chapter 14 - Devil's Due
From 5.12 "Souls of the Departed", in Freya's dream, Freya and Neal were sitting on the couch.
Freya/Priscilla: (voice over) "Previously on Worlds Colliding (Once Upon a Time)."
"Where are you?" Freya asked.
"Someplace where I'm happy," Neal answered. "And if you see our mother down there, tell her I'm fine."
"Mama's down there?" Freya asked.
Neal nodded.
From 5.13 "Labor of Love", in the Hatter House, Derek looked at Christopher. "And Jefferson?"
"Where is he?" Alcina asked.
"In an underground prison," Christopher answered.
From 5.12 "Souls of the Departed", in Pan's pawnshop, Freya, Lisa, Grace and Gold faced Peter.
"Some of those people you came down with, some you just met, and some are not your friends, and they are living, for now," Peter told them. "Maybe one of them doesn't make the trip back, but I do."
"Not interested," Lisa told him.
Peter held out the potion to Freya. "A gesture of goodwill, from a man to his family. Maybe even helping reunite it with a missing member."
From 5.13 "Labor of Love", in Hades' lair, Hades looked at Jefferson. "Do you know why I had kept Christopher here?"
"Because he's your family, and because he's Lisa and Blake's father," Jefferson answered.
"You are here for many reasons, Jefferson," Hades told him. "For your own family, and for mine. Which is why I'm not planning on letting you go."
From 5.13 "Labor of Love", in the Underworld tunnels, Hades held up Jefferson's bloody wedding ring, trying to get a reaction out of her that was even worse than before. Freya was incredibly worried and horrified when she saw all the blood, very angry. Alcina kept hold of Freya's hand to keep her back so Hades couldn't make her lash out. Grace used her power against Hades, making him back away from the force of her power.
Hades: (voice over from 5.13 Labor of Love) "Priscilla, Grace, Rose, Rumplestiltskin and Alcina are just the tip of the iceberg."
From 5.12 "Souls of the Departed", in the cemetery, during the spell, Jefferson appeared, flashing in and out, battered, bruised, bloody and burnt, tortured, causing everyone to be in worried shock and horror, disappearing into the ground. Freya fell to her knees in an attempt to follow him, devastated, horrified and worried. Everyone was in pain to see her like this, so broken and defeated, completely filled with devastation and madness.
Hades: (voice over from 5.13 Labor of Love) "I guess that reaction was entirely my fault for playing on your madness."
From 5.13 "Labor of Love", in Hades' lair, Hades forced Jefferson to take the chiseling tool, conjuring headstones. "For every soul your family and friends free, one of them is going to have to stay. And, Jefferson, you get to decide who."

Underworld
Hades' Lair
Jefferson was still sitting on the ground.
Hades was waiting for him to choose, sighing. "Oh, come on. All you need to do is choose who of your friends to stay here. Carve their name. What's the problem? Is it the chisel? So unwieldy for the Mad Hatter. Or writer's block?"
Jefferson threw the chisel on the ground. "I'm not doing it."
Hades walked closer. "I must say, I'm not angry. I'm disappointed." He leaned down. "And on second thought, I'm angry. I guess it's off to solitary." He grabbed Jefferson by the hair, dragging him to his feet, leading him down a walkway. "You know, I gotta admire the fact that you're not as easily manipulated by madness when it's all in Freya's head. But you should have seen the way I was preying on her madness ever since she got here. Letting her see a vision of you all tortured, but not letting her speak to you, pulling you back, and then showing her your bloody wedding ring. How devastated and broken she's become from all the madness inside her head on top of everything else that happened to the two of you because of your insanity, your family, being the Dark Ones as the darkness was shattering your minds... it was so fun to mess with your wife's head like that."
Jefferson angrily pushed him off of him, toward the edge of the balcony they were standing on. "Leave her alone."
Hades laughed mockingly. "Wow. How angry and protective you get over each other is hilarious. It's honestly adorable. Truly married goals. But trust me when I tell you this, Jefferson. Priscilla may not be completely broken yet, but she will be soon, if I have any say in it."
"Well, you don't have any say in it," Jefferson told him.
Hades chuckled in amusement. "That's ironic, because I actually have all the say in it. She's mine to break, or to keep, just like you and the rest of your family. Like Grace, Rose, Alcina. And since Freya is the other Hatter parent that has been taking care of Lisa and Blake, I'm happy to break her to break my family. You'll see." He led Jefferson to the River of Lost Souls, where a boat was waiting. "Now listen carefully. This is the River of Lost Souls. Touch it and it will make you lost. Reducing you to a mindless, tormented husk, so please, keep all arms and hands inside the boat."

Pan's Pawnshop
Gold walked in. "Father?"
Gold closed the door, walking further into the shop, only to discover a piece of parchment with a note written on it, which he picked up to read.
Peter: (voice over) "My son, this shop is yours to do with as you wish, for Priscilla, Grace, Alcina or anyone else to help find Jefferson. My offer still stands. Use what's in the case when you want to accept it, and we can be a family again. Your father.'"
Gold picked up Peter's old flute, examining it, locking the door, walking over to a brewing substance in a black pot, opening a jar which contained fluid and an eyeball, pouring the fluid away, walking over to the bubbling potion, dropping part of the pan in, followed by the eyeball, and the turned to pick up a glass ball, holding it over the potion. "Show me... show me who I seek." The glass ball revealed Belle having lunch with Robin, as they were watching Alcina and Robin's twins, and Derek and Faye's baby. In shock, Gold dropped the ball, making it shatter, kneeling to the floor, trying to gather the smashed glass. "Oh, Belle. Oh, Belle."

Hatter House - Upstairs
Blake, Lisa and Christopher were in one of the rooms.
Christopher was all healed now, trying to find something to wear. "This is pointless. There is nothing here that I like."
Christopher turned to face his children.
"Well, we can fix that," Lisa told him.
"You bet we can," Blake agreed. Lisa and Blake used magic at the same time; Blake used his to conjure a full black outfit appear, while Lisa conjured a full white outfit. They exchanged a look. "Oh, no."
Lisa nodded. "Oh, yes. Papa is wearing this because I want us to match."
"Well, I want us to match, too," Blake told her.
Christopher was amused by their bickering, sighing. "Blake. Lisa."
They didn't hear him, continuing to bicker.
Lisa smirked. "Well, I said it first."
"Well, we just found each other," Blake replied, pointing from himself to Christopher.
"And me and him just reunited for the first time since he was killed when I was barely a kid," Lisa pointed out.
Christopher spoke from a whisper to a small toned voice, which they still didn't hear while bickering. "Lisa. Blake."
Blake scoffed. "Well, I miss him more."
Lisa shook her head. "No, I miss him more."
Christopher was looking between them, smiling at seeing them fight like siblings for the first time, clearing his throat, speaking loudly to get their attention. "Blake. Lisa." They looked at him. "Let's not play the 'who miss me more' because, let's be honest, I'm amazing, so you both missed me."
Blake smiled in awe, since Christopher had sounded just like Blake sounded like all the time.
Lisa smirked goodnaturedly, rolling her eyes teasingly. "Great, so you get your overprotetctiveness and your ego both from Papa."
They looked at each other, laughing a little. Christopher ruffled Blake's hair. Lisa smiled, loving seeing them bond already.
"Now, no more arguing, okay?" Christopher asked.
"Sorry," Blake told him.
"Thank you," Christopher told them. They laughed a little at their first family banter. "Now, when I was in the Enchanted Forest, or Arendelle, I used to wear both black and white, so why don't we find something like that here, okay?"
Blake got an idea, looking at Lisa, smirking. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
Lisa nodded, smiling. They both waved their hands, making Christopher be covered by a combination of Blake's black smoke, and Lisa's white smoke and lights in a beautiful mixture of a cloud. When the cloud faded, Christopher was now dressed in the perfect combination of black edgier clothes and sweet white clothes.
Lisa smiled. "Now you're perfect."
Christopher looked at himself in the mirror, nodding. "Yeah, I like it."
"Now we just need a cool name, and we're done," Blake told them.
"What for?" Lisa asked.
"Us three," Blake answered. "I mean, with Uncle Herc, we're the celestials, since that's our family name, but now we also need a name for the three of us. I mean, me and Lisa are the Divine Pair, and our powers come from you, Papa."
Lisa looked at Christopher. "Blake has a thing for naming stuff."
Christopher chuckled. "Well, in that case, how about the Divine Trinity?"
Blake smirked. "Yeah, I like it."
Lisa made a wave of her hand. "The Divine Trinity. Perfect. It even sounds badass."
"Well, we are all badass," Blake told her.
They all laughed.
Christopher smiled. "Come here." He pulled his kids in for a hug. "Lisa. Blake. I love you."
Lisa and Blake held him tightly in return. "We love you, Papa."

Living Room
The group, besides Lisa, Blake and Christopher, were downstairs, examining the damage left behind by Cerberus. Because of Gold's spell to help control the madness inside her head, Freya was out of it, dizzy, disoriented, dazed. Grace was sitting next to Freya, brushing back her hair with her fingertips to try and be there for her mother.
Alcina walked closer with water to hand to Freya. "Cilla?"
Freya looked up and took it without really realizing what she was doing, drinking, still out of it. Alcina and Grace were concerned by this, exchanging a worried look with the others.
Saphira was holding one of Derek's arrows. "Found more arrows, Derek."
Derek sighed, walking closer. "You do not want to see what that hell dog did upstairs, Saphira."
Lisa, Blake and Christopher walked downstairs.
"So we think we're ready?" Emma asked.
Gold walked in. "What are you doing?"
"We're gonna get Jefferson," Ella answered. "What's it look like?"
"We know Hades will have him in some sort of isolation," David explained. "Christopher told us there's an entrance nearby."
"Christopher?" Gold repeated, turning to see the three Divines behind him. "Oh, that one. Hello again."
Christopher rolled his eyes. "Rumplestiltskin. Was certainly hoping to never see you again."
"You know the crocodile?" Killian asked.
"Yep," Christopher answered. "He's the one that erased my memory of Ingrid and Blake in the first place. So that I would find another wife who also died, and raise Lisa with us. Before I died and I got my memories back after my death."
Faye looked between the group skeptically. "So all 45 of us are gonna slip down into the deepest level of detention in the Underworld? I know 45 is a huge exaggeration. But still."
"Faye's right," Saphira told them. "Hades knows we're here."
"Thank you, Sister Saphira," Faye told her.
"He'll have put up barriers to keep the living out of all the places he doesn't want us going," Tori told them. "You walk into his domain? You'll all be puffs of dust."
"That's why Christopher is here," Mathias told them. "He's dead. He can help us get to where we need to go."
"I believe we'll need one more dead person to get us to where we need to go," Gold told them. "I know just the person. Most of you, occupy yourselves as you will. Perhaps cleaning?" He looked at Freya, Grace, Alcina, Lisa, Blake and Christopher. "We will go with the assistance of another helpful dead person."
"I can extend the aura of Christopher and whoever Gold has in mind," Cyrus explained. "So that the living souls with them can get through Hades' barrier."
Axel looked at Gold in confusion. "Wait a minute. Yesterday, you hid in your shop because you knew if you were around Freya too much, she could go completely mad. Today, you're gonna lead the charge to find the son in law who is dead because of you?"
"Yeah, because I realized that if I don't step in, we are never gonna get home, and I want very much to get home to my wife, and hopefully to find that said son in law to make up for what I've done," Gold told them, looking at Freya significantly.
Freya sighed.
"Okay," Emma told them. "So you guys are going. Christopher's happy to help. But how are you gonna get another helpful dead person to loan their aura so you can confront the god of the Underworld himself?"
Ella looked at Gold in confusion. "You said you had that covered. That you have someone in mind."
Gold nodded, looking at Freya. "Someone we've known a long time."
Freya realized who he was talking about, in shock, while the others were confused.

Enchanted Forest
Day - Stiltskin Cottage - Outside
Milah was crying an armful of sticks, whilst Rumple followed behind her, limping. Young Priscilla and Baelfire, younger than they were in flashbacks before, where Priscilla looked about five, and Baelfire looked nine, both siblings carrying nets to catch frogs and butterflies.
Rumple walked toward his wife. "Milah. Milah! You don't have to be doing this yourself. I said I would help."
Milah nodded. "You said that, and somehow, it still doesn't get done."
"Well, I was chasing dragonflies with our children," Rumplestiltskin explained.
Baelfire noticed that Young Priscilla had snuck off, looking around for her. "Cilla?" He walked off to look for his sister. "Cilla."
Milah looked at Rumple. "Did they protect you from the big ones?"
Baelfire found Young Priscilla nearby two snakes, running closer. "Cilla, no."
Young Priscilla looked up, confused. "Bae?"
Baelfire started to lead his five year old sister away. "Come on."
Rumplestiltskin looked at Milah. "I know my leg slows me down around here, but I--I can do better. I can change."
Milah shook her head. "You're never going to change, Rumple."
"I can," Rumplestiltskin told her. "I can be whatever you want me to be."
Young Priscilla and Baelfire heard their parents arguing, looking toward them, not realizing that the snakes following them were posed in a threatening manner, ready to bite.
Milah looked at Rumple. "Just go play with the children. That's one thing you can do, at least."
They heard Baelfire and Young Priscilla scream in the distance.
"Bae?" Rumplestiltskin asked worriedly. "Cilla!"
Forgetting their fight once they heard their children in distress instantly, Rumple and Milah worriedly ran around the bush to see both their children on the ground in pain, kneeling next to them, rolling them over.
"Bae?" Milah asked. "Cilla? What's wrong? What's wrong?"
Milah heard the snakes hissing, using two rocks to kill them. Rumple examined the snake bite wounds on Baelfire and Young Priscilla worriedly.

Street
Milah was getting ready to help kids cross the road, when her eyes landed on Gold, Freya and Grace across the street on the sidewalk waiting for her.
Gold waved. "Morning, dearie."
Milah stepped onto the road, allowing for the children to cross safely, walking toward the others. "Rumple. Who are the two girls?"
Freya was very nervous to see her mother after everything. "Hello, Mother."
Milah looked at her in shock and realization, relief. "Priscilla? Why--why are you here?"
"Don't worry, we're not dead," Grace told her. "Just visiting."
"And you are..." Milah trailed off.
"This is my daughter, Grace," Freya answered. "Your granddaughter, or one of them at least. You have a grandson, Henry, and another granddaughter, Rose, who are Bae's kids, my niece and nephew, and Grace's cousins, obviously."
Milah was even more stunned. "How'd you find me?"
"You are standing in the middle of Main Street, so, you know..." Grace trailed off.
Gold chuckled. "I must say, I do love the irony of your job. You watching children, keeping them safe, keeping them close."
"Like you have any room to talk anymore, Grandpa," Grace replied.
Gold tilted his head in acknowledgement.
Freya ignored him, rolling her eyes, looking at Milah. "We have an opportunity for you. A chance o make up for leaving me and Bae when we were kids."
"I would love nothing more, Cilla," Milah told her. "I'm supposed to watch the kids."
"Well, they're dead, anyway," Gold told her.
"We're looking for my husband, who died recently because of Papa," Freya explained. "Jefferson."
"Jefferson?" Milah repeated. "The childhood friend to you and Bae?"
Grace nodded. "My father. He's receiving some, uh, special attention from Hades. We need to get him back."
"What do you say, Mother?" Freya asked. "You wanna make up for abandoning me and Bae when we were so young by helping me save my husband and the father of my daughter?"
Milah nodded instantly.

River of Lost Souls
Jefferson was forced to travel in the boat, looking up at the entrance to where he was being sent. Inside, he was being chained up over a pool, which was part of the River, raised up.
Hades was walking on the platform below. "Now, I want you to think about why you're here. You tried to escape. You freed my nephew and let him reunite with our family, which also happens to be yours, since you've practically adopted Lisa and Blake as your own family. You refuse to do what I ask, and do you know the most important reason?"
Jefferson rolled his eyes, sighing. "I couldn't begin to guess."
"Freya," Hades answered. "She's the third child of Rumplestiltskin, and I want her here. Why do you think I've taken such an interest into breaking her mind down even more than it already was, Jefferson? See, I want Freya, Grace and Rumple to come for you. I'm willing to bet that Alcina, Christopher, Lisa and Blake will be coming with them. As Christopher has told you before, why you're so special to me, is because you're bait for them. You're leverage. Something that will make them come to me. And you know what sucks about all of this?"
"No, but I know you're gonna tell me," Jefferson answered. "Even though I don't give a damn."
Hades chuckled. "Hope. You and your family and friends brought contraband, hope, into my world, and that is strictly forbidden. And despite some... creative beatings, I still see hope in your eyes. Now, I would like that to be gone before you reach the water." He lowered Jefferson with his magic so Jefferson was eye-level with him. "You have interfered with my carefully cultivated existence, so... I am going to hurt you. Then I'm going to collect your family and friends and hurt them. So there's going to be no one left to save you." His hair became blue flames. "Feel free to go mad all over again, Jefferson."
Hades walked away. Even though Jefferson was beat and bleeding to hell, he refused to give up hope.

Street
Gold, Freya, Grace and Milah were walking, about to meet up with the three Divines and Alcina.
"Them?" Milah asked.
"Yes, them," Grace answered. "Come. Let us introduce you."
"Alcina," Gold told her. "Lisa. Blake. Christopher." They turned toward them, walking closer. "There's someone we'd like you to meet. This is Milah, my ex-wife. And Hook's ex, also. She's also Priscilla and Baelfire's mother, of course, mother in law to Jefferson, also making her the grandmother to Henry, Rose and Grace. Alcina is the Dark Sorceress, someone Priscilla, Jefferson and I had known for a very long time, and her sister Regina, the Evil Queen, before we realized that Alcina is actually my daughter, making her the half-sister to both Cilla and Regina and the Wicked Witch, Zelena, because of several torrid affairs from me and their mother Cora. Zelena used my help and my magic to make a daughter for herself, Faye, made out of a Dragon and Siren genes, Mathias and Tori Matthews, making her daughter Faye also the daughter to Mathias and Tori, and making her the sister to their other daughter Saphira. Tori is the half-sister to my new wife Belle, making Mathias her brother-in-law, making Tori my sister in law, and Saphira and Faye my step nieces. Not to mention Zelena cast the same spell on Faye to make her have a child like she did to create Faye in the first place, only the child was made from the DNA of Saphira's boyfriend Derek, as a punishment and a gift in the eyes of the Wicked Witch, to Faye, Saphira and Derek. Derek's brother Robin, is the over to Alcina, who both just had twins. Lisa and Blake are the two Divine Beings that Freya, Jefferson and Grace took into their family, the Light Bringer and Dark Being, and Christopher is their father. Christopher is the brother to Hercules, the son to Zeus, and the nephew to Hades, making him and his children actual celestial beings."
"Don't forget to mention the reason why I didn't get to raise Lisa and Blake with Ingrid is because you talked my ex-wife into splitting up the family, making her take Blake and erase my memories of them both, making me take Lisa, and never again to be reunited in life," Christopher told him. "And the fact that the only reason why all of you are down here is because of what you did to your family."
Milah gave Gold a look. "What did you do to them? You realize the only reason why I tried to take Cilla from you before you killed me was because I didn't want you to do anything to hurt her."
"Yeah, well, he did," Freya told her. "He hurt all of us more than any of us can handle."
"We can talk about that later, Cilla," Alcina told her. "We're gonna fix it."
Freya sighed. "Sorry, Ally."
Alcina smiled a little. "Hi, Milah. I'm sure we're gonna laugh ourselves sick about all this one day. I suggest we get moving before this gets even more awkward."

Granny's Diner
Regina, Axel, Derek and the Matthews walked in, finding a mute maid at the counter.
"Hey," Regina told her. "Where's your boss?"
The mute maid couldn't speak, trying to signal she didn't know where Hades was.
Derek sighed. "No. Not some deity. Your boss here. The Blind Witch?"
Mathias noticed Cruella trying to sneak out the back. "Never mind." They ran after Cruella, surrounding her before she could leave. "You."
Cruella sighed. "Hello, darlings. Who's the wolf?"
"My name's Axel," Axel answered. "And I know about your power to control animals. So don't even think that you could even get a chance to control me. I'm never gonna go wolf around you. So that way, you can never take control of me."
Cruella smirked. "Pity, Axel."
"Before you died, you mind controlled Mathias and Saphira, in their Dragon forms, to kill me and everybody else," Tori told her. "You're gonna do something that insures we're not gonna torment you more than death."
"You can help," Saphira told her.
"I can?" Cruella asked. "I mean, of course I can."
"Tell us about the graveyard," Saphira told her. "Axel, Regina and Alcina want to find people. Alcina's not here at the moment. But she'll be back when she can. Axel's looking for his family. Regina and Alcina are looking for other people."
"Oh, it's just a chat you want?" Cruella asked. "Well, if you're looking for someone, simply use your magic. Oh, having trouble, are we? Magic's a little tricky down here, isn't it?"
"It's easy when we need to use it in a fight because all the thought comes right out of it," Faye replied. "We're not thinking about making it work. It just works out of instinct."
"And you must be Faye," Cruella told her. "Maleficent's other granddaughter. Tori and Mathias's daughter, Saphira's sister. I heard about you having a child with Derek. Congrats."
Derek sighed. "But when they're trying to use it to find someone? It's harder than it is up there. Because they have to focus it harder down here."
"But it's easier for Cyrus, Rose and Grace to use their powers for anything," Mathias told them. "And Lisa and Blake. Because of who they are."
Tori glared at Cruella. "So. Let's sit down and be civilized."

Hatter House - Living Room
Cyrus was trying to conjure a spell.
Rose walked closer. "What are you doing?"
"Trying to conjure a spell that can allow me to see if my father is here in the Underworld," Cyrus answered. "Or if he's passed on. Rose, I might need your help for this."
Rose walked closer. "Of course. What if he's not here? What if he's moved on?"
"I hope he did, but I have to be sure," Cyrus told her.
Rose looked at him in concern, seeing how manic he was about all of this, reaching out to place a hand on his. "Cyrus. What's wrong?"
Cyrus sighed, closing his eyes. "Every time I close my eyes, I see what my mother brainwashed Freya and Jefferson to do to my mother to cast the Curse. I see what she did to me in Storybrooke the night that Freya had to kill Jefferson to try and destroy the darkness."
Rose looked at him sadly. "I'm sorry."
Cyrus looked at her for a moment, chuckling. "You know, Rose, my father used to want to sever my immortal life so that I could grow up, age, you know. So I could find love like he had found love with my mother, before she trapped us in the tree and stone."
"That was sweet," Rose told him. "I'm sorry that it ended the way it did. But, hey, you're not immortal anymore since your connection to Excalibur got severed. You are growing up like Merlin wanted you to." Cyrus nodded in agreement, gazing off. "Cyrus, what is it?"
"One of the things I couldn't stop thinking about since the night my mother attacked Storybrooke, is when she stole Excalibur from me, and she did it by pretending to be you," Cyrus answered. "She knew it would distract me, Rose, and that's when she reminded me of the reason why my father wanted to sever my immortality."
Rose was confused, before she remembered that he said the reason why was because his father wanted him to grow up and find love, and realizing why Nimue knew that pretending to be her would distract Cyrus. "Oh."
Cyrus chuckled. "Yeah. She saw us that night, Rose. She knew I liked you."
"'Liked' or... like?" Rose asked.
Cyrus tilted his head. "You know which." Rose chuckled. "And now you're laughing."
Rose smiled, shaking her head. "No, not because of that. Because... I like you, too, Cyrus."
Cyrus looked at her, a little surprised, chuckling. "You know, as a psychic, I was always used to seeing things before they happened, but that power got weakened when my connection broke from Excalibur. But I've never been able to see the future concerning you, so..."
"It's kind of a surprise?" Rose finished. Cyrus nodded. "Well, don't be too surprised. You know, my dad, before he died, he told me that real love's not supposed to be afraid of what everybody thinks, and I know that's why you waited so long to tell me, because you were nervous about what I would think, or nervous that I wouldn't like you back. But you're one of the most powerful sorcerers of all time, and I'm the Enchantress, and just because of everybody doubting us, let's show them all what we can do."
Cyrus smiled slightly, nodding. "All right. Thank you, Rose."
Rose smiled. They continued to work on the spell, exchanging looks when the other thought they weren't looking.

Freya's House - Outside
Freya, Grace, Milah, Gold and the three Divines were walking up to the house Freya was in while she was the Dark One.
"The way in is here?" Grace asked. "So, what? The gates of hell are in Mama's old house?"
Christopher nodded. "As was the stone of Excalibur. Freya has a knack for targeting real estate with hidden value."
ღ
Inside - Living Room
They walked in, seeing it was abandoned. A baby cradle was in one of the rooms, with a stuffed toy bear and tiger underneath.
Alcina sighed. "Basement door?"
Freya nodded. "Basement door."
Lisa walked up to the door, unlocking, attempting to put her hand in, but was repelled by magic, turning to face the others.
"It's a barrier, all right," Alcina told them. "So what are Milah and Chris gonna do?"
Grace showed them a spell. "Cyrus made this spell for us so we could get past. We just have to cast it so Grandma's and Chris's auras go to all of us."
Lisa, Blake and Grace cast the spell to do just that, and once they had succeeded, the auras from Milah and Christopher visibly spread to Freya, Alcina, Grace, Lisa, Blake and Gold, allowing them to pass the barrier.
ღ
Tunnels
They walked along the tunnels.
Lisa was stunned. "It worked."
"Indeed," Blake agreed. "One step closer to Hell."
Unknown to them, as they descended deeper into the underground tunnels, the basement door closed behind them.

Day - Village
Rumple and Milah hurriedly approached a man named Fendrake, who was looking at pots on a table.
"Excuse us," Rumplestiltskin told him. "Fendrake the Healer? Sorry to bother you, sir. It's our children. Oh, my, we--we--we left them at home, thinking it might be too dangerous to move them."
Milah reached into her bag, pulling out the dead snakes that bit their children. "We need the antidote to these."
Fendrake looked at the dead snakes closely. "Atlanthean rat snakes. It's a 24 hour poison. Your children will die tomorrow."
The two parents were horrified, in distress.
"No!" Rumplestiltskin told him. "No."
"Unless you're willing to use magic," Fendrake told them.
"Magic?" Rumplestiltskin repeated. "We... we'll pay anything. What magic?"
ღ
Fendrake's Hut
Milah and Rumple watched as Fendrake picked up a small vial of potion.
"There is enough potion to cure your children," Fendrake told them. "It's very rare."
"How much?" Rumplestiltskin asked.
Fendrake chuckled. "100 gold pieces."
ღ
Outside
Milah and Rumple were walking out, not looking happy, as the door was slammed behind them.
"100 gold?" Rumplestiltskin asked. "We won't see that in our lives."
Milah shook her head in agreement. "No, but we'll get our cure anyway."
"How?" Rumplestiltskin asked.
"You'll go back and take it," Milah answered.
"Take it?" Rumplestiltskin repeated. "He'd kill me for sure."
Milah gave him a look. "Oh, now, there's a puzzle you'll have to figure out. He can't kill you if you get him first."
Milah walked away.

The group was walking along.
Alcina looked at Milah. "The spell's gone. We'll be able to pass through on our own now. Thank you, Milah. You can run back to protecting the dead children."
"Actually, Ally, I was hoping that she could stay for Cilla," Gold told her.
"You were?" Alcina asked in surprise.
"Yes," Gold answered. He looked at Freya. "One of your main sources of anger and madness when you were the Dark One was that I killed your mother in front of you. If I'm not the parent that can help you with your mind now, maybe Milah is."
Freya looked at him in surprise, her anger softening slightly. "Thank you." Gold nodded. Freya looked between Gold, Grace, Alcina and Milah. "There's something you should know. Bae. When we were on our way down here on the River, I had sort of a vision of him. I think he talked to me."
Gold, Grace, Alcina and Milah looked at her in surprise, hopeful but weary.
"And you're sure it wasn't the madness?" Alcina asked.
Freya shook her head, sighing.
"Well, what did Uncle Bae say?" Grace asked.
"He said that he moved on, and that he was happy," Freya answered. "Whatever he had to resolve, he did it. Mama, he told me to tell you that he was okay."
Milah smiled in relief to hear this. "Thank you. Thank you so much for telling me this. Cilla, all I wanted down here was for you and Bae to be happy. To be okay. I needed to know that you were both okay."
Freya nodded. The three Divines smiled slightly at seeing them like this, leading the way along.
"I hear water this way," Lisa told them.
"That would be the River of Lost Souls," Christopher explained. "We can take it to where Hades will have Jefferson."
Milah turned to Freya and Grace. "Let me come with you. Cilla, I wanna help you. Help Grace. Help you get Jefferson back. I may have left my family, and I regretted that every day I was alive and every day I was dead. I may have walked out on my family, but I can help make up for that by reuniting yours."
Freya smiled slightly to hear this. Milah smiled, placing a hand on her cheek, taking Grace's hand, who was smiling slightly.
Alcina smiled at this, chuckling. "Okay. Let's go."
"I call shotgun on the boat," Blake told them.
Christopher frowned in confusion. "What?"
Grace chuckled. "It's complicated."
Lisa sighed, nodding. "Let's go."
They headed to the boat to take it across the River and try and get Jefferson.

Granny's Diner
Regina, Axel, Derek and the Matthews were talking to Cruella.
"I see you're admiring my fur," Cruella told them. "Doe skin, of all things. I'm not saying it's Bambi's iconic dead mother, and I'm not saying it's not. I'm also not saying that I wouldn't love to have a coat made of wolf's fur, like Axel here."
Axel smirked sarcastically. "Go ahead. Try it. See what happens. If you touch me, you're gonna see what a wolf can really do without having to go full wolf."
Tori gave him a look. "Axel."
"Why not let Axel take this bitch down, Mama Tori?" Faye asked. "It would be really interesting to see."
Tori gave her a look. "Faye."
Faye sighed. "Fine."
Derek looked at Cruella. "Just tell us about he graveyard. If we find a headstone, does that mean that person's here in 'Underbrooke'?"
"Underbrooke?" Regina repeated in amusement. "Oh, you are clever, Derek."
"No, it just means they're passing through, that's all," Cruella explained. "Who are Regina and Alcina looking for? Who is this family of Axel he's looking for?"
"Well, never mind who," Mathias told her. "We just... we want to know where they are."
Cruella opened her bag, pulling out a piece of parchment. "I have a map here. Now that I've been made mayor, oh, thanks to Regina and Alcina's recently departed mother, slash Faye's grandmother. It's got a list of cemetery plots, and you have to know how to interpret the headstones. You see, there's three... what would you call them? Settings? If the headstone is upright, it means the person is still here in town. If it's tipped over, it means their soul has gone on to a better place, okay? Happy person, tippy stone."
"And the third setting?" Saphira asked.
"If it's cracked, well, that's bad," Cruella told them.
"Bad?" Saphira repeated. "They got pulled under to... wherever is worse than this place?"
"Yes," Cruella answered. "But no one who's anyone goes there anymore."

River of Lost Souls
The group was crossing the River, heading in the direction Jefferson had been sent, looking at the souls in the green water.
"I hope this boat you found doesn't spring a leak," Grace told them.
"This boat is the best thing we could have hoped to find," Alcina told them. "After we pick up Jefferson, it will take us all the way home."
They stood as they got to the docks.
"This is it," Freya told them. "He's down here. I can feel it."
"How can you feel it exactly?" Milah asked.
"It's part of their formerly linked minds when they used to share the madness," Lisa explained. "Once Jefferson is alive again, their minds will relink, and he'll take back his half of the madness."
Freya was holding the bloody wedding ring that Hades had taunted her about last chapter.
Gold was still sitting down. "I'm not leaving the boat. It's too valuable, and, like Priscilla, I know that Jefferson won't be happy to see me now more than ever." He looked at Freya, Grace, Lisa, Blake, Alcina and Christopher. "You're capable of getting him, I'm sure."
"Yeah, we got it," Blake answered in annoyance. "Shut up and leave it to us."
Christopher looked at Freya, Grace, Alcina, Lisa and Blake. "One thing. Don't even think about using magic. Hades would notice anything this close to his home base."
They nodded in understanding.
Milah pointed at Gold. "If he's not moving, I'm not, either. If he tries anything, I'll give a shout." The others nodded. "Priscilla. Grace--"
"Grandma, we don't have time for this," Grace told her. "We have to get Papa."
Milah chuckled, nodding. "No, I know. I just wanted to say I know what my unfinished business is. It's you, Cilla. And it's helping you, and your family. Helping you and Grace reunite with Jefferson. And it's Bae. I should have been there for both of you. Not punish you because I'd... grown to hate your father. I was selfish. I thought if I could change that, help save my family now... maybe I could finish what I need to."
"So you want to move on," Lisa told her.
Milah nodded. "Yeah. So I can see him and I can say what I'm saying to Cilla right now. 'I'm sorry for everything'."
"He'll forgive you," Grace told her. "Grandpa has betrayed us as well. So many times."
"And somehow, we always find a way to forgive him," Alcina told her. "He'll do the same for you."
"That's a nice thought, Alcina," Milah told her. "It's just... I really want to see him again, like I got to see Cilla again, and know that she's going to be happy with Grace and Jefferson, and Lisa and Blake."
Freya managed a small smile. "You'll see him again, Mama, and when you do, tell him hi from all of us."
Milah nodded with tears in her eyes. "Cilla, could you ever find a way to forgive me?"
"If I can find a way to forgive Papa for the horrible things he's done, which are vastly worse than what you did, I'm pretty sure that I can find a way to forgive you," Freya answered. "Thank you for this, Mama. Thank you so much."
Milah and Freya smiled sadly. Milah embraced her daughter. Even though surprised, Freya returned the embrace, her madness settled down so much now that she had this moment with her mother. Gold knew that this would happen, that it would help Freya with her madness, sighing, and even though he still hated Milah, he was relieved that she could help their daughter with her mind when he couldn't.
Milah pulled away, wiping Freya's tears away and her own, sharing another embrace with Grace. "Go, save Jefferson. Save your family. I love you."
Grace and Freya smiled slightly, running off with the others to go save Jefferson.

Night - Tavern
Milah and Rumple were sitting in a tavern, planning to kill Fendrake. A dagger was on the table. Rumple was shying away from it.
Milah rolled her eyes. "For God's sake, Rumple, it's a dagger, not a Dragon. Don't be scared of it."
"I'm scared because our children are dying," Rumplestiltskin told her. "They should be with us, not some village nursemaid."
"I didn't spend our last gold coin on a knife to slice the roast at their wake," Milah told him. "Bae and Cilla only have a couple of hours left. Let's spend that time doing something to help them, something... something brave, for once." She kissed Rumple. "Now go."
Rumplestiltskin picked up the dagger. "All right."
"Yeah?" Milah asked.
Rumplestiltskin nodded. "All right."
Rumple stood, leaving. Milah stayed behind, going to finish her ale.
A man bumped into her, causing Milah to spill her drink all over her. "Oh, did I make you do that? Oh, that's a nice dress and a pretty girl."
The man grabbed a cloth, trying to wipe near her chest.
Milah tried to push him away. "Stop it. I don't need that."
"No, I got it," the man told her. "I got it."
"I'm fine," Milah insisted.
Killian walked up, pushing the man back. "Leave the lady alone."
"Or what?" the man asked.
Killian tilted his head, shrugging. "Well..."
Killian punched the man in the face, making him fall unconscious, taking a drink off a tray, sitting beside Milah.
"Thank you, sir," Milah told him.
Killian kissed her hand. "Captain Killian Jones, at your service, ma'am."
Milah seemed taken with him instantly. "That doesn't look to be the uniform of any navy I've... oh, you're..."
"Well, they call us pirates," Killian answered. "We sail where we will and answer to no crown."
"I've not seen the ocean much beyond our small port," Milah admitted. "Is it wonderful to travel so much?"
Killian nodded. "Aye. Do you know... there are cities where the air smells of spices, and women are carried on jeweled chairs? Would you like to see that?"
"Well, I would love that," Milah answered. "But I have responsibilities here, ailing children. Husband."
Killian chuckled. "Ah, a husband. Well, it would appear a better man than I has won, but I am in port quite often... should that ever change."
"It--it won't," Milah told him. "But thank you."
Killian nodded, standing, walking to the bar for another drink. Milah watched him go, turning back to her drink, taking a sip.

Inside the structure, Jefferson was being lowered closer to the pool. Freya, Grace, Alcina, Lisa, Blake and Christopher ran inside, but like Christopher had said, they couldn't use magic otherwise Hades would sense them.
Blake saw him first. "Jefferson! Hang on! We're coming for you!"
Christopher saw a beam, running closer to help whoever up. "Beam."
Freya ran closer, so that Christopher could give her a boost up to the beam above head, so she could grab on and pull herself up to the balcony, attempting to cross a narrow beam toward Jefferson, almost stumbling, but managing to regain her balance.
Grace was watching worriedly in horror. "Mama!" Just as Jefferson was about to fall into the water, Freya reached him, pulling him to safety onto the balcony, unchaining him quickly. The others helped them down to the ground safely, making sure they were both okay. Grace was horrified by her father's appearance but relieved they finally found him. "Papa. Papa, you're okay. We're here."
"We got you," Lisa told them in relief. She saw all his injuries. "Oh... Jefferson."
Jefferson sighed shakily in relief to see them, weak but grateful, but also very worried. "You're all here. You shouldn't be here. Nobody should."
"Would you let us go?" Alcina replied. "You'd come back for us, too."
"We couldn't let you take the fall for this," Freya told him. "You're coming home."
Jefferson managed a small smile. "You're impossible."
Freya smiled in relief. "And you love me for it."
Jefferson nodded, chuckling weakly. All crying in relief and happiness to be reunited, Freya, Grace, Jefferson, Lisa and Blake embraced. Alcina and Christopher smiled in complete relief, while Ally had tears in her eyes.

Night - Fendrake's Hut
Fendrake was asleep. Rumple snuck in with the dagger, looking as if he was going to kill him, but changing his mind, looking through the potions, only to wake him up.
Fendrake looked around. "Who's here?" He saw Rumple. "You. I can kill you with a single spell."
Rumplestiltskin pulled out the dagger, moving toward Fendrake. "Oh, I--I don't need a spell. I've got a knife."
"Then do it," Fendrake told him.
Rumplestiltskin toiled over it for a few moments, but couldn't bring himself to do it. "I can't. I just can't."
Fendrake chuckled. "Of course not."
The scene changed to later, where they were both sitting at the table. Fendrake handed him a glass of water.
"Thank you," Rumplestiltskin told him.
"How much do your children mean to you?" Fendrake answered.
"Everything," Rumplestiltskin answered.
Fendrake held the potion out to him. "Then you can leave here with the cure."
Rumplestiltskin stammered nervously. "But I-I-I-I don't have any gold. I've just got a knife."
Fendrake sighed. "There will be a terrible price to pay, but not in gold. If you're interested... we can make a deal."
Rumplestiltskin considered. "I don't know much about deals, but... if I can save my children's lives, I will trade anything."

"They should be back by now," Gold told her.
Milah pointed to the souls. "They all look so lost."
Gold stood beside Milah. "Yes. Yes, they do."
Hades suddenly appeared, freezing Milah with magic, who had seen him. Gold pulled out his Dark One dagger, pointing it at Hades.
"Get your hand off that squiggly little thing," Hades told him. "I'm not here to fight."
"Yeah, well, perhaps I am," Gold told him.
"Oh, even when I'm here to talk about a deal?" Hades asked.
"A deal?" Gold repeated.
Hades nodded. "Let's chat."

Snow, Emma, Ella, Regina, Derek, Axel and the Matthews were walking together. Snow was reading off a map, as they were searching for graves belonging to Daniel, Rave and Axel's family.
Regina looked at Snow, Emma and Ella. "Thank you for coming."
"Of course," Emma told her. "I couldn't let you do this alone."
"And we couldn't let Axel do this alone either," Ella agreed. "Not since he's so nervous about what will happy. Axel still blames himself for what happened to them."
"Well, I should," Axel told them. "I killed them."
"It wasn't your fault, Axel," Snow told him. "You know that. I found Daniel and Rave's graves. It's okay. You can look."
Regina looked at Daniel and Rave's graves, which were tipped. "They're tipped. They're not... here."
Emma smiled reassuringly. "They've moved on. They're happy. You can tell Alcina that when she gets back from helping the others get Jefferson."
The others walked away to give Regina her time to talk to Daniel's grave.
Regina sighed. "Daniel... I'm so glad you're somewhere better. And Rave. But I'm also sorry I missed the chance to see you. I'm sorry Ally missed her chance to see Rave again. You were my first love, Daniel, and you will always live in my heart. I just needed to know you were okay. And I needed to tell Ally that Rave is okay too."
The others were still walking. Axel found the graves to his family. Ella and Snow walked closer.
"Is that them?" Snow asked. "Axel? Let me guess. Samuel is your father. Elijah is your brother."
"Yes," Axel answered. "And according to these gravestones, they're still here."
"It's okay, Axel," Ella told him. "Wherever they are, we'll find them. We'll help them move on."
Axel wasn't as convinced, worried about seeing them, but wanting to help them move on. "Will we?"
"Of course," Snow answered.
Axel sighed, nodding. "But they're here. The stones prove that. So why can't I find them?"
Ella sighed, shaking her head. "I don't know, Axel. But it doesn't matter. We will. You will see them again."
Snow and Ella sighed, trying to comfort him without being too intrusive.

Hades' Lair
Gold was sitting in a red leather chair. Hades handed him a glass of wine.
"You knew we were there the whole time?" Gold asked. "You set this all up so we would come for Jefferson."
Hades laughed. "Yes, you betcha. You know, I'm a fan of yours. I mean, there are Dark Ones, and then there is you. You're quite the worthy rival to my hot throne. And so were Freya and Jefferson when they were Dark Ones, and going completely bonkers. If the others hadn't saved them and turned them back to normal, they could have been even worse than you because of all the madness running around inside their heads."
"So is this how you treat rivals?" Gold asked. "Torturing Jefferson, tormenting Priscilla mentally?"
"They're the rivals," Hades told him. "You're the supplier. You've sent so many lovely dead people my way. I mean, Hook, Tori, Saphira, Mathias, Faye, Regina and Alcina did okay, but you've been at it longer, and they've gotten, you know, ugh, lately. So what I really need is you back up there doing your thing, and your friends... I want them down here, not doing their thing, because frankly, they piss me off, so I need you to sink that boat you found because it's their way out of here."
"Well, I was gonna use that boat, too," Gold told him.
"No problem," Hades told him. "I'll just wave my manicured hand, and boom, you'll be in bed with Mrs. Dark One by ten. Your family will go home with you when I'm ready. You in?"
"Well, you can destroy that boat yourself, I have no doubt," Gold pointed out.
"I could do it myself, yes, but I want you to do it," Hades told him. "So, are you a man I can do business with, or do I simply have to kill all of you? Don't forget that even though your precious Priscilla is reunited with Jefferson as of now, the madness won't be balanced between their minds unless he's alive to take half of it back into his head, and that means that I can still prey on your daughter's mind until she completely loses it."
"But my ex-wife saw you just now," Gold told him. "She'll tell my family."
"I'm sure that's a puzzle you can solve," Hades told him. "So, what's it gonna be? Sink the boat, get rid of Milah, and save your daughter? Or leave the boat and your ex-wife be, and have your family lose Freya forever?"
Gold glared at him angrily for threatening his daughter like that.

Night - Stiltskin Cottage
Milah was watching over Young Priscilla and Baelfire, who were slowly dying, deathly worried, horrified, holding their hands
Rumplestiltskin arrived home, holding the potion toward her. "Milah! I got it!"
Milah smiled happily in relief. "You got it?" She took the potion, opening it, lifting it to Baelfire's lips, allowing him to drink half of it, then doing the same for Young Priscilla so she could drink the rest, saving them. "Cilla, Bae, drink up." The two parents chuckled. Milah turned to look at Rumple happily. "You did it."
Rumplestiltskin nodded. "I just thought about what mattered."
"Well, the healer?" Milah asked. "Do we have to go back and hide his body? How did you leave him?"
"Oh, alive and well," Rumplestiltskin answered. "Milah, this worked out better than we thought. I didn't even have to steal it."
"Tell me more," Milah told him.
"Well, I had him," Rumplestiltskin explained. "He was fast asleep, I had the knife at his throat, and then it came to me in a flash. I thought, if I kill to save my children, then they grow up with a murderer, a monster as a father. Well, I couldn't do that."
"What are you talking about, Rumple?" Milah asked.
"He gave me the cure because we made a deal," Rumplestiltskin answered. "He wanted something else instead of gold."
"What did you give him?" Milah asked.
"I signed a paper promising him my third born child," Rumplestiltskin answered.
Milah was horrified. "You... you sold our child?"
Rumplestiltskin shook his head. "No, no, no, no, that's it. I mean, I didn't. We don't have a third born child. We just have to make sure we never do."
Milah scoffed. "Because you sold them! You sold our future."
"No," Rumplestiltskin told her.
Milah was heartbroken. "Our family. Rumple..."
Young Priscilla and Baelfire were waking up. "Papa? Mama?"
Rumplestiltskin and Milah ran closer to check on them in relief.
Rumple checked their fevers. "Bae? Cilla?"
Milah sighed in relief that they were okay. "Cilla. Oh, Bae, you're all right." She laughed in relief. "You're all right, you're all right."
"You go back to sleep," Rumplestiltskin told them. "Everything's gonna be fine." He led his wife aside to talk to her alone. "Oh, Milah. Bae and Cilla can be all the future we need."
Milah was angry and upset. "Well, thank you very much, for deciding the rest of my narrow, little life for me. I'm going to the tavern, Rumple."

Outside the structure, Gold arrived back to where Milah was, unfreezing her.
Milah stood, confused and suspicious. "What the hell? Hades was just here. What's going on, Rumple?"
Gold used magic to destroy the boat. "Congratulations, dearie. I've finally become the man you always wanted me to be. The man who takes what he needs. You might not believe me, but I'm doing this for the good of our daughter. For Priscilla. I'm sure you can understand that I'm trying to make up for past mistakes, even in the worst way."
Milah realized she was in danger, screaming for their daughter. "Cilla!"
Gold yelled her name to override her voice. "Milah!" He used his magic to throw Milah into he River of Lost Souls, inhaling deeply, pretending to be sad, knowing the others were coming back with Jefferson, purposefully injuring himself. "Hades!" The others ran out the tunnel, helping Jefferson along. "Hades!" Gold turned to look at them. "I tried to stop him. He blew my magic right back at me. Milah... I couldn't stop it. She's gone."
"What?" Lisa asked in shock. "Milah..."
"Milah?" Jefferson repeated. "Milah was here? Cilla's mother?"
"Yeah," Blake answered. "She helped us get to you."
Freya walked toward the edge of the stone to look in the water for her mother in shock, but couldn't find her in the River as she had already turned into a lost soul. "No. No!"
Gold looked a little guilty by her reaction.
Alcina walked toward her sister. "Cilla? You okay?"
Freya shook her head angrily. "No. No, I'm not, Ally."
Grace was stunned. "Grandma..."
Christopher was sympathetic for them, angry at his uncle. "Hades has much to answer for."
Jefferson nodded. "Indeed he does."

"A horse?" Regina asked. "Here?"
Regina looked around, noticing a horse laying down. It was her childhood horse she had had with Daniel.
"What's wrong with it?" Emma asked.
"It's hurt," Regina answered. "It can't stand."
Regina used her magic to heal the horse, which then trotted off.
Emma looked at her in surprise. "Regina, your magic. You did it."

The four Matthews and Derek were walking. Tori paused when she felt a little queasy.
"You okay?" Mathias asked. "Tori?"
Tori nodded. "Yeah. Fine. Just feeling..."
Saphira, Faye and Mathias seemed to be concentrating their hearing.
"What are you doing?" Derek asked.
"Listening for more than just a heartbeat for Mama Tori," Faye answered. "Dragon hearing can help us tell if someone's pregnant, Derek."
"Yeah," Saphira agreed. "It helped us tell Alcina was pregnant when you and Robin left with Roland and Faye. Who you thought was Clarissa at the time, Derek."
Tori gave them an amused look. "Oh. Would you stop that?"
Mathias chuckled. "Tori..."
Tori looked at him. "What? Mathias, don't hold out on me."
"You already know," Mathias told her.
"You do have a sparkle in your eyes," Saphira told her teasingly.
"You're glowing," Faye added. "A Siren shining like a star."
Tori chuckled, scoffing a little. "I am not."
"It was too soon for Mathias, Saphira and Faye to hear anything before, Tori," Derek told her. "But I think they can hear it now."
Tori gave him a look. "Derek." They were having fun with teasing Tori with sarcasm. Tori looked at them in surprise, happy to hear the news, but worried about it being in the Underworld. "Are you guys serious?"
"We're not gonna say deadly serious," Saphira told her. "You know, because we're having too much fun with the thought that you are. And it's been a long time coming, actually."
"Yeah, it has," Faye agreed.
Derek chuckled. "Faye. Saphira. I think Tori and Mathias get it. You're excited. You're happy to have a little sibling."
"Damn right we are, Derek," Faye told him.
Mathias smiled. "And we're excited for it, too, girls. But we weren't expecting to be down here when we find out Tori really is pregnant. We just have to make sure we get out of the Underworld soon. We can't risk anything down here."
Faye wrapped an arm around Tori. "Well, don't worry, Mama Tori. We won't let anything bad happen to you while we're down here."
"I can take care of myself, Faye," Tori told her.
"Oh, we know, Mama," Saphira told her teasingly. "We just can't let you get by without teasing you about having another baby."
"It's gonna be fine," Derek told them. "We could use some good news to lighten up the air."
"We will tell the others," Mathias added. "Just not until we're sure that they have Jefferson and everyone's okay."
Mathias wrapped an arm around Tori, kissing her head.
Tori leaned her head on his shoulder, smirking. "As if we don't already have our hands full. A new little one will be joining our family soon. I still hope it's a boy."
Mathias, Saphira and Faye spoke together. "Me, too."
Derek laughed at that. "A boy for the Matthews family. Hope your wish comes true. You'll see soon in about nine months."
They all laughed, walking along. As Saphira, Faye and Derek walked ahead of them, Mathias picked Tori up and spun her around, making her laugh as they kissed passionately and happily.
Derek took Saphira by the hand, spinning her around, making her laugh happily as well. They smiled, kissing sweetly but deeply, heatedly and passionately.

Hatter House - Living Room
Henry, Cyrus and Rose had been here all along, and once Freya, Grace, Alcina, Lisa, Blake, Christopher and Gold got back with Jefferson, they were tending to Jefferson's wounds. The others walked in.
Henry sighed in relief. "Uncle Jefferson. Good job, guys."
Ella looked at Jefferson in concern. "Oh. Look at you."
Jefferson sighed. "I'll be all right."
"How did you do it?" David asked.
"Gold got them in," Cyrus answered. "They all went to Freya's mom for help. They poofed them all back here. They even had a boat to get us all back home. But it's gone."
"Really?" Killian asked. "What happened? You saw Milah?"
"Yeah," Henry answered. "They did."
"Hades attacked them," Rose told them. "They lost the boat. And they lost Milah. Our grandmother."
Jefferson turned to look at Gold. "I know you took away my sacrifice. You were going to let Cyrus sacrifice himself for nothing. Everything I did to make up for what I did, everything Cilla did to make up for what she did, and what we both did to save everyone all went to give you back your power. After everything, we should still want to kill you."
Gold nodded. "Acknowledged."
Jefferson sighed, having to admit this, even though he wasn't happy about it, and even though they didn't know what he had done. "But... you helped get me out of there, and you brought Milah into this in the first place to help Cilla handle the madness inside her head. Hoping it could help her if she had a reunion with her mother. So I should say..."
"Thank you?" Gold suggested. "No need."
"Stay of execution," Freya told him. "We're even for now."
Gold nodded. "And yes, you're both welcome. And you, Grace."
Grace looked down. "But Grandma..."
"Grace, I'm sorry you lost her," Axel told her. He looked at the others. "All of you."
Grace managed a small smile. "Thank you, Axel."
"Okay," Killian told them. "We don't have a way out. But we didn't have one before anyway. Their magic's working fine now. So let's do this heart split. That way, when we find an exit, we can get through it."
Jefferson looked at Freya in surprise. "Heart split?"
Henry nodded. "Yep. You and Aunt Freya have shared madness. For literally all your lives. Or most of them, anyway. Your minds were linked. It's obvious a heart split will work for you two. Just like it worked for Grandpa and Grandma."
"It's a good plan," Derek told them. "It'll work. Trust me."
Freya stepped forward, sighing, clearing her throat.
Faye tilted her head. "Let's do it." Tori, Saphira and Mathias looked at her. "Yes. I copied your family saying. Our family saying. But still."
They smiled slightly. Mathias went to remove Freya's heart, but was repelled by magic.
"What was that?" Derek asked.
Gold frowned in confusion.
"Interesting," Christopher told them.
"What the bloody hell?" Tori asked.
"What is this?" Derek asked. "Why didn't it work?"

The entire group was at the cemetery, while Freya and Grace were still supporting Jefferson. They were all looking at four gravestones which said Priscilla, Grace, Rose and Alcina Mills.
Jefferson sighed. "Hades told me to pick names and chisel them onto headstones. He said whoever I picked would remain in the Underworld. I refused. He added more names and more headstones because I refused him."
"Well, it looks like he did the picking himself," Ella told him. "And he picked your family just to torture you more. Rose's still your niece."
Regina was very angry. "But being that she's Ella's and my daughter, there's gonna be hell to pay."
"What does this mean?" Emma asked.
"It means Freya, Grace, Rose and Alcina are stuck here," Mathias answered. "And now we can't use Freya's heart to save Jefferson."
"Meaning he's not coming back to life," Tori told them. "Also meaning that all of the madness will stay in Freya's head because he's not alive."
Gold was very angry, sighing.
"Well, we got Jefferson back, and yet Hades managed to find a way to trap you all here still," Christopher told them.
Gold turned to leave. "I'll be in the shop."
"Where the hell are you going?" Alcina asked.
"To find a way to get the names of my daughters and granddaughters off those stones, if that's okay with you, Alcina," Gold replied, leaving.
The others watched him go, suspicious of his actions.

Enchanted Forest
Night - Fendrake's Hut
Fendrake was organizing his potions when a knock came on the door. The door opened to reveal no one was there.
Rumplestiltskin, as the Dark One now, appeared inside. "Peekaboo! Some places never change, even after all these years. Wouldn't hurt to dust the chickens."
"I know who you are, Dark One," Fendrake told him.
Rumplestiltskin chuckled. "Well, I imagine you do."
"You weren't like this before," Fendrake told him.
"That's right," Rumplestiltskin agreed. "I was a mortal man then, and a moral one. A man in a desperate situation. And you took advantage, and I admire that a great deal. Full points. But I don't like carrying debt."
"Unfortunately, Dark One, the contract is binding," Fendrake told him. "Even if I wanted to change it, I couldn't. You owe me."
Rumplestiltskin giggled. "I owe you! That's right, but... I can't owe a debt to a dead man." He ripped out Fendrake's heart. "Now, I don't like debts. But I do love a loophole."
Rumple crushed Fendrake's heart, killing him.

Underworld
Hades' Lair
Hades was reading a book, looking up when Gold walked in. "Oh, there you are."
Gold was very angry. "I destroyed that boat and sent Milah into the River to protect Priscilla, and then you go and put her name, along with Alcina, Rose and Grace's, onto those headstones."
"Oh, thank you very much for what you did," Hades told him. "It means so much to me that you took care of it. It shows passion. Was it terrible to do? I think you liked it."
"Stop fishing," Gold told him. "I won't tell you that I liked it, because I didn't. Not in any way that matters. And I'll never do anything like that again."
Hades chuckled. "Wow, you really mean that. I--I'm blown away."
"You said Priscilla would be safe if I took care of it," Gold told him. "Not put her, Alcina, Rose and Grace in danger. You said you would send me and my family home. A gentleman always keeps his deals. You have to keep--"
"I said that I wouldn't damage Freya's mind further," Hades corrected. "I didn't say I wasn't keeping my deal. Sure, I'll send you and your family home, just not today. I'm keeping Freya, Alcina, Rose and Grace's names on those stones to make sure you listen to me. Why, you ask? Because you tried to hide something from me. But before we get to the part that you're hiding from everyone, let's take a peak at what you saw earlier today." He magically produced the glass ball that Gold had broken earlier, which was now fixed. "Ah, let's take a look at your wife Belle. Tori's sister. Saphira and Faye's aunt. Mathias's sister in law. Eventually Derek's aunt in law." The ball showed Belle and Robin taking care of the babies. "So pretty. I mean, I've been watching her for hours, while she and Alcina's lover Robin are keeping eye over Faye and Derek's baby, and Alcina and Robin's twins, and your wife is simply darling. You put this crystal ball together so well. Using the eyeball, inspired. And then, butterfingers, you dropped it. Insane, after all that work, and I couldn't figure out why an image of your wife would affect you so strongly. So I did a little digging and a little thinking, and I realized you weren't trying to conjure an image of her, were you? You were trying to figure out where your son went. You asked the crystal ball to show you your son, didn't you? So, this is an image of your son, your next son. Belle doesn't know it yet, but she's pregnant. Just like Tori is, with Mathias's kid, Saphira and Faye's little brother. Yeah, I heard all about it when Tori was telling her family and Derek earlier, how she conceived in Camelot and didn't realize she was pregnant until earlier today, but Tori's sister there in this ball here, she's just barely conceived your son. But let's get back to your business with Freya, Alcina, Grace and Rose, shall we? More about Freya right now. Guess what?" He magically summoned Fendrake. "Remember him? You two had a contract. You tried to void it by killing him during a certain potential baby making liaison with your protege, Regina and Alcina's mother, Cora, when you were the Dark One, back when you didn't know that Alcina was your first born child, because she was born before you became the Dark One. Before you had Baelfire and Priscilla. You didn't know it back then when you signed this, but Freya was not your second born child. She's your third born. It turns out death doesn't actually nullify a contract, not down here, because here he is, and here's the contract." He magically produced the contract. "Which he signed over to me. Which means what I said earlier to Jefferson is actually true. I own your daughter now, your third born child, Freya. I can break her any time I want, keep her down here forever, and make sure she really loses herself to the madness inside her."
Gold glared at him furiously. "No. I won't let you take her."
Hades chuckled. "It is amazing how much you still love Freya even after everything you did to her, to Jefferson, to Grace, to Lisa and Blake. And Alcina. Even Henry and Rose. I knew you were gonna try to get Freya away from me as soon as you found out that I had this contract, which is why I put her name on the stone to make sure you can't save her. And I put Alcina, Rose and Grace's names on the stones as well, because each time you disobey me or try to save your family, you're gonna lose one more of them. I added that little twist to the contract when Fendrake signed it over to me. So, just to be super extra clear. Freya is mine. Alcina, Rose and Grace are trapped here for insurance against you. And if you keep disobeying me or try to save them, I will go deeper, and I will take Henry from you, and your new baby that Belle's holding. But don't forget that your family also extends to Jefferson, who I had for a while now before you and your family took him back, but since he's dead and now that Freya can't use her heart to bring him back to life, he's not going anywhere. But your family also extends to Tori, Saphira, Mathias and Faye, thanks to your marriage with Belle. Your family includes, Derek and Faye's baby. Tori and Mathias's unborn child. Alcina and Robin's twins. All magic comes with a price, and now, Dark One, the price is, if you want to save your family, by marriage or blood alike, you work for me. And there's something I need you to do, that only you can do."
Shocked and angry, Gold could do nothing but glare at Hades.
