I was walking through Oakwood Forest. According to my research, this is the most likely place to have Cyanide plants.

The sunlight filtered through the trees, and with birds chirping and the rustling of leaves, I couldn't help but admire the beauty. For a split second I fancied that I felt the tiniest of thread of happiness, but it was broken as I remembered that conversation I had overheard. My purpose for being here. And the darkness comes flooding back.

I blundered around in my grey haze, searching for the solution to this heart-wrenching pain I felt inside. I had been looking for quite some time when I saw a glimmer through the trees. Stopping in surprise, I then began to walk slowly towards it.

A clearing was before me now, but that was not what captivated me. It was an old, exquisite mirror.

I froze in front of the mirror, hardly able to comprehend what I saw before me.
In the place that my reflection ought to be, I beheld a beautiful tan she-wolf with emerald green eyes.
The wolf was sitting, but her head was tilted upwards, gazing right at me.
Our eyes locked, but she remained calmly seated, seeming neither threatened or aggressive.

Staring into her eyes, which held a spark of intelligence, I could almost hear her asking,
"Who are you?"

I responded to the unspoken question, feeling slightly foolish,
"I am Ebony Lockheart".

The wolf gave a slow, almost sympathetic blink, her ears pricked forward and her tail swished slightly, as though beckoning me.

I hesitantly stepped forward, heeding her invitation, stopping only when I was almost directly in front of her. She gave a small whine and closed her eyes, slanting her head towards me. As though drawn by some invisible force, I reached my hand forward, towards her forehead. I paused for a moment, then touched the mirror.

I briefly felt the resistance of the silver glass against my fingertips, then suddenly it seemed to dissolve beneath my touch, drawing me in. I stumbled, falling through the mirror, into the wolf's world.
