chapter 22 - Who We Are

THEN

From 5.16 "The Dark Side of the Moon", in the motel room, Catty looked at the two hunters that had killed her, Sam and Dean. "Is that you, Roy? Which makes you Walt."

Walt shot Sam in the chest, shooting Catty in the head, and also shooting Dean.

From 11.21 "All in the Family", outside the Sanders' House, Sage's parents were dead on the ground. Sage was kneeling to the ground, holding her little sister Lisa's dead body in her arms. She was struck with lighting, screaming. Her eyes were glowing white.

Sabrina: (voice over from 11.21 All in the Family) "Sage Sanders."

From 11.21 "All in the Family", outside the Bunker, Levi looked at Sage. "Stay tuned. We may need you."

From 11.22 "We Happy Few", Sabrina and Sage's conversation on phone.

"Yes, I know all about Jody Mills," Sage told her. "The adoptive mom to a girls halfway home. You said that she's got two other girls, Claire and Alex."

From 12.16 "Ladies Drink Free", outside the high school, Sage looked at the other girls. "I'm not just some psycho that's gonna kill or hurt everything in my path. Considering that I don't have a soul, and I'm a 'Prophet of the Lord', I'm never gonna be normal. But I'm not gonna go postal."

From 12.17, 12.18, 12.19, 12.20, 12.21, there were flashes of Octavia being tortured, while they were trying to rewire her brain, having Enochian warded wires in her skull.

Hess: (voice over from 12.17 The British Invasion) "With the spell we're concocting with the Angels' brainwashing of you, we'll be able to rewire your thoughts and feelings, into ours."

"How do you know that Sabrina, Ariel and Faith won't just heal me from the damage that you do to me, once they find me?" Octavia asked.

"Because with this spell, if Sabrina, Ariel and Faith try to heal you, or Castiel and Levi, they'll only damage your mind further than it will already be," Ketch answered. "It will make the brainwashing, the anger, whatever fire you feel inside, all the more worse, and they may never see their precious Ava again."

From 12.18 "The Memory Remains", in Octavia's mind space, Sam was standing behind Octavia, the hallucination taunting her. "The spell that is rewiring your brain, burning your subconscious, making you more angry and more violent than you have ever been. They could heal you bit by bit so that they're not risking damaging you forever. But if you go too long without being healed even a little bit, you'll start to go mad again. You know that you can keep it up for as long as you can. But you know you can't do that forever."

Octavia couldn't control it when she stabbed Sam, making the image fade and disappear, breathing heavily in worry and horror, though still consumed with anger, dropping the blade to the floor.

Octavia: (voice over from 12.18 The Memory Remains) "You want the anger and rage to consume me? Well, that part is working, I'll grant you that."

From 12.19 "The Future", in Octavia's mind space, a hallucination of Amara was taunting Octavia. "The full effect of the Mark will be unleashed. When Aiden and Amara are on the brink of death, once they both have a near death experience at the same exact moment. Aiden will be linked to Amara, and Aiden will have to grow up to the age that Amara is, to finish the link between the two twins, and they'll both have more powers than you have seen thus far. Aiden's sense of evil? Amara's sense of when someone is lying to her? It's just the beginning of the effects of the Mark. We will have complete control over you. And then you will kill who we want when we want. Even the ones that you love the most."

Octavia was so overcome with anger she sent a burst of her power toward Amara to throw her back through the air, making the hallucination of Amara fade and disappear.

Hess: (voice over from 12.17 The British Invasion) "The grand experiment recruiting American hunters has failed, utterly."

From 12.17 "The British Invasion", in her cell, Octavia looked at Hess. "I still don't know what you want me to do about that."

Hess smirked sarcastically. "I want you to exterminate them."

From 12.21 "There's Something About Octavia", in Rick's apartment, Octavia smote Rick, killing him.

Hess: (voice over from 12.17 The British Invasion) "Every. last. one."

From 12.21 "There's Something About Octavia", in the Bunker, after the major gunfight between Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness, Amara, Brandon and the Brits, Octavia used her power to slam Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness and Brandon to the ground, pushing Amara against the wall with Aiden still in her arms. Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness, Amara and Brandon looked at Octavia worriedly, who didn't seem to be awake.

Brandon: (voice over from 12.21 There's Something About Octavia) "They're making it to where Ava won't remember loving any of you so that she will kill you if given the order, barely aware of who she is and who you are. I doubt if she knows the difference between hallucination and reality at this point."

"Your Bunker is an excellent fortress," Ketch told them. "An even better tomb. The warding on your walls have been reinforced to where even if you try to pray to Sabrina, Ariel and Faith, they won't be able to hear you from wherever they are. So they can't come to save you. We've rejiggered the locks, we've shut off the water, and once we leave, the pumps that bring in the air shall reverse. Your oxygen should be gone in two days, maybe three. Come along, Octavia."

Ketch chanted the spell to make Octavia's will decrease, making her follow, as he closed the door behind them.

Sam ran up to the door. "Ava!"

NOW

§

Same Night - Day One

Night - Junkyard

After killing another hunter, Octavia was washing blood off her hands in the sink, looking as if she didn't know if this was hallucination or reality, stuck in a dream-like trance. She grabbed her Angel Sword that was stained with blood, walking outside.

§

Outside

Octavia walked outside toward her Camaro, tossing her Sword into the car, texting:

Lester's down. Who's next?

Octavia got into her car when the messaged back.

Fred Macrae, ID

Kirby Sheffield, WY

Sage Sanders, SD

Octavia paused while she looked at Sage's name, knowing her, but unable to feel anything for the friend of the family that didn't have a soul.

§ Worlds Colliding (Supernatural) §

The Bunker - War Room

Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness, Amara, Aiden and Brandon were still trapped in the Bunker without a way to call for help, where the power and the air supply was shut down.

Dean was shining a flashlight at a locked circuit control panel, slamming his fist against the panel in frustration. "All right. The garage?"

"Doors are warded and the walls are reinforced steel," Brandon answered.

"Okay," Sam told them. "Um, you know, maybe we could get out through the air vents."

"You wouldn't get far," Brandon told them. "There are choke points in the duct system not even Amara could squeeze through."

"What do you suggest that we do then, genius?" Catty asked. "Your organization turned on you and killed your father and locked you in here with us to kill you, too."

"They brainwashed Aunt Ava," Amara told them. "Brandon, if we ever get out of here, can we get through Aunt Ava's programming?"

Brandon nodded. "I swear."

"Brandon, you're so smart," Ness told him. "How do we get out of here?"

"The only way out is to pull the manual overdrive," Brandon answered.

"Is that a thing?" Sam asked.

"Oh, it is," Brandon answered. "But it's outside the Bunker, where we can't reach it."

"Awesome," Dean told them sarcastically.

"Wait a second, guys," Catty told them. "We're in a giant vault loaded room with occult books and lore. There's gotta be something somewhere in here. An item or a spell. Some hoodoo that can reverse the lockdown."

§

Library

Sam, Dean, Ness, Catty, Amara and Brandon were sitting around the two tables, reading lore books. Ness was holding Aiden, who was fussy but quiet.

"I think I got something," Ness told them. "'When the Romani people were forced to assimilate in Europe, the, uh, the Roman used a spell, the Abrogation ritual, as an act of rebellion against their persecutors'. 'The Devla turns back complex mechanical processes, resets equipment, machinery'."

"What's it take?" Amara asked.

"Seems like pretty basic ingredients," Ness answered. "Nothing we don't already have. Oh."

"What?" Dean asked.

"The mechanisms 'must be anointed with the blood of virgins'," Ness answered. Sam, Dean, Ness and Catty looked at Amara and Brandon. Dean raised his eyebrows slightly. Amara and Brandon exchanged a look, sighing. Ness put Aiden down to do the spell. Brandon and Amara cut their hands, dripping their blood into a bowl over the ingredients needed for the spell. Ness started the spell, sprinkling ash over the ingredients. "Farmichi, farmichi, mashuna parra, mashuna parra."

There was a rumbling sound as the room started to shake. Electricity started cracking, the lights flickering on and off.

"It's working," Sam told them. "It's working!"

The Bunker was powering up as they looked around the room in surprise and relief, until the Bunker powered down again.

Dean looked around. "No." He sighed heavily. "No."

"What happened?" Amara asked.

"Ketch," Brandon answered. "He knew we'd... he must've put some kind of mystical dampener on the Bunker's lockdown. Magic won't work."

They all signed dejectedly.

§

Day Two

Morning - The Bunker - Library

Everyone was in the library again.

Dean unrolled blue prints on the table. "Okay, we have... exhausted brains, so I saw we try brawn."

"How?" Amara asked.

"Walls," Catty answered. "Now, the garage, the Crow's Nest, there all reinforced steel walls, right? But right here..." She pointed at an area on the blue prints. "That's nothing but concrete. And right there, that's an old sewer pipe. Goes straight up to the surface. To the override."

"So wait a second," Amara told them. "We're just gonna..."

Dean nodded, smirking. "Straight Shawshank this bitch."

§

Garage

Dean was standing in front of the concrete wall with a pick ax. Sam and Brandon were standing nearby to help work. Dean swung the pick ax at the wall, getting hit in the face with debris.

"Goggles?" Sam asked.

"Goggles," Dean answered.

Brandon found three goggles, walking up to Sam and Dean to hand them each one. The three boys pulled the goggles on to take alternate strikes at the wall, the pick axes making a clattering sound and concrete flying off in all directions. After several strikes, they had barely made an impact, breathing heavily.

Brandon sighed. "Yeah."

Sam groaned. "Oh, yeah."

Sam and Dean walked over to where Catty, Ness and Amara were sitting with Aiden, sitting down with them, clearly exhausted.

"We earned a break," Dean told them.

"Yeah," Sam agreed.

"We'll get there," Dean told them.

Amara sighed. "No. No, we won't. You're not gonna hit dirt for three days. Two if we're lucky. We can't call Sabrina, Ariel and Faith, Levi or Uncle Cas for help because the warding. We can't get Aunt Ava back like this. I know you feel it. The air, it's thin. And it's getting thinner."

"How did this happen?" Ness asked.

"What part?" Catty asked.

"All of it," Ness answered.

Catty sighed dejectedly. "Yeah."

"You know, it wasn't long ago, I thought we had it made," Ness told them. "We saved the world. Sow got us Amara back. Sow was alive after we thought she would've died saving us from the Darkness. Aiden was okay. We had Mary back. We saved Ava, Ariel and Faith from the Devil and the Darkness. We had Cas and Levi. I mean, it wasn't perfect, but still, we had them. And now..."

"Now Aunt Ava's gone," Amara finished sadly. "We can't call Sow, Ariel, Faith. Or Uncle Cas and Levi."

Sam looked devastated. "And Ava, what they did to her..." He scoffed, shaking his head, tears in his eyes. "I just fell for their company line. I--I saw what they were doing, and I--and  I thought, hunters on that scale, working together... how much good we can do."

"We were trying to rid the world of monsters, Sam," Dean told him. "For Ariel and Faith. Sabrina. Amara and Aiden."

Sam nodded in agreement. "Yeah, but we lost Ava. And once I was in, I--I just followed. 'Cause it was easy. Easier."

"Easier than what?" Dean asked.

"Easier than leading," Sam answered.

"We'll find a way to get out of here, Sammy," Catty told him. "We'll call Sabrina, Ariel and Faith. They can find Ava now that she's out there in the open. And once we have her, if anyone can bring Ava back, it's you."

They nodded in agreement, hanging their heads.

Amara picked up a piece of concrete, tossing it. "Is this how you pictured it? The end?"

"Oh, you know it's not, Amara," Dean told her. "I always thought we'd go out like... Butch and Sundance style."

Catty chuckled. "Yeah. Blaze of glory."

Dean nodded in agreement. "Blaze of glory."

Ness realized what they could do to get out of here because they brought that up, smirking. "Son of a bitch."

They looked at her in confusion.

§

Later

After they had taken Aiden back upstairs out of the room so they could do this, Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness and Amara were getting ready, telling Brandon the plan.

"You're lunatics," Brandon told them. "This is a stupid idea."

Dean walked into the room. "Yep. Big, beautiful." He held up the grenade launcher. "And dumb. We've had this thing for so long. Amara, Catty, Sabrina and I've been waiting for the perfect moment to use it. And Ariel and Faith once they found out we had it. Never thought it would be Ness that would decide the perfect moment, but that's what makes it better."

Catty, Amara and Ness smiled.

"The explosion could kill us all," Brandon told them. "You could bring the whole bloody place crashing down."

Amara nodded. "Yep."

Catty chuckled. "Yeah."

"You're lunatics," Brandon told them. "Action movie loving, cheeseburger eating lunatics." They raised their eyebrows at him, waiting for him to finish what he was saying because they knew that he had more to say. Brandon smiled. "I like it. Let's get the hell out of here."

"Knew there was something I liked about you," Amara told him. "You know it's insane, but you love it anyway."

Everyone smiled. Sam, Catty, Ness, Amara and Brandon took cover outside the room by the wall, covering their ears.

Dean turned to use the grenade launcher at the stone wall they had been chipping away at. "Okay, beautiful. Yippee ki-yay, mother--"

Dean shot the grenade launcher, setting off an explosion followed by debris falling.

§

Library

Aiden was sitting in a playpen, hearing the explosion, looking toward the direction it came from. He wasn't scared by the noise, but amused and awed by it, smiling, giggling and laughing. But with the air becoming so thin in the Bunker, he had trouble breathing once he used so much breath on laughing, gasping for breath.

§

Garage

After the explosion ended, Sam, Catty, Ness, Amara and Brandon came out of cover, seeing Dean on the floor with a busted up leg.

Ness ran closer. "Dean? Dean. Hey. You okay?"

Dean nodded. "Yeah, I'm good."

Ness helped Dean stand, holding him up. Dean wrapped an arm around her to steady himself. Ness held him close in relief, kissing him. Dean was only a little surprised, returning the kiss.

"Amara, you think you can squeeze through to get to the manual overdrive outside?" Catty asked.

"I'm hurt you even have to ask, Aunt Catty," Amara told her, walking toward the hole in the wall to crawl outside to get up to the manual overdrive. While she was crawling through the hole, she seemed to know that Aiden was losing breath, worried, gasping slightly. "Aiden."

The gravel fell through the hole toward Amara, threatening to crash onto her.

Sam, Catty, Dean, Ness and Brandon were gasping for breath as they were almost out of oxygen just like Aiden, falling to their knees. They heard the gravel falling from where they were in the garage, worried that it could crush Amara, calling out in worry and horror. "Amara?" Amara was gasping for breath, the same way Aiden was while in the library. Both of them were clearly on the edge of passing out, or drifting off, but not a thorough attack on their lives, they were able to push through and stay alive. Once they were close to drifting off, it was clear that the link/bond was forged as their lives were about to end, when their powers unleashed, keeping them alive, creating waves of energy that escaped from Aiden and Amara each, that threw the library around Aiden into more of a mess than it already was, and creating a burst of rock that made a bigger hole around Amara, clearly saving her life before she could be crushed. The burst of rock in the hole Amara was in, and the wave of energy that escaped from Aiden that threw the library into chaos, was almost as loud as the explosion from the grenade. "Aiden?"

§

Amara and Aiden could breathe again, barely.

Amara called out to the others. "I'm okay."

Sam, Catty, Dean, Ness and Brandon sighed in relief, not knowing what had happened while Amara was deep into the hole in the wall, but knowing that something had happened.

§

Library

Sam, Catty, Dean, Ness and Brandon made their way up to the library quickly, seeing the mess around Aiden, stunned. For now, Aiden was still the same age the way he was before, since the link had literally just been forged.

Aiden smiled. "Boom boom."

Dean picked Aiden up. "Yeah, Aiden, boom boom."

Ness shook her head. "See, Dean? Aiden and Amara love explosions just like you. And Catty and Sabrina, Ariel and Faith."

Dean and Catty smiled. The Bunker began to power up. Air was pumped into the room. They heard the door in the war room opening, walking toward the doorway between the library and the war room to look up at the balcony.

Amara walked in, putting her hands on the railing of the balcony, tilting her head at them. "Hey, lunatics." They smiled in relief. "Let's go save Aunt Ava."

Sam nodded in agreement. "Let's save Ava."

§

Motel

Octavia's Camaro pulled up to the motel. Octavia got out, looking around voidly, walking toward a motel room.

§

Motel Room

There was a knock on the door.

Sage opened the door, revealing Octavia outside, raising her eyebrows. "Ava?"

"Hey, Sage," Octavia told her. "Uh, you got a sec?"

"Yeah," Sage answered. Octavia walked into the motel room, pulling out her sword, turning to face Sage. Sage was praying. "Sabrina. Ariel. Faith. Ava's here. Brainwashed. Remember to be strong enough to say no to her even though all you wanna do is save her. You don't have to say yes to being controlled to save Ava."

Octavia chuckled. "So they told you I've been missing for a while, huh?"

Sage shrugged. "Well, they thought they could use an extra set of eyes to help find you."

Sabrina, Ariel and Faith had obviously heard the prayer, appearing in front of them.

"Hey, Mom," Ariel told her.

"We've been looking for you for a long, long time," Faith told her.

"I've been a little busy," Octavia told them.

"Killing hunters for the Men of Letters because of brainwashing and a crazy spell," Sabrina finished. "Yeah, we know. Mom, Uncle Sam, Uncle Dean, Aunt Nessie, Amara, Aiden and Brandon made it out of the Bunker."

Faith sighed. "Aunt Catty prayed to us to tell us what's going on."

Octavia frowned a bit in confusion. "So does that mean Aiden and Amara are linked now?"

"What do you mean, linked?" Ariel asked.

"You know what?" Faith asked. "Don't answer that yet. I don't care about any link."

"We're bringing you home," Ariel told her. "And then you can answer that question."

"They want you to get to us, right?" Faith asked.

"That's not gonna happen," Sabrina told her. "We can save you, Aunt Ava."

Octavia shook her head, sighing. "I'm not the one that needs saving."

"The Angels working with the Brits got control over you," Ariel told her. "But we can help you fight it."

"They want you," Octavia told them. "And they told me if you didn't listen to me, that I would have to hurt you."

"But you don't want to hurt us, do you?" Faith asked. "Come on, Mom. Sow, Ariel and I can help you."

"Whatever's in your head, we can get it out, and you can explain about 'linked' later," Sabrina told her. Octavia tried fighting the spell for a while, before it lashed out and made her slash her sword toward Sabrina. "Aunt Ava!" Sabrina raised an arm to block the move of the sword, pushing Octavia's arm aside, using magic to pull the sword out of Ava's hands into her own, tossing it to Sage. "Sage."

Sage caught the Angel Sword, spinning it around, keeping it away from Octavia. Faith blocked a punch from Octavia, hitting her in the stomach, gripping her shoulders, turning to push her into the wall. Octavia pushed Faith off, kicking her in the stomach. Sabrina, Ariel and Faith were clearly holding back because they didn't want to hurt Octavia, otherwise Octavia would have already been hurt or dead by now. Ariel caught Octavia's arm, spinning her away to make her face away from her, facing Faith. Octavia spun out of the grip, trying to punch Sabrina. Sabrina caught her arm, flipping Octavia to the floor, turning to put her knee to Octavia's back to keep her down. Ariel and Faith used magic to keep her down.

"It's over, Mom," Ariel told her. "We're bringing you home."

Faith nodded. "We're saving you."

§

The Bunker - Outside

Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness, Amara and Brandon were outside with Aiden to get more fresh air because of how long air had been leaving the Bunker, going through all of the phones.

"Uh, dead," Amara told them.

"Dead," Brandon told them.

"Wait, I got one," Catty told them. She called Garth. "Garth? Hey. Oh, hey. It's good to hear your voice. Listen, uh, those Brits I told you about, they've got a hit out on American hunters. I'm guessing that goes double for Werewolf hunters, so... No, I don't have time to explain. You and Bessie need to get someplace safe. Okay? All right?"

Sabrina appeared, walking closer.

"Sow?" Ness asked. "Anything?"

Sabrina nodded. "Aunt Ava went after Sage. Sage prayed to Ariel, Faith and me. Ariel, Faith, Sage and I all got Aunt Ava."

Everyone looked at each other in relief.

§

Motel Room

Sabrina brought Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness, Amara, Brandon and Aiden. Sage was twisting Octavia's Angel Sword around expertly, practicing how to use it, smirking at the feeling of being powerful.

"Sage?" Sabrina asked.

"Sage," Amara told her. "Hey."

"Hey, Amara," Sage told her nonchalantly.

"Hey," Dean told her.

"You okay?" Brandon asked.

"Great," Sage answered. "Sabrina, Ariel and Faith came sweeping in to save the day again. Saved my ass from Mad Hatter Ava."

"Where's Ava, Ariel and Faith?" Sam asked.

"In here, Dad," Ariel called from another room.

They walked toward where Octavia was pinned to a chair completely with Ariel and Faith's magic, with Ariel and Faith standing in front of her. Their power was better at restraining Octavia than the warded chains and wires had ever been while trapped with the Brits.

Octavia smirked unemotionally. "Hello."

"I knew something was wrong with Ava when she pulled out that badass Angel Sword," Sage explained, twirling the Angel Sword in her grip. "But I had no idea that brainwashing could be so thorough on an Angel."

"That's because they used an Angel-enslaving spell and Angel brainwashing on Ava, Sage," Brandon explained. "I know everything, Ava."

Octavia noticed that Dean had a busted lug. "Uh-oh, Dean. Get hurt busting out of the Bunker? Too bad Sabrina, Ariel and Faith couldn't come save you and the others while they were busy looking for me."

Sabrina healed Dean with a touch. Ariel and Faith looked hurt to see Octavia like this.

Sam walked closer. "Ariel. Faith." They looked at him. "That's not Ava."

"What's the matter, Sam?" Octavia asked. "Am I too different from the Ava you know? This is the Ava that I used to be when the Angels had control of me. Except for a hundred times worse because of the damn spell that nearly fried my damn mind."

Amara brought Brandon over. "Here she is. Do your thing, Brandon."

"All right, you said that if Sabrina, Ariel and Faith healed Ava, that it could destroy her mind forever," Dean told him.

"I said that if they healed too much of her mind it would destroy her forever," Brandon corrected. "They could try healing her bit by bit, roll the dice to see if she makes it out of it intact as the Ava that you know."

"You said that you could fix her," Faith told him. "So fix her."

"We can't do it here," Brandon told them. "We don't have the right equipment. We just needed to find her and bring her elsewhere so that I can do it. The Ava that you know, the good Ava, she's behind impenetrable Psychic walls. And I'm afraid these walls..." He sighed. "Well, they can't be torn down with grenades."

Ariel looked at Octavia's phone. "Hey, guys. Listen, uh, Ketch keeps calling Mom's phone."

"I'll get it," Octavia told them.

"Let it go to voicemail," Sabrina told them.

"This is not going to stop," Brandon told them. "Soon enough, they'll find out we're alive, that Sabrina, Ariel and Faith are within Ava. I know that you don't want to run, because I don't want to run anymore."

"So what, then?" Faith asked.

Brandon shrugged. "We fight."

§

Jody's House - Living Room

A few hunters were meeting up at Jody's house. Sage and Alex were sitting on a couch, drinking sodas. Sabrina, Ariel and Faith were keeping Octavia pinned down easily with their power. Mary was standing next to Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness, Amara and Brandon.

Jody was handing out beer. "Feet off the table, Jerry."

Sage took a beer. "Thanks."

"I've learned not to argue with you, Sage," Jody told her.

Sage smirked, taking a drink of beer. Alex chuckled. There was a knock on the door.

"That should be the last one," Sage told them.

The front door opened, and Walt and Roy walked in.

"Walt," Catty told him. "Roy."

"Well, damn," Walt told them.

"We haven't seen you guys since--" Roy started.

"Since you killed us," Dean finished. "No hard feelings."

"Uh, please, get comfortable," Ness told them.

Amara looked at Brandon. "You sure about this?"

Brandon nodded.

"You gonna tell us what we're doing here or what?" Mary asked.

"Ah, of course," Brandon answered. "Yeah. Um, so the Winchesters and I, we--we, um..." He sighed, shaking his head. "No, you know what? I called you here because people... um, your people are being slaughtered. And you're next. The British Men of Letters, they had the whole company believing that we could do your job better than you could. They hooked hunters with flashy gear and their tech. Most of you had the good sense to turn them down. Good for you. Me and my father... we were raised with the Brits. They said they wanted the same thing we wanted, you know? A world free of monsters. That's not what they really wanted. They want to turn people like me into killers like them. Anyone who defies their rule, me, my father, any of you... they'll want to kill. My father was already killed by them, and I've been working with the Winchesters, on the run ever since. They want control. They want to live in a world where they can sit in some office and decide who gets to live and who gets to die. And they've killed people, more than just my father. They've killed innocent people just because they got in the way. They think the ends justify the means. But hunting with the Winchesters, learning what they know, doing what they do, I learned better. Hunting isn't just about killing. It's about doing what's right, even when it's hard. So you go by your gut, right? You play by your own rules, and that scares them. It scares them even more that this kind of life is what won over me and my dad. That's why they want us all dead, 'cause we're the one things they can't control."

"So what do you want from us?" Mary asked.

Amara stepped up next to Brandon. "Brandon here has been helping our family, and he's going to help us save my Aunt Ava from them. We want you to follow us. Take the fight to them. To hit them before they hit us. We go in fast, and hard, and we fight, and we beat them down until they give up or until they're dead. Look, they're well-trained and well-armed. Some of us might not make it back. But we will win. We will take down the bad guys, because that's what we do." She looked at Brandon. "They're scared of us?" Brandon nodded. "Yeah. Good. They should be."

Octavia smirked in amusement, but couldn't deny the fact that she was impressed with the speech provided by Amara and Brandon.

§

Mary tossed keys to Dean. "You know where we're going?"

"Yep," Dean answered.

"Gear up," Sage told them. "We'll roll out in 10."

Sam walked toward Sabrina, Ariel, Faith and Octavia. The others walked closer.

"You ready?" Ness asked.

"Oh, no," Ariel answered. "We're not going anywhere until we know how to save Mom."

Sam looked at Mary, Dean and Catty. "You just show those sons of bitches who's boss. Make them pay for what they did to Ava."

"You got it," Catty told them.

Mary nodded. "You got it."

Sabrina looked at Sam, Ariel and Faith. "Look, if she's in there... if our real Aunt Ava is in there somewhere... then if anyone can find her and bring her back, it's you."

Alex walked into the room with a duffle bag. Sage was cocking and cleaning her guns, about to go.

Jody walked toward them. "Okay, Alex. Donna's--"

"Waiting for me at a safe house," Alex finished. "I should drive straight there, no stops. And you'll call me when this is all over. I got it. Sage. Jody--"

"We'll be careful," Jody told her. "I promise."

"Not what I was gonna ask," Alex told them. "Kick it in the ass."

Sage smirked. "You know that's not a problem for me."

Jody smiled, kissing Alex on the forehead. "Come on, Sage."

Sage and Jody walked out.

Faith looked at Mary, Dean and Catty. "You sure you got that?"

"If you guys got the saving Ava part of the plan, watching Aiden and making sure no one else is coming for our family again, then Mom, Dean and I sure as hell got the killing the evil sons of bitches that did this to all of us part of the plan," Catty answered. "Come here."

Mary, Catty and Dean embraced their family.

"You come back with Uncle Dean and Grandma Mary, Aunt Catty," Ariel told her.

"Promise," Mary told them.

Dean looked at Sam and Catty. "Dicks."

"Jerks," Sam replied.

Catty smirked, raising her hands halfheartedly. "Bitches."

Sabrina, Amara, Ariel and Faith smiled. "Yeah."

Ness walked closer to Dean. "We can finish this, Dean, together. And soon. I promise."

Dean nodded. "I know."

"I love you," Ness told him.

"Love you, too," Dean told her.

Dean and Ness smiled small smiles, kissing for a moment, pulling away. Mary, Dean and Catty walked out with the other hunters to go take down the Brits. Everyone watched them go.

Octavia rolled her eyes, sighing. "Bored out of my mind now. At least while I was being brainwashed, it was a lot more interesting than this."

Sabrina held her hand toward Octavia, easily using magic to make her stop talking. "Until we get Aunt Ava back, shut up."

Ariel and Faith were impressed, looking at Sabrina. "You gotta teach me that."

They all  chuckled.

Ariel looked at Brandon. "Okay, those other guys got inside Mom's head before. What about us? You get us in?"

"You?" Brandon asked. "I..." He sighed. "Perhaps, but I would need my rig."

"Where is it?" Faith asked.

"At the base," Brandon answered. They looked at him skeptically. Octavia smirked. "But Sabrina, Ariel and Faith would be a much more effective way of bypassing Sam past the Psychic walls in Ava's head to get to your Ava. If they slowly heal her while linking Sam to Ava's head, then you might have a chance of waking her up."

"So, Sow, Ariel and I get Dad into Mom's mind, and slowly and carefully heal her?" Faith asked. "And then she'll wake up?"

"Healing Ava once every couple of days should keep her in control," Brandon told them. "I can help with that, find a reversal spell if I can. But anymore than that could damage her completely, and you'll never see your Ava again."

"And what happens if we don't heal her every couple of days?" Sabrina asked.

"Then she'll get worse and worse until you lose her all the same," Brandon answered.

Ariel sighed. "Your people did this to her. You know how to undo it."

"You tell Ariel, Sow and me what we have to do to get Dad into Mom's mind to save her," Faith told him. "Please, Brandon."

Brandon nodded.

Men of Letters Temporary Base - Conference Room

Hess was looking at information for American hunters on the screens, including the Winchesters, Sage, Garth, Jody and Claire, while talking to a group of men, including Ketch. "Target lists will be distributed shortly. In Phase Two, there are no restrictions. Family members, bystanders. Don't leave witnesses. That will be all."

On the road, several hunter cars were driving toward the base.

Ketch walked toward a woman. "Paige, I need you to pull up the location of one of our assets."

They sat at a computer.

"Who?" Paige asked.

"Octavia," Ketch answered.

Paige typed on the computer, tracking Ava's phone. "She's in... Lebanon, Kansas."

Ketch sighed. "Of course. I'm bringing a team with me."

The Bunker - Library

Sabrina, Ariel and Faith appeared with Octavia, keeping her pinned easily in a chair, to the point where Octavia couldn't move a muscle. Sam, Ness, Amara and Brandon walked closer. Ness was holding Aiden. Aiden seemed to be getting a bit older already, which the others noticed, confused.

"What's happening to Aiden?" Ariel asked.

Octavia smirked. "Oh, I have the answer to that."

"What did Sow say about you not talking until we got our Mom back?" Ariel asked.

"Oh, but you'll definitely wanna hear this," Octavia told them. "Especially, Ness, Amara and Aiden."

"What are you talking about?" Ness asked.

"When I was trapped with the Brits, they told me why they wanted me to kill Aiden and Amara," Octavia answered. "They got intel from Crowley who learned the truth about what would happen to Amara and Aiden because of the Mark from Lucifer. They said that once Aiden and Amara were in a near death experience, like literally seconds away from dying, at the exact same moment, that there would be a link forged between them. And because of that link, Aiden would have to grow up to Amara's age because they're supposed to be twins and supposed to be the same age. And that would be the second that their true powers would have unleashed. Aiden's sense of evil? Amara's sense of when someone was lying to her? It was only the beginning." She looked around at the mess of the library. "And I'm guessing that they're linked and that's why this place is a mess. And that's why Aiden looks older than he did this morning. What happened to you when you felt like you were gonna die, Amara?"

Amara looked completely in shock.

"Amara?" Ness asked.

"The second explosion," Amara realized. "The second explosion after Dad fired the grenade launcher. I was in the wall, and I was about to be crushed, and all of us were almost out of air."

"You and Aiden were both on the brink of death," Sabrina realized.

"You were linked," Ariel told her.

"What kind of power do Aiden and Amara have now?" Faith asked.

Octavia shrugged, bored and annoyed, still frustrated with anger that she couldn't shake. "Don't ask me. I'm just the messenger. We could probably know soon when Aiden reaches Amara's age. And it might take a little while for Aiden to reach Amara's age. But it will happen sooner than you think."

"We'll figure the link out later," Ness told them. "I promise. Let's just focus on saving Ava right now."

"Brandon," Amara told him.

"Yeah," Brandon agreed, taking Ariel and Faith's hands, putting them on Sam and Octavia's heads, also placing Sabrina's hands on their shoulders. "Sam... Sabrina, Ariel and Faith will link your minds with Ava's, forming a Psychic link. But to enter her psyche will take a certain measure of concentration and skill."

"But Ariel and I don't know how to do that," Faith told them.

"That's why Sabrina's going to be helping you," Ness told them.

Octavia smirked sarcastically. "Ah. Well, Sabrina, Ariel and Faith are stronger than you imagine. You think that they won't be able to do this?"

"Do you?" Ariel asked. "Mom, do you think we'll save you?"

"I know that the people that turned me into this and put Brandon on the run don't want you to save me," Octavia answered. "And they like to have me think whatever they think. Want whatever they want. So. Sabrina. Ariel. Faith. Do you think you can save me? Or do you think that you'll be the ones to destroy me forever? Hmm?"

Sabrina waved a hand toward Octavia, making her stop talking again. "Until we get our real Aunt Ava back. No. Talking."

Sabrina let her eyes turn white and glow blue from within, placing her hands over Ariel and Faith's, holding their hands over Sam and Octavia's heads, keeping them focused and skilled, so that they would know what to do because she was teaching them how to do it. Ariel and Faith let their eyes glow white, following Sabrina's lead. Veins the same color as their eyes passed into Sam and Octavia's heads, making both of them fall asleep as Sabrina, Ariel and Faith linked his mind to hers.

Octavia's Mind Space

Night - The Bunker - Hallway

Sam appeared in the hallway, looking around in confusion, walking down the hall, checking all the rooms to find that they were empty and bare. "Ava? Ava, where are you? Ava. We gotta get out of here, okay? You need to come with me. Ava? Ava. Can you hear me? Ava. Ava!"

§

Men of Letters Temporary Base - Outside

Guards were guarding the base. The cars full of hunters drove toward the base full speed, the Impala leading the way, making the hunters dive out of the way before they could be run over, taking down the front gate. Dean, Catty and Mary got out of the Impala. Jody and Sage got out of Jody's Sheriff's truck. The other hunters got out of their cars.

"Sage, these guys you can kill," Catty told her.

Sage fired at a BMOL that tried to shoot them, killing him, watching him fall, spinning her gun in her hand, blowing the smoke away from the barrel, smirking. "Good to know."

Dean and Catty smirked.

§

Inside - Conference Room

An alarm was blaring.

Hess walked toward the security footage. "What is happening out there?"

"Perimeter's breached," Paige answered.

Hess looked angry. "Hunters. Gentlemen, ladies, you know what to do."

§

Outside

More guards made their way toward the hunters. Dean, Catty, Mary, Sage and Jody each shot one dead. There was rapid gunfire.

"Get down!" Dean told them. Everyone ducked. Sage shot the guard with the automatic gun dead, making him stop the rapid gunfire. The hunters stood. "Good Sage."

§

The Bunker - Aiden's Nursery

Amara and Ness were putting Aiden in his crib.

Brandon stood in the doorway. "You two thinking about what Ava said, about Amara and Aiden being linked, realizing their full power... you think that's true?"

"Ava believes it, that they're linked," Ness answered. "And we all saw what happened, Brandon. And look at this. Aiden is getting older, even if it's slowly, but... he's becoming Amara's age, and he'll be there sooner than we think."

"I feel it," Amara told them. "I didn't know what it was before, but I felt power surging through me. I thought it was just adrenaline at the time. But..."

"If it happened to Aiden, too, and with what Ava said, them being linked..." Ness trailed off.

Brandon nodded. "Yeah."

Ness sighed. "I'm gonna go check on Sam, Ava, Sabrina, Ariel and Faith."

"Okay," Amara told her.

They walked out of the nursery, closing the door. Aiden seemed to be getting more and more older.

§

Hallway

Brandon and Amara walked down the hallway together.

Amara managed a chuckle. "Hey, Brandon. You don't think I'm a freak now, do you? Now that I'm linked with my baby brother who will soon be the same age as me, both of us with powers?"

Brandon smirked, shaking his head. "No more than usual."

That got Amara to laugh. "Yeah. Thanks."

"We're all freaks, Amara," Brandon pointed out. "It's just up to us to decide how to deal with it."

They both smiled.

"Good point," Amara told him. Brandon looked down, distant. Amara knew why, looking at him knowingly, sympathetically. "I never got to ask you before. Are you okay?"

"With being on the run?" Brandon asked. "Or with my father being dead for a while now? Without me knowing until recently?"

"Both," Amara answered. "All. Brandon, you've been there for me in ways that no one but my family has been there for me. And I just wanna do the same for you."

"You have been doing the same, Amara," Brandon told her.

"Yeah, nightmare-victims bonding?" Amara asked. "Continuously saving each other's lives? You apologized for your organization nearly making me kill myself. If you want me to help you get revenge for your father, I'm all for it."

Brandon nodded. "Thank you." Amara nodded timidly, sympathetically. "But you have a lot more than just me to worry about right now. Considering that you and Aiden are linked now..."

"Yeah," Amara agreed. "But we can handle that. Like we handle everything. Together."

"We?" Brandon repeated.

"Yeah," Amara answered. "My family, me. And hopefully you, too. Even if you think that you don't have anything left... you still have us. You still have me."

Brandon managed a small smile, nodding. Amara chuckled lightly.

Octavia's Mind Space

Night - The Bunker - Library

Sam finally found Octavia in the library of the Bunker, walking toward her. "Ava."

Octavia looked up, sighing. "I'm not sure of what's real anymore, Sam. I don't know if what's happening is real, or if it's.... just some vision they're using to break me. Like they have been doing for months."

Sam sighed worriedly and sadly, sitting next to Ava at the table. "It's real." Octavia nodded, having expected that answer, angry at herself and the British Men of Letters and Angels for doing this to them, but devastated while she was still furious. "Sow, Ariel and Faith are linking our minds so I can see you. Something Brandon taught them to do. So I can try to bring you out of here."

"I've been trying to fight, Sam," Octavia told him. "For months, I've been fighting with everything I have. Everything--"

"Hey, it's not your fault," Sam told her. "Everything that's happening... a spell like this... it's controlling you. I get it. Lucifer was able to enslave Death himself, remember? So were me, Dean, Catty, Ness and Bobby, within seconds. And Crowley and Balthazar were able to enslave Cas. So there's no way that you should be blaming yourself for what's happening out there."

Octavia stood angrily, pacing. "I'm not blaming myself. I'm blaming them. If I ever wake up, I'm going to kill them all myself."

Sam stood, standing in front of her. "Ava. Ava, hey. I know you're angry. Furious. I know it's what the spell is turning you into, but we can save you. I promise you that."

"Even if Sabrina, Ariel and Faith heal me a little at a time, so that they don't destroy me forever, it's not a cure, Sam," Octavia told him. "I'll still have to deal with this every day for however long it takes for this to finally be gone."

Sam nodded sadly in understanding. "I know. I know that you'll still feel this anger that they forced in you, this rage, but we can help you control it. Until Brandon finds a way to undo it all."

"What if he can't?" Octavia asked. "What if I'm stuck like this forever?"

"I don't believe that," Sam told her. "I can't believe that. Whatever's going through your head, even if it takes months to get rid of, Ariel, Faith and me, we will always find a way to bring you back. You always come back to me, Ava. Don't stop now. Please."

Octavia looked at Sam with tears in her eyes, furious but devastated.

Reality

Day - The Bunker - Library

Sabrina, Ariel and Faith were still linking Sam and Octavia's minds. Ness was watching them. Amara and Brandon walked in. Sam had a tear falling, while Octavia had tears burning in her eyes. Sabrina, Ariel, Faith, Ness, Amara and Brandon heard the front door opening, looking up. Ketch, Watt, Barclay and other BMOLs walked in, aiming guns at them.

Ariel and Faith rolled their eyes. "No."

"Oh, yes," Watt told them.

Ness looked at Watt and Barclay. "You know, Ava, Amara and I've been waiting for a chance to fight you after you two and Toni held us captive for a few days and tortured us. And after what we learned now about my children nearly getting killed and then linked because of you guys, you're all gonna die."

Ness slammed Watt's gun against the table to make her drop it, punching her in the face, spinning to kick her in the chest, making her back away.

Amara picked up a book to throw at Barclay, knocking the gun out of her hands, running closer to kick her in the stomach, making her fall back into a shelf of books, making her and the shelf fall over.

Brandon drew his gun to fire at Ketch. Ketch took cover.

The rest of the BMOLs with them ran toward Sabrina, Ariel and Faith, who didn't take their hands away from Sam and Octavia's heads while they were still linking their minds, using their power to throw the Brits through the air toward the war room, making them fall to the ground. The Brits all started to fire their guns at Sabrina, Ariel, Faith, Sam and Octavia.

Ariel and Faith had to let go so that they could shield Sam from being shot and killed, breaking the connection accidentally to save their father's life. "No!"

Sabrina sighed in exasperation. "Damn it." She looked at the Brits. "If Uncle Sammy and Aunt Ava are trapped in there forever because of you, I'm going to burn you all down."

"Why don't we go ahead and do that anyway?" Faith asked.

Ariel nodded. "Sounds good to me."

Octavia's Mind Space

Night - The Bunker - Library

When the connection broke, Sam and Octavia felt the Bunker shake around them violently.

"What's happening?" Sam asked.

"Ketch," Octavia answered. "He and the other Brits are going after Ariel and Faith, Sabrina, Ness, Aiden, Amara and Brandon. They're trying to stop them from saving us."

"If Sabrina, Ariel and Faith don't have a connection to us anymore, how do we get out of here?" Sam asked.

Octavia sighed shakily, shaking her head. "I don't know."

Night - Men of Letters Temporary Base - Outside

The hunters were placing explosives on the doors. Sage had the trigger switch, pressing it to make the door explode off, smirking at the sight and sound of the explosion.

Inside - Hallway

Dean threw a smoke grenade toward the Brits to block the hunters from their view. "Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go."

Dean, Catty, Mary, Sage and Jody and the other hunters made their way inside, taking cover from gunshots while firing their own.

"Go!" Catty told them. "Hurry! Hurry!"

Dean, Catty and Mary made their way down one hallway to shoot at the British firing at them, killing them.

Sage, Jody, Walt and Roy made their way down another hallway, taking cover and firing shots. Sage slid over a stairwell landing to fire up at the Brit on the balcony above, killing him, sitting up.

Octavia's Mind Space

Night - The Bunker - Library

Octavia was pacing, trying very hard not to lash out as she tried to find a way to wake up since Sabrina, Ariel and Faith no longer had a connection to their minds while they were fighting off the Brits with Ness, Amara and Brandon.

Sam walked closer, trying to help her wake up. "Look, I know that they messed with your head in ways that I can't even imagine. Okay? I know you couldn't tell what was real or what was fake anymore. But I know you're telling the difference right now."

"Because of what Sow, Ariel and Faith were doing to try to wake me up," Octavia told him. "They're the reasons why I know what's real now."

"I know," Sam told her. "And we don't have a lot of time. I need you to come with me, and to wake up." Octavia sighed heavily, looking away. Sam walked closer, taking her chin to turn her head to look at him. "Ava, look at me. It's gonna be okay. Okay? You just have to wake up."

"I'm trying, Sam," Octavia told him. "But without Sabrina, Faith and Ariel keeping the connection... What the British and the Angels did to me sent me so far back..."

Sam nodded in agreement and understanding. "I know. It took a while for me to find you back here. I had to dig deep. I know that I can help you wake up. That Sabrina, Ariel and Faith can heal you. Even if they have to do it bit by bit so they don't make it worse."

"And the anger is going to grow if they don't heal me the right way, Sam," Octavia told him. "The bloodlust... the way I've killed..."

"That wasn't you," Sam told her reassuringly, taking Octavia's hands. "I know that wasn't you. And so do Faith and Ariel. All of them. Come on, Ava. I know it's hard. But I believe that you can come back to us."

Reality

The Bunker - Library

The fight between Ness, Amara, Sabrina, Ariel, Faith and Brandon, vs. the Brits continued.

"Oh, what?" Ketch asked. "Thought you'd get 'Ava' back? Sorry. Not how this ends." Faith snapped her fingers, making two Brits fall dead instantly. "This ends with me ending at least one of you."

"And then Ariel, Faith and I'll just bring them back, you poor, stupid son of a bitch," Sabrina told him. "All of you have got a death wish, don't you?"

"Actually, we're just trying to wake Octavia up and make her take control over the three of you, Sabrina," Ketch  told her.

Faith tilted her head skeptically, glaring at them angrily in hate for doing this to her family. "That's not gonna happen."

Ness grabbed the fallen scitar that had fallen when Amara knocked over the bookshelf, using it to stab Barclay in the chest, pushing her body down.

Amara kicked Watt in the back of the knee, punching her in the face, making her fall, shooting her in the head.

"We're gonna kill you," Ariel told them. "All of you."

"Then show us who the Winchesters really are," Ketch told them.

"Gladly," Ness told them, shooting down two more Brits.

Ariel twisted her wrist, snapping two Brits' necks, letting them fall dead.

Sabrina waved her hand to turn two Brits into particles that floated and faded out of existence.

Amara took cover behind the bookcase before she could be shot by another. Brandon shot that one dead. Amara shot the Brit behind Brandon before he could be shot.

Ketch tried to shoot Brandon. Brandon used his gun to push Ketch's gun aside, punching him in the face twice. Ketch tried to punch Brandon. Brandon caught his arm, twisting it to push him to his knees, punching him in the face, making him fall.

Sabrina, Ariel and Faith killed two Brits each with a wave of their hands, making them fall dead with flashes of light.

Ness pushed a Brit's gun aside, making it go off, kneeing him in the stomach, pushing him to the floor. The Brit stood, elbowing Ness in the face. Ness kicked him in the stomach, punching him in the face, tackling him to the floor, shooting him dead.

A Brit tried to shoot Amara. Amara punched him in the throat, making him clutch at his neck and gasp for breath, kicking him in the crotch, making him fall to his knees, hitting him in the head with her gun, shooting him, pushing him down. Another Brit tried to shoot Amara from behind. Amara looked at him, and without realizing what she did, the gun flew out of his hand into the wall, falling to the floor. Amara realized that she had caused the gun to fly out of his hand, smirking smugly, spinning to kick that Brit in the chest, holding her hand toward him, focusing intently to push him down to the floor with her newfound power of the link forged between her and Aiden, to the surprise of everyone.

Amara shot the Brit in the head, looking at her hands as she got used to the feeling of having an active power. "Yeah. I could get used to this."

Men of Letters Temporary Base - Conference Room

The hunters were still taking out the Brits. Dean, Catty and Mary were shooting out four running Brits. A Brit on the balcony above them tried to shoot the three Winchesters. Sage kicked the gun out of his hand, punching him in the face, snapping his neck, throwing him over the railing to the ground below, making his body land on the glass table in front of Dean, Catty and Mary, making the glass shatter loudly. Dean, Catty and Mary looked up at Sage in surprise. Sage smirked, giving them a thumbs up. Dean, Catty and Mary chuckled. Sage shot out four more Brits.

Brandon pushed himself up, punching Ketch in the face, lifting him up to hit him again. "Ah. This is more fun than I thought it would be."

Ketch glared, trying to tackle Brandon, but Brandon flipped Ketch onto the table behind him, making it break and Ketch fall to the ground.

Sabrina, Ariel and Faith killed three more Brits with their power, who were trying to distract them from Sam and Octavia.

Hess was trying to get into her office. Jody grabbed her shoulder from behind. Hess elbowed her in the face, running into her office, locking the door. Dean, Catty, Mary and Sage ran closer to Jody.

"I got this," Mary told them, pulling out more explosives.

Dean, Catty, Sage and Jody stood nearby Mary as she helped set up the explosives.

Octavia's Mind Space

Night - The Bunker - Library

Octavia was breathing heavily as she was trying to wake up, holding her head, tears of anger and pain stinging her eyes as she looked at Sam. "What if I hurt you? What if I hurt Faith and Ariel, Sabrina? Anyone in our family?"

"You're not going to," Sam told her.

"It's not just about what they wanted me to do to our family, Sam," Octavia told him. "It's what they had me do to hunters. What they want me to do to Lucifer's children. They want me to kill them just like they wanted me to kill those hunters. Like they wanted me to do to you, Dean, Catty, Ness, Cas, Levi, Brandon. To Aiden and Amara." She remembered, horrified. "Oh, my God. Aiden and Amara. They're linked now. I almost killed Amara and Aiden."

"Ava, you didn't," Sam told her. "You powered through."

"Barely," Octavia told him. "Those thoughts and the anger aren't going to go away easily."

"But you know what you want, and what you don't want," Sam told her. "You can tell the difference between the two, right?" Octavia nodded barely. "It'll be hard to fight it until Sabrina, Ariel and Faith heal the damage away, or until Brandon finds a cure for both you and the link, which will take a while, but you and I both know that whatever came our way, whatever will still come, that we can fight it, together. I know it's not going to be easy to get you back to the way you were before all of this. But I'm telling you, I'm staying with you, and I'm doing everything that I can to help you, in whatever shape you're in. Whoever you are. You're not going to hurt me, Ava. And you're not going to hurt Faith and Ariel. Amara or Aiden. Or anyone. And whatever happens with Lucifer's kids, we'll deal with that together. You don't have to hurt anyone anymore."

Sam and Octavia were both crying at this point, breathing shakily.

"How do you know that I won't?" Octavia asked.

"Because even in your darkest place, you're still Ava," Sam answered. "The Ava that I was with when I didn't have a soul. The Ava that I loved and lost and went through hell after you died, seeing a hallucination Ava that got me through the after effects of what happened when the Hell Wall in my head crumbled to ash, the one that protected me from visions of Lucifer. The Ava that came back from the dead twice and I felt more alive each time she did. The Ava that I fell in love with, the Ava that I had children with. The Ava that I went against the Devil and the Darkness to save. The Ava that I married. The Ava that I love."

Octavia was getting stronger and more determined with everything he was saying, nodding. "I love you, Sam. Everything that I did in the past, saving you from the Devil more than once, the Darkness, Angels and Demons... I did it because I love you. I did everything, Sam."

Sam nodded, tears in his eyes. "Yeah, you did. Ava, now the only thing left to do is wake up. I need you to fight. Right now, I need you to fight. I know you're fighting, but what you need to do now is wake up. I know you can wake up even without Sabrina, Ariel and Faith's help. Because if you don't wake up, we'll both be trapped here, maybe forever. And I know that you won't let that happen, Ava. So please wake up. Come back to us."

Octavia nodded, breathing shakily as Sam and Ava held each other's arms, focusing everything she had on Sam, Ariel and Faith to wake up. A light appeared around Sam and Octavia, surprising them as they looked around, looking at each other as if they knew that it meant they were about to wake up.

Reality

Night - The Bunker - Library

Sabrina, Ariel and Faith were almost finished with killing the Brits so they could tend to Sam and Octavia, while Amara, Ness and Brandon fought hand to hand.

The fight continued. Amara grabbed a broken table leg from the floor, using it to hit a Brit in the head twice, trying to hit him again. The Brit ducked to the side to make her miss, using the table leg to push Amara against the wall, having it against her throat and chest. Amara was learning how to use her new power, a little hard to do at first but getting easier, telekinetically pushing the table leg away from her, making it hit the Brit in the head, making him reel back, using her power to ram it into his stomach twice, hitting him in the face with it, making him fall, his face extremely bloody.

Ness pushed a Brit into the wall, punching him in the face twice, turning around to throw him to the floor. The Brit aimed a gun at Ness. Ness turned to push the gun out of his hands, making it fall to the floor, kicking the Brit in t he knee, making him groan in pain, punching him in the face, pushing him toward the others, punching him in the chest, then the face again, pushing him onto a mirror on the wall behind him, making the glass shatter.

Amara and Ness shot the two Brits they were fighting to kill them.

Brandon kicked Ketch to the floor, shooting four more Brits dead.

Sabrina looked at Ketch. "When you left them alone in the Bunker, when you brainwashed Aunt Ava to try to control me, Ariel and Faith, man, I knew you were psycho. But I didn't think you were stupid."

"I may be many things..." Ketch trailed off, standing, aiming his gun at Brandon. "But I'm not stupid."

"Tell that to Ariel's and my mom and dad when they wake up," Faith told him. "And I guarantee Mom's gonna be furious."

The last Brit alive was the one that cast the spell on Octavia all those months. Sam and Octavia woke up to see all of this. Seeing the sight of Ketch and the Brit that cast the spell on her was enough to bring back all of the rage and anger that still wouldn't leave Octavia even though she was in complete control of herself.

Octavia stood, standing, picking up her Angel Sword, stabbing it through the back of the Brit that had cast the spell on her, making him yell out in agony, taking it out, pushing him down, watching him bleed out and die in front of her in satisfaction. "I told you that you would be the first person I killed once I got free."

Ness, Amara, Sabrina, Ariel and Faith looked at her in relief, saying "Ava", or in the twins' case "Mom" at the same time.

Faith looked at Ketch. "Told you."

Ketch chuckled. "Octavia. Awake and alive." Ariel and Faith walked around Ketch, the last one left alive, to stand next to Sam and Octavia. Sabrina, Ness, Amara and Brandon stood on the other side of Ketch. Ketch looked between them. "I knew you were a killer. You all are."

Ariel and Faith nodded. "You're right."

"Honor is all yours, Brandon," Amara told him.

Brandon shot Ketch in the head, killing him for Mick, his father. Everyone watched as Ketch's body fell, relieved that it seemed to be finally over.

Men of Letters Temporary Base - Hess' Office

Hess paced anxiously, speaking over speakerphone. "Whatever it takes. Open a portal. Just get me the hell out of here."

A man's voice was on the computer speakerphone. "I'm afraid we don't have the resources for an extraction at this moment."

An explosion took the door off, allowing Dean, Mary, Catty, Sage and Jody to storm into the room with their guns aimed at Hess. Hess reached for her gun.

"Don't!" Dean told her. "Don't."

Hess raised her hands. "Listen."

"You must be Hess, I trust," Catty told her. "You're in charge of this whole operation?"

Sage chuckled, tilting her head smugly. "Or, uh, what's left of it."

"Dean, Catty, you might think it in your best interest to kill me, to end all of this here," Hess told them. "Or have your soulless friend Sage Sanders here do it for you." Sage, Dean and Catty nodded in agreement. "But shooting me now, severing all ties with the British Men of Letters, at this particular moment, that would be a grievous mistake."

"I doubt it," Dean told her.

"There are reasons to reconsider," Hess told him. "Things you don't know. Like your own children, Aiden and Amara, Dean. The way that the Mark has effected them. Octavia has been told, but you haven't."

Hess put two files on the desk in front of them. Dean looked through the one that was describing what was happening to Aiden and Amara.

Catty looked through the other, seeing pictures of Lucifer walking out of Crowley's Asylum. "What are these?"

"Lucifer is back," Hess answered. "Yes, Catty. All thanks to your old enemy Crowley. Not that it did him much good. Crowley's dead." Dean and Catty looked at her in surprise and disbelief. "And the Devil is out looking for his sons, following in their mother's footsteps, tracking her and your husband, Catty, Castiel, and your daughter Sabrina's boyfriend Levi. If Lucifer gets his hands on those children, they'll be unstoppable. Not even your precious Sabrina, Ariel and Faith could stop them if the Devil and his two Archangel Nephilim were together. You can't face that alone. You need us."

The man's voice from the computer spoke up. "Listen to her, kids."

Dean and Catty knew not to trust them. Mary, Jody and Sage looked at them, waiting for their response.

"You're underestimating Sabrina, Ariel and Faith," Dean told them. "And trust me, after already doing what you did to Ava... that's your last mistake."

"So pass," Catty told them.

Dean shot the computer to destroy it.

Hess glared. "You bastards."

"Sage," Catty told her.

Hess grabbed her gun to aim at Jody. Sage shot Hess in the head before she could shoot Jody. Hess' body fell into the wall, sliding to the floor, leaving a bloody smear on the wall. Sage smirked, lowering her gun.

The hunters all drove away as the temporary base exploded into flames, destroying everything inside.

The Bunker - Library

Sam and Octavia were cleaning up after the fight.

"Well, Ness and Amara are in Aiden's nursery with Dean, explaining about the link and that Aiden will soon be in teenage years," Sam told her. "Lucky us. Mom, Catty, Sabrina and Brandon are getting rid of the bodies."

"All of this is because of me," Octavia told him.

Sam shook his head, walking closer. "No, it's not. Sabrina, Ariel and Faith healed you a little bit, so you're calmer and you're in more control over yourself. I told you that we could save you."

"What happens when the anger gets too bad again in the next few days?" Octavia asked.

"Then Sow, Ariel and Faith will heal you a little bit more," Sam answered. "And then again, and again, and again, until they don't need to anymore, or until Brandon finds you a cure, and a cure for the link, and you're yourself again."

"It could take months before that happens, Sam," Octavia told him.

"I know," Sam told her. "But you're you now, at least for the moment. You're not consumed with rage. You're calm. Right?"

"For the most part," Octavia answered. "I'm just scared of hurting you. Or them. I can't hurt you, Sam. Or Faith and Ariel. Or anyone. Not again."

Sam nodded understandingly with tears in his eyes, pulling Octavia into his arms. They relaxed in the embrace for a long moment, where Ava could finally calm down for a moment, for the first time in a long time not feeling the unending rage, though she knew the anger would be back. They pulled away, looking at each other sadly. Sam kissed her reassuringly and passionately. Octavia returned the kiss for a moment. They pulled away when they heard Ariel and Faith walk in.

"You don't have to be scared, Mom," Ariel told her.

"We're not going to let you hurt anyone," Faith told her.

"And we know you're not going to hurt us," Ariel told her.

Octavia looked at them in relief, tears in her eyes. "Ariel. Faith. You, Sabrina and Sam saved me. Thank you."

Ariel and Faith walked toward Sam and Octavia to embrace both of them in relief. Sam held all of them close protectively. Dean, Ness and Amara walked in with Aiden, along with Catty and Sabrina. Sam, Octavia, Ariel and Faith looked at them.

"Welcome back, Aunt Ava," Sabrina told her.

Octavia managed a small sad smile. "It's good to be back."

Dean, Ness, Amara, Catty and Sabrina embraced Octavia in turn. Octavia looked at Aiden and Amara, tears in her eyes because of the thought that she was almost forced to kill them.

Aiden smiled. "Aunt Ava."

They all smiled and laughed at this. Aiden reached for Octavia. Octavia was surprised but extremely grateful.

Ness nodded reassuringly. "It's okay."

Octavia took Aiden to hug him. Aiden returned the hug, smiling. They all smiled emotionally, knowing it was going to be a while before it was all good again, but knowing that it was good for the moment.
