chapter 12 - Stuck in the Middle (With You)

Outfits in the external link

From 12.08 "LOTUS", outside the bunker, Brandon shot a grenade launcher at the SUV. Everyone ducked or ran for cover, with Castiel covering Catty for safety, Dean covering Ness and Amara, and Sam covering Octavia (before Ava got her Grace back). Except for Sabrina and Levi, who just stood there and watched the explosion quizzically, curiously and in amusement, watching the flames.

Amara looked at Brandon. "I'm sorry. Who the hell are you?"

Brandon smirked. "Brandon Davies. British Men of Letters."

THEN

From 12.08 "LOTUS", outside the bunker, the Winchesters and Levi were talking to Brandon.

"Was that a grenade launcher?" Amara asked.

"Quite," Brandon answered. "We're eager to collaborate. You haven't exactly seen us at our best."

From 12.01 "Keep Calm and Carry On" and 12.02 "Mamma Mia", there were flashes of Toni, Watt and Barclay torturing Ness, Octavia and Amara, or fighting Sam, Dean, Catty and Sabrina.

Levi: (voice over from 12.08 LOTUS) "She tried to kill Ava, Ness and Amara. And sent lackeys to stall me, Sabrina, Catty, Cas, Sam and Dean."

From 12.08 "LOTUS", outside the bunker, the Winchesters and Levi were talking to Brandon.

"And all you wanna do is help these American hunters to clear this country of monsters?" Castiel asked.

Brandon nodded. "We can offer expertise, weaponry, skills."

Amara looked at Brandon's arsenal, impressed, curious. "Cool."

Brandon looked at Amara, impressed with her curiosity, nodding in agreement. "The toys are the fun part, hmm?"

From 11. 14 "The Vessel", outside the bunker, Levi held the Ark of Covenant in both hands in front of him, one hand beneath the other. It started to glow gold. The power entered his body, visible from beneath his skin. Levi started to illuminate with bright white light. He held his hand toward Octavia/Lucifer. It started to glow with bright white light. The bright white light enveloped everything.

From 11.15 "Beyond the Mat", in Crowley's lockup, the power of the Rod of Aaron was absorbed into Crowley. Crowley started to illuminate with bright white light. He threw the bright white light toward Octavia/Lucifer and Simmons. Simmons jumped in front of Octavia/Lucifer to take the blow herself, disintegrating into nothing. The blast was powerful enough to throw Octavia/Lucifer into the wall outside of the storage unit, making them fall to the floor.

From 2.22 "All Hell Breaks Loose: Part 2", in the cemetery, Catty used the Colt to shoot Azazel in the heart, killing him.

From 10.01 "Black", in the cornfield, Ness drove the First Blade into the Demon's stomach, killing him with a flash of light.

From 10.20 "Angel Heart", outside the farmhouse, Octavia twirled her Angel Sword in her hand, driving it into Tamiel's heart, killing him, making him flash with bright white light.

From 12.08 "LOTUS", in Jefferson's room, Jefferson/Lucifer's eyes glowed red.

Amara: (voice over from 12.08 LOTUS) "So you're gonna pop Lucifer out of the President with that?"

From 12.08 "LOTUS", in the Bunker, Ness took out the Hyperbolic Pulse Generator out of a cloth bag.

Catty clapped her hands. "Sabrina uses that and her Hybrid power to exorcise Lucifer."

From 12.08 "LOTUS", in the motel room, Sabrina was starting to glow with the Generator, shooting a ray of white light into Jeff/Lucifer's chest, driving him away. A strong wind was created by the power, strong enough to make everyone have to struggle to stay in place. Levi helped Sabrina keep a hold of the Generator. Rowena cast her spell, making flames erupt from the bowl. Lucifer's Grace was exorcised from Jeff's body.

Catty: (voice over from 12.08 LOTUS) "Then Rowena zaps him back to the Cage with the 'Book of the Damned' spell."

From 12.08 "LOTUS", in the motel room, Sabrina touched Kelly, backing away, startled. "That's a lot more power for just one. It was like when I felt the power from Aunt Octavia when she was pregnant with Ariel and Faith, but... stronger. Like the feeling I got when I found out Aunt Ness was having twins, Aiden and Amara."

Dean sighed, rolling his eyes, putting his hand against his head. "Two."

From 12.09 "First Blood", in the diner, Mick and Brandon were sitting at their table with Mary.

"Let me paint you a picture of a world where no one has to die because of the supernatural," Brandon told her.

Mary leaned forward, resting her crossed arms on the table. "I'm listening."

Arthur Ketch carefully measured a spoonful of sugar and stirred it into his tea. "So." He took a drink, looking across the table. "Tell me a story."

(Song:) Lover Boy - Toodlum Barker & Emil Lomax (Extreme Music)

The Winchesters, including Mary and little Aiden, and Levi were sitting around a couple tables put together, ordering dinner from a waiter. Dean was feeding Aiden and bouncing him around on his knee, making the two year old giggle and laugh.

"Yeah, I'll go with the cheeseburger," Catty told him.

Ness had her laptop out. "Hey. What's the, uh, WiFi password here?"

"Extra cheese," the waiter answered.

Catty thought that he was talking about the cheeseburger. "No, no. Just, uh, as it is, is fine."

"That's the password," the waiter told them. "Extra cheese."

Catty nodded awkwardly in understanding. Ness typed the password into her computer to get into the WiFi.

"You know what?" Dean asked. "That sounds good. I'm gonna change mine to a cheeseburger as well. Extra cheese. I wanna carbo-load."

Amara and Ness said at the same time, "Cheese isn't a carb," the same time Castiel, Octavia and Levi said, "Cheese isn't a carbohydrate."

Ariel smiled. "Mm, well."

The waiter looked at Ariel, smiling. Ariel was oblivious to the fact that he was flirting with her.

"Steak and eggs," Faith told him.

"Same," Sabrina told him.

The waiter looked at Ariel. "And how about you, pretty?"

Sam had the overprotective father look. "What?"

Ariel looked up awkwardly. "Um, uh..." She looked at the menu. "Sunrise Special, please."

The waiter smiled. "Nice."

The waiter walked away.

Amara looked at Ariel in amusement. "Looks like someone has a crush on you."

"Mm-hmm," Sabrina agreed, smirking teasingly. "At least this time I can help Amara tease Ariel. Instead of Amara just teasing me about Levi."

They smiled.

Sam was looking at the waiter. "And maybe he and I should have a talk when he gets back."

Octavia chuckled, shaking her head. "Sam..."

"What?" Sam asked.

"I thought the overprotective dad thing was Dean and Cas' thing," Octavia told him.

"No, Ava, the overprotective dad thing is an all dads thing," Sam told her.

They all smiled.

"No, Dad," Ariel told him. "Don't make this like what Uncle Dead did to the guy at Waldos for flirting with Amara."

They chuckled.

"No, this is good," Amara told them. "Ariel and Faith have been looking for teachable moments. And the first time a guy flirts with Ariel is definitely a teachable moment."

They chuckled. Mary's phone vibrated, beeping. She took it out to look at.

"Everything all right, Grandma Mary?" Faith asked.

"Yeah, just a hunter who needs help," Mary told them. "I had Ness give me some hunter names so that I could meet a few of them. You know, you can't have too many friends in this line of work."

"True," Ness told her. "And whenever you need to know more hunter names, you know who to come to."

"Because Ness seems to know every hunter in this country," Castiel told her.

Ness smiled. "All right, the Internet here sucks. I downloaded all the Bunker's files to a new archive. But we're not getting any signal, so..."

Sabrina pretended to snore to tease Ness. "That's the way I feel everytime Aunt Ness launches into a brainiac monologue. Which is all the time."

Levi chuckled. "Sabrina..."

Catty smiled. "Imagine how we feel, Sow. We've been dealing with it a lot longer. Except for Dean, who loves it when Ness does that."

They smiled.

"Ariel, here's the thing you need to know about waiters, okay?" Dean asked. "They always find a new girl to hit on all day long. So you gotta steer clear."

Ariel looked embarrassed and trying not to show it.

Faith smiled. "Uncle Dean, you embarrassed Ariel."

"Dean, before you got together with Ness, how many times did you hook up with a waitress?" Catty asked. Dean opened his mouth as if to answer but stopped. "Exactly. Go easy on Ariel."

"Oh,Ava and  I trust Ariel and Faith," Sam told them. "I just don't trust the guys. Pretty sure Dean feels the same way about Amara. Catty and Cas don't have to worry about that with Sabrina because we all trust Levi since he's proved that he'll never let anyone hurt us. Especially not Sow."

Sabrina and Levi smiled, looking at each other. Catty and Castiel smiled small smiles, looking at from each other to Sabrina and Levi. Amara was laughing in amusement.

"It's good to see Amara actually smiling and laughing," Faith told them. "One upside to Amara going through the memory forget spell was that she learned that she needs to learn how to lighten up."

Ariel smiled. "And it's bad that Faith and I know that after growing up so recently."

"Shut up, Ariel," Amara told her.

They smiled.

Mary banged the table to get their attentions. "Hey. Screens down, eyes up, shut up."

"Sorry, Mary," Octavia told her.

Ariel nodded in agreement. "Sorry, Grandma."

"Okay, here's what we know," Mary told them. "Our target keeps a tight schedule. He leaves every day at 8:00 PM, and gets back exactly at 8:45."

"What's he doing?" Levi asked.

"According to this hunter that needs help, night fishing," Mary answered.

"Wait a minute," Castiel told her. "You called us to--to kill a Demon that likes to fish?"

"Yes, I did," Mary answered. "This hunter that called me for help, Wally? He's new to this, all right? He's more of a Rougarou hunter, but he was passing through and heard about some cattle mutilations."

"Classic Demon sign," Levi told them.

"He started to dig," Mary told them. "A lot of virgins go missing around here, too."

"Classic horny Demon sign," Dean told them.

"Which is why Wally called me, asking for help, which is why I called you," Mary told them. "So, are we all clear on the plan?"

They all nodded.

Levi saw that the waiter was coming back over. "Incoming."

The waiter came over to refill a coffee cup, leaning between Ariel and Faith to do it.

Octavia looked at the waiter's name tag. "Hey, Mason. My shy but brilliant and dangerous daughter Ariel over there was just wondering. If you would kindly leave her alone."

"She was wondering that, or the parents were wondering that?" Mason asked.

Ness chuckled. "Yeah, pretty much."

Faith, Sabrina and Amara stifled a laugh. "Yep."

Ariel was beyond embarrassed, putting her hands to her head. "God. Just kill me now."

Mason walked away.

Sabrina looked at Ariel, Faith and Amara, smiling. "You guys will be lucky if you ever get boyfriends if your parents keep scaring boys off like that."

Ariel, Faith and Amara nodded sarcastically, giving Sabrina a sarcastic look, causing the adults to smile in amusement.

"Hey, uh, Sow, you remember when Aunt Catty and Uncle Cas were this protective over you?" Amara asked.

"We never stopped being this protective," Castiel answered.

"Exactly," Faith told them.

They laughed.

"I understand the need to be overprotective of them being what family you come from," Levi told them. "What your family deals with every day. But Sabrina, Amara, Ariel and Faith can definitely take care of themselves."

"Sow, Ariel and Faith have the power to take on the world, yes," Octavia agreed. "And Amara is trained with hunting. You're right about that, Levi. But they are not trained for the world of heartbreak."

Sam pointed at Octavia, using her words against her, slightly altered. "Ava, I thought the overprotective mom thing was Ness and Catty's thing."

"No, Sam, the overprotect mom thing is an all moms thing," Catty told him.

They all chuckled, including Mary, who agreed. "Wow."

Ness smiled. "All right. Internet's up."

"We're in business," Sabrina told them.

Amara nodded. "Everything is gonna be fine."

Barn

(Song:) Walk With a Winner - Gene McDaniels

Amara and Mary were moving an injured Castiel and Levi to two couches, who were clutching bleeding wounds in their sides.

"Where's Catty?" Castiel asked. "Ava and Sam? Dean and Ness?"

"Sabrina, Ariel and Faith?" Levi asked.

Amara and Mary put them down, looking at them worriedly.

§

Outside

Demons were attacking Sam, Dean, Catty and Ness, who were fending them off with Angel Blades. Octavia was fighting a Demon with her Angel Sword, holding him off, distracting him. Ariel used her power to exorcise him so that they could send the Demon to Hell while saving the vessel, letting him fall unconscious.

A Demon smirked. "What a pleasure it is to fight Sam, Dean, Catty, Sabrina, Amara, Ariel and Faith Winchester. Ness Singer-Winchester. The Angels Octavia, Castiel and Levi. Too bad Castiel and Levi might die tonight."

Sabrina, Ariel and Faith used their powers to throw the Demons into the walls of the house. Ness picked up a glass vase, shattering it against a Demon's head, spinning around to kick the Demon through a railing, making the railing shatter and the Demon fall to the ground. Sabrina, Ariel and Faith were beating the Demons, using their combined power to exorcise three Demons each at once, making the Demon smoke swirl around them, making them duck as the smoke was sent to Hell, and the vessels fell unconscious to the ground.

Ness looked toward the edge of the property, seeing that the hunter named Wally was about to be killed by a Demon and that he was trying to stab her with a knife. "Wally? Is that a--No!"

Before the Demon could kill Wally, Octavia appeared next to them,  slitting her Angel Sword into the Demon's back, making him stop. Faith held her hand toward the Demon, using her power to exorcise him, sending the Demon to Hell, letting the vessel fall to the ground. Once all the Demons were exorcised and the vessels were saved, Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness, Octavia, Sabrina, Ariel and Faith looked at each other, breathing heavily, catching their breath.

The Wounded Angels

Earlier That Day

Day Care - Outside

The Winchesters were meeting up outside the day care, getting out of their cars that were parked outside, which included the Impala, Catty's Mustang, Octavia's Camaro. Dean, Ness, Amara and Aiden had been in the Impala. Catty, Castiel, Sabrina and Levi had been in Catty's Mustang. Sam, Octavia, Ariel, Faith and Mary had been in Octavia's Camaro. Wally got out of his car, walking toward the Winchesters.

Faith smiled. "All right, once we get Aiden inside and down for the count, we'll be in business."

Ariel nodded. "Yeah, Aiden will be fine until we pick him up."

"Sam, Dean, Catty," Mary told them, gesturing to Wally. "Wally."

"Hi," Sam told him.

Wally shook Sam, Dean and Catty's hands.

"Hi," Catty told him.

"These are my kids," Mary told him.

Wally hugged Ness, smiling. "Nessie!"

Ness smiled, pulling away. "Hey, Wally."

Dean gestured to Amara. "This is Ness's and my daughter, Amara." He held up Aiden. "This is our son Aiden."

Aiden smiled, waving. "Hi."

"Hey, little big man?" Dean asked. "Aiden." Aiden looked at Dean. "What's your name?"

"What?" Aiden asked.

"Name," Dean answered. "What's your name, Aiden?"

Aiden smiled, laughing. "Aiden!"

They all smiled and laughed at how cute Aiden was.

Catty turned to Castiel and Sabrina, smiling, wrapping an arm around either of them. "My husband Cas. Cas' and my daughter Sabrina."

Castiel nodded. "Sabrina's boyfriend Levi. Sam's wife Ava. Sam and Ava's daughters Ariel and Faith."

"Nice to meet you," Levi told him.

"Same to all of you," Wally told them.

"Aunt Ness and Grandma Mary said a lot of good things about you," Sabrina told him.

"Yeah, right back at you guys," Wally told them. "Mary's real proud of all of you."

"Thanks for coming," Mary told them. "I know you're busy."

"Well, not really," Faith told them.

"Yeah, no luck with Lucifer's kids," Ariel told them.

"No, there's gotta be someone protecting Kelly Kline," Octavia told them. "Someone that knows how to ward against Sow, Ariel and Faith's powers of finding people."

"Lucifer's kids?" Wally repeated. "That's a joke, right? The..." The family and Levi looked at him seriously. "It's not a joke."

Aiden smiled, giggling.

"All right, ramblers," Dean told them. "Let's get Aiden inside."

"Then let's get rambling," Amara told them to tease Dean's voice.

Sabrina, Ariel and Faith laughed at the way that Amara teased Dean. Sam, Ness, Catty, Castiel, Octavia, and Levi smiled.

"Lucifer has kids," Wally told them.

There was a slow motion Reservoir Dogs style walk across the parking lot to show a closeup of each Sam, Octavia, Ariel, Faith, Catty, Castiel, Sabrina, Levi, Dean, Ness, Aiden, Amara and Mary walked up toward the building in a badass walk, while even Aiden was walking while holding Ness and Amara's hands.

§

Diner

The family and Levi were sitting at the table.

"Everyone is clear on the plan?" Levi asked.

Amara nodded. "At 10:45, Demon comes home. We will be waiting for him."

"Sabrina, Ariel and I hit him with a blast of power," Faith told them. "But we won't kill him right away."

"Faith's right," Ariel told them. "We still need answers to what's going on."

"Exactly," Sam told them.

Sabrina smiled. "At least Ariel and Faith are learning as fast as Amara and I did."

"Levi and I will be waiting at the back in case more Demons come in that way," Castiel told them.

Sabrina, Amara, Ariel and Faith smirked. "Cool."

"Once we meet up with Wally, what is he going to do?" Levi asked.

"Keeping lookout," Sam answered.

"Yes," Octavia agreed. "Wally's not adept to fighting upper level Demons. But he wants to be. Which is why he wants to come with."

Levi nodded in understanding. "Okay."

Amara nodded. "Everything is gonna be fine."

§

Night - Farmhouse - Living Room

The family, Levi and Wally were setting up their trap for the Demon they were waiting for, or the other Demons that were coming. Wally was keeping lookout.

Faith was looking around, confused. "Grandma Mary?" Mary walked out of the door behind Faith. Faith turned to face her. "Where were you?"

Mary sighed. "Bathroom. I get nervous sometimes."

Faith nodded. "I get it."

Ness' phone went off. She answered. "Wally?"

"Heads up, Ness," Wally told her. "He's coming back early."

Ness hung up quickly, nodding to the others. The Demon walking up to the house was named Ramiel. He was whistling Verdi's 'La donna e mobile'. The family and Levi were getting ready for Ramiel. Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness, Amara and Mary had their backs to different walls, holding their guns. Catty also had her Demon killing knife. Sabrina, Ariel and Faith readied to use their power. Octavia spun her Angel Sword. Castiel and Levi drew their Angel Blades. Ramiel walked in. Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness, Amara and Mary immediately shot Ramiel with their Devil's Trap bullets, but he was unfazed.

"You mind explaining why you broke into my house?" Ramiel asked. "I know it wasn't just to ruin the evening catch. Hunters." Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness, Amara and Mary continued to shoot Ramiel. Catty came up from behind Ramiel with her knife, stabbing him in the back, but it didn't do anything. Ramiel pushed Catty into the wall. They watched in shock as Ramiel pulled the knife out of his wound to examine it. "Well, that didn't work." Sabrina, Ariel and Faith raised their arms toward Ramiel, using their power to send him flying against the wall. Ramiel looked at Castiel, Octavia and Levi. "Angels." He looked at Ariel and Faith. "Nephilims." He looked at Sabrina. "The True Hybrid."

Sabrina elbowed Ramiel in the face, making him back away toward Ariel. Ariel spun around to kick Ramiel toward Faith. Faith used her power to send Ramiel flying into the kitchen.

§

Kitchen

Sabrina, Ariel, Faith and Octavia stalked in toward Ramiel. Ramiel stood. Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness, Amara, Mary, Castiel and Levi tried to walk toward them.

Ramiel used his powers to close the doors between them, letting his eyes turn yellow, looking at Sabrina, Ariel, Faith and Octavia. "Hiya, sweethearts."

Octavia threw her Angel Sword into his chest, but it didn't kill him, either, using her power to pull the Sword back into her hand. Sabrina used her powers to open the doors so that Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness, Amara, Mary, Castiel and Levi could run in. Castiel and Levi ran to tackle Ramiel. Sabrina looked toward the windows.

"Sabrina?" Castiel asked. "Sow, what is it?"

"Demons," Sabrina answered. "Dozens of them coming."

"And Wally's out there alone," Ariel told them worriedly.

"Sabrina, Ariel, Faith, go," Castiel told them.

Sabrina teleported them outside so they could fight the miniature army of Demons coming from outside.

§

Outside

Wally ran up to the family, minus Castiel, who was fighting Ramiel with Levi. "Guys, we got a problem."

"Yeah," Faith agreed. "We know. Demons incoming."

"Amara, Mom, get to Cas and Levi," Sam told them. "We got this. Go."

Amara and Mary ran away to get to Castiel and Levi, while the others fought off the Demons.

"You ready?" Ariel asked.

"Always ready for everything," Dean answered.

Faith and Ariel waved their hands toward a dozen Demons, using their power to throw them back through the air, making them fall. Sam, Dean, Catty and Ness shot them with their guns, stabbing them with Angel Blades. Octavia spun closer to the Demons to slash into them with her Angel Sword, wounding a lot of them. Sabrina raised her hands, letting them glow with bright white light so she could exorcise ten Demons without touching them, closing her fists to kill the Demon smoke, but save their vessels, letting them fall to the ground. Ariel released a silent sonic scream that threw Demons to the ground. Faith used her power to exorcise the Demons and send them to Hell. The vessels fell.

 §

Backyard

Castiel and Levi were wounded from fighting Ramiel because Ramiel had a weapon that was capable of hurting them, killing them even, using the spear like weapon to pierce them in the stomachs, making them scream.

Ramiel laughed. "Been a long time since I've seen Angels. But not long enough." Levi crawled away so that he could try to stand, pulling out his blade. "What do you think you're doing, huh?"

Levi threw his Angel Blade into Ramiel's chest but couldn't kill him.

Amara drove Ness' car closer to hit Ramiel, sending him flying away from Castiel and Levi. She got out of the car, running to help the wounded Angels. "Uncle Cas. Levi. Oh, my God."

Mary ran closer to help Amara help Castiel and Levi up. They looked around to see that Ramiel had disappeared.

"Where is he?" Levi asked.

"I don't know," Amara told them.

"Where is he?" Castiel repeated.

"Come on," Amara told them.

Mary and Amara ran to pull Castiel and Levi into the car to get them to safety.

§

Barn

Amara and Mary were moving an injured Castiel and Levi to two couches, who were clutching bleeding wounds in their sides.

"Can you heal yourselves?" Mary asked.

"We're trying," Levi told them. "Something's wrong."

"How bad is it?" Amara asked worriedly. They didn't get the chance to answer before Amara's phone rang. She turned away to answer. "Mom?"

The others were still outside the house, talking to them over speaker.

"Amara?" Ariel asked.

"Hey," Dean told her worriedly. "Where are you guys?"

"Barn down the road," Amara answered. "It looks abandoned."

Catty sighed, nodding. "Yeah. Okay."

"We're on the way," Ness told her.

"Are you guys okay?" Sabrina asked.

Mary was examining Castiel and Levi's wounds, which were bleeding heavily, who both closed their eyes in pain.

Amara looked at Castiel and Levi worriedly. "No."

  §

9:05 PM

Barn

Sabrina, Ariel and Faith teleported Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness and Octavia into the barn where Castiel, Amara, Levi and Mary were waiting.

"What the hell just happened?" Dean asked.

"Where's Wally?" Mary asked.

"Ava had to save his life," Sam told her.

Ness sighed. "So we had Sow send him home before he got hurt for real."

Sabrina saw the bad shape Castiel and Levi were in, horrified, running toward them. "Dad? Levi?"

Catty ran toward them. "Cas?"

"Dad, Mom, how did those other Demons know when to show up?" Ariel asked.

Sam shook his head worriedly. "I don't know, Ariel."

"The target," Mary told them. "Did you see--"

"No," Faith answered. "He brushed off almost everything we threw at him."

"Except the power of Ariel, Faith and Sow," Dean told them.

"Did you see his eyes?" Octavia asked.

"What?" Ness asked.

"They were yellow," Ariel answered. "He had yellow eyes."

"Like Azazel," Octavia told them. "That's why he's so strong."

Ness was in shock. "Mary... what the hell did you get us into?"

Sabrina was trying to heal Castiel and Levi, but the power of Ramiel's weapon was preventing her magic from healing them. "What the hell is happening? Why can't I heal them?"

Castiel was breathing heavily in pain and confusion. "Sow... I don't know."

Mother Mary

11 Hours Ago - 10:07 AM

(Song:) Not For Me - Bobby Darin

Mary and Wally were staking out Ramiel's house from their car across the street.

"That's him?" Wally asked. "That's the big bad Demon you need help with? Just some old guy."

"Technically, I'm in my 60's," Mary told him.

Wally didn't believe that. "Okay, then. Hell, what do I know?" He cleared his throat. "I've never gone after a Demon before. I don't even know why you called me."

"Because if my family thinks they're helping you and not me, they won't ask the wrong questions," Mary answered. "It's safer that way."

Wally nodded. "Right." Mary paged through documents. "You get those from your new limey friends? Them fancy Men of Letters?"

"I did," Mary answered.

"You trust them?" Wally asked. Mary looked up at him. "I--I just mean, I--I heard the sales pitch. Money, gear. It all sound swell, but someone walks up to you and offers you something that sounds a little too good to be true? I wonder, what's the catch?"

"Since I've been working with them, we've taken out more than a dozen Vamp nests, four Werewolf packs, and a Ghoul who was eating his way through Arlington," Mary told him. "We saved a lot of people."

"Right," Wally told her. "So you do trust them?"

Mary sighed. "Let's go."

Wally started the car. "Yeah."

8:23 PM

Farmhouse - Outside

The family, Levi and Wally were walking up to Ramiel's house.

"Doesn't appear to be warded," Castiel told them.

"Okay," Sam told them. "Let's get to work."

§

Inside

Dean, Ness and Amara were nearby the basement door, setting up for the fight later that night.

"Amara, are you sure this is what you wanted when you said that you wanted family hunting trips to try and get closer to all of us?" Dean asked. "I mean, this life can get a little too dangerous."

"Yeah, I know," Amara told them. "But, I mean, with all of us together, it means that we're not, uh, gambling our lives, so much, right? I mean, safety in numbers? Plus, Sabrina, Ariel and Faith can heal any and all damage. I have all of this information and stuff in my head, and at home, where we do nothing, I can't do anything with it, and..."

"And it can drive you crazy," Ness finished. "Yeah, I know."

"I just have to do something, so that I don't feel like I'm crazier than my already crazy enough family," Amara told them. "And, yeah, I wanna get closer to all of you, and this is our life." She looked at Dean. "I mean, how else are we gonna bond, when you're always on the road hunting, and we're always stuck back at the bunker with Aiden doing nothing?"

Dean sighed, nodding. "Yeah, you're right about that. But Ness and I just... never wanted this life for you and Aiden."

"Well, if Aiden and I weren't effected by the Mark, you could've raised us to do anything but this," Amara told them. "But because of the Darkness, because of the Mark, we all know that a normal life is pretty much impossible for me and Aiden now. Especially when even God Himself said that Aiden and I are more effected than we even realized before, but didn't go into detail, knowing that, you know, He's God. You can stop worrying me and Aiden."

"We're parents, so it's our job to worry, Amara," Ness told her.

Dean smiled, embracing Amara and Ness, kissing Ness on the head. "I'm gonna go help the others set up."

"Okay," Ness told him.

Dean walked away.

§

Basement

Mary had snuck into the basement, seeing it was filled with art and weapons, but she went to a painting of Michael. She removed it from the wall, finding a safe, using a Men of Letters device to crack the safe open, finding a box inside, opening it. There was an orangey glow. Mary removed what was inside, hiding it under her coat.

§

Living Room

Faith was looking around, confused. "Grandma Mary?" Mary walked out of the door behind Faith. Faith turned to face her. "Where were you?"

Mary sighed. "Bathroom. I get nervous sometimes."

Faith nodded. "I get it."

§

Later

There were snippets of the fights between the family and Levi and the Demons, ending with Ramiel stabbing Castiel and Levi with the spear like weapon.

§

9:03 PM

Barn

Sabrina, Ariel and Faith were still trying to heal Castiel and Levi while the others watched, but the spellwork on the weapon was preventing them from healing them.

Mary was standing nearby, texting someone with the contact name "Hobbits": What the hell did you do? The Demon had yellow eyes!

Hobbits: Wasn't us. Bad intel. You can't stay there. He will find you.

Levi groaned in pain. "Sabrina."

"Hey," Sabrina told them worriedly. "How are you feeling?"

"Hey," Sam told them. "Wow. You look like hammered crap."

"Yeah, that sounds about right," Castiel told them.

"Let's see," Catty told them. Catty and Sabrina lifted Castiel and Levi's shirts to reveal the wounds, rearing back in shock, reaching out to cover them again. "All right. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, hey, you know what? I've had worse."

"Oh, yeah?" Castiel asked. "When? Catty, something's wrong. Levi and I can't heal ourselves. Ava, Sow, Ariel and Faith can't heal us."

"I think the..." Levi trailed off weakly. "I think the Demon's s--spear was poisoned. I don't think... I--I think we're dying."

Octavia shook her head. "No. No, you just need some time, okay? You'll heal up the old fashioned way."

"Guys?" Sabrina asked. "Another Demon's coming." She looked up in annoyance. "But this one's not dangerous. Just annoying."

Crowley appeared behind them. "Very hilarious, Sabrina. You idiots. You're all going to die."

§

Catty was annoyed to see Crowley, rolling her eyes. "Well, this day just keeps getting better."

Ness stood, annoyed and exasperated. "Crowley?"

"You're him?" Ariel asked. "The King of Hell?"

"Mary, you must be Mother Winchester," Crowley told her. "And the two teenage girls other than Sabrina and Amara must be the teenaged Ariel and Faith Winchester. Pleasure. I've heard so much. I've actually seen Ariel and Faith as babies. Glad to see you older."

Crowley held out his hand for the twins to shake.

"Touch me and I'll kill you," Ariel told him.

"And you realize that Ariel only said that because we know what you did to our family in the past," Faith told him. "And you know that we can make sure you don't do anything like that again."

Sam and Octavia were impressed and proud with their response.

"I see Ariel and Faith are pure blooded Winchester no matter what species they are," Crowley told them. He looked at Castiel and Levi. "What's up with feathers?"

"What are you even doing here?" Dean asked. "How'd you find us?"

"Wait a second," Ness told him. "The Demons. They were yours."

"Obviously," Crowley answered.

"They almost killed our friend," Sam told him.

"Your friend was stupid," Crowley told them. "You're all... Do you know what you've done? Does the name Ramiel mean anything o you?"

Sam, Dean, Catty, Sabrina, Ariel, Faith and Mary answered, "No," the same time Ness, Amara, Castiel, Octavia and Levi answered, "Yes."

"What?" Sam asked.

Ness was in shock. "Ramiel. Prince of Hell."

"Ramiel?" Sabrina repeated. "Prince of Hell?"

Ariel shrugged. "It's catchy."

Faith nodded. "It rhymes."

"He might not be able to kill Sabrina, Ariel and Faith, but he is going to kill every other one of you if they don't kill him first," Crowley told them.

"No," Levi told them. "The Princes are all dead."

"That's what we told people to stop them looking," Crowley told them. "But in reality, not so much."

"W--what the hell is a Prince of... Hell?" Dean asked.

"The oldest of the old Demons," Octavia answered. "The first generation after Lilith. Lucifer turned them himself, before the oceans dark Atlantis."

"They were trained to be generals, to lead Demonic armies in the war against Heaven," Castiel told them.

"Like Azazel," Ness told them.

Crowley nodded in agreement. "They even have his eyes."

Mr. Crowley

Flashback - Six Years Ago

Day - Ramiel's House

(Song:) Crop Won't Ever Come - Robin Loxley & Jay Hawke (Extreme Music)

Crowley and a Demon were talking to Ramiel.

"Who are you?" Ramiel asked. "What do you want?"

"The name's Crowley," Crowley answered. "King of the Crossroads. I've been sent by Hell."

"And what?" Ramiel asked. "Don't they teach you how to knock in Hell?"

"For that, I apologize," Crowley told him. "But I do come bearing gifts. The first is from all Demonkind. We heard you collect weapons. The more ancient and arcane, the better. So may I present, the Lance of Michael, the Archangel."

Crowley's associate removed the drape covering the weapon that Ramiel had stabbed Castiel and Levi with, presenting it to Ramiel.

"Impressive," Ramiel told them. "This beauty, she kills the bad ones fast, and the good ones slow and painful."

"Ironic, seeing as it was made by an Angel," Crowley told him.

"There's only one Angel Michael wanted to kill, and he wanted that son of a bitch to suffer," Ramiel told them. "Ah, the magic, it's all in the rune work. The craftsmanship. Oh."

"The second gift is from myself, personally," Crowley explained. "Something I thought you might like."

Crowley set the same box Mary had pilfered something from earlier down on Ramiel's coffee table.

Ramiel opened it, seeing the orange glow. "Where did you get this?"

Crowley smirked. "It's amazing what some people just leave laying about. Consider it your coronation present."

"Pardon?" Ramiel asked.

"Brings me to your final gift," Crowley told him. "Throne of Hell."

Ramiel scoffed, closing the box. "You want me to be King?"

"Well, with Lilith and Azazel dead, and Lucifer back in his box, we need a ruler," Crowley told him. "You are next in line, Ramiel. Prince of Hell."

"It's just a name," Ramiel told them. "Doesn't mean anything."

"Still, the crown is yours if you want it," Crowley told him.

"I don't," Ramiel told him. "You take it."

"Pardon?" Crowley asked.

"You seem ambitious enough, conniving enough, slimy enough," Ramiel told him. "So, take it. Go for the glory, kid."

Crowley smirked. "I mean, one dares to dream, but what about the others? You're not the only Prince."

"Azazel was a fanatic, a true believer in Lucifer's master plan," Ramiel explained. "But the rest of us? Well, the truth is, we stopped caring a long time ago. Asmodeus has his hobbies. Dagon has her toys. We're happy where we are. So if you want the crown, it's yours. Otherwise."

Ramiel looked at Crowley's associate.

The Demon nodded. "Oh, hell, yeah--"

"I'll take it," Crowley told them. "I mean, I graciously accept."

The other Demon rolled her eyes.

"Swell, but there is one thing," Ramiel told them.

"Nothing comes without a price," Crowley told him.

"Well, this should be easy enough," Ramiel told him. "Leave us alone. And make sure everyone else does the same. If anyone, anything, bothers a Prince of Hell, that's gonna be on your head, Crowley. And you don't wanna know what happens when you piss us off."

Crowley nodded in understanding. "I humbly accept your terms."

Now

Night - Barn

Crowley spoke to the Winchesters and Levi. "My Demons were there to keep people away from Ramiel. Believe me, that's a hornet's nest you do not want to be kicking."

"Too late," Amara told him.

"What happened to Cas and Levi?" Sam asked.

"You tell me," Crowley told them.

"They got stabbed with some kind of silver-tipped spear," Octavia answered.

"It's not a spear," Crowley told them. "It's a lance. the Lance of Michael."

Ness sighed, turning away, making a face, because she had heard about the Lance before. Octavia had obviously heard about it before as well, sighing.

"Michael?" Dean asked. "As in Michael Michael?"

"Nasty bit of business," Crowley told them. "Kills everything it touches. If you're a Demon, you go up in a puff of smoke. If you're an Angel, you just... rot away. Sorry about Levi and Castiel."

Ness turned to face them. "No. No, there's a cure. There's always a cure, and we will find it."

"How?" Ariel asked.

"We trap Ramiel," Sam answered.

"And we beat his ass until he gives it up," Catty told them.

"It's not gonna work," Crowley told them.

"We took down the Darkness, and the Devil," Sam told him.

"It took you years to defeat Lucifer, after the birth of Sabrina," Crowley told them. "The power of God and the Hybrid to stop the Darkness."

"Now we have the power of Sow, Ariel and Faith," Octavia told him. "We can do this."

Crowley shrugged. "Ava, I know you can manage Ramiel. Maybe if you had more time, you could find a way to save Castiel and Levi. But right now, in this barn... with the magic of the Lance that Michael created so that no creature, not even God Himself could heal the damage from, not even your precious Sabrina, Ariel and Faith... Hey, I was growing fond of the choir boys, too."

"Shut up," Dean told him angrily. "Shut up."

"We don't have time, okay, for your--for you," Catty told him. "So either help us or get the hell out of here."

Crowley disappeared, leaving.

Amara sighed. "Yeah, figures."

9:07 PM

Barn

The family was preparing for the attack.

§

Outside

Ramiel was walking down toward the barn, whistling La donna e mobile again.

Crowley appeared. "What can I do to keep you out of that barn?"

"I smell the Angels," Ramiel told him. "They're rotting. These people, they your friends?"

Crowley shook his head. "I don't have friends. I make deals with those I can use. Every kingdom needs allies, even Hell."

Ramiel scoffed. "Allies, is that what you call six Humans with one good liver between them in the teenage girl because the adults are borderline alcoholics, three Angels, two Nephilims, the and True Hybrid?"

"I admit, the Winchesters can be a bit over the top," Crowley told him. "But every Armageddon, every bloody, 'this is the end of all things',  the Winchesters stopped it. Like it or not, they're an asset we can't afford to lose. Besides, you know that if you go in there, Sabrina, Ariel and Faith Winchester will kill you. They can, and they will, for what you did to Levi and Castiel."

"I just want back what's mine," Ramiel told him. "We had an agreement, Crowley. No one bothers us. You remember?"

"We made one deal," Crowley told him. "Let's make another. What do you say?"

Ramiel chuckled.

Barn

Ness stood by the door when something crashed through the wall beside her and flew across the room to land by an old tractor. The others walked closer to see that it was Crowley.  Ramiel walked through the hole he threw Crowley through. Everyone got ready for the fight.

9:12 PM

Barn

Castiel and Levi were getting worse. The others all stood around them worriedly.

"Uncle Cas, Levi, how bad is it?" Faith asked.

Castiel and Levi groaned, writhing in pain.

Castiel sighed, loosening his tie, pulling aside his collar to show the damage from his wound was spreading across his chest, just as Levi's was doing. "Crowley's right. You should go."

"Cas, come on," Catty told him.

"No, you listen to me," Castiel told them. "You.... look, thank you. Thank you. Knowing you, it... it's been the best part of my life. And the things that..." He looked so pained by the wounds and the sadness around them that he looked as if he would cry, which brought out the emotional reactions from all of them and made them feel like they were going to cry. "The things we've shared together, they have changed me. You're my family. Catty, Sabrina, I love you." Catty and Sabrina were close to crying, holding Castiel and Levi by the hands. Sabrina held one of each of their hands. "I love all of you."

"Sabrina, I know you, Ava, Ariel and Faith can kill Ramiel," Levi told her. "But I don't want you to lose anyone else because of you staying behind for me. If you can't save me, then go. Save Cas. Save your father. Your family. Just please... please, don't make my last moments be spent watching someone we all love die. Just go. Save all of you. And I will hold Ramiel off as long as I can."

Sabrina was close to crying but was determined to save them, shaking her head. "Levi, no. Dad..."

"Yes," Levi told them. "Your family needs to keep fighting."

"We are fighting, Levi," Sam told him. "We're fighting for you and Cas."

"You might think that we don't consider you as our family, Levi," Octavia told him. "But from the moment that you stepped into our family's lives, you did everything you could to fight for us. To save us. Time and time again."

"That makes you a lot like our family," Ariel told him.

"Like my dad used to say," Ness told them. "Family don't end in blood."

"Both of you are family," Amara told them. "And we don't leave family behind."

Catty and Sabrina were crying softly, holding Castiel and Levi.

Catty leaned closer to kiss Castiel softly and reassuringly, leaning her head against his, as both were crying silent tears. "I'm not losing you again, Cas."

Sabrina held Levi close, while also holding Castiel's hand to be close with both her father and boyfriend. "We're gonna save you. And kill the bitch that did this to you."

"Okay," Ariel told them.

"What's the play?" Faith asked.

Dean sighed heavily. "We hit him with everything we got."

Sam nodded in agreement. "Yeah."

Octavia tilted her head. "Let's do it."

All Barner Burner

Ness stood by the door when something crashed through the wall beside her and flew across the room to land by an old tractor. The others walked closer to see that it was Crowley. Ramiel walked through the hole he threw Crowley through. Everyone got ready for the fight.  Castiel and Levi watched them from the couch, closer and closer to dying. Amara pulled out her lighter, lighting it, dropping it, igniting the holy fire ring, trapping Ramiel.

"Toasty," Ramiel told them.

"You stabbed Aunt Catty's husband Uncle Cas and Sow's boyfriend Levi," Ariel told him. "Our family."

"Your family was trespassing," Ramiel told them.

"Tell us how to cure them," Sam told him.

"There is no cure," Ramiel told them.

"You have any idea who we are?" Dean asked.

"I don't care," Ramiel told them. "I don't care who you are. I don't care why you're here. I don't care about Heaven or Hell or anything. I don't even care that Lucifer's got two buns in the oven."

"You know about that?" Faith asked.

"My sister Dagon, she's taken an interest," Ramiel told them. "But me? Eh."

"Let me guess," Amara told him sarcastically. "You don't care."

"All I wanted was to be left alone," Ramiel told them. "But then you come. You... steal from me." Sam, Octavia, Ariel, Faith, Dean, Ness, Amara, Sabrina, Catty, Castiel and Levi looked at him in confusion. "And that? Ooh. That I cannot abide." Ramiel pulled out a pocket watch. "Ah. Give me back what's mine, or I take it off the Humans' lifeless bodies. You've got... thirty seconds."

Ramiel held up the watch, clicking it to start the countdown.

"Obviously, we got no idea what you're talking about," Faith told him.

"Twenty seconds," Ramiel told them. They didn't answer. Ramiel chuckled, looking around at each of them. "Have it your way."

Ramiel reached behind his head, magically pulling out the Lance of Michael, shocking each of them because he literally pulled it out of nothing, slamming it on the ground, creating a wave that extinguished the flames and threw Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness, Amara and Mary back to the floor, but not Sabrina, Octavia, Ariel and Faith. They each stood. Octavia spun her Angel Sword around, spinning closer to slash toward Ramiel. Ramiel used the Lance to deflect the Sword, hitting Octavia in the face with it, trying to slash the Lance into her side. Octavia swung her Angel Sword down to block the move, kicking Ramiel away. Ramiel turned the Lance to swing it toward Sabrina. Sabrina ducked, using the Lance to slam back into Ramiel, making him fall, spinning closer to elbow him in the face. Ariel punched Ramiel twice in the face, using her power to counteract the Lance. Ramiel tried to slash the Lance into Ariel's side, but she used magic to push him back toward Catty. Catty picked up a shovel, using it to hit Ramiel in the back, hitting him in the head, trying to hit him again. Ramiel used the Lance to block the move, using the lance to push Catty to the ground. Dean came up from behind Ramiel to punch him twice with his enchanted knuckles. Ramiel used the Lance to push Dean into Sam, knocking them both down, trying to slash into Faith with the Lance. Faith headbutted Ramiel to make him back away, using magic to push him away, spinning closer to kick him in the chest, punching him in the face with either arm. Ramiel tried to stab Ness with the Lance. Ness used her Angel Blade to block the move, spinning closer to elbow Ramiel in the face, spinning away to slash the Blade across his face. Ness, Amara, Sam, Dean, Catty and Mary all stabbed Ramiel with their Angel Blades, and Catty's Knife. Amara kicked Ramiel in the stomach, using her Angel Blade to maneuver the Lance out of Ramiel's hands into her own, turning it on him, stabbing him in the chest. Ramiel groaned in pain, starting to laugh in amusement, flashing with red light, exploding into a cloud of black dust. Everyone looked at Amara in surprise for her being able to kill Ramiel, while all of them knew that Sabrina, Ariel and Faith definitely had the power to kill him, but Amara took the chance to do it, all of them surprised but proud and impressed. Amara was also in surprise with herself, breathing heavily at the adrenaline rush.

Castiel and Levi were getting worse, with the affects of his wounds spreading up to their faces, screaming in agony. Amara threw the Lance down. They ran to Castiel and Levi's side.

"Cas," Catty told him. "Levi."

"Hey, buddies," Sam told them. "Hey."

"We're here," Ness told them. "We're right here, guys."

Black goo flowed from Castiel and Levi's mouths. They were clearly dying.

Sabrina started to cry. "Levi? Dad?"

"We're right here," Octavia told them.

Amara, Ariel and Faith started to cry. "No."

Crowley got up from where he had been lying by the tractor, picking up the Lance, studying it, looking over to them. Catty and Sabrina were holding each other as they were holding Castiel and Levi, crying. The others were nearly crying because they were just as devastated at the thought of losing them after everything that happened, everything they went through together.

"Hang in there, all right?" Dean asked. "What do we do?"

Crowley remembered what Ramiel had told him. "The magic. It's all in the runework. The craftsmanship."

Crowley snapped the Lance in half, releasing a blinding flash of light. Castiel and Levi glowed with bright light. When the glow faded, it was revealed that they were completely healed. They all looked at Crowley, stunned and in shock.

"The magic's in the craftsmanship," Crowley told them, staring at the broken Lance as if even he couldn't believe that worked.

"Cas?" Octavia asked worriedly. "Levi?"

Castiel and Levi nodded to them reassuringly to tell them that they were okay.

"Oh, you're welcome," Crowley told them, dropping the broken Lance, disappearing.

They all looked around, still stunned and in shock, turning to look at Castiel and Levi, all of them sighing in relief.

  §

Catty and Sabrina helped Castiel and Levi up, embracing them both immediately. "Thank God."

"Well, it was the King of Hell that did the saving this time," Ness told them.

"Can't believe that's something that actually happens," Amara told them.

"Uncle Cas?" Ariel asked. "Levi? You okay?"

"I guess so," Levi answered.

Faith looked toward the Lance, still puzzled about what Ramiel had said before the fight began. "What did he... what did he mean about somebody stealing from him?"

"Who knows what that crazy man was talking about?" Dean asked.

"Let's go home," Sam told them.

Octavia picked up the broken pieces of the Lance on their way out. "Let's."

Raul's Diner

Ketch had heard the story from the opening scene from Mary. "Well, that's quite a story. You did well."

Mary glared at him angrily. "You sent me after a damn Prince of Hell."

"Well, we didn't know what he was," Ketch told her. "We just knew he had the item."

"That's not good enough," Mary told him. "I almost lost a friend, Wally. I almost lost two of my boys, Cas and Levi."

"And we apologize," Ketch told her.

"Shut up," Mary told him. "Anything like that happens again, anything, and I will burn you down. All of you."

"Is that a threat?" Ketch asked.

"It's a promise," Mary answered.

"We made a mistake," Ketch told her. "I'm sorry." Mary stared him down, sighing deeply, leaning back in her chair. "Can I see it?" Mary pulled out the cloth wrapped item, setting it on the table. "Hello, beautiful."

"My father used to tell me stories about this thing," Mary told him. "You know there's only five things in all creation it can't kill?"

"Oh, yes," Ketch answered. "I know all about the Colt."

Throne Room

Crowley was sitting ion his throne, on the phone. "Search that house. Search it again. Find me that gun."

Crowley hung up.

Lucifer was in the cell nearby, in the dark, singing the 'Colt .45 Opening Theme. "Oh, there was a gun that won the west / There was a man among the best / The fastest gun or man alive / A lightning bolt when he shot the Colt / Bang! / 45." He laughed. "Man."

"I suppose you think that's funny," Crowley told him.

Lucifer laughed. "Ah. I know that look. Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness and Sabrina have got you down. Or is it Cas, Ava and Amara this time? Are Ariel and Faith big enough to give you some trouble yet? Wait until Aiden and Amara realize the full affect of the Mark on them, when they fully get their powers. When Aiden will be linked to Amara, and Aiden will have to grow up to the age that Amara is. Winchesters slash Singers, I'm telling you. They've corrupted even Levi. You, too. I still can't believe that you're working for the Dukes of Haphazard. Do you really think they care about you? Especially after everything you did to that family. Using, abusing, manipulating. I mean, think about it, Crowley. They kill your kind. It's in their blood. And you know... you know, it's only a matter of time before they come..." He sang tauntingly. "For you."

"Shut your mouth, dog," Crowley told him.

Lucifer let his eyes glow red. "That's not my name."
