THEN

From 9.23 "Do You Believe In Miracles?", in the Bunker, in Dean and Ness' room, Ness' body was lying in the bed, clean of all the blood, but was still severely broken.

Crowley put the First Blade in her hand, lying both on her chest. "Open your eyes, Ness. See what I feel. Feel what I feel."

Ness opened her completely black, Demon eyes.

From 10.01 "Black", in the Bunker, in Dean and Ness' room, Dean walked toward the dresser, picking up Ness' Necklace.

From 9.23 "Do You Believe In Miracles?", in the warehouse, Metatron buried an Angel Blade deep into Ness' chest with both hands, making her gasp in pain. Sam, Dean and Catty had been running close. They came to a stop in shock.

Dean was in denial, desperate, devastated and in  rage. "No!"

Metatron pulled the Angel Blade out of Ness' chest, accidentally pulling Ness' Necklace off in the process. Ness' Necklace fell to the floor. The sound of it clinking lightly like windchimes against the concrete reverberated in the open warehouse.

From 10.01 "Black", in the Bunker, in Dean and Ness' room, Dean looked at Ness' Necklace in his hand numbly. After a moment, his expression changed to one of pure longing and determination, knowing he was never going to stop until he got his wife back.

From 10.01 "Black", outside a bar, Octavia and Hannah were talking.

"Heaven needs your help," Hannah told her.

"Anything," Octavia told her.

"Daniel and Adina," Hannah told her. "They must be found. They must be brought home, and they must be punished, for the sake of all."

From 10.01 "Black", in the campsite, Daniel tried to stab Hannah with an Angel Blade. Octavia caught Daniel's blade, stabbing Daniel with Adina's Angel Blade, killing him, making him flash with bright white light, taking the blade out, letting him fall. Adina stood, running away, leaving.

"We have to get her, Octavia," Hannah told her.

"Hannah," Octavia told her. "It's over."

From 10.01 "Black", in the Black Spur, Ness and Crowley sat at the bar.

"I'm the King of Hell," Crowley told her. "You're not officially a Knight of Hell. Every King needs a Queen. Together, we rule. Together, we create the perfect Hell."

"You want me to move the party into Catty Winchester, my sister-in-law's body," Ness told him. "Pass. You want to move your party into Cas, the love of her life that was an Angel but is now a Human's body. Pass. Pass on all of it. When are you going to learn that you're in way over head when it comes to Sabrina Winchester? This is the part where you give up on your mission."

From 10.02 "Reichenbach", in the bar, Ness shrugged, turning to leave.

"Hey, don't turn your back on me," Crowley told her. Ness turned to face him, looking at him coldly, yet a little amused that he thought he could tell her what to do, pushing him to the floor, smirking. "What do you think you're doing?"

"Oh, whatever I want," Ness answered, releasing him from magic.

From 10.02 "Reichenbach", outside the hotel, Sam, Dean, Catty and Sabrina walked out of the hotel.

Crowley appeared in front of them. "You're here for Ness. I'm here to give her to you. Your little Nessie is bad for business. She's uncontrollable. Must be the Mark."

From 10.02 "Reichenbach", in Heaven's Prison, Metatron was inside his cell, in a straitjacket.

Octavia grabbed Metatron by the straitjacket through the bars of the jail cell in frustrated annoyance, smashing his head into the bars. She looked at Castiel. "He said your Grace, it's still out there."

"He's lying," Castiel told her. "He is a liar."

"Listen to me, Cas," Octavia told him. "I'm not going to let him go. Oh, no, on the contrary." She looked at Metatron. "I was thinking of paying you periodical visits and breaking you down little by little until you are finally ready to give up the location of the rest of Cas' Grace."

"I've made peace with my fate, Ava," Castiel told her.

"Who's the liar now?" Octavia asked, letting go of Metatron. "I know that you love being with Catty and Sabrina in this way, Cas. But I also know that you hate not having the power to protect them from all of the big, bad dangers that still lurk out there in the dark, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Now, if you want to question my motives and my methods even more than you have, we can do it on the road. Let's go."

Octavia walked out, leaving. Castiel hesitated, following.

From 10.02 "Reichenbach", in the bar, Ness and Dean met for the first time since Ness had became a Demon and disappeared.

Ness smiled. "Hi, Dean."

"Crowley... sold you out," Dean told her. "Look, we know how to cure Demons. You remember that?"

From 8.23 "Sacrifice", in the church, there were flashes of Sam injecting Crowley with his own blood in attempts of curing him to finish the Third Trial.

Ness: (voice over from 10.02 Reichenbach) "Little Latin, lot of blood."

From 10.02 "Reichenbach", in the bar, Ness looked at Dean. "So, what are you gonna do? Are you gonna kill me?"

"No," Dean answered. "Because you are my wife, and I'm here to take you home."

Dean took out the Demonic handcuffs.

Ness smirked, pressing her lips together. "You really think those are gonna work?"

From 9.21 "King of the Damned", outside the Bunker, Young Sabrina and Ness were standing outside, talking.

"If I hurt somebody, or turn into that thing that Crowley and Abaddon wanted to turn me into... I need you to take care of it," Young Sabrina told her.

"'Take care of it'?" Ness repeated skeptically. "You mean kill you?"

"I can't turn into what they want me to turn into," Young Sabrina told her. "I need to know that I won't hurt anyone."

From 10.03 "Soul Survivor", outside the bar, Ness plunged the First Blade into Sabrina's chest, making her gasp in pain and flash with light. Nothing else happened. Ness pulled the Blade out in shock. Sabrina seemed surprised herself. They watched as the wound in her chest healed.

"So not even the First Blade is enough to kill you," Ness told her. "That's good to know."

Sam splashed Holy Water onto Ness from behind, making her skin burn and sizzle, making her groan a scream of pain. Ness turned to Sam to retaliate. Sabrina punched Ness in the face, kneeing her in the stomach, twisting one of her wrists behind her back, making her face Catty. Ness tried to punch Catty in the face. Catty caught her wrist, using her momentum to twist it downwards, kicking her in the stomach, making her fall to her knees, twisting her arm behind her back. Dean handcuffed Ness with the Demonic handcuffs, rendering her powerless.

"Stop!" Sam told her. "It's over! Ness, it's over."

Ness glared at them, breathing heavily, completely powerless.

Same Night

Day One

Lebanon, Kansas

Night - Hospital - Empty Room

Catty was getting a priest to purify blood bags for her, posing as a doctor.

The priest held a crucifix. "Hunc sanguinem sacro, et donntibus sanguinem, debita demitto. Dolorem remitteat et voluntati de serviat." He put the crucifix to his lips, nodding to Catty. "Doctor."

Catty nodded. "Father."

The priest walked out, leaving. Catty walked over, picking up a cooler, filling it with the donated blood bags.

The Bunker - Dungeon

Ness was chained to the chair in the Demonic handcuffs within the Devil's Trap. Dean walked in with the cooler.

"You guys really have naughty minds," Ness told him. "This is, what, the second time I've been locked away in here? But, surprisingly, the opportunity flew right over your heads."

Dean put the cooler on the table, looking at Ness, smirking. "Oh, honey, you and I both know we never needed to be locked away in a dungeon." He opened the cooler, revealing the blood bags inside. "But if you want to play mistress of pain..." He nodded. "I'm game."

Ness smirked. "Be careful what you wish for." She looked at the blood bags in the cooler. "Really?"

"For whatever it's worth, Catty got your blood type," Dean told her.

Ness shook her head. "Dean, I know you think you're gonna try and fix me, but... did it ever occur to you that maybe I don't want to be fixed? Just let me go live my life. I won't bother you. What do you care?"

"What do I care?" Dean repeated skeptically, grabbing a bottle of Holy Water, splashing it on the floor, chanting in Latin.

"You think I'm just gonna sit here like Crowley?" Ness asked. "Getting all weepy while you shoot me up? Well, screw that. I don't want this."

"Yeah, I pretty much figured that out," Dean told her.

"You don't even know if this is gonna work, do you?" Ness asked. "You know, I got a hell of a lot more running through me than just Demon juice."

"Mark of Cain," Dean finished. "Got it."

"That's right," Ness told him.

Dean walked closer with a syringe of blood. "Buckle up. It's gonna be a long ride."

"Dean, you know I hate shots," Ness told him.

"I hate Demons," Dean replied. "And until I get my wife back, that's all you are."

"Aw," Ness told him sarcastically. "You're hurting my feelings."

Ness let her eyes turn black.

Dean splashed Ness with Holy Water, making her skin burn and her groan a scream of pain, plunging the needle into her arm, injecting her with blood. "Look, we got a whole bunch more of these to go. You could make it a lot easier on yourself."

Ness breathed heavily in pain, the blood already taking some effect.

Day Two

Morning - On the Road

Octavia's Camaro drove down the road.

 §

Octavia's Camaro

Octavia was driving. Castiel was in the passenger seat. There was a long moment of silence.

Octavia sighed, breaking the quiet. "So, let me get this straight. You had been driving your way to meet up with Catty and Sabrina and asked Sow to zap you into Heaven so you could try to stop me from making a deal with Metatron?" Castiel didn't answer, but that was answer enough. Octavia sighed. "Cas, it's the only way, and you know it. I don't like interacting with Metatron any more than you do, but he has your Grace stashed away somewhere. I'm not going to let him out, Cas. Can you just trust me on this?"

"I do trust you, Ava," Castiel told her. "But I also know that you are desperate to help fix me, because you are right. I lied. I'm happy to be with Catty and Sabrina, when I can feel everything they feel. The love and the warmth I feel when I'm with them... It's like nothing I've ever felt before. And I wouldn't give that feeling up for anything in the world. But I do want to protect them in a way that no one else can. But this is better than whatever Metatron will manipulate you into doing just to become an Angel again."

"I'm not going to let him manipulate me into doing anything," Octavia told him.

"You shouldn't be doing this at all, Ava," Castiel told her.

"I am helping you, Cas," Octavia told him.

"I know you want to save me, Ava," Castiel told her. "But I don't need to be saved." Octavia looked away. "But you know who does need to be saved? Ness. Sam, Dean, Catty and Sabrina are attempting to change Ness from Demon to Human with a cure of sanctified blood, but... there's no guarantee that will work. If it doesn't, then Ness is gone, and the Demon must be dealt with." Octavia knew he was right, but didn't like either situation, pulling out her phone. "Who are you calling?"

"Sam," Octavia answered, making the call. "Come on, Sam, pick up."

§

The Bunker - Dungeon

Ness was still handcuffed to the chair within the Devil's Trap with the Demonic handcuffs. Sam, Dean and Catty stood nearby. Sabrina stood in the doorway, leaning against it. Catty injected Ness with another syringe of blood.

Ness gasped for breath, moaning in pain, glaring. "For all you know, you could be killing me."

"Or... you're just messing with us," Catty told her.

"Either way, the lore doesn't say anything about exceptions to the cure," Sam told them.

Ness chuckled. "The lore. Hunters. Men of Letters. What a load of crap it all is." They didn't answer. "Oh, you got nothing?"

"You want us to debate you?" Sam asked. "This isn't even the real you we're talking to."

"Oh, it's the real me, all right," Ness told them. "The new real me. The me that sees things for what they really are. Winchesters. Do-gooders. Fighting the natural order. Let me tell you something. Things like me? Like Sabrina? We are the natural order. It's way it was set up."

"Guys like me, Sam and Dean still got to do what we can," Catty told her.

"Don't be so full of yourself, Catty," Ness told her. "'Cause, see, from where I'm sitting... there ain't much difference from what I turned into to what you guys already are."

"And what exactly is that supposed to mean?" Sabrina asked.

Ness smirked. "You, Sammy, always corrupted. First with the Demon blood from Yellow Eyes. Then chugging the stuff before even being possessed by Lucifer the Devil himself, before losing your soul and turning into a monster before Dean got it back for you." Sam sighed, looking away. "And I was Cat's therapist for all the literal Hell she was going through. Even when she couldn't talk to Sam and Dean about it, Cat could always talk to me. About Hell. Alastair. Brett. Brett's family. Everything going on in Cat's head. Going to Hell and being an apprentice under Alastair and turning to the queen of torture, breaking the first Seal that was supposed to set Lucifer free." Catty looked away at the mention of Alastair. "The way you turned into monstrous torture queen after Alastair broke you down good in Hell, after all the things he did to you to turn you into another animal." Catty was trying to not to show a reaction to Ness using that against her, considering that Ness knew more than anyone how much that affected her. Sam and Dean tried to cut Ness off to make her stop, but Ness smirked, continuing on. "And when Brett died? Cat, it was like you had lost your soul, because Crowley had the Djinn that killed Brett and nearly killed Brett's family poison you with something that made you numb to who you were, so that Crowley could use the DNA of Alastair, Brett, you and Cas to set up little Sow over there. It really took a toll on you, didn't it, Cat?" Ness smirked, keeping saying Brett's name because she liked the reaction that she got out of Catty each time she said Brett's name, making her more angrier and uncomfortable, upset, though Catty tried her best to hide it. "Especially knowing that Brett was meant to be dead the second you met him. And even Brett's sister Sarah. Brett's niece Abby. Brett's brother-in-law Kyle." Catty became expressionless, hiding how overwhelmed she felt with her best friend/sister-in-law dragging up all of her major past issues. "Brett, Brett, Brett, Brett, Brett, Brett, Brett. Alastair." Catty was getting more angry than upset. Sabrina flicked her wrist toward Ness, using magic to cause her a little bit of pain to make her stop saying Brett's name to make her stop causing Catty more pain. Ness smirked at this reaction. "But let's not forget being possessed by Abaddon, the Knight of Hell, and you, Ava and Cas trying to teach Sabrina. You, Ava and Cas had to make sure that she was back in fighting shape after the fall. Or Cas and Ava being monsters when they were controlled by the Angels, or when Cas was controlled by Crowley and Balthazar when Balthazar killed Ava, or when Cas was possessed by Levis when Levis drove Cas insane. And when Ava came back to life, nearly killing Cas before she got free from mind control. And you, little Sow. Born to be a monster and fighting every second of it. You might have your hunger under control, but it wasn't always like that, was it? You used to have trouble with your hunger every second of every day, didn't you?" Sabrina tensed, hoping that Ness wouldn't spill the beans about what she had made her promise in 9.21 King of the Damned. Ness smirked knowingly, looking at Dean. "Oh, last but not least. I saved the best for last, Dean. I know what you did when you went looking for me. I know how far you went. Crowley told me all about." She looked between them. "So, let me ask you guys... which one of us is really a monster? Hmm? Starting to come back to you now?"

Flashback

Day - Woods

Octavia and Young Sabrina (from Book 9)  were training in the woods, while Sam, Catty, Dean and Castiel watched. Young Sabrina tried to punch Octavia. Octavia caught her arm, spinning around, swinging her around. Young Sabrina disappeared. Octavia looked around. Young Sabrina appeared behind her, grabbing her arm, flipping Octavia to the ground, twisting her arm. Octavia spun out of her grip, trying to kick her in the head. Young Sabrina ducked, trying to punch her. Octavia backed away enough to make her miss, trying to punch her.

Young Sabrina spun out of the way, turning to face her, punching her in the chest. "You're dead."

Octavia smirked, impressed. Sam, Catty and Castiel smiled. Dean backed away from them, impressed.

"You're getting better, Sabrina," Octavia told her.

"I feel better," Young Sabrina told them.

"And you managed to zap out of Ava's reach," Sam told her.

Young Sabrina smiled.

Castiel stepped closer, nodding. "Yes. With the Gates of Heaven locked, you can't use your Angel power to teleport, but you can use your Demon power to. That's how you can get around the way you used to."

"Am I really back?" Young Sabrina asked excitedly.

Catty smiled. "You're more than back."

Young Sabrina embraced Castiel and Catty tightly. She pulled away, turning to Octavia. "Thanks for teaching me, Aunt Ava."

Young Sabrina wrapped her arms around Octavia.

Octavia returned the embrace, smiling. "My pleasure, Sow."

Dean walked away, leaving.

Night - Bar

(Song:) Shot Full of Heartache - Peter Malick & Amyl Justin

Lester was drunk, sitting at the bar. "What am I supposed to do now? It's like my life is over. Thank you. Bitch. I should've seen it coming. Why doesn't anything ever work out for me? Huh?"

Dean sat next to Lester. "Hey, there."

"Hi," Lester told him.

"Sounds like things have been a little rough on you lately, huh?" Dean asked.

"Rough?" Lester repeated. "My wife kicked me to the curb."

"Oh," Dean told him.

"We haven't had sex four months," Lester told him. "Four. Well, not that--not that she hasn't been having plenty... with a guy in her bowling league. Guy with tattoos. Did him right there on the kitchen table while I was at work."

"Man, that's, uh..." Dean trailed off. "That's cold."

"Now all I think of is revenge," Lester told him. "Payback. But that's not gonna happen."

"I wouldn't be so sure about that," Dean told him. "It is possible that you can have your revenge. I mean, hell, it's possible you can have pretty much anything you want."

(Song Ends)

§

Now

Day - The Bunker - Dungeon

Sam, Catty and Sabrina looked at Dean.

"You were trying to get a 20 on Crowley and me, from any Demon you could snag," Ness told him. "But we didn't want to be found, and no one showed up when you summoned. But you found a way, didn't you, Dean?"

Dean didn't answer, ashamed.

§

Flashback

Night - Crossroads

Dean buried a box, covering it with dirt, glancing around the Crossroads, gesturing to Lester. "All right. Stand right here. When I say so, read the words off the paper."

"A--are you sure about this?" Lester asked.

"Yeah, trust me," Dean told him, walking behind some bushes, crouching down to hide. "All right. Go ahead."

"Okay," Lester told him. "Um..." He looked at the paper. "'Demon esto sujectus voluntari--"

"Tati," Dean corrected. "Voluntati."

"Oh," Lester told him. "Voluntati."

The Crossroads Demon that Dean had tortured in 10.01 Black appeared. "Who summons me, and for what purpose?"

Lester walked toward the Crossroads Demon. "Kill my wife."

Dean stood, trying to get him to stop. "Lester!"

Lester ignored him, looking at the Crossroads Demon. "And my soul is yours."

Dean ran closer. "Don't!"

"Done," the Crossroads Demon told him.

"No!" Dean told them.

The Crossroads Demon kissed Lester, sealing the deal.

 §

Now

Day - The Bunker - Dungeon

Sam, Catty and Sabrina looked at Dean, surprised and expressionless. Dean looked down in guilt.

"You would have liked to have gotten there before the deal went down," Ness told him. "But you didn't really care about poor old Lester, did you?"

§

Flashback

Night - Crossroads

The Crossroads Demon was chained to the tree with her arms above her head. She was being tortured, bleeding, breathing heavily in pain.

Dean was standing in front of her. "Why don't we try that again?"

"Nobody knows where Crowley and your wife are," the Crossroads Demon told him. "They're off the radar!" Dean pulled out Catty's Knife, cutting into her chest, making her scream in pain. "Kill me if you want to! That's all I know. I got nothing for you. And you made that poor son of a bitch sell his soul."

 §

Now

Day - The Bunker

Ness looked at Dean. "Oh, and so you know, I killed Lester myself. And that wife of his married the tattooed guy."

Dean slammed his hand down on the table. "I never meant--"

"Who cares what you meant?" Ness asked. "That line that we thought was so clear between us and the things that we hunted ain't so clear, is it? Wow. You might actually be worse than me. Nice work." She looked between them. "You want a little tip from a pro? When it comes to hunting..." She chuckled barely, shaking her head. "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain. I guess both cases applies to all of us, doesn't it?" Sabrina plunged the next needle of blood into her arm below the Mark, making her scream in pain. She tossed the syringe onto the table. Dean leaned over the table, pain, angry and regretting. "Let me ask you this, sweethearts. If this doesn't work, we all know what you got to do to me, right? You think you can do that?"

Sam, Catty, Sabrina and Dean couldn't bring themselves to answer.

§

Hell - Throne Room

Crowley was sitting in his throne. A Demon guard held a young girl before the throne.

"You stand accused of high treason," Crowley told her. He looked at the guard. "Take her away." The Demons walked out, leaving. Another Demon handed Crowley an envelope. "So, what's this, then? Oh, goody. Something else to sign. 'Henceforth and forthwith... for the furtherance and expedience and regulation and...' Yeah, sure."

Crowley signed the envelope, handing it to the Demon. The Demon walked away, leaving.

Another Demon approached. "Majesty, supplicants await without."

"Without what?" Crowley asked.

The Demon hesitated. "Outside."

"Let them wait," Crowley told him.

"They've waited a long time," the Demon told him.

"It's Hell," Crowley told him. "You wait. It's what you do."

The Demon walked away, leaving. Crowley gazed off, thinking.

§

Flashback - 10.01 "Black"

Night - Bonfire Party - Cornfield

The Demon turned to face her just as Ness drove the First Blade into his stomach, killing him with a flash of light, taking the Blade out, pushing the body to the ground. Ness smirked, sighing. Crowley was hidden through the cornfield, watching. He smirked. Ness felt as if she was being watched, turning her head toward him. Crowley had disappeared.

§

Day - The Black Spur - Outside

Crowley looked off into the distance. Ness was getting out of her car, closing the door, walking toward the bar, nodding to the doorman, walking inside. Crowley smirked.

§

Inside

Ness and Crowley sat at the bar.

"You've been watching me, which doesn't come as a surprise, or even creepy, though it should," Ness told him.

Crowley smirked.

§

10.02 "Reichenbach"

Day - Karaoke Club

The karaoke club was mostly crowded. Ness was performing 'Heartbreaker' on stage.

§

Outside

Ness walked outside, pulling on her jacket, putting the First Blade into her pocket.

Crowley appeared. "I see you've been busy. I sure do hope that you were having fun while creating your little art project inside."

§

Bar

Crowley and Ness were sitting at the bar.

Ness motioned to the bartender. "Two shots here. He'll have something fancy, with your tiniest umbrella."

The bartender nodded, walking away to get the drinks.

"This is about the Mark," Crowley told her. "It changed you."

Ness let her eyes turn black. "I've noticed." She let her eyes return to normal. "Nothing scares me. Nothing can hurt me. The scarring, emotional or physical? Completely gone. I'm good. Hell, I'm great."

Crowley used her words against her. "I've noticed."

Ness stood, turning to leave. She stopped, looking back at him from over her shoulder.

§

Now

Day - Hell - Throne Room

Crowley was still in the past.

A Demon was trying to get his attention. "Great one? Your majesty." Crowley blinked, coming out of his thoughts. "Are you... all right?"

"I was thinking of better days," Crowley told him.

"Yes, your sabbatical," the Demon told him.

"My what?" Crowley asked.

"Uh, we were worried, of course," the Demon told him. "Your misadventure with Ness Singer-Winchester was quite the topic of speculation. Uh, if you'll forgive my boldness... I could be your wingman."

"Could you?" Crowley asked.

"I, too, love to party," the Demon told him. "And I do love the ladies. And the classic rock-and-roll. Most importantly, I could debauch by your side without being a personal embarrassment. You'll see what I'm worth."

"Oh, I can see already," Crowley told him, snapping his fingers. The Demon disintegrated into smoke. Crowley looked around the other Demons. "Anyone else care to comment?"

No one answered.

§

On the Road - Octavia's Camaro

Octavia was driving. Castiel was in the passenger seat.

Sabrina appeared in the backseat, making them jump. "Sorry. But I didn't know if you guys were still coming."

"We're only a few hours away," Castiel told her. "Is the treatment working?"

"No, not very well," Sabrina answered. "Look, it's--it's not like it was with Crowley. Aunt Ness is in pain. I mean, she's in bad pain. It's like she's barely holding on. Dad, Aunt Ava... we might be killing her."

"It might be," Castiel told them sadly.

"So, what?" Sabrina asked. "Should we stop?"

"And do what?" Castiel asked. "She's not possessed. Exorcism is out of the question. The ritual of purified blood is the only treatment I know."

"Dad, can I heal her?" Sabrina asked. "Can I cure her?"

"Even if you could, we wouldn't even know where to begin," Castiel told her. "At least, not now. We have to prepared for--"

"Killing Aunt Ness," Sabrina finished sadly. "This is kind of an 'all hands on deck' situation."

"Yeah, absolutely it is," Octavia agreed. "We will be there very, very soon. Well, not as soon as we would be able to if we could still teleport and if Cas would let me enact my plan to get his Grace back instead of chastising me like the little sister that's done something wrong, but... still."

"Ava, let it go," Castiel told her. "Please."

Sabrina was confused. "Aunt Ava, have you been drinking?"

"Yes," Castiel answered.

Octavia shook her head. "No, I have not. I'm just very adamant about my plan." Sabrina looked around the backseat of the car, picking up an alcohol bottle, holding it up for them to see, tilting her head at Ava. Octavia smiled, looking away. "Yeah, well..." She smirked, looking at Castiel. "Don't worry. I'm not gonna go on a bender like you did when you found out that Dad didn't care."

Sabrina smiled.

"Can we all just forget that happened?" Castiel asked.

"No," Octavia answered. Sabrina chuckled. "We'll be there soon, Sow. I promise."

"Yeah, all right," Sabrina told them.

A moment of silence passed.

Octavia looked at Sabrina. "You're still here."

"Yeah, I, uh..." Sabrina trailed off. "I don't wanna hear what DemoNess has to say anymore. It's bad. Like, bad bad."

Castiel and Octavia were puzzled, amused.

"DemoNess?" Castiel repeated.

Sabrina nodded simply. "Yeah. Demon Ness."

Castiel, Sabrina and Octavia looked at each other, smiling small smiles. Octavia continued to drive.

§

The Bunker - Dungeon

Catty was in the dungeon, looking at Ness worriedly. Ness was completely still, unconscious.

Catty looked toward the door. "Sam! Dean!"

Sam and Dean walked in, seeing Ness.

Dean immediately walked closer, kneeing in front of her, holding a hand to either of her cheeks to try to wake her up. "Hey. Hey. Ness. Come on. Come back to me. You there?"

Ness could barely speak above a whisper. "No."

"Ness, you okay?" Catty asked.

Ness looked up, breathing heavily. "Yeah, if you... consider drowning in your own sweat while your blood boils, 'Okay'."

Ness gave a weak cough.

"Look, we can't stop doing this," Sam told her.

"Sue you can," Ness told them. "You just stop. There's no point in trying to bring Nessie back now."

Dean stood. "Oh, we will bring her back."

"In fact, your, uh... guilt-ridden, weight-of-the-world Ness Singer-Winchester has been MIA for quite some time now," Ness told them. "You notice I tried to get as far away from you as possible? Maybe I was just... tired of saving you from yourselves. Or always having to yank your asses out of the fire since..." She chuckled. "Forever. Or maybe... maybe it was the fact that my dad would still be alive if it wasn't for you. Oh, and my friends. Everyone I cared about started to die around me once I aligned myself with you. Jo. Ellen. Ash. Pamela. My dad only died because we were trying to help you deal with the Leviathans and find and save Sabrina." She looked at Dean. "And you noticed that my dad died so soon after we got married? That should have been a neon sign that I couldn't see flashing in my face. Oh, and don't even get me started on Purgatory. Like me being taken by those Vampires... being a slave for blood, torture and pleasure... It was your fault, Dean. You couldn't stop them from taking me. You let me be taken."

"This isn't my wife talking," Dean told her.

"You never had a wife," Ness told him. "Just an excuse for not manning up. You know, everyone told me that I was crazy for loving you. For staying with you, being a family with you Winchesters. And they were right. I just couldn't see it. Or maybe I tried to get away from you guys because I'm a Demon because of Catty. Yes, the Mark is what turned me into a Demon. But Crowley knew that if I died with this thing on my arm, that I would turn. And you wanna know why he manipulated me into taking it on? So he could have someone on the inside of this family to get to Catty, to Cas, and to Sow. It wasn't coincidence, Catty. It was planned. But I didn't wanna do a thing that guy told me to. I didn't want to manipulate you, Cas or Sow, because I didn't give a rat's ass about power, unlike that power-hungry dick, Cat."

"Or maybe, deep down, you were protecting your sister, your niece and her father," Catty told her.

Ness chuckled, shaking her head. "And there you go again. Always defending the people you love even when they have no right to be defended. I didn't listen for you, Catty. I didn't listen because I didn't want to. Because I got so out of control. Just like your daughter. Sabrina might be good, for now, but you have no idea how far her hunger has gotten, do you? You know what's funny, Cat? You're left out of so many loops, because Dean knew that you wouldn't like what he did to Dar and Lester, and Sow didn't tell you about her hunger because she knew that it would only worry you even more than you already worry about everything else. But you want to know something that is really going to kick you while you're down, Cat? She didn't tell you that she asked me to kill her with the Blade if she ever got out of control, did she?" Sam, Dean and Catty looked at Ness in shock. Catty tried to hide the reaction. Ness smirked. "I'm going to take that as a no. She pulled a Catty and told me to kill her if it meant that she didn't have to hurt anybody, if she got out of control. That tells you how close to bad she really is, doesn't it? And you protect her, and you fight for her, and you kill for her, because she is your daughter, and you love her. And she might become the next thing that you have to hunt. But you just can't do that, can you, Catty?" Catty was overwhelmed, turning away to the table, preparing the next syringe. "That's why she told me not to tell any of you. Because she knew that you would stop me and save her. But I guess you hit a lucky break, for once. I tried to kill her with the First Blade. It didn't work. So if the Blade that can kill anything can't kill the True Hybrid, what can, Cat? Because I know you can't." Catty slammed her hand against the table, looking at Ness. Ness smirked. "Oh. Ooh. Is this you getting mad? Oh, I love it when baby sis gets mad. Bringing up Brett and Alastair didn't work, but this did."

Catty walked closer. "This is me yanking your ass out of the fire." She injected the needle into Ness' arm. "You're welcome."

Catty took the needle out, turning around, pushing the needle into Sam's chest, walking out, leaving without another word or look.

Sam and Dean looked at Ness somberly, still in shock, exchanging a look. "Sabrina."

Ness gasped in pain, glaring.

Hell - Throne Room

A Demon was in chains, standing before Crowley in his throne.

"You have coerced others into aligning with Abaddon," Crowley told him. "You've spread rumors and fostered doubt as to the competence and authority to the crown. Guilty of treason. The sentence is death." Another Demon stabbed the Demon in handcuffs with an Angel Blade, killing him, making him flash with bright light, taking it out, letting him fall. "Anyone else hungry to betray me? Next." Another Demon was brought before Crowley. "You're guilty of... something. Which I don't tolerate. Whatever it was. You are condemned to--"

Another Demon ran in, standing between the prisoner and Crowley. "Stop! Stop!"

"'Stop'?" Crowley repeated.

"You cannot do this," the Demon told him.

"Weren't you watching?" Crowley asked. "Of course I can. I just did."

"This is your idea of ruling?" the Demon asked.

"Yes," Crowley answered.

"We've killed and tortured for you," the Demon told him. "Stolen souls. Destroyed lives. Tempted and tormented with distinction. And for all this, what's our reward? A slap in the face." He reached into his pocket, lifting something in each hands. The Demons gathered around stepped back, murmuring amongst themselves. "You disappear. Binge on blood. Approach the edge of becoming Human. And the salt in the wound? You run off with your girl toy, Ness Singer-Winchester. But she didn't even want to be with you. Your quest for power led to an obsession with her. And now she's running amok and you can't control her, Sabrina Winchester, or the kingdom!" The Demons in the background were asking what he was doing, and what he had in his hands. "You've squandered our loyalty."

"What will you do?" Crowley asked.

"Not live in the Hell you've made," the Demon answered, opening the bottle in his hand, pouring the contents over his clothes.

"Holy Oil!" a Demon told them.

The other Demons backed away. The Demon flicked a lighter on, bringing it to his chest, setting himself on fire with Holy Fire. The Demons backed away.

Crowley was in shock. "Did not see that coming. Huh."

Gas Station - Outside

Octavia's Camaro pulled over. Castiel, Sabrina and Octavia got out of the car.

Octavia leaned against the side of her car, looking at Castiel sarcastically. "Who knew that Humans could get carsick?"

Castiel gave her a look. "Ava." Octavia smirked. "I'll be fine in a moment." Sabrina smirked. "I just... have to go to the restroom. I'll be back shortly."

"Don't take too long, Dad," Sabrina told him. "I wanna get to the Bunker before something happens." Castiel nodded, walking inside. Octavia filled up the car with gas so they could get going. "Aunt Ava, would me zapping us to the Bunker make Dad's sickness even worse?"

"In this condition, yes," Octavia answered. "Just give him a little while, Sabrina. He'll be fine soon."

Sabrina nodded in understanding. They heard something inside, confused. Octavia put the nozzle back in the gas pump.

§

Inside

Sabrina walked in, noticing an overturned coffee cup on the counter, stepping closer, seeing a man behind the counter, his eyes burned out, having been smote by an Angel. She sensed someone behind her, turning around. Adina was holding an Angel Blade against Castiel. Octavia walked inside.

"Hey, there," Adina told them. Sabrina stepped closer. Adina tightened her grip, bringing the blade closer to Castiel's throat. Sabrina stopped. "I've been tracking you for days, Octavia, and it comes as no surprise that you lead me to the former angel, now Human that was the cause of the fall, Castiel, and his daughter Sabrina Winchester, the True Hybrid. You will punished for what you did."

"Daniel's death..." Octavia trailed off. "That was unintentional, Adina. I feel you know this."

"Unintentional?" Adina repeated incredulously. "You killed him!"

"Let him go," Octavia told her.

"I'd rather kill you all," Adina told them.

"Walk away," Sabrina told her. "Or you can die."

"Stop," Castiel told them.

"'Stop'," Adina told them. "'Let him go'. 'Walk away'. I mean, so many suggestions, I don't know what to do. I know. I will kill you, Castiel. But very, very slowly so Sabrina and Octavia can watch. Sound good?"

Octavia grabbed the arm that had the Angel Blade to Castiel's throat, twisting it, making Adina let him go. Castiel instantly backed away. Adina tried to stab Octavia. Octavia caught her arm, punching her in the face. Sabrina appeared behind Adina, grabbing her, turning around, throwing her through the glass door of the gas station, making her fall to the ground outside.

The Bunker - Sam's Room

Sam walked over to his bed, sitting down. He picked up pictures of Young Dean and Mary. Mary and John. Young Sam, Young Dean, Baby Catty, John and Mary. Sam, Dean and Catty. Sam, Dean, Catty and Ness. Bobby and Ness. Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness and Bobby. Catty, Castiel and Young Sabrina (Book 8), with Young Sabrina on Castiel's back, all of them smiling. Catty, Castiel and Young Sabrina (Book 9). Catty, Castiel and Sabrina. Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness, Castiel, Octavia and Young Sabrina (Book 9), after they had saved Catty from Abaddon, in the garage of the Bunker, with Castiel, Catty and Sabrina embracing, Dean and Ness holding each other, and Sam and Octavia having an arm around each other, looking at each other and smiling. Sam managed a small, nostalgic smile from looking at all of these pictures.

§

Dungeon

Dean walked into the dungeon, stopping cold. Ness was gone. Dean was instantly worried.

§

Gas Station - Outside

Octavia and Adina were facing off outside.

"I will make you suffer, Octavia," Adina told her. "Just like my Daniel suffered before you killed him."

"I didn't make him suffer," Octavia told him.

"You're right," Adina told her. "You made it quick and painless. But that's a luxury that you won't have. We did nothing. We wanted nothing but to be left alone."

"You killed an Angel," Octavia told her.

"An Angel who would have hauled us back to Heaven," Adina told her. "You should have left us alone."

Castiel and Sabrina walked outside.

"That's enough," Castiel told them.

Octavia looked at Castiel and Sabrina.

"It's enough when I say it's enough," Adina told them, slashing toward Octavia with her Angel Blade.

Octavia ducked. Adina tried to drive the blade through her. Octavia pivoted back to make her miss. Adina raised her blade to stab me. Octavia blocked the move with her Angel Sword, slashing toward her. Adina used her blade to block the move. They tried the same move, ending up blocking each other. Adina tried to slash into her. Octavia spun away to make her miss, turning to face her. Adina raised her blade to try to stab her repeatedly. Octavia kept her sword raised to block her every move, twisting the sword around Adina's blade, pulling it free, the force making Adina spin horizontally through the air and fall to the ground.

"You can stop this now, Adina," Octavia told her. "Walk away."

Adina stood, blade in hand. "I will never stop until you pay for Daniel."

Adina tried to stab Octavia.

Sabrina caught her arm. "Why can't you people just sit on clouds and play on harps like you're supposed to?"

Adina punched Sabrina in the face, not even phasing her. Sabrina punched her in the face, then in the stomach, spinning around, elbowing her in the stomach, turning to face her. Adina tried to stab her. Sabrina caught her arm, twisting it hard enough to make her drop the blade, taking Adina by her jacket, pushing her into the gas station's window, making it shatter on impact. Sabrina looked at the Angel Blade in her hand, letting it go, using magic to levitate it in the air. Adina stood. Sabrina looked Adina, using magic to throw the Angel Blade into her heart, making her scream in pain, killing her, making her flash with bright white light. The body fell to the ground.

Castiel and Octavia looked at Sabrina, surprised. "Sabrina."

Sabrina looked at them innocently. "What? Aunt Ava, you weren't gonna kill her, because you felt guilty, but she wasn't going to stop until you were dead. If you hadn't been holding back, she would have already been dead."

Octavia sighed. "I already killed Daniel. I didn't want to kill Adina, too. I know it's ridiculous, after all the Angels I've killed, to get teary-eyed over them, but..."

"You have never done anything you have not needed to do, Ava," Castiel told her. "Remember that."

Octavia nodded, looking away. "It doesn't make it any easier."

"I know," Castiel told her. "And I don't think it's ridiculous to take this seriously. I think it's just the part of you that remained Human even when you returned to being an Angel. If you are so determined to go through with your plan to get my Grace back, then I wish I would still feel the way I do now. Be strong, but still have remorse, and... feelings."

"You had those before you became Human, Dad," Sabrina told him.

Castiel shook his head. "Not to this extent, Sow."

Octavia looked thoughtfully somber.

Sabrina sighed, understanding, but a little impatient. "Can we go now?"

The Bunker - Hallway

Catty had her back to the wall, her Demon Knife in hand.

Another Hallway

Sam had his back to the wall, Angel Blade in hand. He heard a door open, walking away.

Another Hallway

Dean was looking for Ness, Angel Blade in hand.

Another Hallway

Ness was walking through the hallway, opening doors, looking for the other three.

§

Control Room

Sam opened a drawer, grabbing a set of keys.

§

Kitchen

Ness found her way to the kitchen, opening a drawer, pulling out a meatcleaver, considering, putting it back, picking up a hammer inside, admiring it, smirking. "Come on, Dean! Don't you want to be with your wife? Spend a little quality time?"

Ness walked out of the kitchen.

§

Electrical Room

Sam used the keys to unlock the door, walking in.

§

Hallway

Ness walked through the hallways, looking around for them with the hammer in hand. She walked past Dean and Ness' bedroom door, turning back, kicking it in, revealing the room empty.

§

Electrical Room

Sam flipped a switch. The energy powered down, the alarm blaring, filling the Bunker with a red light.

§

Hallway

Catty still had her back to the wall, her knife in hand. The energy powered down, the alarm blaring, filling the Bunker with a red light. Catty looked up, smirking.

§

Another Hallway

Dean was still looking for Ness, Angel Blade in hand. The energy powered down, the alarm blaring, filling the Bunker with a red light. Dean looked up, looking around.

§

Another Hallway

Ness was still looking for them, hammer in hand. The energy powered down, the alarm blaring, filling the Bunker with a red light.

Ness looked up, looking around. She smirked. "Smart, Sammy. Locking the place down. Doors won't open. I get it." She walked down the hallway. "But here's the thing. I don't want to leave. Not until I find the three of you."

Ness heard a clatter in the distance, walking toward that direction.

§

Library

Ness walked in. "Dean!" She looked around the empty room. "Sammy!" She walked in further. "Catty! You're just making this worse for yourselves, morons. Oh, by the way, you can, uh... blame yourselves for me getting loose. All that blood you pumped into me to make me Human? Well..." She chuckled. "The less Demon I was, the less the cuffs worked. And that Devil's Trap? Well, I just walked right across it. It smarted. But still..."

§

Control Room

Ness walked in, opening a drawer to find the keys to the Bunker missing.

§

Electrical Room

Ness walked in, down the steps, toward the controls, pushing the lever up.  The power turned on, unlocking the place.

Ness looked around. "Yeah, that's more like it." The door to the room slammed closed, the lock clicking, keys jangling. Ness walked toward the door. "That's your big move?"

§

Hallway

Sam had been the one to lock Ness in the room, Angel Blade in hand. "Listen to me, Ness. We're getting close, okay? We know you're still in there somewhere. Just let us finish the treatments." There was no answer. "Ness?"

Ness started to break a hole into the door with the hammer. "You guys act like I want to be cured." She looked through the hole toward Sam on the other side. "Personally, I like the disease."

Catty walked closer. "Ness, stop that. Look, I don't want to use this blade on you."

"That sucks for you, doesn't it?" Ness asked. "'Cause you really mean that."

"Look, if you come out of that room, we won't have a choice," Sam told her.

"Sure you will," Ness told them. She smirked. "And I know which one you'll make. Isn't that right? But see... here's the thing. I'm lucky. Oh, hell, I'm blessed. 'Cause there's just enough Demon left in me that killing you ain't no choice at all." She continued to break down the door with the hammer. Catty grabbed Sam's uninjured arm, pulling him down the hallway, getting them out of there. Ness kicked the rest of the door away, walking through, looking down at the remains of the wooden door, hair falling into her face. She ran a hand through it to pull it back, looking up. "Sammy?" She walked down the hall that Sam and Catty had ran off in. "Catty?" She clicked her tongue, looking from side to side, enjoying herself. "Dean? Come on, guys! Let's have a beer, talk about it. Let's finish this game."

§

Another Hallway

Dean had his back to the wall, Angel Blade in hand. He sensed someone behind him, turning around. Ness swung the hammer toward him.

Dean ducked. "Nessie, stop."

Ness used magic to push him to the floor, over three steps behind him, making him lay up in an inclined position. She smiled, tilting her head forward a little, stepping closer, straddling his lap, her arms resting on his shoulders. "You wanted to play a game. Let's finish it." She raised the hammer to come down on his head. Dean aimed the Angel Blade at Ness' heart, the point resting on her chest. Ness chuckled, smiling. "Well... look at you." She lowered the hammer to her side. "You gonna kill your girl the same way that you watched her die?" Dean breathed heavily, not wanting to do it. Ness smiled impishly, looking at him knowingly, expectantly, daring him with her eyes. "Do it. It's all you."

Dean hesitated, unable to do it, lowering the Angel Blade. Ness smirked, letting her eyes turn black, raising the hammer again to come down on him. Sabrina and Octavia appeared behind Ness, grabbing her from behind, pulling her away from Dean, restraining her. Catty and Sam walked toward Dean, helping him stand. Castiel walked closer to stand on the other side of Catty. Ness struggled against Sabrina and Octavia, trying to get free.

"It's over," Octavia told her. "Ness, it's over." Ness continued to struggle, growling, her eyes still black. Sabrina let her eyes turn completely white, glowing blue from within. Octavia's eyes glowed blue from within. Castiel, Catty and Sam looked at Dean. Dean looked at Ness, heartbroken and unable to believe that this was actually Ness. "It's over."

§

Dungeon

Ness was once again strapped to the chair within the Devil's Trap, unconscious. Sabrina pulled the needle from her arm. There were needle marks on Ness' arm now, close by the Mark of Cain.

"What the hell are we doing to her?" Catty asked. "I mean, even after we gave her all that blood, she still said she didn't want to be cured, that she didn't want to be Human."

"Well, I see her point," Castiel told them. "You know, only Humans can feel real joy, but... also such profound pain. This is easier."

Octavia nodded sadly in agreement.

Ness woke. Her eyes were black. The black dissolved out of her eyes. Ness looked up at them, moaning, exhaling, looking around uncertainly. Sam, Octavia, Dean, Catty, Sabrina and Castiel watched Ness carefully.

"You looked worried, guys," Ness told them.

"I see her face," Sabrina told them. "Her true face. It's really Aunt Ness. She's not a Demon anymore."

Ness looked up at them, surprised. They sighed in relief.

Dean smiled. "Welcome back, Loch Ness."

Ness looked down, trying to process what she had done what she had become, and what had just happened.

Library

Octavia was looking at the book of Demonic Possession, picking up the Practitioners Guide to Exorcism, flipping through it.

Sam walked in. "Hey."

Octavia set the book down. "How's she doing?"

"She's, uh... she's still a little out of it, but better, I think," Sam answered. "I mean, I think this whole thing... the blood cure, and the... all of it... really wrecked her. Dean's gonna go check on her." He hesitated, troubled. "Ava?"

"Hmm?" Octavia asked.

"I think we all know that one problem is solved, but one is still at play here," Sam told her. "Ness is no longer a Demon, but the Mark of Cain... she still has that. And sooner or later, that's going to be an issue."

"You know what, Sam?" Octavia asked, stepping closer. "You worry too much. Granted, it's all for very good reasons, but we just got Ness back. And you're all beat. One battle at a time, okay?"

Sam nodded. "Right. Yeah. One battle at a time. I would totally go with that code, Ava, except, knowing us, we deal with several fights that blend together."

"That's true," Octavia told him. She smiled a small smile, stepping closer, holding a hand over the sling on his arm. "And when the hell did this happen?"

"Uh, it's nothing," Sam told her. "Go ahead and leave it. It doesn't..." He chuckled. "Require healing from the Angel Ava on my shoulder. I won't even let Sabrina heal it."

Octavia tilted her head slightly. "Really? So Sam wants to handle the pain and the healing like the big, bad hunter he is. Is that it?"

Sam smiled a small smile. "Anyone ever tell you that you're a real smartass?"

Octavia smirked. "Repeatedly. And I never get tired of hearing it."

"Just like I'll never get tired of doing this..." Sam trailed off, placing a hand on her cheek, kissing Octavia for a moment.

Octavia had hand on his uninjured shoulder, pulling away after a long moment, smiling. "So, Sam, after this long, hard and trying day, what do you say about sitting here with whiskey and bourbon and getting drunk?"

"I say hell yes," Sam answered. Octavia smiled, tilting her head. "I could use the lighten of mood right about now, Ava. You're kind of hilarious when you're drunk."

Octavia smiled. "And I hear that you're a happy drunk. Should be a good combination."

Sam chuckled. "Yeah."

"See?" Octavia asked. "I don't need to be drunk to be funny."

Sam shook his head. "No. You just gotta be you, Ava."

Octavia smiled. "We just got Ness back, Sam. I say that's cause for some celebration."

"Yes, please," Sam told her.

Octavia and Sam smiled, leaning closer to kiss for a moment, becoming more passionate with each passing second.

§

Sabrina's Room

Sabrina was cleaning up the place. Catty was standing in front of the closed door. There was a knock on the door.

"Just a second," Catty called.

After a second exactly, Castiel walked in. Sabrina and Catty raised their eyebrows.

Castiel looked at them innocently. "I gave you a second."

Sabrina looked away.

Catty chuckled barely. "Said like any father. Ever. My God, you really are a dad. No, it's a good thing that you came in here, because you need to be here for this, too."

"Here for what?" Castiel asked.

Catty looked at Sabrina. "Let's ask the mind reader. Sabrina, why don't you tell Cas what I'm thinking?"

Sabrina took a moment to read Catty's mind, looking at her in surprise, sheepish and busted. "Mom..."

"You told Ness to kill you?" Catty asked.

Castiel looked at Sabrina in alarmed surprise.

"Only if I lost control," Sabrina answered. She was at a lost for words. "You know that I'm getting better. You know that it's not something we have to worry as much about as we did before. It's okay."

"No, that is not okay," Castiel told her. "It is far from okay."

"What else am I supposed to do?" Sabrina asked. "What if I do lose control? The Angel Blade won't kill me. The Demon Knife won't kill me."

"And, lucky for us, but sucky for you, neither can the First Blade, Sabrina," Catty told her. "So, Ness won't be able to kill you."

"It was a worst case scenario thing," Sabrina told them.

"Stop talking about it like it's going to happen," Castiel told her. "It's not going to happen. It can't happen."

Sabrina sighed. "What are you gonna do, ground me? That seems a little too far fetched, even for this family, doesn't it?" She looked at Catty. "And how is it any different than you telling Aunt Ness to kill you if I couldn't exorcise Abaddon from your body?" She looked at Castiel. "And how is it any different than you willing to die while you were under control of Crowley and Balthazar when they killed Aunt Ava and made you take in the Levis, as long as Levis got put back into Purgatory? Or Aunt Ness willing to die if it meant the Mark didn't change her like it did? Or Uncle Sam throwing himself into the Pit to stop Lucifer? Or Aunt Ava and Uncle Dean always sacrificing themselves to make sure that the rest of us are safe and alive, even if it means that they die, which led to their deaths, more than once?" Castiel and Catty exchanged a look, looking at Sabrina. "I know you don't want to think about it. I don't even want to think about it. But I'm scared. But I'm not scared of all of those freaks coming after us. I'm scared of myself, because I know that I am a bigger freak than any of them combined. That's why I asked Aunt Ness to do what I asked her to do. And that's why I want to save as many people I can save. Because if I can do that, then maybe I'll never get to that point. Maybe I won't be corrupted or turned. Maybe I can stay good."

Castiel and Catty looked at each other, looking at Sabrina.

"That's the plan," Catty told her.

Sabrina managed a small smile. Catty and Sabrina embraced, pulling away. Castiel and Sabrina embraced, pulling away.

"You're going to be fine, Sow," Castiel told her.

Sabrina smiled a small smile. "I know."

Catty, Castiel and Sabrina looked at each other, smiling small smiles.

Dean and Ness' Room

Ness sat on the bed, looking through pictures. Bobby and Karen Singer. Bobby and Ness. Bobby, Karen and Young Ness. Sam, Dean, Catty and Ness. Sam, Dean, Catty and Bobby. Dean and Ness on their wedding day in Vegas from 7.08 Season 7, Time For a Wedding! Ness put the pictures aside, standing, walking toward a tiny box on the dresser, opening it, revealing her necklace. She pulled it out, holding it by its chain, looking at the pendant somberly, thoughtfully, looking down in shame.

Dean slowly walked in. "You look better."

Ness sighed, turning to face him. "Liar. You know, I really have to thank Sow and Ava for today. I'm... really glad for them... stepping in when they did. And thank you, Dean. You, Sammy and Catty... for curing me." Dean nodded. Ness tried to fight back tears, looking down, trying to play it off. "So, what do you say, Dean? You want a divorce?"

Dean walked closer. "It wasn't your fault. Whatever you said, whatever you did, it wasn't really you."

Ness looked up. "I tried to kill you, Dean. Okay, and you don't know the things I've done."

"Yeah, actually I do," Dean told her. "Ness, we have been through so much. It's gonna take a lot more than trying to kill me with a hammer to make me want to walk away."

"You realize how screwed up our lives are that that even makes sense?" Ness asked.

Dean chuckled, nodding. He looked at Ness' Necklace still in her hand. "May I?" Ness nodded, sniffing, handing the necklace to him, pulling her hair aside. Dean stood behind her, latching the necklace on, a hand staying on her shoulder. "You want someone to blame for what happened? Blame Crowley. He's the one that got you into this mess." Ness turned to face him, letting a few tears fall. Dean shook his head. "Don't put yourself through this." Ness sighed shakily, nodding barely, looking down. "Hey, maybe we should, um... take some time before we get back to work. Get you healed. It's, uh... I don't know. The timing might be right. It's quiet out there."

Ness barely nodded in agreement, hesitantly meeting his gaze. Dean pulled her into his arms. Ness returned the embrace, closing her eyes, letting a few more tears fall. They were both relieved beyond words to be in each other's arms again.

(Song:) Sonata No. 1 in G Major, BWV 1027: IV. Allegro moderato - Peter Seidenberg & Elaine Comparone

A redheaded woman sat in front of a fire, reading a book. Two drops of blood dripped onto her arm. The woman looked up at the ceiling. Two men were pinned to the ceiling above her, dead and bleeding. The woman wiped the blood away. She smiled.
