From 1.01 "Pilot", on the road, Cassie and Cami drove into Chance Harbor.
Melissa: (voice over) "Previously on Worlds Colliding (Secret Circle)."
From 1.01 "Pilot", outside the Blake House, Cami and Cassie got out of the car, looking at the house.
Amelia: (voice over from 1.01 Pilot) "My sweet Cassie and Camille. You finding this means I'm gone, and for that I am so sorry."
From 1.02 "Bound", in Cassie's room, Cassie and Cami were going through their family Book of Shadows.
Amelia: (voice over from 1.01 Pilot) "I didn't want you to have this life, but destiny's not easy to run from."
From 1.01 "Pilot", in the school hallway, Tricia, Eli, Elijah and Nick were standing together.
Adam walked up to them. "Have you seen them yet?"
"They got in yesterday," Nick explained.
From 1.01 "Pilot", in the witch house, the group was gathered.
"We're different," Eli told them. "You're different."
Fiona walked up to Cassie and Cami. "You're witches. You're full blooded, hundred perfect witches. We all are."
"The only one out of us here that is not a witch is Harper," Eliot told them. "He's a psychic."
From 1.01 "Pilot", in the woods, Adam and Cassie were floating water, nearly kissing. Nate and Cami exploded rocks into sparks, looking at each other, laughing.
Fiona: (voice over from 1.01 Pilot) "With them here, we have real power now."
From 1.01 "Pilot", outside the Chamberlain House, Dawn looked at Charles. "They've got the gift."
"Are you sure you can get Cassie and Cami to do what we need?" Charles asked.
Dawn shook her head. "The circle will take care of that without even knowing it."
From 1.04 "Heather", in the school hallway, Cassie and Cami were walking with Diana.
"Zachary said our mother did something terrible to Heather Barnes," Cassie explained. "He said it was worse than death."
From 1.04 "Heather", in Wade's trailer, Wade showed the comatose Heather to Cassie, Cami, Adam and Nate. "She hasn't moved in 15 years."
From 1.04 "Heather", in Cassie's room, Cami and Cassie were showing the Book of Shadows to Adam and Nate.
Cami pointed to the writing next to the sigil. "She put the spell on Heather, but she said that someone helped her with the spell. Someone named Letty."
Nate sighed knowingly. "Leticia Hartley. Tricia's mother."
From 1.04 "Heather", in the trailer, Fiona and Faye started to set up the ingredients that they needed to cast the spell. Cassie, Cami and Tricia stood together in front of Heather, reading the spell from the book together.
Heather: (voice over from 1.04 Heather) "Wherever there are witches, evil follows."
From 1.04 "Heather", in the Blake House, Cami, Cassie and Tricia faced Heather.
"Tell u who they were trying to stop," Cami told her.
"Demons," Heather answered with a growl.
From 1.04 "Heather", in the Blake House, Adam, Cassie and Cami were talking.
"We need to know what happened 15 years ago," Adam told them.
From 1.04 "Heather", in Nick's room, Melissa and Nick were sleeping in bed. The snake/demon slithered onto Melissa, creeping inside her ear, planning to take possession of her.

Day One
Morning - Armstrong House - Nick's Room
Melissa was still sleeping in bed.
Nick was already dressed, kneeling down on the bed behind her. "Wake up. We're late. Are you dead? Hmm?"
Melissa woke up with a moan, struggling to sit up. "Oh, I have such a headache." She laid back down, putting a pillow over her head. Nick kissed her shoulder to try and stir her awake. Melissa pushed Nick to the floor. "Get off!"
"What the hell?" Nick asked.
"I said my head hurts," Melissa told him. "I'm sorry." Nick stood. "I just really don't feel well."
Nick walked away to give her some space. Melissa laid back down. On her shoulder, the snake/demon was visibly slithering underneath her skin.

Blake House - Kitchen
Cassie and Cami were trying to get breakfast, both looking tired and out of it.
Jane walked closer. "Did you two get any sleep last night?"
Cassie managed a chuckle. "I did, a little."
"I didn't," Cami answered.
"I can't believe you two witnessed that terrible accident," Jane told them. "Poor woman."
"I know," Cami said.
"She was a friend of your mom's," Jane explained. "Heather Barnes. Did you know that?"
Cassie and Cami pretended they didn't.
Cassie shook her head. "No."
"She'd been ill for a very long time," Jane went on. "Homebound. I can't imagine what she was doing in this neighborhood. What were you two doing last night?"
"Um, nothing," Cami told her. "You know, just coming home."
"Where from?" Jane asked.
"Uh, nowhere," Cassie told her. "Just hanging out."
"Oh, with Diana Meade, Faye and Fiona Chamberlain, Tricia Hartley, those girls?" Jane asked.
"Yeah," Cami answered. "Is that bad?"
"No," Jane answered. "Not at all. I'm glad you've made friends so quickly. It makes sense, I guess, that you'd find each other."
"What do you mean?" Cassie asked.
"Just that you have so much in common," Jane answered. "Your parents were all such close friends."
Cami nodded. "Well, it's a small town, I guess."
"Your mother and her friends went through a lot together," Jane stated. "Ultimately, a lot of tragedy."
"Um, we should get going," Cassie told her. "School."
"How about I make us a nice dinner tonight?" Jane asked. "I'd love to catch up."
Cami nodded, smiling a bit. "Sure."
"There's nothing that you can't talk to me about," Jane told them. "You know that, right?"
Cassie nodded nervously. "Mm-hmm."
Cami forced a smile. "See you, Grandma."
Both clearly wrecked with guilt for having to lie to their grandmother, Cassie and Cami left the house to go to school.
❈
Chance Harbor High School - Hallway
Melissa was walking through the hallway, looking out of sorts, reaching to itch her shoulder, turning to look behind her, so she didn't see Dawn walk out of her office up ahead, and walked right into her. "Watch it!"
Dawn turned to look at Melissa in surprise. "I beg your pardon?"
"I'm so sorry, Mrs. Chamberlain," Melissa told her. "I don't know what's gotten into me today. I just feel really awful."
"Okay, it's fine," Dawn told her. "Just, please, watch where you're going."
Melissa nodded. "I will. I'm sorry."
Melissa walked away quickly.
❈
Outside
Cami and Nate were walking up to the school.
"Why can't we tell our grandmother?" Cami asked. "Maybe she can help us."
"What if she tells Diana, Max, Melissa, Fiona, Faye, Adam and Harper's parents?" Nate asked. "Then what?"
"I have no idea," Cami admitted. "You tell me."
❈
Inside - Hallway
Nate and Cami walked inside, down the hallway.
"They lied to them their whole lives, and so did my, Nick and Jake's aunt, and so did Tricia's aunt before she died," Nate told her. "They obviously don't want us to know anything. If they find out we do, this might all be taken away."
"Our magic?" Cami asked. "How?"
"Eli, Elijah and Eliot explained that our parents's circle was punished for their actions, having their powers stripped away," Nate explained.
Cami turned to face him. "By who?"
"The Elders," Nate answered. "We think that means the generation before."
"Like my grandmother?" Cami asked. "So she still has her powers?'
"I think so," Nate answered. "All the more reason not to tell her we're practicing it."
"I just, I hate lying," Cami admitted. "Cassie and I are supposed to have dinner with her later. Another night of pretending to be people we're not."
"I get it, believe me," Nate told her. "But the answers we all want about what happened 15 years ago, what if exposing ourselves means we never find out?"
Cami realized he had a point, sighing. "Nate..."
"I'm sorry, Cami," Nate told her. "I am. Guess it kinda makes me and Nick lucky since our aunt's never around so we don't have to keep lying to her, and Tricia doesn't have any family left to lie to."
Cami shook her head in concern and sympathy. "That's not lucky, Nate."
They managed small sad smiles.
❈
Dawn's Office
Dawn walked in, seeing Charles sitting at her desk, walking past him to sit at the other side.
"Heather Barnes was killed outside the Hartley, Blake and Armstrong houses last night," Charles told her.
Dawn put a file down. "Yes, I'm well aware. Right in front of our kids."
"You think she said anything to them?" Charles asked.
"She was supposed to be catatonic for the rest of her life," Dawn told him. "I'm not even sure how she was able to get out her front door. But we always knew binding the circle might attract unwanted attention."
"But I never thought they'd face this kind of danger, not so soon," Charles admitted.
"The more they're confronted with, the more they'll dig," Dawn pointed out. "And we're not equipped yet to protect them from what they might find."
"We will be," Charles told her. "The blood moon's tonight and I've got everything ready. Be at the boat at 10:00. You don't want to miss it."
"No, we don't," Dawn agreed. She walked past him toward the door. "What do you say we go back to using phones for these kind of conversations?"
Charles stood. "It's so nice to see you in person."
❈
Hallway
Fiona and Max watched as Dawn and Charles walked out of the office. Fiona had a glare. Diana and Faye walked by.
"Diana, Faye, I need help," Fiona told them.
Diana and Faye stopped.
"With what?" Faye asked. "Getting Diana and Max expelled? Then that I can help with?"
"No," Max answered, nodding down the hall. "Fiona wants to stop our parents from seeing each other."
"I know, Max," Faye told him. "Fiona was telling me, Tricia, Melissa, Cami and Cassie about her plan last night."
Diana tilted her head. "Fiona, Max, just relax for right now, okay? Our parents are finally seeing other people and they deserve to be happy too. I know you don't want it to get in the way of you two, and I don't either, but let them be happy, okay?"
"I want them to be happy, as long as they're seeing different people and not ruining me and Max," Fiona replied.
Faye smirked. "That's my sister. Go, Fiona."
"You are so not helping, Faye," Diana told her.
Charles and Dawn looked down the hallway to see Fiona, Max, Diana and Faye watching them, making things more awkward. Diana and Faye walked away.
Fiona and Max smiled sarcastically before walking away together.
"Fiona..." Max trailed off.
"I know what you're gonna say, Max," Fiona told him. "You agree with Diana, to let our parents be happy. But you do realize that you and me happened first?"
"Yes, I do realize that," Max answered. "And yes, I do prefer them to be happy with other people. I don't want to do anything to make anyone mad or hurt anyone."
"What happened to you going through your rebel scout phase?" Fiona asked.
Max tilted his head at her. "Look, just let them burn out on their own. You and I both know that even if they are starting to see each other, they're not gonna last. Pretty sure they'll end up hating each other sooner than we both think anyway."
Fiona smirked, impressed. "There's the dark part that I can get used to, Meade."
"And this whole manipulative thing for us to be together is a lot more caring and romantic for a Chamberlain than anyone expected," Max replied.
Fiona turned to face him, shrugging. "What can I say? I'm different from my mother and sister. Even if not by much."
Max smiled. "Hell yeah you are. More than you think."
Fiona and Max smiled, sharing a kiss, laughing lightly as they walked down the hallway.

Another Hallway
Eliot was walking down the hallway, looking around, finding Harper at his locker going through drawings, walking closer. "Harper?"
Harper jumped. "Damn it, Eliot, don't do that."
"What's going on?" Eliot asked. "You have your panicked look on."
"I've just been drawing more and more drawings all night," Harper answered. "I just couldn't stop."
"Did you get any sleep last night?" Eliot asked.
"No," Harper answered. "Did you not just hear me? This is serious, Eliot."
Eliot nodded in agreement. "All right, I'm listening. What were you drawing?"
"More and more snakes," Harper answered. "A lot of snakes."
"You mean demons?" Eliot asked.
"I guess so, yeah," Harper answered. "There's like snakes coming out of a suitcase or something. But I can't see anything else. Just the snakes, or demons."
"Harper..." Eliot trailed off.
"Don't tell me to relax," Harper told him. "Adam told me to relax because he thought we'd know about snakes coming out of a suitcase. There's darkness coming, Eliot. A lot of darkness coming. And I don't know if we can stop it or not."
Eliot and Harper were both worried.
Eliot nodded. "Okay. All right. Let's talk to Eli and Elijah. Maybe they'll know what to do."
❈
Another Hallway
Tricia was at her locker.
Eli walked closer. "Hey, Tricia."
"Eli," Tricia replied. "Come to tell me that you, Elijah and Eliot said 'I told you so' about not being ready for a spell like that, given everything?"
"No," Eli answered. "Just making sure you're okay. I know the spell took a toll on you, and Cassie and Cami, but not like what Heather did with you guys, Faye and Fiona."
Tricia nodded. "It was roller coaster, I'll give you that. I'm glad to know that Cassie and Cami's mom, and my mom, were trying to do the right thing, though."
Eli nodded in agreement. "I think we all were. And Diana, Max, Adam, Elijah, Eliot, Harper and I did want to apologize for not telling you before, and underestimating you. Nate didn't underestimate you, but he was worried."
"Yeah, you should," Tricia told him. "Nate and Nick know not to underestimate me, and you, Elijah and Eliot should too, Eli. I get why Melissa, Diana, Harper, Adam and Max would though. I'm just glad that I got to help Cassie, Cami, Faye and Fiona."
Eli smirked. "Is Patricia Hartley actually admitting she has friends that she cares about and likes to help?"
Tricia closed her locker, smirking sarcastically. "Bite me, Weston."
They chuckled, walking down the hallway.
❈
Another Hallway
Melissa walked to her locker, opening it, going through it, looking around when the bell rang. The other students in the hallway walked out of the hall, leaving Melissa alone. Melissa was soon overcome with pain in her head, gasping and groaning, hitting against the lockers, falling to her knees.
Nick and Elijah walked into the hallway, seeing Melissa on the floor in agony, running closer to help. "Melissa?"
"Are you okay?" Nick asked.
Melissa was suddenly no longer in pain, raising her head calmly, standing, turning to look at Nick and Elijah. "Nick. Elijah."
"Yeah, Nick and Elijah," Nick answered. "Are you all right?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," Melissa told them. "But I need your help."
"What?" Elijah asked.
"I found my family's Book of Shadows," Melissa told them.
"Seriously?" Elijah asked.
Melissa nodded. "But I don't want everyone to know just yet."
"Where'd you find it?" Nick asked.
"I was looking for a necklace in my mom's stuff and I found her diary," Melissa told them. "She writes all about hiding our family's book in the forest for protection. Will you help me find it?"
"Sure," Elijah answered.
Nick nodded. "That could be fun."
❈
Night - Woods
Nick and Elijah were digging through the ground in the woods, breathing heavily.
Melissa was standing above, holding a flashlight.
"You must have read it wrong," Elijah told her. "There's nothing down here."
"Trust me, it's there," Melissa told them.
Nick shook his head. "I am done. I'm about to pass out."
"Stop being such wusses and dig," Melissa told them.
Elijah continued to dig, hearing something clank. "Hey." He pulled out a suitcase from the ground. "What the hell? This thing weighs a ton. Are you sure the book's in there?"
Melissa smirked. "This is exactly what we're looking for."
❈❈
Blake House - Dining Room
Cami, Cassie and Jane were having dinner.
"How's the chicken?" Jane asked.
"Mm, delicious," Cassie answered.
"So good," Cami agreed.
"Thank you," Jane told them. "School?"
"Fine," Cassie answered.
Cami chuckled. "It's school."
"Pretty soon, we're gonna be talking about the weather," Jane told them.
They chuckled. "Sorry."
Cami took a sip of water, wrinkling her nose, noticing Jane looking at her. "What?"
"The way you just wrinkled your nose exactly like your mom," Jane answered.
Cami laughed, smiling. "Really?"
"What was she like, at our ages?" Cassie asked.
"Well, like both of you, beautiful," Jane answered. "Strong. So smart."
"Why did she leave here?" Cami asked.
Jane looked down. "Your mother kept a lot of thing from me. She didn't think I'd understand. You might feel the same way. When she was in trouble, I did not see the signs. If we were closer, if she'd come to me, I could have helped. I'll never forgive myself."
Cassie and Cami looked at her and each other sadly.
Cassie put on a smile. "You know, once Mom got something in her head..."
Jane smiled. "Ah, see? You know her better than you think." Cassie and Cami smiled. "Cassie, Cami, please don't make the same mistake."
Cassie and Cami's phones both went off. They checked their phones, seeing a text from Melissa:
Come to house, HURRY
"Everything okay?" Jane asked.
"Fine," Cami said.
"Ready for dessert?" Jane asked.
"Actually, we have to meet someone," Cassie told her. "But we won't be late. Thank you for the dinner."
Cami smiled. "Thank you. We'll be home soon."
Cassie and Cami left.
❈
Weston House - Outside
Eli was playing a round of basketball by himself, shirtless, jumping up to make a shot.
Eliot and Harper walked closer.
"You're good, Eli," Harper told him.
Eli turned to face them, sighing. "Thanks, Harper. Eliot, you've seen Elijah?"
"No," Eliot answered. "I was just about to ask if you've seen Elijah. Harper and I got to talk to you."
"Why?" Eli asked, taking a drink of water. "What's wrong?"
"Um, like I was telling Eliot at the school today, I've been up since last night, and I couldn't stop drawing snakes," Harper explained.
"Snakes like with Heather?" Eli asked. "You mean demons?"
"Yeah," Eliot answered. "And he's been drawing snakes coming out of a suitcase."
Eli frowned, walking closer. "That's creepy and ominous."
Harper scoffed in agreement. "Yeah. Eliot wanted me to talk to you and Elijah, because I think more demons are coming. Darkness is coming, Eli."
"And Harper doesn't know if we can stop it," Eliot told him.
Eli processed this all, getting determined. "No, we are gonna stop it. We have to at least try. Harper, if you draw anything else like this, let me know, okay?"
Harper nodded, relieved. "Yeah. Thanks, Eli. For taking me seriously."
"Psychics should not be taken lightly," Eli replied. "We've gotta go tell the others."
Eli, Eliot and Harper all got the same text from Melissa that Cassie and Cami had gotten.
"It's from Melissa," Eliot told them. "Come to house. Hurry."
"I got it, too," Harper told them.
"Well, hopefully the rest of the circle will be there," Eli told them. "Come on."
"You might want to put a shirt on first, Eli," Eliot told him sarcastically. "Though I'm pretty sure Faye won't mind if you don't."
Eli rolled his eyes, grabbing his shirt to pull it on. "Shut up, Eliot. Let's go."
❈
Witch House
Elijah and Nick were facing Melissa, with the suitcase on a table in between them.
Nate was here now too. "So you guys went to the woods because Melissa found a diary explaining where her Book of Shadows was?"
"Yep," Melissa answered.
"And you needed Elijah and Nick to dig up the suitcase," Nate stated. "Great."
"Well, let's just open it," Nick told them.
"No, don't touch it," Melissa told them.
"What's your problem?" Elijah asked. "This is what you wanted. The book."
"My mom put a spell on it to protect it and keep it safe," Melissa told them. "It won't open until we undo the spell. I'll get it started."
Nate pulled at the lock. "The lock's ancient. I bet I can get it open."
Melissa turned to face them. "No means no. Do you get it?"
Faye, Fiona and Max walked in.
"What's the emergency?" Max asked.
"Tell me this has nothing to do with Melissa and Nick's sex life," Faye told them. "Or you guys wanting to team up with Fiona and Max to make sure our parents don't get together so they can be together."
"It's a surprise," Nate told them. "Just give us a minute to prepare the spell."
"You text us to rush over here and now you want us to wait?" Fiona asked.
Tricia walked in. "What are you guys doing here?"
"You didn't get my text?" Melissa asked.
Tricia shook her head, raising it up for them to see the black screen. "Battery died."
"And anyway, she probably wouldn't have come if she had gotten the text," Nick told them. Tricia and Nate smirked. "Tricia doesn't come to this place unless she wants to, rarely when she's told to."
Tricia smiled. "You know me too damn well." She sighed. "So, what's the big deal with a text that I didn't see?"
"And why did you text me, Faye and Fiona to rush over here?" Max added.
"We sorta need help with a lock," Elijah told them.
"Well, what's the problem?" Tricia asked. "You've got seven witches here already, and Nate, Elijah, Fiona and Max can do solo magic, like Cami, Eli and Eliot."
"That's the thing," Elijah told them. "The lock's spelled. We can't open it until we de-spell it."
"Yeah," Nick agreed.
"What's the deal?" Fiona asked.
"Fiona," Max said.
"No, Max, just shh," Fiona said. "It's just some stupid case with some stupid lock."
Melissa's features looked hard and cold as she snapped at Fiona. "They're not stupid." The others exchanged a weird look. "Sorry. Really, I am. The big deal, Fiona, is that my family's Book of Shadows is inside."
Faye brightened up. "Another book? Really? In the case? Are you gonna hold it over me like Diana does with hers and Max's? Eli, Elijah and Eliot don't with theirs, but you wouldn't keep yours from me, would you?"
Melissa walked up to Faye. "Never. You're my best friend. There is nothing I wouldn't do for you."
The others were weirded out by the way Melissa was acting.
❈
Dock
Charles had set up a spell (or romantic atmosphere) for the blood moon, waiting on a boat.
Dawn walked closer.
"Hi, Dawn," Charles told her.
"Am I early?" Dawn asked. "You said 10:00."
"No, you're right on time," Charles answered. "Wine?"
"No," Dawn answered. "Um... we've got work to do."
"Of course," Charles agreed. "I've got everything set up. I just need to light these candles." He lit the candles. "We've still got 15 minutes. You sure you don't want something to drink?"
"Fine," Dawn sighed.
"Great," Charles said.
"You want these crystals as much as I do, right?" Dawn asked.
Charles nodded, frowning as if puzzled by the question. "Of course I do. To get our true power back, it means everything."
Dawn sat down across from him. "Then don't lose focus."

Meade House - Dining Room
(Song:) Why Do I Worry? - Lay Low
Adam and Diana were having a romantic dinner.
Adam was putting on a show of liking the food. "Since when do you cook?"
"Never," Diana answered. "But I just found the recipe online and followed instructions."
"This was amazing," Adam told her.
Diana knew better. "You're lying. I know, it's disgusting. I'm a horrible cook."
"Not if cooks are judged on effort and adorableness," Adam told her.
Diana smiled, tilting her head. "I miss this. It feels like we haven't been alone in forever. Remember when we were the only two witches, besides Max, and we found out Harper was a psychic?"
"Yeah, and then you had to go and ruin everything and tell the others," Adam told her.
Diana sighed. "Sometimes I wish Max and I never found the book, that it was just you and me again, being normal."
"Well, maybe tomorrow, I'll cook you something horrible," Adam told her.
They both laughed.
Diana smiled, standing. "Time for dessert."
Diana went to grab a tray, turning around, revealing it had ice cream and whipped cream on it, with a bottle of whipped creams, and the ice cream was still in a container.
"Should I get bowls or spoons?" Adam asked.
Diana picked up the bottle of whipped cream. "We're not gonna need any of them."
Diana sat on Adam's lap, straddling him, spraying a line of whipped cream on his neck, causing Adam to laugh, as she leaned closer to lick the whipped cream off his neck, kissing his neck, pulling away.
"You missed a spot," Adam told her.
"Oh, did I?" Diana asked, squirting more whipped cream on the other side of Adam's neck, leaning in to lick and kiss it away.
Adam was obviously very pleased, still teasing. "Nope. That wasn't it." He took the whipped cream, spraying some on Diana's chest, licking and kissing it away, causing Diana to laugh. They both stood. "Oh, here's another one."
Adam continued to spray Diana with whipped cream.
Diana laughed, running with Adam to her room. "Stop!"

Witch House
Melissa picked up a leaf, lighting it on fire.
Nick, Nate, Tricia, Faye, Fiona, Max and Elijah watched in confusion and fascination.
Cassie, Cami, Eli, Eliot and Harper walked in.
"We got your text," Cami said.
"You told them?" Faye whined. "What the hell, Melissa?"
"How many witches does it take to open a suitcase?" Tricia asked.
"All of us, I think," Melissa told them.
Nick leaned his head forward.
"What?" Fiona asked.
Melissa walked closer. "I'm sorry. I didn't think you'd come if you knew. But I think we need the entire circle for the spell to work."
Faye scoffed, walking away.
Eli looked at the suitcase. "Why? What's in there?"
"Melissa's Book of Shadows," Nick told them.
Cassie stepped closer. "Really? Let's see it."
Melissa's voice turned darker, demonic. "Why is everyone in such a rush to open the damn suitcase?"
The others exchanged a weird look.
Tricia and Nate looked at Nick for an explanation, but Nick shook his head, silently telling them he didn't know.
Eliot, Harper and Eli were watching the suitcase uneasily, remembering Harper's drawings about snakes and a suitcase.
"Why don't I just check to see where Adam and Diana are?" Harper asked.
Melissa acted completely normal. "Tell them to hurry." She turned around, walking toward the table. "They haven't been responding."
Eliot nodded. "Yes. Definitely tell them to hurry."
"Guys, we need to talk about Harper's drawings and that suitcase," Eli told them.
Eliot saw something slither in the suitcase. "Did you see that?"
"Yeah," Harper answered.
Cami turned to face them. "What's wrong?"
Max pointed at the suitcase. "The suitcase moved."
"Suitcases don't move," Cassie told them.
"This one did," Eli told them.
The suitcase moved again, and everyone could see it this time, backing away.
"Whoa," Eliot and Harper both said.
"It moved again," Eli told them.
Melissa turned to face them, her voice dark and demonic again. "Just stay away from it!"
"Melissa," Elijah said. "What's in the suitcase?"
Melissa slowly stepped closer, looking weirdly at all of them. "You'll see."
The snake slithered beneath the skin of Melissa's forehead, where everyone could see, and all of them watched in shock and horror.

Meade House - Diana's Room
(Song:) What the Water Gave Me - Florence + The Machine
Diana and Adam were making out, standing on their knees on the bed, undressing each other, laying down as they continued to make out, with Diana laughing as they did.
Their phones were going off. They tried to ignore the phones but couldn't for much longer.
"Who keeps texting?" Diana asked.
Adam let Diana up to go check her phone. "What?"
"It's Max," Diana explained. "They're in trouble."
Adam sighed, letting his face hit the bed in disappointment.

Witch House
Melissa was still doing the spell, while the others were in the other room, far enough away to where she couldn't hear them.
"What the hell is with her face?" Faye asked.
"That was the same thing that was in Heather," Cassie explained.
"The demon," Eliot stated.
"I guess," Cami answered. "I've never seen a demon before. Do they look like snakes crawling inside people's skin?"
"Let's get out of here," Harper told them.
"No, we can't leave," Elijah told them. "We have to get that thing out of her."
"How?" Cassie asked. "My and Cami's mother, and Tricia's mom, couldn't help Heather, and we don't know half the magic that they did."
"I don't care," Nick replied. "We have to save her."
Cami sighed, nodding. "You're right."
"Fine," Tricia told them. "Okay, mission: Save Melissa."
"But how?" Fiona asked.
"I don't know," Max admitted.
"I've got an idea," Eli told them.
"Great, because we need to do something, Eli," Nate told him.
They heard Diana's voice. "Guys? Are you okay?"
"Adam?" Harper asked. "Diana?"
They walked toward Melissa, as Diana and Adam walked in.
Eli picked up a wooden plank from the table, hitting Melissa on the back of the head with it, making her fall unconscious.
"What the hell?" Adam demanded.
"It's not what you think," Eliot told them.
Fiona shook her head in agreement. "Not even remotely."
❈❈
The circle had moved Melissa to a couch, tying her up.
"I guess it's possible that the demon got out of Heather and found its way into Melissa," Diana told them.
"You think?" Cami asked.
"So what's in the suitcase?" Adam asked.
Tricia stood from the couch. "Well, I'm guessing that it's not a Book of Shadows."
"If we're going by Harper's drawings, like we should, it's filled with more snakes," Eli answered.
"More demons," Eliot clarified.
The others were all stunned. "What?"
Harper nodded. "Yeah. I was hoping to tell you guys before anything bad happened, but the demon in Melissa was one step ahead."
Melissa launched up from the couch, gasping, thrashing wildly as she screamed.
"Get her down!" Eli told them.
Eli, Elijah, Eliot, Harper, Max, Nate, Adam and Nick walked forward to hold Melissa down.
"Let go of me!" Melissa growled, yelling. "Get off me!"
Melissa started to shake, causing the boys to let her go.
"Get away," Max told them. "Back up get away."
Everyone backed away, watching Melissa.
"What just happened?" Fiona asked.
No one had an answer. Melissa seemed to be herself again.
Nick looked at her worriedly. "Melissa."
Melissa managed a small smile. "Nick." She started to sit up, groaning. "Ow, my head." She looked down at her bound wrists. "What happened?" She looked up at everyone. "What's going on? Why are you all staring at me like that?"
"Are you okay?" Faye asked slowly.
"God, I can't feel my hands," Melissa told them. "These things are cutting into me."
"Let's get these things off" Nick told them.
Tricia reached out to stop him. "Don't. It's not her."
"Of course it is," Nick told them.
"Or she's faking," Elijah told him.
"Nick," Nate said. Nick looked at Tricia and Nate. "I'm your brother. Trust me. Trust your best friend. Tricia's right. It's not her. Like Elijah said, she's faking."
"Nick, don't listen to them," Melissa told him, nearly crying. "I'm in pain." She held out her wrists, begging for Nick's help because the demon knew that he was the weakest link there was in the circle when it came to Melissa. Nick leaned closer, looking into Melissa's eyes, searching. He might not have cared for much, but anyone could tell that he loved Melissa. Enough to know how to tell the difference between the faking Demon Melissa and the real Melissa. Nick turned away with a heartbroken sound, turning to Nate and Tricia, who both looked hurt by the pain that they saw Nick was in, reaching out to help. Demon Melissa screamed in outrage. "You worthless loser!"
Nick walked past them as Melissa yelled and screamed and thrashed, trying to get free. It was hurting Faye to watch this happen to her best friend.
"What are we gonna do?" Adam asked.
"She's gonna hurt herself," Harper told them.
"We can't just keep her tied up forever," Cassie told them.
"I can try my and Max's book," Diana offered.
"Diana's right," Max agreed. "But it's way out of our league."
"Eli, Elijah and I can try our book," Eliot added.
"Yeah, but I don't know if we're gonna find anything in ours, Eliot," Elijah told him, before looking to his other brother. "Eli?"
"We've got to try, Elijah," Eli told him.
Cassie realized. "I know what to do. But you have to trust me and Cami."
Cami realized what Cassie meant. "Let's go, Cassie."
"Cami?" Nate asked. "What are you two talking about?"
"Just trust us, Nate," Cami told him.
Cassie and Cami both ran out of the witch house.
Nick was sitting on one of the couches, watching Melissa in agony. Tricia and Nate walked closer, sitting on either side of Nate, hoping to help comfort him.
Tricia was worried and concerned. "Nick, how can we help?"
"Nothing's gonna help until we get that thing out of Melissa," Nick answered. "Tricia... Nate..."
Nate put a hand on Nick's arm. "It's gonna be okay, Nick."
Fiona walked toward Faye, pulling her away from Melissa. "Faye, stop watching. You're just hurting yourself."
Faye sighed worriedly. "I don't know what to do, Fiona."
Eli, Elijah and Eliot started to go through their Book of Shadows.
Eliot sighed anxiously. "Come on, come on, come on."
Harper walked over to Adam. "Adam..."
"You saw this happen, didn't you?" Adam asked. "The drawings."
"Just the snakes and the case," Harper answered.
"I'm so sorry that I didn't listen to you, Harper," Adam told him.
Everyone continued to find a way to fix this.

Dawn and Charles were sitting on the boat, with four candles on a map on the table between them.
The blood moon was high in the sky.
"It's time," Charles told her.
Dawn nodded. "Let's do it.
Dawn and Charles took each other by the hands.
"This crystal will absorb the moon's light, refract it onto the map, and identify the others in relation to its position," Charles explained. "Seven crystals, once joined together as one, and connected even now."
Dawn and Charles started to chant. "Thrughain adhar, thruagort isham." The crystal refracted the moonlight onto the map. "Thrughain adhar, thruagort isham." The sparking lights on the map started to reveal the position of the other six crystals. "Thrughain adhar, thruagort isham."
The spell failed, much to their confusion.
Dawn reached for the crystal. "No. There's not enough power."
"Let's try it again," Charles suggested.
"The crystal's dead," Dawn told him. "We used it too often. Damn it."
"Just give me your hands," Charles told her.
Dawn stood. "Don't you get it, Charles? It's done. We waited a year for this blood moon."
"But at least we've bound the circle," Charles told her.
"Without 6 more of these, the circle can't restore our power," Dawn told him. "We have nothing."
Charles stood. "Look, I'll find another way."
Dawn scoffed. "No. I was an idiot to think you could help me."
Dawn sighed, leaving.

Blake House - Foyer
Cassie and Cami ran inside. "Grandma!"
Jane walked closer. "What is it? Are you all right?"
"You said you can help us," Cami told her. "You said we can trust you."
"Of course you can," Jane answered. "Slow down, catch your breath."
"There's no time," Cassie told her. "We're in trouble."
"Who is?" Jane asked. "Tell me what's wrong."
Cami and Cassie exchanged a look.
"We know who we are," Cassie told her. "Who you are, who Mom was. We're witches, and we need your help."

The others were still with Melissa.
The suitcase started to move again. Tricia, Nick and Nate all stood. They heard a hiss from inside the bag.
"Was that a hiss?" Faye asked.
"Harper was right," Adam told them. "Snakes."
Melissa appeared behind them, clearing her throat, turning to Nick, screaming, pushing him all the way to the wall. She took a pair of scissors, pushing them to his throat. Nate and Tricia stepped forward out of reflex. Eli and Elijah held out their arms to stop them or Nick from getting hurt.
"Do as I say, or I will cut his throat!" Melissa warned.
Nick tried to appear calm, pleading with her. "Melissa, don't do this. Please. Melissa, hey, come on. Come on, fight, please. I know you're in there. I know you can hear me."
"Yes," Melissa agreed. "And I'm telling you to shut up!"
Melissa started to cut Nick's neck, making him yell in pain.
"No, stop!" Tricia told her.
"Come on," Faye told them. "There's more of us than of her."
"Faye, don't mess around," Fiona told her.
"We're not doing what she says," Eliot told them.
"Eliot, no," Elijah told him.
Eli looked for the best way to keep everyone safe. "Focus on the shears. Heat of the sun, burn like fire." He looked at the others. "Heat of the sun, burn like fire."
Diana, Max, Fiona, Faye, Adam, Harper, Nate, Tricia, Eli, Elijah and Eliot chanted together. "Heat of the sun, burn like fire. Heat of the sun, burn like fire. Heat of the sun, burn like fire. Heat of the sun, burn like fire." Melissa took her foot, tripping Nick down to the floor, adjusting her grip on the shears so it wouldn't burn her anymore. "Heat of the--"
"Wait, stop, stop," Adam told them, knowing that Melissa found a way around their spell.
"Any other magic tricks you wanna try?" Melissa taunted. "No? My turn. Nate, use that o form a circle around the case."
"Please, just do it," Nick told them.
Nate sighed, walking past them to grab a powder, walking over to the table with the suitcase, sprinkling it around it. Once he had completed the circle, he stepped back, next to Tricia.
"Now say this with me," Melissa told them. "Incipio serpus malum." There was a hissing, all of them turning to the case. "Say it!"
Nate and Tricia were not going to let anything happen Nick, looking at the others. They all started to chant again. "Incipio serpus malum." Melissa joined with them. "Incipio serpus malum. Incipio serpus malum. Incipio serpus malum. Incipio serpus malum." The lock on the case clicked open."Incipio serpus malum. Incipio serpus malum. Incipio serpus malum."
Cassie and Cami ran inside with Jane.
"We brought up," Cami told them.
The circle turned to face them
"Get back," Harper told them.
Everyone backed away.
"You're too late!" Melissa told them.
Jane looked at the case. "Kleidaria klodanum."
The suitcase shut and locked itself up tight.
Melissa turned to the circle. "Repeat the spell!"
"No," Jane argued.
"Then his blood is on your hands!" Melissa told her.
Nate used magic to pull the shears out of Melissa's hands now that she was distracted and didn't have a full grip on them. "I don't think so, bitch."
Melissa stood. Nick took the advantage to get up and run next to Tricia and Nate, as they both reached out to him instantly.
Melissa walked closer to Jane. "You don't have the power to stop me, you old woman."
"I'm not alone here," Jane told her.
Melissa looked at the circle in distaste. "What, them? They're nothing."
Jane shook her head. "I didn't mean the children."
Jane held out her own crystal.
Melissa backed away as if the crystal was hurting her. "Get that away from me!"
Melissa fell to the floor.
"Cassie, get my bag," Jane told her. Cassie ran to do as told, grabbing Jane's bag. "Cami, break that circle. Hurry." Cami and Nate rounded the suitcase, taking the powder away. "Take the three candles, place them in a circle." Cassie ran up to Cami and Nate, handing them each a candle, so they could all put one of three candles in a circle around the suitcase. "Light them clockwise." They did as told. "Now the sage. Burn some in each candle. Hurry up, we don't have much time."
Tricia, Fiona and Eliot each took the sage and put some in each candle.
Nick went to check on Melissa while the others were doing as told. "Melissa? Melissa, I know you're in there. I saw you. I saw you. Come back to me. Come back to me, please."
Melissa opened her eyes.

Now the circle was all holding Melissa still, while Jane was trying an exorcism.
Melissa was crying, sounding like herself again. "Stop, please! What's going on?"
"Cassie, Cami, get the sticks out of the bag," Jane told them. Cassie and Cami ran to do as told. Jane poured a liquid on Melissa's head. "Consummetum est." Jane turned to Cassie and Cami. "Light them."
"No, please," Melissa cried, crying even more as they lit the sticks in Cassie and Cami's hands. Jane took the sticks, bringing them closer to Melissa. "No. Stop it! Stop it! Stop! Come on, Nick. Help me, please."
Jane frowned in confusion, placing the sticks aside. "She's not possessed. Let her go."
"Possessed?" Melissa repeated, demanding the cry. "What are you talking about?"
Everyone let Melissa go.
Jane pulled Melissa into a hug to comfort her. "Come here. Come here, come here."
"The demon's gone?" Diana asked.
"From Melissa," Jane answered. "But it needs a host. It's in someone else. Someone in this room."
Everyone looked at each other.
Faye pointed to Adam. "How do you know it's not him?"
Diana backed up a step.
"Diana, come on," Adam told her.
"Faye, you know, that's exactly what the demon would say," Cami told her.
"Well, it could be anyone," Fiona told them.
Adam pointed to Faye. "Yeah, well, I vote for her."
"Well, what about Grandma?" Faye asked. "She's the one with all the crazy ideas."
"She saved us," Cassie told them.
"Guys," Max told them.
"Enough," Eliot told them.
"Stop it," Eliot agreed.
"We can't be turning on each other like this," Elijah told them.
"They're right," Harper told them.
"Well, how can we be sure?" Tricia asked.
Jane let go of Melissa, looking at her fondly, using the crystal, holding it out to Cassie. Nothing happened to Cassie. Jane held the crystal out to Cami. Nothing happened to Cami. Jane slowly turned to face Adam, holding out the crystal to him. Nothing happened to Adam. Jane held the crystal toward Harper. Nothing happened to Harper. Jane held the crystal out to Diana. Nothing happened to Diana. Jane held the crystal out to Max. Nothing happened to Max. Jane held the crystal out to Faye. Nothing happened to Faye. Jane held the crystal out to Fiona. Nothing happened to Fiona. Jane held the crystal out to Eli. Nothing happened to Eli. Jane held the crystal out to Elijah. Nothing happened to Elijah. Jane held the crystal out to Eliot. Nothing happened to Eliot. Jane held the crystal out to Tricia. Nothing happened to Tricia. Jane held the crystal out to Nate. Nothing happened to Nate. Jane held the crystal out to Nick, raising her eyebrow slightly.
Nick growled, trying to run past Jane to the suitcase.
Eli and Elijah ran up to Nick, pushing him to the ground to stop him.
"Stop!" Elijah told him.
"Stop it!" Eli told him.
The suitcase popped open, causing Cassie to let out a surprised cry. Eli and Elijah heard the hissing, turning to look at the open case. Nick pushed them aside, running for the suitcase.
"Stop him!" Eliot told them. "Stop him!"
Harper grabbed a big box, putting it on top of the suitcase to close it and keep the snakes from getting out. "No!"
Knowing he didn't have a chance now, Demon Nick ran out of the witch house.
"Nick!" Nate called worriedly for his brother.
Everyone was in shock, horrified.

Adam, Diana and Faye were with the sleeping Melissa.
Max, Harper, Nate, Eli, Eliot and Elijah were working on trying to kill the snakes/demons in the case, on Jane's instructions, while Fiona, Cami, Cassie and Tricia watched.
"Carefully," Max told them.
"What are they?" Diana asked.
"Demons, in the form of snakes, like Harper's drawings," Max answered.
"Do we have any lighter fluid?" Fiona asked.
"Um, yeah, right there on the table," Adam answered.
"The only way to destroy a demon is to drown it or burn it," Jane explained.
The boys carried the suitcase over to a bathtub to drown it in water. Cami, Cassie, Fiona and Jane followed.
"Right here," Cami told them.
"On the concrete," Jane instructed.
The boys counted to lift up the bag into the bathtub. "One, two, three."
Fiona noticed the lock was completely busted. "The lock."
Cassie handed them matches. "Take these."
They poured water and lighter fluid all over the suitcase, setting it ablaze with matches.
"Get back," Tricia told them.
They all backed away, watching the snakes/demons burn, listening to them growl and hiss as they were killed by the water and the flames.
Nate picked up a baseball bat to hit the case and the snakes for good measure, furious because of what was happening with Nick.
A snake launched out at Nate.
Cami pulled him back before it could get to him. "Nate!"

Jane and the circle were all talking.
"We have to find Nick and get him back, before he hurts someone," Tricia told them.
"I'll call our aunt and tell her to call if he shows up there," Nate told them, walking away to make the call.
"What's he trying to do?" Cassie asked.
"The demon," Cami corrected. "What does it want?"
"Possession," Eli answered. "Demons need human form to be fully active."
"And there's no more powerful form than a witch, right?" Elijah asked.
Jane nodded. "Right."
"Great," Eliot said sarcastically.
Nate walked closer after hanging up his phone. Nate and Tricia were both on the verge of freaking out.
"Nate, Tricia, it's gonna be okay," Fiona told them. "We're gonna get Nick back."
"We can still try and save him," Max told them.
"I'm gonna start drawing, see if I can see where he's going," Harper offered, walking over to a table to try and draw something.
Tricia's phone rang. She pulled it out, seeing who was calling, standing. "It's Nick."
Everyone looked at Tricia.
Tricia answered her phone.
"Nick?" Nate asked.
Nick was walking toward the Boathouse. "Tricia. Nate. I'm gonna need you to bring me the suitcase to the Boathouse. If you don't, I'm gonna burn this place to the ground. You can check, but I'm pretty sure Adam's dad/Harper's guardian is passed out in the backroom."
They hung up.
"We can't let him burn down the Boathouse," Adam told them. "He's right. My dad's in there."
"I'll go," Jane told them.
"I'm coming with," Cassie told her.
"So am I," Cami agreed.
"You're gonna need help," Eli told them.
"You can't do it alone," Eliot agreed.
"Eli, Eliot and I can go with," Elijah told them.
"This is my brother we're talking about," Nate told them. "I'm going. I'm not losing Nick."
Tricia shook her head. "Neither am I. We have to save Nick."
"Then we're coming too," Fiona told them.
"Adam and I got get to Ethan," Harper told them.
"What about Melissa?" Max asked.

Nick walked closer. "Hello, Dawn."
"Hello, Nick," Dawn replied. "It's Mrs. Chamberlain to you."
Nick sat next to her. "Nick's not here anymore."
Dawn frowned. "And who are you?"
Nick smirked. "I believe the name you used when you helped summon me was..."
Dawn realized who it really was, in shock and horrified. "Abaddon."
Nick/Abaddon spoke in a demonic voice. "We meet again."
"Oh, my God," Dawn said.
"We have unfinished business," Nick/Abaddon told her.
"What do you want?" Dawn asked.
"I've come to do what I was meant to do," Nick/Abaddon told her. "I want the circle."
Dawn shook her head. "No. Leave the children alone."
"They're coming here now," Nick/Abaddon told her. "For Nick. I need a new body. Yours will do fine."
Dawn looked around. "Not here."
They stood, walking away.

Dawn led the way outside, having her phone out, making a call to Charles without Nick/Abaddon knowing.
Charles was still on the boat, answering. "Hello?"
Dawn spoke to Nick/Abaddon. "Let's go someplace private. What about the drydocks? Nobody can hear us there. We can talk this out, Nick--or Abaddon." Charles realized that Dawn was with the demon, worrying. "No one else needs to be killed."
Charles went to go help Dawn.

Drydocks
Dawn and Nick/Abaddon were walking.
"Do whatever you want to me," Dawn told him. "Just please, leave them alone."
"I'm afraid I can't do that," Nick/Abaddon told her. "I just want what you want. The circle, their power."
"They're not strong," Dawn told him. "They don't know anything."
Nick/Abaddon chuckled. "They're strong."
Charles came out of nowhere, punching Nick/Abaddon hard in the head, enough to knock him out. "What now?"
Dawn turned to face him. "You know what we have to do." Charles realized what she meant, shaking his head. "The crystal has no energy, and without that power, there's nothing else we can do. We have to drown it."
"For God's sake, Dawn," Charles told her.
"He was coming for the children, Charles," Dawn told him. "All of them. We don't have a choice, and you know it. Look, it's a risk, but drowning the demon is the only way to save Nick." They grabbed Nick. "Come on."

Eliot, Elijah, Eli, Fiona and Max went one way, while Cassie, Cami, Tricia, Nate and Jane went another.

Charles and Dawn were dragging Nick to the water. Charles looked at Dawn, who nodded. Charles prepared to push Nick down.
Nick woke up. "Mr. Meade. What are you doing?"
"Don't listen to him," Dawn told him. "That's not Nick."
Nick (or the demon Abaddon) was terrified, begging to be let go, crying. "Stop it, please. Please! Please, stop! Stop it! Stop!"
"Put him under," Dawn told him. "Do it quickly."
Charles pushed Nick under the water, holding the struggling teen down to drown the demon.
Elsewhere, Max, Fiona, Eli, Eliot and Elijah were looking for Nick on one side of the docks, while Tricia, Nate, Cami, Cassie and Jane were looking for him on the other side. They heard Nick screaming for help.
Tricia and Nate instantly knew who it was. "Nick."
Tricia and Nate led Cami, Cassie and Jane toward the sound at a run.
Eli, Eliot, Elijah, Max and Fiona exchanged a look.
"Is that Nick?" Eli asked.
"Has to be," Elijah answered
"Let's go," Eliot told them.
They ran toward the sound.
Charles was still trying to drown Nick.
"What's happening?" Dawn asked.
"He won't die," Charles answered, until finally, Nick stopped moving, so Charles pulled Nick out of the water.
Dawn ran closer, helping Charles pull Nick onto the ground, as the two were trying to see if Nick was still alive. They heard the others running closer, running away before they could be found next to Nick's body.
Tricia, Nate, Cami, Cassie and Jane ran closer, not seeing Dawn and Charles since they vanished, but seeing Nick's dead body on the ground.
Nate could only whisper. "Nick?"
Tricia slowly shook her head, not even blinking. "No."
"Tricia..." Cami trailed off. "Nate."
"No," Tricia said louder. Nate and Tricia ran down the way to Nick, kneeling next to him. "Nick? Nick."
Nate took Nick by the shoulder, shaking it. "Nick. No, no, no. You can't be dead. No."
Tricia started to cry. "No. Nick. No, no, no."
Cami ran down to kneel next to Nate.
Cassie ran down to kneel next to Tricia. "Tricia. Nate."
Nate was in complete shock, not able to breathe, as Cami held him, both having tears in their eyes, as Nate tried a spell to bring Nick back. "Air that we breathe, give us life." When nothing happened, Nate tried again, getting angry and desperate. "Air that we breathe, give us life!"
Tricia started to cry when the spell didn't work. "Nick. Nick! Please, God, wake up. Wake up. You gotta wake up."
"Nick, come on," Nate told him. "No."
Eli, Elijah, Eliot, Fiona and Max ran closer, having to stop in shock and horror.
Fiona ran toward Cassie and Tricia to kneel next to Tricia on the other side to help Cassie comfort her so Tricia didn't have an episode and hurt herself. "Tricia... Nate..."
Eliot, Eli and Elijah walked closer to help Tricia before she could have a episode and hurt herself or others. None of them knew how to help Nate and Tricia with them, as they were all trying to process that Nick was dead.

"I'm really glad that you're okay," Faye told her.
Melissa looked around. "Where is everyone? Where's Nick?"
Eli and Elijah walked closer.

Eliot sighed. "They're saying he hit his head when he fell in. At least that's what the police think. They're calling it an accident."
Diana was crying. "So he drowned?"
"Maybe he was trying to get the demon out himself," Adam told them.
Fiona looked down. "Maybe."
Harper cleared his throat. "What about Nate and Tricia?"
"Nate's numb," Max answered. "Tricia..."
"Cami was trying to be there for Nate, and Tricia almost had an episode after they found him," Eliot answered. "Cassie and Fiona were the only reasons why she didn't."
"Plus, Eli, Elijah and Eliot cast a spell to help Tricia, while Cassie, Cami and I tried to help Nate and Tricia," Fiona agreed, tears in her eyes.
Adam shook his head. "Nate, Nick and Tricia had it worse than any of us. Both parents, you know? Never knowing who they were."
Diana cried. "I know." She reached out to take Max and Adam's hands. "If I lost you, I couldn't take it."
"You're not gonna lose us," Max told her.
"Promise?" Diana asked.
Max and Adam nodded.

Blake House - Living Room
Cassie, Cami and Jane had brought Tricia and Nate back to the Blake House so they wouldn't be alone that night. Tricia and Nate were sitting in front of the fire. Tricia was calmer now, crying silently. Nate was fighting tears.
Tricia took a deep breath. "Last night... I had a dream. About the first time I met you, Nick and Jake. Jake's my first and last mistake. But you and Nick... you were always there for me, Nate. And I tried to be there for all of you. You're my best friends. Nothing more, but you guys meant everything to me, because you had been there for me my entire life when nobody else had. Even after Jake left, and my aunt died, and I had that breakdown. You and Nick came to visit me in a psyche ward for about a week. I'm so sorry, Nate."
Nate took a deep breath. "I'm sorry too, Tricia. You, Nick, Jake and I had the worst deck of cards out of everyone. No parents, not ever knowing who we were really. Not our family, not our identities, nothing. And that was what had kept you close with me, Nick and Jake for so long. For our whole lives. And Nick, Jake and I had each other as siblings, but you didn't have anyone. God, I don't even know how I'm gonna tell Jake. I mean, I have to tell him. What am I supposed to tell him?"
Tricia didn't know the answer.
Cassie and Cami were watching them worriedly from the other room, with Jane.
"If we would have told you about the circle sooner, Nick would still be alive," Cami told her. "And Tricia and Nate wouldn't be going through this."
Jane handed Cami and Cassie mugs of tea, making two more for Nate and Tricia. "It's not your fault. None of it. There have been too many secrets for too long. And I don't want to be like that between us anymore."
"Then please, tell us," Cassie told her. "What happened the night of the fire? Why did our mom run away from here, from you?"
"I wish I knew," Jane told them. "But I never have." She handed them the other two mugs. "Let's give these to Nate and Tricia. They definitely need them."
Jane, Cassie and Cami sighed, bringing the tea to Nate and Tricia, handing them the mugs.
"Do you feel up to drinking these?" Cami asked.
"Not really," Nate answered, but ended up taking a drink anyway.
Tricia just held the mug in her hands, gazing off.
"Nate, Tricia, I'm so sorry," Cassie told them. "But you tried to save him."
"What good is magic if you can't save the people you care about?" Tricia asked.
"I wish it was that simple," Jane told them, sighing. "Tricia. Nate." They looked up. "Ours is not an easy life. And witchcraft has never been about fun and games. It's dangerous, and it attracts darkness. Cassie, Cami, that is why your mom was trying to keep it from you. Why I wanted to keep it from her. Why Letty and William wanted to keep it from you, Tricia."
"Well, it didn't work, did it?" Tricia replied.
"No, it didn't," Jane answered. "It never does."
Cami sat next to Nate and Tricia to comfort them, as did Cassie, as they were all crying by now.
