chapter 5 - Good Form
Neverland
Day One
Night - Island
The lost boys were running through the jungle, torches in hand, toward a cage to put Neal inside.
"You heard Pan," Felix told them. "You know what to do with them."
ღ
Pan's Camp
Lost boys were playing. Rose, Grace and Henry were sitting on the sidelines, watching.
A lost boy named Devin approached them, nudging them each with a stick, scoffing. "So you're the kids Pan's been looking for all this time?"
"Ask him," Grace told him.
Devin went to act like he would attack them.
Rose pushed him back. "Stop it."
"If you can't take this, how are you gonna handle what Pan has in store for you?" Devin asked.
Henry looked down, seeing a stick lying on the ground. Devin nodded, encouraging Henry to pick it up. Henry picked it up. Devin charged as they engaged in a fake sword fight with the sticks.
Peter was watching. "Not bad, but wouldn't it be more fun, if you had real swords?"
"We've never used real swords," Henry told him.
Peter chuckled. "This is Neverland." He used magic to take the cuffs off of Rose and Grace. "And you two are more powerful than you even give yourselves credit for. You can use whatever you want. Illusionist and the Enchantress, Grace and Rose, what do you think you can do? Go on, it's been a while since you've used magic, so I can tell you're dying to use it now that the cuffs are off." Rose took a stick from the ground, using magic to turn it into a sword. Grace was concentrating on the ground and the earth around her, making it shake around them in an earthquake that left the lost boys, Peter, Rose and Henry stumbling to the ground. Peter smiled, impressed. "There you go, Grace. What are you waiting for? Go on." Grace used her power to take down many of the lost boys, power swirling around her in a way that proved the name Illusionist for her, the innocent girl with the deadly, uncontrollable power. Rose sent a burst of her own power through the blade of the sword she had created to take down more. The boys and Peter were laughing in amusement. "Go on, Rose, go for it! Keep going, Grace, come on!" With one stroke of her sword, Rose cut Devin's stick in half. "Come on, Rose!"
Grace had accidentally used too much power that was beyond her control that she had hurt many of the boys around her, shocked. "I'm sorry. It was an accident."
Peter chuckled. "Grace. Don't you know the best thing about being a lost boy or a lost girl? You never apologize. Come on."
The lost boys cheered loudly. Peter encouraged Henry, Rose and Grace to raise their arms in a victorious gesture. Henry, Rose and Grace had tried to use the distraction to flee the camp, but only to realize that they were stuck with a barrier spell.
Henry sighed. "Great."
"There goes that plan," Rose told them. She looked at Grace. "You got any others?"
Grace sighed, shaking her head. "Not yet."

Cave
The group was in the cave.
Ella was going through things.
Killian approached. "Need a hand, love?"
"Is that a joke?" Ella asked.
Killian walked over to help. "Hmm, no, being quite serious."
They saw tally marks on the walls.
"Wow," Freya told them.
"What is it?" Emma asked.
"We found where Neal, Tori, Saphira and Mathias marked their days trapped on this island," Freya answered.
The three Matthews looked at the wall.
"What's wrong?" Snow asked.
"Look here," Saphira told them, pointing at the wall. "That's when we stopped counting."
"When you got off the island?" Snow asked.
"No," Tori answered. "We were here longer."
"Then why would you..." David trailed off.
"Because we lost hope," Tori answered.
"I did that each time I was sent to a new foster home," Lisa admitted. "I counted days until counting seemed pointless."
"And you think the same thing's happening to Henry, Rose and Grace?" Alcina asked.
Lisa nodded. "Pan said that it would."
Alcina looked at all of them. "Hey. We're gonna rescue them."
Tori sighed. "Yeah. We know that. You know that. But Henry, Rose and Grace don't know that."
"Pan wants them to lose faith," Alcina told them.
"So what, you want to send them a message?" Regina asked. "Because I haven't seen a Neverland post office."
"What are you suggesting?" Emma asked.
"We take a page from Pan," Freya answered. "We start being clever. We need to send a simple sign. A sign that we're coming."
Regina sighed. "Yeah. With lost boys running around? Trying to kill us all?"
"Yeah," Snow answered. "Maybe it's time we use that to our advantage."
"How?" Regina asked.
"Follow us," Saphira told them. "We can show you."
They started to walk out together.
Killian stepped in front of Ella. "Ella, I..."
"What?" Ella asked. "We're wasting time."
"I just want you to know I do know what it feels like to lose hope," Killian told her.
Ella sighed. "I know what this is. This, you trying to bond with me. So save your breath. At least until I get my kids and their cousin back."
Killian nodded. Ella walked out. Killian turned to follow.
Emma was waiting. "Let me give you a bit of advice, Hook. Stay away from my sister. She's been hurt one time too many. And you're a pirate. So pretty sure you would hurt her more."

Enchanted Forest
Day - Sea
Killian and his brother Liam were on board of a ship, ready to set sail.
"Apologizes, leftenant," a sailor told him.
"That's leftenant Jones, sailor," Killian corrected. "The captain is in transit with new orders from the king himself. Before his arrival, this ship will be swabbed from stem to stern, and..." He saw that a sailor had a flask of rum, taking it. "Rum, sailor? Does anyone know what happens to sailors who drink rum? They get drunk, and drunkenness leads to bad form. There's one thing that won't be tolerated aboard this ship, it's bad form."
Killian threw the flask of rum into the water.
Liam smiled. "My ship has never been in finer hands."
"Aye, captain," Killian told him. "We stand ready to receive the king's orders."
Liam called out to his crew. "To your stations!" The crew went to do as told. "When the king summoned me, I knew that there was only one man I could trust to navigate this difficult journey, my little brother."
Killian sighed. "Perhaps you mean younger brother."
Liam opened his satchel to reveal gold, handing a piece to Killian. "A gift to commemorate our latest voyage together."
Killian chuckled. "A sextant. You always were the sentimental type."
Liam rolled his eyes. "Look closer, brother."
Killian took a closer look. "I've never seen markings like this. To what strange land are we headed?"
"I'm under orders not to say until we arrive," Liam told him. "But, brother, this is the mission of our dreams. The mission that will bring peace to the kingdom, and glory to the Jones brothers."
Killian smiled. "A hero's journey. That is indeed good form, brother." He called out. "Master Boyson... all hands prepare to set sail. Make speed!"

Night - Camp
The group sat at their camp. Killian and Ella looked at each other before looking away.
Lisa sighed. "A trap? That's your plan?"
"The lost boys wanna come after us," Saphira told them. "We go after them."
"You really think a lost boy is gonna betray Pan?" Alcina asked.
"Thanks for the advice," Snow told her. "David?"
"Yeah?" David asked.
"We need more vines," Snow answered.
David nodded. "On it, and Mathias, Jefferson and Hook can come with."
"Who says?" Jefferson asked.
"We do," Mathias answered. "If the ladies insists..."
Jefferson sighed, knowing why the boys really wanted to talk, standing to follow them into the jungle. "What would you like to yell at me about now?"
"We saw you and Freya earlier, Jefferson," Mathias told him. "When you started to get a pain in your head, so did Freya, and then she lashed out."
"You said that if you died, Freya would get all the madness," David told him. "That's what you meant, right?"
Jefferson sighed. "There was a spell that Cilla did when we were kids, and it linked my mind to hers. It made it to where she could free some of the madness in my head by taking it into hers. Freya and I didn't know it back then, but we figured it out once we were separated more than once."
"The less you're around each other, the worse the madness gets for both of you," Mathias realized. "And if you die, all that madness goes into Freya's head."
Jefferson nodded. "But if I do die..."
"When," Killian corrected.
Jefferson ignored him. "It'll be in helping my family, helping Freya stay sane, and helping save my Grace and niece and nephew."
Killian considered this for a moment. "What if I told you there's a way to save you?"
"I know you wanna save Henry, Rose and Grace, but if we don't save you, then Freya's gonna lose her mind," David told him. "And then Grace and Lisa will lose not only you but Freya too."
Jefferson couldn't answer because he was breathing heavily in agony, feeling weak and lightheaded.
"Jefferson?" Mathias asked. "Jefferson, hey."
They lowered him to the ground. Jefferson was unconscious.
David tried to wake him up. "Jefferson? Jefferson!"
ღღ
Killian poured rum into Jefferson's mouth to wake him up. Jefferson gasped awake, coughing.
"Have another drink?" Mathias asked.
"No, thank you," Jefferson answered, pushing himself up. "I'm okay now."
Mathias helped him up. "No. No, you're not."
"I thought he had days left," David told them. "Let us see."
Jefferson shook his head.
"Let us see," Mathias repeated sternly. Jefferson sighed, pulling up his shirt to reveal that his wound was much worse than it was, causing the other three to wince. "The dreamshade has almost reached your heart. It's hours now. You have to tell your family."
Jefferson shook his head. "No, not when I can still help them save Grace, Rose and Henry."
"Catch your breath, Jefferson," David told him. "Or what little time you have left will be less."
"We know you're worried about telling Freya this will send her over the deep end of the madness you two share, and believe me, we get it after seeing her nearly snap earlier, but that will end up worse when you're dead," Mathias told him.
Jefferson saw something on the ground, picking it up.
"What's that?" David asked.
"It's a military insignia," Jefferson answered. "'Jones'." He tossed it to Killian. "You know him?"
Killian nodded. "Aye, he was my captain, and my brother. We voyaged to this infernal island a long time ago. This was on the strap of his satchel. My brother lost it during a duel with Pan. Oh, it must've washed down with the rains from the storm that wrecked the Jolly Roger."
"From where?" Mathias asked.
Killian pointed to a cliff. "There."
"Deadman's Peak," Mathias stated.
Killian appeared to be thinking. "I thought it was gone forever."
"What was gone?" David asked.
Killian shook his head. "No, it's too dangerous."
"No, no, no," David told him. "What's too dangerous?"
Jefferson pushed himself up. "If you know something that can help us... don't hold back."
"If this insignia survived all these years, then perhaps my brother's satchel did as well, and inside that satchel is a sextant that can help us decode the map Pan gave to Lisa, so that even if he moves the camp again, we can know where it is and be there when it moves," Killian told them.
Jefferson nodded. "I know how I'm gonna spend my last hours. We're gonna find that thing so I can see Grace again."
"We'll have to fly if we want to make it up there and back in time," David told them.
They looked at Mathias, who smirked.

Killian and Liam were setting sail. Liam handed his brother a book.
Killian looked through the book. "Star charts. I've never seen these constellations before."
"No one has," Liam told him. "That's right, we're going to a new land, brother."
A man called. "Enemy sighted at the port quarter!"
Killian peered through his telescope to see ships sailing closer. "A frigate and two corvettes gaining fast. Master Gunner, roll out the port cannons. Stand by to bring her about! Belay that order!"
The ship barely managed to miss a hit from their enemies.
Liam chuckled. "That was close."
"We'll never outrun them," Killian told him.
"Have faith, leftenant," Liam told him. "Deploy the pegasus!"
The crew did as told, lowering a sail.
"What is that?" Killian asked.
"That is a sail woven from the last remaining feathers of the great creature Pegasus," Liam answered.
Killian frowned. "Legend has it that horse could fly."
Liam nodded. "Indeed, so can we. Hang on." Everyone held on as the ship started to fly, laughing and cheering as they made their escape. "Set a course, leftenant. Second star to the right, straight on till morning."

The boys were explaining to the girls.
"Mathias?" Tori asked.
"Don't look at me, Tori, this is all Hook," Mathias told her.
"A sextant?" Lisa asked. "You're telling us about this now?"
Regina looked at Killian suspiciously. "How do we know you're not lying?"
"If you don't believe Hook, believe us," Mathias told them. "It's the best hope yet we've had of finding Pan's camp, and don't forget, we're gonna need to find it to get Henry, Rose and Grace."
"Then what are we waiting for?" Freya asked.
"Freya..." Alcina trailed off. "You were right. We need to get that message to Rose, Grace and Henry. And every day without hope is a day closer to becoming a lost boy. Or lost girls."
"The prince, Mathias, Jefferson and I should go," Killian told them.
"Hook's right," David told them.
"Uh..." Saphira trailed off. "Wait. You wanna split up?"
"It's the last thing I wanna do, but there's a chance he can get us back to Grace, Rose and Henry," Jefferson answered.
Saphira sighed. "Okay. Fine. We'll handle everything here. Papa can handle the flying them there."
Mathias chuckled, kissing Saphira on the head, embracing both her and Tori.
Tori kissed him for the brief goodbye, smiling slightly. "You got everything handled out there, Mathias. We know you do. So you know that we got it handled here."
Mathias smiled, nodding. "Yes, you do, Tori."
David walked toward his daughters. "Ella, Emma, while I'm gone, just..."
"Listen to our mother?" Ella asked.
David chuckled. "Be careful."
Ella smiled slightly. "Always are. You be careful, too."
David embraced Emma, Ella and Snow. Snow and David shared a slow, sweet passionate kiss for the brief goodbye.
Jefferson embraced Freya and Lisa, emotional but trying to keep it in. "I love you."
"We love you too, Jefferson," Lisa told him, confused, concern. "Are you okay? You seem a little off."
Jefferson chuckled sadly. "I am fine, Lisa, and when you send that message to Grace, Henry and Rose, add something to it, would you?"
Freya nodded. "Mm-hmm."
"Tell them that I love them," Jefferson told them.
"Okay," Freya agreed. "Good luck. You sure everything is all right?"
Jefferson nodded. "Yeah, we just--I've gotta go."
Lisa nodded. "Mm. We'll see you soon."
"Well, you know, Neverland's a dangerous place, and you--you just never know what's gonna happen, so..." Jefferson trailed off.
Freya gave him a look. "Jefferson. You're gonna be fine."
Jefferson kissed Freya as if it could be for the last time in case it was, pulling away, leaning his head against hers. "I love you, Freya."
Freya managed a small smile. "I love you."
Jefferson walked toward Alcina. "Alcina."
"Jefferson," Alcina replied.
"Take care of my Grace, Cilla and Lisa for me," Jefferson told her.
Alcina looked at him in confusion, but Jefferson walked away to follow David, Mathias and Killian.

Jungle
The girls were in hiding, waiting for a lost boy to come hunting for an animal in the woods. When Devin did, Saphira released fire onto the net above him to make it fall over Devin and trap him to the ground. The other girls ran closer.
"What are you doing?" Devin asked. "Are you trying to start a war with Pan?"
"Pan started the war when he kidnapped my son and daughter," Ella told him. "And Freya and Jefferson's daughter."
Regina looked at Devin. "And my son and daughter. But that doesn't make you our enemy."
Regina conjured a chocolate bar.
Devin stood. "What's that?"
"Chocolate," Regina answered. "I thought you might like the taste of something sweet."
"We don't wanna hurt you," Emma told him. "We just need to deliver a message to Henry, Rose and Grace."
"Why should I help you?" Devin asked.
"Because you had a home and a family once," Saphira answered. "And you stopped believing you could get back to them."
"Now we're here," Snow told him. "We can help you. Not just Henry, Rose and Grace."
"All of you," Tori agreed. "We can get you home."
Alcina took the chocolate from Regina to give to Devin. "So? What do you say?"
Devin pretended that he wanted the chocolate before he threw it away. "Don't you get it? I'm here because I don't want to go home. None of us do."
"Pan's a monster," Lisa told him, nodding to a cut on his face. "Look what he did to you."
Devin chuckled. "Oh, Pan didn't do that. Grace did. That magical earthquake you felt?"
"That was Grace?" Freya asked.
"In all her glory," Devin answered. "It's the reason they call her the Illusionist. Looks the most innocent but has the most uncontrollable and destructive power."
The girls exchanged a look of shock.
ღ
Elsewhere
Killian, Mathias, Jefferson and David were making their way to the Deadman's Peak.
"How you holding up, Jefferson?" David asked.
"Don't worry about me, just worry about getting us to the sextant," Jefferson told them.
"What about the goodbyes?" Mathias asked. "Looked a bit stormy back there."
"I'm still trying to make it back to see Grace, Freya and Lisa," Jefferson told them.
"Then at least you'll get the chance to say goodbye, most people don't get that much," Killian told him.
"You lost someone, didn't you?" David asked.
Killian didn't answer, nodding to the peak. "This is where Mathias goes Dragon and flies Jefferson and David up."
"What about you?" David asked.
"Hook has a problem with flying," Mathias answered. "We'll go up ourselves. I can magic his way up."
David looked at Killian. "He was your brother, right? I had a brother, too, you know, a twin; he died before I ever met him."
"There were two of you?" Killian asked. "I can barely stomach one."
They chuckled.
"Ah, you would've liked him," David told him. "He was a thief and a liar."
"Yeah, you would've liked my brother," Killian told them. "He could be a stubborn ass."

Flashback
Neverland
Day - Island
Liam and Killian had just arrived to Neverland's beach.
"What exactly does the king hope to find on this island?" Killian asked. Liam showed him a picture. "A plant? We journeyed across the realms for a plant?"
"Our sources say it's magical," Liam told him. "Potent enough to heal any injury."
"So we never have to bury another sailor at sea again?" Killian asked.
Liam nodded. "Now you understand the importance of our mission."
They heard Peter's voice. "Are you two lost?" Killian and Liam drew their swords, turning to aim at Peter. "You look lost to me."
"Identify yourself, boy," Liam told him.
"I'm Peter Pan," Peter answered. "I live here. Who are you?"
Liam sheathed his sword. "Captain Jones, and my leftenant. We're here by order of the king."
Killian sheathed his sword.
"The king, huh?" Peter asked. "We don't have any kings in Neverland. Just me."
"That's funny," Liam told him. Peter narrowed his eyes, looking between the two. Liam showed him the sketch of the plant. "We seek this plant. Now tell us, boy, where can we find it?"
Peter took the sketch, smirking in amusement. "Your king sent you for this plant?"
"You know it?" Liam asked.
"Dreamshade," Peter answered. "It's the deadliest plant on the island. Your king is really ruthless."
"Nonsense," Liam told him.
Killian chuckled. "It's medicine."
"It's doom," Peter corrected. "Why fight a messy battle when you can kill an entire army with the sap of one plant?"
Killian turned to whisper to Liam. "Is it possible he would turn that poison upon our enemies?"
Liam gave him a look. "Don't be so gullible. This boy is playing games with us, and I'm quickly tiring of them." He took the sketch from Peter. "Now, let's keep moving."
Liam and Killian walked away.
Peter waved. "Don't say I didn't warn you."

Now
Neverland
Night - Deadman's Peak
In a swirl of fiery orange smoke, Mathias turned to Dragon form to fly Jefferson and David up to the top of the cliff.
Peter appeared next to Killian as he waited. "Mathias and Tori always did have a talent for the dramatics, and they passed it on to Saphira. I wanna talk to you alone."
Killian sighed. "What do you want?"
Peter shrugged. "To offer you a deal. Come back and work for me, like the old days."
Killian scoffed. "I don't miss the old days."
"What if I offer you something very hard to come by?" Peter asked. "Passage off the island."
Killian shook his head. "Still not interested."
"What if I were to sweeten the deal?" Peter asked. "You can take someone with you. Ella."
"Ella would never leave her children," Killian pointed out.
"Well, if she did, you could be there to pick up the pieces," Peter told him. "We've known each other a very long time, Killian. We've done business before, and I think this is the perfect time to restart that relationship."
"What if I'm not interested?" Killian asked.
"Of course you are, because that's what I've always liked about you," Peter told him. "You're good at surviving."
Killian sighed. "What do you want me to do?"
"Be in my employ," Peter answered. "Do my dirty work."
"What dirty work?" Killian asked.
"When the time comes, I'll let you know, but first, I need a signal that you've taken my deal," Peter told him.
"So my word right now wouldn't be good enough?" Killian asked.
Peter paced around him. "You know me, I like action. I know you've taken my deal when I see Jefferson's body on that peak. I wanna see you kill him before the poison. I want to see your hook inside his body. Don't worry, Mathias and the prince would believe it would have been the dreamshade that killed Jefferson."
"What if I don't take your offer?" Killian asked.
Peter whispered tauntingly. "Remember the last time you didn't listen to me?" He took out Killian's flask, handing it to him. "Have a drink. You know it always helps you think."
ღ
Deadman's Peak
Once Mathias had gotten Jefferson and David situated up on the peak, he used magic to bring Killian up to them without flying him in a swirl of fiery orange smoke. "Bloody hell. Were you talking to somebody?"
Killian shook his head. "Just talking to myself, you know it's an old habit from many nights on the lonely seas, Mathias."
"Well, I'm glad to see you're enjoying the refreshments while you do it," Mathias told him sarcastically.
"Come on," Jefferson told them. "Shouldn't be long now."

Killian and Liam approached the dreamshade.
"Well, it certainly doesn't look like medicine," Killian pointed out.
"You choose to believe that boy over our king?" Liam asked.
"That boy showed us the path to the dreamshade," Killian told him. "Why would he lie about its nature?"
Liam shrugged. "To keep it all for himself. You actually think our king would send us to retrieve something so dangerous?"
"I would hope not," Killian answered. "This is not what I signed up for."
"You signed up to listen to your king," Liam replied.
"Because I thought he was a man of honor," Killian told him.
Liam gave him a look. "He is."
Killian was still conflicted, worried. "If this is a poison, it won't just end a war. It will obliterate an entire race."
Liam walked toward his brother. "What do you know of any of this? I'm your brother and your captain. You will listen to me."
Killian shook his head. "No. I'll fight my enemies, but I'll fight fair."
Liam rolled his eyes. "Then allow me to disabuse you of that notion."
Liam used his sword to cut off a piece of the dreamshade.
Knowing what he would do, Killian tried to stop him. "No, brother, don't!"
Not listening, Liam injected the dreamshade into his arm. "See? Perfectly fine. I told you, our king would never lie to us. Now let's collect our specimens and get off this..."
Liam trailed off when he started to feel the affects of the dreamshade.
"Liam?" Killian asked.
Liam turned to face him, showing him that his deep wound in his arm was already starting to grow black veins. "Killian..."
Killian ran closer worriedly. "Your arm!"
Killian caught Liam as he fell, lowering him down.
"I'm sorry, brother," Liam told him.
Killian was horrified, in denial. "No. No! No!"

Night - Island
The girls were still questioning Devin, while Freya gripped him by the throat, clearly getting more overwhelmed and effected by madness the closer Jefferson was getting to dying.
"It's too late," Devin told them. "Henry is a lost boy now. Rose and Grace are lost girls. Your kids are some of the most vicious new recruits we have had in ages."
Freya nearly hurt Devin.
Alcina pulled Freya away to calm her down, trying to get through to her. "Cilla. Cilla, hey. Don't let him get to you. Okay?"
Regina walked toward Devin. "Move aside."
"Why?" Emma asked.
"So I can rip his heart out," Regina answered. "Then he'll do exactly what we want."
"No," Ella told her.
"This is not how we do things," Lisa agreed.
"What do you suggest, then?" Saphira asked.
The girls all exchanged a look.
"Tori and Saphira," Alcina answered. "They're psychic Sirens. They can control him with their song."
"No ripping out of organs needed," Tori agreed. "All we have to do is sing."
"It's still wrong," Snow told them.
"Really?" Regina asked. "And what do you think, Ella? Or you, Emma?"
"I think we need to talk to our kids," Ella answered.
"And Tori and Saphira singing is a lot easier than heart control,' Emma agreed. "Less brutal."
Snow shook her head. "We can't do this."
"I know," Freya told them. "But Tori and Saphira can."
Snow gave her a look. "Freya."
"Tori?" Ella asked. "Saphira? Do it."
Saphira nodded. "You got it."
"Tori..." Lisa trailed off. "Saphira..."
Tori and Saphira started to sing to control Devin.
ღღ
The girls were talking.
Emma sighed. "Lisa? Mary Margaret? I'm sorry."
"You don't have to apologize to me," Snow told them. "It's Henry, Rose and Grace I'm worried about."
"I know," Alcina told them. "That's why we have to let Tori and Saphira do whatever it takes."
"When we finally get to them, the line is still gonna be there," Saphira told them.
"What line?" Regina asked.
"Between what we will do and what we won't do," Saphira answered. "We're willing to do whatever it takes to get them home."
"And Tori and Saphira singing to control him is better than ripping out his heart," Ella told them. "You all know that. Let's not back down now."
"Second thoughts?" Tori asked.
Lisa sighed. "Let's get them that message."
"Oh, we're gonna do more than that," Freya told them. "We're gonna see them."
They all looked at Freya in confusion.

Deadman's Peak
The boys were looking for the sextant, having to pass the dreamshade to do it.
David looked at Jefferson. "Since you're already dying from that stuff, you won't mind if we stand back while you..."
Jefferson used a blade to cut the dreamshade away to make room for them. "Yeah."
Mathias looked at Killian. "I know about your deal with Pan."
"You heard that then?" Killian asked.
"Yeah," Mathias answered. "I heard that. Dragon hearing."
"Then you know I didn't agree," Killian told them.
"Yeah, Mathias said you also didn't disagree," Jefferson replied.
"Don't you see, this is what he wanted, to turn us against each other," Killian told him.
David pointed his sword at Killian. "Well, it worked. Now take us to that sextant."
Killian sighed. "My brother didn't lose his satchel up here, I made that up."
"What about the insignia?" Jefferson asked.
"I dropped it on the path so you'd find it," Killian answered.
"Why?" Jefferson asked.
"Because I knew you'd never make the journey here if I told you the truth," Killian answered.
"The truth?" David repeated. "The truth that you brought us here to kill us?"
"I brought you here so we could save Jefferson's life," Killian answered.
"You're a liar," David told him.
"Now he may be a liar," Mathias agreed. "But he's not lying about this. I know him. And he knows Freya's state of mind is on the line. And if there's one thing proven, that he's never been willing to let Freya die or suffer because of him unless it came to killing her father which he gave up on. Because of Milah."

Day - Deadman's Peak
Killian was trying to wake up his brother desperately. "No, Liam! Hey, hey, let's get you back to the ship, come on. Come on."
Peter appeared nearby. "I tried to warn you. He'll die as soon as the poison reaches his heart."
"Please, he's my brother, he's all I have left," Killian told him.
"Well, maybe you shouldn't have goaded him into it," Peter told him.
Killian shook his head worriedly. "He's so stubborn. I didn't mean to. Can you help me?"
Peter sighed. "Well, I might not feel like it, but today's your lucky day. There is a way to stop him from dying."
Killian stood. "Tell me."
Peter used magic to move apart the dreamshade and reveal a stream of water behind it. "This spring, these waters are rich with the power of Neverland. It's what keeps this land and all of us on it so... young. If one was to drink directly from it, it powers could cure any ill."
Killian nodded gratefully. "Thank you."
Killian walked toward the water.
Peter grabbed his shoulder to stop him. "But I must warn you. All magic comes with a price, and that spring is no exception. Don't leave the island unless you're willing to pay it."
Killian took out a cup. "Of course, whatever you want, it's yours." He went to get the water, pouring some into Liam's mouth to cure him. "Brother? Brother."
Liam woke up. "That's captain to you." They laughed, as Killian helped Liam sit up. "What happened?"
Killian sighed in relief. "It doesn't matter. Now let's pay the boy."
Liam noticed his wound had healed. "How..."
Killian looked around. "Boy, what do you want?" They noticed Peter had disappeared. "Boy?"

Night - Pan's Camp
Henry was using a stick to draw a house into the dirt. Grace and Rose sat nearby him.
"You thinking of what Pan was teasing you about?" Rose asked sarcastically.
Grace smirked, speaking in a singsong voice. "Henry has a crush on Lisa."
Henry blushed, not happy about being teased. "Rose. Grace." They looked at him smugly. "Shut up."
Rose and Grace smiled. Devin approached them.
"We don't want to fight again," Rose told him. "Okay?"
"I didn't come to fight," Devin told them. "I came to deliver a message." He led the three kids away from the others. "Your family is here."
Grace's hope was visibly renewed after the second she heard that. "What?"
Elsewhere, Tori and Saphira were with the girls, using their Siren Song to control Devin. "They're on the island trying to find you."
"Are you making this up?" Henry asked. "Because Grace hurt you in the earthquake she made?"
"Are you trying to get back at us?" Rose asked.
Tori and Saphira continued to control Devin. "I'm not making it up."
Devin handed a pocket mirror to Grace. "Look."
Through the mirror, Henry, Rose and Grace could see the girls looking at them.
"Henry?" Regina asked. "Rose?"
"Grace?" Lisa asked. "Are you okay?"
"Kids?" Ella asked. "Can you hear us?"
Henry and Rose spoke together in surprise upon seeing both Ella and Regina. "Mom?"
Grace smiled happily with tears in her eyes. "Mama? Lisa?"
"We're all here, guys," Alcina answered. "You got your grandmother here. Aunt Ally. Aunt Emma. Aunt Freya. You got Lisa."
"Ella, Mary Margaret, Tori and Saphira are here, too," Emma added. "David, Mathias, Jefferson and Hook went to get something to help us find you."
Grace looked around. "Is this a trick?"
"No," Freya answered. "No. No. Grace. It's not a trick."
"Henry?" Ella asked. "Rose? This is real. I promise."
"It's Operation Rescue," Lisa told them. "Henry? Rose? Grace? It's us."
"Y--you're here?" Henry asked.
"Yes," Regina answered. "We're coming to get you."
Rose looked around. "There's someone coming."
"What?" Tori and Saphira asked.
Grace looked behind them worriedly. "It's Pan."
"We gotta go," Henry told them.
The girls spoke together worriedly, either saying "Henry, Rose, Grace", or all three names.
"I'm sorry," Rose told them. "We gotta go."
"We love you," Grace told them. "We know you're coming."
The girls spoke together in reply, "We love you."
Henry, Rose and Grace had to get rid of the mirror before Pan caught them. The girls were relieved to have gotten the message through, near tears.

Neverland
Day - Skies
Killian and Liam were starting to fly their ship away.
"How are you feeling?" Killian asked.
Liam fixed his tie. "Shipshape. Killian, I should've listened to you."
Killian sighed. "I'm just glad you survived. What now, brother?"
Liam walked toward his desk. "We reveal our king's cowardice."
"Well, let's hope the realm sides with us," Killian told him.
Liam pulled on his jacket. "Oh, they will. To fight battles using unholy weapons is, as you say, bad form."
Killian chuckled. "Aye. I will follow you to the ends of the earth, brother." Once they were outside of Neverland, they landed in the water. "What do you say, Liam? Do you want some company when you report to the admiralty?" Killian turned to face Liam, seeing that since he was outside of Neverland, he was barely staying alive, running to his side. "Liam? No! N--no! Liam! Liam. Liam!" He held his brother in his arms as he died, starting to cry. "No, no, no, no! No, no, no! Help! Help! Liam..."

Night - Deadman's Peak
Once Killian had told Mathias what he needed to do, Jefferson had passed out on the ground.
Mathias was trying to wake him up. "Jefferson? Jefferson!" He sighed worriedly. "Bloody hell. This better work."
Mathias used his Dragon power to hurl a breath of fire at the dreamshade to burn it all away, revealing the stream behind it, getting some water, bringing it over to Jefferson.
Jefferson woke up, gasping, coughing. "What the hell is going on? Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa."
"Look, in that canteen is the water that will stop the dreamshade," David explained. "That will save your life."
Jefferson looked at Killian. "That's why you brought us up here?"
"Yes," Killian answered.
"You knew that I wouldn't come on my own," Jefferson told him. "That I wouldn't leave my family."
"That you were stubborn, yes, we all gathered that rather quickly," David answered. "You would have to be that stubborn to have been with a woman as stubborn as Freya for so long."
Jefferson sighed. "Watch it. Well, give it to me."
"There's something you need to know first," Killian warned. "Because its power comes from the island, once you drink this water, you can never leave Neverland."
Jefferson considered this for a moment. "It's a small price to pay for what I get in return, the chance to save my Grace and my nephew and niece, and help Freya, Grace and Lisa get home."
"What about the shared madness you share with Freya?" David asked. "You said that if you died, all of the madness would go to her, and if you were separated like you have been in the past, that the madness could consume both of you."
"Cilla and I've been able to control it," Jefferson told them. "We'll have to figure out a way to do it again."
Jefferson chugged the water, relieved that it healed him instantly, laughing lightly.
"Is that laugh from the madness?" Mathias asked.
"Probably," Jefferson answered.
They sighed in relief, ready to go back.

Camp
The girls returned to their camp.
"You think they're okay?" Snow asked.
"They're fine," Saphira told them.
"You know this how?" Regina asked.
"Because they're descended from the Stiltskins/Hatters/Savior and Protector, and two were raised by the Evil Queen," Tori answered. "They're survivors. Now they have something to survive for."
"They know we're coming," Saphira agreed. "We're not gonna let them down."
Snow sighed. "I'm sorry I doubted you. I'm just... I know how easy it is to give into the darkness. I didn't want you to--"
"We didn't," Emma told her. "Tori and Saphira did."
"Thanks, Emma," Saphira told her sarcastically.
"And what Tori and Saphira did is better than almost everything I've done," Regina told them.
Tori nodded. "Yeah. Thanks."
Ella shrugged. "That's what we're here for."
Alcina chuckled. "One big, happy family."
Lisa smiled. "I guess so."
They heard people coming. Ella and Emma drew their swords, Snow aimed her bow and arrow, Regina, Alcina, Freya, Lisa, Saphira and Tori prepared to use magic if they had to. David, Jefferson, Mathias and Killian walked into camp.
"Oh," Emma said. "It's just them. So we can stand now."
The girls put their weapons down/or let their power fade. Jefferson walked over to Freya instantly to kiss her passionately, lifting her in his arms much to her surprise but happiness, spinning her around. Freya chuckled against his lips, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Uh..." Snow trailed off. "Where's the sextant?"
David sighed. "I'm afraid Pan got to it first."
After their kiss broke, Freya looked at Jefferson in amused confusion. "I'm not complaining. But what was that..."
Jefferson kissed her again. The others looked away.
Saphira sighed. "Okay. I'm complaining."
Regina rolled her eyes. "What I wouldn't give for another sleeping curse."
Jefferson knelt next to Lisa to embrace her.
Lisa was surprised, but returned the hug. "Jefferson? What's going on?"
Jefferson stood. "Hook, he saved my life."
"Are you sure you wanna tell them that, Jefferson?" Mathias asked, looking at Freya significantly, since they knew what would happen with them being separated again, also knowing the possibility of Freya losing it before being separated from him if she found out the wrong way.
David looked at the girls. "On our trek, we were ambushed by lost boys, pinned down, outnumbered, but Hook, he risked his life to stop Jefferson from being hit by a poisoned arrow."
Jefferson knew he needed to tell the truth soon but couldn't do it until he saw Grace again. "If it wasn't for Hook, I wouldn't be alive. Your flask, please." Killian handed the flask to Jefferson, who raised it in toast. "I thought you deserved a little credit."
Killian nodded. "Thank you."
Jefferson took a drink, handing the flask to Freya.
Freya raised the flask, smiling. "To Hook. If you think saving Jefferson makes up for trying to kill my father, you'd be halfway right."
Killian chuckled. Freya took a drink, handing the flask to Alcina.
Alcina shrugged. "Why not? Hook saved my brother in law. Who I am getting more along with by the day. So it'd be a shame to lose Jefferson so soon after finally getting along like brother and sister."
Jefferson looked down. Alcina took a drink, holding the flask toward Regina.
Regina shook her head. "I don't do rum."
Saphira, Tori and Mathias sighed, shrugging, each taking a drink. "To Hook."
"Guess this means we'll have to seriously think about your redemption for Belle," Tori told him. "You know. If you keep this up."
Killian smirked smugly. "I knew it."
"Don't get too cocky," Saphira replied. "I can and will still burn you. But not kill you."
"And I could still sing until you shoot yourself in the face," Tori added. "But I guess that I won't. I'll have you aim for the shoulder. How's that?"
"That's better," Saphira answered. "We can still do those things. But we won't."
Mathias chuckled. Killian smiled.
Lisa smiled. "You know Tori and Saphira aren't being serious. Just being stubborn about forgiving you." Killian nodded, smiling slightly. "To Hook. I don't drink. But same deal."
They chuckled.
Snow, Ella and Emma shrugged as they took a drink. "To Hook."
While everyone else walked away, Ella stayed with Killian. "You really save Jefferson's life?"
"That surprise you?" Killian asked.
"Well, you and Jefferson aren't exactly..." Ella trailed off. "How do you, Mathias, Tori and Saphira say it?" She imitated their accents. "Mates."
Killian smirked in amusement. "Doesn't mean I'd leave Jefferson to perish on this island."
"For Freya, you mean?" Ella asked. "Saving Jefferson to help Freya because she's Milah's daughter? And Jefferson being her son in law? And to make up for shooting Belle and making her lose her memory? So you get the friendships of Tori, Saphira and Mathias back?"
"To make up for it, yes," Killian answered. "I don't expect to be welcomed as their friend again."
Ella was impressed. "I was wrong about you. You're not just a pirate, Hook. Though you do pretend to be. There's a whole other man behind that steal door of yours. Don't feel bad. I have armor of my own. You wouldn't be able to handle the demons behind my armor."
Killian chuckled. "You wouldn't be able to handle mine, either, Ella." After a long, intense moment of looking at each other, Ella pulled Killian into a kiss, which quickly became heated and very passionate. They continued to kiss for a few moments. Ella pulled away, resting her forehead against his, clinging to the lapels of his jacket. Killian was breathless, stunned. "That was, um..."
Ella sighed deeply. "Intense."
Ella backed away, a little surprised by what she just did, turning around to walk away, smiling slightly. Killian watched her go, touching his lips, turning way, thinking, chuckling lightly.

Enchanted Forest
Day - Sea
Killian was giving Liam a burial at sea.
A man handed Liam's satchel to Killian. "This belongs to you now, captain."
Killian took it, holding it close to his chest. "You'll never leave my side, brother. We are sworn to serve the king and the realm." He handed the satchel to a man, taking a torch. "They sent us to retrieve an unthinkable poison, one that killed our dear captain. Never again shall anyone ever again set sail to that cursed land." He used his torch to burn the sail that made the ship fly. "And never again shall we take such orders serving the king, fighting his wars." The crew made noises of agreement. "That is the way of dishonor. And all of you who disagree, flee now, or walk to bloody plank. For those who stay, will be free men and I will be your captain. We will surrender the crimson flag and we'll give our enemies no quarter. We'll take what we please, and we'll live by our own rules, and that is the best form of all. Our kingdom is corrupt and immoral. They took my brother from me, and now I'm gonna take everything they've got, starting with this ship." The crew cheered. "Bring the paint from below. It's time we rename this vessel. We no longer sail as 'The Jewel of the Realm'. We now sail as the 'Jolly Roger'." Killian took off his jacket, throwing it into the sea. "And when they come for us, I want them to know exactly what we are. Pirates! For at least among thieves, there is honor!"
"Long live Captain Jones!" a man told them.
They all started to chant "Captain Jones".

Neverland
Night - Jungle
Killian was sitting alone, drinking.
Peter appeared. "You really should've taken my deal."
Killian smirked. "It doesn't look like I need your help with Ella after all, mate."
"What, you think that kiss actually meant something?" Peter asked.
"I do," Killian answered. "I think it means she's finally starting to see me for the man I am."
Peter scoffed. "What, a one-handed pirate with a drinking problem? I'm no grownup, but I'm pretty sure that's less than appealing."
Killian rolled his eyes. "A man of honor."
Peter nodded. "So tell me, what would a man of honor like yourself do with a big, fat secret?"
"Well, that depends what the secret is," Killian told him.
"Baelfire," Peter answered. "Neal. Whatever name he goes by these days. Much like Priscilla or Freya. The brother to Cilla and Alcina/Ally, brother in law to Jefferson, uncle to Grace, father to Henry and Rose, Ella's ex. The boy Mathias, Saphira and Tori raised."
"What of him?" Killian asked. "He's dead."
"No, I'm afraid not," Peter answered. "He's alive, and that's not even the best part. He's in Neverland."
Killian was cautious to believe him. "Is he?"
"Oh, yes," Peter answered. "Can you believe it? I'm sure Priscilla and Alcina would love to know that their brother/Jefferson's brother in law is alive, that Tori, Saphira and Mathias would be excited to hear the boy they took care of for so long is well. That Ella would be thrilled to know that Henry and Rose's father/Grace's uncle is still alive, but I'd hate for that to get in the way of a budding romance, so I'll leave it up to you, to tell them or not. Let's see what kind of man you really are."

Elsewhere
The lost boys were putting Neal's cage into a hole.
Peter arrived. "How's our guest?"
"We drugged him," Felix answered. "He'll be asleep for a while. Where do you want him?"
Peter nodded behind him. "Hang him up, over there. Next to the other one."
The lost boys went to do as told, hanging Neal's wooden cage next to another wooden cage.
