'Arey aunty.... why are you carrying this let me help you...' he said and began carrying the plates and started distributing amongst women and I kept staring at him.

While Aaru sitting next to me said...
'Awww Karan bhai is soooo sweet...see he's serving all of us...he is sooo unique ❤️'

And I shot my head in Aarya's direction and said... 'Well I thought we have better waiters...but looks like recession ahannnn...or maybe he's not a good doctor after all' I said sipping my juice.

Next I saw him come to Aaru and ask...
'Hey Aarya...do you need anything more?'

'Ummm No Bhai...it's fine' she said with a smile...

'Arey please don't hesitate I can like get you the'

I cut literally jumped into their conversation and said..

'Mr Talwar... I'm here...I can take care of my sister'

'Mr Kapoor I was just trying to'

'Interfere??? Huhhh...I see you are doing that a lot' saying I eyed Chaahat who was sitting in the other corner of the room...

'Im not Mr Kapoor...it's just that Aarya is my junior... I know she's pregnant and being my junior rector I can do that for her right Aaru' and I saw her Aaru smile...

Next he passed me a challenging glare and went and sat next to Chaahat...

Next what he was doing was boiling my anger to next level...

While I heard Kruthi say...
'Neiv...they look adorable...you think she's the one for Bhai?'

And my eyes were burning high as he tried to feed her. She smiled and although she denied him...he kept forcing her and he made stupid monkey faces and she started laughing...

They spoke like for ages they missed each other. Who is he to her? Why is she smiling so much? 😠 I didn't want to see their romance...so I just walked to the garden area but my mind wasn't at peace...All wrong thoughts clouded my head...So even though I tried staying away I returned back to the living room...

Even after everyone finished applying Mehendi they were sitting next to each other. While I was shocked seeing them more closer than before... he was showing her his tattoo on his neck and she was showing him her Mehendi...

Her hand near his collar to check the tattoo... Touching the skin of his neck... Neck that I wanted to try my Taikwondo kick on!!!

'They are chatting since last 2 hours'

'And you are glaring at her from last 2 hours???' I heard a voice and I stood up at once while dad came and asked me to take a seat and he himself sat next to me...

'What is it son??? You are sooo like looking at them? Don't tell me you are changing your thoughts on marrying Kruthi' he said and I looked at dad at once and looked elsewhere and said...
'No Dad ...I..I wasn't staring...I'm like'

'You can't lie to me Neiv!!! Your bandaged hand is the proof!!!' he said and I looked elsewhere....

'Well anyways...I don't know if you are aware ...Karan is Kruthi's first cousin and I just heard Talwar's were very happy that Karan is dating Chaahat...Looks like his parents are no more so it's Kruthi's parents who decide for him now... Infact I Just heard Mrs Talwar discussing about Karan's and Chaahat's marriage!!!' dad said and I was shocked 😳

'But he's getting a divorce Dad!!! I have met his ex-wife a year ago...I mean.. they..they can't..it's ... illegal... he's still technically married' I tried explaining dad...

While he kept looking deep into my eyes...
'The very thought of it makes you go numb I don't know what will you do when she actually gets married to hi'

'Dadddd....I....I'll ...ge... get the food checked. If ....if everything is organised for evening snacks.' saying I ran into the kitchen area...

The very thought of it brought an unknown fear in me... 😨😰

It was a ladies function and no men were allowed. All men were asked to go to the garden area while everyone moved out except this Karan fellow!!!

'I guess they asked all men to leave right Aaru' I said and passed him a glare but instead got a response from 'HER' saying...

'Aaru ask people to mind their own business...' saying she pulled his hand in her hand interwhining fingers she dragged him inside...

My anger was ten notches high now...

Such that I stopped a waiter and gulped in a shot of hard whisky without soda...

And Aaru looked at me in shock... and said...
'Bhai I thought you quit!!!'

'Neiv Kapoor never quits!!!' I said with a faraway expression.

'Bhai he will play guitar today as Chaahat Di will be singing' Aaru said it all and I looked at her...

'Chaahat sings?' I asked and she smiled saying...
'Yup... Not as well as you but she does '

I gulped thinking how much I don't know her now...but again how much I want to know her...

I didn't want to but I sneaked into the kitchen and I stood there to listen to her sing...

While I heard guitar being played and I heard her sing a old classic...

While post the song I saw she suddenly felt like vomiting and ran to washroom to cleanup herself and here I heard some ladies saying...

'Whos that man.. Kruthi's cousin..in a ladies function??? '

They said and I went infront of them and passed them an angry glare!!!

I waited for her to come out of the washroom and next after sometime I see Karan and she together.

He was holding her too close...

Next I saw them hug eachother!!!

And I literally lost my head..

He waved her a good bye and left the living room and next second I went and stood next to her!!..

She was about to leave but I held her tightly by her wrist and dragged her upstairs to my room and locked the room and pinned her to the door ..

I saw her breathe going uneasy...
I pressed myself over her...

'Why did you vomit?' I asked...

She looked at me in a state of shock...

'None of your business...let me go' she tried turning the knob of this room door...

I held her hand and pushed it back near her butt...
She started pushing me away and I pressed myself at her...

'I wanna know... Everything... What is that Karan to you??? Boyfriend???"

'Excuse me... what the hell' she yelled...

'No Chaahat...not this time...not so easily...'

'Im not answerable to you...'

'They are planning your engagement with him'

'What rubbish'

'Exactly what rubbish...you like him is it??? Wanna settle down with him?? Finally??? Or just like me .. roam around for some time and finally on the day of wedding ditch him and runaway'

'Shutup Neiv'

'Heyyy or is it like...you are already living in with him...hey wait...you vomited so is it like you are pregna'

Before I could complete the sentence she gave one tight slap on my cheeks...

And she looked at me in full anger and I saw her literally shivering in anger...

'You are disgusting Mr Neiv Kapoor!!! And I hate you...I hate you 🥺' saying she ran out of the room...

I was left dumbfound!!!
