THEN
From 11.09 "O Brother, Where Art Thou?", in the Bunker's library, Sam, Dean and Catty were sitting at one of the tables, arguing. Ness was standing nearby.
"You know, Lucifer was the biggest monster ever hatched," Sam told them.
From 10.23 "Lover's Keeper", outside the restaurant, Columns of black smoke erupted from the spots where the lightning had struck. They converged in one spot into a huge rolling cloud of black smoke, soaring toward Ness, Dean and Sabrina.
Sam: (voice over from 11.09 O Brother, Where Art Thou?) "Until we hatched one that's even worse."
From 11.09 "O Brother, Where Art Thou?", in the clearing, Dean and Ness were standing next to Aiden, in his stroller.
Amara/The Darkness was pacing around them. "I was the beginning, and I will be the end. I will be all that there is."
From 11.09 "O Brother, Where Art Thou?", in the park, Amara/The Darkness raised both her arms toward the sky, using magic to compel lightning bolts to strike down members of the crowd one by one.
Ness: (voice over from 11.09 O Brother, Where Art Thou?) "You're taking people's lives."
From 11.09 "O Brother, Where Art Thou?", in the desert, Sabrina and Amara/The Darkness were standing in the middle of the desert. Sabrina closed her eyes, tilting her head back toward the sky, raising her arms on either side of her in concentration. The clouds darkened and swirled around. A forceful wind was blowing around them. Lightning was flashing. Sabrina was emanating with blindingly bright white light that swirled around her with the wind. The light that surrounded her, her own power, was being channeled into the sky above her.
Sabrina: (voice over from 11.09 O Brother, Where Art Thou?) "I'm channeling every ounce of my power out of me into the sky above us so that I can hit you with everything I've got."
The wind was chaotic around them, like a wind storm, blowing the dust and the dirt around them. The dust and dirt surrounded them completely, as if it was a cocoon. The power in the sky above them was blazing brightly. Amara/The Darkness looked worried. Sabrina let go of the power. The power enveloped Sabrina and Amara/The Darkness completely, exploding all around them.
From 11.10 "The Devil in the Details" in the desert, it was dark, as if it was nighttime, but it was still day. Sabrina was starting to wake up. She was in pain, starting to sit up. She stood defensively, struggling to stay standing.
Sabrina: (voice over from 11.12 Don't You Forget About Me) "If I'm still healing after what happened..."
From 11.10 "The Devil in the Details", in the desert, the Darkness was almost in full form, inhaling the rest of the black smoke into herself. She was weak and unsteady, weaker than Sabrina was.
Sabrina: (voice over from 11.12 Don't You Forget About Me) "I'm sure she is, too."
From 11.10 "The Devil in the Details", in Hell's Limbo, in the cell, Octavia glared up at Lucifer in hate. "Yes."
From 11.10 "The Devil in the Details", in Hell's throne room, Rowena was wearing the Witch-catcher around her neck. She was performing the spell to send Lucifer back to his Cage, clapping her hands.
From 11.10 "The Devil in the Details", in Hell's Limbo, in the cell, there was a blinding flash of light as Lucifer took control.
From 11.10 "The Devil in the Details", in Hell's throne room, Crowley was sitting in his throne. Rowena was standing behind him. Octavia/Lucifer was standing by the door, smirking.
Rowena smiled. "Lucifer."
Crowley looked terrified. "Bloody hell."
From 11.14 "The Vessel", in Hell's throne room, Octavia/Lucifer was sitting on Crowley's throne. Demons were standing nearby.
A Demon opened the cage door, pulling out a landing with Crowley chained up in a floral shirt and khaki pants. He took the mussel out of Crowley's mouth.
Octavia/Lucifer: (voice over from 11.15 Beyond the Mat) "What about you, little puppy?"
From 11.15 "Beyond the Mat", in Hell's throne room, Crowley was kneeling on the floor, chained up, cleaning the floor with a toothbrush.
Octavia/Lucifer stepped on the toothbrush, kneeling in front of Crowley. "Just one minor tweak." He took the toothbrush from Crowley, touching him on the lip, smiling. "Use your tongue."
Crowley hesitated, lowering his head to lick the floor. Octavia/Lucifer smirked smugly.
From 11.14 "The Vessel", in the Bunker's library, Sam, Dean and Ness were sitting at one table. Castiel and Catty were standing nearby. Sabrina, Amara and Aiden were sitting on the floor.
"The Hand of God," Ness told them.
From 11.14 "The Vessel", on the USS Bluefin, Sabrina and Delphine were sitting across the table from each other. Castiel and Levi were standing next to them. Petey was watching over them. Delphine opened the box and cloth to reveal the Ark of Covenant.
Delphine: (voice over from 11.14 The Vessel) "The Ark of Covenant."
Ness: (voice over from 11.14 The Vessel) "Do you think we can use it against the Darkness?"
From 11.15 "Beyond the Mat", in the storage lockup, Crowley was holding the Rod of Aaron. The Rod started to glow. Simmons helped Octavia/Lucifer stand. The power of the Rod went into Crowley. Crowley started to illuminate with bright white light. He chuckled at the euphoric feeling. The glow faded.
Crowley: (voice over from 11.15 Beyond the Mat) "The Rod of Aaron."
Crowley held his hand in front of him. It started to glow with bright white light. Crowley threw the bright white light toward them. Simmons jumped in front of Octavia/Lucifer to take the blow herself, disintegrating into nothing. The blast was powerful enough to throw Octavia/Lucifer into the wall outside of the storage unit, making them fall to the floor.
From 11.14 "The Vessel", outside the Bunker, Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness and Amara were standing by the door. Sabrina walked toward Octavia/Lucifer in determination. Octavia/Lucifer pulled Castiel up from the ground, restraining him from behind, holding his Angel Blade to his throat. Sabrina stopped before she could make another attack. Levi held the Ark of Covenant in both hands in front of him, one hand beneath the other. It started to glow gold. The power entered his body, visible from beneath his skin. Levi started to illuminate with bright white light. The glow faded.
Castiel: (voice over from 11.14 The Vessel) "Lucifer's Caged. God's MIA. The only beings strong enough to battle the Darkness before Sabrina are gone."
Catty pulled Castiel toward her worriedly. Levi held his hand toward Octavia/Lucifer. It started to glow with bright white light. The bright white light enveloped everything.
Castiel: (voice over from 11.14 The Vessel) "If you're gonna fight her, what better way to arm up than with an actual dose of His power?"
Octavia/Lucifer, Sabrina, Sam, Dean, Catty, Castiel, Ness and Amara closed their eyes at the brightness. The light finally faded. Sabrina, Sam, Dean, Castiel, Ness, Amara and Levi looked around. Octavia/Lucifer was gone.
Levi: (voice over from 11.14 The Vessel) "And a Hand of God can only be used once."
From 11.15 "Beyond the Mat", in the storage lockup, Octavia/Lucifer was still on the floor, looking up at Crowley. Crowley chuckled, trying to throw another burst of light toward them. Octavia/Lucifer cringed. Nothing happened.
Octavia/Lucifer smirked, standing, brushing off Ava's clothes, walking closer. "You're out of juice, huh?"
Octavia/Lucifer punched Crowley in the face, making him fall over the table, roll over it and fall to the floor on the other side. He walked closer to the table, looking over it to the floor on the other side.
Catty: (voice over from 11.15 Beyond the Mat) "We got jack on another Hand of God and the Darkness."
From 11.15 "Beyond the Mat", in the Bunker's library, the family was talking.
"And we've got even less jack on how to save Ava," Catty told them.
From 9.10 "Road Trip", in the warehouse, Young Sabrina and Sam/Gadreel the Angel sat in chairs, facing each other. Dean, Catty, Ness, Octavia, Castiel and Crowley were standing around them. Sabrina's essence poured out of Young Sabrina's mouth, into Sam's. Both Young Sabrina and Sam/Gadreel fell unconscious.
From 9.10 "Road Trip", in Sam's Mind Space, the Bunker's library, Young Sabrina grabbed Gadreel's shoulders, pushing him to the floor in front of them, putting her foot over his neck, pressing down. The Bunker started to shake, all the glass shattering.
From 9.10 "Road Trip", in the warehouse, the warehouse started to shake, all of the glass shattering. Gadreel's Angel Grace flowed out of Sam's body, making everyone dodge the brilliant light as it flew out of the warehouse.
Sam: (voice over from 11.17 Red Meat) "Sabrina can obviously exorcise Lucifer out of Ava's body."
From 9.21 "King of the Damned", in the penthouse, Sabrina's essence left Young Sabrina's body, shimmying into Catty's body completely. They fell to the floor, unconscious.
From 9.21 "King of the Damned", in Catty's Mind Space, in the warehouse, Catty restrained Abaddon the Knight of Hell from behind.
Young Sabrina stood in front of them, grabbing either side of Abaddon's head angrily, concentrating, her eyes completely white, glowing bluish-white from within. The warehouse started to shake violently, all of the glass breaking. Abaddon's form between Catty and Young Sabrina turned into black smoke, being expelled from her body, soaring around them, making them duck instinctively. It fled the warehouse.
Sam: (voice over from 11.17 Red Meat) "But only if we can find them."
From 11.17 "Red Meat", in the Bunker's library, the family was talking.
"I'll check in with Levi," Sabrina told them. "See what he's learned. Levi's been looking for Lucifer, Aunt Ava and other Hands of God. Maybe he's had better luck than we've had."
NOW
§
Day One
Night - An-Nafud Desert, Saudi Arabia
There was an aerial view of a tent in the desert. It was surrounded by torch flames.
§
Tent
A man in white robes walked in, joining three other men.
The men were talking in Arabic. They sat for a drink.
The tent began to shake.
The wind was howling outside.
Crowley appeared. "أين هو؟. ('Ayn hw?) [Where is he?]" One of the men gestured the way, pulling back a curtain for Crowley to enter. Crowley walked through the curtain. There was another man inside, lying in bed. He seemed to be extremely sick. "Noel, I came when you asked. You're looking a trifle peaky." Noel chuckled weakly. "Do you truly have it?"
Noel nodded. "And it's yours... if you hold up your end of the bargain." Crowley pulled out a contract from his jacket. Noel sat up, sighing in relief. "I've had a good life... thanks to you. Very few of the world's secrets I haven't cracked. It seemed worth a soul... at the time."
"Oh, it always does," Crowley told him.
"Destroy that thing," Noel told him.
"Show me the object first," Crowley told him.
Noel nodded to the other man.
The man opened a wooden box, pulling out an item wrapped in a cloth, showing it to Crowley.
"A shofar," Noel told him. "The Horn of Joshua, touched by the Hand of God." Crowley reached to take it. "Easy. Easy there."
Crowley didn't take it, holding his hand toward the Horn to feel the power radiating from it. "It's authentic. I can feel it."
"Now tear that thing up," Noel told him. Crowley broke the contract in half. Noel smiled weakly, sighing in relief. "Thank God. I don't think I have long."
"How very prescient of you," Crowley told him. He twisted his hand, using magic to snap Noel's neck, killing him, letting the body fall. The other man walked through the curtain toward the other men quickly. Crowley picked up the Horn of Joshua, smiling. He pushed the curtain aside, walking out to the front. Four men have automatic guns aimed at Crowley. A man spoke Arabic distantly. Crowley raised his hands, but he did not surrender, slowly turned his hands, using magic to make the men turn and aim their guns at each other, dropping his finger as if to pull a trigger. They all fired, killing each other. Crowley looked around the room at the four dead, bloody men. "Amateurs."

Reno, Nevada, United States of America
Street
Crowley was walking down a dark city street.
Torrential rain was falling.
A siren wailed in the distance.
Crowley ducked into an alley, trying to stay out of sight. He saw a truck coming.
Several Demons were on the truck, carrying Angel Blades, their eyes black, searching for Crowley.
Crowley sighed, teleporting to the top of a building site, turning to leave.
An Angel Blade aimed at his throat stopped him from moving.
Crowley sighed, taking a step back.
Levi was the one holding the Angel Blade.
"Well, I haven't seen your face before," Crowley told him.
"That's because I'm not a Demon," Levi told him. "An Angel. But you are gonna help me, or this is gonna go through your throat. Crowley, I think you and I can have a nice, long chat without anyone hurting anyone. Or you can go see if those Demons of yours are willing to save you or kill you."
Crowley glared at Levi, knowing that he was screwed either way he chose.
Levi smirked.
§
Warehouse
The Darkness was lying on a table. She was weak. "How do I know that any of this is working? I don't feel any different, for all of your promises. I warn you, I'm not one to be trifled with."
A woman was working on a spell over the Darkness's back. "Shh. Mahday, eelohtah sah. Serloh, eelohtah." The Witch was revealed to be Rowena. "That's enough or now, poor wee thing, but you're coming along. I'll heal you just as I promised."
The Darkness sat up. "And who are you again?"
"One who communes with the natural forces and channels them to help the less fortunate, such as yourself," Rowena told her.
"Really?" the Darkness asked skeptically.
Rowena nodded. "Mm-hmm."
"You're his mother," the Darkness told her.
"Say what, dear?" Rowena asked.
"Uncle Crowley's mother," the Darkness told her.
"Uncle?" Rowena repeated in surprise.
"He tried controlling me when I was possessing Amara Winchester," the Darkness told her. "Did he send you to bring me back?"
"Heavens, no," Rowena answered. "My son and I loathe each other."
"Then why are you helping me?" the Darkness asked.
Rowena smiled. "Because you're going to win, my dear. Yes, I know about the grievance between you and your brother and His Archangel. I have my own ax to grind with Lucifer."
"You know him?" the Darkness asked.
Rowena scoffed. "Know him?"
§
Flashback - 11.10 "The Devil in the Details"
Night - Hell - Throne Room
Octavia/Lucifer grabbed Rowena's head, snapping her neck.
Crowley flinched.
Octavia/Lucifer let Rowena's body fall to the ground.
§
Now
Night - Warehouse
The Darkness and Rowena were talking.
"And yet, you live?" the Darkness asked.
Rowena nodded. "Aye. Like yourself, I'm a survivor. A hard life has taught me to be prepared. I, long ago, secreted within my person..." She revealed a scar on her right thigh. "A wee casket of powerful magic."
§
Flashback
Night - Hell - Throne Room
Octavia/Lucifer looked at Crowley, smirking, beckoning him to follow him with a finger.
Crowley looked terrified.
Octavia/Lucifer stood, turning around, walking toward the door.
Crowley stood, starting to follow him, looking at Rowena's body on the floor.
Crowley and Octavia/Lucifer walked out, leaving.
A spell was activated from Rowena's right thigh. It was a glowing purple energy.
Rowena: (voice over) "When the spell inside me sensed my life-force ebbing... it went to work."
The spell reached her heart. The purple energy traveled throughout her body.
Rowena: (voice over) "And I was revived."
Rowena gasped awake, sitting up. Her neck forced itself back into place. She healed completely. The purple energy faded from her body. She looked toward the door, looking furious.
§
Now
Night - Warehouse
The Darkness and Rowena were talking.
"Where is Lucifer now?" the Darkness asked. "He's hidden himself from me, and I, too, have a score to settle."
"All in good time," Rowena told her. "Right now, you're still weak from that pesky exorcism smiting."
"Yes," the Darkness agreed. "Sabrina Winchester. The True Hybrid. She's stronger than I imagined. And her goal wasn't to kill me. It was to exorcise me from her cousin Amara Winchester, and it worked. It's only a matter of time before she gains enough strength to come find and fight me. But what she did still left me very damaged. She nearly killed me. And you can fix that?"
"Aye, and so much more," Rowena answered. "You can destroy your enemies, and, I imagine, remake the world any way you choose. And I... will be by your side."
§
Day Two
Lebanon, Kansas
Morning - The Bunker - Outside
Crowley and Levi were waiting outside.
The family walked out of the Bunker, toward them.
Crowley sighed, looking at Levi. "Oh, of course you bring me to them. Now I know who you are. You're Sabrina Winchester's new Angel. Levi."
Sabrina crossed her arms over her chest. "Levi's not my Angel."
Crowley sighed.
Amara stood next to Sabrina, crossing her arms over her chest. "Not that she admits, anyway."
Sabrina turned to give her cousin a look. "Amara."
Amara smirked.
Crowley looked at Amara curiously. "So you're the real version of Amara Winchester. Is that correct?"
Amara glared at Crowley.
"Crowley, we're not doing this with you," Ness told him.
Crowley held his hands up in a harmless gesture. "I wouldn't dream of harming Amara."
"No, just trying to control the evil, primeval force inside me," Amara told him. "But controlling the Darkness went as well as trying to control Sabrina did."
"How does it feel to be a failure?" Sabrina asked.
Dean, Ness, Catty and Castiel smirked at Sabrina and Amara's amusement in Crowley's torment.
Crowley glared at them. "I'm lucky to be alive. Lucifer had me trussed up like a dog in my own palace. He kept me in a kennel." Sabrina and Catty smiled in amusement, smugly. "And he turned all his Demons... my Demons... against me. They scour the Earth, day and night, looking to kill me. If it wasn't for your new Angel Levi here, I would've been killed. Lucifer has to be dealt with."
"And how do you suggest we do that?" Sam asked.
Levi looked at Crowley. "Go ahead. Tell them."
"I'm getting to that, Levi," Crowley told him in annoyance. Levi rolled his eyes, pushing Crowley forward slightly for him to tell them. Crowley sighed, looking at the family. "Your only hope of subduing the Darkness is to match the level of power that she possesses."
"No kidding," Dean told him. "And?"
"And, I have the Horn of Joshua," Crowley answered.
"Joshua?" Castiel repeated. "As in the Joshua that won the battle of Jericho?"
Crowley nodded. "And I'm willing to entrust it to your capable hands." Sam, Dean, Ness, Amara, Sabrina, Catty and Castiel exchanged a skeptical look, looking at Levi skeptically. Levi smirked. "What? I just said I'd give you the thing."
Sam, Dean, Ness, Amara, Sabrina, Catty and Castiel looked at Crowley. "If?"
Levi was impressed that they all knew that was coming and that they had all said it together, smirking in amusement.
Crowley was taken aback. "Is this how you say, 'thank you'? You think these things grow on bloody trees?"
"Cut the crap, Crowley," Catty told him. "With you, there's always an 'if'."
"Fine," Crowley told them. "I will give you the Horn if you help me exorcise Lucifer from Octavia's vessel, and then return him immediately to the Cage."
Levi was impressed and surprised that his demand was what they had been trying to do, anyway. "Oh, that's all? Huh."
"Okay," Sam told them. "And where is this Horn?"
"Safely hidden, naturally," Crowley answered.
Sabrina nodded sarcastically. "Yeah."
"Crowley, even if Sabrina can exorcise Lucifer out of Aunt Ava, the Cage is damn near impenetrable," Amara told him.
Ness nodded. "Amara's right. It took a spell from 'The Book of the Damned' to spring Lucifer, and Rowena hid the book."
"And we would need both the book and her to even have a shot," Dean added.
"Did I say this would be easy?" Crowley asked. "No, I did not."
"Do you even know where Rowena is?" Sam asked.
"Rotting somewhere, I assume," Crowley told them. "Lucifer snapped her neck."
Amara and Sabrina sighed in exasperation, rolling their eyes in annoyance.
§
Heaven - Corridor
An Angel was putting new labels on doors to people's own personal Heavens for the people dying now, or soon to be dying.
Octavia/Lucifer was leaning against a wall, watching him.
The Angel noticed them. "Lucifer."
Octavia/Lucifer smiled. "Jofiel." Jofiel looked around, but they were alone in the corridor. "How's it hanging?" Jofiel looked at them in horror. "Easy, there."
"So perfect," Jofiel told him sarcastically. "Octavia, one of Heaven's most wanted, possessed by Heaven's most hated."
"I come in peace," Octavia/Lucifer told him. "I just want to be part of the action again." He tilted her head. "I want to lend a hand." Jofiel took out an Angel Blade, lunging forward to try to stab Octavia/Lucifer in the stomach. Octavia/Lucifer raised his hand to snap her fingers to make Jofiel explode like he had made Castiel explode in 5.22 Swan Song and the other Angel explode in 11.11 Into the Mystic. Instead, Jofiel disintegrated into Grace and smoke, dying all the same. Octavia/Lucifer was surprised, waving her hand to wave the smoke away. He patted Ava on the stomach. "Not exactly what I was going for..." He took a few steps down the corridor, smirking. "But it'll do."
Octavia/Lucifer smiled.
§
Meeting Room
Octavia/Lucifer had called a meeting for some of the Angels in a meeting room. "Okay, guys. You all saw Sabrina Winchester take on the Darkness, smiting the hell out of her to exorcise her out of her cousin Amara Winchester's vessel. And, yes, it freed her cousin, and yes, it slowed the bitch down, but it didn't kill her. It nearly did, but not quite close enough. I think you learned a valuable lesson here. Not even the True Hybrid can kill the Darkness. Not alone. But maybe she can with the help of all of us. You need me. You all need me." He looked between the Angels. No one answered. "All right. Not giddy with awe."
Octavia/Lucifer paced through the room.
Angel 1 looked at Octavia/Lucifer incredulously. "You... exploded Jofiel."
Octavia/Lucifer tilted her head. "No, actually, I didn't."
"You expect us to believe that Octavia did?" Angel 1 asked.
"No, because little Ava here didn't do it, either," Octavia/Lucifer answered. "Something inside Ava did. Somethings that didn't like the fact that Jofiel tried to kill us." He pointed at Angel 1, putting her hand on her hip, shrugging. "Just saying."
"God cast you out of Heaven," Angel 2 told him.
Octavia/Lucifer rolled her eyes. "And who do you think spread that tabloid headline?" He turned to Angel 2, walking closer, straddling his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck. "It was Captain G, the Eternal One. And why? Because I didn't buy in to His..." He leaned her forehead against Angel 2's intimidatingly. "Obsessive-compulsive love for mankind."
"Mankind is His creation," Angel 1 told him.
Octavia/Lucifer rolled her eyes in exasperated annoyance. "Oh, come on!" He stood. "It's not like He invented the Prius, which actually works." He turned to the other Angels. "I don't have to tell you people what a mess mankind is. The Salem Witch Trials." He stopped in front of another male Angel, straightening his jacket. "Third Reich..." He raised one of her arms in mock salute, clicking her heel against the floor, moving on. "Twin Towers. And, sure, every once in a while, He'll send down a little plague to straighten them out, but it's nothing permanent." He leaned forward against the table, looking over the Angels. "Humanity brought us Hiroshima and got a redo. I merely questioned His priorities, and I got the boot."
"He said you're evil," Angel 2 told him.
Octavia/Lucifer glared at him.
The other Angels looked at Angel 2 in shocked alarm that he would say something like that.
"Incarnate," Angel 1 told him. "E--evil incarnate."
Octavia/Lucifer smirked. "It's marketing." He stepped away from the table. "He's creating a need in the consumer's mine." He pointed at her head, stepping closer to Angel 1, shrugging. "Can't be a Super Savior if you don't have a Super Villain."
The next Angel, Angel 3, was a female Angel, unlike the first two. "So, what are you offering?"
Octavia/Lucifer shrugged, crossing her arms over her chest. "Well, a way out of this pickle."
"By 'pickle', you mean the Darkness," Angel 2 told him.
Octavia/Lucifer nodded, uncrossing her arms to put her hands on her hips.
"You can reason with her?" Angel 3 asked.
"Well, I doubt that," Octavia/Lucifer told them. "But I can lock her away. This time for good. Done it before." The Angels looked at each other in surprise. "Oh, Pops didn't tell you that, huh?"
Angel 1 hesitated. "Once you've... gotten rid of her, you'll want... to stay around?"
Octavia/Lucifer smiled. "Oh, I like the way you think." He winked. A blonde Angel gave Angel 1 a look. Octavia/Lucifer clapped her hands. "Man, am I jazzed?" He sat on the table, crossing her arms over her chest, looking over the the Angels, smiling, biting her lip, winking. "Hey. If it makes you comfy, you could call me God."
§
The Bunker - Outside
The family, Levi and Crowley continued their conversation.
"Hold on, okay?" Dean asked. "Let's just put it in reverse. We will put Lucifer back in the Cage after we put the Darkness back on ice. It has to happen in that order, otherwise, there is no Lucifer, there's no Cage, there's no nothing."
"He's spent years marinating in hate against us," Crowley told them. "He has to go."
"Problem is, we may need him," Amara told him.
"He's been down this road with the Darkness before," Sabrina told him. "And even if I have the Hand of God in my hands, I still might not be powerful enough to use it against her."
"The True Hybrid, plus Archangel, plus God's power?" Levi asked. "That should do the trick. If not, I don't know what else will."
"He had me cleaning the floors with my tongue," Crowley told them. "He called me 'puppy'. He made me beg!"
"All right," Ness told him. "Come on. Is this what this is about? Huh? Your stupid ego? The fact that he dissed you in front of a bunch of stupid Demons? You're smarter than this. Come on."
"They're right," Catty told him. "Priority is to put the Horn in Lucifer and Sabrina's hands and set them loose on the Darkness."
"After we exorcise Lucifer out of Ava and put him into a new vessel," Sam told them.
"What?" Dean asked. "Really?"
"Yes, really," Sam answered. "We're not gonna send Lucifer into battle inside Ava. What if she doesn't make it?"
"Sam, it's a strong vessel," Castiel told him. "It's held Ava for years, and we know what she's been through. I'm guessing it can hold Lucifer."
"'It'?" Sam repeated. "It's not an 'it', Cas. It's Ava."
"Now, if it's the last thing I do, I'm gonna get Lucifer out of Aunt Ava and take down the Darkness, even if it means I have to take down the Darkness alone," Sabrina told them.
"Sabrina, this is exactly how we screw ourselves," Dean told her. "W--we make the... the heart choice instead of the smart choice."
"Oh, okay," Sabrina told him sarcastically. "Thank you, Dr. Phil."
"Ava is family," Sam told them. "Ava only gave herself over to Lucifer because Lucifer was gonna kill me, Dean and Catty in Hell. You remember that? And Ava said yes to save us. We owe it to her to save her. And I'm not gonna let that sacrifice be the thing that kills her. Again."
"It's killing me," Crowley told them. "I would rather stick white-hot skewers in my eyes than listen to you bitches bicker. I gave you the terms of my deal. If Lucifer's not back in the Cage, the Horn stays hidden."
§
Warehouse
Rowena continued to work her magic on the Darkness to heal her from the events of 11.09 O Brother, Where Art Thou? "You're healing nicely. Soon, you'll be shipshape and Bristol fashion."
"You seem pleased with my progress," the Darkness told her. "But I don't sense in you the capacity for kindness or... concern."
"Kindness gets you a hug, not a seat at the big boys' table," Rowena told her.
"And what is it you want?" the Darkness asked.
"Oh, like yourself, I want revenge on Lucifer," Rowena answered. "But more than that, I want to be there when you remake the universe to your taste."
"Oh?" the Darkness asked. "I'm told my tastes run towards the catastrophic."
Rowena nodded. "Aye. The Winchesters say you are all about destruction."
"The Winchesters are right," the Darkness told her. Rowena started to look worried. "But... what they call 'destruction'..." The Darkness sighed. "I call 'renovation'. My blueprints. Not God's."
"That's my girl," Rowena told her. "Do things the way you would have done them."
"I will," the Darkness told her. "And where do you fit into that?"
"Oh, I can be useful," Rowena told her. "Provide you with information on the troublesome family and Lucifer... their plans. And even if it is born out of my own self-interest, I... I care about you. I'm someone you can talk with. Confide in. Have you... have you ever had that?"
The Darkness shook her head. "I've always been alone."
"Oh, you don't have to be, darling," Rowena told her, reaching to touch her cheek.
The Darkness moved her head away, looking at Rowena seriously.
Rowena moved her hand away, wiping her forehead with her finger.
The Darkness stood. "Well. Whatever you're doing, it seems to be working. Maybe I should try a little test."
§
Heaven - Corridor
Octavia/Lucifer was sending Angels out to do a job. "Thank you. Hey, I like your spunk. There's always room for a go-getter in my organization." Angel 1 tried to walk past them. Octavia/Lucifer grabbed his arm to stop him, wrapping her arm around his shoulders. "Hey, I know I can count on you. But what about your people? They on board, or do we need to do a little wing twisting?"
"I'll have to think about it," Angel 1 told him nervously.
Octavia/Lucifer smiled. "Don't you think about it too long." He let Angel 1 go. Angel 1 started to walk away. "You know what they say. He who hesitates..." Octavia/Lucifer snapped her fingers, making all the Angels around jump in fear, but nothing happened, causing Octavia/Lucifer to smirk at their fear. "Disintegrates."
§
The Bunker - Outside
The family, Levi and Crowley continued their conversation.
"You know, this is a dick move, Crowley," Dean told him. "Even for you. You're not being reasonable."
"I don't have to be reasonable," Crowley told them. "I'm the King."
"Really?" Levi asked. "Is that why every Demon in Hell and on Earth are looking to kill you? Do every subject of a King look to kill their master? Seems to me that your reign as King of Hell is over."
Crowley glared at Levi.
Sam, Dean, Ness, Amara, Sabrina, Catty and Castiel smirked.
§
Heaven - Corridor
The Angels were still on their merry way.
Octavia/Lucifer looked at another male Angel. "You look great. Have you been working out?"
§
Warehouse
The Darkness closed her eyes, raising her arms to her sides, yelling the words. "Hear me!"
A pulse of energy enveloped the Darkness, erupting from her.
Rowena looked on in fear.
§
Heaven - Corridor
Angel 1 was walking alone.
There was a loud rumbling. The walls shook. The lights flickered.
A black cloud propelled itself down the corridor toward Angel 1.
Angel 1 turned around, running away.
§
The Bunker - Outside
The family, Levi and Crowley were continuing their conversation.
They could hear a loud crashing from outside all around them.
Ness looked up to the sky. "What the hell was that?"
§
Heaven - Corridor
Heaven rumbled and shook.
They could hear thunder and lightning crashing.
The lights were flickering.
Black smoke was flooding the hallways, soaring toward the Angels.
The Angels ran toward Octavia/Lucifer and the meeting room behind them.
Octavia/Lucifer faced the cloud of black smoke fearlessly, smiling.
The black smoke enveloped Octavia/Lucifer, pushing them back into the meeting room.
§
Meeting Room
The black smoke swarmed around the Angels, making them fall to the floor, flooding all over the room and attacking all of the Angels.
Octavia/Lucifer was on her back, watching everything, smiling knowingly.
§
The Bunker - Outside
The family, Crowley and Levi faced away from the Bunker, looking up to the sky.
The sky was enveloped with dark storm clouds and lightning. Thunder was crashing.
Sabrina could feel the power radiating from the Darkness.
Sabrina, Castiel and Levi all looked like they could hear something that the others couldn't.
"What?" Catty asked.
"Angel Radio," Castiel answered. "Dark clouds are enveloping Heaven, attacking Angels."
"Makes me glad that I'm not up there," Levi told them.
Sabrina sighed. "You know what, guys? That's her."
§
Heaven - Meeting Room
The black smoke was still attacking the Angels.
A light started to shine from within Octavia's stomach, keeping the smoke at bay until the smoke left Heaven completely.
Everyone stood, making sure everyone was okay.
Octavia/Lucifer smiled. "Well, that... that was nothing, ladies and gents. That was just Auntie Darkness displaying use of her power. And, uh..." He clicked her tongue. "Guess what? This? This is just a teeny taste of what's to come. So, clearly, my expertise is gonna come in handy. 'Cause God knows what's next." He closed her eyes. "Ouch. I almost forgot. Um..." He opened her eyes, pressing her lips together. "God doesn't care."
Octavia/Lucifer looked around, tilting her head.
§
Warehouse
The Darkness lowered her arms to her sides. She looked at Rowena, smiling, chuckling in awe. "Okay. I'm back."
Rowena looked at the Darkness in fear.
§
The Bunker - Outside
The family, Levi and Crowley continued their conversation.
"Okay," Sam told them. "So, now we all just saw what happens when she's in a bad mood. Which, apparently, she's been in since the dawn of time."
Sabrina looked at Crowley. "She just rattled Heaven with a flick of her pinkie finger. That's not a big enough dose of reality for you?"
§
Warehouse
Rowena was sitting down, tilting her head back. Her eyes were white. She was listening and watching the conversation.
§
The Bunker - Outside
The family, Levi and Crowley continued their conversation.
"Why are we arguing?" Crowley asked. "We all know that he has to go back to the Cage."
"Yes, when it makes sense," Ness told him. "The Darkness is the big picture here now, okay? Look, in order to take her out, Lucifer and Sabrina have to use the Horn of Joshua. They do her, we do him. Check, please."
§
Warehouse
Rowena was sitting down. She pulled out of her trance, gasping.
The Darkness was waiting for news. "Well? What are the Winchesters preparing to do?"
Rowena shook her head. "Mm, nothing. Paralyzed with fear. Sabrina Winchester's as wounded as you are, my dear, after doing what she did to save Amara Winchester from you. Except, she doesn't have a Witch on her side to heal her like you have me. They don't know what to do."
The Darkness looked at her for a moment, critically. "You're right. You're actually handy to have around."
The Darkness patted Rowena on the face, walking away.
Rowena watched her go nervously. "Thanks. Lovely of you to say."
§
The Bunker - Outside
The family, Levi and Crowley were continuing their conversation.
"Crowley, tick tock," Ness told him. "You with us?"
"The crux of your dispute is your contention that not only Sabrina has to use the Horn to beat the Darkness, but needs the help of Lucifer, right?" Crowley asked.
"You got it," Amara answered.
"Well, that scenario only works if you actually possess said Horn, which you do not," Crowley told them.
"No, we don't," Castiel agreed. "But you do, so--"
"Exactly!" Crowley told them. "I do! This isn't a negotiation. I have the high cards, and you have... Hold on. Give me a second. Let me have a look. No cards! My offer stands."
"When we sprung Lucifer from the Cage, we had Rowena and 'The Book of the Damned'," Catty told him. "Both of which we will need to put him back in the Cage, both of which are gone."
Amara looked away. "Guys."
Catty looked at Crowley. "Back to you."
"Guys," Amara told them. "Look at this."
They noticed that spell work had been burned into the ground by the Bunker in the form of a message.
BACK FROM THE DEAD, FERGUS!
§
Old Church
Dean spray-painted warding onto the floor.
Sam held a wooden cross.
Catty poured Holy Oil around the warding on the floor.
Castiel, Levi and Sabrina walked closer.
Rowena lurked in the background, waving to them.
"I hate this," Castiel told them.
"Yeah," Dean agreed.
"And, by the way, where the hell is Crowley?" Sabrina asked. "I mean, we're essentially all set up."
"Yeah, I mean, he's the one that boxed us into doing this," Catty told them. "You'd think he'd have the decency to--"
Crowley appeared with the Horn of Joshua inside a piece of cloth. "Show up? He does. Because without the bait, well... a trap really isn't a trap, is it?"
Sam scoffed, pointing at the Horn of Joshua. "That's it? Doesn't look like much, does it?"
"First impressions can be deceiving, Moose," Crowley told him. "For instance, I once thought of you as dull and plodding." Sam glared. "Oh, never mind. Bad analogy."
"For the record, we still think this is a bad idea," Dean told him. "We should be using Lucifer, not icing him."
"I'm aware," Crowley told them. "So, I'll be standing right here should you hesitate. The hand that giveth can so quickly taketh away."
"Yes, we getteth it," Levi told him.
Crowley looked at Rowena. "So, Mummy, you were telling us your fascinating tale of resurrection. But you never did say exactly where you'd been this whole time."
"Same as you, Fergus," Rowena told him. "Hiding. Once the Dark Prince knew I was alive, I wouldn't be."
"No mucking about like last time," Crowley told her. "The warding and the Holy fire won't keep an Archangel but for a moment. If he shows up at all."
Levi took out a scroll. "Oh, he'll show." He handed the scroll to Sabrina. "I found this in one of Lucifer's old crypts. It's a summoning spell for the Archangel himself. Were any Human or low-rank Angel to perform the spell, he could resist. But if the True Hybrid herself were to cast the summoning spell, he wouldn't have much of a choice. All you, Sabrina."
Sabrina sighed. "Okay." She sat at a table. "Let's do this." She held her hand toward a bowl of ingredients with the spell, setting it aflame, reading from the scroll. "In nomine magni dei nostri Satanas, introibo ad altare Domini Inferi. I summon you to make an offer. The weapon by which its bearer can crush the Darkness forever."
Thunder crashed.
Catty looked around.
Rowena was terrified, leaving the room to hide behind the door.
Octavia/Lucifer appeared, standing on the painted warding within the Holy Oil, her back to them.
"Sabrina, now," Levi told her.
Sabrina held her hand toward the Holy Oil, igniting it in a ring of Holy Fire that surrounded Octavia/Lucifer.
Octavia/Lucifer turned to face them, smirking.
§
Octavia/Lucifer was still trapped in the Holy Fire and warding. He chuckled, crossing her arms over her chest. "I'm sorry. Your prayer implied that I'd be... joining the team, but I'm just not feeling the warm and fuzzy here." Sam, Dean, Catty, Castiel and Sabrina looked at each other somberly. Octavia/Lucifer looked at the Horn of Joshua wrapped in a cloth behind Crowley, using her hand to cover his mouth. "Wow. There it is." He looked at Castiel and Levi, winking. "Powered up by Dad Himself. Well, that bad boy plus you and plus Sabrina? That ought to take her out, all right." He clapped her hands, rubbing them together. "Let's get to it." He pointed at the Holy Fire. "Douse the flames." They didn't do anything. Octavia/Lucifer looked between them, snapping her fingers, tilting her head. "Or don't?"
"Catty, now," Castiel told her.
Catty cut the palm of her hand, slamming her bleeding hand against an Angel warding sigil on the wall next to her.
The Angel warding on the wall and within the Holy Fire started to glow the color of fire.
Octavia/Lucifer started to shake as the warding started to take effect.
"Ava?" Sam asked.
"Ava, show yourself," Castiel told her.
The warding pushed Lucifer back inside Octavia enough to where she could take control.
Sam walked closer worriedly.
Octavia struggled to keep Lucifer back. "Sam?"
Sam looked at her in relief. "Ava."
"What are you doing?" Octavia asked. "What--what's going on?"
"Ava, listen to me," Sam told her. "We don't have a whole lot of time, okay? You got to--" Lucifer knew what they were doing, fighting to get back control, pushing Octavia back down. Octavia was struggling so hard that the fight for control was making her body shake. Sam looked at her worriedly. "Ava?"
"Ava, show yourself!" Castiel told her.
Lucifer finally managed to regain control, fighting to keep Octavia back, starting to laugh. "Oh. Whoo! Uh, she's got to what?" He sighed. "You guys..." He laughed. "Ooh, you almost had me there for a minute. But these mail-order spells? They're just not what they're cracked up to be, are they?"
"Ava, expel him," Dean told her. "You got to kick Lucifer out. Do you hear me?"
"Honestly, she doesn't have a choice with the arrangement," Octavia/Lucifer told them. "But that's what she gets when she invites me in to save Sam, Dean and Catty Winchester, after all."
"Ava!" Sam told her desperately.
Octavia/Lucifer called her name to mock the way Sam had said it. "Ava!" Sam glared at him in frustration and anger. Octavia/Lucifer laughed. "You know, Sam, I thought that I could not take any more from you than I had taken from you while we had been in the Cage together. But this? Taking your little Ava and the lives inside Ava really takes the cake."
Sam looked at them in confusion.
Octavia/Lucifer smirked, opening her overlapping, waterfall leather jacket to expose her torso. There was a decent-sized baby bump.
The others stared in shock.
Crowley was stunned. "Bloody hell."
Octavia/Lucifer smirked at his reaction, closing her jacket. "Why do you think that I didn't come after you myself, Crowley, after you got away? After you tried to kill me and Ava with the Rod of Aaron?" Castiel and Sabrina looked at Crowley in suspicion. "You know I could've found you and killed you, Crowley. You had to wonder why I didn't. These two are slowing me down a little."
"Two?" Sam repeated.
Octavia/Lucifer smirked. "Oh, yeah. Two little twin Nephilims. Half Angel, half Human, stronger than an Angel, with a little sped up growing, faster than Sabrina, but not nearly as fast as Amara." He looked at Sam, tilting her head smugly. "I would have ditched this vessel a long time ago, if it had been any other Angel. But since Ava's your girl, and these Nephilims are your children... and since both you and your little Ava here are the reason why I went back to the Cage, well, I couldn't pass up on that opportunity to torture both you and Ava, could I?" He returned serious. "Hand over the weapon. What do you say? Or we can just wait for this warding to fail and I'll take it."
The spell work was starting to die. The warding was starting to fail.
Sabrina rolled her eyes. "Yeah, that's not gonna happen."
Sabrina's essence poured out of her mouth. Majority of it was black like Demon smoke. There was a glowing white smoke like Angel Grace writhing from inside of it, the bright white light shining through the black brilliantly. It poured into Octavia's mouth.
Sabrina's body fell unconscious in the chair she was sitting in.
Octavia's body was unconscious, remaining standing.
Rowena and Levi were astonished with what Sabrina was capable of, but Sam, Dean, Catty, Castiel and Crowley had seen her do this before with Sam/Gadreel in 9.10 Road Trip and Catty/Abaddon in 9.21 King of the Damned.
They were all stunned with what Octavia/Lucifer had just showed them.

Octavia's Mind Space
The Bunker - Control Room
Octavia was standing by the map table, pacing.
Sabrina walked into the Bunker, standing on the balcony above. "Aunt Ava?"
Sabrina zapped down the stairs.
Octavia turned to face her. "Sabrina." Sabrina walked closer instantly. Octavia and Sabrina embraced in relief. "Thank God."
"Are you okay?" Sabrina asked. She gestured to Ava's stomach. "Are they okay? What has Lucifer done to you?"
"I'm okay," Octavia told her. "We're okay."
"Do you know what's happening out there?" Sabrina asked. "We trapped the guy so that we can expel him so that we can put him back in the Cage."
"Well, that doesn't sound like a very good idea," Octavia told her. "You might need Lucifer's help to defeat the Darkness."
"Yes, we know that, but Crowley's the one that has the Hand of God, and he boxed us into doing this," Sabrina told her. "So, let's just get this over with so I can get the Hand of God and use it to kill the Darkness."
They heard Lucifer's voice, in the form of his previous vessel, Nick. "Solid plan." Octavia and Sabrina glared at him. Lucifer leaned against the doorway. "Really, Sabrina? You want to put me back in the Cage? Well, I'm not going anywhere, and neither are you."
Octavia and Sabrina exchanged a look.

Old Church
Octavia/Sabrina/Lucifer was still unconscious in the circle of Holy Fire.
"You know, she's been gone a long time," Dean told them. "I mean, what do you think is going on?"
"I don't know," Castiel told them.
"Can't you people do anything right?" Rowena asked incredulously. "Whilst all this dithering goes on, we're losing time. Look, the warding's beginning to fail."
Catty looked at Octavia/Sabrina/Lucifer. "Come on, Sow. Ava, what the hell?"
§
Octavia's Mind Space
The Bunker - Control Room
Lucifer pushed Octavia into the wall. "You second rate bean counter." He grabbed Octavia, turning around, throwing her over the map table, making her fall to the floor. Sabrina kicked Lucifer in the back, making him stumble. Lucifer turned to face Sabrina, trying to punch her. Sabrina ducked, punching him in the face, then the stomach, making him stumble back toward Octavia, spinning to kick him in the head, making him turn away, standing straight, trying to punch him. Lucifer caught her arm. Sabrina tried to punch him with the other. Lucifer caught that one, twisting her arms down. "You're not gonna beat the Darkness without me, Sabrina. You know it."
"I have more faith in my family and myself than you do," Sabrina told him, kicking Lucifer in the stomach, making him let go, punching him in the face.
Lucifer fell to the floor.

Levi lost his patience, picking up the wooden cross.
"Levi, what are you doing?" Sam asked.
"Maybe Sabrina and Ava need some help," Levi told them. He held the cross toward Octavia/Sabrina/Lucifer, looking at Castiel significantly. "Exorcizamus te, omnis immundus spiritus, omnis Satanica potestas..."

Octavia was standing.
Lucifer was starting to stand.
Sabrina held her hand toward Octavia to tell her to stay out of the fight. She closed her eyes, concentrating, raising her arms to her sides, channeling every ounce of power and will and strength she had inside her.
The Bunker seemed to be shaking.

Sam, Dean and Catty splashed Holy Water and Oil over Octavia's body to help them.

The chant echoed through Octavia's mind.
Levi/Castiel: (voice over) "Legio diabolica, adiuamus te. Exorcizamus te, omnis immundus spiritus, omnis Satanica potestas, omnis cursio infernalis adversarii."
Sabrina still had her eyes closed and her arms raised to her sides, concentrating on exorcising Lucifer.
Lucifer smirked. "Ava, now would be a good time for those kids of yours to help you and Sabrina, and pitch in, but it wouldn't do any good, not when they don't know how to use their power."
"I wouldn't be too sure about that," Octavia told him. "I can channel their power."
Octavia closed her eyes, raising her arms to her sides, channeling the twins' power.
The Bunker seemed to be shaking, starting to glow with power.
Levi/Castiel: (voice over) "Omnis legio! Omnis congregatio et secta diabolica."
Lucifer's from was starting to turn into Angel Grace. He struggled to stay inside for as long as he could, glaring at Sabrina and Octavia. "No."
Sabrina and Octavia had their heads tilted back, their eyes closed, their arms raised, channeling every ounce of power inside both of them, including the twins', to help them exorcise Lucifer out of Octavia's body.

Levi and Castiel continued the exorcism. "Ergo, draco maledicte et omnis legio diabolica adiuramus te."
Angel Grace was starting to peak out of Octavia's mouth. It was struggling to stay inside.
There was an explosion of wall and glass at the back of the church, making them jump and stop everything.
Rowena hid behind the door, terrified.
The Darkness walked in.
Sam, Dean, Catty, Levi, Castiel and Crowley looked at her in shock.
The Darkness looked at the Holy Fire around Octavia/Sabrina/Lucifer. She waved a hand, putting the fire out.
"No!" Catty told her.
The Darkness noticed that Lucifer's Angel Grace was leaving Octavia's vessel. She used magic to push Lucifer's Angel Grace back into Octavia's vessel.

Sabrina and Octavia were forced to stop exorcising Lucifer.
Lucifer stood, smirking. "Seems like the Darkness doesn't like that you were trying to send me away."
"Sabrina, if the Darkness is here, you have to help them," Octavia told her. "Go. Now."
"Yeah, Sabrina," Lucifer told her smugly.
Sabrina glared at Lucifer angrily in hate. "This isn't over."
§
Reality
Old Church
Sabrina's essence left Octavia's vessel. It started to soar toward her own body.
The Darkness held her hand toward Sabrina's essence, making it stop midair so she couldn't return to her body.
Octavia/Lucifer woke up. He turned to see the Darkness.
"Oh, Lucifer," the Darkness told him. "Dear nephew, my, how you've changed." Octavia/Lucifer smirked. The Darkness looked toward Rowena, who was still hidden. "I was tracking her when she left my side."
Octavia/Lucifer shrugged. "You were safely sealed away. You're gonna wish you'd stayed there."
Octavia/Lucifer held her hand toward the Horn of Joshua on the table, using magic to bring it into her hand, turning to use it against the Darkness.
Sabrina's essence was still writhing, fighting against the Darkness' hold.
The Horn started to glow with power, the power seeping into Octavia/Lucifer's body. They started to glow with power, her eyes completely white. he held her hand toward the Darkness, sending a long stream of light into her chest.
Wind was starting to blow back everyone's hair.
The white light completely enveloped the Darkness.
Sam, Dean, Catty, Castiel, Crowley and Levi had to look away from the bright white light.
The power from the Horn faded.
The light faded into nothing.
The Darkness was still standing, unharmed.
Everyone was stunned and confused, in shock.
Octavia/Lucifer lowered her hand to her side.
The Darkness held her hand toward Octavia/Lucifer, using magic to bring them closer to her, making him drop the Horn. She put a hand on her head. "I think you and I need to have a nice, long chat."
"Ava?" Sam asked.
The Darkness looked toward them. She waved a hand toward Sabrina's essence.
Sabrina's essence was finally let go. It flowed back into her body. She woke up.
The Darkness made Octavia/Lucifer and herself disappear in a flash of bright white light.
Crowley disappeared, leaving.
Rowena made her exit.
Sabrina stood in shock. "No."
Sam, Dean, Catty, Castiel, Levi and Sabrina looked at each other in a combination of shock and disbelief.

The Bunker - Library
Aiden and Amara were sitting on the floor, playing with a few toys, including a small rubber ball.
Sabrina was sitting at one of the tables, looking down sullenly.
Sam, Dean, Catty and Castiel were standing nearby, looking somber.
Ness walked closer, handing the other adults each a beer bottle, keeping one herself.
"So, Rowena and Crowley, like mother, like son," Dean told them. "They both took exactly one split second to take off when things started going south."
Sam nodded in agreement. "Yep."
They each took a drink.
"By the way, what's Rowena doing with the Darkness?" Catty asked.
"My guess?" Ness asked. "She's playing the odds. When sucking up to Lucifer didn't work out, maybe she thought the Darkness was the best bet. Then she heard Sabrina and Lucifer had a shot, so she switched horses again."
Aiden rolled the rubber ball toward Amara.
Amara caught it, rolling the ball toward Aiden.
Aiden fiddled with the rubber ball and his other toys.
"I thought we had a shot," Dean told them. "Apparently, uh, Archangel plus God power doesn't trump God's sister."
"She only kept me outside of my own body because she knew that I could've taken her," Sabrina told them. "If I had been the one to use the Horn against the Darkness, do you think she would still be breathing?" They didn't answer, knowing that she wouldn't have. "Either way, Horn's out of ammo, so..."
"So back to square one," Catty finished.
Dean sighed. "Yep."
Castiel looked at Sam in guilt. "Listen, um... I know that I came down on the side of wanting Ava and Sow to deal with the Darkness, so..."
"Well, didn't we say that we were gonna swear off getting in the way when one person makes a choie the others don't agree with?" Sam asked.
"Yeah," Dean answered. "Um... yeah, we did say that."
"So..." Amara trailed off. "Okay. So, that's our policy."
"Which sounds damn good," Catty told them.
Sam looked down.
Castiel looked at him in guilt. "Sam, all I'm trying to say is that I'm sorry."
"I know, Cas," Sam told him. "You didn't know about what's going on inside of Ava. None of us did. How could we? Ava's been possessed by Lucifer practically the entire time she's been pregnant."
"Aunt Ava's gonna be okay," Amara told them. They looked at her. "Aunt Ava, the kids, all gonna be okay. Sow's gonna find them and save them and make sure that they're okay. And then Sabrina's gonna take out the Darkness. We can still win this."
Ness nodded in agreement. "Damn right." She looked at Sam. "We'll find them and bring them home."
Sam nodded.
Amara rolled the ball toward Aiden.
Aiden stopped the ball with his hands.

Warehouse
Octavia/Lucifer was thrown into the wall. He looked at the Darkness, chuckling nervously. "Okay." He raised her hands in a harmless gesture. "Look, I know you have a major beef with me." He lowered her arms. "You probably want to finish me. But you may want to rethink your position. 'Cause I could actually be of use to you."
"Really?" the Darkness asked skeptically.
"You hadn't considered?" Octavia/Lucifer asked. "We both have an ax to grind with God. I know His soft spots. He can't handle both of us."
"Do you, for one moment, think that I would actually consider trusting you for anything?" the Darkness asked. Octavia/Lucifer smirked. "I did trust you once. You and my brother conspired to seal me away for eons. But you're right. You might be of some use to me."
Octavia/Lucifer held her hands up harmlessly, stepping closer. "All right." He lowered her hands. "Good. Now we're talking."
The Darkness held her hand toward Octavia/Lucifer, using magic to push them against the wall, pinning them. "As God's favorite, His first son, you may be the one thing in all of creation that He still cares about." She stepped closer. "The one thing that could finally make Him show Himself so that I can confront Him and He can acknowledge the wrongs He's done me. And then He can witness the utter destruction of all His creation, before He Himself is swept away."
The Darkness turned away, stepping away.
Octavia/Lucifer smirked in amusement. "You're expecting Him? Oh. Well... I wouldn't wait up. I'm pretty sure He caught the last train out."
"Well... we'll see, won't we?" the Darkness asked.
The Darkness turned to face Octavia/Lucifer, holding her hand toward them, using magic to cause them a great deal of agony, with white light starting to glow from Ava's chest and eyes so much it made them scream in agony.
