August 7th National Lighthouse Day.
As a navigational aid for shipping,
the lighthouse shines its beacon of light,
it offers security and safety for boats,
on foggy days or a cloudy night.
Lighthouses have to be strongly built,
they have to face weather so unforgiving,
but if you like the sea and nature,
there isn't a better place to be living.
