her arms over her chest. "Not gonna try that again, are you?"
Peter scoffed softly in amusement, pushing himself up. "You can handle yourself better now, Tara. But are you willing to use this new power to kill if you have to?" Tara didn't answer, sighing. "I'm sure that's a difficult decision for you. Like you said. Malia and Tara Hale aren't the killers that I am. But, Tara, you might have to make the decision to be."
Tara didn't want to admit that Peter was right, but he did have a point. She just didn't want to think about the things that they might have had to do to finish the war.

Ari, Adriana, Macey's House - Adriana's Room
(Song:) It's Okay - Frida Sundemo
Adriana was standing by her vanity mirror to watch her reflection, flicking out her longer, darker and deadlier claws. She could make her skin darken and blacken and return normal, but it took great effort. She watched the reflection to see that Theo arrived in the doorway, turning to face him, giving him a sarcastic look. "Hey, Theo. You know, I could punch you for what you pulled in the locker room, which led to what happened in the parking lot, but you would just like that."
Theo chuckled in amusement. "You mean dropping the bomb to your friends to make you let that kid go? Which led to one of them telling the rest of the pack when we all met up later?"
"I'm not ashamed that they know, or that it happened," Adriana told him. "I'm just saying, you did not have to tell them like that." Theo smirked, shrugging. "But it's nice not to have secrets like that. It's making it a little easier."
"You don't care what they would think?" Theo asked.
"No, actually," Adriana answered. "I think they realize that you're the only thing keeping me in control right now. So, even if they don't like you, they realize that I need you."
Theo raised his eyebrows, smiling slightly. "You need me, huh?"
Adriana gave him a sarcastic look. "Shut up, Theo. Don't make this a bigger deal than it needs to be." They chuckled, smiling small smiles. Adriana let her smile fade to seriousness. "But you've been helping me. And saving me. Here I've been trying to catch up to you on the saving scale, and yet you can't stop yourself from saving me."
Theo smiled. "What did Deucalion say?"
"He just left," Adriana told him. "He's trying to help me with controlling the shift. I can start the change with a lot of concentration, but it's exhausting, trying to control it."
"What about the darkness?" Theo asked.
"He said that you have a greater chance of helping me with that than he does," Adriana answered. Theo was only slightly surprised by that statement, chuckling, tilting his head in acknowledgement. "He also says that being around the Anuk-ite is gonna make me worse, harder for me to control, but that I might be one of the best weapons we have against that thing. So he's trying to help me with control and with being able to use the darkness to help find the thing so we can stop it."
Theo nodded sarcastically. "So, I was right about you needing Deucalion, and he can actually help you with control and finding the Anuk-ite, and about the fact that I could be an anchor to help you with control, and yet, I don't recall hearing a 'You were right, Theo. Thank you very much'."
"First off, you know I hate admitting that you're right," Adriana replied. Theo chuckled, nodding in agreement. "Second off... there is no second." They chuckled in amusement. Adriana smiled a little. "Thank you, Theo. Not just for helping me with control. But constantly taking my mind off of the darkness so that it doesn't consume me." Theo nodded. Adriana pressed her lips together, nodding sarcastically to make the moment a little less serious. "Even if you're only doing it because the promise that my mom and Lydia made you make."
Theo scoffed at the teasing remark. "Oh, Adriana, you know that is so not the only reason. But at least you got a little bit of the teasing, sarcastic Adri back because of this. Proof that everything is not all bleak all the time." Adriana managed a small smile, though she was still worried about everything. Theo knew what was wrong, stepping closer. "Adri." Adriana looked up, seeing how close he was. "They're gonna be okay. We're gonna stop who hurt them, and we're not gonna lose you in the process. Got it?"
"You also know that I hate being told what to do," Adriana told him. "But that's something I can actually agree with you on." They smiled small smiles. "I hate to admit it, but... everyone else, they don't get it. They try to, but they can't understand."
Theo nodded in understanding. "Because they haven't felt that darkness. They don't know that it needs a release and not to be caged. Because sometimes caged things tend to break free in the most explosive ways." Adriana nodded in agreement. "The more they hold you back, the more they push you away, without meaning to. I'm not trying to hold you back."
"No," Adriana agreed. "You're just helping me channel it and release it in small portions, even if it's on you, because you said it's better to release it on you, than anyone else. And control it, instead of trying to control me. And when I was close to losing control today and about to smash Gabe's head against the glass again, when Natalie, Angel, Liam and Chayton held me back and pulled me away, you did it for me so I wouldn't have to. Which might be psychotic in everyone else's books. But it's actually helping me. So... thank you, Theo." They chuckled, smiling small smiles. "You didn't just bring up the kiss earlier to embarrass me back to light. You brought it up so that I would think about that night, and have it bring me back. Using the memory of you and me... to keep me anchored to control."
Theo smirked, shrugging. "It worked, didn't it? The memory worked for you. Memory for both of us have been messed up because of childhood trauma brainwashing. I might need a reminder." As Theo had planned, that got a genuine small laugh out of Adriana, causing Theo to smile a little. Adriana looked at him curiously. "What?"
"Is it bad that you're the only one that can get me to smile lately?" Adriana asked.
Theo shook his head. "No. It's okay. It's all okay, Adri." Adriana and Theo looked at each other, still close. Theo brushed back a piece of her hair, looking her in the eyes. "You're not ashamed of kissing me, and you're not ashamed that they know. Question is, would you do it again?"
Adriana was more relaxed and at ease than any other time, resting her hands on his chest, nodding. Theo placed a hand on the back of her head to pull her closer into a passionate kiss. Adriana slid her hands up from his chest to his neck, wrapping her arms around his neck, holding her hand around strands of her hair, closed, pulling softly. Theo cupped her chin to kiss her more deeply, passionately. They pulled away, looking at each other for a moment longer, continuing to kiss passionately.

Outside
It was still down pouring rain.
Ari and Natalie were sitting outside, staying quiet for the most part as they were waiting for the arrival of the very close person to both of them. They looked up as headlights shone over the driveway, seeing Isaac park his car and get out, standing, looking at him in relief. Isaac walked closer worriedly to check on both of them and make sure that they were both okay after their hellish last few weeks. Ari and Natalie stood in relief, walking closer.
"Nattie, hey," Isaac told her.
Natalie sighed in relief. "Isaac. I told Ari that she didn't have to call you about what happened with me and Gerard, but after what happened with Melissa, Lydia, and Macey, and Adriana..."
Isaac nodded understandingly. "I know, Natalie. I was needed at home. Nattie, I'm home."
Natalie ran closer to embrace her older brother after so long, who held his arms just as tightly around her, protective and comforting. "I missed you, Izzy."
"I missed you, too, Nattie," Isaac told her. Natalie was even more comforted yet emotional at the nickname exchange that the two siblings had for each other after everything that was going on. They pulled away, nodding. "It's okay, Nattie." Ari was slowly walking closer. Isaac looked at her worriedly. "Ari..."
Ari was especially relieved to see Isaac after the long while since she had seen him last, and definitely because she needed him after everything that was going on, with her family hurt or falling apart, walking closer quickly into Isaac's waiting arms. "I missed you... so much, Isaac." Natalie was comforted to see Ari and Isaac reunited and being there for each other in the midst of everything that was happening. Ari and Isaac continued to embrace tightly in relief that they had each other even when all else seemed to fall apart, pulling away, looking at each other. "Thank you. For coming home."
Isaac nodded reassuringly in sympathy. "Of course, Ari."
"I wouldn't have called if I didn't think..." Ari trailed off.
Isaac brushed back a piece of Ari's wet hair, holding her comfortingly. "Ari, I know. It's okay, Ari. I'm here, Ari."
Isaac still held his hand on Ari's cheek, kissing her slowly and softly, passionately and comfortingly. Ari was set more at ease and relief, returning the kiss just as passionately. They pulled away after a moment so they could once again embrace, where Isaac held Ari comfortingly as she was trying to stay strong despite everything was so wrong.

Day Three
Morning - Beacon Hills High School - Hallway
(Song:) Holy Grail - Dead Posey
The school bell released students into the hallway after class.
Ethan and Jackson slowly made their way into the school through the double doors at the end of the hallway, walking down the hall in typical Teen Wolf slow motion. As they walked down the hall, Jackson was seen checking out both a female and male student as they passed. Ethan playfully hit Jackson in the chest. They both smiled.
"Weird being back," Ethan told him.
Jackson nodded in agreement. "Yeah." The first adult they encountered happened to be Monroe. "Excuse me. Uh, hi. I'm looking for Scott McCall and Ari Martin. I hear Scott's the new assistant lacrosse coach, and that both Ari Martin and Stacie Stilinski are helping teach both lacrosse and soccer, since they had joined the lacrosse team before they graduated, which is kind of mind-blowing, to be honest, since Ari was a loner biker chick for most of her life, and Stacie Stilinski was already on the cross country and track teams and was always getting hurt because of..." He smirked at the inside joke. "After school activities. I mean, are they around here? I don't know, uh, assisting?"
"I'd be happy to help you find him," Monroe told them. "Tell me your name again."
"Jackson," Jackson answered.
"Jackson Whittemore?" Monroe asked.
Jackson seemed flattered that she knew his name. "Yeah. You've heard of me?"

Armory - Basement
Jackson and Ethan were now tied to the metal scissor gate that Theo, Tierney and Jiang had used to be restrained to in 6.15 Pressure Test. Monroe threw a bucket of water all over them. Jackson and Ethan were annoyed, shaking the water off of their hair and heads.
(Song Ends)
Ethan was mocking what Jackson had said in the hallway. "'You've heard of me'?" He chuckled without humor, giving Jackson a look. "'You've heard of me'?"
"I thought it was a lacrosse thing," Jackson told him.
"Okay," Ethan told him, looking away.
Monroe sat down in front of them at the table with the control to the electrical current they were hooked up to. "What do you want with Scott McCall and Ari Martin?"
"Oh, I'm sorry," Jackson told her sarcastically. "Am I supposed to know who you are? Or be impressed by this little show?"
Monroe dialed up the electricity, sending a shock through the gate and into Jackson and Ethan, making them both shake and scream in pain, dialing down the current so she could repeat her question more slowly and forcefully. "What... do... you... want... with Scott McCall and Ari Martin?"
Jackson glared at her in annoyance. "Actually, I've got some questions for you."
"That's not how this works," Monroe told them.
"Really?" Jackson asked. "Because it seems like you need us more than we need you. Or you'll never actually find out what we were gonna tell Scott McCall and Ari Martin." Monroe sent current through them again, making them scream in pain. "Why are you killing Werewolves in London? Why did you send hunters to chase us down, huh?"
Monroe turned the current off. "As I said, this is not how this works."
Ethan was listening to Monroe's heartbeat. "It already did. He talks, I listen."
Jackson nodded smugly in agreement. "Yeah, we're--we're getting pretty good at it." Monroe angrily turned the current back on, making them yell in pain, eventually turning off the current, leaving the basement, leaving the couple to talk alone. Jackson looked at Ethan. "Happy Anniversary."
Ethan gave Jackson a look, but couldn't help but chuckle, as the couple was left tied up to the scissor gate in the armory.
