Two.

"When you said backstage passes, I thought you actually meant it." I complain, trying to maintain my crouching position.
"I tried. I know a guy who knew a guy who could get it for me. But apparently, he didn't." Eve pulls her dress down, trying to cover her thighs further.
"Then why did you lie." I huff out in annoyance, glad as the security passes by.
She straightens up alongside me, fixing her hair. She turns to look at me, a smirk on her face.
"Cause I told Jeremy I would get it. And he would never let me hear the end of it. Plus, this is very exciting."
" This is exciting? Sneaking backstage is likely a crime." At this point, I can no longer hold my irritation.
" Yeah yeah. Now let's go find Cade." She grabs my hand, pulling me forward as the path is clear.
Backstage wasn't exactly how I pictured it. Probably hoped to see Cade just casually lounging around so we could just ask for a picture.
No biggie.
However, it is clustered with equipments everywhere, with so many people. They are so busy that they didn't notice us, well except the security of course. There are several areas marked "Authorized Personnel Only" making the quest to find him even more impossible.
Eve turns a corner, pulling me towards a narrow corridor. It's dimly lit, a number of doors on its left and right side.
"Now which one do you think is Cade's." Eve asks absurdly, her eyes squinting at the doors.
"We are not entering Cade's dressing room." I tug at her arm, my heart beat increasing with nervousness. " That's trespassing."
"Not when you're fans." Eve states, pulling me before I can protest her answer.
She knocks subtly, before pushing the door slightly ajar. The laughter and voices behind the door convinces me that it's probably security free.
She puts her foot in, pushing the door slightly. The strong whiff of smoke hits me before we fully enter the room. The room's lightning gives it a violet hue, not really good for the eyes.
The place has a strong presence of smoke in the air, despite the air conditioning present. Eve gasps, her fingers pointing at the people in front of her.
I take a peek from behind her to see them sitting casually on the lounge seats. One of them relaxes against the material, his arm wrapped around a girl's shoulders, his fingers nestled in her auburn hair.
His hand holds a cigarette, responsible for all the smoke present. His eyes squint at us, trying to recognize us which he would definitely fail.
"Anthony." Eve says lightly, her voice coming out a bit seductively. The girl in his arm scowls as Anthony seems to suddenly take an interest in Eve.
"Who are you?" Irritation evident in her tone, her eyes sizing us up and down.
Paris.
She didn't seem so stuck up as she performed earlier. I actually thought she was a nice person, with how amazing she sounded. But now, I wasn't so sure at how she was glaring at us.
"We are fans." Eve states simply, as if she wasn't just trespassing. Her legs lead her forward, towards the seat leaving me unprotected.
"Fans who shouldn't be here." Paris says, entangling herself from Anthony's arms as he gives more attention to his cigarette.
"Chill, Paris. They don't seem like trouble. Plus I like her, she's bold." Anthony says, his eyes roaming Eve's body shamelessly.
That gives Eve more than enough courage to grab a seat by Anthony's unoccupied side. Paris scowls even more, but she quickly flips through her phone as if she's unaffected.
Not wanting to look stupid,I quickly try to back up out of the room quietly when I spot the table.
If I haven't already said food is my weakness, I will now.
The food is laden with so much food that my I almost drool.
Almost.
I walk gingerly towards it, my eyes instantly sparkling at it's sight. From soda to brownies to fruits dipped to chocolate. I instantly grab cookies, stuffing into my mouth. Before I can grab so more, I feel somebody walk behind me.
"I usually start with muffin first. Seems we all have different choices."
My heart stills.
I stay rooted to the spot, unable to turn. His arm brushes besides me as he grabs muffin. I'm about to pass out just from his proximity when I notice it.
Cade doesn't have tattoos.
The tattoos on his hand are very attractive;a rose and a few words written in beautiful script. I'm unable to read the words as he sends his arm back.
I turn to face him, surprised at how close he is and how good looking he is. His sandy hair is in messy curls over his heard, his black eyes staring back at me. Despite the violet lighting, I'm able to see freckles scattered across his nose. His eyebrows has a ring that I didn't notice early and I suddenly understand why he's has such a crazy fan club.
Oliver.
"Haven't seen you around before. Are you a back up dancer?' He bits the muffin, not realizing how distracting he's been. His tongue peeps out, wetting his lips as he chews.
Now I'm a creep.
He raises an eyebrow at me, probably wondering what's wrong with me.
"No.." I start, peeking behind his shoulders to see if Eve's still present. She's snuggled up to Anthony's side if only it could be described as such. Her face is obscured from my vision by Anthony's, in hopes that they're not sucking faces. Paris however, is no longer to be seen.
"That your friend?" He turns as well, witnessing Eve's 'display' with Anthony. "Paris is not going to be happy." He chuckles returning to look at me.
"They are a thing?" I can't help but ask, everyone likes a bit of gossip about stars, even if they're not A-list.
Oliver doesn't get time to answer as the door thrown open, with two security guards looking furiously at us.
Oh crap.
I quickly bolt from Oliver, using his body to block them from reaching me. Luckily Eve has entangled herself from Anthony, as I grab her and run for the door. I heard a few chuckles behind us but with the security close behind, I take no chances.
"Where are we going." Eve questions, still holding on to me. It's obvious that she's still disoriented from earlier.
I hardly answer her when I realize others have joined in our chase. Looking at the doors before us, I quietly resign to our fate.
"Why did you stop? Let's split now." The last word comes without precaution, as she pushes me towards the door, going in the opposite door herself.
I catch myself, before I plummet face forward into the ground. I straighten up, looking for a place to hide carefully surveying my surroundings.
My eyes fall on his amber eyes, his pink lips parted in surprise. His hair falling down his forehead due to its dampness. His arms instinctively cross over his chest, making me stare at the bare chiseled body.
I gulp loudly.
Holy mother of a flying weasel.
Cade!

A/N
Hehe...couldn't help this cliffhanger.
Please forgive me for the long wait. Seems like I underestimated the strain of writing two books simultaneously.
It's actually difficult than I thought.
I'll put in more effort I promise.
Hope you liked this chapter?
Don't forget to hit the star button and comment.
QOTD..... have you snuck somewhere before? If yes, where was it?
If no, then you're just like me. We take adventures only in books..
Yours truly,
Quist.
