Shadow open her eyes, her head hurt for some reason, she was laying on grass that turned dark blue in the shadowed night of a forest. She couldn't feel the grass under her hands though, Shadow looked at the trees, their bark blacker than the sky, in front of her was a man dress in a black suit and cloak, his face was covered by a grey mask. His red eyes glowed with insanity and annoyance, "Finally," He crossed his arms and leaned on a tree, "Listen Shadow, you know who I am right?" "Yea..." "Good you can talk! You understand the fact that I was a crazed killer and got away with it because it was considered that I was just insane right?" "What does that have to do with me?" "A lot of things actually... You see, we both kill a lot of people *cough* sadly different reasons and ways, and we both share the same mind set, making us technically the same person..." "What do you want DeSaiful?" 

DeSaiful started to fidget around and grew uneasy as he looked at his landscape, he impatiently sighed and spoke again, "Look I made a lot of enemies, most of them I killed, MOST of them. And... well... One time I got captured by some of my enemies and... I made a promise, which I accidentally broke and had to make a new one..." "A new one? How much trouble can a Domnae get into?!" "Oh trust me we get into a lot... But, anyway, I made a new promise to... umm... what was it? OK, so I don't remember what it was but! All I know is that I didn't fulfill it and now they know where WE are and will soon try to kill us or... something like that..." "DESAIFUL!" "HEY! You try being dead for 50 million years and cling to all your memories as the universe, or whatever it is, the devil? I don't know, tortures you for eternity because you made a few mistakes!"

The ground and sky began to break like glass as Shadow rubbed her head to try to get rid of her anger, DeSaiful grabbed her hands and looked her in the eyes. "Look I can't explain everything but I need you to let use your body when they come." "First of all who? Second of all, NO!" "I don't know who they are! And WHY! I'm pretty sure they'll be reasonable... If not I could kill 'em..." "NO! NO! NO! I don't care about the things coming to kill us, but you coming back to life again after you tried to kill Techno?! HELL NO!" "Ok so I made a mistake..." "That was more than a mistake!" "But still! I admit I made a mistake! I've made a lot of mistake... But this is something I need to do! Please Shadow, how can I change your... our mind?" "Hmm. I want the full ability to control shadows like you and BayaDane." "Wait? You can't do that?" "No! I'm stuck controlling you everytime I try!" The forest and DeSaiful began to crack and shatter into invisible shards, darkness surrounded Shadow. A muffled voice started to become clear, "Shadow... Shadow!.. SHADOW YOU MAGGOT GET THE FUCK UP!"

Shadow jolted up just as BayaDane threw his knife down into the metal table, were it laid stuck in a massive pile of papers. She stared into his angry eyes embarrassed and tapped the table with her fingers as he yelled at her for sleeping during his meeting. As soon as the meeting was over BayaDane sat down next to Shadow rubbing his nose with both his hands, "What the hell has gotten into you girl! You've been like this the whole day!" "I don't know..." "You're hangin by a thread today Shadow... Well now, I got a job for ya, I hope you're able to do it. We got a new recruit who's gone AWOL, I want you to not only bring him back but give him his punishment too." "Sir yes sir!"

BayaDane tossed Shadow poisoned darts and a hand pistol, "Remember five shots to the head, nothing more else you'll kill 'em." "Yes sir!"

Shadow walked out of the bunker and deep into the star lit forest. The trees bark turned black in their leaves shadows, the grass was a dark blue with silvers reflecting from the starry sky. The wind blowed as if angered by Shadow, she kept walking, dead leaves crunched under her feet. The wind picked up a scent, the metallic scent of blood and the scent of burned clothes. She followed the scents to an opening of the forest in the form of a ring. In the middle was the burned body of the AWOL soldier, he was still partially twitching, shadows formed around Shadow stabbing her like spears and forcing her to the ground. black cloaked figures appeared from black smoke, their faces covered by plague doctor masks. One rather fat one kicked at Shadow's ribs, his voice was hollow and sounded like many people barely talking in unison, "Such a waste of flesh humans are! The only thing they are good for is containing Domnae powers!"

The other three laughed the same hollow laugh, another one kicked Shadow in the face, "It is sad how these types of Domnae species are the most gorgeous yet one of the most pathetic. Hey, this one looks like the female version of Shadow DeSaiful."

It put its finger close to Shadow's face, she watched it move around a little before sinking her front fangs deep in its flesh. The thing pulled away from Shadow and looked at the others, "This one even has DeSaiful's temper!"

Hey Shadow, my dear. Now would be the best time to let me out! Shadow sighed and tried to lift herself up as DeSaiful to over her body. The cloaked things stared in surprise as they watched Shadow stand and even turn into DeSaiful, he stared back with crazyed red eyes, a fangy smile could be seen from the grey mask covering his face. DeSaiful laughed and shrugged a the cloaked things surrounded him, their hands burning with magic flames, "Look, I know I made a promise to you guys, er whatever you are-" "For the last time! We are Dralsirds!' "Right... Dra sal whatever!" "Dr-al-sird! Are you dumb!" "Yes! you guys know this! Now! Can I please finish talking my way out of this problem? Yes? Ok! I know I made a promise which I clearly broke, seeing as you are here, but... Can't we put the past behind us? I mean after all I'm dead!" "So is our organs, life, and bodies! You made us this way! You killed our entire population! Now tell me how are you going to talk your way out of this you little tounge twister!?"

DeSaiful slightly chuckled awkwardly and put his hands near his face as he tried to back away from the Dralsirds, the tallest one threw a flame to DeSaiful. DeSaiful put his index and middle finger together and placed them by his nose, shadows formed around him and spun the flames around his body. "Ya know? If you're going to be a spell caster either you need to be quick or your spell does otherwise ya ain't going to hit your enemy. Now, since we can't seem to meet a compromise either you leave or I'll kill you. I'm feeling really nice today and I'm going to let you chose your fates!"

Two of the Dralsirds left but the other two stayed and tried to fight DeSaiful. They threw more flames at DeSaiful but the shadows surrounding his body absorbed the flames, he rolled his eyes and released the shadows sending the flames back down on their casters. They dodged the flames, letting the smoke clear they saw that DeSaiful was gone, puting their backs together they watched their surroundings. Shadows shot from the ground like spears stabbing the two Dralsirds in millions of ways. Their bodies fell to the ground and was blown away like dust, DeSaiful leaned on a tree and soon turned back to Shadow, she looked around with a blank stare. Techno and BayaDane soon appeared from bushes, they were looking for Shadow, Techno ran up to Shadow and hugged her seeing as she was ok. "You were gone for a long time. We thought something happened!" 

Shadow stared blankly, her hands shook as she hugged Techno back, "Techno?" "Yea?" "I..." Her voice shattered as she spoke, "I...I can't... see..."

BayaDane tilted her head back, her royal blue eyes were covered with a grey gloss, he sighed in relief, "You're just experiencing a side effect of using your powers too much. It'll last for a day or the most of five days. Come on let's get you back to the base."

They walked back to the base holding shadow's shoulders to help lead her around, most of the time was slowed because of her falling or tripping due to the boy's bad directional skills.
