From 1.01 "Pilot", at Amelia, Cassie and Cami's house, Charles struck another match, causing the burner to ignite again, striking several more matches, setting the kitchen on fire.

Diana: (voice over) "Previously on Worlds Colliding (Secret Circle)."

Panicking, Amelia accidentally slipped on the wet floor, gasping. "Cassie. Cami."

As Amelia was struggling to escape the flames that erupted around the kitchen, screaming, Charles struck all the matches at once, and dropping them. The house exploded into flames as Charles walked away.

Cassie: (voice over from 1.01 Pilot) "Mom's death is not your fault, Cami."

From 1.01 "Pilot", in the school hallway, Tricia, Eli, Elijah and Nick were standing together.

Adam walked up to them. "Have you seen them yet?"

"They got in yesterday," Nick explained.

From 1.01 "Pilot", in the witch house, the group was gathered.

"We're different," Eli told them. "You're different."

Fiona walked up to Cassie and Cami. "You're witches. You're full blooded, hundred perfect witches. We all are."

"The only one out of us here that is not a witch is Harper," Eliot told them. "He's a psychic."

From 1.01 "Pilot", in Cassie's room, Cassie took off a part of the dresser, revealing a hidden compartment, pulling out her family's Book of Shadows. Inside, she found a letter from Amelia, reading it.

Max: (voice over from 1.01 Pilot) "Each family has a journal that lays down each family line, from each circle."

"A complete circle is with seven bloodlines," Elijah explained.

Tricia smirked. "Seven devils."

Max looked at Cassie and Cami. "You're from the seventh family from our family's circles. Cassie, you complete the circle that is made up of you, Diana, Tricia, Adam, Nick, Faye and Melissa. Cami would be part of the circle that me, Fiona and Nate belong to, not completing it since we don't have a Hartley, a Conant, or a Glaser our age, but Eliot would technically be part of our circle, and Harper likes to help with the psychic thing, and Eli and Elijah are technically apart of it but not our family's bloodlines. Hard to explain."

"Now we're whole," Melissa told them.

From 1.01 "Pilot", on the porch of the Chamberlain house, Fiona looked at Max. "With them here, we have real power now. Instead of worrying about me, Faye and Eliot, you should really worry about what happens if Tricia has a bipolar episode with all this magic and power just waiting to be tapped into."

"Eli and Elijah are trying to find a way to help Tricia control that," Max explained.

From 1.01 "Pilot", in the woods, Tricia walked through the woods, struggling to stay calm, but her magic lashing out because of an episode caused by her disorder, and since the circle's magic was magnified so much by Cassie and Cami's arrival, the magic was uncontrollable. When Tricia's magic lashed out, trees were splintering and falling down by wind and magic, set ablaze with fire.

Eliot: (voice over from 1.01 Pilot) "With your circle's magic going haywire now that the Blake girls are back in town, now is not the time for Tricia to have an episode, since your power is magnified a hundred times over."

Eli and Elijah found her, running up to Tricia. Eli got Tricia to sit down, kneeling in front of her, as the two helped Tricia through the episode to calm her down. Elijah held out his hand for Tricia to take. Tricia hesitated but took Elijah's hand. Eli took Tricia's other hand so they could help her up.

Elijah: (voice over from 1.01 Pilot) "Let me and Eli handle it. Tricia will lash out more from fear of hurting someone else if anyone else is there."

From 1.01 "Pilot", in Faye's room, Faye and Eli sat on her bed.

"Why doesn't Tricia just take her meds?" Faye asked.

"Because meds like that can make someone suicidal, especially someone like Tricia who also has depression and no family left," Eli answered.

From 1.01 "Pilot", outside the Chamberlain House, Dawn looked at Charles. "They've got the gift."

"Are you sure you can get Cassie and Cami to do what we need?" Charles asked.

Dawn shook her head. "The circle will take care of that without even knowing it."

Day One

Morning - Blake House - Cassie's Room

Cassie was showing Cami the letter from Amelia that she had found the night before, while they were also going through their family's Book of Shadows.

Amelia: (voice over) "My sweet Cassie and Camille. You finding this means I'm gone, and for that, I am so sorry. I didn't want you to have this life, but destiny's not easy to run from. I hoped that keeping this secret would keep you safe, but all I've done is left you both unprotected. You two have incredible power inside you. People will come for it. They will come for you. I know how alone you must feel, but be careful who you trust, even people who call themselves friends. Your power is the only thing that can keep you safe."

Cassie and Cami stopped reading the Book of Shadows, exchanging a look.

"I can't believe this is happening," Cassie told her.

"I know," Cami agreed. "I wish Mom would've told us sooner."

"Really?" Cassie asked. "Because I wish that we would never have found out. That we could be normal."

"Well, we're not, okay?" Cami asked. "Cassie, I didn't like being normal. And I don't like feeling out of control, either. I just want to learn how to control it."

"How do you suggest you do that?" Cassie asked.

Cami looked around, finding a candle across the room, staring at it, standing, walking closer to focus on the candle, sighing. "Give me light." When nothing happened, she sighed. "Okay. Give me light." She closed her eyes to focus better. "Give me light."

"Give it up, Cami," Cassie told her.

Instead of the candle producing light, the curtains next to Cami opened, allowing the sunlight to shine in brightly. Cassie and Cami both turned to the window in surprise to watch it shine with bright light. Cassie was in shock, troubled, while Cami was happy, smiling.

❈ Worlds Colliding (Secret Circle) ❈

Armstrong House - Nick's Room

(Song:) Love Song - Cruel Black Dove

Nick was waking up in bed with Melissa. "You got to go." Melissa sat up. "Come on, my aunt's a Jesus freak."

Melissa sighed. "Fine."

Nick pulled on his jeans, standing. "Did things work out with Cassie, Cami, Tricia and you girls?"

"Us girls?" Melissa repeated, pulling on her bra and underwear. "You're a part of this, too. No. We think Faye's monsoon scared the crap out of them, but Tricia seems to be doing better after Eli and Elijah got through to her after her episode."

"So are we binding the circle or not?" Nick asked.

Melissa shrugged, pulling on her jeans. "I guess not. I mean, Faye and Fiona say it's a bad idea anyway."

"Do you always listen to Faye and Fiona?" Nick asked.

Melissa gave him a look. "No. Otherwise I wouldn't be here. And you know what, can you keep this quiet, okay? I don't want anyone knowing we hooked up, so don't go bragging."

Melissa was looking for her shirt.

"I'm gonna brag about you?" Nick asked.

Melissa stopped in disbelief. "You're an ass."

Melissa continued looking for her shirt. Nick tossed her shirt to her. Melissa put her shirt on, leaving the room.

Hallway

Nate was just waking up, wearing jeans but not a shirt yet, heading back to his room after leaving the bathroom.

Melissa walked past, scolding herself when Nate caught her.

Nate smirked, surprised. "Melissa."

"Hey, Nate," Melissa said awkwardly.

"Doing the walk of shame and embarrassment out of Nick's room, huh?" Nate asked.

"Could you keep this quiet, please?" Melissa asked.

Nate smirked. "Sure. Not my business anyway."

"Thanks," Melissa told him, leaving.

Nate shook his head with a smirk, going back to his room.

Blake House - Cami's Room

Cami was about to leave for school, when she saw through the bedroom window of hers viewing into Nate's, that he walked into his room to get his shirt and ready to leave. They both saw each other, pausing.

Cami smirked sarcastically, waving. "Please. Do you own a shirt?" She sighed, trying a spell. "Okay, curtains, you can close now." Nate knew she was trying a spell, frowning a bit. "Close now!"

Nate's window slammed closed from the spell, shattering, falling into pieces, shocking both Nate and Cami. Cami quickly left her room.

(Song Ends)

Foyer

Cami ran downstairs to meet up with Cassie and leave for school.

Jane walked closer. "Hey, want some breakfast?"

"No, we're late," Cassie answered.

"Everything okay?" Jane asked.

Cami nodded nervously. "Uh, yeah, fine. I'm just frazzled."

"Cassie, Cami, I know this isn't easy," Jane told them. "Losing your mother, moving away from home. But I'm here. If you want to talk about anything."

Cassie and Cami both looked guilty for not being able to tell Jane the truth about what they were just told.

"We really are late," Cassie told her.

Cassie and Cami left the house to go to school.

Street

Tricia walked out of her house to go meet up with Nate and Nick.

"Hey, Tricia," Nate told her. "You okay after your episode last night? Eli and Elijah helped you out with."

"Yeah, fine," Tricia answered. "Just trying to keep another episode at bay for as long as I can before I can lose control again. At least with all this extra magic around. Eli and Elijah think it's a good idea to bind the circle just because of that."

"Because of your episodes?" Nick asked.

"Yeah," Tricia answered.

"So Eli and Elijah think that by binding the circle, you won't have magical freak outs anymore?" Nick asked.

"Yeah," Tricia answered.

"Got it," Nick sighed. "So I'm guessing you're not gonna be with the other girls 'working things out'."

"Hell no," Tricia answered with a scoff. "I'm having enough trouble with myself, without adding to Faye and Fiona drama, and helping Diana and Melissa deal with the two new Barbie Witches."

Nate barely contained a laugh. "Barbie Witches? Whatever. Um, Cami's still learning control, too. She shattered my window without meaning to."

"That's what that noise was?" Nick asked. "I thought that was Tricia having another freak out."

"Bite me, Nick," Tricia told him.

Nick smirked. "So, Nate, your new girl's a psycho witch, too?"

"Cami's not my girl, and if you wanna judge, you've got no room to, considering I saw your newest conquest sneaking out your room this morning," Nate replied.

Tricia smirked. "Oh, yeah, I saw Melissa drive away."

"Don't start," Nick told them.

Nate chuckled. "Let's go."

The Boathouse

(Song:) Supercycle - Chikita Violenta

A lot of people were setting up for an event outside.

Inside, Adam and Harper walked up to Ethan, laughing.

"What's the racket outside?" Ethan asked.

"Sea fair," Adam answered. "It's this weekend. They're setting up."

"We're out of steel head and mussels," Ethan told them.

"No, we're not," Harper told him. "I already called them in. So, what's going on between you and Diana and Max's dad? Hmm. You two almost went to blows."

"Charles Meade's a punk," Ethan told them. "He's always been a punk."

"Well, that punk is also a lawyer on the town council, Dad," Adam pointed out. "So it's probably not the best idea to piss him off. And he's Diana and Max's father. So, please, just try and make an effort, okay?"

"We gotta go," Harper told him. "But just relax, Ethan. Okay?" Ethan nodded. "We'll see you later."

Harper and Adam walked away.

(Song Ends)

Chamberlain House - Living Room

Dawn was getting ready to leave. "Faye, Fiona, we're late."

Faye and Fiona walked in.

"You don't have to shout," Fiona told her.

Dawn looked at Faye's outfit skeptically. "Is that what you're wearing?"

Faye smiled. "Do you love it? It's new."

"It's awesome," Fiona told her.

"It's exactly how I don't want you to dress," Dawn told her.

"You two could stand to lose a button or two," Faye told them.

Dawn fixed Faye's top to where it wasn't showing cleavage. "Fiona's too young for that, Faye, and I'm the principal. I have to be buttoned."

Faye lowered her shirt back down. "Well, then live vicariously through me. And Fiona's just a year younger than me, Mom."

"You're too young for that," Dawn told her.

Fiona smirked. "You're wasting your breath, Mom."

Foyer

Fiona and Faye walked up to the door to leave.

Fiona opened the door, smiling in surprise when she saw Henry Chamberlain outside. "Granddaddy!"

Faye and Fiona both embraced Henry tightly.

Henry chuckled. "Hey, there, kittens."

"What are you doing here?" Faye asked.

Henry walked in. "It's lonely up at the lake all by myself." Dawn walked in. Henry greeted his daughter in law coldly. "Dawn."

"Henry," Dawn replied just as coldly.

Fiona looked at Henry, smiling. "How long you staying?"

"Not sure yet," Henry admitted. "I have some business to take care of."

"You're retired," Dawn told him in confusion.

"And I wanted to see my granddaughters and daughter in law," Henry told them.

"Well, we're happy to see you," Faye told him. "So long."

Faye and Fiona had to leave for school.

Dawn looked at Henry. "Is everything okay?"

"If it's not, I'll let you know," Henry told her.

"Well, you're welcome to stay as long as you'd like," Dawn told him.

Henry nodded sarcastically. "That's gracious of you, being it's my home."

Street

Diana and Max were walking together.

"Eli, Elijah, Eliot and Harper don't have to be worried about being involved in the binding of the circle, but they think we should do it as soon as possible," Diana explained. "I mean, they don't know much about what will happen after we bind the circle, but they just know that at least then, we'll be in control of our powers. Adam's for the idea of binding, I think Melissa and Nick don't know what to do. Neither does Nate. I've got to get around to talking to Cassie and Cami about it. Tricia's reluctant even with what she can do with all this power if she has an episode, and Faye and Fiona are straight up against it."

"Of course they are," Max told her. "Tricia doesn't like being told what to do, and she's reluctant because she's been alone all her life except for when it comes to being friends with Nate, Nick and Jake. Faye's against it because she's a power hungry bitch. Fiona doesn't like being told what to do anymore than Tricia does, but I think she's mainly against it because she knows that Faye would want her to be. Like you said, Eli, Elijah, Eliot, Harper and Adam are all for it, and Melissa, Nick and Nate will come around."

"You really think so?" Diana asked.

"I don't know, Diana," Max told her. "We just have to talk to Cassie and Cami. As long as you, Cassie, Faye, Melissa, Adam, Nick and Tricia agree to bind, then me, Cami, Fiona and Nate will be fine. You'll be binding our bloodlines and magic from the bloodlines so we'll be in control again, but Cami, Fiona, Nate and I can't bind since we're not a full circle like you older ones."

"Exactly," Diana agreed. "What about you, Max? You've never really stated on where you stand on the subject."

"I just want to make sure that we're all taken care of and that we're all back in control and no one can get hurt," Max answered. "But I don't want to be a leader or try to dictate or anything. No offense, Diana, but you kinda dictate." Diana scoffed but couldn't deny that. "Eli's leader material since the circle/family that he, Eliot and Elijah come from, they were making Eli to be the head of since he was the oldest, but he's not out to dictate anyone. He just wants to make sure what happened to their family and circle doesn't happen to us."

"I know," Diana agreed. "It's sad but sweet. And you going from boy scout to rebel has nothing to do with the fact that you're not wanting to lead?"

"Maybe," Max answered. "Maybe I'm just tired of being taken advantage of, and I'm tired of the way that Dad wanted me to be a scout type like you. I'm not full on rebelling, Diana. I just want a little bit of freedom."

Diana nodded in understanding. "I get it, Max. I just want to make sure that we're all on the same page here. We can't risk anything right now."

Max sighed. "No, we cannot."

Weston House - Outside

(Song:) Roni - Chikita Violenta

Eliot, Elijah and Eli were tossing around a football.

"School's in like 20 minutes, but I'd rather skip," Eli admitted. "My senior year, but still."

Elijah gasped mockingly. "Uh-oh. Look, Eliot. One of the rare times when Eli's not the responsible Weston."

"Shut up, Elijah," Eli replied.

Eliot laughed. "Relax, Eli. Elijah's right. Loosen up a little bit."

"I am loosened up," Eli told them. "I'm throwing around a football with you two, aren't I?"

"Yeah, but you're still acting like you gotta take care of everything and everyone," Elijah answered. "And I get it, Eli. I do. After what happened with our family and our circle, I know that you don't want anything to happen with this circle. Our friends. Neither do we."

"Yeah, you mean other than Eliot causing trouble with Fiona, and accidentally Cami, and Faye and Cassie?" Eli asked.

Eliot smirked. "Fiona, Faye and I all said that we're sorry."

"And we're not blaming you, all right?" Elijah asked. "We just gotta make sure nothing bad happens like that again."

Eliot sighed. "Yeah, I know. What about Tricia? You guys having luck with her episodes?"

"Barely," Eli answered. "I mean, Tricia's good at fighting them off even when she's not on her meds, all right? But sometimes she can't control it when they flare up unexpectedly. Especially with the circle's magic amplified by a hundred."

"Eli and I barely got Tricia to calm down last night before she hurt herself," Elijah explained. "And then Faye started a monsoon and couldn't stop it, causing you, Nate, Max and Harper to get struck by lightning before Fiona could finally stop the monsoon. Even you couldn't stop it, Eliot."

"I couldn't stop it because of the lightning strike," Eliot replied.

Eli caught the ball again, tossing it down. "Yeah, speaking of what Faye and Fiona did. You okay, Eliot? You, Nate, Max and Harper?"

"Yeah," Eliot answered. "Yeah, we were fine as soon as you and Elijah used those healing spells on us and made it seem like lightning didn't even touch me, Max, Harper or Nate. Thanks for that, Eli."

"Of course," Eli agreed.

Elijah sighed. "All right. We should head to the school, make sure that the circle stays out of trouble with all the extra magic in the air."

"Yeah," Eli agreed. "Come on."

Eliot made a face. "I'd rather exploit Eli's earlier suggestion and skip altogether, Elijah."

Elijah smirked. "Let's go, Eliot."

They laughed, walking away from the house.

(Song Ends)

Chance Harbor High School - Hallway

Cassie and Cami were walking together.

Sally walked with them. "Hi, there. I'm Sally Matthews, class president."

"Oh, hi," Cassie told her. "I'm Cassie, and this is my sister Cami."

Sally nodded knowingly. "The new girls. I just wanted to welcome you two, and see if you needed anything. Anything social, extracurricular, I'm your girl. And if you're not doing anything tomorrow, you should come to the fair. I'm in charge of the school raffle, and we really need new band uniforms. I could totally use some help. It's a great way to meet people."

"Okay, sure," Cassie agreed.

Cami shrugged. "Why not?"

Fiona and Faye walked up to them.

Fiona looked at Sally. "They've been here for five minutes. Don't torture the girls yet."

"We're talking, Fiona," Sally told her in annoyance.

"And we're interrupting, Sally," Fiona replied, taking Cassie and Cami by the arms, linking them together with hers, leading them away with her and Faye. "That Sally Matthews talks more than I can listen. Look, we want to apologize, for what happened last night, in case the story Faye started scared you two off. With you two here, our powers are magnified, and it's awesome, but we have to practice a little. Have Diana and Max gotten to you two yet about binding the circle?"

"Not yet," Cami answered.

"Just say no," Faye told them. "It is exactly what we don't want to do."

"Why not?" Cami asked.

"It links us together," Faye answered. "Eli, Eliot and Elijah, and Max and Diana explain that only Cassie, Diana, Tricia, Nick, Adam, Melissa and I have to bind our circle, and it binds the rest of our lines, getting control back for all of us, but we won't have individual power, even if Eli, Eliot, Elijah, Fiona, Max, Nate and Cami will. Luckily Harper doesn't have to worry about that stuff. It'll become a factious circle with control freak Diana as dictator, and I don't want someone telling me what to eat for lunch, much less what parade I can rain on, you know?"

"No, I don't," Cassie answered. "I don't know you, I don't want to know you, and I don't want any part of this, so you need to leave me alone. Understand?"

Cassie walked away. Faye and Fiona were both surprised, looking at Cami.

Cami sighed, shaking her head. "I'm sorry. I'll talk to her. But I don't get any of this, so just let us figure it out, okay?"

"Okay," Fiona agreed. Cami walked away. Faye turned to give Fiona a look. Fiona tilted her head in response. "What?"

Dawn's Office

Dawn walked into her office, on the phone.

Charles's voice was on the other line. "Charles Meade."

"Why is Henry in town?" Dawn asked.

Charles was walking down a sidewalk toward his car. "I don't know. He's your father in law, not mine."

"Could he be on to us?" Dawn asked.

Charles scoffed. "I doubt that. We were very careful. We covered our tracks."

"I don't like him here," Dawn admitted. "I don't trust him at all."

"You just don't like him," Charles pointed out.

"'Cause he doesn't like me," Dawn replied. "He blames me for Tom's death, like it was my fault."

Charles reached his car. "We all have to blame someone."

Dawn sighed. "Keep your eyes open."

Chemistry Lab

Tricia walked into chemistry, sitting down at the table that was in the front corner. Faye and Melissa were sitting in the row behind Tricia, one over. Adam and Diana were sitting in the back corner, opposite side of Tricia.

Cassie walked in, seeing that the only free seat was next to Tricia.

The chemistry teacher started the lesson. "So I have two big rules in my class. Number one, do not breathe in the vapors of these chemicals. Rule number two, always wear goggles." Tricia waved sarcastically to Cassie, smirking. Cassie walked over to sit next to Tricia. Everyone put on their goggles. "Okay, let's get it started. We have a big day today. First and foremost, safety goggles on, please. Afterwards, I want you to pour 300 milliliters of solution A, and two drops of solution B into your beakers, please." Cassie poured the solution A into her and Tricia's beaker, while Tricia did the solution B. "Now take in mind that many of these carbonates are very toxic, which, for those of you who don't know, that means dangerous. Now remember that the point of this experiment is to compare the reactivity of these different metal carbonates..."

Tricia shook her head, letting the rest trail off, starting to doze off.

Faye focused on her and Melissa's beaker. "Fire without flame, bring me heat."

"What are you doing?" Melissa asked.

"Experimenting," Faye answered. "Try it. Fire without flame..."

"Bring me heat," Melissa finished.

"Fire without flame," Faye repeated.

"Bring me heat," Melissa finished.

Faye and Melissa's beaker started boiling, causing them both to smile.

Faye looked over at Tricia and Cassie's beaker, boiling theirs without using an incantation.

Tricia was startled out of her dozing off stage because of the suddenly boiling mixture. Cassie looked at the beaker, confused.

Cassie looked under the table, whispering to Tricia. "Are you doing that?"

"No," Tricia answered, her lips going up in a smirk. "But I know who is."

Tricia turned to look at Faye and Melissa, smiling a little. Cassie turned to follow her gaze.

Faye smiled. Melissa shrugged.

Tricia and Cassie looked back at their beaker, and the beaker exploded into glass shards, the solution exploding all over Tricia and Cassie with it, causing them both to gasp in shock, stand and back away.

The chemistry teacher walked up to Tricia and Cassie worriedly. "Is anybody hurt?" Tricia and Cassie turned to look at Faye. Faye smiled sheepishly. Wanting to get back at Faye, Tricia used magic to light Faye and Melissa's beaker on fire. Cassie had the same thought, magically making Faye and Melissa's beaker explode, causing Faye and Melissa to gasp, stand and back away as well. Tricia looked at Cassie in surprise, silently telling Faye, Melissa, Diana and Adam that it hadn't been just her that had done that, but Cassie, too. The chemistry teacher walked up to Faye and Melissa. "Hey, are you guys all right?"

Angry and scared, Cassie took off her goggles, throwing them down, and ran out of the room. Adam stood, running to follow Cassie.

Hallway

Adam followed Cassie into the hallway. "Cassie. Cassie, wait a minute."

Cassie turned to face him. "I did that. I got mad and that's what happened. Tricia wasn't the only one that did that, I did too. I didn't mean to, though. Why is this happening? How do I stop it?"

Adam sighed in concern. "That's the thing, you can't. But if you let me, I can help."

Witch House - Outside

Cami, Nate, Max, Fiona, Eliot and Harper were walking up to the witch house.

"Why do you guys come here?" Cami asked.

"Because no one else does," Max answered.

Cami nodded sarcastically. "Condemned buildings are like that."

Fiona smirked. "Ooh. Seems like sweet little Cami has a feisty, sarcastic side. I like it."

Cami chuckled. "Thanks, Fiona, I guess."

"It's important that no one find out about us," Nate told her. "Especially our families."

"How did you discover--" Cami started.

"Diana, Max, Faye, Fiona, Melissa, Adam, Nick, Nate, Jake and Tricia are witches, and I'm a psychic?" Harper finished. "Diana and Max found their mom's Book of Shadows. That's how we know about all of us. And soon after that, Eli, Eliot and Elijah came to town and we learned more about each other. They have their own book, too."

Cami looked down. "And Diana and Max are the only ones with a book like that? Eli, Eliot and Elijah, too?"

"Technically, each family has a book, from each circle," Eliot answered. "But Diana and Max's is the only one from your circle that we have access to, besides the Book of Shadows that Eli, Elijah and I have from our family. We don't know much about this witch thing either since we found out a little bit before we came to Chance Harbor."

"Why?" Cami asked.

"Because witchcraft is forbidden," Fiona answered. "It was abolished."

"Because of what happened years ago?" Cami asked.

"Not just because of the boathouse fire, but a lot of things, all around," Eliot answered. "It's what got my, Eli and Elijah's family killed, Cami. The boathouse fire is when Adam's mom died. And Diana and Max's mom. Faye and Fiona's dad. Melissa's mom. Your and Cassie's dad. Nick, Nate and their brother Jake lost both their parents, and so did Tricia. Harper's dad was there, because he was the psychic that your parents's circle used, and he died there. After that, Harper's mom became an exceedingly unfit mother, and since she used to be best friends with Adam's parents, she left Harper with Ethan when Adam was one years old, and Ethan raised both Adam and Harper growing up after Harper's mom took off."

Cami looked at Harper in shock, sympathy. "I'm sorry." Harper nodded. "I don't know much about it. Just that there was some big accident."

"Well, the official story was some teens were partying on an old boat and there was a fire," Max explained. "Some didn't get out."

"A fire?" Cami repeated.

Nate nodded. "Diana and Max think it's because they didn't bind the circle."

"I don't understand," Cami admitted.

"Every witch is born into a circle made up of seven families," Harper explained. "You, Adam, Cassie, Diana, Max, Faye, Fiona, Nick, Nate, Jake and Melissa are born from this circle, the Chance Harbor circle, and Eli, Eliot and Elijah were born from the circle in the east. Ironic since their last name is Weston." They chuckled. "A circle has more power than any one person can handle. Binding it is the only way we can utilize the power, but keep it controlled."

"Faye and Fiona told me and Cassie that it will link our bloodlines together," Cami told them.

"Yeah, which is exactly why Faye and I don't want to do it," Fiona agreed.

"You don't want to do it so that Faye doesn't get mad at you, Fiona," Max told her.

"Or maybe because I don't like being told what to do, Max," Fiona replied.

"Cami, listen, if Adam, Cassie, Diana, Tricia, Melissa, Nick and Faye do the ritual, it will link their individual abilities, and strengthen your circle as a group, and make sure that you, Max, Nate and Fiona are in control again, too," Eliot explained. "That way, no one can have too much power."

"And Tricia wouldn't have too much power to handle if she has another episode again," Harper added. "It'll be okay again."

Cami sighed. "It's like living in a Harry Potter movie."

Nate smirked. "He has a wand." Cami tilted her head at him. "It is not all bad. Just let me show you."

Boathouse

Ethan was explaining to Henry about what Charles did to him the night before. "He used a signa spell. I nearly drowned on the floor of my own bar."

"You were drunk," Henry told him. "I could tell when you called me last night."

"I'd been drinking, I wasn't drunk," Ethan corrected. "He used magic. He tried to threaten me, Henry."

Henry shook his head. "It's impossible. Everyone in your circle was stripped of their power."

"I know," Ethan agreed. "Believe me, I know. But he's figured out a way around that."

"Why would he be threatening you?" Henry asked.

"I was talking to Cassie and Cami Blake about their mother," Ethan answered. "He was worried I would say something stupid."

"Did you?" Henry asked.

Ethan gave him a look. "No. Of course not."

Chance Harbor High School - Outside

Diana, Elijah and Eli walked up to Melissa, Faye and Tricia. "Hey."

"I see you brought Elijah and Eli into this, Diana," Tricia told her. "Probably would've brought Cami, Eliot, Fiona, Max, Nate and Harper into it too if they, Adam and Cassie hadn't skipped for the rest of the day."

Melissa gave her a look. "Tricia. Hear Diana, Eli and Elijah out. What happened?"

"Adam took the blame," Diana answered. "He said he mixed the chemicals and miscalculated the chloride."

"And Mr. Herman believed him?" Faye asked.

"He couldn't explain it any better," Diana told them, giving Faye and Tricia a look for what they did in the lab. "Faye, Tricia, we got lucky no one was hurt. Now, when are you gonna get it through your head, we have to bind the circle?"

"Have fun," Faye told them.

Tricia sighed, not knowing what to do.

"Eli, Elijah, can't you talk to them?" Diana asked. "They listen to you two."

"Melissa..." Elijah trailed off for help.

Melissa looked at Faye and Tricia. "Maybe we should bind it. I don't like all this stray energy floating around."

"Especially if Tricia has another episode and something worse happens than what happened last night," Eli agreed.

"Thanks for the vote of confidence, Eli," Tricia told him sarcastically.

"Tricia, you gotta understand, if we bind the circle, then you won't have another night like last night," Elijah told her. "It'll be easier on you and on all of us."

Tricia sighed, conflicted. "I don't know, Elijah. I don't know what to do."

"Well, I do," Faye told her. "Say no, Tricia. It means we'll be linked. I don't want anyone to have a say in what I do. I don't want anyone to control me."

"But we'll have more strength as a group and can use it better," Diana told them.

"For what, world peace?" Faye asked. "Are we gonna save the turtles? Why can't we just enjoy it?"

"Because it's selfish and dangerous," Eli answered.

Faye nodded. "Yes, and I'm good with that. In fact, I'm great with it. I know you're just looking out for us, Eli, and so are Harper, Elijah and Eliot. But we're good here. Max doesn't want to dictate, and neither do you guys, but I'm not having Diana dictate what we all do."

Faye walked away. Melissa gave Tricia, Diana, Eli and Elijah an apologetic look, before running to catch up with Faye.

Tricia still looked conflicted.

Witch House

Adam and Cassie were inside.

Cassie looked at the herbs growing nearby. "Okay, what's this?"

"Some spells in Diana and Max's book, or Eli, Eliot and Elijah's book requires certain herbs and roots," Adam explained. "We've been experimenting."

Adam was looking at a bunch of lights, unplugging their cords, holding a light bulb in his hand and the cord.

"Are you crazy?" Cassie asked.

"It's grounded," Adam told her. "I'm holding it right now." Cassie scoffed. "Trust me." Cassie hesitantly took the cord. "Take my hand." Cassie grabbed Adam's hand, and the light bulb lit up. "Energy is flowing from the battery, through you, to me, to this." Adam let go of Cassie's hand, and the light bulb dimmed down. "Try it by yourself." Cassie took the light bulb from Adam. "Just concentrate on the energy." Cassie took a deep breath. "Feel the flow inside you. Focus." Cassie's bulb lit up and dimmed, repeatedly. "Okay, breathe. Slow, deep breaths. Look at me."

Cassie was looking into Adam's eyes. The bulb was slowly starting to light up.

Cami and Nate walked in, seeing them.

"What are you doing?" Cami asked.

The distraction caused Cassie to lose focus, making the light bulb shatter. She jumped, looking from Cami and Nate to Adamf. "This was a bad idea."

"I'm--I'm sorry," Cami told them.

Cassie shook her head. "No, it's my fault. I shouldn't have come."

Cassie left quickly.

Adam looked down in guilt.

Cami and Nate exchanged a look.

Boathouse

Harper was sitting on the floor behind the counter, drawing.

Eliot walked in, looking around, bored.

"I'm behind the counter," Harper called.

Eliot turned at the sound of his voice, walking closer to go behind the counter, looking at Harper, not surprised. "Let me guess. You drew me?"

"I drew you," Harper answered, showing Eliot his finished drawing that was of them at that exact moment.

Eliot rolled his eyes a little, amused, sitting down next to him. "Trying to sneak up on you is getting harder."

"Stop trying then," Harper told him.

Eliot smiled. "Never."

Harper couldn't help a smile. "You're unbelievable."

Eliot shrugged. "I try."

"As you try to be annoying?" Harper asked.

Eliot shook his head. "That just comes naturally."

"Not surprising," Harper remarked.

"So what are you doing here alone?" Eliot asked.

"Well, everyone seemed busy with their own thing, so I figured I would just be better alone," Harper told him.

"That's a stupid idea," Eliot told him.

"Eliot," Harper started.

"No, I mean it," Eliot told him. "You don't have to want to be alone or just leave everybody to their own thing."

"It's not that big of a deal, Eliot," Harper told him.

"Yes, it is," Eliot disagreed. "Come on, you're done, Harper."

Eliot stood up, taking Harper's sketchbook.

Harper stood up. "Eliot, I'm in the middle of a drawing."

Eliot smirked. "Come get it."

Eliot ran from the counter.

Harper tilted his head, following him. "Seriously?"

Outside

Eliot ran outside onto the dock, laughing. "Come on, Harper."

Harper followed. "Eliot, stop."

"I stopped," Eliot replied.

"Give me the book," Harper told him.

"You don't want it right now anymore," Eliot told him.

Harper scoffed. "Yes, I do."

"I'm far more interesting than a sketchbook, Harper," Eliot told him.

Harper nodded sarcastically. "Sure you are." He gave him a look. "You made me run after you. You interrupted me. What do I get from that?"

"You were feeling alone, and you hid behind a counter, 'cause you thought it was the right thing," Eliot pointed out. "But now you just chased me, and now you're trying to not laugh or smile."

Harper realized it was true, trying not to smile. "You're an idiot, Eliot weston."

Eliot smiled. "You are in serious need of fun, Harper Stone."

Harper shook his head. "I'm not gonna give you the satisfaction of telling you that you're right, so I won't say anything."

Eliot smirked, holding out the sketchbook. "Oh, right. So here."

Harper went to take it, but stopped, realizing Eliot was right, rolling his eyes, dropping his hand. "You know what? I'm thirsty, and over the whole sketchbook thing. I'm gonna get a drink."

"Oh, really?" Eliot asked, smiling.

"Yeah," Harper answered, turning around, walking away.

Eliot held up two fingers as he counted. "One, two."

"You coming?" Harper called.

"Three," Eliot finished, smirking, starting to follow.

They laughed, going to get a drink.

Sunset - Witch House - Outside

Cami walked outside, looking for her sister, but sighed when she realized that she was gone.

Nate walked outside. "Cami?"

"Cassie's gone," Cami told him. "Fiona, Max, Harper and Eliot are too."

"Looks like," Nate agreed. "Adam's leaving, too. Looks like it's just us."

"Yeah," Cami sighed. She turned to look at him. "Sorry about your window, by the way."

Nate chuckled. "Hmm, was wondering when that was gonna come up."

"I was just trying to close my curtains, and then your window shattered," Cami admitted.

"I get it, Cami," Nate told her. "You don't have to apologize or explain. I used a spell to fix the window before my aunt could come home and find out about it. She's hardly in town anymore anyway, so..."

"Sorry about that," Cami told him.

Nate nodded. "It is what it is. Not your fault. Or anyone's, really."

"Seems like Adam brought Cassie here to help her learn control," Cami told him. "After what happened with Faye and Tricia in the lab earlier."

"Yeah, seems like," Nate agreed.

"Cassie hates this witch thing," Cami told him. "But even she knows that she has to learn control or things will get even more out of hand. And I already asked you for help learning control before. And we did the sparks."

Nate chuckled, nodding. "Yeah, we did. What are you getting at?"

"I want to learn more," Cami answered. "I need to learn more, Nate. So that nothing bad like this happens again. What else can you show me?"

Nate smirked. "I can show you a lot, actually."

Cami gave him an amused look. "About magic, Nate. Not anything else."

"I was talking about magic," Nate told her. "What did you think I was talking about?" Cami tilted her head at him. Nate smirked. "Come here." Cami stepped closer. "The sun's out, right? Not a cloud in the sky, not a sign of anything brewing."

"Yeah," Cami agreed. "What's your point?"

Nate held up his hand, pointing up, chanting a spell. "Point of a finger like a lightning strike, shoot it up into the sky."

Nate shot lightning up into the sky.

Cami laughed in awe, shocked and impressed. "Oh, my God."

Nate smiled. "Awesome, right?"

"Yeah," Cami answered.

Nate took Cami's arm to point it up at the sky. "Now your turn." He helped Cami steady herself. "Steady. Breathe in deep. Imagine the lightning energy coursing through you up into the sky." Cami inhaled deeply as their skin touched. "You feel that tingling when we touch?" Cami nodded, not rejective to the touch of Nate as he helped her steady herself for that spell. "It feels electric, right?"

"Yeah," Cami answered in a whisper.

"Focus on that feeling, and imagine turning it into actual lightning that you can conjure and control and shoot up into the sky," Nate told her. Cami and Nate shared a look, both smiling a bit. "Don't psyche yourself out. You got this."

Cami took her gaze from Nate's, pointing up, taking a deep breath, focusing on everything he told her to do so she could do it herself. "Point of a finger like a lightning strike, shoot it up into the sky."

Cami shot lightning up into the sky, which was a very powerful burst of power that caused Cami to stumble back from the force of the energy.

Nate put his hands on her shoulders to help steady her, both laughing lightly. "That was perfect. You're a strong ass witch, Cami Blake."

Cami smirked, looking at him. "Well, you're a great teacher, Nate Armstrong." Cami and Nate looked at each other, smiling, chuckling. Cami took a deep breath. "I want to do more."

Nate smiled. "Good, because we're not done yet."

"What do you mean?" Cami asked.

"Before you got here, Fiona, Max, Eliot and I, we tethered ourselves to one of the elements," Nate explained. "We could do other elements, but the elements that defined us were fire for Fiona, earth for Max, air for me, and water for Eliot. And now you're really adapt at the lightning spell, so I'm pretty sure this element is for you."

"What do you mean?" Cami asked.

Nate took out a bottle, holding it toward her. "Take this and hold it up."

"Okay," Cami said, doing as told.

"Now I want you to concentrate on bringing a lightning strike from the sky to that bottle," Nate explained.

"What?" Cami asked in shock.

"What?" Nate asked. "You have a nag for electricity, so this is perfect."

"Lightning in a bottle?" Cami asked. "That's impossible."

Nate smirked. "We are witches, Cami. Nothing is impossible."

"Nate..." Cami trailed off.

"Come on," Nate told her. "You can do this. I believe in you."

For a moment, they looked at each other with slight smiles.

Cami sighed, nodding in agreement. "Okay." Cami held up the bottle like Nate demonstrated, closing her eyes, focusing on calling lightning to her. After a moment, thunder was heard from the skies, and a lightning strike struck down toward them, into Cami's body. Cami was able to trap the lightning inside the bottle, laughing in shock as she and Nate looked at each other, smiling. "That was awesome."

Nate smiled. "Glad you thought so. Tomorrow, I got a surprise for you, after the Sea Fair."

"Right," Cami agreed. "I gotta go to that with Cassie and Grandma."

Nate chuckled. "It's all right. We'll probably see each other there anyway."

Cami smiled, nodding. "Yeah."

Cami and Nate walked away together.

Day Two

Morning - Sea Fair

(Song:) Get Burned - Sleeper Agent

Jane, Cami and Cassie were walking through the carnival.

"Oh, uh, there's Sally," Cassie told them. She looked at Jane. "Are you gonna be okay without us?"

"Of course," Jane answered. "Have fun. I'll see you at home."

Cassie and Cami walked away, but Cami went her own way, while Cassie walked up to Sally.

"Hey," Sally told her.

"Hi," Cassie greeted.

"I didn't think you'd come," Sally told her. "I figured Faye and Fiona turned you against me."

"Faye and Fiona turned me against Fiona and Faye," Cassie told her.

"Well, we just became friends in this moment," Sally told her.

Cassie chuckled. "So what do I need to do?"

"It's super easy," Sally told her. "You just have to sell tickets."

Cassie nodded. "Okay, great. Easy's exactly what I need today."

Elsewhere

Tricia and Nick were walking together.

"Are we seriously doing this?" Tricia complained.

Nick smirked. "I swear, sometimes you're not even a girl."

"Is that a bad thing or a good thing?" Tricia asked.

"Well, if it meant that girls acted differently, then I'd say a good thing," Nick answered.

"You know I have no idea what you just said, right?" Tricia asked.

"Yeah, I know," Nick answered.

"Uh, you should've been there in chemistry yesterday," Tricia told him.

"Yeah, I heard," Nick told her. "So you, Melissa, Faye and Cassie had a battle of the power?"

"Sorta," Tricia answered.

Nick nodded in amusement. "Girl magic fight. Hmm. Yeah, you're right. I should've been there. Must've been hot." Tricia rolled her eyes, laughing as they walked up to Faye and Melissa as they used magic to win at the ring toss. Faye and Melissa looked away from the ring toss to toss the rings and magically compete. Tricia and Nick joined them. Nick smirked. "Boo."

Melissa looked at them.

"I win," Faye said smugly.

Melissa looked at Faye. "He broke my concentration."

Tricia rolled her eyes. "Okay, I'm bored."

"Let's turn it up a notch," Nick suggested. "Follow me, ladies."

Nick led them away. Tricia looked at Faye and Melissa, shrugging, following Nick. Melissa and Faye exchanged a look before following.

Henry had been watching Faye and Melissa.

Elsewhere

Fiona was using magic to win at another game.

Max walked by, seeing what Fiona was doing.

"Ready for a present?" Fiona asked sarcastically. Max grabbed Fiona's wrist before she could use more magic. "If you wanted to play rough, all you had to do was ask."

Max gave her a look, pulling Fiona away. "Are you trying to expose us?"

"I'm just trying to win a game without much effort," Fiona answered. "I wasn't gonna expose us. Relax, Max. You're acting like a hyper alert boyfriend."

Max scoffed. "Yeah, right. You wish."

Fiona smirked. "No, but I bet you do."

"Please," Max scoffed. "You forget who you're talking to."

"So do you," Fiona replied. "You're not good little boy scout anymore, and the reason why you act so bad with me is because you actually like the rebelling and the darkness because you've spent your entire life trying to be the good boy and now you're tired of it. Tell me if I'm wrong."

Max rolled his eyes. "Fiona--"

Fiona trailed a hand along Max's arm up to his shoulder, smirking. "And deep down, you know that you like me because you're attracted to that kind of darkness. Even if you deny it to me and yourself."

"You're not even that dark," Max replied. "You just pretend to be because Faye basically raised you to be her mini me, and you don't want to disappoint her."

"Yeah, I'm past that, Max," Fiona told him. "I do want to be my own person. Which is why I was ever even with you. You want to shed the good boy image a little bit, and I want to be me, and not Faye. So where does that leave us?"

"I don't know, Fiona," Max told her. "I don't know much of anything anymore."

Fiona smirked, chuckling a bit. Max shook his head, walking away.

Elsewhere

Diana walked up to Cassie and Cami. "Oh, hey, Cassie .Cami. How did you two get roped into volunteering?"

"I'm here for the distraction," Cassie answered.

"And I wanna get out there more," Cami added.

"Adam and Nate told me you guys practiced last night," Diana explained. "I'm happy to help some time if you want. The thing is, we need you. We can't be a circle without you."

Cassie shook her head. "I'm sorry, I can't do it. You're gonna have to find someone else."

"There is no one else," Diana told them. "You're part of one of the seven families. I thought you understood that."

"I do understand that," Cami answered. "And I want to be friends with Max, Nate and Fiona, apart of their circle. And with Eliot and Harper. But Cassie doesn't want to be friends with you, Tricia, Faye, Melissa, Nick, Adam, Elijah or Eli. I'm sorry, Diana."

"What you're asking is ludicrous," Cassie told her. "I can't just blindly agree to it."

"I know it's a lot to accept," Diana told them.

"It's too much," Cassie told them. "I can't."

"Why are you so scared?" Cami asked in annoyance.

"Of course I'm scared," Cassie told her. "How are you not? Look, I--I have a feeling, and then things explode."

"I'm trying to control it so I don't feel afraid," Cami answered. "And this isn't something that we can just go through alone. And it's stupid to think otherwise."

Diana nodded. "We need to bind the circle. Our energies are flying everywhere all at once. With no rhyme or reason. We have to contain it before someone gets really hurt."

Cassie shook her head. "I'm sorry. I don't think that I can help you."

Cassie walked away.

Cami sighed, looking at Diana. "Let me talk to her." Diana nodded. Cami walked toward Cassie. "You're being selfish."

"How am I being selfish?" Cassie asked.

"Because you're more focused on what this means for you than anyone else," Cami answered. "You think about how you don't want to be friends with them, how you don't want to be a witch, when all this magic running around is going to get someone hurt or killed, and you don't want to do anything about that?"

"I can't, Cami," Cassie told her.

"Yes, you can, Cassie," Cami told her. "You just don't want to. If someone gets hurt, that's gonna be on us, especially if you continue to refuse to have anything to do with it, since you and me are the only ones that can help them control it. I don't want to be the reason why someone gets hurt, and neither should you, so get over yourself and help us stop it."

Cassie was completely flabbergasted with the way that Cami had a point and the way she was talking, but was refusing to listen, walking away. Cami scoffed.

Alley

Nick, Tricia, Faye and Melissa were sitting together in the alley.

"Please not that no black cauldron was used in the making of this potion," Nick told them. He looked at Tricia. "Open up."

Tricia tilted her head back and opened her mouth so Nick could squeeze a drop into her mouth. "Hmm. What's in it?"

"All natural herbs and spices, just boiled down to a q," Nick answered.

"It tastes like cinnamon," Tricia told him. "And you got this from Diana and Max's book? Will it work?"

Nick shrugged, smiling, turning to Faye.

Faye tilted her head back and opened her mouth so Nick could squeeze a drop into her mouth. She looked at Melissa. "Are you gonna try it?"

Melissa shook her head. "No, I'm good. Thanks."

"So what do I tell Eli, Elijah, Eliot, Diana and Max?" Nick asked. "They won't stop with the binding ritual crap."

"You tell them to shove that ritual up her hoo-ha," Faye told him.

Nick and Tricia laughed.

"Everything's been out of whack since Cassie and Cami got here," Nick told them.

"You know, I think we should listen to Diana, Max, Eliot, Eli and Elijah," Melissa told them. "They're the ones with the rulebooks."

"We could find our own," Tricia suggested.

Faye shook her head. "We just need to practice more. More power requires more practice."

"You started a monsoon and couldn't stop it, Fiona had to, and Tricia's episode the other night nearly started a wild forest fire," Melissa pointed out.

Nick laughed.

Tricia sighed. "Oh, could we all just let that go?"

Nick turned to Tricia with more of the potion, and Tricia gladly tilted her head back to take some, and then he did the same for Faye, then himself. And then again for all three, as Melissa was starting to walk away.

Fair

Dawn was looking at some necklaces, sensing she was being watched by her father in law. "Enjoying yourself, Henry?"

Dawn turned to face Henry.

"Ethan Conant said Charles Meade threatened him with magic," Henry explained, leading Dawn away to talk to her alone. "He said Charles used the signa on him when he overheard him talking to Cassie and Cami Blake about their mother."

"I don't believe it," Dawn told him. "Ethan isn't exactly a reliable source. He's an alcoholic. And Charles, he doesn't have any power. None of us do. Your circle took care of that."

"I'd be inclined to agree with you, except I've witnessed it," Henry told her.

"Henry, nobody is practicing," Dawn told him. "Those days are over."

"The children," Henry told her. "I saw them today. Your own daughters are two of them."

Dawn feigned surprise. "Faye? Fiona?"

"With the Blake girls back in town, the older teenagers have a complete circle," Henry explained. "All of them can awaken to their full potential. We have to stop them."

"They don't know anything," Dawn told him. "We've kept this from them."

"I'm going to take care of it," Henry told her. "I swore I would never let what happened to your circle ever happen again."

Henry tried to walk away.

Dawn caught his arm. "Henry, stop. Look, I know we've had our differences, but I lost my husband. I'm not about to let something happen to Fiona and Faye. Let me help you. Tell me what I can do."

Later

Dawn was now lecturing Charles. "What were you thinking? That he wouldn't say anything? Use your head."

"I may have gone too far, but we can't have Ethan running his mouth off about Amelia," Charles told her. "He could blow it for us."

Dawn scoffed. "No, you've already taken care of that."

"What are we going to do about Henry?" Charles asked.

"You're not going to do anything except give me that crystal," Dawn answered. "That is all the power we have. If we use it up, we have nothing. We can't waste it."

"Okay," Charles agreed. "You made your point."

Charles took out the crystal, looking at it.

"Look, I get it," Dawn told him. "It feels good to do magic again. It's seductive. But we have to be smart, Charles. Just think of the bigger picture."

Charles sighed, giving in, handing the crystal to Dawn, who smiled and put the crystal in her pocket.

Boathouse

Harper was working, walking up to Ethan.

"Hey, Harper," Ethan greeted.

"Hey," Harper replied. "Um, the other night, you were talking to Cassie and Cami about their mom."

Ethan sighed. "I was drinking again. I'm sorry if I said anything inappropriate."

"You were talking about your families are aligned again," Harper told him. "You said that a lot while Adam and I were growing up, but you never explained how they are."

Ethan chuckled. "There's this old legend about our families, some astrological lore about the Blakes and the Conants on some collision course of destiny. It's silly."

Harper chuckled. "I've never really believed in astrology."

"Me either," Ethan agreed. "To be honest, I just know that whenever I was around Amelia, I'd get this feeling.  This attraction to her that was impossible to ignore. All she had to do was look at me or smile just right, and I'd like up inside. No one else could do that." Harper smiled a bit. "Like I said, it's silly."

Harper shook his head. "Uh, no. Not at all."

Waterfront

(Song:) Time Stands Still - Uh-Huh Her

Cami was walking along the sand of the water front.

Nate was standing by the water, turning his head to see Cami. "Aren't you supposed to be working the fair?"

Cami smirked. "I'm taking a break."

Nate nodded in amusement. "I see that."

"What are you doing out here?" Cami asked.

"Reminiscing," Nate answered with a sigh.

"About what?" Cami asked.

Nate looked at her, turning to face her. "Nate, Jake and I used to come out here when we were kids, fishing. Tricia sometimes came with us. One time, Diana and Max's dad Charles took us all out on his boat so that we could go out over the water to fish."

Cami smiled a bit. "That sounds great."

"Yeah, it was," Nate agreed. "That was back before Tricia's aunt died, two years ago. The same night Jake skipped town after he stole from Adam's dad, who also takes care of Harper. He took off and was never heard from again. That's when Tricia's episodes started, because of her bipolar, depression, after her aunt died and Jake skipped town without saying goodbye on top of everything."

Cami was stunned. "My God."

Nate sighed, acting like it didn't affect him. "Yeah. Jake didn't know that Tricia's aunt died, and he probably still doesn't, but it doesn't change what happened. Nick and I tried to help Tricia after that. But it wasn't until Eli, Eliot and Elijah came to town that we could really help her. Since Eli and Elijah are better at it than we are."

Cami looked at him in realization. "You feel guilty."

Nate scoffed unconvincingly. "And why would I feel guilty?"

"For what Jake did to Tricia, even if he didn't know about her aunt, and that you and Nick couldn't help her much," Cami answered. "You and Nick put on a good show that you two don't feel anything, but it's obvious you two care a lot about Tricia. And I can tell guilt when I see it."

"And why is that?" Nate asked.

Cami took a deep breath, walking with Nate. "The night that my mother died, I snuck out to go to a party, and Cassie came to get me and bring me home. We got a flat tire on the ride home, and so we weren't there when our house caught on fire. And we weren't there to help save Mom. Cassie told me that it wasn't my fault, that her death wasn't my fault, but..."

Nate was surprised by the admission, sighing heavily. "It's not." Cami looked at him. "It's not your fault, Cami."

"Just like what happened with Jake and Tricia is not your or Nick's fault, Nate," Cami told him. They looked at each other for a moment, looking away. Cami forced a light laugh. "Wow. That got dark fast."

Nate chuckled ."Yeah, it did. Why don't we go have some fun at this stupid fair dance tonight?"

Cami smiled. "I'd like that."

Nate and Cami smiled at each other and went back toward the Boathouse.

Waterfront - Elsewhere

Cassie was sitting on a bench, watching the sunset.

Adam joined her, sitting down. "Hey. So I've been asked to come over here and convince you to bind the circle."

Cassie nodded. "Yeah. She kind of struck out."

"Yeah, so I heard," Adam agreed.

"Cami and I got into a fight about it," Cassie explained. "She basically called me selfish for me thinking about how this only effects me and my fear, and how it's stupid to think about only me when it involves everyone else, and how we could stop someone from getting hurt." Adam nodded a little. "What did you tell Diana about last night?"

"That I showed you how to focus and harness your energy," Adam answered. "She's okay with that."

"Does it always feel like last night?" Cassie asked.

"There's always some physical reaction," Adam explained.

Cassie tilted her head. "You know what I mean." They both looked away. "Okay, so if we bind the circle, then we'll be able to control it better?"

"Yes," Adam answered.

"No more exploding light bulbs, sparks flying, forest wild fires from Tricia's episodes, monsoons?" Cassie asked.

"I don't think so," Adam answered.

(Song Ends)

Further back, Diana was watching Adam and Cassie.

Max walked closer. "Something wrong?"

"Not that I know of," Diana answered. "Max, did you get to talk to Fiona?"

"I talked to her," Max answered. "Fiona still doesn't want to listen, not yet at least." He noticed Adam and Cassie. "Seriously, Diana, you are two minutes away from losing him."

"I want to bind the circle tonight," Diana told him.

"Yeah, sure, if you, me, Harper, Adam, Eli, Elijah and Eliot can get through to Faye, Fiona, Cassie, Cami, Melissa, Nick, Nate and Tricia," Max told her.

"I think Melissa and Cami are basically convinced, thanks to us, the Westons and Harper," Diana explained. "And Fiona will be convinced if we convince Faye, and Nick and Nate just need a nudge. Tricia's worried about what will happen if something goes wrong given her disorder, but Eli, Eliot and Elijah promise that it won't make things worse for her, so we just gotta make Tricia see that. It'll work, Max. I promise."

Night - Dock

(Song:) Double 0 Zero - The HiHi's

It was a party on the dock that night.

Fiona was dancing in the crowd, getting attention and jealousy from Max as she was dancing with another guy, smirking smugly at Max, winking, pleased with his reaction.

Faye and Nick were dancing, grinding. Faye was clearly trying to a reaction out of Eli, who was watching across the dock, smiling at him. Eli rolled his eyes, looking away.

Melissa was watching Faye and Nick, jealous, hurt.

Elijah leaned against the dock railing next to Melissa. "Fiona and Faye really know how to get a reaction out of Max and Eli, and Nick really knows how to get a reaction out of you, Melissa."

"What?" Melissa asked. "What are you talking about?"

"Oh, come on," Elijah told her. "It's obvious you're jealous. You like him."

Melissa laughed, shaking her head. "I'm not jealous, and I do not like him, Elijah."

Elijah nodded sarcastically in amusement. "Mm-hmm. Let's say for argument's sake that I believe you. I know that hurt look is probably because your best friend Faye is dancing with Nick. I'm sure she doesn't know that you like him and she's not trying to hurt you. She's just trying to get a reaction out of Eli."

"You think so?" Melissa asked.

"Yeah," Elijah answered. "Faye and Eli hooked up a few times. I'm sure she's just trying to make Eli jealous, and not trying to hurt you."

Melissa smiled. "Thanks, Elijah."

"Don't thank me," Elijah told her. "I'm just stating the truth. Which is obvious, Melissa." They laughed lightly. "What I don't get is why Max is reacting the way he is with Fiona trying to get a reaction out of him."

"Oh, Faye told me that Fiona and Max hooked up once, when Max started his rebel scout phase," Melissa explained. "It was recent, so I guess Fiona's just trying to get Max to own up to what they did, or have, or whatever."

Elijah nodded in amusement. "Right. Okay. Why be witches when we're already teenagers filled up to the top with drama?"

Melissa laughed. "Right?"

They smiled.

Nick, while dancing with Faye, saw Elijah and Melissa talking and laughing, looking jealous, while groping with Faye.

Faye backed out of the dance. "Stop groping. It's not gonna happen."

"Why are you fighting?" Nick asked. "Just go with it."

"Do you honestly think that I would get with you?" Faye asked. She walked toward Elijah and Melissa. "Would you hit that? I'd have to leave my self-esteem at the door."

"Apparently your tact, too," Elijah told her.

Eli walked closer. "Hey, Elijah, have you seen Tricia?"

"No, not recently," Elijah answered. "Why? You haven't seen her?"

"No," Eli answered. "And with drinking and drugs around, with all this power, probably not the best idea to leave her alone right now, in front of all these people."

Faye smirked. "Ah, Eli in protective daddy mode. Don't worry. Tricia's getting another drink."

"Yeah, but you and Tricia did take Nick's herbal remedy," Melissa pointed out. "Plus her drinking?"

"Everybody relax," Faye told them. "Tricia's fine."

Tricia was getting another drink across the dock, but looking kind of out of it, and having issues.

Harper and Eliot walked by, seeing her.

"Hey, Tricia, what's up?" Harper asked.

Tricia was winded by the feeling of the witchy drugs and the alcohol, plus her own disorder and all the people around.

"Tricia?" Eliot asked. "You okay?"

"Fine," Tricia lied.

"Do you need some help?" Eliot asked. "We can get Eli and Elijah over here."

Tricia lightly hit her hand on the counter to try and calm down. "I said I'm fine."

When Tricia hit the counter, the lights on the dock flickered.

"You did that," Eliot realized. "You're a little firecracker, aren't you, Tricia?"

"Shut up, Eliot," Tricia replied. "Harper, get Eli and Elijah."

Harper turned to call out. "Eli! Elijah!"

Eli and Elijah walked across the dock toward them. Faye and Melissa exchanged a look, following. Max and Fiona saw them, walking closer.

"What's going on?" Fiona asked.

Nick, Nate and Cami saw the gathering of the circle around Tricia, walking closer in concern.

"Tricia?" Nick asked. "You okay?"

"She's about to have an episode," Eli answered. "We gotta get her out of here."

Tricia clenched her fists as thunder struck overhead, and lightning flashed in the sky.

"Whoa," Cami said.

"Come on, Tricia," Nate told her. "Breathe."

Tricia tried to breathe, backing away, as wind blew through the dock and the lights flickered again. "Stay back."

"Tricia, come on," Max told her. "Please. Let's get you out of here."

"Don't touch me, unless you guys wanna get hurt," Tricia told them.

"All right," Elijah agreed. "We just have to get you out of here."

"Come on," Nick told her. "It's okay."

Sally walked closer. "Hey, is everything okay?"

Faye rolled her eyes, trying to get her away so that she wouldn't get too close and see what was going on. "Not now, Sally."

Sally rolled her eyes. "Yes, now, Faye. I am so sick of your superiority complex."

"Okay, Sally, why don't you just go away?" Fiona asked.

"What, now you have a problem, Fiona?" Sally asked.

Tricia was starting to get more out of hand, so Fiona and Faye's urgency and annoyance with Sally only grew.

"No," Fiona answered. "We just need you to go away."

When Fiona and Faye pushed Sally away from Tricia, Fiona's 'go away' accidental spell magically threw Sally away from them, and threw her off the dock to the ground below, much to the shock of everyone. Faye was frozen in fear. Other people ran to check on Sally on the rocks below.

"Nate, Nick, get Tricia out of here," Cami told them.

Nate and Nick nodded, turning to Tricia.

"Come on, Tricia," Nate told her.

Nate and Nick got Tricia away.

Fiona ran to the edge of the dock to look over at Sally, gasping in horror.

Max turned Fiona away. "Fiona, look at me. You didn't mean to, okay?"

Fiona buried her face in her hands, turning away into the embrace of Max.

"Faye..." Eli trailed off. Faye couldn't move, completely in shock and horror. Eli pulled her away from the edge. "It's okay. It's gonna be okay."

Cassie and Cami ran down to check on Sally.

Melissa was horrified. "Faye, Fiona, what did you do?"

Cassie called up to the others. "She's not breathing!"

Dawn ran over to the dock edge to look  down at Cassie, Cami and Sally. "Somebody call an ambulance."

"I called already," Diana explained. "They're on their way."

Charles stood with Diana and Max.

Fiona was trying hard to not show a reaction, but it was clear that she was terrified and torn up with guilt over possibly killing a student. Max embraced her.

Eli held Faye as she was trying not to fall apart as well.

Dawn ran down to the rocks, kneeling next to Sally, looking at Cami and Cassie. "Step back."

Cami and Cassie backed away. Dawn hovered over Sally, putting the crystal to her head. Henry walked up to the edge of the dock, looking down at Dawn and Sally, though he couldn't see the crystal. Dawn was whispering the spell in Sally's ear. Sally coughed, gasping, waking up.

The crowd gasped in shock and relief.

Cassie knelt next to Sally. "It's okay, it's okay. No, no, no. Don't move."

Later

Dawn was watching the ambulance drive Sally away.

Charles walked toward her. "You used the crystal. I thought we weren't going to waste it."

Dawn turned to face him. "We don't kill innocent children."

"You have a very interesting set of rules there, Dawn," Charles told her. "You'll have to explain them to me sometime."

"It was Faye and Fiona's fault," Dawn explained. "I saw it. They were trying to help the others deal with Tricia Hartley's episode, and they tried to get Sally away, and then this happened. They're my daughters. That kind of guilt would have destroyed them. What would you have done if it were Diana or Max?" Charles knew that she had a point. "And you saw the way Max was comforting Fiona tonight."

"I did," Charles agreed. "Max wouldn't want that kind of pain for Fiona."

"No, he wouldn't," Dawn agreed. "So don't you dare judge me for tonight."

Boathouse

Faye and Fiona were standing together, watching through the window as the ambulance drove Sally away. Max and Eli were with them.

"Paramedic said she's gonna be okay," Eli told them.

Faye and Fiona sighed in relief, turning to face them. Cassie, Cami, Diana, Melissa, Adam, Nick, Tricia, Nate, Elijah, Eliot and Harper were also here.

"We didn't mean for anyone to get hurt," Fiona told them. "We really didn't."

Tricia looked at Cassie and Cami. "With you here, we can do more. We just have to will things, and they happen. I couldn't control myself tonight. I could've hurt someone worse than Fiona and Faye did."

"Yeah, but you didn't," Nick told her.

"We made sure of it," Nate agreed.

"You guys can't let your feelings control you like this," Elijah told them.

"It's too dangerous," Harper agreed.

"Yeah," Eliot added. "And that's coming from me."

Faye hesitated. "But I like... I don't want this to go away."

Cami sighed worriedly. "I don't think we have a choice." Tricia crossed her arms over her chest. "It's too dangerous. If we can't control what we feel or what we think, we're just gonna keep hurting people."

Cami gave Cassie a look.

Cassie sighed, giving in. "Look, I don't wanna be connected to you anymore than you wanna be to me, but no one else can get hurt. It's wrong. Diana, Max, Eliot, Eli and Elijah are right. We have to bind the circle."

Everyone seemed to agree after what happened that night.

Diana looked at Cassie, Faye, Melissa, Adam, Nick and Tricia. "We'll meet at the beach at midnight."

Chamberlain House - Living Room

Dawn was home alone, pouring herself a glass of wine.

Henry walked in. "It was Charles that threw me. At first, I thought he pushed the children to form a circle and then used their power to somehow reestablish his, but then I realized Charles Meade is many things; clever is not one of them. And then I saw you." Dawn turned to face him. "You couldn't have saved that girl tonight without a crystal. Where'd you get it? They were all destroyed."

"It was wrong of you to strip us of our power," Dawn told him.

"There was a time for witchcraft," Henry told her. "That time is long gone. There's no place for it in this world anymore."

Dawn shook her head. "You've forgotten what it feels like. How long has it been since you practiced? 15 years?"

"This circle is different," Henry told her. "You know what can be unleashed if they bind together. I'm going to the Elders tomorrow, and tell them what's going on here. Give me the crystal."

Dawn took out the crystal. "You know, Henry, I've got a better idea. I think you should go back to the lake and take it easy." She started to use magic to give Henry a heart attack. "It'd be awful if you had another heart attack." Henry fell to his knees, gasping, looking at her in betrayal. Dawn walked closer. "You might not survive it this time. You should know... I loved your son."

Dawn watched as Henry died and fell to the floor, turning around, walking away.

(Song:) Our Jewel - Janurary

Adam was driving Diana home.

"I'll get the book," Diana told him. "You drive Cassie to the beach. Tricia's riding with Nick. Faye and Melissa will meet us there. Apparently Max, Cami, Fiona, Eliot, Nate and Harper are doing their own thing. Eli and Elijah want to be at the beach so they can help us bind the circle."

"Well, you did it," Adam told her. "You convinced them to bind the circle with us. I don't know what to expect. Do you?"

"No," Diana answered. "Not really."

"So how do we know it'll work?" Adam asked.

"I don't know, Adam," Diana told him. "Max and I just found the stupid book. We didn't go looking for it. I don't know anymore than you or anyone else."

Adam put an arm behind her. "What's going on?"

Diana shook her head. "Nothing." She sighed, looking at Adam. "I don't know what I'm doing. I pretend like I do, but...do I have anything to worry about with you and Cassie?"

Adam frowned. "Why would you ask that?"

"Because I'm insecure," Diana answered. "And I love you."

"Come here," Adam told her. They kissed. "I love you, too."

(Song Ends)

Chamberlain House - Foyer

Faye and Fiona were still shaken up when they returned home.

Dawn was sitting in the dark. "You're home." She turned on the light. "Your grandfather drove back to the lake tonight. He said to tell you goodbye. What happened tonight? Were you drinking?"

"Things got a little out of hand," Fiona admitted.

"I'm the high school principal in this town," Dawn told them. "It's how people see me. What do you think runs through their minds after something like tonight?"

"I'm sorry," Faye told her. "We didn't mean to embarrass you."

Dawn shook her head. "You embarrassed yourselves." Faye and Fiona were only feeling worse because of what she was saying, both annoyed. Dawn stood, walking closer to embrace both her daughters in a rare sign of compassion, which surprised them both. "Come here. That girl could have been you tonight."

Fiona closed her eyes, fighting back tears.

Faye held them. "Fiona, Mom, everything's going to be okay."

Street

Cassie was walking down the street.

Adam drove up to her. "Get in. I'll take you there."

"I'm good," Cassie told him. "Seriously, I want to walk. I like it. It's a nice night."

"Come on, we're friends now," Adam told her.

"Sure, friends bound for eternity," Cassie told him sarcastically. "Totally normal."

"It's the right thing to do, you know," Adam pointed out. "For all of us. Especially Tricia with her episodes."

Cassie nodded. "I hope so."

"So, okay, friend thing settled," Adam told her. "Get in already. The beach is two miles away, and I promised Diana I'd bring you."

Adam stopped. Cassie walked around the car to get into the passenger seat. Electricity cackled as she did, and the light over the car shattered.

Beach

(Song:) Victory Dance - Morning Jacket

Eli and Elijah stood by the beach shoreline, to help bind the circle.

Tricia, Nick and Melissa were already gathered at a bonfire. Diana and Adam walked closer from one side. Faye and Cassie walked closer from the other. Tricia, Nick, Melissa, Diana, Adam, Faye and Cassie stood around the fire. Eli and Elijah walked closer to help mind the circle. They all looked at each other.

Elijah started the ritual to bind them. "Fire, earth, metal, air, water and blood. By these elements, we bind your circle and follow in the steps of your ancestors, who pledged themselves to fight against the forces of darkness."

Eli continued the ritual. "When evil assails you, when fear weakens you, when dissent threatens you, in the circle you will find your power. You come to this place alone, but leave bound as one. With this oath, your journey begins together. Do you accept the circle?"

The circle was surrounded with a chorus of "I accept"s.

The fire in the bonfire burned higher, brighter, and more dangerously before returning to normal.

Forest

Nate was leading Cami through the woods.

Cami had a cover over her eyes. "Why did I agree to this?"

Nate smirked. "It'll be worth it, I promise."

"When?" Cami asked.

"Right now," Nate answered, taking off the cover.

Cami looked around, seeing many glowing bottles hanging by cords on the trees.

Max, Fiona, Eliot and Harper were on a picnic blanket. "Surprise!"

Cami looked around, amazed. "I don't understand. What's all of this?"

"Remember what I said, that we bound ourselves to elements and all?" Nate asked. "Well, you're looking at them."

"God, you people are so out of Harry Potter," Cami told them.

Eliot smirked in amusement, pretending to be offended. "We're witches, not wizards. They're so condescending."

"Wait, wizards are real, too?" Cami asked.

The others didn't answer, looking at each other, smirking.

"Moving on," Max stated.

"Now that the circle is about to be bound, or is already, we figured we needed a ritual of our own," Fiona explained, standing up.

"And since now, you did your first element bottle..." Harper trailed off, pulling out Cami's lightning bottle.

Cami looked at Nate. "You kept that?"

"Duh," Nate answered. "It's a memorial object."

"Plus, it's a bottle full of lightning, Cami," Eliot told her. "What did you think we were gonna do with it? Throw it away?"

"Never," Cami answered.

Max smirked. "Exactly."

"So what do we do now?" Cami asked.

"First we toast," Harper answered, handing out drinks, as they each took one. "To having an older bound circle."

"Since Eli and Elijah are binding Tricia, Cassie, Diana, Faye, Melissa, Nick and Adam as we speak," Eliot agreed. "To no more Tricia magical episodes."

Nate looked at Cami, smirking. "No more broken glass."

Cami shrugged. "Possibly."

Max looked at Fiona. "No more storms."

Fiona pointed at him. "I didn't start that, Faye did, and no promises."

Harper looked at Fiona, Eliot and Cami. "No more electrical explosions."

"Hopefully," Eliot told them.

Harper raised his drink. "And to more control and no more problems. Cheers."

"Cheers," they all said, taking a drink, clapping.

"So, since I'm the new girl, I have to ask, what do we do now?" Cami asked.

Fiona smirked. "I'm so glad you asked, Cami."

"It's time to combine and free the magic," Max explained.

"Wait, we're gonna combine all of this and free it?" Cami asked.

"Hell yeah," Eliot answered.

"This is gonna be so awesome," Harper told them. "I've been waiting for this moment since the first elemental bottle."

"Let's do it, then," Cami told them.

Eliot smirked, impressed with Cami's reaction. "Look at you, Sabrina the newbie witch."

"Get ready to have your mind blown," Fiona told her. "All right, witches up."

Nate, Fiona, Cami, Eliot and Max stood in a circle, holding hands.

"Repeat after us, Cami," Nate told her.

Cami nodded.

Nate, Fiona, Eliot and Max spoke together. "Elements we call together. A binding thread which lasts forever. Join and fuse the essence bound to charm and protect what is found. Lightning, earth, water, fire and air, lock within and never tear."

Nate, Fiona, Cami, Eliot and Max repeated the spell, and as they did, a glowing gold aura surrounded them. "Elements we call together. A binding thread which lasts forever." The bottled started to open, and all the elements started to come out of the bottles and swirl around each of the witches for their element. (Earth for Max, water for Eliot, fire for Fiona, and air for Nate). "Join and fuse, the essence bound to charm and protect what is found." Harper opened up Cami's bottle, freeing the lightning, which went straight at Cami and started to swirl around her like the soil was swirling around Max, water was swirling around Eliot, fire was swirling around Fiona, and visible air was swirling around Nate. "Lightning, earth, water, fire and air." The elements joined together, linking around the five witches in the shape of a pentagram one by one. The energy started to glow even while the witches kept chanting with their eyes closed. Harper had to close his eyes as well. "Lock within and never tear."

The witches stopped chanting as the energy separated, and there was a flash of light.

Nate, Fiona, Cami, Eliot, Max and Harper opened their eyes, amazing. The energy started to go into the sky in all directions, circling around each other in a spiral, as glowing magical flowers started to appear all around them, and glowing magical lights started to go around them as if they were alive. They all looked around, smiling in awe, looking at each other, knowing that even if they weren't bound together like the older circle, they would always have each other's backs, amazed by what they could do together already.
