"Why do you want to help me.There is no benefit for you."He made a hard turn and then replied."W-well I just don't think it's right.To go out on a suicide mission.....alone..."

I tightened my fist knowing that in a way he's right,this was practically a suicide mission."Ok we are coming up on the base now.Just in case...if I die...the name is Jay."

He did a slight drift,and then we jumped out the jeep.I was hauling that sniper rifle on my back,running straight for the only visible cover.Behind a tent,we both sat waiting for any foreign movement.

"Why do you have a sniper?Here let me take you to a better spot then...."He whispered to me.There was a hill nearby that he told me to run to it.

I looked side to side,and then bolted to the hill.I dove to it,fearing someone heard me,or saw me before peeking out.What surprised me the most is how they didn't hear it see our jeep yet.

I got in a laying down position,and rested my sniper aiming down the scope.I could see people's silhouettes in the tent but I don't know if I want to shoot or not.Jay gave me a thumbs up and ducked,anticipating a shot.

What...what would Croatia think of me though?Retaliating against his sister like this....I held my breath and took aim at the silhouette.Steady....Steady...

Screams rang out.

I saw Jay had a pistol in his hand,ready to shoot.I gave him the go ahead,and he shot at the tent.Three bodies went down,not including the one I took out.
He was shaking,uncontrollably,I don't know if he's going to be the same after all of this.

He ran toward me,diving behind the hill and me."I-I-I don't know about this anymore....I just KILLED....THREE PEOPLE....I-I don't know how to feel..."I put a hand on his head and started patting it.I do feel a bit bad for him,but he kind of brought this upon himself.

We both perked our ears to a female voice talking above all of the confused chatter."Did anyone see who took the shots?It sounded like two different guns."The chatter stopped and a shaky male voice answered saying no.Jay took a sigh of relief that they didn't see him or me running toward the hill.

"Search the area!They cannot have gone far!"There was a roar of a yes ma'm and then footsteps everywhere.
Jay handed me a pistol,and now we both had one ready to shoot.I took the right,Jay took the left.

We waited silently,footsteps getting closer.Jay must have saw a leg or something,he shot.There was a scream of agony,and then a hard drop to the ground.We pulled him behind the hill with us and then we were surrounded.
I put my hands up on instinct.

"We're screwed...."Don't worry Jay if we are then let it be.I was just observing the people around me,they looked pretty normal for military standards.Then the final footsteps making their way to the hill,the first 
thing I saw was long flowing sliver hair.

"Stand up intruders."She spat,aqua eyes piercing my skull.We both stood up slowly,hands up before handcuffs were put on us.That had to be Yugoslavia,she's just like Croatia described her.

We were walked to a different tent,with a desk and two chairs set up just for us.We were forced to sit down,and there were two cold guns up to our heads.Yugo sat in front of us,and started to tap her hand on the desk.

"So,intruders.Why have you decided to attack us?"Jay looked over at me and I sighed."Croatia."She paused in her finger tapping,and looked directly at me."Names."Jay looked at me again,this time I shrugged.I saw some sweat drop off of him and he cleared his throat.

"M-my name is Jay-"

"No need for last name.You."
Jay gulped and looked over at me intensely.I almost forgot I didn't even tell this poor soul my name,or that I'm a country."(c/n)."

She gasped and then lowered her head slightly,looking at the desk.Jay was shocked beyond belief,and started to grit his teeth nervously."So...I'm guessing you know...Croatia personally?"

"He's not in good health because your attacking him.I came here to stop that."
She nodded while spinning her hair around."Oh ok...poor child...where is he now?"

"...Switzerland."

I lied to her.She nodded her head anyway,and asked where we even came from."If you want to see,you must come alone."She seemed so....regretful for us...him...everything.She ordered our release and a vehicle for Jay to drive us to.

As I was walking to this vehicle,I saw a shard of glass in the dirt.Nobody seemed to be looking,so I snuck it in my pocket.We got into the jeep and she took the passenger,I had the back."I'm just happy that he is alive...hm?"

Someone went up to the jeep and whispered something in her ear,looking directly at me.She nodded,and then returned to making me feel bad that she's going to die.
"I've heard about you once or twice before,Croatia used to play with you when you two were still little."

The jeep started up,and we were on our way."Yeah we are together now."
I held onto that shard of glass just waiting for the perfect time to strike,but continued the conversation.
"Really?Well I must have been gone for a while...Hm?Whats this?"

She picked up the tablet that was in my seat.It was already on the map,and she was swiping away at different locations.
This is my chance.I held the glass shard by my side and scooted close to her."Oh do you want to see?Here so we can both look..."

W-why am I hesitating?

"Big sis!Listen listen!"

"Oh okay what is it Croatia?"

"I met a new country yesterday at Rodney's!Her name is (c/n),and she's really nice!"

"That's good to hear...Croatia have you seen Slovenia anywhere?He seemed to have run off again..."

"Slovenia?No I haven't...is he ok?"

"I hope so...if you do see him around,please tell him to see me."

"Oh ok...did something happen?"

"No nothing happened,I just wanted to talk to him that's all.He doesn't stay at the house for very long,and I haven't seen him for a while...."

"Don't worry sis,you have me!"

A wave of guilt and thoughts came over me,making me stop.What the hell is wrong with me?But....what would Croatia think of me...No I'm just doing this to protect him.I don't want this right?This isn't me...It can't be me!

All of these second thoughts though....why her?I don't even know her personally yet,but I feel such a ache in my heart for her and what she must be going through...

I could feel a certain blindness forming in my mind,my own ideas canceling each other out.There was a slight headache forming just out of frustration that I refused to show outright."Here can I show you something?You remember Rodney right?"

She zoomed in on big bro's country,hanging right above mine.I shook my head yes in response."Well I'm just confused on how he got back.Do you know how or why?"
I felt as if my heart was pumping magma,my entire body was on fire.

"I could ask you the same thing."There was a hint of 'I'm not messing around' In my tone,and she heard it perfectly.
"Can one of you explain to me what's going on if you don't mind....I'm kind of lost..."Asked Jay who has been nervously tapping his foot the entire time.Yugo sent me a glare before smiling at Jay.

"Well if you can't tell already,we are both countries~!I represent Yugoslavia and she is (c/n).I have siblings,much younger than I,Croatia,Bosnia,Slovenia,and Serbia.Specifically Croatia used to go and be with...Rodney who is also a country and he took very good care of him.One day my country was completely taken over and by my knowledge,shortly after so was Rodney's.But here we are so those efforts must have been invalid."

After and during that little speech,I was wondering what I should do at this point.I have options.Either I let her go and see what happens from there,I kill her and see what happens or an outside force,presumably Jay.

Something else,I'm getting the weird feeling she's pressuring me.I don't know into what or why,but that's just another reason into the mental cork board for me to kill her.

"Well (c/n),if I can't take Croatia like I planned to,then Rodney's will have to suffice.I know it'll be hard but-"

*STAB*

*Body slumps over*

"Woah woah WOAH!She didn't even do anything!How could-Oh god the blood....*barfs*"

My eye was twitching.The blood was all over me.I cut a lock of her perfect silver hair and put it in my pocket for safe-*laughs*....keeping.Im smiling~And it's not a forced smile either,just a natural one and it feels wonderful.

"(c/n) what the hell is wrong with you??!?!?That was brutal!Couldn't you just solve it with words?"I started laughing at his joke.My chest hurt from how much I was laughing,tears even.
"With words?Jay what do you think this is?A negotiation?She was going to harm my brother,that can't be solved with words...Pfftttt hahaha!"

Jay was freaking out his eyes wide and put the petal to the metal.I sat up really close to the passenger seat and took the blood splattered tablet out her cold hands.I started patting her head,before singing that song oh so dear to my heart~~!

"Draw a circle that's the Earth I am (C/N)~!Hahaha!"
