His Crimson eyes
First of all Prince Shu was never a morning person. Like seriously waking up in the morning was one of the things he used to hate the most, considering the fact that he did not hate many things. The birds chirped outside and the whole castle was buzzing with maids, butlers and servants walking along the long halls in quick steps finishing all their responsibilities they were assigned with. Shu was still peacefully sleeping on his bed with the covers thrown over his head because of the light filtering through the long windows, sure he liked the sun but liking the sun and waking up in the mornings as he considered it are like two whole new things.
Prince Shu's private butler and maid came into his room to wake the young prince up. The maid went to a corner of his large room to make the morning portion of his medicine. Even though eleven years had passed after he was diagnosed with this illness, he still suffered from it. He could not overly exhaust his body, nevertheless his skills in warfare was excellent. Many of the scholars was amazed by the wit of the Prince. As his teachers said he learned quickly and was intelligent enough to take down his enemies by strategies. But what Shu liked to do was to spend his time inside the castle library. For him, it was a place filled with wonders. That place helped him to forget his problems for a while. Forget about his sickly body and about his weaknesses. Shu spent hours reading and learning about the truth behind the stars and the time of peace and the stories about dragons which to have said that extincted long ago.
His butler took quick steps to the young Prince's bed and patted the covers slightly. "Prince Shu, it's time to wake up. Your parents are getting ready for breakfast my prince"
Shu just groaned turning his back toward the butler who ceased his brows. Waking Prince Shu in the morning was the hardest part of his job and he's possibly growing more and more grey hairs from it in each day. But no matter how much hard Prince Shu can get no one in the castle could bad mouth or hate the young prince because of his unique charms. "I think his highness is talking about some school for young Princes"
This made Shu curious. He sat down, more likely jolted down looking at his butler with eyes filled with curiosity. "A school?" He asked. "Like in the outside?"
The butler smiled. He knew how much the young Prince loved to go to outside. From his birth he was stuck inside this castle. The only thing he had seen is the royal garden and nothing else. He had listened to Prince's rambling of his love to go to the outside and see the world. "I think so, wanna hear it from them?"
Shu jumped put from the bed and put on his slippers trying to race to the dining hall but before he could the butler stopped him. "You should put on some proper clothes my Prince, and make sure to get your medicine"
Shu made a face at it. "But those are bitter" He said sticking out his tongue as if to indicate his displeasure. The butler only stared at him as Shu sighed. "Yeah, yeah that's what keeps me alive"
Cutting through the tension of the air the maid walked to them and handed him the cup which included his dose of medicine. It was made from the medicinal flower called Katuseki which practically meant blood. Shu always thought maybe because it's blood red colour this flower got this name and he often thought what would happen his parents thought about naming him that. Like they'll see he have blood red eyes and think we should name him blood. Shu chuckled to himself at the thought as he gulped down the bitter drink in one go. After a while he was walking to the dining hall where his parents waited for him to tell about this new school.

In the Hyoketsu kingdom the royal family was already sitting around their grand dining table. The untouched food was on the table as the King crossed his arms looking at his son. "So, what do you think?"
Lui sighed. "A school huh? Wonder who go that idea but sounds fair for me. What do they teach?"
"The combat styles, arts and literature and surely some more techniques. I think it would be beneficial for a Prince at your age and besides you can make some good friends"
"But big brother says he hates friends" Yuki commented finally starting to eat.
Lui smirked. "This is why I love my sister, she knows me well, where is this School anyway?"
"It's in the Akarui kingdom. And king Kurogane is the one who suggested it. The Akarui kingdom is well known for their wisdom, and it's a peaceful kingdom I think everything would go just fine" The queen commented.
Lui snorted. "That old man's kingdom isn't it?"
"Lui, learn to respect your elders" The queen scolded as she continued. "And your friend Zenkuro is the heir of the kingdom and besides you two are the same age and your father's as well. I don't see why you call him an old man"
Lui just clicked his tongue. "He's not my friend. I mean he's too flashy." Lui and Zac had known each other for sometime long, being the neighboring kingdoms and allies in war they had close connections. But for Lui, Zenkuro or Zac as he liked to be addressed was too annoying. Well, the only person he liked in the castle was his companion Gou who was the son of the chief commander. Besides that Prince Lui liked to spend most of his time alone training. His combat skills are on a whole another level. There was no match for him in the whole kingdom, even the mightiest commander give up under this fiery power of the Prince. And he did not like reading much but he was always bright in Mathematics and the Philosophies which his teachers liked to blabber about.
"Gou is coming with you" King Shirosagi said cutting off his thoughts. Lui blinked.
"Oh, then I'm down for it. At lease one sane person would be with me and a person who can really challenge my combat skills"
The king crossed his arms in a thoughtful manner. "And as I heard the opening ceremony of the school would be crowded. King Kurogane had invited the Kurenai bloodline too"
A silence took over the air of the table. Lui raised his brow. "Kurenai? That sick prince? What would he do in a combat school. This is ridiculous"
Yuki looked at him thoughtfully. "But no one has seen him still. I'm kinda curious about him. I wanna see whether the rumors are true or not"
Lui sighed. "Okay, I'm in. I can sharpen my skills by going there. I don't care about that sick bastard either"
The queen gasped. "Lui, mind your language at least when you're sister is in presence"

Shu placed a hand on his cheek tilting his head looking at his father who was in a war with himself thinking about the school. Shu pouts. "Dad, please I wanna go"
His mom looked uncertain. "But Shu, we're concerned about your health. If you exhaust your self too much-"
"I'll die" Shu finished it for her. He knew his parents are overly protective toward him. But he needed some freedom to enjoy his life. His parents winced slightly seeing Shu phrase the word death lightheartedly. "But mom I can't stay in this castle for the rest of my life besides Valt will be there too. So, I won't be lonely and I can make new friends. I'm sure Valt has some pretty good friends. And gods I can see the outside worlds. I'm sure there would be dragons and there would be various flowers that even the royal garden doesn't have" Shu kept on his ramble as his parents watched him fondly.
Valt was the prince of the Yokina kingdom and from the famous Aoi bloodline. They were the neighboring kingdom of Moeru and Valt was the only friend Shu ever had. Valt always came to visit him and he listened to Valt's talk about the outside world in wonder. He did felt a little envious of his best friend but he was grateful for Valt's kindness toward him. Not everyone wanted to be with a sick person like him. And when Shu heard that Valt would be attending the school as well the tiny doubts inside his mind dissolved in mere seconds.
Shu kept on rambling about the things he read in books when a hand on his head stopped him. King Kurenai patted the soft milky white locks of the boy. "There would be a day where we need to let you go and I think the skills you learn from this school would be important in the long run. So sure, I'll give you permission"
The queen took the pale slender hand of her son. "But promise me you'll be careful. Specially from the Shirosagi Prince and take your medicine on time"
Shu nodded his head vigorously. "I will, I will"

The Akarui kingdom was always known for it's outstanding festivities. The people of this kingdom was considered as a one of a kind, the young Prince who called himself as Zac the sunshine was always cheerful and outgoing. The king of this kingdom promoted people for their arts and music which made this kingdom the center of Arts. They were excellent at warfare too. Hyoketsu kingdom always bewared to keep this certain Kingdom in their good side and after the peace ensued in the two kingdoms: Moeru and Hyoketsu, King Kurogane got this excellent idea of gathering young Prince's and Noble's, Chief Commander's young sons together in order to keep this peace for a long time.
Akarui kingdom always held Zeus in high regard. They did not have certain powers like Moeru or Hyoketsu, but this holy land always produced excellent swords which were able to cut through hardcore rocks. And the kingdom held the Nine Muses in high regard for they believed that this excellent music skills they own are from the blessing of the nine goddesses of the music. Prince Zac was extra busy in this certain day. It was the opening ceremony of the school which will produce many brave kings and commanders to the kingdoms. King Kurogane believed in Zac to organize this grand ceremony because he knew that Zac was capable of doing these kind of things.
"No no no" Zac said calling for a servant. "That flower pot goes to that place"
The servant bowed slightly as he carried the flowers to the correct place. By noon everything was arranged and many people were already in the section assigned to them. Most of them were here for one reason, and Zac also had that reason. To see the mystery Prince Kurenai Shu. There were two kinds of rumors going on about him. One was that he's beautiful than anyone you can find in the world, second was that he's handsome and muscular like a brave warrior. Zac really couldn't picture himself this Shu looking muscular for his own reasons. Zac shrugged it off as he realized that it was time. The bell which stood across the castle rang three times indicating that the guests are already arriving. And his father was already sitting on the head throne Zac smiled at him, the king simply nodded admiring his work. Zac was a replica of his father. His lengthy blonde hair with a red streak and his stunning blue eyes were gifts he got from his father but his tender smile was his mother's many have said.
Akarui kingdom lost their Queen two years ago when Zac was only twelve. And the whole kingdom grieved their Queen's death for she was one of the kindest people to ever exist. She took care of her citizens with motherly love. She was a true mother for the whole kingdom. This year Zac turned fourteen, the same age as Lui and the rest of the students who would be attending.
Zac's thoughts were broken by the sound of the horses. Then he saw one by one guests arriving. First, it was the Hyoketsu Kingdom. The kind and queen was welcomed with a loud cry of cheers and Zac was sure many of the girls fainted as Lui stepped to the arena. Zac watched as the Shirosagi family went to his father and seated down as Lui walked to Zac and sat down beside his seat as he groaned halfheartedly. "I hate crowded places"
Zac smiled. "I know that much"
One by one the other kingdoms came. Everyone gasped in utmost awe when one certain kingdom stepped in with their respective Prince. Besides Moeru and Hyoketsu there was another kingdom who owned powers. This kingdom was celebrated for their unique power and calm nature. Throughout the wars this Kingdom stayed neutral not wanting to see more blood. It was the Doerin kingdom. The Prince of the kingdom was well known for his handsome features. King Da La Hoya was a peaceful yet strict and stern king who ruled his kingdom in peace and no one dared to commence war against this kingdom.
They held God Fanfir at utmost respect for they got the abilities of draining from him. The heir to the throne Prince Free Da La Hoya was known for his calm and neutral nature. Even though he appeared to be a lazy person in combat and warfare he was at the same level as Prince Lui. Both of them knew each other for a long time but they were neither friends nor enemies. They respected each other's skills. Lui watched Free as he arrived wearing a passive face as he always does. He simply walked to them with only a nod as he seated beside Gou.
Free sighed seeing many more kingdoms and noble families entering the arena. He would've preferred a good sleep amidst all this but his father would not really appreciate that, he thought bitterly. Prince Valt came in being his cheerful self as usual. This kid never runs out of energy he thought absent minded. Then there was Komurasaki, Kiyama from the nobles. And Prince Shakadera from Chikara kingdom. Chagake, Ruway Sun from the commanders. Free leaned down crossing his arms as he observed them one by one. "Quite a crowd" He thought as his eyes shifted into another guest which was Karlisle from the nobles.
Then everything stopped. The crowd started to murmur wondering whether the Moeru kingdom was coming or not. Lui clicked his tongue, tired by the waiting. "This Kurenais" He muttered when a sound of horses stopped them. Everyone was on the edge of their seats eagerly waiting as the King Kurenai stepped to the arena first. Behind him was the queen the crowd went wild with cheers just as for the Hyoketsu and Doerin kingdoms. Everyone's eyes were straining to see that one person. Lui just crossed his arms as a boy certainly few months younger than him stepped in. He looked overwhelmed by all the cheers. Then quite suddenly they stopped as a dead silence engulfed the arena.
Everyone was staring at the young Prince of the Kurenai Kingdom. Zac blinked taking in the slender and the graceful appearance of the Prince. His porcelain white skin was untouched by the sun. His milky white hair was tied up in a ponytail.
Lui could only focus on his eyes. They were red, crimson and they were stunning he had to agree. He watched as his eyes darted to left and right almost in panic. They were the most beautiful red he had ever seen. Then his eyes stopped right when they met with the his own violet. Shu kept the eye contact for a second until Lui threw a murderous glare at him. Shu wrinkled his brows turning his attention to his parents. The stunning silent was soon replaced by quite murmurs.
"He certainly is a shooting star" Zac said as he watched the young Prince follow his parents to where all of their parents sat.
Free blinked. "He doesn't seem to be a sick person" He tilted his head slightly. "This year is gonna be quite interesting"
Lui glared at his enemy. Without even a second after admiring his eyes, Lui concluded this guy to be his enemy. The sole reason of him being the heir of the Kurenai kingdom was enough for him. Everyone watched Prince's every move as he knelt on one knee in front of King Kurogane. "It's a pleasure to meet you, your highness. I'm Kurenai Shu, the heir of the Moeru kingdom" He said bowing his head in respect.
The king smiled. "It's my first time seeing you and I should say I'm already delighted by your discipline my Prince. You may stand now"
Shu stood up and bowed one last time turning around to the place where all the soon - to - be - students sat down. His eyes darted nervously when a voice rang. "Shuuuuu here" Valt yelled throwing a hand on the air. Shu let out a relieved sigh as he walked to his one and only friend and sat down beside him. Then all the chaos broke down as the dancers came in, and the festival started.
