May 8th 1915

Hey, well today. Enemy reinforcements have arrived and we are back in the front lines. Yeah we are in the Rush Team, Bravo for this fight, Its stormy, Lightning hit the ground not too far in front of us leaving a hole and smoke, Hail and Rain started to bucket down, I looked up and when another lightning struck I could see a cloud looking like the Grim Reaper. I gulped in fear. I can see and feel soldiers in fear, gripping there rifle with a firm grip, I gripped mine and checked the ammo, and it was full. I cocked the gun. "Alright soldier, we got one mission and that is to get as close to the enemy trenches as possible, we will keep going even if we are shot, we have to get to that trench. Get ready men" Said our commander. I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned my head and I saw Ashley sweating out of fear. "I am scared "She said as rain dripped over her face. "Don't worry, I'll protect you" I said knowing I can't make a promise but I will try. We heard a whistle and soldier in front of me climbed the ladders it was me next, I climbed and I saw the soldiers in front of me being mowed down from orange lines, I could hear yelling, the cracking of bones, the bubbling of blood from hot bullets and the lightning strikes. I heard a mortar fire, I could clearly see the big shell flying through the air with great speed and a smoke line following it, I heard another whistle meaning the next team would come up, soldiers came up but no sign of Ash, I looked back down in the trench and the commander was yelling at Ash eventually pulling a pistol at her, saying that disobeying an order will result in death. He was about to fire but I shot his hand. He saw me an explosion happened behind me, dirt flew everywhere. "First Class Smith, how dare you shoot your commanding officer?" Said the Commander. "Listen you rat, this was a suicide mission from the start, Instead of Ash going go out there why don't you are you just a scared old man hiding in these trenches while actual soldiers fight for the country, Get out there now and stare death in the eye because he is watching us from the sky" I Yelled . He grabbed his gun, and yelled. "Come one men let's get going". Ash stayed because she was allowed to, I rushed with the squad, bullets flying past us, killing men. A soldier dropped with a big Australian flag in his hands. I stopped and grabbed the flag and whispered, "I'll take you back to the trenches soon" I said. I ran forward then I slowed down after seeing a Metal Monster, the German bastereds brought Tanks and they fired at the attack team, Chunks of their bodies flew everywhere. I slammed the Flag in the ground, dirt flew up as I ran back, grabbing the flag boy. "We need the rocket team, they've got tanks" I Yelled
