Today is about nuclear testing,

and the dangers that can arise,

the amount of damage it can cause,

one cannot over emphasise.

These tests can affect people's health,

and can damage the environment around them,

we must put a stop to this,

this practice we have to condemn.

The International Day Against Nuclear Testing is to make people aware of the danger to the environment and mankind. This day is also to raise issues about the nuclear weapons in our world. Nuclear testing began on July 16th 1945, an atomic bomb was used on a site called Alamogordo, New Mexico. From 1945 to 1996 more than 2,000 nuclear tests have been carried out, These tests are usually broken into three categories, atmospheric tests, underwater tests and underground tests.
