chapter 15 - Beyond the Mat

THEN

From 11.10 "The Devil in the Details", in Hell's Limbo, in the cell, Sam, Dean and Catty started to vomit blood onto the floor, internal organs liquefying. Octavia was desperate to save them.

Lucifer smirked. "Any last words?"

Octavia glared up at Lucifer in hate. "Yes"

There was a blinding flash of light as Lucifer took control.

From 11.14 "The Vessel", in the Bunker's library, Dean, Sam, Catty, Ness and Amara faced Octavia/Lucifer. Ness was holding Aiden.

"We know who you are, Lucifer," Sam told him.

Octavia/Lucifer looked between them, smiling. "In the flesh."

Octavia/Lucifer smiled, laughing manically.

From 11.11 "Into the Mystic", in the woods, the Angel raised his Angel Blade to stab Octavia/Lucifer from behind. Octavia/Lucifer rolled her eyes, snapping her fingers, using magic to make the Angel explode in a rain of flesh and blood, splattering them with blood.

From 11.11 "Into the Mystic", in the Bunker's record room, Ness had her back to Octavia/Lucifer, looking at her phone. "Speak of the Devil."

Octavia/Lucifer turned her back to Ness, smiling at her choice of words when she was actually in the presence of the Devil.

Crowley: (voice over from 11.14 The Vessel) "Lucifer."

From 11.14 "The Vessel", in Hell's throne room, Octavia/Lucifer was sitting on Crowley's throne. Demons were standing nearby.

The female Demon stepped forward. "We have had a coward and a fool at the helm for too long."

A Demon opened the cage door, pulling out a landing with Crowley chained up and in a floral shirt and khaki pants. He took the mussel out of Crowley's mouth.

From 11.14 "The Vessel", in Hell's throne room, Crowley was sitting on the floor, chained up.

Octavia/Lucifer placed the tip of Octavia's Angel Sword underneath Crowley's chin. "I'm still your master. Did I let you out of that kennel too soon? What treasonous thoughts do you have brewing in that little head of yours, huh?"

"If you thought you could beat the Darkness, you'd be taking the fight to her," Crowley told him.

From 11.06 "Our Little World", in the desert, Sabrina was alone in the middle of the desert, in the middle of creating the storm, emanating with blindingly bright white light that swirled around her with the wind. The dust and the dirt caught in the chaotic wind continued to blow around, surrounding Sabrina completely, as if it was a cocoon, completely obscuring her from view.

Crowley: (voice over from 11.14 The Vessel) "You know that you will need the help of extraordinary magic."

From 11.09 "O Brother, Where Art Thou?", in the desert, Sabrina and Amara/The Darkness were standing in the middle of the desert. Sabrina was in the middle of creating the storm, emanating with blindingly bright white light that swirled around her with the wind. The light that surrounded her, her own power, was being channeled into the sky above her. The wind was chaotic around them, like a wind storm, blowing the dust and the dirt around them. The dust and dirt surrounded them completely, as if it was a cocoon. Sabrina let go of the power. The power enveloped Sabrina and Amara/the Darkness completely, exploding all around them.

Crowley: (voice over from 11.14 The Vessel) "But you also know that Sabrina Winchester would sooner exorcise you out of Octavia's vessel."

From 11.14 "The Vessel", on the German Destroyer, Sabrina held her hands to her sides, her eyes closed in concentration. Bright white light was emanating from her hands and chest. Shadows of unfurling wings appeared on the wall behind her. She opened her eyes. They were completely white, glowing blue from within. The ship was shaking and crumbling, debris and glass and electrical sparks falling. The light was starting to burn the Thule through, slowly eating away at them, until they burned away with the light completely.

Crowley: (voice over from 11.14 The Vessel) "And send your ass back to the Cage before she would ever team up with you to defeat the Darkness."

From 11.14 "The Vessel", in the Bunker's library, Sam, Dean and Ness were sitting at one table. Castiel and Catty were standing nearby. Sabrina, Amara and Aiden were sitting on the floor.

"Did you know the Nazis had a special branch devoted to archaeology?" Ness asked.

From 11.14 "The Vessel", in 1943, Delphine and the Thule man were talking.

"What does that mean?" Delphine asked.

The Thule man tapped on a very old wooden box.

Ness: (voice over from 11.14 The Vessel) "And they speak of a super weapon."

From 11.14 "The Vessel", in the Bunker's library, Sam, Dean and Ness were sitting at one table. Castiel and Catty were standing nearby. Sabrina, Amara and Aiden were sitting on the floor.

"Yeah?" Dean asked. "What was it?"

"'The Hand of God'," Ness answered.

From 11.14 "The Vessel", on the USS Bluefin, Sabrina and Delphine sat across the table from each other. Castiel and Levi stood next to them. Petey watched over them. Delphine showed the Ark of Covenant to them.

Castiel: (voice over from 11.14 The Vessel) "They're believed to contain traces of His power."

Sabrina looked at Delphine. "We're fighting a war in the future."

From 11.09 "O Brother, Where Art You Thou?", in the park, Amara/The Darkness raised both her arms toward the sky, using magic to compel lightning bolts to strike down members of the crowd.

Sabrina: (voice over from 11.14 The Vessel) "It's not like your war."

From 11.10 "The Devil in the Details", in the desert, The Darkness from the desert and sky was slowly closing in on itself, taking form of the woman Ness had seen in her vision in 11.01 Out of the Darkness, into the Fire. Smoke was still seeping toward her, as it stretched on for miles.

Sabrina: (voice over from 11.14 The Vessel) "It's big. Biblical, end-is-nigh big."

From 11.14 "The Vessel", outside the Bunker, Sam, Dean, Catty, Ness and Amara were standing by the door. Sabrina walked toward Octavia/Lucifer in determination. Octavia/Lucifer pulled Castiel up from the ground, restraining him from behind, holding his Angel Blade to his throat.  Sabrina stopped before she could make another attack. Levi held the Hand of God in both hands in front of him, one hand beneath the other. It started to glow gold. The power entered his body, visible from beneath his skin. Levi started to illuminate with bright white light.

Sabrina: (voice over from 11.14 The Vessel) "And we need your weapon to win."

The glow faded. Catty pulled Castiel toward her worriedly. Levi held his hand toward Octavia/Lucifer. It started to glow with bright white light.

Levi: (voice over from 11.14 The Vessel) "Its power is potent and unstable."

The bright white light enveloped everything.

Levi: (voice over from 11.14 The Vessel) "And a Hand of God can only be used once."

Octavia/Lucifer, Sabrina, Sam, Dean, Catty, Castiel, Ness and Amara closed their eyes at the brightness. The light finally faded.

Sabrina: (voice over from 11.14 The Vessel) "One time?"

Sabrina, Sam, Dean, Castiel, Ness, Amara and Levi looked around. Octavia/Lucifer was gone. Everyone looked at each other, breathing heavily.

Castiel: (voice over from 11.14 The Vessel) "Levi could've killed them. Both of them. But he didn't. Levi chose to let Lucifer walk, in order to save Ava, sending them away, to save the rest of us."

Day One

Brimson, Missouri

Night - Trenton Hall - Wrestling Arena

A low-budget wrestling match was underway in the ring.

A female announcer sat at the back table, commentating through a loud-speaker. "This is a barn burner, folks." Wrestler 1 pushed Wrestler 2 off the ropes. "Off the ropes..." Wrestler 1 picked Wrestler 2 up, swinging him around. "Picks him up..." Wrestler 1 slammed Wrestler 2's back over his knee. "Oh, it's a back breaker."

Wrestler 1 put Wrestler 2 on the mat, pinning him.

The referee hit the mat. "One... two..."

The crowd started cheering.

Wrestler 2 kicked out.

The announcer continued commentating. "Oh, but only a two count. The rookie, Shawn Harley, fails to take the Hangman down." Harley pulled Hangman to his feet. Hangman punched Shawn in the neck. "Oh, a stinger to the neck!"

The wrestlers had each other in a head-lock, looking down at the mat, speaking to themselves.

"Are you seriously drunk right now?" Harley asked.

"Just shut up and get ready," Hangman told him, letting Shawn go to hit him over the back, making him all to the mat.

The announcer continued commentating. "Oh, and it's a stinger to the back!" Hangman pulled Shawn up to his feet by his hair, slamming his head against the turnbuckle. "Takes him to the turnbuckle. Oh, and we know what's coming next."

A noose fell from the ceiling.

Hangman put the noose around Harley's neck. "Bring it on, baby! It's all over. I'm gonna hang his ass." The referee tried to intervene. Hangman punched the referee in the head, making him fall, grabbing the noose, putting it taunt so Harley began to gasp for air. "Oh, yeah, baby."

The announcer continued commentating. "It's all over now, folks. We have lift-off." Hangman tightened the noose around Harley's throat. Harley struggled to breathe. Hangman was enjoying the theatre of it all, screaming to the crowd. The crowd cheered in return. "As Harley's struggling to breathe now, he's turning blue."

      §

Locker Room

The wrestlers were in the locker room after the match.

Hangman was looking into his locker. "Has anyone seen my rope?"

Harley slammed the locker door closed, grabbing Hangman. "What the hell? I almost died out there."

Another wrestler walked closer to intervene. "Harley, back off."

"You're gonna take the wino's side?" Harley asked. "Really?"

The wrestler shook his head. "That's not what this is--"

"Whatever," Harley told him. "You old-timers like to stick together, right? Well, do us a favor, and keep a leash on your body, or he might get hurt."

Harley walked away, leaving.

        §

Later

Hangman was alone in the locker room, packing his bag, taking a drink of whiskey.

The lights went out.

Hangman looked around. "Hey!"

Hangman turned around.

No one seemed to be there.

A noose fell from the ceiling, tightening around Hangman's throat, hanging him.

Hangman clutched at his neck, choking.

Day Two

Lebanon, Kansas

Morning - The Bunker - Library

Sam was sitting at one of the tables, drinking coffee.

Dean and Ness were sitting at the other table.

Dean was looking at a laptop.

Aiden and Amara were sitting on the floor, surrounded by toys.

Aiden seemed to sense the somber, solemn mood of everyone, halfheartedly playing with the toys.

Amara held her arm around Aiden from behind him, leaning her head against his.

Catty and Castiel walked in.

Catty was holding a cup of coffee. "Hey, have you seen the, um..." Ness tossed Catty a bottle of Aspirin. Catty caught them. "Ah. Yeah. Thanks."

"Yeah, bottoms up," Ness told her.

Castiel looked at Dean. "Anything?"

"Maybe," Dean answered.

"A case?" Castiel asked.

"Doubt it," Dean answered. He looked at Catty and Sam. "You remember 'Top Notch Wrestling'?"

"Yeah," Catty answered. "Those, uh, wrestling shows Dad took us to when we were kids."

Ness nodded. "Mad dad used to take me, too."

Dean sighed. "Came across an obituary last night. Larry 'The Hangman' Lee died."

"Oh, no," Sam told them. "Wasn't he, uh..."

"He was Dad's favorite," Dean answered. "Anytime that noose would come out, Dad would be on his feet. It was one of the few times I ever saw him actually happy."

Catty nodded. "Yeah. I remember that."

"Anyway, the, uh, funeral's less than a day's drive," Dean told them. "I say we go pay our respects."

"Uh, don't you think our plates are a little full?" Sam asked. "I mean, it's bad out there, Dean."

"Yeah, Sam, you think I don't know that?" Dean asked. "We've done nothing but mainline lore for a week, okay? You haven't even left the Bunker."

"Sabrina and Levi are out there trying to find Lucifer so we can save Aunt Ava, but that might be a little harder than Sow thinks since he's a freaking Archangel," Amara told him.

"We've got jack on another Hand of God and the Darkness, and we've got even less jack on how to save Ava," Catty told him.

"Sam, there's a memorial show after the funeral, and I was thinking that we could all go together," Ness told him. "All of us and Sabrina."

"Amara and Aiden, too," Dean added.

Ness nodded. "You know, clear our heads. I'm burnt, man. Okay? We all are. And you... we need to get out of here. Let's go stretch our legs."

Sam looked at them wearily, looking at Castiel for help.

Castiel shrugged slightly, as if in agreement with the others.

Sam sighed, giving in, looking away.

        §

Woods

Sabrina and Levi were standing at a beacon in the middle of the a clearing in the woods, as opposed as their usual park since they had found out that Demons had been spying on them from afar, able to see a lake and a mountain range in the distance.

"Sabrina, if Lucifer doesn't want to be found, he won't be found," Levi told her. "We would have to find a way to lure him out."

Sabrina sighed, looking down. "I know. Have any other luck?"

"I've been looking for other Hands of God," Levi told her. "There's few and far between, but we could still get our hands on another one."

Sabrina looked away. "Yeah, one that we won't have to use against Aunt Ava."

Levi looked at her. "It's not Ava, Sabrina. At least, not right now."

Sabrina looked at him. "I know, Levi."

"And you were able to exorcise the Darkness out of your cousin Amara," Levi told her. "I'm sure that you'll be able to exorcise Lucifer from Ava a lot easier than that."

"Yeah, it'll be more like the times that I exorcised Gadreel from my uncle Sam and Abaddon from my mother," Sabrina told him. "But I need to find Lucifer and Aunt Ava first."

"I'll do anything I can to help," Levi told her.

Sabrina sighed, nodding. "Thanks. For helping me. For sending Aunt Ava away when you could have killed her and Lucifer right there. I mean, you don't have to do any of this, Levi."

"I want to," Levi told her.

"I know," Sabrina told him. "So, thank you."

Levi nodded.

Sabrina and Levi looked away over the view pensively.

Hell - Throne Room

(Song:) Brazil - Edmundo Ros

Demons were bustling around busily

Octavia/Lucifer was standing by the throne, looking over a scroll. "Oh, good. Yes. Remember, A-B-C. 'Always be closing'. The sooner you little storm clouds find me another Hand of God, the happier I will be." He walked further into the room. "All right. You're gonna look high, low, far and wide. Search every warehouse, every farmhouse, every henhouse, outhouse, and doghouse."

(Song Ends)

Crowley was kneeling on the floor, chained up, cleaning the floor with a toothbrush. He looked up as if he was hiding something.

Octavia/Lucifer looked at Crowley quizzically.

Crowley returned to cleaning the floor with the toothbrush.

Octavia/Lucifer walked closer. "What about you, little puppy? You have something to add?"

Crowley shook his head. "Nothing, master."

Octavia/Lucifer grabbed Crowley by his hair, lifting his head to make him look up, tilting her head. "Really?"

"I would tell you," Crowley told him. "I swear."

Octavia/Lucifer sighed. "I believe you."

Octavia/Lucifer let his hair go, petting Crowley on the head.

"May I return to my task?" Crowley asked.

"Oh, of course," Octavia/Lucifer answered. Crowley scraped the toothbrush over the floor. "Ah, ah." Octavia/Lucifer stepped on the toothbrush, kneeling in front of Crowley. "Just one minor tweak." He took the toothbrush from Crowley, touching him on the lip, smiling, winking. "Use your tongue."

Octavia/Lucifer stood, backing away.

Every Demon in the room was watching.

Crowley hesitated, lowering his head to lick the floor.

The Demons watched in amused disgust.

Octavia/Lucifer smirked smugly.

Brimson, Missouri

Larry Lee's Funeral

Sam, Dean and Catty walked in.

Sam and Dean were in FBI suits.

Catty was wearing a black dress.

The room was full of mourners.

"Guys, check it out," Dean told them. "It's 'The Scream' Casey Lyons."

Sam nodded. "Oh, yeah."

"There's Wrecking Ball Calhoon," Dean told them. "Wow. The Brooklyn Beast?"

"What happened to them?" Sam asked. "They're all... broken."

"Guys, guys," Dean told them. "Gunner freaking Lawless."

Catty nodded. "Hmm. Groupie much?"

"Shut up," Dean told her. "Should I go say hi? I should go say hi. I'm gonna go say hi." He walked toward Gunner. "Hi, s--sir. I, uh, saw you... saw you standing over here, and told my brother and sister that I--I should could over and say hi. So I came over, and, uh... Hi."

Dean was starstruck.

Gunner smiled a small smile, shaking Dean's hand. "Gunner Lawless."

"Oh, I know," Dean told him. "I--I got to tell you. I... worshiped you, growing up."

"Thanks," Gunner told him. He looked down at his hand, which Dean was still holding in a vice-grip. "I plan on keeping that hand."

Dean let go. "Oh, sorry. You know, when I was... when I was ten, I got my first B&E from borrowing some family's Pay-Per-View so I could watch the cage match between you and the Tower of Power."

"I'm not sure how I feel about contributing to your juvenile delinquency, but appreciate it all the same," Gunner told him.

"Yeah, uh, you were robbed, by the way," Dean told him.

Gunner nodded. "You bet your ass I was."

Gunner turned to his friends.

Dean smiled, so excited to have met one of his idols. "Oh, yes."

      §

Elsewhere

Sam was standing on the other side of the room, noticing the female announcer from the teaser. "Hey. You're Rio." Rio turned to look at him. "Y--you used to manage Superbomb Sanchez, right?"

"Oh, that was a long time ago," Rio told him.

"Well, yeah, b--but you--you--you look great," Sam told her. He stuttered awkwardly. "Sorry. Uh... wrong place. Wrong time. For both of us. It's just, y--you were my.... my first crush."

Rio nodded understandingly. "Ah. You weren't one of those guys that had my poster above his bed, were you?"

Sam looked embarrassed. "What? No." Rio looked at him quizzically. Sam changed the subject. "Are you still managing?"

"Oh, no," Rio answered. "I call some matches sometimes, but I'm mostly behind the curtain, you know, booking the shows and taking care of the guys."

Sam nodded. "Yeah. Must be hard to see one go."

"Yeah, well... we spent a lot of time on the road together," Rio told him. "We're like family, and lately, I've seen too many of my boys be put in the dirt. I knew Hangman for 25 years. He was a good man. Great family. I just can't believe he would do this."

"Do what?" Sam asked.

Rio sighed. "Kill himself."

"Wait," Sam told her. "That wasn't in the obituary."

Rio looked around. "Ah. The family didn't want that advertised, so... speaking of which, if you'll excuse me."

Sam nodded understandingly.

Rio walked away, leaving.

      §

Elsewhere

Catty stood at the casket.

Sam and Dean walked toward her.

"Poor son of a bitch," Dean told them.

"Yeah," Sam agreed. "You know, uh, word is..."

Catty nodded. "Yeah. I heard." She looked at Sam. "I know you're itching to get back, but, uh, the memorial show is tonight. And the family stills wants to go."

Sam sighed, nodding. "We should go."

Dean raised his eyebrows slightly. "Really?"

"Why not?" Sam asked. "World's still gonna be screwed tomorrow, right? Ava... Ava would kill me if I sat around the Bunker for months trying to figure out how to save her while completely disregarding everything else."

Catty and Dean looked at Sam in concern, nodding sympathetically in understanding and agreement.

      §

Night - Trenton Hall - Memorial Show

The family was sitting in the front row of low budget wrestling area.

Rio was announcing the wrestling match. "The Brooklyn Beast returns against Rush in an epic Iron Man match up. All right, let me hear you make some noise. Are you ready?"

Ness looked around. "You know, I remember the Top Notch shows being grander, you know? Top notch."

"Yeah, well, you drink enough, it'll be just like old times," Dean told them. Rio exited the ring. She saw Sam, smiling, waving, walking away, leaving. Dean and Catty looked at Sam in disbelief. "Rio? You dog."

"Oh, shut up," Sam told him. "Dude, we met at the wake. She's nice."

"Did you tell her you used to have a poster of her over your bed when you were a kid?" Catty asked.

"No," Sam answered.

Sabrina appeared in the seat on the other side of Castiel.

"Sabrina, hey," Amara told her.

"Hi, Amara," Sabrina told her.

"Are you okay?" Castiel asked.

"Been better," Sabrina answered.

Catty handed a smoothie to Sabrina, and one to Amara.

Sabrina took a drink.

Amara took a few snacks from Catty.

"Get this," Catty told them. "Guy at the wake told me they're only making 25 bucks tonight."

"That's it?" Amara asked.

"Yeah," Catty answered.

"Now, that hardly seems worth it," Dean told them. "Yeah, think about that. Town after town, putting your ass on the line for next to nothing? No money. No glory. Wow."

"You realize you just literally described our jobs," Ness told him.

Dean considered this.

Other patrons sat in the seats behind Sabrina, Castiel, Catty, Sam, Amara, Dean, and Ness, directly behind Catty and Sam, a man and his son accidentally bumping into them.

"Whoa," the man told them. "Excuse me, guys."

Sam and Catty spoke together. "It's all right."

"This is gonna be great," the man told them.

The son nodded. "Yeah."

"Got to love some wrestling, am I right?" the man asked.

Castiel nodded awkwardly. "Yeah."

"Beer's cheap, kid's entertained," the man told them. "Parenting." He looked at his son. "Remember, don't tell Mom how many I've had."

Sam looked from Catty to Dean. "Yeah. Now, that brings me back."

"You want to not try and ruin one of the nicest things Dad ever did for us, please?" Catty asked. "Thank you."

Rio announced from the table behind the seats. "Ladies and gentlemen... put your hands together for Hellrazor!"

A wrestler in a red tracksuit walked out into the crowd.

    §

Locker Room

Gunner was getting ready.

A man walked toward him. "Almost showtime. Got a little something for you."

The man handed Gunner a small piece of paper.

Harley was about to enter the room, seeing the transaction. He stepped back.

The man saw Harley in the shadows.

Wrestling Area

(Song:) Modern Day Cowboy - Tesla

The family was sitting in the front row, waiting.

Rio continued to announce from behind the seats. "And now, ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for Gunner Lawless!"

Gunner walked in, waving.

Dean jumped up from his chair, excited. "Yeah!"

Amara and Ness sat on either side of Dean, exchanging a look, smiling.

The audience of screaming for him, including Dean.

Aiden was in Ness' lap, looking around to see what was going on.

Gunner punched his chest, raising his fists in the air. "Oh, yeah! Right? Right?"

Dean noticed that Sabrina, Castiel, Catty, Sam and Amara were still sitting. "Hey, you guys aren't the lady with the baby. Get up. Show some respect."

The others stood.

Ness smirked in amusement.

Gunner held one hand in the air, taking that glove off. He pointed into the crowd. "Who's getting it? Who's getting it, huh?"

Dean looked at the others excitedly. "Ooh, ooh, remember this? This is where he takes a glove off and gives it to some kid before the match."

Ness could see that Dean really wanted the glove, smiling, standing, bouncing Aiden in her arms, cheering.

Gunner walked closer, pointing at Aiden. "Huh?"

Aiden smiled a dimpled little grin.

Gunner handed his glove to Ness to give to Aiden, walking toward the ring.

Dean looked at Ness curiously.

Ness looked at him innocently. "What? You thought I didn't see how much you wanted to be a kid again? Oh, but this? Aiden's."

"Yes, Ness," Dean told her.

The others smiled in amusement.

Everyone sat down.

The match began.

Gunner was in the corner of the ring, raising his leg to kick Hellrazer in the face.

Rio was commentating from behind the seats. "Big foot to the face!" Gunner stepped up onto the ropes in the corner, raising his arms to his sides to thrill the crowd. Everyone was cheering, including the family. "Lawless on the ropes now."

Gunner jumped down from the ropes, raising his arms over his head to strike Hellrazor.

Hellrazor ducked, punching Gunner in the stomach.

Everyone groaned.

Hellrazor grabbed Gunner, tossing him out of the ring to the floor, making him land next to Ness and Aiden.

"Get up," Catty told him. "Get up, buddy."

"Come on, man," Amara told him.

"You can do it, Gunner," Dean told him. "Get up, buddy."

Gunner winked at them, standing. Hellrazor came at Gunner with a metal chair, smacking him in the back of the head with it, making him fall. He dropped the chair, hauling Gunner back into the ring, getting back inside himself. He grabbed Gunner from behind in a headlock.

"Get out of it!" Sabrina told him.

Sam raised his fist in the air. "Gunner!"

Gunner began to stomp his foot on the floor.

Everyone joined in, chanting Gunner's name. "Gunner! Gunner! Gunner!"

Gunner charged backward, smashing Hellrazor into the ropes.

Everyone cheered.

Gunner strode around the ring, turning around, running toward Hellrazor, grabbing him around the neck.

Everyone cheered.

Amara did a little dance in her seat, smiling.

Dean and Ness smiled at how much fun she was having.

Castiel wasn't as enthusiastic about the entire event as the rest of the crowd was, but he was pleased and happy with how happy and the relieved the family was of stress for the time being. smiling.

Gunner threw Hellrazor across the ring into the other corner. Hellrazor ran toward him. Gunner grabbed him by the neck.

"Up and over!" Dean told him. "Up and over!"

Gunner slammed Hellrazor to the floor.

The referee hovered, hitting the floor of the ring, him and the crowd speaking together excitedly. "One, two, three!"

Dean jumped out of his seat, cheering loudly. Sam and Catty stood, applauding. Sabrina, Amara, Ness and Aiden laughed. Castiel smiled.

The man behind Sam and Catty looked at his son. "I got to drain the dragon. Be good."

The son nodded.

The man stood, walking away.

Rio commentated from the table behind the seats. "Oh, but it's all over now, folks."

Foyer

The man walked in, seeing a queue for the men's bathroom. He threw his hands up in annoyance, walking outside.

      §

Outside

The man walked outside, walking toward the shadows, walking toward the back of a truck to relieve himself. "Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes."

The man finished, hearing a noise, looking around, doing up his belt. He looked on in disbelief at whatever came at him, his eyes widening in horror.

Blood splattered across the truck.

      §

The place was a crime scene.

A police officer closed the ambulance door. "All right, you guys are good."

The ambulance pulled away, leaving.

Catty stood with the son. "Hey, buddy. Try to keep your head up, okay?"

The son nodded sadly.

Catty walked toward Sam, Castiel and Sabrina.

"Poor kid," Sabrina told them.

"Yeah," Catty agreed. She looked at Sam. "What'd they say?"

"You're not gonna believe this," Sam told them. "The body... was marked."

Sam showed them a picture of the body on his phone.

There were cuts across his back.

"Wow," Sabrina told them. "By what?"

"The cuts look deliberate," Castiel told them. "Ritualistic."

"Cas, you think this is a case?" Catty asked.

"You think it's not, Catty?" Castiel replied.

Sabrina sighed. "Okay. What are you thinking?"

"I don't know," Castiel told them. "A Witch, maybe?"

"You know what?" Catty asked. "Let's head back inside, get Dean, Ness, Amara and Aiden. Us girls will head back to the motel, look into the symbol. You boys go shake some trees."

Sabrina smelt the air, frowning, walking toward where the body had been found. "I don't think it's a Witch."

Sam, Catty and Castiel followed.

"Why?" Sam asked. "You find something?"

Sabrina brushed her hand across the ground, turning to show them yellow powder on her finger. "Sulfur."

Castiel sighed. "Demon."

      §

Inside

Dean, Ness, Amara and Aiden were inside.

Ness was holding Aiden.

Sam, Catty, Sabrina and Castiel walked toward them.

"Demon?" Amara asked. "Really? We can never get a day off, can we?"

"Doesn't look like it, Amara," Sabrina told her.

Aiden was looking at the empty ring expectantly.

Dean noticed. "What are you looking at, Aiden?" Aiden leaned out of Ness' arms toward the ring, trying to grab the ropes from afar, making playful, cooing, cheering noises. The others looked at each other in surprise, smiling. Dean smiled. "You like that? You wanna see something?" He took out his phone, handing it to Amara. "Amara, keep that recording. Aiden, keep watching me."

Dean looked at Ness deviously.

"What are you doing?" Ness asked. Dean didn't answer, smirking, rolling into the ring, hopping up, bouncing on his feet. He rolled into the ring again and again. Sabrina smiled in amusement. Sam and Catty smirked. Castiel was amused. Dean ran from rope to rope, bouncing off of them. Ness smiled, holding up Aiden for him to see Dean clearly. "Look at Daddy. Look at him go."

Aiden was smiling, laughing.

Amara smiled, filming Dean's stunts happily in amusement.

Dean strutted across the floor, reminiscent of 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair, raising his hands in the air. "Whoo!"

Aiden, Amara and Sabrina were laughing.

Sam, Catty, Castiel and Ness smiled.

Ness walked toward the ring with Aiden, setting him on the mat, sliding in with him.

Dean and Ness each had one of Aiden's hands.

Aiden was standing with their help, taking a few steps forward by hanging onto their hands.

Dean and Ness pulled Aiden along lightly, helping him walk through the ring.

Sam, Catty, Sabrina, Castiel and Amara smiled excitedly.

Amara walked closer with the phone to record the video more closely.

Aiden nearly fell to the mat.

Dean caught Aiden in his arms, raising him above his head to his shoulders, making an airplane noise.

Aiden smiled, laughing.

Dean got onto the top rope, raising Aiden above him like Simba. "Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba. Sithi uhm ingonyama."

Aiden was smiling, laughing.

Ness smiled, laughing. "No, you didn't."

"What?" Dean asked innocently. "It's the circle of life."

Sam chuckled. "You're an idiot."

They heard Rio's voice. "Sometimes the idiots have the best moves."

Everyone was startled.

Amara stopped the video, saving it, putting the phone away.

Dean handed Aiden to Ness, jumping quickly off the ropes, slightly embarrassed.

Ness hid a smile.

Rio walked closer.

Dean tried to exit the ring gracefully by rolling through the ropes, landing heavily and awkwardly.

Aiden laughed.

Sabrina tried not to laugh.

"Are you all right?" Ness asked.

Dean stood. "Yeah, good."

Ness sighed. "Oh."

Catty took out her badge to show Rio. "Uh, Agent, uh, Hart." She gestured to Sam. "This is my partner, Agent Roussimoff." Sam took out his badge to show Rio. "FBI."

Dean pointed up to Ness and Aiden in the ring. "The show was for my little boy, wife..." He pointed at Amara. "And daughter right here. Ness, Aiden and Amara."

Rio nodded. "I get it. Worth it to have a baby laugh like that." Ness smiled. Rio looked at Dean and Catty. "You two were at the wake, weren't you?"

"We were," Catty answered. "Yeah, and then the body dropped, and back on the clock." Ness walked closer to the ropes, setting Aiden on the floor of the ring. "Did you know the deceased?

"Oh, I... I sold him some tickets," Rio answered. "He had a kid, right?"

Ness exited the ring through the ropes, jumping down.

"Yeah," Sam answered.

Ness turned back to the ring, reaching through the ropes to get Aiden. "Come on." Aiden looked at Ness, turning to crawl away, further into the ring. Ness smirked, reaching through the ropes to grab Aiden around the waist, pulling him out of the ring. "Nice try."

Aiden laughed. Ness soothed back the little hair on his head, kissing him on the head.

Rio managed a small smile. "Maybe my boys are right. Maybe we really are cursed."

"Cursed?" Castiel repeated.

"Back in Shreveport, our first stop on the tour, a maintenance guy found a body stashed in a dumpster behind the VFW," Rio explained.

"Could I get a list of your whole crew?" Sam asked. "Wrestlers, roadies, anybody that you roll with?"

"Oh, we use locals for all the setups and concessions," Rio told them. "I can only afford to travel my boys."

"And where would they be right now?" Sam asked.

"Try the nearest bar," Rio told them. "I know that's where I'll be."

"Okay," Catty told her. "Thanks."

Rio walked out, leaving.

The family looked at each other.

Hell - Throne room

Crowley was back in his cage.

The female Demon opened the door. "We don't have much time. I'm getting you out of here. Now."

Crowley looked defeated. "I can't leave."

"You can," the female Demon told him. "You still have friends... people who want you back... who want Lucifer gone. I don't know what he's done to you. I can't imagine. But you're... you're not a slave, a dog. You're Crowley, and the Devil should be afraid of you."

Crowley looked at the female Demon warily.

Bar

Sam, Dean and Castiel walked in.

There was a girl dancing on the pool table.

Many of the wrestlers were enjoying a drink.

Harley was pouring tequila into a girl's mouth.

Sam, Dean and Castiel sat at the bar.

Dean looked at Castiel. "So, how'd you like the show?"

"The show was great," Castiel answered. "A bit odd, but our lives are a lot odder."

Sam nodded in agreement. "Yeah, yeah."

"It was worth it," Castiel told them. "Seeing Sabrina and Amara like that. Seeing Aiden like that. Catty and Ness, too. Seeing you two like that. Happy and relieved with an escape."

"Yeah, it felt damn good," Dean told them.

"Yeah, but now we're back on the clock," Sam told them.

"Oh, we're always on the clock," Dean told them. He looked around the bar. "So, how do you boys wanna do this. How you wanna see who's a Demon?"

"I would be able to see their true faces if anybody in this bar was a Demon," Castiel told them. "All of the wrestlers are here, but none of them are Demons."

"So, maybe the wrestlers aren't Demons, but doesn't mean one of them can't be working for one," Sam told them. "We've seen it before."

Dean nodded. "Right. A Demon making a guy punch his clock."

Sam waved for the bartender.

The bartender walked closer, pouring them a few shots.

"Thanks," Sam told her.

"You're welcome," the bartender told them, walking away, leaving.

Dean's phone rang. He pulled it out, seeing Ness was calling, answering. "Ness, what do you got?"

Catty, Ness, Sabrina, Amara and Aiden were in a motel room.

Sabrina and Amara were sitting on the floor with Aiden.

Catty and Ness were sitting at the table, researching.

Ness had her phone on speaker. "A lot, actually, Dean. Uh, so every stop on the Top Notch tour, somebody turned up dead. It didn't all happen at the venue, and most of them look like accidents, but they all had the symbol. Hangman, too."

"Well, I thought he killed himself," Castiel told them.

"That's what Rio said," Sam told them.

"But the cops are treating it like an open case," Catty told them. "They're thinking, and I quote, 'It's some kind of weird Satanic crap'."

"Awesome," Dean told them sarcastically.

"Yeah, it gets better," Ness told them. "That symbol? Ancient Sumerian. Said to have the power to 'pluck the spark of life'."

"And that means?" Sabrina asked.

"If we're thinking it's a Demon, then souls, maybe," Ness answered.

"Well, Cas can see that every wrestler in this joint is completely Human," Sam told them.

"We think that one of the wrestlers are working with a Demon," Castiel told them.

"Now, why would a wrestler work with a Demon?" Amara asked.

"Maybe they don't have a choice," Sabrina answered. "Demons can be scary to the normal people."

"Good thing we're not normal," Amara told them.

Catty chuckled in agreement.

"All right," Dean told them. "We'll be in touch."

Dean hung up.

Harley walked up to the bar, looking at the bartender drunkenly. "Yo! Sweetheart! Hit me again!"

Gunner walked closer. "Hey, Harley, go easy. I think you've had enough."

"Screw off," Harley told him.

"Just trying to help," Gunner told him.

"Like you helped me in Fort Worth?" Harley asked, turning to face Gunner. "What? You think I don't know you got me kicked off the card?"

"You wouldn't job to Crazy D, and I couldn't abide by that," Gunner told him.

"Yeah, I think you just can't stand the thought of me stealing your thunder," Harley told him.

"Kid, I got no worries about that," Gunner told him.

Harley turned as if to leave, turning back, punching Gunner in the face hard enough to make him fall to the floor.

Rio walked closer. "All right, that's enough."

Harley looked at Gunner. "Get up, old man. Or do you need your go-juice?"

"What?" Rio asked.

"That's right," Harley told her. "I saw him and his dealer. Your golden boy's a freaking junkie."

"He's lying," Gunner told them.

"Like hell," Harley told him.

"All right, all right," Rio told him. "Harley, we got two days till Memphis. Sleep it off. Gunner, I'll talk to you about this tomorrow." She pushed Harley back. "Go."

Harley walked out, leaving.

Dean stood, walking toward Gunner to help him stand. "Hey."

"Hey," Gunner told them.

"You okay?" Castiel asked.

"Ah, yeah, yeah," Gunner answered. "I've been hit harder by guys a lot tougher."

"Yeah, why, uh, why didn't you fight back?" Dean asked.

"I got nothing to prove," Gunner answered.

Sam raised his glass. "Well, hey. Here's, uh, here's to being the bigger man, right?"

Gunner raised his glass. "Obliged."

The boys each took a drink.

Sam looked at his empty glass. "I'm gonna need more shots. A lot more."

Hell - Throne Room

The female Demon led Crowley toward the door. "This way."

Two Demons walked in.

"Uh, I wasn't..." Crowley trailed off. He pointed at the female Demon. "She made me."

Crowley pushed the female Demon into Demon 1, distracting him. Demon 2 tried to stab Crowley with an Angel Blade. Crowley caught his wrist, turning it around on him, stabbing Demon 2 in the chest, killing him, making him flash with bright light, taking it out, letting him fall. Demon 1 pushed the female Demon off of him, lunging at Crowley. Crowley stabbed him in the heart, killing him, making him flash with bright light, taking it out, letting the body all.

The female Demon looked at Crowley. "How did you..."

Crowley smirked. "I'm Crowley."

Bar

Dean and Castiel returned to the bar.

The bar was mostly empty.

Sam was lying on a bench, groaning.

"Sammy?" Dean asked. "Hey."

Dean and Castiel exchanged a look, walking toward Sam.

Sam struggled to sit up. "You two back from taking Gunner and Harley home so soon?"

"You okay?" Castiel asked.

"Yeah," Sam answered.

"What happened?" Castiel asked.

Sam was slurring his words drunkenly. "Mostly tequila. Why is it so bright in here?"

"So, you said that you would stay here while I dropped Gunner off at his house and while Cas took Harley to his motel room so that you could get drunk," Dean told him.

"Yeah, well, it's been bit of a rough last couple months," Sam told them.

"All right," Castiel told them. "Let's go."

"Okay," Sam told them, struggling to stand.

Dean and Castiel turned to leave.

Sam laid back down.

"Dude," Dean told him.

Sam sat up. "I'm coming."

Sam stood, walking toward them, swaying slightly.

Motel - Outside

Sabrina, Catty and Amara stood outside.

Catty knocked on the door. "Harley. Harley. Hey, my husband Cas dropped you off earlier."

Catty looked at Sabrina, nodding.

      §

Motel Room

Sabrina, Catty and Amara appeared.

The room had been trashed.

Amara looked around. "Well, that's not good."

Sabrina raised her eyebrows. "Uh, you think?"

      §

Street

Crowley walked down the street, in his usual black suit and jacket attire.

The female Demon was waiting for him outside of a club called the Black Rose. "My lord?"

"That's better," Crowley told her. "Now let's go find the ace up my sleeve."

Crowley and the female Demon walked off together.

      §

Trenton Hall

The wrestling ring had been removed.

The room was big and dark and empty now.

Harley was bound to a chair.

There was a canvas covering the floor of the small dark room.

Harley was beaten and bloody. He struggled against his bindings. "Hey! Help!" Gunner walked toward him, drinking a beer. "Dude, what the hell is going on? Look, I know I've been a dick, but I'm sorry, okay? I took a shot at you. It was a cheap shot. It was... it was a cheap-ass shot. And I just... just don't hurt me. Please."

"It's not my call," Gunner told him.

Gunner's 'dealer' from the locker room walked closer. "Hello, Shawn." He let his eyes turn red, revealing he was a Crossroads Demon. "I'm your new best friend."

  §

Motel Room

Ness and Aiden were lying on the bed.

Dean was sitting next to them.

Aiden was rolling on the bed like he had seen Dean roll into the ring.

Dean smiled.

Sam was lying on the other bed.

Castiel was sitting at the table.

Catty, Sabrina and Amara appeared.

"Hey," Amara told them.

"Got something?" Dean asked.

"Uh, yeah," Catty answered. "Harley's room is trashed, and he's been taken."

"What?" Sam asked.

"Yeah," Sabrina answered. "And there were two scents in the room, but they had no trace of Demon in either trail. Which means..."

"Harley was not taken by a Demon," Ness finished.

"Right," Amara agreed.

"But I think one of the scents was familiar," Sabrina told them, walking over to Gunner's glove from the show on the table, smelling it. "Yeah. Scent's same."

Sabrina tossed the glove to Dean.

Dean caught it.

"Lawless?" Castiel asked.

"Yeah," Sabrina answered.

"So, Gunner's the one working for the Demon?" Sam asked. "Why the hell for?"

"Let's find him and ask him," Catty told them. "Sabrina, Cas, let's go."

Castiel nodded, standing, walking toward Sabrina and Catty.

Sabrina, Catty and Castiel disappeared.

Amara looked at Sam, Dean, Ness and Aiden, raising her eyebrows.

      §

Trenton Hall

Harley was still bound to the chair.

The Demon and Gunner were standing nearby.

"You want my what?" Harley asked.

"Forget what I want," the Demon told him. "What do you want? Money? Women? Glory? A big, shiny belt? Say the word, and it's yours."

"Because you're a Demon?" Harley asked.

The Demon shrugged. "Businessman."

Harley looked at Gunner. "Dude, what the hell is--"

"Eyes on me, champ," the Demon told him. "Think about it. No more crappy motels. Podunk towns. You'll have the life you always wanted. Gumdrops and G-strings as far as the eye can see. And all I ask in return is..."

"My soul," Harley finished.

"And your service," the Demon told him. "See, I might occasionally ask you to do me a teeny, tiny, little favor."

"What kind of favor?" Harley asked.

"The kill-somebody kind," the Demon answered.

"Why me?" Harley asked.

"Because I like you," the Demon answered. "You're brash and driven and hungry. I'm looking for new franchisees. Why have one when I can have two?"

Gunner looked sad and sullen, taking a drink of beer.

Harley looked at Gunner. "You did this?"

"Gunner's what I like to call a satisfied customer," the Demon told him. "So... do we have a deal?"

"No," Harley answered. "Look, man. I've never been much for God or whatever. I sort of just thought that when your curtain came down, that was it. Night-night. But if you're a Demon, that means there's a Hell. And if there's a Hell, there is a Heaven. And I'm not giving up my shot at paradise for a belt I can win on my own."

"That so?" the Demon asked, kicking the chair over, making Harley fall to the floor. He pulled out a switchblade, putting it close to Harley's face. "You're talented, Shawn. But the Human body? It's just so fragile. One injury, one wrong step, like say, if somebody severed your Achilles tendon... Poof, you're done."

"Duke, no," Gunner told him.

Duke glared at Gunner, holding the knife toward him.

Harley struggled against his ties.

Duke knelt next to Harley, severing one of his Achilles tendons, making him scream in pain. He looked at Gunner. "You're up."

"He's just a kid," Gunner told him.

Duke glared at Gunner. "Do it."

Storage Lockup

Crowley led the female Demon to a storage unit, opening the door, turning on the light.

"What is this?" the female Demon asked.

"My personal lockup," Crowley answered. They walked through the unit together. "Keepsakes, mementos, things I'd prefer the rabble not to get their grubby hands on."

The female Demon pointed at a painting of a child. "Is that you?"

"Oh, the good old days," Crowley told her, walking over to a table, clearing books off of a trunk.

"Why are we here?" the female Demon asked.

"For this," Crowley answered, blowing dust off the trunk. "The Rod of Aaron. Created by God on the sixth day and given to Aaron, brother of Moses. I knew it was powerful, but I had no idea that it was a..."

"A Hand of God," the female Demon finished. "Can I touch it?"

"With all due respect, Simmons, I don't think you can handle my rod," Crowley told her.

They heard Octavia's voice. "I bet I can." They turned to face Octavia/Lucifer. Octavia/Lucifer was standing at the door, walking closer, putting a finger to her chin, smirking. "Is it just me, or... is it getting a little phallic in here?"

  §

Trenton Hall

Gunner was standing over Harley's unconscious, bloody body, a knife still in hand.

Sabrina, Catty and Castiel walked closer.

Catty aimed her gun at Gunner. "Drop it."

Gunner turned to face them, dropping the knife.

Castiel walked closer, circling around Gunner toward Harley, kneeling next to him, feeling for a pulse. He looked at Sabrina and Catty, nodding. "He's alive." Catty was magically thrown against the wall, dropping her gun. She was pinned to the wall. Castiel stood. "Catty."

Sabrina turned around.

Duke walked out from the shadows. "Isn't this a fun surprise?"

  §

Storage Lockup

Octavia/Lucifer, Crowley and Simmons were in the lockup.

Octavia/Lucifer chuckled, walking closer to Simmons and Crowley mockingly. "You really thought you could double-cross me? Me? You know, I invented the double-cross. Like, literally. Of course, I couldn't have orchestrated all of this without the lovely, talented Simmons here." Simmons walked over to stand next to Octavia/Lucifer. "She, um... she hates you, B-T-dubs."

Simmons nodded in agreement. "Yeah. I really do."

"Yeah, they all do," Octavia/Lucifer told him. "Like, every Demon in Hell. Can't really blame them, can you? I mean, maybe once, you were the evilest evil that ever... eviled, present company excluded. But now... you're nothing but Ness Singer-Winchester's number one fan."

  §

Trenton Hall

Catty was still on the wall, pinned.

Sabrina, Castiel and Catty looked at Duke.

Duke looked between them. "Catty and Sabrina Winchester. Castiel." Sabrina used magic to push Duke into the wall, making him fall. Catty was let of the wall, stumbling before regaining her balance. Duke chuckled, standing. "Well, if half of the stories are true, then I should really get going, huh?"

Duke tried to leave.

Sabrina tilted her head. "Sorry. Can't leave, can you?"

Gunner looked at Sabrina, Castiel and Catty. "Who the hell are you people?"

Duke pointed at Catty. "That's Catty Winchester. An infamous hunter. That's her new hubby, the Angel Castiel. That's their daughter, Sabrina Winchester, the True Hybrid. Which means she's anything and everything under the moon that's still alive. Catty and Sabrina were two of the most feared women in the world... until they released the Darkness."

"Oh, honey, we're also the ones that are gonna take care of that," Catty told him.

Duke smirked. "I've been looking forward to seeing you and your family try. The name's--"

"We don't care," Castiel told him.

"Okay," Duke told them. "Small talk over."

  §

Storage Lockup

Octavia/Lucifer, Crowley and Simmons were in the lockup.

Octavia/Lucifer walked toward Crowley, pointing at him. "I knew you were hiding something. I could see that last spark of defiance in your eyes." He grabbed Crowley lightly by the collar of his jacket. "And rather than beating it out of you... which, doable, but messy... I let you lead me here." He pushed Crowley aside, walking toward the trunk on the table, sighing. "So, I'm gonna take this..." He turned to face Crowley, pointing at him. "And then I'm gonna take you. And, oh, puppy... you're not gonna like what happens next."

Crowley looked away.

Octavia/Lucifer turned to face the trunk on the table, smiling, opening it to reveal nothing inside. He realized Crowley played them, looking up in annoyance, closing the trunk, turning to face Crowley.

Crowley was holding the Rod of Aaron. "You looking for this?" He turned the Rod to hit Octavia/Lucifer in the face, making them fall to the floor. Simmons ran to Octavia/Lucifer's side. "You really think you could double-cross me? Me? I perfected the double-cross. Like, literally." The Rod of Aaron started to glow. Simmons helped Octavia/Lucifer stand. The power of the Rod went into Crowley. Crowley started to illuminate with bright white light. He chuckled at the euphoric feeling. The glow faded. "Whew! So, this is what it feels like to be God. Not bad. Tingly. So, if this can hurt something as powerful as the Darkness, I wonder..." Crowley held his hand in front of him. It started to glow with bright white light. "What can it do to you?"

Crowley threw the bright white light toward them.

Simmons jumped in front of Octavia/Lucifer to take the blow herself, disintegrating into nothing.

The blast was powerful enough to throw Octavia/Lucifer into the wall outside of the storage unit, making them fall to the floor.

  §

Trenton Hall

Sabrina, Catty, Castiel, Gunner and Duke were in the main room.

Harley was still unconscious.

Catty looked at Gunner. "So, what's your story, Gunner? What has you a bitch-boy for a Demon?"

"Yes, we know," Castiel told him. "We know about Hell and deals. All of it. What's he got over you? You sold your soul, didn't you?"

Gunner hesitated, nodding. "Ten years ago, I wanted another shot at the belt. 50,000 people screaming my name. I was desperate and dumb."

"But you only had the title for, like, a week," Catty told him.

Gunner nodded. "Desperate and dumb."

Sabrina looked at Duke. "Does Crowley know you're doing this?"

"Crowley's Lucifer's... to phrase it like your mother Catty... bitch boy," Duke told her. "Which is why I'm doing this, Sabrina."

"Stealing souls?" Sabrina asked.

"Building a nest egg," Duke answered. "With the Darkness out and the Devil running Hell, well, it's kind of ever Demon for him/her/shimself."

"So, why do you need Lawless?" Castiel asked.

"Well, I can't be everywhere," Duke told them. "When the G-man's deal came due, I gave him a choice. End up Hellhound chow or collect souls for me. I'm delegating. That's what good managers do."

"Sow?" Catty asked. "You wanna take this guy, or should I?"

Sabrina looked at Duke, tilting her head. "I'd love to."

Duke knew that he was going to get exorcised or killed, trying to punch Sabrina. Sabrina blocked the move. Duke tried to punch her. Sabrina blocked the move. Duke tried to kick her. Sabrina raised a leg to block the move, spinning around to backhand punch him in the face. Duke tried to punch her. Sabrina caught his arm, twisting it around, spinning around underneath it to flip him to the floor, kicking him in the stomach.

Castiel knelt next to Harley, starting to untie him from the chair he was tied to, noticing that the his Achilles heel had been slit.

  §

Storage Unit

Octavia/Lucifer was still on the floor, looking up at Crowley.

Crowley chuckled, trying to throw another burst of light toward them.

Octavia/Lucifer cringed.

Nothing happened.

Octavia/Lucifer smirked, standing, brushing off Ava's clothes. He felt the back of her head, showing the blood that was on her fingers to Crowley. "You made me bleed my own blood." Crowley chuckled nervously. Octavia/Lucifer walked closer. "You're out of juice, huh?"

Crowley dropped the Rod of Aaron to the floor.

Octavia/Lucifer punched Crowley in the face, making him fall over the table, roll over it and fall to the floor on the other side.

Crowley groaned in pain. "Bollocks."

Octavia/Lucifer walked closer to the table, looking over it to the floor on the other side.

Crowley had disappeared.

Octavia/Lucifer sighed in exasperation, looking away.

Trenton Hall

Castiel was still kneeling next to Harley's unconscious body, heeling him, white light emanating from his hand.

Duke and Sabrina were still fighting.

Catty and Gunner watched.

Duke stood, trying to punch Sabrina. Sabrina blocked the move, spinning around to backhand punch him in the face. Duke tried to punch her. Sabrina ducked, leg sweeping his legs out from under him, making him fall, standing.

Duke looked at Gunner, nodding to Catty.

Gunner picked up his knife, trying to stab Catty from behind.

Catty caught Gunner by his wrist, twisting his arm behind his back, taking the knife from him, turning him to where he faced away from her, putting the knife to his throat, but she wouldn't hurt him. "You screwed up, all right? Trust me. I've been there. But it is never too late to do the right thing."

"You really believe that?" Gunner asked.

Catty nodded. "I have to."

Duke looked at Gunner incredulously, standing. "What is going on? Kill her."

Gunner shook his head.

Castiel stood.

Sabrina put a hand to Duke's chest and shoulder, using the touch to exorcise him.

The black smoke slowly left Duke's host, lowering to the floor, burning its way through the floor into Hell.

Catty let go of Gunner, still holding the knife.

Hellhounds were howling in the distance.

Sabrina and Gunner looked up as if they heard the howls when Catty and Castiel didn't.

"What?" Catty asked.

"Hellhounds," Sabrina answered.

"I always wondered what they'd sound like," Gunner told them.

Castiel looked at Gunner. "Listen. I know that you didn't want this. I know that you only did it because you wanted to stay alive. Now, I hate that you made a choice like that, but you made the right one in the end."

Catty sighed. "Sabrina can kill the Hellhound. She can take out whatever comes your way."

Gunner shook his head. "No. I've never been a good man. I look in the mirror, and I hate the face looking back at me. I appreciate the offer, but, uh... I got this coming. I don't deserve to be saved. I don't want to be saved." They heard the doors threatening to burst open, hearing Hellhounds on the other side. "Go on. Get out. Now!"

Sabrina, Catty and Castiel exchanged a look, walking toward Harley, grabbing him, lifting him from the floor. They looked at Gunner one last time.

Gunner nodded for them to go and let him die.

Sabrina didn't like the idea of letting him die even after everything that Gunner had done, but took Catty, Castiel and Harley out of there anyway.

Gunner turned to face the doors.

The Hellhounds broke through the doors, running toward Gunner at full speed.

Lebanon, Kansas

The Bunker - Map Room

The family walked in, down the stairs, toward the map table.

Sabrina was upset.

"Are you okay?" Castiel asked.

"Not even a little bit," Sabrina answered. "I know the things that Lawless did. And I know that he made this deal himself, for selfish reasons, and he killed people and took their souls to stay alive. But I don't like leaving him to die. Not like that."

"Sabrina, you know what?" Sam asked. "He made a bad decision. We've been there. All of us. Now Ava."

Sam turned away.

Amara looked at Sam, Dean and Catty. "Aunt Ava did it to save you." She looked from Aiden in her arms to Ness, Sabrina and Castiel. "So that we wouldn't have to live without you. Aunt Ava couldn't let you die."

Sam sighed. "I know."

"Sam, we'll get her back," Catty told him. "We will. We just got to..."

"Keep grinding," Ness told them. "No matter how much it hurts, not matter how hard it gets, we got to keep grinding."

Castiel nodded in agreement. "Right."

Amara took a moment to consider, looking determined, nodding. "And that's how we're gonna win. And we're gonna win. We're gonna save Aunt Ava, we're gonna ice the Devil, and we're gonna shank the Darkness. And anyone that gets in our way, well, God help them."

Sam, Dean and Ness nodded. "Damn right."

Catty, Castiel and Sabrina nodded. "Damn right."

They looked at each other knowingly, nodding somberly.
